(00:00):
Oh, do we have a lot to talk about today, a lot of DC
goodness. But I will say, I will say it is
time for the for the king to come back.
And you'll know what I mean whenthe show starts.
What? Time is it?
Spidey time. Pizza time.

(00:55):
The. Hello vigilantes, welcome to
episode 247 of the Vigilante 1939 podcast.
We are discussing the next moviein the aforementioned Superman

(01:15):
saga, Guns. Latest updates on what's coming
in the DCU is Robin and the Batman Part 2 and Spider Man
Brand new day. Filming is going nuts baby.
As always, the best way to support show is to please leave
us A5 serving interview on ApplePodcast and of course, follow us
on Twitter for all things that we got going on at Vigilante
1939. I am of course, 1/3 of the coast

(01:37):
here at Nick Xanic and joining me as always are Nico Supreme
and Nick Crusoe Junior. Hey, guys.
You got a dream big baby. Dream big like Timmy Chalamet
and Marty Supreme Nico. You want to be one of the
greats, I'm chasing good. One of the greats.
Chasing the glory, baby. Chase said happy to be back
boys. We're going to be doing a few in

(02:01):
a row here with Peacemaker show a week till maybe like
mid-october. So we'll we'll say that right
off the top. We got a lot of DC stuff to talk
about today. It's exciting because there's a
project coming out coming so quick after Superman.
So some speculations in order, but as you did hear me say at
the beginning, there was something that happened about

(02:21):
two weeks ago that was catching the Internet by by storm that
that, you know, I and we, we have to talk about, you know,
the king, the set photos of the goat that were the best set
photos I've ever seen. Well, well, I've talked about
that. But first, Dad, how are you
doing? I'm exhausted, man.
I I don't know if you guys are no, but I, I'm not sleeping.

(02:44):
I've been on a. What do they call that there
when you don't go to sleep? You're on a.
They used to do that in the old days.
Anyway, I'm not you. You're.
Saying you have insomnia is. What you're I know I'm saying
that I, I I'm on a I'm boycotting sleep.
The Superman's at 590-735-4211. What when it finally hit 600

(03:05):
million in its 6th or 7th week out.
I promise everyone I'm going to I'm going to I can't wait to go
to bed. Right now I'm doing everything
possible that I how. Far is it?
How far is that? It's about 2.7 million away from
six. Pounds didn't like just beat
Iron Man like. Can it get that in in a day?
Or yeah, well, it should be there by tomorrow.

(03:27):
I hope so. Guys.
I'm. I'm exhausted, man.
I'm. I'm tired, man.
I. Well wait, you you have to
adjust for inflation before the.Numbers.
Come on, don't say that. Come on now.
I have something to say about Superman Boxing.
I'm just kidding. I'm just, I'm just so tired of
the the Daily. I haven't seen him as much
lately. You know, the Daily, it's the

(03:51):
seventh biggest DC Wednesday of the port inclamation -2 since
19. Yeah.
It's just, it's just ridiculous.But whatever, it's OK.
I will say the stat that it doeshave that is very impressive to
me is the domestic It's one, it's the fifth biggest DC movie

(04:12):
domestically. DCEU movie, right?
No, it's the three Nolan movies,Wonder Woman and then Superman.
Oh, it beat Aquaman, too. It did.
OK, Yeah, yeah, Aquaman was so big overseas.
My God, if the Superman had justa little bit of overseas.
But listen, it's not just Superman.
There's a lot of movies, but Jurassic did good international.

(04:35):
So this whole thing that it's some anti American thing is
ridiculous. It's got nothing to do with
that. I think it's superhero fatigue
to be honest with you overseas that nobody wants to say.
I think it's more of that it's got nothing to do with the way
people see our country because Jurassic did really well
overseas. Yeah.
And so it is what it is. And I'm pretty sure these

(04:57):
Avengers movies and Spider Man are going to do really good
overseas when they come out. But I'm just clown and I really,
I really like the Superman. I'm I'm just laughing.
I'm just, it just, it just seemslike there was so much every
day. And you know, a couple people on
Twitter told me, well, don't payattention to it.
Not dude, it was, I couldn't miss it on my timeline.

(05:19):
There's like 8 people tweeting that what it did and what
Tuesday or Wednesday or Thursdayit was in conjunction with
everything. And in the meantime, I mean, the
movie's been out for like 6 or 7weeks.
I mean, let's, let's go, you know, come on.
Already on digital? Actually, yeah.
We don't need to, I don't, we don't need to stay on.

(05:41):
No, that time I I was, I was, I was going to say one more thing
about the box office. It was a clue.
What I'll say about the box office with Superman, and this
is with everything considered because I know there's a lot of
defense of it and it's a fair because I think the domestic,
what it's doing domestically is so impressive given all things

(06:05):
considered that like you would just say, I think it just got
unlucky because this movie quiteliterally in any other year
could probably get close to 8 like it could, it could.
I think it's, I think it's pushing and I think about 7.
I, I don't think that. I don't think that it still did
OK overseas. It's not like a disaster.

(06:28):
No, I mean wait. Wait, wait, wait, wait.
No, if we're being. Fair.
It did 255 international add 100million to that.
That's probably. All right, at 100.
OK, All right, so. 7 So it's seven, it would, it would get
close to 700 million, which would really have been something
700 million to me would have been really that.
All that being said, I do think it's fair and there's a lot of

(06:51):
defenders, there's a lot of toxicity on the 2 ends of the
spectrum here. But you can't.
I think if you write any headline about Superman's box
office, you're right because here's what I'll say.
At the end of the day, it's likesports, right?
The team who wins championship, they won the championship or the

(07:14):
team who won the game, they won the game.
It's not about how, you know, close couple years ago in the
World Cup or a few World Cups ago, Croatia outplayed the hell
out of France, but France scoredon literally their only four
shots on goal. France won the World Cup, France
won, They won. They played worst, they won the

(07:36):
World Cup. At the end of the day, the
number will always be smaller than Man of Steel.
And you can argue all the nuancethe time of year inflict.
Do whatever you want. When we look back, we're going
to see the smaller number. The eye test of the number never
goes away. What?
The only thing you need the Super to to think about with

(08:00):
Superman's box office, the only thought you need to have is it
did well enough to keep the things going.
It did what it needed to do to keep the things going.
And that's all. Superman's whole performance,
box office, critical, all of it.It was good enough.

(08:21):
You know what I thought? That's the.
Wording that you should use. Yeah, I it just, and I'll, it
will get off after this, becausehere's my whole take on it that
I was saving for. When you look at Superman, it
the box office almost doesn't matter because it it it, it does
to domestically. We all of a sudden everything's
domestic. But the movie did something that
was really important. And what it did is it got

(08:43):
people, a general audience interested in the character
again. Now, it wasn't overwhelming and
it wasn't colossal and it wasn'tthis ultra global phenomenon
that I think a lot of people want it.
OK, but it did enough, probably more than enough to get him.

(09:06):
And I think it was a combinationof of not just the movie, but
the guy that plays him, David, Ithink, I think he really, I
think he was better than the movie and I think he had a lot
to do with it. And you guys are right.
It's going to continue. We're going to judge it based on
the success over the next five years of the future movies.

(09:28):
Now, I will say this, I'm not expecting Supergirl and I hear
it's great. There's some buzz on it, early
buzz. I'm not expecting Supergirl to
do the numbers that Superman did, but I'm certainly expecting
the next one and the one after that, 'cause if those movies
don't do at least 6 or 700, seven, 100,000,800 and then

(09:51):
we're back into this whole thingagain of, of small, tight,
concise, moderate success. But because we're going to see,
we're going to see we're going to again.
You can't judge him against Spider Man.
It's hard to do that. It's even hard to judge him
against Batman. But you know, the same thing
will be said for Matt Reeves. Batman two.
We're going to see what that does too.
Is that going to do? Is that going to do 770?

(10:13):
Maybe the days of the sequels doing more is over.
I mean. It could be, but Superman did
did more than enough from a brand standpoint.
Not ADC brand. The DC does not have a brand
yet. No one's buying into the DC
brand. We'll know that in five years.
Superman is back. He is what I would say back in

(10:37):
the consciousness of the old young where he wasn't so much.
And it's not negative, it's positive.
It's fun. That's a major win.
The box office discourse is absolutely nauseating.
Yeah, like it. It's all got to.
Stop in any way you want exactly.
So let's we get there. But we all firmly agree that you

(10:58):
know it's it's it did. And the guy was right it it's
like a double. It's like a double.
He got thrown out at third trying to stretch it to a
triple, but that's OK it's good.It was good.
It was a ringing double down theleft field line if you're
right-handed batter, and we're very happy with that.

(11:19):
As DC fans, I think we all should be, and I think we are.
And the consensus is that the movie was good.
Yes. Yeah, it's a consensus pretty
much. Everyone, the movie was good.
It wasn't great. It was good.
No. But what I mean is like.
We got a lot of Superman fans onTwitter and they're not glazing
the movie as much as a lot of other people.
And it's not this overarching, reaching, great movie.

(11:43):
And when you look back at it, I don't change what I think about
it, but it's. It's.
Say this again, David was betterthan the movie.
That's how I feel. But the movie was pretty good.
That shows you what I really think.
I think if you make it very simple, black and white, like I
would say most people hated Dawnand Justice, right?

(12:04):
Like most people, you would say it was bad instead of good.
Most people say that Superman's at least good and that's a good
thing. So if that's the best thing and
I was going for and that people love the character of Superman
because that's what'll, that's the thing that's going to keep
selling that I'd still don't think people understand.

(12:25):
I'm going to say one last closing comment because now I
just got me something that pissed me off the other day on
Twitter is people are acting like so many things about the
movie are. The movie was big because it was
Superman. People left the movie liking
Superman. No one was walking out of that

(12:47):
movie being enthralled by the world building or like the fact
that Maxwell Lord like what? Sure, people like to those
things. That's nerd stuff, man.
Number one thing people are saying about the movie is the
kindness. It felt good.
It was good. People didn't leave that movie
because I see people arguing forthat henchman thing going.

(13:10):
It's a great way for a gun to tell a story, to flush out the
universe. I'm like, no, no, no, no.
You don't understand. People want to see freaking
Batman. People want to see Superman.
Why do you think the sequel now we'll get into this?
Yeah, there's already going to be.
Weeks ago and with Josh Horowitz, he was saying like,

(13:30):
you know, he never talked about a sequel, and now it's the
straight up remember, he said it's not quite a sequel, but
Superman is a big part of it. What are they calling it now?
The Superman saga, the Superman sequel?
Yeah, yeah, yeah, they know. Well, you have to do this for
everyone who's like. They can't.
Just copy Marvel. It shouldn't just be limited to

(13:50):
the films. Yeah dude, you need the movies
with the heavy hitters. You ain't making that henchman
movie ever. I don't care if it's Zach
Cragger. That movie, that version of that
movie is not happening. Maybe on HBO Max, Yeah.
I want to hear you talk. Let's just say one more thing.

(14:11):
They're doing what I think is great is that they're fast
tracking the sequel, right? We've been talking since the
last podcast. We were saying there's nothing
in 2027 except for The Batman. I'm thrilled that this is going
to get fast tracked. Do you believe that like I do
that they feel a little momentumand the fact that they still

(14:34):
don't have a Batman yet and Wonder Woman's not done that
they that that Zasloff probably said, look, we got some we got
some buzz with the Superman movie.
OK, It did OK. I would say they probably going
to break even or lose a little bit of money.
They're not going to make money on the theatrical run.
Anybody that says that they could fake numbers any way you

(14:55):
want it, when you break the halfthe box office down with the
marketing or what it cost, even if it winds up doing 620,
they're probably about even or short a little bit.
They probably will make some money in the digital and the
home stuff, which is good. Zita, you feel that that's what
happened that Zaslow says, let'snot sit here.
Let's get to something because I'm really excited.

(15:16):
We haven't talked about that. We, we, we're varying here a
little bit, but really I'm excited that they're fast
tracking this Superman saga. That's got to make you, you got
to be thrilled, right? See.
No, I'm, I'm filled because the,the last thing you really wanted
to do was wait another like fouror five years, you know, to, to
do a proper Superman follow up, right?

(15:36):
You just couldn't you, you, you,you don't want to do revisionist
history with that, essentially. So I think it's a it's a smart
play. Superman saga intrigues me
because then you have the idea like, OK, so Supergirl comes out
next year. Superman was wildly successful.
Everybody seemed to respond verypositively with with them in
that scene together that they had at the end of the movie.

(15:58):
So. On paper, an idealistic sequel
to me would be to put Superman and Supergirl together.
And I know James Gunn's on record saying that he had an
idea for Brainiac and but he scratched him out at the end
because he didn't want to do toomuch.
So already I'm like, all right, James.
So now just do the movie that most people would want to see,
which is Superman and Supergirl against Brainiac or whatever

(16:21):
version of a villain you want todo with.
Well Lobo in there fall. I care cause Jason Momoa was
money. So you might as well just throw
as much heavy hitters in that movie as you can.
But that would be to me, that's the route that I would go and it
makes the most sense. While I would have loved to seen
world's finest, maybe that's like the the third movie in miss
saga that that he apparently hasin mind would make sense to me.

(16:42):
I think Superman and Supergirl are the hot hands that you got
right now. So it's best to just throw your
throw all your chips in on that table.
That's what I would do. Can I make a prediction?
Yeah, I think it's similar goingto be similar, and you guys can
go and read this. I'm not going to get spoiled,
right? I think it's going to be panic
in the sky. And I think what's going to
happen is that'd be great if youcan answer the girl.

(17:04):
You're going to receive the return of the Justice King.
That game's going to grow. We're going to get a few new
characters. Unfortunately, one of them might
be John Cena's Peacemaker, whichwe'll talk about later.
But I think we're going to get more characters coming on board.
I don't think they're going to be Flash and Aquaman, but maybe

(17:25):
we get our Wonder Woman introduction.
Maybe we get a couple more characters that he wants to
bring on board here. Maybe a Green Arrow, maybe a
Harley comes back. I don't know.
But I, I, I believe it's a Superman saga, Yes, But I
believe it will be heavy with not necessarily heavy hitters,

(17:47):
but a pretty good cast of characters.
What do you think, Nico? Or you think I'm crazy?
No, I think that's exactly it. Because I think Sasloff was
like, you got a guy like Thanos. Is there a guy in this DC who's?
Like doing. James Gunn is like, well,
there's this guy who uses his mind and David's like, stop,
don't even tell me the name of the freaking character.

(18:10):
I don't even want to know. But is he big?
Can it be like, Oh my God, he's going to blow up the world and.
James is like. Yeah, his name is and he's like,
don't say his name. I know it's something goofy in
comic book. He just let's call him DC
Thanos, right? So that's the I mean.
Again, I I can still give two craps who the villain is.

(18:30):
I just want to see them two together because I just think
it's about time and I think thatthem too would be money.
Wait, is bringing a villain in panic in the sky?
Yes, yeah, yes. He's a very integral part of it,
yeah. So then.
Yeah, I'm thinking like that's. The movie I feel like.
Yeah, if it's not. Going to be what what your dad
said. That's the second option I think
would be the most sense they need.

(18:51):
They need spectacle and you can tie in the Brainiac stuff to the
message from his parents. Like you could keep that thing
going. I think he's lying when he says
he's not going to revisit that or that they or that they dealt
with it. But wait, Nico, he.
He he was on record saying he had scientists confirm it, that
no, I know. I know and you know.

(19:12):
I mean, it's you got to take it for you got to take it for what
it is, brother, what if? Brainiac manipulated that
message long before Clark even got to Earth.
How about this iron though? We.
Have this heavy hitter character, we have all these
supporting characters around him.
Almost feels like this grounded Superman movie feels bigger,
doesn't it? I will be honest with.

(19:34):
You guys just. Just follow me.
I don't want to give spoilers away, but all right.
Brainiac is the. Main character, but there's a
couple of more heavy hitters andI don't.
And just say who's in the story. It's fine.
Well, Mongrel's. In it, there's a couple.
There's War wolves, there's a lot of stuff out there and
there's a lot of heavy hitters. It was a big thing.

(19:57):
He can do this. Not quite.
You don't maybe have to have Batman and Flash and Aquaman and
stuff but. Yeah, you might have the
lanterns. I mean, you might have another
Lantern besides Dude. If if if I that would be sick, I
think. You got to put.
You got you need lanterns and stuff now it's an invasion.

(20:20):
Movie too, it's scary. It can work really well because
it's a it's a it's a threat to the entire world that there
there could be space. I mean, to me, I just again, I
might be so off here, but I just, I feel so connected
sometimes to like what I think they could do and you know,
let's see what happens. I don't it's not like an inside

(20:41):
information here. Once in a while we we talk to
some goofy people. No that.
That story is excellent, though I would be remiss if yeah, no, I
think. That would be a cool.
It's a. It's a.
Very cloud pleasing story. And again, it's not simple.
I mean it is, I'm sorry, it is simple.
It's not like it's a it's going to require too much.
And it, it's another one of these things where he's already

(21:02):
introduced a lot of the main characters, right?
So you, you, you bring in a funeral list and then you, you
know, you don't have. And listen, Luther, yeah, I
mean, there's a connect. You know, there's a lot of
things that could happen here. And you're, you're right, there
could be a lot of things with Brainiac, with the Fortress of
Solitude, with some of the transfusions, all that stuff.
Even though he says, I'm not saying it's fake, he said it's

(21:24):
real, but there could be still some other things that have some
major ramifications. So definitely don't.
Believe everything you hear, son, right?
This is. This is.
Super. This is super exciting.
I, you know, to me, I. Super exciting to.
Me, I, I, I want, I said I want to see David fast and I and I, I
know we might see him in something else, but I'm looking

(21:45):
for this guy, whether he's the costar or you won't have to
wait. Long.
Don't worry. That's good.
I'm glad. Dude, if it if it's less than
two years, dude, that's a major it might be about.
Seven weeks, but hold on. Hey, I hope.
I hope I don't I. Don't want to see him in the.
I don't want to see him in the. Don't get mad.
The guys on threads get mad at him.

(22:06):
Don't get mad at me, James, Comeon.
So. Well, nothing.
Is the podcast over or we got other stuff to talk about?
No, no, no, no. We.
Have more so the other thing. So I also watched I watched the
whole interview on the Vail vilefiles that told you nothing.

(22:26):
I, I, I want that hour and 40 minutes of my life back.
Shout out to James. I'm happy about his life.
I'd like like him in the interview.
He sounds like a fun guy, but man, I don't I'm I can't keep
hearing him talk about himself. I'll be honest with you, it's
starting to get nauseating. I know there's a lot of people
who love him and glaze him and it's fine.

(22:46):
I like him too. But I think there's AI think
someone could eventually get to be too much.
And after Peacemaker, I think heneeds to take a big long break
because I'm getting tired of himand the world forgets about you
fast. So but he did say that the next
two movies would on a different on the one with Chad Hardwick
that I had to skip through too. From the talking Dead days Dad.

(23:08):
Chad Hardwick. Yeah, that the next two movies
after Supergirl and Clayface aregoing to be the Superman sequel
in the Batman Part 2, which is that makes me think they're
going to try to get the sequel out in 27.

(23:29):
However, I can't get one more movie in there of like different
characters. It's a lot of TV, another
series. He said that Paradise Lost and
Booster Gold and Wonder Woman are all and Brave and the Bold
are all going really well in terms of the development
process. So I wonder if those things are
all going to be 28. Maybe that's the two shows and

(23:50):
two movies for you actually, butany thoughts on those things?
And I guess your your temperature Zetti in a few
minutes is going to talk about the first five episodes of
Peacemaker season 2 spoiler free.
I know he's got a review out andhe tweeted about it, but in in
case you you want to hear his thoughts again, a couple days
removed and we'll we'll get my dad's and I general our pulse on

(24:14):
Peacemaker season 2. So right off the bat, whichever
1 he wants to take it, those four projects, the two he's
confirming are probably going tobe the next two and any other
thoughts on on those things? Go ahead, Mr. C No, you go
ahead, you go ahead. Go ahead.
OK. So Batman and Superman in 27

(24:34):
adds up to me. Obviously you're willing with
the World's Finest so that that's a good 1-2 punch.
I feel like cuz at this point the Batman, she's got to come
out. Whatever version of that movie
is made, whether it's DCU or or stand alone, whatever version of
it, it's got to come out at thispoint because the headache of
that movie is driving myself crazy.
Not that casual people know whatthe headache is, but it's, it's

(24:56):
got to come out at this point. I had suspected that 27, you can
insert a Wonder Woman movie in the summer of that year just
because it felt like that movie is being fast tracked.
So I don't know if maybe they end up do swapping Wonder Woman
Superman, but I would agree withNico.
I think probably, considering how Gun is talking about it,
he's further along on the Superman sequel than any of us

(25:19):
probably are led to believe. So that would make sense to me
that those are those two movies.Swear.
To me, you swear to me. Paradise Lost in Wonder Woman I
feel like should be in the same year.
Yeah, swear to me. Sorry, I just fell around.
No, you did. You did.
Don't swear to. Me.
Sorry. You're good, you're good, but I

(25:43):
don't know, like Brewster Gold'san enigma to me.
I have no idea what what what tomake honestly of that one at
this moment because it's a big question mark right now.
Question mark to the question should we just?
Talk about it. Should we just talk?
About it, I feel like the cat might be out of the.
Bag, so we might as well just like Oh Zeddy.

(26:03):
That there's also a cat out of abag somewhere.
Cat is out of. The bag.
Oh. I love.
It the cat Wait, we're all over the board now.
Let's take one thing at a time, you know?
Sometimes I'm out. Of the money and sometimes, you
know, I've had my talk about how.
None of us are thrilled with theidea of possibly who boost our
goal is good. No, I, I think Zeddy told me he

(26:24):
was really excited, Zeddy said. It's the best casting I can I
can. Assure you there's no version of
any of mine, no. No guys off Mike Zeddy was just
like, I think people should giveit a chance.
Dude, it was crazy. Is it is that?
No, I'm just kidding. He was very animated.
No good in the. Movie The big sick that
honestly, I texted Nico's like, dude, this guy is Booster Gold

(26:45):
dude, he did. Text me that years.
Ago like Oh my. God I mean like why isn't this
guy like they should make him brainy actors.
You lead it off. How do you feel about that
casting? And then dad will go OK,
honestly, like. Like no disrespect to the actor.
I mean he's like any actor. He has a stick.

(27:08):
He's got a certain personality, he's got a certain vibe to him.
He's a comedy guy. So he's in a lot of comedy
movies, he's in some ROM com movies and he's I can see why
somebody might say he's a likable person.
Maybe he is a very likable person in real life.
That being said, there are certain actors that just aren't
meant to be in certain roles. You know, you look that I'm very

(27:30):
adamant that I do not like Adam Driver in any Hugo role because
I don't think that that's who heis.
Wants to be a villain. That's who he is.
I love the Adam Driver straight.I have to because 1919. 39 you
know, but that but. That's my thing, you know, But
that's what I'm going for. So like, I don't see him as
Booster Gold and it has nothing to do with race or how he looks

(27:51):
or how he talks or how tall he is or whatever.
He's just not who I see as Booster Gold.
And sometimes you just have to cast the visual to the
character. Now that being said, if we're
going to play devil's advocate, could he win all of us over?
And maybe he does end up being great in the role if he is cast
as Booster Gold. Sure, I'm sure he has the the

(28:12):
ability to to handle it. But on paper, I'm probably going
to question this and being like,I don't know what you what you
were thinking on this one, Because I feel like, so there's
a hundred other guys that probably were better for this
wall. And we won't know until we see
them if, if that's the case. But I'm going to say this is an
L right now for me. Here's the thing.
With Booster Gold. Based on what I'm.

(28:35):
Hearing from Peacemaker, isn't it kind of similar to like what
booster is too, except for time?Well, I mean, it's it's it's
like what different life and better thing and you know, you
you make yourself a hero. I mean, I don't I mean, I know
Booster. He's a good character.
I've read him. I have a lot of fun.
I don't probably care for the character as much Nico.

(28:55):
I mean, before I talk to you, asyou do, said he I don't know how
much Booster you've read the actor himself, Kamal, is that
that's how you pronounce his name, right?
You know, he's a terrific comedian.
I mean, I liked him in that movie he did where he meets his
wife. And I didn't care from
internals. I got a bad taste in my mouth
from him from Eternals. I'm not a I'm not an Eternals
movie lover like you are. See, I don't know who you.

(29:16):
Are and I just. I didn't.
Care. I.
Didn't care for Jolie. I didn't care for Salma Hayek.
I thought there was some Really, really, I thought that's when
Marvel like I, I expected more from that.
Chloe's out and then they cast all these like kind of big
actresses in that movie and it, it just didn't do much for me.
And so now you're taking him andnow you're going to put him with

(29:37):
the DCU and he's going to be booster it.
It's not a it's not even a looksthing because maybe he could
pull it off. He's quirky.
He's a funny dude. I was looking for a younger guy,
to be honest with you. I'm looking for some youth in
these movies too, you know? What is he?
He's like in his 50s, isn't he? Or whatever.
I mean, hell, he's going to be in his. 50s by the time, but
even Dylan fits the. Guy part a little bit.

(29:59):
He's the older guy. You know, I was talking to to Z
on this, you know, like they gotGardner so right.
Like Dylan is like, he's not raunchy, but he's like, he plays
that role so good. Kind of an old stuffy guy that
thinks better of himself. He's a little pretentious, but
yet really has a good moral compass to him despite the way

(30:20):
he acts. He's going to do the right thing
no matter what he says. So we got to give this guy a
chance, I guess if he cast. But overall, this is not a
project. It's another DC character that I
think is going to be shoehorned into the new gang to make up for
the Aquaman's in The Flash and some of the bigger guys that he

(30:42):
seems to be afraid to get back into because it might be too
soon. I don't know.
That's my thoughts on it. Batman Two.
Yeah, let's do it. It's going to happen.
Nick. I'll throw it to you.
You know, Supergirl, we're all excited about Clayface.
It is what it is where you can see it.
But I, I think about Clayface asmuch as I do want to go to a
dentist and sit in a chair for awhile.

(31:03):
So it's not it's not something that I'm eagerly anticipating
and looking forward. To well, I mean, well, that's
tough follow. No, so I'm why I'm very
skeptical and I dislike the casting so much as I actually
and I I got to thank the guys atthe comic bench for this.
I've read a decent amount of Booster gold things to them.

(31:27):
So it's actually a character I've grown to really enjoy.
I'm not saying I'm I'm I'm an expert, but the two like most
significant things being his stuff in the 52, all that stuff
in that like infinite crisis span of time as well.
All that stuff, Dad, that we were doing on a comic binge.
And then I read the start of hisrun with John's and like, it's a

(31:49):
fun character. He's a character that I feel
like with the casting makes me worried that they're going to
lean in too much into the comedybecause that guy's funny, but he
also operates with like a lot oflike cringe humor and stuff.
And I just like you said, I'm glad.
I'm glad you brought up the Eternals thing.
It's just it's hard. He's he's an actor who just his

(32:10):
sensibilities, it's hard to takeseriously.
And thing about Booster Gold is in all the quirkiness, cockiness
in the comedy, there's a real character there.
You you said it too, Dad, he's got kind of he's Peacemaker is
kind of adjacent to him in termsof like what the character, how

(32:31):
the character kind of operates and stuff.
He's not as rude and not as darkand not as like based.
On the storyline that we know what Peacemaker 2 is, it's kind
of like his I he goes to dimension to be.
He likes it better there. Boobs.
Yeah, and. Goes to be a hero it's.
Just sort of parallel stuff, youknow there's a parallel.
Story going on too what you're saying.
So you know, Skeets is fun though.

(32:53):
That could be a fun character for the robot that follows him.
For those of you who don't know it could be a very fun character
with him. But so I'm excited for the idea
of Booster Gold cuz I think he'sa rich character for the films
and I think a television show about that story could be great.
The problem is it feels a bit derivative at this point.
And just like I don't like the casting, but the Batman Part 2

(33:15):
Jeff Snyder saying Catwoman might not be in there isn't in
it because they were told on thepress tour for caught stealing.
Don't ask her about the Batman. But maybe that's just what
they're saying that she's not init so people don't ask her
questions. But we won't spend too much time
on that cause Jeff Snyder actually has grown to be hit or
miss lately, even though he was hitting for a while.

(33:38):
Yeah, I the Paradise Lost in Wonder Woman.
Give it to me. Give me the Amazons.
I think that's that's big for right now and brave and bold
when I see it. Yep, I'll.
Believe. Anything about that movie, when
I see it, I don't even want to think about the writer or
whatever. My temperature for Peacemaker is
just this. I like season 1.

(33:58):
I was a little more critical of it than most people.
Not in terms of its overall quality because they I think the
finale is great. I just think by the end of the
show, it's pretty beat for beat like the Suicide Squad, the
movie, and you could argue with me all all you want, but
including the final threat and the whole like it is very
similar to the movie. And in even like going against

(34:21):
Waller and having this ragtag team turn on her and characters
finding each other. They're all these misfits in
different ways. He's very good at that, but
that's his shtick. So I'm coming off Superman, that
my biggest take away from Superman, my two biggest
positives were David and I said it's the most DC movie I've ever
seen. So I loved all the world

(34:41):
building and stuff. I was the person who walked out
of the theater more interested in other things than the
kindness thing. And to go right back to this
raunchy R rated thing for me, regardless of how good the story
is, I'm not thrilled about it. I'm not thrilled about it.
Zeddie, Here's your segue to talk about the first five I've

(35:02):
seen. Everybody loves it or likes it.
The only consensus I've seen that's a critique is maybe the
first couple aren't great. And that's actually what I know
you felt. And then it got much better for
you. So talk about the five episodes
of Peacemaker and spoiler free as possible, as if you were

(35:23):
doing it again for a, for a review.
Yeah. Thank you, HBO, very kind of
you. OK, so Peacemaker season 1, I'm
going to start off with like I'mgoing to probably do this in
like a bullet point for him because I feel like that's
probably the best way to do it. John Cena is terrific.
So like so far, even though I dothink like Nico said, my main

(35:43):
critique of the show is that it starts off a bit rocky.
Like it is kind of really slow in the beginning.
Like it it takes a bit like maybe 3 or 4 episodes to really
find its group. But John Cena is outstanding.
Like I actually think that this might be from an acting
perspective, his best work that I think I've seen on him and
anything because I think he has a lot more to work with.
He's really trying to like tap into something different, which

(36:06):
I appreciate and wouldn't wouldn't James Gunn gives him in
this series. So right off the bat, he's my
favorite part of the whole series.
The humor though, and I know I talked this to Mr. C.
So this is going to be 1 where Ifeel like a lot of people's
mileage are going to vary even more.
So so how it open, I'm actually really shocked.
I'm going to make a critique on the reviews and and how

(36:28):
overwhelmingly positive they arebecause I myself, while I see a
lot of HBO and while I see a lotof adult oriented content, this
is extremely probably the most vulgar thing that I've seen in
comic book space. I mean like you're talking like
how I described it. Way I.

(36:50):
Would say it's up there with Deadpool.
How? Because Deadpool.
Doesn't show is isn't there? Well, the first one.
Was like a come on, there was a lot of you're.
There's some stuff and I don't think this is a spoiler.
Isn't there an orgy there? Is an orgy.
That's something out of the. Boys, man, yeah, I'm telling you
so. A lot of lot of like, yeah, sex

(37:11):
like that. Yeah, there's a lot.
Of nudity and vulgarity. He just.
Can't hide his his Pervins such as a He's talking about the.
Orgy too. In interviews, that's my thing
with DC today I'm hearing sound clips of him like granted,
granted, I will say this, he wasvery high on intimacy

(37:33):
coordinators and how Hollywood works with it.
So it actually ended up being like a really nice thing he
talked about. But this whole interview he's
talking about the orgy and it's funny and they're laughing and
I'm like, this is the guy who just made Superman.
This is the guy who just made kindness as punk rock.
Now he's saying let's bang, you know?
Yeah. Let's all bang.

(37:54):
Well, they literally. Literally let's bang.
And then I didn't know that. I I got to be honest, yeah.
I didn't know there was a thing like that in there.
That's kind of, it's a weird thing.
I mean and like the the. Humor to me and like this is how
I, like I described it to your dad and you know, because I just
talked to him like like before we got on here is it's like,

(38:14):
think of it like baseball Bros in a dugout.
Like if us three were sitting ina dugout and I saw a girl that
I, that I thought looked hot from like a distance.
And I looked at Nico and I said, you know what?
I bet I could check up with thatgirl in like 3 different ways
like later tonight. That's the kind you would say
it. So much more I would but for
like. Podcasting, I'll be a little

(38:35):
yeah, but like, you know, I'm like, God, I, you know, like I
don't want to just for, I don't want to.
You're saying gun goes with the worst possible version of
exactly. Exactly.
Yeah. And it's very like beat over the
head with A2 to the point where I was like, all right, James, I
get it. So a little derivative.
So like if you like, if you likehis stick, you might be able to

(38:56):
look past it. I buy the 5th episode.
Well, but it's very heavy-handed.
So I'm going to let people know that off top of your hand.
Go ahead. One more thing that I'll end on.
I'm going to say one thing. That's going to come off like a
like a really bad insult. And I don't mean it to I just
there's clearly people like I even got to so like, I'll just

(39:23):
say this. They're very clearly people who
love Peacemaker and they loved the Suicide Squad.
They called it like the best, you know, DC movie and there's
people who really like creature Commandos.
And so there's clearly people like what what Amazon's doing

(39:44):
with like Gen. V and like the boys.
Like there's very clearly peoplewho love when the comic book
stuff goes that hard are and I love that for them.
Here's my thing though, and I'm not calling these people not
real comic book fans or not comic book readers.

(40:05):
The three of us read, you know, so many comic books.
There's nothing really actually in DC Comics that goes as vulgar
as Gun does with stuff, unless I'm that wrong, even like the
Deadpool. So it's tough because I'm going,
well, that's not even really like Peacemaker doesn't feel

(40:26):
like DC Comics to me. It doesn't.
It doesn't, you know, and even if he puts these other
characters in, I'm going to be like, what is this hard R
version of some of these people?I'm not looking to see.
So that's the only thing I'm personally, I'm not talking
about anyone else. I'm personally curious as a fan

(40:47):
about because I'm ADC comics fan.
And when you bring the tone there, I'm not because like it.
Even Deadpool doesn't go the things you're saying and the
things Gun saying in his interview and like the stuff
that the boys does. I mean, Deadpool doesn't do any
of that. So like the boys and people say
like the comics of the boys are ass and that's fine.

(41:08):
But like I don't even consider the boys like a comic book
thing. I consider it like a television
thing because I don't go that vulgar with comics.
I just don't. My stuff doesn't even the
independent stuff I read, it doesn't go that that graphic.
So to me it's like not DC. And people will be like, what's

(41:29):
the I'm telling you, I don't care if it's the best television
show I watched. I'm not going to tell you it's a
great DC comic show. I'm not going to do that.
So I'm looking for more of that,James, that even Clayface being
a horror movie works for me. More scary concept, yeah.

(41:51):
I, you know, we're going to watch it.
I mean, I'm trying not to prejudge it before I see it.
I, I thought the first season was good.
I don't think it was some phenomenon that everybody seems
to say it is. And I don't think Suicide Squad
did anywhere near what people thought it did.
And I know that nobody really watched Creature Commandos.

(42:12):
He just likes to play in this vulgar world.
He likes it and it's. And he's and he just.
Can't get himself out of it and I, I don't know, man, he, he
even put some of it in Superman.I mean, let's be honest,
there's, there's a little bit ofit in Superman with the Jimmy
and Lexus girl. I mean, there's, there's some

(42:32):
stuff that maybe didn't really need to be.
And dude, I am far from a prude.I mean, I, I am.
Oh yeah. I mean.
No, not. I mean, I am not.
That is not my thing here. But you know, you're building a
world here that you want to takekids to and that you want to,
you want to do it. It's just, it's just weird to me
and I know what's going to happen.
I know probably Superman's goingto wind up, I don't know, but

(42:54):
I'm sorry if you don't want to hear this, but Superman's
probably going to cameo in this. And I, they, they don't belong
together, these two characters. I mean, maybe Gun will convince
me that they do. I don't, I don't know.
But we'll see what happens. I mean, I'll tell you right now,
it's got a, there's 42 reviews and it's got a 98% of Rotten
Tomatoes. So I, I don't understand, I
don't know how many people reviewed the television show,

(43:16):
but I mean, it's like, there's not a bad review.
Yeah. Not a bad review.
Of it. Yeah, so pretty much the last
thing that I'll end on because all the while I really, what I
sat on this is like I didn't, I don't think like it's
outstanding or anything like that.
Like I might actually prefer thePenguin over this if I'm being
completely honest. But I, well, I hope so.

(43:37):
God, I've only seen the 1st. 5 So I do have to throw that
disclaimer the the last week could very well be like amazing,
and I'm hoping that they are because especially when we leave
off after five, I'm really excited to see how people
respond to well, let's. Let's be honest, he won't scream
the last three, so no. And everyone's gonna see him.
At the same time, which is fun, it's a multiverse story to very

(43:59):
much a multiverse story. So, well, I.
Don't want to get on that stuff if you've seen like.
It's a Wonderful Life and like Sliding Doors, that movie will
like going to Paltrow. That's kind of like the
inspirations I got. I'm not going to go too much
farther than that because I'd bespoilery, but that's pretty much
the inspiration I I pretty much got from.
And so overall it's pretty good. He's going to have to give it.
Up right? I mean, that has to be the

(44:20):
ending. It's not.
That. It's, it's not that crazy.
You, you know, like. Where you went at 5, pretty much
gathered where it's going to go from here.
Big cameos, not a lot. So I would temper myself.
When you're watching the first five, don't expect anybody
really major. There is a really cool one for
fans of a certain movie that he directed in the DC Universe,

(44:46):
particularly in the DC EU. That's all I would say.
Really cool callback or I guess you're bringing a character back
that's really cool. Not going to say any more than
that, but overall, really prettygood.
It won me over by the end and I'm excited to see the last
thing and hopefully it finishes off strong.
I love it. I love it.
So let's close here with the king.

(45:09):
Dude, those Spidey, those Spideyset pics are the best set pics
I've ever seen. And I want to there's a belief
out there I saw someone be like,oh, they're they're taking a
page out of Superman's book withthe set photos.
First of all, set photo advertisements been around for a
long time. Go back to end game.

(45:29):
I mean the. Batman.
The Batman had. So many No Way Home was famous
for the leaks. Not set photos, but for leaks,
right, Leaked pictures. And then yeah, Superman's were
famous because first of all, there weren't that many, but
Superman's were famous because they all looked better than the

(45:50):
official picture he showed. First of all, that's why the
Superman ones got popular. These Spidey ones were trending
for two weeks in Glasgow. I I checked in.
I had to check in the one time because I also want to thank
everyone. Dude so many people DM and
texting. You.
Where are you with this? And I'm like, dude, thank you so

(46:12):
much because I needed this and then I couldn't respond to him
till later. I feel, I feel like I missed
some of that first hype. But with the costume noted,
Spidey's different people are ready.
They're hungry for it. Guys talk about what they look
like. I'm going to say this.
This is not hyperbole. And when it looks more touched
up and done up in the movie and post, the costume already looks

(46:35):
like the best on screen Spidey costume I've ever seen.
I, I, I mean, it's giving TASM to run for its money already
strongly. So I just think they look great.
They're hard, they're cool, The kids are there, there's so many
people, there's crowds all around.
The practical swinging, the explosions.

(46:55):
I mean that Destin's cooking something there.
He was great with the grounded and then spectacle blend in
Shang Chi from a visual standpoint.
So I think they're cooking and then there's a lot of fun
tidbits, castings and stuff thatwe'll talk about.
But boys, talk about the set pics.
God, they were gorgeous. Gorgeous.

(47:15):
No, dude. I got to echo everything you
said to me. That's true.
Looks so fucking gorgeous, man. I mean like it looks so good.
Say whatever adjective you want,it's a sensational amazing, you
know, whatever adjective ever been associated with spider man.
I mean, like God, like that level of blue and the bigger
spider on his son. Like, like I'm just getting
nitpick, like just crashing overthe suit.

(47:38):
I got a dude. I love what you said about
feeling the hunger about this movie because like I look at
everything that we've gotten with those pics and I know I
made a tweet out that and some people with me because like,
well, it's Sony. Well, I don't care if it's Sony
or Marvel. I mean, they know exactly what
they're doing by letting by letting these picks.
Look at the narrative that. Already they're sending.
I mean, you have way more peopleexcited for this movie and all

(48:01):
we've seen are set pics and any comic movie that we've had just
in the last 2 1/2 years when yougo on Twitter.
So it's so. There's, there's people and.
Objectively, yeah, there hasn't been a.
Spider Man movie for five years exactly.
So it'll be it'll be almost. Six No, it won't be 6 since no
way home one was no way home. 20it'll be. 20/21/21 It's almost

(48:25):
five years. It's about four and a half by
the time it comes out, since it's a live action Spider Man
movie. I think people are hungry and it
feels cool, like you know what Imean?
Tom's bigger. Isn't that like I think it's, I
think it's the thing the the thepractical.
Stuff is just awesome, man. You know, like, I mean, I just
love seeing that because it feels like it's bringing it back

(48:47):
to the original roots that that we're used to seeing, right?
Like, that's what I love. Like I love seeing that Spider
Man's out in the open and you can see the movie being filmed
in real time. I think that that's awesome.
That's incredible. So I'm excited.
And I know Nico Teeza, there's alot going on in this movie and
it sounds like awesome. So I'm in, man.

(49:07):
I'm all in on this thing. What about you, Mr. C?
Yeah, I mean. The the the set photos look
beautiful. It's wonderful.
I mean, I don't I am the I'm going to give the cliche that
everybody talks about, but it look like it's ripped right out
of the comic book. I mean, it looks beautiful.
He looks beautiful. I can't I mean, I'm I'm super

(49:29):
excited for this movie. It's been far too long since
we've seen Spidey on the big screen.
Nick, you're right. I think he will write the I
think he will wake up the fatigue crowd.
I think so. Too fringe ball players.
Out of the dugout and everybody will be back to the theater, see
him. The only concern I have about

(49:51):
this movie, but it's probably going to work well, is just all
the supporting characters. Now we're hearing Pew, Florence
Pew, which she's great. I don't know why that would
bother me. But between her and The Punisher
and Banner and Ruffalo and, you know, all these different guys
that you're talking about for villains, just a little bit, I'm

(50:11):
just like, wow, they're really peppering this thing.
A lot of salt and pepper here. Is it too much seasoning?
Is there too much seasoning? Should we just let Spidey cook
on his own a little bit? You know I have an answer.
For you please please. And this is the.
Number one thing people are still getting wrong.
There is a number one thing going wrong here.
There's a #1 fundamental thing people are missing outside of

(50:35):
I'm not even counting Clayface because it's a low budget horror
body horror movie that James Gunn's already said besides The
Batman Part 2. And think about Superman with
this. OK, how?
Many. Solo comic book movies are
coming out where it's just the one hero.
No, they're not. Lobo and.

(50:56):
Momoa are in Supergirl like thatthat counts that counts as
another big thing Superman as much and and I'm waiting for a
response on Twitter. I I saw somebody say they're
comparing Superman to spider manbrand new day and they're saying
the other characters it's not the same as Superman.

(51:16):
I want to know what that means because the those, those those
other characters were heavily marketed.
That movie was marketed, dude. Everyone got a poster and those
other characters led to a lot ofstandout moments and most
memorable Mr. Terrific. Big take away, big, big
supporting storyline with Lois there a lot of Scream.

(51:39):
So dude, I think people are justinto that.
I think that's why they do it. Dude.
What other solo movie has just the hero besides the Batman Part
2? You're not getting that at all.
And then that'll be the test bonnet, the Superman and.
Supergirl, dude, they're going to put them together already, it
sounds like. Yeah, he's probably going.

(52:01):
To be in her movie anyway a little bit exactly so like you
oh you really got Supergirl crypto man let's be honest with
you so. Because it's a black.
Slop is drunk a lot. Of people is a black slop.
Elena. 'S big.
A lot of people like Elena. You got the Hulk, but also,
dude, they're setting up for these big movies.

(52:23):
And here's the other thing. If Gun's gonna make see, like,
you can't have this is where some of that.
And now you guys got me yapping about Superman again, people.
No, no, no. There's this thing going on
that. OK, Gun's world building.
He's old. OK, so Gun gets to do all this
stuff. Well, Marvel's already built
their world, right? So if you're gonna say, well,

(52:43):
metahumans are established in Superman, so all these DC
characters can pop up in any project.
OK, great. MCU New York has all these.
They've already done it. Right, they're in new.
York The the the the three characters they're putting in
this movie have been establishedof being in present day MCU New
York. And there's more.

(53:05):
You're lucky there's not more. So what I'm saying is it makes
sense. Yeah.
So why can't they all pop in? No, it's.
A freaking Avengers. Movie Elena's trying to put a
new team of Avengers together. She's going to visit Peter, you
know what I mean? Like it's just going to be a
thing I thought we wanted. Spider Man the animated.

(53:26):
Series, but it is my episodes with the X-Men Punisher there
was episodes with the X-Men withWolverine.
Exactly. We're all on the.
Fucking. Show I see you play some
Avengers on Twitter. I see you tweeting on all my
episodes. They they they were like they
were in the show, man, like, I don't know, like I get it.

(53:46):
Grounded would have would have been cool, but I don't know if
actually people at home want to just like want to just see
spider man the whole movie by himself.
They also have five of those. They have six of those.
They have seven of those already.
Do you know what I mean? So it's like it's so anyway, I'm
just along for the ride because I think they're cooking and they

(54:07):
might cook with some of these other characters.
Dude, it's that's fine. Well, listen him and the.
Punisher is cool. I mean, they're, you know, I
think they're sick. The the banner.
Thing bothers me a little bit. I don't know why the Hulk needs
to be in there, but I, I, I guess we'll see.
I, I'm not quite sure aren't you?
Don't. Don't you feel better though?
If he's like what the Hulk is, he's not Smart Hulk anymore.

(54:28):
Is that what in Hulk do you think?
Oh yeah, he's going back to Savage Hulk in this, apparently.
So that's cool. Yeah.
Yeah, I feel a little bit. About that, yeah, Tom plays well
with. Others too.
His spider man does. It's just what he does.
He. Raised on him.
Him and Berthal are going to be gold.
Together I can just tell him. Yeah, yeah.
He's going to take the edge off Bernthal a little bit, which is

(54:50):
good. Charlie Cox is in it, right?
I mean, how can he not be in it or or it?
No, I don't I. Don't I?
Did you see the leak? The rumor that John Bernthal is
in Secret Wars too? Really.
He might have some. Stock, I think I I, I think they
think he's better than Daredevilcoming out of Daredevil,
apparently Well, well, you know it's going to be the.

(55:11):
John Bernthal and Tom Hunt's Summer, because they're both in
the Odyssey that comes out before.
So them two are going to have some juice, man, together.
You know, they're they're in a lot of scenes together in that
Nolan movie. Just saying.
You know that chemistry is goingto be off the charts, man, I
tell you what. Somebody had video too, of
Holland with the kids. It's beautiful.
It's. I.

(55:33):
Get well up. He he's got a Once again, I
think that going back to Superman, the reverence of David
Shows playing Superman. Tom's been doing this for a
while. I kicked him around a lot.
I didn't really think he was great at it.
But he is really grown into. He is the Spider man for this
generation and the third generations to come.

(55:54):
He'll probably William Moore. He'll probably go down as the
world's biggest and longest, notbetter than Toby.
I'm still not going to say that. And I still think Garfield would
have had the chance to be as good as Toby had he been given
another couple movies. But Tom is going to wear the
ring, man. He's going to be the Spider Man
champion. Well, you know what's cool?

(56:15):
Is even all that aside, I mean, if you watch No Way Home, he is
really good at No Way Home. Sure he is.
He's really good in there. So if he delivers an amazing
Peter story in here again, at least I could say at the end of
the day that I think all three of them were pretty great.
They're all. Great.
That's what I'm looking. For to be able to say, because I

(56:36):
think you could say it already, but I'm excited for him in this
one because he is older. Yeah, as as an actor now.
How old is he? Is he is is he my age?
He's going to be pushing 30. Our age.
I think he's pushing. 30 At thispoint, how old is?
Tom Holland, 29 so he'll. Be 30 by next year.
Yes, he know. I'm looking to see that at his.

(56:57):
Age now. Even with No Way Home, he was
still like mid 20s filming that he's he's different.
Peter, he's he's an older actor and he's coming off, I will say
something. He is coming off a Nolan movie
and no one gets a lot out of you.
So I'm I'm I'm wondering if he if he has a new bag of tricks
coming out of the Nolan movie inthis thing, you're flexing them

(57:20):
chops. Now, boy, he is coming.
Off Nolan in here, so we'll see. It's it's just going to be such
a shame to see all that black goo coming on that new
beautiful, gorgeous suit. Nico, see, that's the.
Other rumors now is it in Doomsday?
Is it in secret? It might quite.
Literally be a brand new day. Oh, guys.

(57:42):
I'm excited for fucking Scorpion.
Hold on. Yeah, they're saying.
Scorpion, they're saying. There's some good.
Spidey villains in here too thatwe're going to get and and the
biggest one that has yet to be named and Tramel Tillman, Mr.
Miltrick from Severance got casttoday.
We still know who Sadie sings playing.
There's a lot of fun to come outof Spider Man Brand new Day.

(58:04):
You got a good cast. Man, a lot of people, a lot of
people in this movie, so. Yeah, and that's all she wrote
for today, boys. Wait real quick, do you guys?
Also hear the other quick rumor and then we'll get on out of
here. Apparently on August 27th,
there's some time around that there might be another round of
Avengers. I don't think that's.

(58:25):
True. I hope you think that that's
true. Are we, are we buying ourselves?
Let's do. Buy or sell here.
Let's sell. That because I think the chairs
thing they like it worked, but Idon't think isn't are they?
Going to announce the big three and you guys know who the big
three are with everybody else, are they?
Feeling the pressure are they feeling?
The pressure? No.

(58:46):
I think you'll have to wait for some of it.
So we are selling on Tom being announced in Doomsday.
OK, All right. That's interesting.
Mr. C, are you are you buying orselling these days?
What do you do? Wait, what do you?
Want me to buy or sell? I'm sorry, are you buying or?
Selling that we're going to get another round of Avengers

(59:06):
castings. One of no, I'm I'm.
I'm I'm I'm buying, I'm sure they're going to do that.
There's there's too many names that they didn't that didn't.
I'm pretty sure they're going tothere's going to be some hype
coming with this movie. You know, I still I was funny.
You're right. I I want to talk about this on a
podcast and we're going to go when I keep this on.
But I still felt like the Fantastic Four could have that

(59:29):
dead end credits scene could have been a little better.
Sure. And I think.
That how it could have been better is either they could have
just glanced where you couldn't really make out Downy's face,
but you could hear his voice, orthat he just takes Franklin and
leaves. I, I just think it was a week
after. I think it, I think it, I don't,

(59:50):
I'm not saying it would have helped the movie do better.
I think it could have helped to do a little bit better, But they
were so safe with that scene 'cause you know, there are a lot
of people that talk about how doomsday, there's no build up to
it and there really isn't. It's, this isn't like before.
So I am fascinated how they're going to do this.
I that's going to be great. I'm not saying that, but this is

(01:00:11):
unique here, guys. They're not building the
doomsday. It's just going to come.
Oh, it's just going to. Happen.
There's really. Nothing leading to it.
There's not. I really thought that Fantastic
Four, I thought there was going to be a little bit more in that
movie to to do it. But it is what it is.
It is what it is. You know what I mean?
Yeah. Yeah, we'll talk about my

(01:00:32):
thoughts on on the Doomsday leadup before, because I think I
actually think the whole mindsetthat there was no lead up is
like both true but also like nottrue.
But we'll we'll talk about that on on a whole different show
because I think a lot of the rules and with a lot of the
rumors of of how dooms going to get introduced it it basically

(01:00:54):
it's like everyone we've seen multiple incursions, we've seen
multiple characters deal with the multiverse movies, Dooms
upset at those specific people and you've seen those movies.
So but it will we'll talk about that.
Yeah, well. On a different day.
Zeddy very good. Yep.
Oh, it's it's the spider web of homework is as we say, you know,

(01:01:14):
it's the spider web of bringing it all together.
But yeah, no, that's actually probably a whole pockets in and
of itself. So look at that.
But no, yeah, that's a great wayto put a step on this one, guys.

trepidation towards it, somehow Gun always tries to write.

It might be a vulgar heart, but it it's somehow it's going to be
the new. Word Now that you're seeing a
vulgar. Heart A.
