Ripley's softball team bounced back to win another sectional championship. Infielder Kaitlyn Swisher talks about defeating Hurricane back-to-back in the finals. Viking baseball topped Parkersburg South 5-2 in Thursday's sectional action. Centerfielder Isaiah Casto made two pivotal throws to gun down Patriot runners at the plate. Ripley Middle's baseball team posted its second straight unbeaten season while repeating as conference champs. Coach Duke Gandee says there may be more to come, too. Several Ripley grads are extending their baseball careers as were hear from Remy Boyce. Ripley is sending numerous track & field runners to next week's state meet in Charleston.
