The final Episode of "Deep Dive Into Yoga" I talk about the Light & Shadow (good and bad) that I have experienced in my 2 Decades of Yoga Practice.  There were several times over the past 20 years I nearly quit the practice...thankfully I was able to gain new perspective and my relationship with my practice & the landscape of yoga as a whole matured. Now I take the stance that Yoga is NOT perfect...But that is OK...I Love it anyway!

With that being said- we need to take a hard stance against unacceptable behavior in the yoga community. There have been far too many teachers/gurus that have perpetuated abuse under the pretense of teaching yoga. We need to be aware of this & prevent it from occurring ring in the future. 

It is important for NEW yoga practitioners and teachers to understand that not everything that is conveyed or practiced in yoga circles is healthy- you need to keep your eyes open and your powers of discernment sharp. Decide what you want in your practice & what does not serve you (right now). YOU retain your personal agency & decision making skills. 

I hope that the struggles and realizations I have experienced will be useful to you. I recognize that these topics are controversial & not everyone will agree or have the same experience - and that is OK. It is important to bring light to these areas & let people decide for themselves :)
