العمارة أو مكان السكن هو واحد من عناصر عديدة تتسبب في معاناة العمال، فكثير من العمال لا يوجد لديهم أماكن سكن إنسانية تتمتع بتهوية جيدة وإضاءة كافية، كما أن كثير من مساحات الغرف ضيقة، وربما تنام العاملة في الصالون أو في غرفة الأطفال. ورغم هذا، فتوفير سكن إنساني للعمال لا يعني أبدًا حل كل مشاكل الاستغلال والاستعباد التي يتعرض لها العمال والعاملات في المنازل. فاستعباد العمال له أبعاد مختلفة لا تتوقف عند مكان السكن فقط.
في هذه الحلقة نحاول إلقاء الضوء على أحد العناصر المؤثرة في الحياة الشخصية والمهنية للعاملات من وجهة نظر معمارية، إذ نستمع لحكايات عاملات أجانب يعملن في الأردن، ويروين لنا قصصًا من داخل غرفهن التي يسكننها.
