Сотрудники Санкт‑Петербургского государственного университета разработали первую редакцию «Толкового словаря государственного языка Российской Федерации». В нем они предложили новое, расширительное определение термина нецензурная брань — для «соблюдения запрета», предусмотренного законом «О государственном языке». В число нецензурной лексики, в том числе, включили слова «жопа», «бздеть» и другие (а также производные от этих слов).
