Another mix for you. This one was done for Richard S. Boswell's "Silence and Light" exhibition at Magnet in San Francisco in 2012. The sounds used were inspired by Richard's paintings of the time. His painting has continued to evolve since this show, but to me these sounds still resonate with his work. I took some liberties with "edits" on this mix, as well....to enhance the ethereal. The image attached is by the artist, and if memory serves was one of the images in the show. It's the only piece of his early work I have digitally, so I'm hoping the time period is accurate. Here's a link to his current work: www.richard-s-boswell.com Tracklist: Pan American - Lights on Water The Album Leaf - Wishful Thinking Aphex Twin - LIchen Cocteau Twins & Harold Budd - The Ghost Has No Home Loscil - Lake Orchard A Winged Victory for the Sullen - A Symphony Pathetique (Montauk in February Remix) Aarktika - Big Year July Skies - Garden Constellations Landing - Introduction to Clouds The Remote Viewer - We Found Sound Savath & Savalas - Transportation Theme Grouper - Alien Observer Port-Royal - Flares Pt. 3 Hammock - This Kind of Life Keeps Breaking Your Heart Neu! - Seeland (pds edit) Aarktika - Ocean (pds edit) Seefeel - Charlotte's Mouth (Avant Garde Mix) (pds edit) Rothko & Four Tet - River's Become Oceans (pds edit) The Boats - Mum and Dad Slowdive - Blue Skied an' Clear Library Tapes - The Rivers Turned to Cobblestone (pds edit) Max Richter - Sunlight Calder - Tone Pieter Nooten & Michael Brook - Instrumental Deaf Center - Fiction Dawn Stars of the Lid - Low Level (Listening), Part 1 (pds edit)
