אייל וקסמן נראה הכי רחוק מהתדמית של המנכ״לים שאתם אולי מכירים בהייטק הישראלי. הוא נולד בישוב מעבר לקו הירוק, למד בתיכון מקצועי והיה מדריך בחיל חימוש בצבא, או כמו שהוא מעיד על עצמו, נראה קצת ״ערס״ עם קעקועים על הזרועות, ראש מגולח וזקן. את הקריירה שלו הוא בכלל התחיל כטכנאי ביורוקום נוקיה והתקדם בארגונים שהוא צמח בהם, עד שנחשף והתאהב בעולם אבטחת המידע. לפני תשע שנים הוא הקים את סיימולט, חברה שפיתחה מערכת אוטומטית לסימולציות תקיפה. לאורך השנים הם גייסו יותר מ-140 מיליון דולר, ונמצאים במכירות של קרוב ל-50 מיליון דולר, עם משרדים ב-14 מדינות. בחודשים האחרונים הם גם רכשו חברת סייבר אחרת, ואייל הגיע לאולפן שלנו לספר על הדרך שהוא עשה, עם המון חוצפה ואמונה עצמית, ועל הדרך גם הוכיח שלא חייבים לעבור ב-8200 או 81 כדי להצליח בתעשייה הזו.
