Ready to stop dabbling and start deciding? We dive into the gritty truth behind sustained growth: the line-in-the-sand commitment that powers your first wins—and how to renew it each time you aim higher. I share the exact mindset shifts and execution moves that carry you from early momentum to full-time income, then into multi-six figures with focused messaging and a real sales process, and finally into seven figures by turning what works into scalable systems like ads, email, and funnels.

You’ll hear how to recognize when comfort quietly stalls progress, why repeating yesterday’s tactics won’t unlock tomorrow’s goals, and how to rebuild momentum when the market shifts under your feet. I break down a practical path for recommitting at each stage: using data instead of vibes, sharpening your niche and promise, compressing time-to-value in your offers, and treating slumps like a lab instead of a funeral. We also talk about obsession without burnout—how two focused hours a day can outperform twelve scattered ones when you prioritize pipeline, conversations, and decision-focused content, and protect your headspace with simple habits that compound.

If you’ve hit a plateau or felt the sting of a sudden slump, this conversation gives you a map and the fire to use it. Draw the line again. Choose the fight again. And if you’re aiming for six figures with accountability and clear structure, I share details on the new Six Figure Sprint and how to get the workshop invites. Subscribe, share this with a friend who’s ready to recommit, and leave a quick review to tell me the one constraint you’ll tackle first.

SPEAKER_00 (00:00):
What's up, friends?
My name is Josh.
I'm your push coach.
Excited, excited, excited tobring you an episode just from a
man, just a place of someelectric energy.
Just been having some reallygood things happen behind the
scenes.
Been putting extra time into myown meditation and mindset.
And man, it's been freakingamazing.

(00:21):
And that's what I want to talkto you about a little bit today
is your next goal literallydepends on this.
I want you to think about thisfor a second.
Anyone who has had success canremember a time in their
business when they first gotstarted.
And whether this happened whenyou first started or it happened
sometime along the way, at somepoint, anyone who has ever had

(00:44):
success had a moment where theykind of like drew a line in the
sand and said, I'm going tofreaking figure this out.
And this is what a lot of, youknow, a lot of people are like,
oh, you got to fix your mindset.
You got to fix your mindset.
And they don't really talk abouthow to fix your mindset or what
to actually do to fix yourmindset.
But I will say, as a life coach, obviously I have a lot of

(01:07):
teachings on what it actuallytakes to fix your mindset.
But today I want to talk alittle bit just more about that,
that mentality of like makingthe commitment and being
determined to get the thing youwant.
And for some people, they'venever done this before.
And we'll we'll chat about thatin a second.
But for people that have had alevel of success, almost every

(01:28):
one of us can remember whetherit was a specific day, a
specific time, or just aspecific season where we were
like, you know what?
I'm not playing around anymore.
I am no longer treating mybusiness like a hobby or like a
fun thing that I do.
I am like, I am going to treatthis like a business and I'm
going to figure out what I gotto do to make this happen.

(01:50):
And there's an element of this.
It's not everything in business,okay?
But the foundation of successthat we have to build on is this
mentality of I will figure itout.
Not I'm gonna see if I canfigure it out, not I'm gonna try
to figure out if maybe some ofthis stuff is for me.
It's uh you get to a point whereyou're just like, no, I'm this

(02:11):
is what I'm going to do.
And the reason that mentalitychanges the way you do for
business is because so manypeople are kind of like dabbling
in things.
And when you're just dabbling inthings, you don't normally do
enough of it to even get anydata to see what it can or can't
do or what is or isn't working, but you also don't stick with

(02:32):
things long enough to even getthem to work.
And when you adopt thismentality of I'm going to figure
it out, everything changes.
Now, here's what I've seen.
So, so for those of you, if youhaven't adopted that mentality
yet, this is my challenge to youto say, you know what?
I'm not gonna cough aroundanymore.

(02:53):
Like I I've spent enough timeand energy playing, messing
around, goofing off in Canva andwatching reels.
If I'm going to spend a couplehours a day away from my family
and say that it's for theirfuture, I need to honor that.
I need to be a person of my wordand actually do the things that
will move things forward.

(03:14):
But today I actually really wantto talk to those of you that
have seen levels of success inthe past that have maybe found
yourself stuck at one level oranother.
And this is something I wasthinking about yesterday, just
while I was driving around.
And I was thinking, you know, just in my personal opinion,
this isn't an exact, but this isjust my opinion, you can get

(03:37):
yourself to a full-time incomejust based off of that
mentality.
If you have the mentality, like,no one's gonna stop me, I'm
gonna figure it out, that alonecan get you to kind of like that
$40,000 to$60,000 mark.
Okay.
From there, I personally believein order to scale up to more of
like the multi-six figures, youreally gotta hone in on your

(04:00):
messaging and your niche, andyou gotta like get really,
really good at like having agood sales process.
In other words, you go from justlike grinding it out to being
like, oh, you know what?
Now I have enough data, I'veseen enough of what works and
what doesn't work, I can putmore time and energy into what

(04:20):
really works and spend a littleless time doing the things that
didn't work.
And then, in my opinion, to gofrom multi-six to seven figures
is all about taking all of thatand turning it into duplicatable
systems that can be scaled.
So, like for me, that was a lotof ads, email marketing,
funnels, things like that.
Okay.
But here's something that I wasthinking about yesterday.

(04:44):
At every single one of thoselevels, whatever the next big
goal or the next big leap that Ineeded to make in my business
was, every single time, it camebecause that same, like, I'm
fully committed to figuring thisout mentality is what I learned

(05:05):
how to adopt for the nextchallenge.
So a lot of people are like, I'mall in, I'm gonna make it
happen.
And then they get to full timeand then they're just stuck
there.
And that's because they neverreadopt that same mentality for
the next level.
Grant Cardone says, new level, new devil.
And the reality is, yes, atevery new level, I think it's

(05:26):
human nature to think, I'm gonnaget to this point, and then my
problems will be gone.
And really, we get to whateverthat point is, and then we just
have different types ofproblems.
And so a lot of people are onlywilling to have the mentality of
I'll figure it out until theyget far enough in business to be

(05:46):
comfortable.
And then they kind of naturallysettle into more of like a
normal routine and a normalmentality, and then think that
just by continuing to do thesame shit that they were doing,
they will eventually get to thenext level.
And that's not how it works.
You have to figure out what isthe thing that's gonna get me to

(06:07):
my next level, and then you haveto adopt the same I will figure
this out no matter whatmentality.
Because whatever that next bigjump is for you, it's not gonna
come with ease just because youwant to hit bigger goals.
You're going to have to learnsome lessons, fight some
internal battles, and oh, by theway, fight the internal battles

(06:32):
that come with learning thelessons.
So going back to um when I firstlearned ads, I gave myself like
six months of just playing withit and messing with it over and
over and over until I finallyreally figured it out and it
became like second nature to me.
2019 is when I first starteddoing more like organized slash

(06:55):
automated funnels.
Uh, it's when I first launchedmy F Leadership book funnel.
And it was weird.
I didn't like it.
I hated uh the sales pages andall of the techie stuff that
kind of came with that, all thelike uh back office.
I hated that ish.
And yet I said, this is whatit's gonna take to get to seven

(07:15):
figures.
This is the missing piece.
So, whatever it's gonna take, however uncomfortable it is,
that's just what I have to do.
Every big leap I've made inbusiness has been because I've
adopted a mentality that says Iwill figure this out.
In 2025, uh, the first quarterof the year was incredible for

(07:36):
me.
We had some new stuff that wewere doing that was just taking
off.
And then out of nowhere, thesummer hit, and it was the
weirdest thing I've everexperienced.
It was like overnight.
99.9% of people just stoppedresponding, started, you know,
having you know more objectionsthan I've ever seen or heard in
my entire life.
It was like everything in theworld that had worked just

(07:59):
stopped overnight.
And over the summer, I had toadopt this mentality again of
saying I have got to figure outwhat is broken, what is missing,
or what needs to be changed.
And the reality is, in myopinion, this summer just kind
of was like the exclamation markon what's been happening for the

(08:20):
last couple of years with thechange in the way society is,
change in how people aremotivated, people online being
more negative.
And so over the summer, I justhad to lock in and say, I will
figure this out.
And thankfully, because Iadopted that mentality, I did.
I did figure it out.
And here we are in November, which is usually kind of a weird

(08:43):
season in business.
And instead, I'm flying high onmomentum because I was willing
to do what I needed to do, tolearn what I needed to learn to
get where I wanted to go.
If you want to reach your nextlevel of success, you are going
to have to adopt that mentality.
Yes, you will also need to learnsome things.
Okay.
There's some things you're gonnalearn.

(09:04):
It's not just about thementality, it's about having
that mentality, which then givesyou the commitment and
dedication to learn what youneed to learn.
The two come together.
So wherever you're at inbusiness, I want to challenge
you.
What is that next big goal?
And are you allowing yourself tobecome obsessed with getting

(09:25):
there?
And by the way, when I sayobsessed, I'm not talking about
um working 12 hours a day.
I'm not talking about, you know, letting your relationships go to
shit.
What I am talking about is ifyou've got two or three hours a
day to work, you are 100% all infor those two to three hours.
And I get for some of you, likeyou might be a stay-at-home mom

(09:48):
that like your two to threehours are kind of split up all
throughout the day.
Whatever that looks like, therehas got to be a mentality of I
am figuring this out.
All right.
I love you so much.
I believe in you so much.
I hope you're enjoying havingsome new episodes coming at you.
I am in the middle of launchinga brand new program called the

(10:10):
Six Figure Sprint.
And this is specifically forpeople who want to get to six
figures.
They don't want to sit arounddabbling and waiting and
watching 47,000 modules on howto make a reel, but they want to
like actually put in the workand energy and effort and they
need a higher level ofaccountability.

(10:31):
I'm bringing back my old schooltracker with some new things
added to it.

that I'm teaching in my$45membership get added to a lot of
one-on-one customization and amore intense tracker.
