Legendary drummer Artimus Pyle joined the show on October 20, 2023. Pyle was, of course, part of Lynyrd Skynyrd and survived the band's fateful plane crash 46 years ago. Now, Artimus has formed his own band, and they would make their Grand Ole Opry debut later that night.
