in spiritual Psychology. She does travel when she can the
world with her ACIM teacher husband, Gary Renard, introducing the
teachings of a Course in Miracles to many countries and people.
Speaker 2 (04:20):
Cindy is also an.
Speaker 7 (04:21):
Accomplished singer songwriter, using her knowledge of a Course of
Miracles in psychology as healing tools to help others awaken
to the higher octaves of life. I love that Cindy
is also the author of four books, a course in
Health and Wellbeing, the Business of Forgiveness, Heaven is now
in a spiritual coupling, a guide bank book for experiencing
(04:44):
in a holy relationship.
Speaker 2 (04:46):
I think my mouth needs healing.
Speaker 7 (04:48):
But anyway, with that, welcome back to World Awakening, Cindy.
Speaker 3 (04:52):
Thank Carl. I'm so happy ever get to speak again
and talk about what we love, A course of miracles,
the things.
Speaker 7 (05:00):
But yes, thank you, yeah, and you know I am
grateful and we're going to talk about this in a moment.
Cindy's having some challenges here and it's a challenge for
her to be here. But you know, Cindy, you want
on episode number nine. Then you came back on episode
thirty four, and then you and your husband Gary Renard
appeared together on episode forty eight, and finally, about a
(05:21):
year ago, on episode one forty nine, you appeared with
your sister Jackie Laura Jones and heck, now you even
have your own YouTube channel.
Speaker 2 (05:30):
Can you tell us about that?
Speaker 3 (05:33):
Yeah, I started this channel was last year around you know,
I'd say early fall last year. Started the channel. I
did about so far, about six videos. I've had to
delay it a little bit, you know, doing some things
(05:53):
on YouTube, but I have I keep the videos usually
know more than about forty minutes. That could be anywhere
from ten minute little kind of mini talks to forty
minutes to you know, it could be even a little longer.
But yeah, I decided to start the channels. I could
(06:14):
talk about different themes in a course in miracles, but
also use it as a platform to talk about things
that come up in the world, but relate it to
the course. In other words, how can we look at
you know, worldly events or things that happen in our
personal lives that we maybe don't expect, challenges that might
(06:37):
come up. But how then, if you're a course student,
how can we work with that at the mind level,
but also not neglecting and denying what's going on at
the world level or with with your own personal, you know, situation.
(06:58):
It's really important to address things that come up, whether
it's in your personal life or whatever's going on in
the world. If it's something concerning to you, something challenging,
which we all have challenges from time to time, but
how can we work with it, how do we navigate
through it? How do we so I use I'm using
the YouTube platform to bring everything to the course's perspective
(07:22):
to a course of miracles perspective on how you know,
we can change your mind about things no matter what
is going on. And I felt it would just be
a great platform to be able to share what I love,
you know, and I do love a Course of Miracles.
I've been teaching it for gosh, it's almost feels like
twenty twenty years almost now, maybe eighteen years or something
like that, or and I've been not I'm not only
(07:45):
a teacher, but I'm a student of it, you know,
I want to be clear that, you know, I'm always
a student of the Holy Spirit. I just happen to
also be teaching it. But I'm also a student. Yeah,
I'm things that come up just like anyone else. I
can have my challenges, and you know, we can get
into that if we want.
Speaker 7 (08:04):
But yeah, and you know you're you don't have that
many videos on there at the moment, like you said,
but they're well watched. And I will put a link
to that YouTube channel when the show notes so people
can access it immediately. And you know, talking about things
going on in the world. I mean, you and Gary
live in Los Angeles, California, with all of the crazy
(08:26):
things that have happened in La over the last few
months and years. Have you two been able to stay
safe out of the craziness.
Speaker 3 (08:34):
Yeah. Yeah. I would like to say, in my mind,
my true safety lies in God, you know, in other words,
my trust and faith that I have and the strength
you know within me that with God, all things are possible. Now,
this doesn't mean that that we don't gary and I
(08:56):
don't do the normal thing, like for example, when the
fire were this past January completely wiped out with the
Pacific Palisades and Malibu coasts, some of the Malibu coast line.
You know, we one night had to evacuate ourselves because
there was a fire close to us in the Hollywood Hills.
(09:17):
We had to evacuate one night, and I didn't for
one second feel unsafe for some reason, I even though
I want to, you know, be well right, you want
to take I want to take care of myself, and
I'll do the normal thing like everyone else that we're
(09:39):
supposed to evacuate, you evacuate. But those kind of things,
I don't worry as much about those kind of things
because I know I'm going to be where I'm meant
to be. But it doesn't mean I'm not gonna you know,
get the you know blank out of there. If I'm
(09:59):
you know, there's sort of danger looking around the corner,
of course I'm going to do that. We're going to
So that's why we did. We evacuated because that was
the smart thing to do, you know. And but we've
been we've managed. I think where we live, we live
in an area where even when there's massive rains or flooding,
we're just not in the areas of the floods or
(10:22):
the mudslides or even the fires were never really you know,
that close because we live on a We don't live
in the canyons or in the mountains where they often
you know, where the fires usually are. We're a little
bit we're more in the city a little bit, so
the fires don't and things don't come to the city.
But what we do notice is the smoke, and that's
(10:45):
just as you know, that's not that's not a pleasant
thing to experience. So we have to you know, really
be mindful of that and how our in our air quality,
you know, in our breathing, and how we're making sure
that we're you know, doing things that are good for us.
For sure, and we're very mindful of those things, but
(11:07):
we're fortunately we haven't been directly like affected. Although I
don't know, maybe the smoke and some of the you know,
some of the toxic chemicals and the smoke that got
to me, I think a little bit, and that could
be part of some things that I'm experiencing.
Speaker 7 (11:25):
Well, I want to talk about that, but we do.
We have some pretty good angelic guides.
Speaker 3 (11:31):
So yeah, we do, we all do.
Speaker 7 (11:33):
Yeah, let's find out you know, Cindy, you know, we're
talking about challenges here, and she definitely has something going on.
Speaker 2 (11:41):
If you want to.
Speaker 7 (11:42):
Talk about this and maybe we can, uh, you know,
just find out more.
Speaker 3 (11:49):
Yeah. Yeah, Well, I'm still figuring things out. I'm doing
some testing. Yeah, I've had a lot of uncomfortableness and
soreness in the body all over, but it's really I've
done some By the way, part of the reason I
wanted to talk about this is because I know lots
of people go through similar things. I'm look, I'm I'm
(12:12):
no different than anyone else just because I'm a teacher
of a course of mirbor girls or whatever. I'm you know,
I'm experiencing myself just like everyone else. Experiencing myself as
a human being, even though we know from the chorus
we're really spirit and but so yeah, I just started
with tendonitis. Yeah, and the left arm, and then I
(12:35):
got frozen shoulder, and then I got a frozen left
hand projectally where my fingers became stiff, so there's stiff.
Then I got right arm tendonitis. Wow, because it was
over partly because I think I've been over compensating for
so much of not being able to use the left
arm very much. My right arm started to get really sore,
(12:58):
and it's very hard for me to do daily tasks
right now on my own. And so then I started
noticing my lower legs in between, like the knee area
and the ankles are very sore. Even in my feet
it can get a little sore. So some people are like, well,
(13:20):
do you think it's rheumatory arthritis. Well, you know, I'm
starting to do all the testing. I did a test
for that that came out negative, but I did a
couple other tests just for other kinds of things that
came out negative. But I haven't done a couple there's
still more testing. I think that needs to be done.
And my guess is this is could be something neurological,
(13:42):
nothing life threatening. I really truly don't think that, but
I think it's just something that's moving through my system.
It almost feels like there could have been an initial
even viral component to this that I don't feel is
there anymore, but I think that could have jump started
some of this. But anyway, I'm still figuring it out.
(14:04):
So and I don't mind sharing all this because I
actually believe, you know, when you share things, you're you
I know, when other people have shared things with me,
but they go through it, you know, sometimes it can
really be helpful to others who might be going through
something similar, you know, or so it's you know, and
(14:24):
it can be helpful to share. And I believe there's
a blessing and everything, and that's the important part that
I am also very aware of that there's a reason
for everything, and I think something wonderful could come out
of all this, whatever happens. I really do believe that
(14:47):
at my core. So even though it's really uncomfortable right now,
sometimes really can be uncomfortable. And I'm still figuring out
and maybe going to get a diagnosis of something or
I don't know. I mean I'm just throwing things out there.
But I again, I don't feel in my heart and
in my everything is telling me that, oh, you're gonna
(15:09):
you're gonna move through this, you know, and you know,
and it's it's going to be a blessing in many ways.
That's what I feel.
Speaker 2 (15:19):
Yeah, And I like it.
Speaker 7 (15:20):
And you know, sometimes when when I go I've had
a few niggling things bothering me over the last couple
of years in and I always go back and I
always hear Holy Spirit saying to me, all as well,
all as well, all well, and I repeat that, and
it really really does help me.
Speaker 2 (15:39):
Now.
Speaker 7 (15:39):
You, of course, your very first book that you wrote
a course in health and well being. On page one
of your book you quote the course which says, when
the ego tempts you to sickness, do not ask the
Holy Spirit to heal the body, for this would merely
be to accept the egos belief that the body is
the proper aim of healing. Ask rather that the Holy
(16:00):
Spirit teach you the right perception of the body, for
perception alone can be distorted. Only perception can be sick,
because only perception can be wrong.
Speaker 2 (16:11):
How does this fit into what.
Speaker 7 (16:12):
You're going through now and anyone else who's experiencing sickness
or injuries.
Speaker 3 (16:17):
Yeah, the good thing is that that's that's like the foundation.
So in other words, I keep that as the foundation
in my mind no matter what is going on in
my body, My foundation is I remain as God created me.
I still am in spirit. Actually right now, you know,
I'm dreaming that all this up. I'm dreaming. I have
(16:37):
these symptoms. You know, I'm dreaming all of it, you know,
But I also know there's a reason, there's a purpose
I can use it for now. It doesn't mean now
that's that's the metaphysical level. That's the level of truth,
the level of truth that healing is of the mind.
(16:59):
That's level one. And of course, in mikrels meaning, that's
the when Jesus is in the course is talking about
the right perception of the body. He's saying, there's really
nothing outside of us, including the body. Back to even says,
and I write this in my book, you know, the
body's outside of us and not our concern. You know,
(17:21):
at no single instant does the body exist at all.
So what I do and I've been doing with my
practice is remembering that even while I'm feeling what I'm feeling,
I just have that as always, I come back to
that in my mind and and just ask the Holy
Spirit for help and the conditions that have brought right
(17:43):
this about. He's saying, don't ask me to just you know,
I'm heal your you know, your arm, heal your leg,
heal your you know. Let's let's go. Let's be honest
with me. Bring all your fears or anxieties to me,
or ever anything you're experiencing to me. Let's look at
it together from above the battle ground one of my
song titles, by the way, which may we may get to,
(18:06):
but anyway, I go above the battle ground. This is
my mind practice and practice, just looking at everything with
Him or the Holy Spirit and just trying to do
my best to stay in a very neutral perspective. So
that way, I'm the way of reminding myself that the
(18:29):
body is not me and has nothing to do with me,
nothing to do with what I am, But I am
experiencing myself and a body. So level two and the
course means this is the worldly level where the course
talks about we don't deny though our worldly experience, we
(18:51):
don't deny what we're experiencing. That would be an unworthy
form of denial because if we just pretend we're somewhere
where we're not or we feel like super great, when
we really don't, we're skipping steps. We're not really looking
at what might need to be addressed or looked at.
(19:15):
So and that what that means is we can get
guidance and inspiration from the Holy Spirit and decide in
our minds what we want to be well. But sometimes
that means well things will show up then in our
lives as symbols or reflections. Let's say, ah, well, maybe
this will help you go to this doctor or go
(19:36):
to see this person. Because we don't want to neglect
the body. That's not what the course is teaching. It
doesn't say neglect the world or neglect the body and
pretend that you're not going through something that wouldn't be
helpful or loving. So what I'm doing is I'm doing both.
I'm addressing. I go to the mind, and I always
(19:58):
include forgiveness my practice true forgiveness. But I also go
to doctors when I need to, Like right now, I
need to go to doctors because it's helpful. I need
to address the symptomology at at this level as well
or else it wouldn't feel very good to to not
(20:21):
do that, and it wouldn't feel very loving to just, yea,
not address something that could actually be very helpful and helping.
Then yeah, bring about true healing. So we don't want
to neglect that. So I think that was the one
thing I really wanted to bring up. The two levels,
you know, the world level and then there is the course,
(20:41):
the level of truth and reality. But yeah, we don't
want to deny for you know, someone has a symptom
right and you go, what if you know, what if
that turned out to be cancer? But do you want
to just stand by and go? But I'm not really
a body. I'm just going to let this take over.
My body's not going to do anything. That's my point
is that, you know, why wouldn't you go to the
(21:02):
doctor and take care of yourself, you know, no matter
what it is right going on. So, I mean, everybody's different,
but that would be my we what.
Speaker 2 (21:12):
I love here is here.
Speaker 7 (21:14):
You know, we almost didn't even do this because you're
not feeling up to par, and yet this beautiful knowledge
and wisdom from the courses flowing through you and helping
the people watching and listening healing themselves. So as we know,
as we give, we receive, So you know, the listeners
(21:35):
are sending back healing to you too. I'm sure you're
going to have thousands of people praying and sending you
loving energy just from seeing and hearing about you here
with this.
Speaker 3 (21:46):
Oh well, that's a wonderful thought to think about. Yeah,
I'll take Kate, Hey, I'll take any healing thoughts because
all minds are joined, and when we do that for
each other, and we do that for each other, that's very,
very powerful, more powerful than we can ever imagine, because
we're only one mind. Yeah, I mean, I mean, we
(22:08):
really are, truly. I know we've all heard this many times,
but it's a fact. We are one mind. So when
we extend our love to others, it's coming right back
to us. And that's a very important point in the course,
is that you know, we're all the same We're share
(22:30):
the same mind.
Speaker 2 (22:32):
You know.
Speaker 7 (22:32):
And I find this it is very true because I'm
actually the administrator facilitator of very large Power of Aid
Healing group on Facebook with over almost twenty two hundred
people from around the world, and we come together in
groups of eight or more on zoom or virtual whatever
(22:54):
video we have, and we focus healing on a person,
place of thing, and we've seen miraculous healing and we
do that. It really does work. So maybe I'll throw
you in the in the next one.
Speaker 2 (23:05):
So the next throw me in the mix.
Speaker 3 (23:07):
I'm all game for that, why not, right, I'm all
I'm all game for that. I mean, you know, there
was a time when I this is really kind of funny.
You know, there was a time when like, right now
you're seeing me raw. I'm just raw, right raw. But
(23:30):
there was a time when I was making image very important.
There was a time when I was doing that more
and what you know, and I'm learning so much through
a lot of this experience that, like, I'll just give
a kind of funny example. I always wear women might
relate to this, but I always wear makeup when I'm
(23:50):
going to appear on an interview or on a webinar
or on whatever. If I'm just gonna be hearing from people,
I've always that, well, no I need, I'm going to
put makeup on, and I'm gonna you know, you know, well,
part of that is because you know, I don't mind
i'd like to. I don't mind it, you know. And
also it's just for camera. It's kind of like, oh,
(24:11):
I like to be camera ready, right, or make up on,
but I don't have like an ounce of makeup on.
And I'm doing this interview. And I was kind of
laughing to myself, going, Okay, that's some progress. Now I
don't have to put on makeup to do an interview,
or I don't have to you know, who cares? I really,
but there was a time when I would have thought that,
(24:31):
and I really have moved past that a lot of
that image thing, like oh I have to you know,
I don't know, eyeshadow on, put some blush on, put
some I'm not saying I would never do that again,
don't get me wrong, but it's just I'm just making
a point that, you know what, who cares?
Speaker 8 (24:52):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (24:53):
You know what I mean?
Speaker 3 (24:54):
Who cares? It's just an image? Yeah. So I'm just
sharing some of my funny kind of things.
Speaker 7 (25:00):
That makes me feel any better. I didn't put any
makeup on, honey.
Speaker 3 (25:04):
Yeh, Well, I expected you would have had makeup on,
but you know what, Okay, you didn't put on that
blashed it? Well okay, but I'm taking a funny point
that I really thought that. I really was like, no,
I need to have you know, you know, put on
makeups and camera ready. But you know what, I I
just kind of let that go. It's not going who cares. Well,
(25:24):
I don't think anyone cares either, So it doesn't matter.
It's really really.
Speaker 2 (25:29):
Hasn't diminished in you is your musical ability.
Speaker 7 (25:32):
So let let's find out now, because you know you
you are an accomplished musician, uh and talent and so
you you've recorded a couple of new tunes and I
know you have a few albums out, and let's find
out about.
Speaker 2 (25:49):
This new one.
Speaker 8 (25:49):
Up.
Speaker 7 (25:49):
There's a song we're going to play here, one of
your new ones, called Above the Battleground. Can you tell
us give us some background on this song and how
it came about.
Speaker 3 (26:00):
Yeah, above the Battleground. Well, one of my key go
to phrases in a course in Miracles is there's a
section in the course called above the Battleground. And I
love that section so much and what it represents about
being above the battleground inspire me to write a song
called that because I wanted to write a song that
(26:25):
spoke to the idea that we're always of the light
and in the light, no matter what is going on,
that we come from the light, you know, from you know, Heaven,
from God, from reality. And I thought, you know, being
above the backleground, you know what it means that we're
not being really attached to this identity that we think
(26:48):
we are, the body, We're not really attached to. What
we're doing is being above the battleground, is being sort
of in a neutral place, but being in a state
of trust, in a state of non judgment, looking with
the Holy Spirit. So I kind of I wanted to
write a song that just brought up some of those
ideas and but put it to music. So I just
(27:14):
decided to do that. And the songs I've been writing
lately have been songs that have been speaking to the
idea that we are empowered, way more empowered than we
think we are. And most of my most of my music,
i'd say represents those kinds of ideas of you know,
(27:35):
remembering that we really do have the power to choose
and to choose how we're thinking of things, are thinking
of ourselves and the world, and that we can rise
up above any difficulty, you know, with assistance and help
if we need it from the Holy Spirit. So anyway
(27:56):
that was my inspiration is just I love that part
of the course. I wanted to put music to it.
Speaker 2 (28:02):
Well, let's do that right now.
Speaker 7 (28:03):
Let's go into and we're gonna listen to uh send
me Laura Renard on a beautiful tune called above the Battleground.
Speaker 2 (28:12):
Right here on world Awakenings.
Speaker 4 (28:27):
I can see a light, I can see all wings
take flight.
Speaker 9 (28:40):
You don't have to prove that you have got inside
to tune. There's a boos inside.
Speaker 3 (28:56):
To mine.
Speaker 8 (28:59):
The call to joy that leads to life. Don't need
to add lies.
Speaker 5 (29:12):
Just walking glory, glory with your head held high.
Speaker 8 (29:19):
We don't have to be so perfect perfect. We are
love and conditionally unconditional. We don't have to be so
perfect perfect.
Speaker 5 (29:39):
Sunny skies, Yeah, starry nights.
Speaker 8 (29:46):
Keeps my high above the battle ground. Dancing world.
Speaker 3 (29:55):
Under full moonlight.
Speaker 8 (29:59):
Lives my high above the battle ground. Violence and greed
(30:19):
is the stuff of dreams.
Speaker 10 (30:23):
Nothing in this world is water.
Speaker 5 (30:27):
Scene beyond all right and wrong is a song of love.
We may have forgotten the noes, but it's been with
us all A long separation is just doun allusion illusion
(30:49):
we are love and conditionally, unconditionally, we don't have to
be so perfect perfect suns guys, starry night, Oh keeps
(31:10):
the high.
Speaker 8 (31:13):
Above the battle ground, dancing yard.
Speaker 3 (31:19):
On befure moonlight.
Speaker 8 (31:23):
Lives not high.
Speaker 11 (31:26):
Above the battle ground.
Speaker 8 (31:29):
Heavenly angels are standing by. Think of the stilly day
turns to night.
Speaker 10 (31:35):
The shadows of the dreams that are real to your
mind are nothing more than images you're made to hide.
All of your glory will be rever and everything the
third will come both to you. Never stop leaves, not
until you find, for when you find, you'll see you've
already arrived.
Speaker 2 (32:08):
All right.
Speaker 7 (32:09):
That was the beautiful tune from Cindy Laura Renard above
the Battleground Now, Cindy, I really love the production and
a top notch production. I'm curious who is doing the
background vocals on it is beautiful? Oh.
Speaker 3 (32:23):
I do all my own backup vocals, all my own
harmonies and all the backup vocals I do. I do, yeah,
every vocal. It's all you, all me on all my songs.
Speaker 2 (32:36):
Oh wow.
Speaker 7 (32:37):
So but you go into a recording studio in they're
in LA and have somebody mix it for you.
Speaker 3 (32:43):
In everything I do I have this this man, Dave Chamberlain.
Shout out to Dave Chamberlain. He's a great engineer in
Woodland Hills and dBW Studios by the way, if anyone
lives in LA and wants to go to him dBW Studio, DBWT, come,
I believe and uh he is just I've been working
(33:04):
with him for you. I've been working with him for
almost thirty years. Twenty i'd say least twenty five years.
Speaker 2 (33:10):
Well you know each other.
Speaker 3 (33:11):
Well, then, oh, you know each other and you know
and yeah, so I do. I go in there and
these songs you're hearing, by the way, and are I
haven't put out really publicly yet. So these are, like
I was wondering, I said, these are my songs, but
they're sort of I'm playing them as sort of like
(33:31):
teasers and samplers right now for when I they're released
at another time. So but they're they're that. But I
wanted to, you know, I wanted to play them because
so it's such a big part of what I do
and who I am as far as music is in
my soul. So and I love sharing teachings through music
as well.
Speaker 11 (33:52):
Well.
Speaker 7 (33:52):
We've got another tune of hers coming up in a
in a couple of minutes here, and we're going to
check that out again too. Just back for a moment too.
You know, all the things that you're going through, and
so many people do, you know. The course clearly states,
and I say this a lot to myself. I am
not a body. I am free, I am still as
(34:12):
God created me. Why is this so hard for those
of us dreaming that we're in a human body is
to understand and practice?
Speaker 2 (34:21):
Why is it so darn hard.
Speaker 3 (34:23):
To be in the body in practice? Yeah? Yeah, because
there's so much resistance in the mind. Guilt, Yeah, guilt
that we don't we don't understand that guilt. Of course,
in Miracles teaches this. Of all the causes we think
(34:44):
is the cause of our problems, everything we could possibly
come up with, guilt is never among them. And when
he's talking Jesus and the course is talking about guilt,
he's talking about the guilt that comes from the belief
that we separated from God, that we've truly separated, which
we really haven't. But there's an underlying belief that we've
(35:06):
sinned the ultimate right, the great sin that we sin
against God, you know, And sin is really the idea
of separation. But it's so there's resistance in the mind
to returning to the mind because that in the mind
is where this all appeared to start in the first place,
(35:29):
and where we think if we go back to the mind,
to the ego, the ego's viewpoint, which is one part
of the mind, if we go back to the mind
and choose another answer, the Holy Spirit that says there's
another way to look at this, that reminds us that, oh,
of our reality and God, and the ego does not
(35:50):
want us to remember that because it wants to maintain
its special individual self. So it means the end of
the ego when we choose the light or the Holy Spirit,
or choose to be well. Because if we're well, or
we're choosing the light and remembering who we are, what
does that mean for the ego? It's gone. And that's
(36:10):
why there's so much resistance to feeling like, you know,
we don't want to write, even maybe unconsciously, get well,
you know, or because that means we have responsibility to
ourselves and others. If we're as God created us, that
means we're not a victim anymore. We don't get to
play a victim. That's a really important point.
Speaker 7 (36:32):
You know, and it's just so good to hear those
words from you. It makes me feel peacefuill know that
we have that choice. And I'd say that is one
of the biggest things in my life being a student
of the AC I m for the last twenty three
years is I find more peace and comfort when things
(36:57):
are challenging.
Speaker 2 (36:58):
So thank you for that, Cindy.
Speaker 3 (37:00):
Oh yeah, I'm just stating what Yeah, just stating what
the course is teaching us. And it's very important for
all of us to remember how worthy we are, how
we are worth a consistent effort. It takes to work
on ourselves to do whatever you feel you need to
(37:22):
do to you know, be that power that you are
be that's God created you. And it doesn't mean again,
I just want to bring this up one more time.
It doesn't mean we neglect the body. That's an unworthy
We're not being asked to neglect the body or do
things or take things or we need to take them
to make us feel better or the mind needs that
(37:44):
sometimes with a combination approach to healing, you know, it's
not just I'm gonna forget about the body completely. So
we want to remember though that at the mind level, well,
we do, though have a choice in how we choose
to think about ourselves in the body and what's happening.
(38:06):
We have that power. We can think with the teacher
that we call the Holy Spirit, or we can think
that with the teacher of the ego, which would bring
about a whole different experience. You can bring out, bring
about more more, more pain, you know, more worry, doubt, fear,
those kinds of emotions and anxieties and things like that.
(38:26):
And sometimes we do choose the ego, and you know what,
it's okay. Just know it's okay because there's always opportunities
to remind yourself of the truth of who you are,
of what you are, and of your foundation to God,
to Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit does not keep score, not
(38:47):
judging you know you based on what you're doing in
the world or what's happening to your body in the
world or what. Now, there's no case there. You just
seize your innocence.
Speaker 11 (38:58):
You know.
Speaker 7 (38:58):
The other day I had some I actually don't even
remember what it was. I had some challenge going on
in my life and I just it was just like
it came over. The answer came over me like a
warm blanket. You're a carl. You're exactly where you're supposed
to be, right here, right now, on this journey. And
I go, Okay, I can handle that. I can accept that.
Speaker 3 (39:22):
As a very good point. We're always that's the thing.
Nothing happens randomly or by chance. Yeah, that way. So
everything has purpose to it, and we can use every
challenge for a different purpose if we choose to. Yeah,
it doesn't mean it's always easy. I'm not. Look, I'm
(39:43):
this hasn't been easy for me. I've been protesting the
course for a long time. But this what I'm feeling,
the symptomology I'm feeling, is not easy. So and I'm
not So. I'm not saying this is always going to
be people's paths or are always going to be easy
when we practice forgiveness or you know, but it's certainly
(40:08):
helpful to remember that. Look, everyone is. You know, you're
where you are, and it's okay. You're where you are
for a reason. We can't see the bigger picture. We
can trust that or where we are. How do we
know what blessings are coming out of an experience? We
don't even know what's around the corner. It could becoming
of what we're experiencing, what we're learning, what lessons we're learning,
(40:30):
and all of that. I mean, I can say this
even though I'm going through some painful things, but I
can still say that, and I can still know that
in my mind. But and then, but I need to
I need to work my process and go and do
what I feel like I need to do on this
level too, to take care of myself.
Speaker 7 (40:50):
Well, we are speaking to the amazing Cindy Laura Ronard.
We are so blessed to have her on the show
again for the fourth time.
Speaker 2 (40:58):
I love it.
Speaker 7 (40:58):
I love you, Cindy amazing. Let's take another musical break
and we're gonna listen to one more tune that Cindy
wrote and performed. This is called Colors of the Rainbow.
Can you tell us about this song?
Speaker 3 (41:16):
Yeah, this song was just like the other song a
lot of my songs lately, but was down just kind
of came to me as a download the title the
Colors of the Rainbow. I dreamt a lot of the
melody and some of the lyrics I would get up.
This is very funny. I mean, this is what happens
(41:36):
to me. I would get up. I would hear a
melody and I get up and I record it into
my phone right away, and all of a sudden, lyrics
would come. And I just sit there, like three in
the morning, and I just record the lyric. I jump
back into bed, and my mind would not stop churning.
I would just keep getting more ideas and melodies and lyrics,
and I kept the song kept going. It's almost like
I wrote the whole song within a day or two,
(41:59):
or even an evening. Sometimes it's in the middle of
the night. A lot of it will come in the
next day. I'll finish it. Or I dreamed them a
lot of them lately, and so it was inspired. That
means it's inspired. I'm getting I'm getting downloads I call them.
And I decided to write this one about when we
(42:21):
go through a challenge, right, we can always remember, we
can there's always we can always remember who we really are,
a similar theme to Above the Battleground. But we can
remember that you're not really your body, that you are everything,
You're all of it. That's what the colors of the
(42:42):
rainbow and the song represent. Kind of like you're everything,
You're all of it. There's no beginning and no end. Well,
you shine, you shine, and everybody shines in this powerful light.
That's what the song represents.
Speaker 7 (42:54):
And let's listen to this beautiful song right now by
Cindy Laura Renard Colors of the Rainbow.
Speaker 8 (43:16):
Love is more than just an emenated far beyond the
bodies eyes can see. I've made mistakes, but I learned
along way that picture's fade and the beauty of truth
(43:39):
from made fair keeps the dark bad Well angels, Guy
me above the bed. Stay when I'm down on the ground.
Speaker 11 (43:58):
I know it's at the end at.
Speaker 8 (44:01):
All, taking the time till I win. So what was
lost can now be found. A new beginning will arive,
and I'll stand up and say with pride, this is me,
the colors of the rainbow, no beginning and no end.
Speaker 3 (44:25):
I'll give you everything.
Speaker 8 (44:28):
I am, shades of gray, the pain and different pat
but it's not me, for I'm forgiving.
Speaker 3 (44:40):
So I'll be free here. I stay.
Speaker 11 (44:45):
And open heart and open hands, shining light through the dark.
Speaker 8 (44:52):
I'll be the rainbow in your cloud. This is me,
the colors the rainbow. When you're long, still be the
lighthouse in your dream. Lazy days may tempt me to
(45:16):
rave all the memories of life that played like a
love song to.
Speaker 2 (45:24):
Keep me sane.
Speaker 8 (45:26):
When I'm down on my knees and it bels like
a one way street up to round and the mind
and I get that come up, be a new beginning
will rise. I'll stand up and say with pride, this
(45:47):
is me. The colors are the rainbow, no beginning and
no end. I'll give you everything I am. It's a
grass pain and dive and perch, but it's not you
(46:09):
for forgivings. All the train stay.
Speaker 11 (46:16):
And open heart and open hands, shining light through the dark.
Speaker 8 (46:23):
I'll be the rainbow in your cow. This is me,
the colors of the rainbow. When you're long stelly, the
lighthouse in your dream now is a beautiful wold. Everything
(46:50):
is gonna be all right, So let it in your
heart as you set.
Speaker 3 (47:00):
This is me me the car, These are.
Speaker 8 (47:03):
The vein ball.
Speaker 3 (47:06):
Get thiss me me the car. These are the vein.
Speaker 8 (47:13):
This does me me the car, These are the vain.
Speaker 2 (47:22):
Look all right.
Speaker 7 (47:37):

traveling the world, not as much as he used to
doing live shows. Now when you finally feel up to you,
you think you'll get back out and travel to some
live workshops with him.
Speaker 3 (49:39):
Yeah, I think that that's going to happen once I
moved through what I'm moving through right now, once I
move through this process which I've completely turned over to
the Holy Spirit, once I feel I'm ready and the
time is right, I absolutely see myself doing two very
(49:59):
crew eight of an interesting things, including speaking I'll I
mean more more in public again. So yeah, absolutely I
see a lot of things ahead, a lot of possibilities
music possibilities too, and.
Speaker 7 (50:13):
I encourage people that Gosh, back in twenty twenty one,
I saw that you guys were going to be in
San Antonio, Texas, and I just said, I got to
go to this. So it was so much fun you.
The workshop was great and it was a beautiful time.
And it would be lovely to see you back out
there with Gary doing these live shows, live workshops, I
(50:35):
should say, and.
Speaker 2 (50:35):
Yeah, and maybe you'll sing at them too.
Speaker 3 (50:38):
Oh I love singing, so you can be sure that
would be yeah. I would definitely include music. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (50:44):
Well, Cindy, you get healed up.
Speaker 7 (50:46):
We need you. You know, as my personal mantras, injury
and illness are not an option.
Speaker 2 (50:51):
You just have to repeat that thousands of times.
Speaker 7 (50:54):
I've only been saying it for twenty five years and
it seems to work pretty well. But let's get you going.
And like I said, the people who watch and listen
to this are going to be sending you a lot
of powerful healing energy.
Speaker 3 (51:07):
I accept it. I accept it. Thank gratitude.
