De tropiska torrskogarna har en biologisk mångfald som förvånar, med många fascinerande livsformer som anpassat sig till långa perioder av torka. Här finns till exempel underjordiska träd. Men torrskogarna får mycket mindre uppmärksamhet jämfört med tropikernas regnskogar och glöms därför ofta bort i naturvårdssammanhang, trots att de också är hotade.
Biologen Camilo Londoño vid Calis botaniska trädgård i Colombia vill lära så många som möjligt om vad torrskogarna betyder både för människorna och övriga arter i naturen. Här får du följa med honom på en tropisk skogspromenad.
