יוסי לוי חי כל חייו בחברה החרדית. הוא למד בישיבת מיר, אך בגיל 18 החליט המשך החיים כאברך לא מתאימים והתגייס לנצח יהודה. כיום הוא משרת בדרגת סא״ל במיל׳ בתפקיד מג״ד של גדוד שמשתתף בלי הפסקה במלחמה בעזה. בין לבין השלים תואר בתמטיקה וכיום שוקד על תואר הדוקטורט שלו במנהל ציבורי. יוסי גם מנהל עמותת נצח יהודה ומנסה לקדם חקיקה שתוביל לשירות במספרים משמעותיים של חרדים, לצד שמירה על עולם התורה.
