Zavtracast’s side project Zavtratunes continues its series of worldwide collaborations with DJs and musicians that inspire us on a daily basis. Next up here we have the fifth Zavtratunes Special featuring a Canadian musician named CRi from Montreal. His tracks often appear in Zavtratunes and as a background music in Zavtracast podcast. Christophe Dubé has been making music for a few years now – released a few EPs, OST’d Louis Vuitton ad and dropped a handful of remixes. That lead him to be signed for the new label Young Art by TOKiMONSTA. His biggest inspirations are artists like Jon Hopkins, Burial, and Mount Kimbie. Christophe comes from a quite artistic family as well: his father was a director, mother was a painter, and his sister is a full-time actress. The mix CRi made especially for Zavtratunes is energetic, melodic, quite melancholic sometimes, and of course – inspiring.
