13歲成名、20歲就經歷事業下坡，加上戀愛不順的情傷，Tanya Tucker年紀輕輕就陷入人生低谷，幸好進入戒癮中心治療後順利康復，也憑著一曲Strong Enough to Bend在鄉村樂壇東山再起。
復出後，她的音樂變得更加快節奏、更走鄉村流行風，從1988年到1989年，Tucker連續八次進入全國前10名。她的多張專輯也獲得了RIAA的金唱片認證，售出超過50萬張。
上次也講到，Tanya Tucker的感情路可以說是一波三折，跟非常多男演員/男歌手/製作人發展過感情，甚至還訂婚、生子，但是她終身沒有和任何一人步入禮堂。雖然如此，他所唱的情歌可是大受歡迎，例如歌頌終生不渝愛情的Two Sparrows in a Hurricane，至今仍是她最受歡迎的歌曲之一。
雖然到了1990年代，Tucker不再有冠軍單曲，但許多單曲還是進入鄉村榜前五名和前10名。Tucker也是為數不多的、在成年後依然成功的童星之一。她也持續歌唱不輟，還在2005年出了一本書〔100 Ways to Beat the Blues on Fireside 一百種擺脫憂鬱的方式〕，教大家如何走出人生低潮！
令人驚豔的是，2019年Tucker在Fantasy Records發行了《While I'm Livin》，這是她自2002年的《Tanya》以來，首度發行原創專輯，居然一舉贏得了兩個格萊美獎，也是她50年的音樂生涯中首次獲得葛萊美獎！
