Это и правда свершилось — украинская студия GSC GameWorld выпустила долгожданную S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, симулятор выживания в Чернобыльской зоне отчуждения. Получился классический «Сталкер»: он тормозит, вылетает, багует, бесит устаревшим гемдизайном… И в то же время «Сердце Чернобыля» — это шутер, от которого невозможно оторваться. Он абсолютно анахроничен и выглядит дико на фоне сделанных под линейку современных AAA-шутеров с открытым миром. Stalker 2 на лету генерирует удивительные истории, пленяет пацанской романтикой Зоны, травит выбросами, аномалиями, мутантами, завораживает чувством свободы и одиночества. В этом спецвыпуске мы делимся впечатлениями и историями из детства, признаемся в любви к серии (особенно «Тени Чернобыля»!), вспоминаем книги Василия Орехова про сталкера Хемуля и разбираемся, как работает Heart of Chornobyl.
