Weekend Sports Huddle with Tom, Hunter & Dave

WRSP Radio presents the 38th episode of the second year of Weekend Sports Huddle with co-hosts Tom Pollin, Hunter Hodies and producer Dave Holcomb. February and early March is known to be a little bit of a dead period in sports, but there is nothing dead about this Saturday's show. To start off, our hosts take a look at this weekend's NFL combine and the draft process. Over the last few years, it seems to have taken on a life of its own. The NFL draft has gotten so popular with content everywhere, there's thousands of mock drafts and hot takes coming from everywhere. With more information, somehow we know even less. Next up are the Pittsburgh Penguins, who are suddenly on a three-game losing streak. Goaltender Matt Murray is out with a concussion, and the Penguins allowed eight goals to the Boston Bruins on Thursday. Is it time to worry? Holcomb and Hodies will argue why they are concerned but not panicing.  Finally, we'll cover a few top Chicago sports stories from the week, including Matt Forte officially retiring from the NFL.
