This was one of the most difficult, and hardest episodes I have ever had to do in the 6 and 1/2 years of doing this show. This show was dedicated to the memory of Drew Myers. Stories were told, memories shared, and it's something I wasn't prepared for.

memory of Drew Myers. For those of you who don't
know Drew Myers is he was a professional wrestler post badly.
He passed away this past Monday. His wife, Rebecca, who's
also a professional wrestler, had been posting daily updates of

when he from the time he went into the hospital
up until the time I'm of his unfortunate passing, and
of course, uh, the ultimate honor of being, you know,
given an otter walk because you're an organ downer. I

was hoping to have some people come onto the show.
My Facebook messenger, I think is a little messed up,
So I'm going to start the phone here. Personally, I
(01:39):
didn't know Drew. I only knew of him from the
the things that his wife had posted on Facebook, especially
over the course of the last two weeks or so.

He fought it. You know, whatever you know what he had,
and unfortunately he succumbed to it. So, I mean, I'm
not really good at things like this. His wife. I
gave his wife, Rebecca my phone number so she could

share it and call call in with stories about you know, Drew.

helped save a life for someone by being an organ
downer and somebody got one of his organs, which is

of stories do you have to share about?

Well? I met a Fantasy and Christy Lord at a
little rustling promotion in Realm, Georgia. And Fantasy had just
had a something medical happened, and we get a benefit
show for and I met Drew there with her, and
I tell you what, that boy he loved, Oh God,
the way he looked at her. It's the way that

it gave me and my now husband hope, you know,
to what we could be one day. And marriage just
fill ups and downs, and they've they've went through it
all and they their love was beautiful.
Speaker 1 (17:29):
It's absolutely beautiful. It's like it's timeless.
Speaker 2 (17:32):
And that's you know, that gives us hope for all
us married couples out there to have that kind of
love that she saw were between them.
Speaker 1 (17:41):
So he was. So they were married for what twenty
two twenty three years something like that. Yeah, And so
that's how you met Drew. And what is one of
that What is one of the funniest, funniest things that
you've ever done that you can remember?
Speaker 2 (18:03):
They had a cage match in August twenty twenty and
Drew was the red that the girls were putting a
heart on somebody and that the faces he was making and.
Speaker 6 (18:16):
I actually said those pictures to Christie.
Speaker 2 (18:18):
So she could have them, and some of the film
it was just he was so expressive in his face
that he was just like, oh, have you know it
was It was just wonderful that that whole experience and
watching him not only the way he looks at her
and experiencing that, but I got to see him in
the ring in a pink cage, watching his girl and

Christy take on these other two girls.

In the ring, and man, it was it was something special.

It was one of those one of those matches and
one of those moments in life that you're gonna remember.
And he made I mean, the girls were doing an
amazing job, but his expressions on his face were just priceless.

It was awesome, But yeah, I just wanted to call
in and share that, send my support and my love,
and I look forward to what we can do for
Drew in the future and his memory and continue to
support Rebecca in this time.
