Straight from Bordeaux we’ve got the new artist joining our Zavtratunes Special worldwide list of talents. Please welcome Arthur Tessier, performing under the moniker A.L.I.S.O.N, with his chillwave / retrowave mixtape he calls himself Space Station Radio. Arthur (22) is a rising star on the French electronic scene. He’s been producing music for three years now while constantly discovering new sounds and styles, exploring old synthesisers, and melting his passion into music. Arthur feels strong connection to warm sounds and synths straight from 1980s by the artists like Aphex Twin and Boards of Canada. He draws his inspiration from ambient music and retro with a lot of heavy synths. Also his collection is full of dreampop and shoegaze music with artists like Slowdive. That’s why he always wants to mix up the dreamy elements of shoegaze with heavy retro-synths. Finished up his studies, Arthur now is full-time focused on his music and is working on his debut LP this year after releasing tons of tracks recently already.
