Die Literatur- und Medienwissenschaftlerin Maren Lickhardt beschäftigt sich mit Pop-Kultur in verschiedensten Ausprägungen. Die Assistenzprofessorin für Neue deutsche Literaturwissenschaft am Institut für Germanistik der Uni Innsbruck untersucht dabei sowohl „alte“ als auch heutige Phänomene.
Ihre Leidenschaft gilt den frühesten Ausprägungen von Pop-Kultur im Berlin der 20er Jahre und ihrer Abbildung in der damaligen (Frauen-)Literatur. Lickhardt bezeichnet sich selbst darüber hinaus als schon seit den 80er Jahren „seriensüchtig“ - und wirft einen wissenschaftlichen Blick auf Serien und ihre Rezeption vor dem Hintergrund popkultureller Aspekte. Am Anfang des Gesprächs steht aber zunächst die Frage: Was ist eigentlich Pop-Kultur?
