דני אורבך הוא היסטוריון צבאי ופרופסור חבר באוניברסיטה העברית. את הדוקטורט שלו בהיסטוריה קיבל מאונ׳ הרווארד. כיום הוא מרצה בעברית על הסיטרויה צבאית בחוג להיסטוריה כללית ומשמש כיועץ מוסמך ומרצה במדור יפן בלימודי אסיה. דני מרבה להופיע בטלוויזיה כפרשן לענייני צבא, היסטוריה ויפן וכמו-כן כותב באתרים ״מידה״, ״שיחה מקומית״ והנחה את הפודקאסט ״סוכן משולש״, שעסק בתחומי המודיעין והריגול. דיברנו בשיחה הזו בעיקר על עזה ולבנון, אבל גם על מלחמת העולם השניה והמאה ה-19. הפרק הפעם עסק במחקר שדני כתב עם עמיתיו על המלחמה בעזה והתמודד עם הטענות לגבי רצח עם והרעבה מכוונת.
