VIP Ignite E:296 How Mark Dickson Prioritized His Happiness

On this episode of the VIP Ignite podcast, your host Deneen White is excited to introduce you to Mark Dickson. Mark is a very talented man who has a great story. A student of communication and psychology, he wasn’t the best pupil in grade school. Being more creative than concrete he quickly lost interest in mathematics in all variations. Nonetheless, he managed to earn a bachelor in Communication from Old Dominion University and two scholarships toward graduate education.  About halfway through college, his family endowment ended. But having watched others before him struggle with student loan debt, he decided to pay for the rest of my education out of pocket which allowed him to become financially independent.  He always wanted to perform...his dream was to graduate high school and sing in the streets of New York until he was discovered. One day he woke up and had done it all... earned all respect from the bank, from his parents, from the department of education, from his love; but he still was not satisfied. This is when he realized he had forgotten to pay attention to my gifts. He'd spent all this time making everyone happy for him but was not completely happy with himself.
