У этого выпуска Zavtratunes Retro довольно необычная история. Дело в том, что я нашел старый плейлист, который я делал для какого-то из своих выступлений на гастролях по России в районе 2009 года – причем уже и забыл, где именно, то ли Киров, то ли Нижний Новгород, то ли Липецк. Запись микса прямо с выступления я не нашел, но треки вспомнил – мне очень нравится до сих пор такая музыка. Поэтому я решил пойти на необычный шаг: свел этот микс заново, почти 10 лет спустя, используя те же треки, что играл тогда на гастролях (и даже в том же порядке). Новый Zavtratunes Retro пропитан ностальгией и скупой мужской слезой по вечеринкам конца двухтысячных годов.
