מרסיו למפרט נולד בריו דה ז'נרו ועלה לארץ כבר בגיל 17 אחרי שאיים על הוריו שאם הם לא יצטרפו אליו הוא יעלה לבד. אחרי לימודים במגמת אלקטרוניקה, קורס חובלים ושירות ארוך בסטילים הוא הצטרף לאורבוט, לימים אורבוטק, כשההייטק הישראלי היה עדיין בחיתוליו. 25 שנים הוא היה שכיר בכיר בחברות טכנולוגיה וסטרטאפים, ועשה תפקידי פיתוח, מוצר, מכירות ולבסוף שימש כמנכ״ל. בשנים האחרונות הוא השותף בישראל של קרן ההון סיכון סין וונצ׳רס (לא המדינה, ולא המילה חטא) קרן אמריקאית שמשקיעה בחברות סייבר בשלבי סיד ואיי. על הטרנדים בעולם הסייבר וההון סיכון, האתגרים וכמה טיפים למייסדים מתחילים, שרוצים להקים חברת סייבר אבל לא רק.
