Austin Pollard is a recovering addict with a commitment to helping others. He became addicted to opioids while in the military and has gone through a long road to recovery. Austin is currently a state housing program manager for a managed healthcare and insurance provider and a practicum therapist intern for a mental health practice. Austin has also served in various capacities for non-profit organizations in Reno such as the Downtown Reno Partnership and Volunteers of America for Northern California and Northern Nevada. He is earning his master’s degree in social work from the University of Nevada, Reno.
