(04:12):
was a rack he almost didn't evenmake it, and he got in and
won tickets to see every concert cameout as a part of thanks to the
folks at Yingling for helping us putthat on. The Puck's Place is cool,
man. I hadn't been up therein the Wee Street I Center,
and it's a cool place to goand watch games, especially if you're a

(04:35):
kid is participating or a loved oneis participating in ice training, hockey,
figure skating, whatever, that's theway to do it. Man. The
place is huge, that part ishuge. I was surprised how massive it
was. Plenty of room to sitaround and hang out. You don't feel
all, you know, squitched upagainst each other. Yeah, did you
see the chicken sandwich? No?So the kitchen was there were so many

(05:00):
people there. They were killing it. They had a chicken. Do you
remember you ever had a tenderloin sandwich? Oh? Yeah. And in the
Midwest, tenderloin sandwiches are as bigas the table. Thank yea. This
was a chicken sandwich like that nicebecause one of our friends was eating it
and he looked over and I waslike, what's hanging Oh, that's a

(05:20):
chicken sandwich. So their food wasreally good too. Yeah. There was
a couple of people that came upand said, hey, what's going on
here? And they were qualifying lastchance just because they were there just for
dinner. No kids, ice skating. They were there just they just liked
food, have dinner. There yougo. So Jonathan Garcia, big winter

(05:43):
Man, congratulations to him and thanksto EINGLINGK for making it happen. Hooray.
So the video footage from the tornadoesthat hit Holdenville and Sulfur I have
seen. I love how your voicejust dropped a pitch. I've seen too
damage video hundreds and hundreds of timesand each time it always looks surreal,

(06:06):
crazy to see just it treated likeit's a kid's play. St yep,
just stuff everywhere, everywhere, everywhere. Four people died, I believe three
of them were in the state ofOklahoma. Dozens of people injured and one
of them was even a little babygirl. Oh wow, they got killed.

(06:30):
Ah. Just heartbreaking. And whenyou have a town like Sulfur that
is eighty ninety percent destroyed, whatdo you do? Homes destroyed, business
is destroyed. You're talking maybe ayear before everything's back up on its feet.
Oh for sure, what do youthe loss you feel from maybe your

(06:55):
home or your business, your community, But also like what do you do?
How do you put one foot infront of the other right when everything
is destroyed? Like your entire lifeis just laying there, strode out in
the front yard or sometimes down theroad. Wouldn't you talk to people that
have had their houses burned down andthey talk about just the complete loss and

(07:17):
not sure where to go. Butthey have their community, right. But
when the entire communities feeling the samething, that kind of slows things down
a little bit. I mean, everybody's got to get together and you know,
make it happen one way or theother. And it's easy to go.
I care about that, but Idon't care enough about that, right
because it doesn't affect you, right, but it still could. There's like

(07:40):
I forget the which isn't here, but the Omaha National Weather Service had like
eighty seven tornadoes, the most they'dever done in one day, and we
had obviously a ridiculous amount. Soit could happen to you absolutely. You
know, I've been here since I'vebeen in Oklahoma since ninety three, right,

(08:01):
and they've seen tornadoes, right, always somewhere else, though, always
somewhere else, never around me,right. I think the closest one I've
gotten was the one that went downforty four and tore up a couple of
buildings here in town. Yea,It's about as close as it's gotten from
me. So I mean it sucks. I just I don't know how to

(08:22):
respond to it because I've never hadto deal with that before. Right now,
that's fair God, right, theidea of like seeing it happen.
I stayed up, Like, Ijust stayed up. It's just my nature.
I can't. I can't not.And at one point, it was
like twelve forty five, the weatherwas like, he was like, whoa,

(08:46):
this is crazy. He was like, We've never seen this. And
there was a little confusion happening betweeneverybody on TV live television because the two
or two tornadoes and they were rotatingin opposite direction, and he was like,
this hasn't happened in forty years, almost to the day, in the
same city. I think that wasthe Holdenville one. Wow. And You're

(09:09):
just like, that's insane for itto happen twice. When I lived in
Oklahoma City, I lived in moreand I had a how a brand new
house. They built a house andin a neighborhood that had just been destroyed
because of tornadoes. And I waslike, ah again, yeah, sure,

(09:31):
So he lived there for a littlebit, a little bit whatever.
I hated Oklahoma City and I leftcame here. Not even two years later
that house got destroyed. Wow,So I guess it can happen again.
Maybe there should just be some spotsthat were like, no, we're just
not going to put homes here, just to be safe. But the sulfur

(09:52):
thing, I just I've thought aboutthat so much in the last twenty four
hours. The the history of thattown is gone. The building that was
the post office or that was atown saloon back in the day or whatever,
the feed store gone. Yeah. And if it isn't gone, it's

(10:13):
probably destroyed enough where they gotta takeit down. Yeah. And if it
isn't destroyed and it's there. There'swho's gonna go right, everybody got stuff
to do. Yeah, these picturesare gnarly man, Yes, wow.
And there's a little bit of anoutrage online because of some people were complaining

(10:35):
about how storm chasers were driving inthe to get to some of the severe
weather and stuff like that, andhow why can they get away from it.
I think that's a fair question becausethe video that was being depicted online
is of a storm chaser passing ona double yellow, but there was no

(10:56):
traveling. It never looked like anybodywas in danger. Did they break the
law? Sure, sure, butdon't come at me with you. You're
going the speed limit and you neverbreak the law, right, And I
think the storm chasers play a pivotalrole in their ability to tell a story
of what's happening, and to dothat, you gotta break the law a

(11:18):
little bit. They're also not supposedto be going down certain roads. They're
not supposed to be going into communitieswhere this has happened, and they do,
and because the visuals that they canprovide are super important to meteorology.
There's a famous storm chaser here inthis town. He was out storm chasing

(11:39):
got caught on live wires. Wow, done, couldn't do anything. He
had to stay right there until theycould turn the power off. Or so
these people are jeopardizing their lives.A double yellow hardly feels like the biggest
threat to them. Should they bebreaking the law? No? Should any
of us? No? What woulddo anyway? Yes, but it was

(12:00):
interesting to see. That's the thingthat to nitpick about over the weekend when
so many chaotic things are happening forpeople's lives. And look at the photos
out of Nebraska. Just comp Imean, the annihilation that a tornado can
provide is just it's a spectacle thatit's hard to even understand. And even

(12:26):
if you've seen it hundreds of times, and in such a short time too,
it takes you know, you thinkof hurricanes, and you know they
leave behind such devastation too. Ittakes them so much longer than a tornado.
Their ability to predict and know theircoming is much more perfected. Absolutely,
Yeah, And just think it's betternow. Oh, it's dramatically better

(12:48):
now than it's ever been if youwatch like you think about back in the
day. Let's just go the seventies, not long ago, long ago,
but not long ago. And therewas no like storm chasers like we know
them to be. There was novortex Doppler nine sid frieden Roy Doppler radar

(13:13):
right right. It was hey, severe weather, tornado, that's it.
At least now you get a fewminutes of warning and the ability of some
of these people to go, oh, yeah, that's it, it's happening.
And I'm like, it looks likeclouds, right, they know what

(13:33):
they're talking about. When that cloudwhat is that cloudy at the wall cloud?
You know. We didn't we weren't. We didn't have a show on
Friday, but I was still uphere anyway, and I had a listener
hit me up like early too,and I was like he's like, yea,
all right man. I'm like,well, I mean I don't have
mercenaries chasing after me, so Iguess I'm all right, what's going on?
Right? Right? So depending onthe hour of the day, he's
like a tornado, sirens going off, and I, you know, was

(13:54):
over there and spolp or whatnot's likethat bad weather whatnot. And I was
sitting here thinking to myself, oh, all right, because I go outside
because that's what you do when youhear there's tornadoes around, you go outside
and look at the sky. It'sdark. I can't see anything, but
I did hear the sirens. AndI'm sitting here thinking myself as I'm smoking,
listening to the sirens, where doI go in this building? If
it gets in this building? Toobad? Yeah? Were you sure you

(14:16):
weren't hearing the sirens of the buildingnext door that had been going off?
You're forty eight hours, seventy twohours or something? Yeah, right,
But I guess the only thing thatI could really think of, right would
be the lobby, the first floorbathroom over there by the bank stairwell,
stairwell. Okay, I guess Ithought it would be the safest place.
Yeah, I'm just like, Ican't be up here, you know,

(14:37):
fifth floor, you know, glassall over the place. Yeah, it
wouldn't be good. Yeah, ifyou can't do that, you want to
get to the very center of theroom. We're all the electronics and the
fires. That's right, that's crazy. Somebody texted in. If you haven't
seen this, it's quite crazy. Is the dollar store distribution warehouse that got
annihilated? Okay? All that cheapstuff scattered everywhere. Hey, now they

(15:00):
have brand name stuff or a dollarthey have brand they have brand name.
I always get confused. Dollar Store, Dollar General not the same dollars Dollar
Store, Dollar General, dollar Treenot the same. No, No,
not everything a dollar, no DollarGeneral. It is Walmart with a different
name. Pretty much, they gotlike I mean, they got cheap stuff.

(15:22):
Nothing in there is like more thanwhat fifteen dollars something like that.
I don't know. I've never wentto find the most expensive priced item.
Why, but I know what theeverything's a dollar store, everything's a dollar
and tax I don't think that's trueanymore. I think the everything's a dollar
store has dollar two dollars five dollarsitems, right, and Dollar Tree for

(15:43):
sure has stuff that is more thana dollar. Yeah, it's like a
dollar twenty five. Now I've seentwo dollars and five dollars there. So
they're just tricking us with that dollarthing. But they're not all like cheap
stuff. So I take offense toyour statement, Sara. But even then
those are jobs gone. Absolutely aslutely. A couple thousand people work at those

(16:06):
facilities, let's say five hundred theyand then the company's like, well you're
not working. Do we pay you? Of course we pay you because that's
the right thing to do. Butthat's got an infinite timeline or a definitive
timeline. Those people the waking upstill today, right because they woke up

(16:29):
yesterday and today they still probably feela little lost for sure, and what
are they gonna do? And theother thing is first responders go out into
that crazy stuff is always so bizarreto me, right, as they should.
Yeah, I mean, it iskind of their job, that is
their gig. It was footage Isaw locally of the fire department going out

(16:52):
because of a house fire because itgot struck by lighting, and it's you
know, the heavens are opening upand they're just like dirp, we're putting
out this house fire. Yeah, they that's their job. I get.
It still seems crazy when everybody else, I like, stay inside. Firemen
because and women because they're awesomer likedirt and dirt gotta go. This is
the job. I'm like, it'sthat type of thing. I'm like,

(17:15):
I don't want to be a fireman. Yeah right, that in the carrying
of the hose too much for you, Oh god, way more than I
need to be carrying all right,we got tickets to Chevelle we're gonna give
away. We got best and worstof the week, and our listeners are
awesome. And congratulations again to JonathanGarcia Broken Arrow. He won't to see
them all twenty twenty four. We'llbe back. If you're listening to The

what the Here's Corbin Gimbe and Lindsaywith what's going on News quakies from the
Big n The Morning Showing ninety sevenfive AD. Tulsa woman charged with the
Sultan battery with dangerous weapons. Thishappened last September second, twenty twenty three.
Fifty two year old Kimberly Human burstinto a room with a knife where

(18:42):
a woman was sleeping, calling thatwoman names, says. The victim locked
herself in the room, but KimberlyHuman broke in with an axe, blocking
the victim's path and swinging the axeover her head. The victim ran outside,
and Uman picked up a bat andput it to the victim's forehead,

(19:03):
threatening to beat her with it.The witness then reported seeing Human put the
knife to the victim's eyes while threateningher as well. Kimberly was initially arrested
for threatening a violent act, butthat charge was dismissed later in October because
the victim didn't cooperate, says. After further review, it was determined to

(19:25):
charge of assault with a dangerous weaponwould be filed. I don't understand why
this is a story. I don'tunderstand why it's I don't I don't understand
why it's a story from September. What's changed. Maybe she's just now going
to court. Yeah she's that's whythey're putting it back out there again.
I don't know. She's a Shelooks like, oh, settled down,

(19:48):
she looks like an old lady. She looks so angry. Most people don't
look happy in their mugshots. I'veseen some smiley mug I said most people,
she'd this looks like that's how shelooks all the time. Not like,
you know, I'm being arrested, this sucks, but like she just
looks like grumpy cat all the time. Grumpy cat, he's actually what she
looks like. Cat name. Manreceives a tax bill for thirty four billion

(20:17):
dollars. This comes out of Pennsylvania. A guy named Barry is his name,
And he went and checked his maillast week and he had two envelopes
and one of them was a taxrefund of nine hundred dollars. Woo.
He was stoked to get that one, Hey cah. The other one was
an envelope from the Pennsylvania Department ofRevenue that said he had an income tax

(20:37):
billing notice and the state says thathe owes wait for its thirty four billion,
five hundred and seventy six million, eight hundred and twenty six thousand,
five hundred and sixty one dollars andforty seven cents. Wow. He's like,
what the hell is going on?So I guess Barry says that his
taxman found an air roar in histwenty twenty two tax return, and he

(20:57):
filed an amendment and that's how theygot this number. For whatever reason,
Barry wasn't sure if it was histax guy that screwed it up or a
glitch in the computer system, Buthe says, I make less than one
hundred thousand dollars a year, andthere's no way that I'm ever gonna owe
that much money. Luckily, Barrywas able to get a hold of somebody

(21:17):
at Department of Revenue and get theproblem fixed, so he doesn't owe thirty
four billion dollars anymore. Man,I would I would have a heart attack
if I open that up. Whyyou know it's not accurate, because I
would freak out. I would, but you but you know it's not accurate.

(21:40):
Oh sure, So then why wouldyou freak me out? It would
just it would freak me out.I'd be like, well, this is
gonna be a pain in the assbecause they fixed things quick. But I
wouldn't. I wouldn't pass out.I know. One I know I don't
have it, and two I knowI don't owe that. Yeah, but
the that headache thirty four billion up? Right? Middle schooler? Middle schooler

(22:07):
stops bus when driver passed out,So this happened in Glendale River Hills,
Wisconsin, where in the eighth gradersbeing called a hero for stepping in when
his school bus driver went down. The school district says ac I got the
wheel. Holland, the third sawhis bus driver lose consciousness during the ride

(22:27):
to school earlier this week. Hejumped up, got the driver's foot off
the gas pedal, and then appliedthe brake. The bus was on route
two O seven at the time, and police say it was starting to veer
into oncoming traffic. Holland then callednine to one one and even reassured the
younger kids on the bus that everythingwill be okay. So why did the
bus driver pass out? Medical emergencyis what they said. I mean,

(22:49):
I know, okay, maybe, yeah, there's this thing called now we're
not okay with hippa yah, right, that could on That kid fourteen years
was riding the bus. Probably didn'tlook the coolest, but now he does.
Yeah, definitely everybody wants him ontheir bus now in case something goes
awry. Right, and now he'slike, you know, hey, nice
green shirt. Right, Yeah,I saved some lives. Did you ever

(23:14):
stop a speeding bus? Right?I mean traffic. Right, you're such
a loser. Oh yeah, ohyeah, who you're in a safe twenties
of lives. You know what ifit wasn't for me, yeah, I'll
be dead. Yeah, it's likeKanu reeves. Now. All these stories

(23:38):
ninety Good morning. It's the Bignine Morning Show nine to one. So

(24:00):
kmod can also text themms and thenwhat you want to say to A two
nine four five. I don't knowif Lindsay will get to this, so
I'm just gonna hit it beforehand.I don't think she will. But Colorado
had their spring game over the weekend, and if you might remember last year

(24:21):
when they had their spring game,it sold out. People were psyched to
be able to go see Dion Sandersand crew. Yeah right, and the
excitement level for the team and whatthey were doing was massive. This year
the spring game not so much. And I'll share the video with you.

(24:44):
They're saying that the reason was becauseof the weather, right, which I
don't know. It's Colorado, man, It seems to always not be awesome
right this time of the year,it can be fluctuating. But here is
a video and it showed it fromtwenty twenty two to twenty twenty three,
right, which we all know wasmassive, and then that right, it

(25:10):
was huge, the difference between thosetwo years, and because everybody was psyched,
and then this is the one forthis year and there's like nobody in
the upper level really only on oneside, like it's Dizmule, Oh mynd
it's no good. Yeah, Ithink the excitement over Dion is over,

(25:34):
so he is. I think he'sin a bad situation. Yeah. I
think he's got to prove that hismethod works right, because it's so different.
It's turning a lot of people off. Because if your team's good and
you're excited for them, it doesnot matter the weather. Ye, you
go to games in Colorado in Novemberand December. You can't tell me a

(26:00):
little rain was a bother exactly. You were like, wait, how the
weather was kind of chilly and itwas drizzling. Bitch, you go in
November? Right. He did makea big promise to a fan ahead of
the season. There was a ninetynine year old uh fan at the game,
and he said at the spring game. Yeah, and he said we're

(26:22):
gonna we're gonna get to get youto a bowl game, baby, he
promised that ninety nine year old fanhe took the mic before. Not a
big accomplishment. When you go tothe Cinnamon TOAs scrunch Bowl, right,
Well, it's a bowl game.Yeah, it doesn't matter, it does.
Yeah, that's a ballgame, oneof the biggest. Absolutely a playoff
bowl game. Right, that's whatmatters. Just because you go to the

(26:45):
Bob's Drywall ball right, does notmean you made it. There are plenty
of teams with losing records that makeit to ball games. Yeah. So
it's you see that and you're like, oh, that's and it kind of
that story I thought kind of gotburied because of all the other sports stuff
that's happening this past weekend. Butyou watch it and you go ooo,
and as a football fan, it'sfun to watch that type of thing happened

(27:07):
for sure. Of course, theroad to the NBA Finals continued yesterday.
The Minnesota Timberwolves punched their ticket tothe Western Conference Semifinals with a one twenty

(27:27):
two to one sixteen victory over thePhoenix Suns that completed the four game sweep.
The New York Knicks took down thePhiladelphia seventy six ers ninety seven and
ninety two at the Wells Fargo Center. Jalen Brunson scored a Knicks playoff record
forty seven points. Dude, helooked rediculous, ridiculous. It was on

(27:52):
him and Joel in bed in bed, in bed, the big tall guy,
like yelling at each other. Oh, it was awesome. He looked
unstoppable. Forty seven points. Yeah, he looked unstoppable. Yeah, the
type of things he was doing.Making point, You're like, what And
they played in Philadelphia and it waslike half the crowd was the Knicks Philly

(28:15):
fan. Where are you? Yeah? In bed, the big tall guy,
he was like, and a presscomes are like, we can't let
that can't happen. We're at home. This is the playoffs, the playoffs.
I guess nobody really wanted to getout and watch sports at all this
weekend. You know, Colorado,it was the weather, Like, I'm
just going to stay home to blamethe fans because you guys couldn't get it

(28:37):
done. It's not right man.Oh no, no, they gotta shift
to blame somewhere though. Dude,he got blocked and he's a stud.
The tall guy. Yeah he gotthe really really salt. They're all tall,
right, but like got stuffed inthe last few minutes of the game,
looking like they could make it happen. Yeah, forty seven points helping
New York take a three to one. Yeah, that's massive. And the

(29:00):
Timberwolves. People thought they weren't gonnaget together, they end up crushing with
the Phoenix I think is who theywere playing. Anthony Edwards looked like Michael
Jordan on the floor. It wassick. I love NBA. I don't
love the NBA, but NBA playoffsYeah woof, Yeah, that's one to
watch. In other Eastern Conference action, the Indiana Pacers beat the Milwaukee Bucks
one twenty six to one thirteen atGamebridge field House. The Pacers now have

(29:25):
a three to one series lead, with the series heading back to Milwaukee.
And in the West, the LAClippers defeated the Dallas Mavericks one sixteen to
one eleven in Game four to evenup the series, and the action continues
today with three more contests. TheHeat hosts the Celtics at six thirty Central
on TNT and True TV. TheThunder visit the Pelicans at seven thirty Central

(29:48):
on NBA TV, which means you'renot watching it. Yeah, I looked
it up though. If you haveYouTube TV, which I do, thank
god, I can watch oh good. Yeah. And then the Nuggets in
retain the Lakers at nine pm Centralon TNT, and Thunder coach Mark dagnauld
it's he's gonna need to make someroom in his office for some new hardware

(30:11):
because of course. The Oklahoma Cityhead coach has been named the NBA's Coach
of the Year. He led theThunder to the top seed in the Western
Conference despite his roster being one ofthe youngest in the league. He claimed
eighty nine of the one hundred firstplace votes, finishing ahead of Orlando Magic
coach Jamal Moseley and Minnesota Timberwolves coachChris Finch. The Thunder finished the regular

(30:33):
season fifty seven and twenty five overalland are currently one win away from sweeping
the Pelicans in the first round ofthe playoffs. Houston Texans wide receiver Tank
Dell is okay after being shot inFlorida early Sunday mornings, Yeahlla that you
say it like it's a big surprise. A football player got shot in Florida,

(30:55):
right right. Dell was a bystanderduring the shooting, which happened at
a private event in Sandford. Atleast ten people were injured in the incident.
The Texan said in a statement thatDell had a minor wound and was
released from the hospital. What's aminor wound? So was he hit by
a bullet? Doesn't sound like it. If he was hit by a bullet,
I would they would. I thinkthe headline would say he got hit.

(31:17):
Right, Yeah, he got shot. He got shot, It said
being shot. So he got shot, but a minor wound. Maybe he
got grazed by a bullet. Ifyou're grazed, you're still shot. That
is true. I listen, abullet comes near me, hits my skin
in any capacity, that's not minorin my world. No, No,

(31:40):
if it's not minor. If itis minor for you, that means you
can compare it two others. Isay too. If you're in the ocean
and you get bit by a shark, you got attacked by a shark either,
No matter how bad it is,you don't lose a limb. You
still got bit by a shark. You were attacked by I agree one hundred
percent. You get to say thatin the water. You definitely get to

(32:04):
say you got shot. Yes,one person, there's no minor wounds.
He went to the hospital for hisbullet. Yes, you got shot.
Absolutely. I hope this never happensto me. But if I ever get
shot, I mean, if abullet shall lands near me, I'm saying
I got shot. I don't careif it's a bb gun, I got
shot. One hundred percent. I'mwith you, and that's your Balls of

(32:28):

vets. We want to hook himup with some beers and some dinner for
two just for sharing their story bestand worst of the weekend. What's the

(34:13):
best thing that happened this weekend? And the worst thing that happened this weekend?
Nine one, eight four to six, So camo dear, you can
text bmms and what that is toeight two nine four five. We'll start
with Lindsay. Lindsay, what's thebest and what's the worst. I always
feel like the weekend lasts longer whenI make plans on a Friday night.
If I do something Friday and Saturday, it just lasts so much longer.

(34:35):
Friday night, I had a goodevening with my girlfriend Michelle. She came
over while her fiance had his littlebachelor party, and so that was a
nice time. Saturday, though, was so much fun at smoking guns sixteen
fights. I assumed it was goingto feel like the night would last forever.

(34:58):
But also those fights did not lastvery long because they were more knockouts
than I've ever witnessed in my entirelife. It was incredible, incredible.
I don't know if they if thesefighters were like, all right, we
need to get this done quick becauseI want to avoid some bad weather,

(35:20):
they were like, you know, let's just step into this ring and get
it done with because man, theywere pulverizing each other. Oh, it
was your favorite knockout? Favorite fight? Oh? My favorite probably the uh
when the fireman tied it up.I don't remember which bout it was number
maybe the fourth or fifth one whenit was a knockout in nineteen seconds.

(35:43):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, itwas. It was a big deal.
I mean, that was just sofast right before our eyes. It was
just so quick blink and you wouldhave missed it. Yeah. But my
son Marcus, he called that.He was like, Mom, I think
the police are going to win tonight. And I said, why is that?
And he goes their intro music isway better. I was like,

(36:05):
you know what, I'm feeling thatyou're kind of right, and he was
right. I think the policeman endedup pulling it off by two fights in
the very end. Yeah, butwhat a great time. And I got
to meet Karen, whom won ticketsfrom playing games with me on the show
It's Karen with an I, andshe was fantastic, She was awesome,

(36:28):
and it was just it was fun. It was just a good good night.
Always is one of my favorite eventsthat we go to throughout the year,
and just super fun. I guessthe worst part of the weekend is
just waking up Sunday and not beingable to get off of my phone looking
at all of the devastation from thetornadoes over the weekend, and not just
here but in Nebraska as well, and you just feel for so many communities

(36:52):
and knowing that golly like thankful thatit didn't happen to me, But at
the same time, it's out ofa bitch, you know, like all
these poor people without their homes andbusinesses and family members, and it's very
sad and it just it breaks yourheart. So that was the worst.
Worst part of the weekend was somethingthat happened to somebody else. Absolutely,

(37:15):
absolutely, yeah, your heart breaksfor them. Best and worst of the
weekend. What's the best thing thathappened this weekend and the worst thing that
happened this weekend? Gimb what's thebest and what's the worst? I guess
the best. I mean, thefights were could But Friday night I took
my friend Braught out for his bachelorparty. You know, we're all one
big happy family here on the show. Ah. But it was cool.
So, I mean, we startedoff, we started off and we went

(37:37):
to this buffet, this little Asianbuffet, you know, and gorged ourselves.
Not very many bachelor parties have Iheard start with a buffet. Oh
yeah, it was good. Thatscene out of Hall Pass right exactly.
I'm ready to go to bed now. That's pretty much what I was expecting
it to be. Like, Iwas like, all right, we've done,

(37:57):
our bellies are full. But noah, man. We left there.
We went to the Pomp and hungout for a little while. We went
downtown and got rid of all thoseMax coins from the pub crawl, you
know, I had so many ofthem over Yeah, so we all went
down there and played some video games. And then did some karaoke and whatnot.
So it was a great It wasa great time. The worst part
of the weekend was Saturday. Afterthe fights, we all go to the

(38:22):
pump to you know, just hangout and have some drinks and enjoy.
And boy, it's raining like amother out there too, right, And
I'm looking from my headphones. Iwas like, we're on my headphones because
I, you know, try notto lose it. Your earbuds, my
earbuds, yes, yes, nowyour work headphone. No, no,
no, to my earbuds. Iusually keep them. They're wireless, you
know, and I keep them inmy bucket in my cut and I was

(38:42):
like fumbling around. I couldn't findthem. I was like, holy crap,
maybe they're out in my car.So I go trotting out to my
car, not like a full sprint, more of a maybe more than a
brisk walk, but none aless, you know, I just going out there
because it was raining. I didn'twant to get soaked or whatever. And
I hit a slick spot and theparking lot and my leg came right out
from underneath me and I busted myass right there in front of God,

(39:06):
and everybody ended up halfway underneath acor know it was bad, you know,
I just slipped down then slid yourbad leg or your good leg,
the one that had surgery. No, no, no, the other one.
So yeah, not the one thathad surgery. It was the other
one. And I get up andI was like, oh man, that's
like I'll think I broke it.You know, I think I just twisted
it up, mangled it up prettygood. But boy, I am feeling

(39:30):
it sitting them around here limping aroundbad legs. Great. The best and
worst of the weekend. What's thebest thing that happened this weekend and the
worst thing that happened this weekend.Best part of the weekend would be that
my swing set didn't blow away thatwe put up for the kids, So

(39:51):
feel pretty good about that. No, never had to get in the tornado
shelter. That might be the bestpart. The worst part of the weekend
is I sudden it look up Fridaynot feeling great, and then Sunday afternoon
I was sweating for no reason andjust I felt horrible. I'm blaming Lindsay
because we had to share a microphoneon Thursday, and so she's been kind
of hacking for like a week orthree weeks or something. So I'm just

(40:14):
blaming you, but I'm sure it'ssomething that's just in the air. And
uh, and it's still I'm stilldealing with it today. And so getting
sick is maybe the worst part ofthe weekend. Best and worst nine eight
four six, Oh, cam odor you can text bmms and whatever that
is to eight two nine four fiveAnd it looks like Kevin is on for

(40:35):
best and worst. Hey Kevin, how are you taking on today? Good
man? What's the best and what'sthe worst? Well, the best part
of the weekend is after almost fiveyears, I am done working on my
nineteen sixty six Plymouth Barracuda. Wow, and is it? Yeah? You
worked hard every year or this lastyear you really kind of got out?

(40:57):
No, No, I mean it'sbeen I've all done almost all the work
myself, so it's kind of beenhere and there. I don't know if
you know this about old piece ofcrap cars, they're very expensive, so
it's kind of when I can whereI can, what breaks fixing that?
So I've done all do all thework myself, except for rebuild a transmission
and reupholster the interior. Everything elsein the car. I've done. I

(41:17):
did myself. Wow. And nowthat it's done, are you going to
keep it? Are you going tosell it? Well, that gets to
the worst part of the weekend. It burnt to the ground on Saturday,
and that's why hold on, holdon, yep, hold on, yep.
Okay, little context. Kevin wasat our giveaway on Thursday and he

(41:39):
was in the running to win SeeThem All twenty twenty four. It came
down to a spin. If hewould have doubled his points, he would
have won See Them All. Hedid not because Jonathan Garcia he lost.
He lost the wheel. So thenyou go and you, you know,
drown your sorrows and driving your sixtysix that what you said, sixty six

(42:01):
sixty six Barracuda and it burns tothe ground. Were you in it?
I was driving the car at thetime, correct, Oh damn. And
you were like, well that smellslike smoke. Well yeah, So a
new starter got put in not toolong ago, and I was out just
kind of test driving it around.Sounded like it was missing a little bit,

(42:24):
which happened from time to time withthe carbureted vehicle. So I pulled
over to the side of the road, popped the hood and a fireball comes
out of the engine bay. AndI happened to be like in between towns,
not really in this town, notreally in that town. And it
took the fire department, which dida great job. I appreciate them showing

(42:45):
up about twenty five minutes figure outthere. So I got to watch my
car burn for almost half an hour. Oh god man, And is it
recoverable or is it done? Itis totaled? And what did you have
it insured? I did. It'sbeen very nice. It's actually an insurance
company that specializes in classic cars,so they've been very very awesome to work

(43:08):
with, which is a new experiencework with insurance companies. So will you
then get a new classic car orright, will you go through this process
again? I think yes, hellout. So you'll take your insurance money

(43:30):
and be like, well, thisis it. Yeah, I mean we'll
you know, never say never, but for the time being, no,
it's going to go into the bankand we'll see what happens in the future.
But no, am I I'm notinterested in getting their classic car.
They are a pain. They tryto kill you half the time. I'm
out and do you have pictures?Do you have pictures and video? I

(43:54):
did not. I had a passerby actually had to call by one one
because I was one wrong coat awayfrom walking my phone. Because I kept
trying, I couldn't even enter myown passco unlock my bow. My hands
were shaken so bad. Your anxietywas just so over the top that you
were in the roof. So intwenty five minutes, you're just like,

(44:15):
ha ha, how big of ashriek did you make when you opened that
hood and the fireball plummeted out?I someone else have to tell me.
I'm sure there was a girlish outcry, but I was afraid it was good.
The whole thing was going to blowup. So I was literally in
my mind running for my life.Wow, And at any point in the

(44:37):
last twenty four hour hours have youwent well? At least I don't need
to find out if I tightened thatbolt enough. Yeah. No, they're
always bolts to tighten. That's that'sjust part of the gear. That's life,
isn't it. Dude. Well,I'm glad you're okay. That is
obviously not awesome news, but we'reglad you're okay. Yeah, yeah,

(44:59):
it could have been worse. Butbut that was a lot of busted knuckles
and and yeah, just just tosit there and watch it burn was quite
the experience. Did you have tocall your your wife to come get you?
I did? And how far fromhome were you? I was about
seven miles from a house that wasthe Boonies. Yeah, I was,

(45:20):
like I said, I'm not notwasn't far from home. It was just
you know, kind of where Ilive is in between towns, out in
the rural area out in there whereif you call the cops, the sheriff
show up, not the town police. Right. Yeah, yeah, so
well not too far from the house. But you know, glad you're okay,
Kevin, and and sorry for theloss of your barracuda. All right,
man, bunny, see you later. Who that might be? Man,

(45:42):
we've heard people talk about death rightYou're like, oh, man,
that's sense aside. I'm sorry. And that one you're like, oh no,
all that money, all that timegone. Robert is on Robert what's
the best and what's the worst?Uh best this weekend with uh We haven't
got to see one of our grandsonsfor about a year, and we finally

(46:07):
made mends with his parents, whichis our son and daughter in law,
and anyway, we got to spendthe weekend with him three other grand babies.
We took him to the Red FernsFestival down in Teleclaw and just kind
of hung out there. They gotthe ride horses, bounce house and so
forth and so on. It wasjust an awesome weekend for sure, wonderful.

(46:27):
Right on. What's the worst? Then the worst is probably hearing about
the poort nite nsult. This whatwe can for sure that was. That
was probably the worst part of myweekend because you know, a lot of
devastation, a lot of uh justa lot of people lost their businesses and
stuff down there. For sure.It was just that's that was a very
bad deal. Right on, Robert, have a fantastic week sir, thank

(46:52):
you, see you letter. Bestand worst of the weekend. Best Andy
be'es yesterday with the wife and girlfriend. Worst, didn't get any projects done
at home. Best of the weekend. I have my daughter and her cousins
and I let them paint me uplike the joker. Worst part of the
weekend. Right after getting my motorof out of my truck, it started

(47:13):
pissing and pouring, and I passedout before I could cover it up.
Oh so from exhaustion. Best myson got married in his new in law's
gorgeous backyard. Worst later that nighta tornado came through and took out some
of the trees that made the backyardso beautiful. Oh No, Worst had

campuses against the israel Hamas Ward tokeep demonstrations peaceful. National Security Council spokesman
John Kirby said the President understands thereare very strong feelings about the war in
Gaza. However, he condemned antisemiticlanguage and threats of violence seen it some
demonstrations. Protests have erupted at collegecampuses around the country, with some turning

(55:50):
into encampments. Some Republican leaders havedemanded JB deploy the National Guard. I
don't know if that's necessary A littletoo much, I think yeah, I
think it's like, it is veryAmerican to protest something, for sure,
but when it gets violent or people'ssafeties in question, obviously that is a
problem. Yes, people's safety.Trump's your ability to protest once you do

(56:15):
it in a violent nature, notokay, it's all out the window,

And how about just being a dick, right, a giant? Heard

(56:59):
prison at Trump and Florida Governor RonDeSantis met in Miami to make amends and
discuss fundraising. According to the WashingtonPost, the two met Sunday for a
private meeting broken by political allies, that resulted in DeSantis agreeing to assist Trump.
The pair had reportedly not talked sinceDeSantis dropped out of the race and

(57:21):
in January, continuously taking shots fromone another throughout their campaign. It makes
sense for them to meet one fromthe fundraising standpoint two, he's in search
of a vice presidential candidate, sohe has to look everywhere, right,
he has to find the best personthat will help him win, right,
So it makes sense for him togo meet for them to to try and
figure that out. I'm sorry,true, it's okay, Right, That's

(57:45):
what's so crazy about politics. Right, They're like, hey, it's fine,

of Apor Premier uniform for the criticizeduniforms instead of jersey manufacturer fanatics. I
hate that take. I hate theMajor League Baseball is not taking any ownership
in the decision process, like theyjust like, we just trusted Nike.
Yeah, which sounds okay, right, but also, you're still major league.
You're a major brand, and youcan't it just sounds crazy to think

(59:40):
they just were like, Wow,we just trusted them. We never checked
it, yeah, or tried itout on a few teams. Right,

career, missing two games his rookieseason, sixteen games in twenty twenty one,

(01:00:23):
and the full season in twenty twentytwo. Someone's still pain. That's
so crazy to me. And keepin mind he was eleventh in the first
round. Yeah, that's the draft. Mean, that's why it's so silly
to have mister irrelevant, because itdoesn't matter where you land. Right.
However, he did play sixteen gameslast season, starting all sixteen. Okay

There we go. So we havethis really cool feature on the iHeartRadio
I called the Talkmac feature and it'slittle microphone and that's just another way of
you commute. You can communicate withus. And I listened to this one
from last week and I was like, what, so, here we go.
I was just going to tell astory about my younger brother getting these
nuts cut caught in a milk cray. Okay, that's it. That's it.

(01:05:02):
You can literally say anything you want, even if your nuts get got
in a milk crate. Okay, there's so much going on there. How
how one why were you sitting nakedon a milk crate? That? That's
my number one I get. Maybenot maybe they fell out of the bottom

(01:05:25):
of the shorts, it got tangledup in one of the little holes.
But our skinny dipping fishing, whichis a new sport, okay, and
you're exhausted from trying to wrestle inthis big mouse. Uh huh. The
milk Crate Challenge and you then sitdown and then you know, sometimes you
can't undo a Rubik's cube. No, you cannot, and you get up

(01:05:47):
and you have a milk crate attachedto it. Oh, what were you
gonna say, lindsay the milk cratechallenge where you stack milk crates and try
to climb them. Yep, okay, yeah, that's possible too. Sad
one, I'm not sad actually thatwe're not going to hear that story.
What story we are going to hearis because our listeners are awesome, and
that's what it's time for. Let'sgo ahead and talk to this week's Our

(01:06:08):
listeners are awesome. And Adam ison, Hey, Adam, how are
you good? Man? Good?Just before we get going, have you
ever had your balls or ball stuckin a milk crate? Oh? I
can't say that I have. Howwould you a weirda? How would you
think at individual's ball or balls couldget stuck in a milk crate? I

(01:06:30):
don't know. That sounds pretty kinkyto me. You and I have a
definitions of kinky. Adam is evenmarried twenty one years? Man, congratulations?
What's the secret of being married twentyone years? I think we're a
good team. We always call ourselvesa team, so helping everybody out.

(01:06:53):
How did you meet her? Wemet in high school or in a drug
treatment program. We've both gotten outof rehab situations and met in there and
just stuck together since then. Isit safe to say that you guys have
a different type of bond than alot of merit couples because of coming out

(01:07:15):
of that really intense situation together.Yeah. I think. I think we
started out because we were in kindof that group therapy kind of situation of
just being completely honest and stuff, and so it was everything was kind of
on the table. Yeah, Iwould think so, right, especially with
like accountability, not just with sobriety, but accountability with pretty much everything,

(01:07:39):
and you kind of learn how tokeep each other accountable. Is that fair
for me to make that assumption?Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, definitely.
It says here that you were aformer and I didn't know this was a
thing. Professional skydiver? What's thedifference between a professional skydiver Adam and an
amateur skydiver? I had several instructorratings and worked my way like that was

(01:08:04):
my job basically during college and everythingduring the season was too. I was
a rigger, which is like packingparachutes and repairing parachutes and that sort of
thing, and then also had severalinstructor ratings and was a coach for experienced

(01:08:26):
guydivers to kind of enhance their skills, like whether for competition or just getting
into different aspects of the sport.Did you, Adam ever pack a parachute
that did not open? One time? I did, but I've never I've

(01:08:49):
never had I've never gone to myreserve at all. But you've packed it
for someone else that they had togo to their reserve. Yeah, one
time? What was that? Whatwas that like when when you found out?
I mean, is there guilt? Is there a punishment? Do you
lose a stripe? Like? Idon't know, no, I mean,

(01:09:12):
it's just one of those things thathappens. And sometimes people can have a
malfunction because of poor body position, like during their openings and that sort of
thing. So I don't know exactly. I mean basically, it was just
some it was some line twists andstuff that I had packed thousands up top

(01:09:32):
thousands of parachute. So what I'mhearing you say is a miss a non
a parachute that isn't deployed, couldnot deploy for many reasons, not just
it's for imprint certain packing correct, yep uh. And have you ever seen

(01:09:54):
somebody parachute not open at all?Have you ever witnessed that happen even there
were no no, no. Theway that the technology has come along and
all that kind of stuff, Imean that they are developed to open like
that is I wouldn't even worry aboutthat. Now I've been skydiving. It

(01:10:17):
is a surreal experience. The descentdown before your parachute deploys is a tadbit
chaotic, but not not that chaotic. It's just intense. And then when
the parachute opens and deploys, itis one of the most most serene things
I've ever witnessed. As someone who'sdone gazillions of times and is a professional

(01:10:39):
skydiver, what would you say isthat an accurate description? Yeah? No,
absolutely, And especially when you firstget started and you're doing you're flying
bigger parachutes and that sort of thing. I kind of got into an area
where it's flying really aggressive, fastparachute. It's kind of like, fuck.

(01:11:04):
The difference between flying like a sessanaor F sixteen in so thesessma is
that nice smooth flow ride and allthat kind of stuff, and then you
get into doing like swooping and allthat kind of stuff and you really get
moving. So there's differences. Itjust kind of depends on what you're looking

(01:11:26):
for. A lot of people progressand it sounds like that's what you're describing.
As you know, they do tandemand then they do some solos and
then they go into like a speedscenario like you just described, and then
some people jump to squirrel suits.Did you ever do that? I've jumped
a few out of planes. Ihaven't done it as like a base jumping
sort of situation. What was thatlike for you? Doing now for those

(01:11:48):
who don't know, a squirrel suitis a wingsuit that has wings, right,
Yes, what was that like foryou? How was your anxiety during
that? I wouldn't say my anxietywas that. I mean when you first
leave and you're first kind of gettingthat feel for it, But that's one

(01:12:10):
of the things that is it iskind of that serene feeling because everything slows
down and you've got this this glidepath and you can really see the terrain
moving underneath you and all that kindof stuff. It's a cool experience.
Where's probably the coolest location you've everjumped at, coolest low cut that we

(01:12:40):
flew down, threw our planes downto Padre Island one time and jumped on
the beach for like a week andjust kind of played and had fun and
partied and just skydived all day. What made you want to get into skydiving.
I've been around aviation my whole life. My father had his commercial license

(01:13:04):
and multi engine and all that kindof stuff. So ever since I was
a kid, I've been around planesand stuff, and it was just something
I always wanted to do. Andis there a time that you almost didn't
make it? It says here toask you about the time you almost didn't

(01:13:24):
make it. I mean when Iwas younger, because I started when I
was in high school and we hada drop zone owner that kind of let
us me and a couple other peoplekind of go off the reservation a little
bit, breaking the rules a littleand had some low exiting out of the

(01:13:49):
airplane much lower than we should havebecause of weather and stuff like that.
And so I did have a situationwhere I had pretty severe line with and
it was too low to go tomy reserve, so I ended up having
to kick my way out of that. And basically once I got my line

(01:14:09):
twists cleared, it was flare andland. I mean I had full canopy
for maybe three seconds or something. And how was the impact? It really
wasn't that bad. I kind ofslid in on my button stuff and then

(01:14:29):
I was like, man, I'mnot doing that again because the ceiling was
only at like seven hundred feet. But as soon as I started packing,
my buddy came up to me andwas like, here, ready to go
again. I was like, I'mnot doing that and he was like,
well, I already put you onthe list, so we went again.
You know, what's the worst injuryyou've ever had skydiving? I broke my

(01:14:54):
back one time. What's that feellike? What's that feel like when you
break your back? Can you describethat? Well? When I hit,
I felt my shoulder blades bang intomy hip bones and then I stood up.
I just hopped up for a second. My boss said it looked like

(01:15:20):
the stuntman on the Simpsons when hejumps the shark. Tankerer like I set
up, waved at everybody and thenI fell over and then my girlfriend at
the time now my wife, droveme to Think Francis, about an hour
and a half away, and bythe time we got there, I couldn't

(01:15:45):
I couldn't really feel my legs anymore. So how scared were Yeah, I
was pretty darn worried man at thatage, and kind of the things that
I was doing, I was.I was pretty down but and thinking,
man, I cannot handle being ina wheelchair. But but after about a

(01:16:09):
day, the swelling went down aroundthe spinal cord and stuff, and so
then I started getting feeling back andit was pretty painful rocking and stuff for
a few months. What was itthat made you get us to stop doing
skydiving? Yeah, just family stuff, you know. Once I got out

(01:16:32):
of college and was started working andthen having a kiddo and all that kind
of stuff, it just kind ofslowed down doing doing those sorts of things.
And and now I'm like, I'vemade it, made a few last
year. But I also had apretty bad motorcycle accident about five years ago,

(01:16:56):
and my leg still isn't quite there, and and just yeah, what
happened in what happened in the motorcycleaccident. I was going through a construction
zone and there was an odd cutin the road and stuff, and I
flipped my bike down, which landedon me, and I broke my tib

(01:17:18):
fib split the plateau of my tibia. So I've got all kinds of plates
and screws and pins and stuff, and it's just still kind of working on
get my quad strength back. Yeah, as someone who's jumped out of airplanes
professionally, thousands of jumps, let'shundreds of jumps, what is an extreme

(01:17:41):
sport to you? What is oneyou see and got no way? Yeah,
Honestly, I've got friends that dothe wing suit base jumping and stuff
where they're going in such close proximity, eat the cliffs and stuff. Like
I've got a friend that flew througha waterfall and stuff and like, and

(01:18:08):
it just makes my hands sweat becausewatching their videos, it just that freaks
me out. Have you let yoursixteen year old child do skydiving? H
No, I have not, butand I don't know that now I could

(01:18:28):
even sign for him to do it. I think he might have to wait
for him to be eighteen. Butbut he's a different, he's different than
me. He doesn't really have anyinterest in it. Does that make you
happy? Oh? Either way?You know, I kind of am of
that mindset, Like my parents didn'twant me to play football or any of

(01:18:51):
that kind of stuff because they wereworried about me getting hurt. And it's
like, I'm going to figure outa way to get hurt if I'm gonna
get hurt in the way. Ifthat was something that he was interested in
doing, I would I would supporthim in doing it. I have kind
of a question to ask that isoff the radar for me to ask,

(01:19:13):
but I just drew a conclusion, and I want to see if I'm onto
something you said when you were youngerand how you met your wife was you
came out of rehab. And it'snot uncommon for people that come out of
rehab to chase that next high ina different way. Some do shopping,
some do gamblings. They just findsomething else to chase that high. Some
people grow hot peppers, right,Like, it's just a thing. Do

(01:19:34):
you think skydiving became that thing foryou? Absolutely? Yeah. That was
my new addiction. And I meanit was like once I made my first
one and then I was back thenext weekend. Like it was. And

(01:19:54):
then within a month or two Ihad gotten a job at the drop Zone
learning how to pack parachutes, Like, how can I how can I afford
to do this as a as ayoung person that isn't work working, you
know? Yeah, you loved itso much you were like, how can

(01:20:15):
I make this happen? Right?Yeah? Yeah? And so I even
worked like to get my first rate, my first parachute and system and everything.
I worked two jobs and worked atthe drop Zone and was going to
high school just to like try toget there. Yeah. So what is

(01:20:36):
the thing now that feeds that, you know, to scratch that itch in
your life? If you if you'renot doing skydive anymore, it sounds like
you're not riding as much anymore, right, Yeah. Now, I I'm
a bit of a workaholic. I'mconstantly doing that, and I'm just I

(01:20:57):
kind of keep moving all the time. I don't sit down. I don't
really watch much for TV when Iget home. I'm kind of tasting around
and working on little things and doingdoing stuff all the time. Don't allow
don't allow a runway for your mindto go right right, Yeah, Adam,

(01:21:18):
It's been great talking to you man, thanks for sharing your story about
skydiving and uh all that stuff.Man, It's like I said, Scot
Davin, is a unique experience thatmaybe everybody should experience once in their life.
And and it was a great pleasureto talk to you. Yeah,
you too. I love you thatlisten every day. All right, buddy,
we love you too. Man.Be well, thanks so much.

(01:21:39):
All right, thank you see later. That's Adam. Our listeners are awesome.
We're going to take a break andwe'll be back. Tulsa's Morning Show
is coming right back, a bigmorning show, Tulsa's rock station. Good

(01:22:02):
morning. It's the Big Mad MorningShow KMOT. You can also text bmms
and then what you want to sayto eight two nine four five. Coming
up. Jeff Finsley's gonna join us. You got a question about divorce,
custody, guardian ship, any ofthose things. Jeff will be in to
answer your questions. Feel free toget your question to us ahead of time.

(01:22:25):
Email addresses show at kmod dot com, or you can text it bmms
and whatever that question is to eighttwo nine four five. It's not uncommon
one relationships into get back at yourX in some capacity little revenge Yeah,
my revenge would probably always have beenlike talking us about them to other people.

(01:22:47):
Oka. I never like keyed theircar, all right, ding dong
ditch to them, right, putmayonnaise under the door handle of their car.
I'm just saying, you throwing examplesout there. You know, that's
just one way to get I didn'tknow that was one. Yeah, yeah,
okay, sugar in the gas tank. Well, apparently a bitter ex

(01:23:12):
boyfriend sent over fifty food orders toa woman's apartment for a prank. That's
revenge. Well, fifty is alot, that's annoyance. Yeah, yeah,
it's not like fifty like over thecourse of you know, two years,
what like a day I'm at Yeah, a couple of hours, someone

(01:23:32):
using fake names and phone numbers placedthe orders from dozens of restaurants and had
them all sent to the same address. And apparently video from the neighborhood caught
all this happening happening. None ofthe restaurants are even bothering to file a
complaint, Yeah, because they paidfor a right, it seems like a
waste of a lot of money.Definitely, I'd be like he'd call over

(01:23:57):
some friends and be like, hey, come on, over and eat right.
Yeah, but what if it's notgood? Right? Not my problem?
Well, there is your problems. You're gonna fte ah, got some
free food for you. We're notsure if it's going to be good or
not, but hey, it's free. I've never eaten that, you know,
Bob Snake restaurant and fifty settle downjust because you're a loyal member,

(01:24:21):
right, so good, right,it's delicious. I'm fifty people, maybe
ten, but fifty people, fiftyrestaurants. That's a lot of food.
That stuff like I'd like to say, you know, okay, you can
put some of it in your fridge. You don't have to, you know,

(01:24:43):
eat it all right now, maybetomorrow then, But that's only going
to last for so long, right, That food's only really good for a
couple of days after you put itin your fridge. Okay, let's just
say five you're ordering from, becausefifty is an insane amount of restaurants.
Oh yeah, five restaurants to getrevenge on some What restaurants are you picking?

(01:25:04):
Well, McDonald's for one, becauseand you're gonna get the fries because
by the time they get there, they're gonna be cold, right, okay,
so they won't be great. Umsomewhere that has let's see, we'll
say Wendy's for their chili. Okay, give them some some gas go with

(01:25:30):
maybe Indian food from somewhere. Yeah, okay, yeah, I love any
food. It stinks, Yeah,it just does. Never had it before.
It's not for everyone. Oh dude, we gotta go get some chicken
tiki massala Okay, it's okay, and something uh some uh, some Italian

(01:25:57):
some real garlicy Italian food maybe okaythem some real bad breath yeah, and
then hmmm yeah, some real badpizza maybe, I guess pineapple and ham.
There you go, okay, GIMPIYeah, that's a tough one.
I think like ice cream should beon that list somewhere. My hopes there

(01:26:20):
is like it's gonna take a littlewhile, it's gonna be melted by the
time you get there, and thenyou just have a cup of goop,
you know what I mean. Okay, That's where I'm at on that one.
But that more inconvenience is the driver. I feel like that's delivering why
so well, because it might meltall over them. I mean, I
don't think they hold it in theirlap true some like. You know,

(01:26:41):
I'm not a big pizza fan,of course, you know, I eat
it is I but you know,so I think I think a couple of
pizzas to one person's house would benot just one large. You know,
you've got like four large pizzas thatyou're gonna have to deal with. Okay,
and all vegetarian by the way,but cherry and pizzas or whatever.
Not're not gonna give you the meats, oh get because we're broke up.

(01:27:04):
That's right, no meats for you, bitch. So and then, of
course, of course there has tobe like a fast food burger joint or
something there. Lindsay's got a verygood point with the fries being cold,
but my thought is the vegetables onthe burger getting all wilty and disgusting because

(01:27:24):
you know it's been sitting with someheat on them for a little while.
So cold fries, warm lettuce nevergood. Let's go ahead and throw in
some soggy tacos while we're at it, Okay, and let's see before there
you go one more and let's gowith a bowl of soup of sorts soup,

(01:27:47):
right, yeah, okay, Ilove the Indian food. That absolutely
Indian food. It stinks so bad. I don't hate in the ice cream.
I think that's smart. I don'tlove the pizza one because it isn't
the you know, like they havethat episode The Office where they hold the
pizza guye delivery right because they don'twant to pay that Those days are gone,
right. Most pizza you pay forbefore they ever deliver it. So

(01:28:08):
if I could do the you haveto pay, I'm down for that.
So I'm doing Indian food, icecream, sushi, okay, and none
of it with rice or soy paper, straight raw pieces of fish. And
then I'm also going to order somesort of Sishwan super spicy, some sort

(01:28:30):
of Sishwan type of dish would begood. Thai food okay, Thai food
always sounds good. I think youcan throw in like a some sort of
seafood place. Little ljs, Okay, that makes sense, Little Little Captain
D's maybe, well that's gonna stink. Fish stinks and you're not putting in

(01:28:51):
your fridge. It stinks. Theperson text in truck stops sushi okay.
Yeah. Somebody texted earlier when wewere talking about dollar Store, like would
you ever eat that sushi. Imean maybe they still have to follow certain
parameters exactly. It may not bethe highest quality, you know, due
to price, right, but it'sstill gonna be ay, and it's gonna

(01:29:15):
have cream, cheese, avocada.I ain't getting like chef special right from
those places. I barely want toget it out of sushi place. So
the one says I'm ordering from thefurthest place away that will that will still
deliver, and only places that haveone star reviews, just bad bomb dog
water, that's a great plan.Yeah yeah, fine, rest go through

(01:29:38):
the yelp and see who's got theworst reviews and just order food from there.
Yeah yeah, yeah, I thinkyou got to go with food that
smells bad and can't be kept icecream, you know, dissolving in the
delivery guy's lap. Nice, right, nice, because they're getting their tip
and everything, no matter what. That's actually a good idea too, is

(01:29:59):
don't take right and then when theydeliver the food, they'll be like,
yo, where's my money? Yourbanana split is all over my lap,
which is also a movie Lenz's gonnatalk about in a minute. All right,
we got to take a break. We'll be back Tulsa's Morning show.
Oh yeah, he's coming right back, A big bad Morning show, Telsa's
rock station ninety seven to five KMOD. Good morning, It's the Big Mad

(01:30:33):
Morning shown when eight four six ohKMOD can also text bmms and then what
you want to say to eight twonine four five. The draft was this
weekend, of course, and init the commissioner did some interviews and one
of them he said that when theyexpand eighteen games in the NFL, they'll

(01:30:57):
push a week and the super Bowlwill be President's Day weekend, okay,
which some people maybe fifty percent haveoff on Monday. Amazing, Okay,
Yeah, I don't like that,so there won't be a day off for
everyone. They're not moving into aSaturday. But the commission said that he

(01:31:17):
would possibly that could be a thingthat would play out and they would have
it that weekend. I don't hatethat. I don't hate that either.
And everybody always complains we need theday after super Bowl off holiday, right
right, so good work the schedulearound the calendar. I feel like a
lot of those people didn't even reallywatch a lot of football, all right,

(01:31:43):
you know what I mean? Ohyeah, they just like to say
that so they can get a dayoff and they just go for the food,
right in the commercial and the halftimeshow. I think I think if
you're a fan of the team, like your team's in it, for sure,
you should have the next day off, right. But if your team's
not in it and you're just ahanger on her, get back to work.
Yeah, yeah, don't go sohard. Why a you're going so
hard it ain't your team, right. But with the draft, there was

(01:32:06):
some pretty awesome moments in the draft. I thought the I thought the Bears
had a pretty good draft. Ithink Caleb Williams is going to be super
entertaining. I think that there's gonnabe an interesting growth that goes on.
They also drafted this punter who's likethis crazy good punter out of Iowa,
and he texted him. Caleb allegedlytext the punter and said, we're not

(01:32:30):
going to need you much, whichis a great take. Yeah, that's
a great take. Also, becareful. Yeah, this is not college,
which, by the way, youstruggled a little bit the last year,
so we'll see how that goes. But some teams they say that didn't
do well. The Cowboys didn't havea good draft. It says they did

(01:32:53):
bolster their offensive line, but it'shard to see how they improved dramatically,
especially compared with the Eagles, whoconsidered they believe had a really good draft.
The Dolphins. They had seven picksdespite losing a third rounder, and
none of them said impact or developmentalpotential. The Raiders went into the draft
desperately needing long term answers at quarterback, and they still didn't get a quarterback.

(01:33:18):
And then the Falcons, who hadthe most shocking draft out of anyone,
because they just signed Kirk Cousins toa major deal and then they draft
one of the top quarterbacks. Peoplewere shocked by that. What does that
mean for Kirk Cousins? Does thatmean they don't have faith in him?
Why they send him to a multiyear, hundred million dollar deal. So,

(01:33:43):
and this isn't a Pennox, isn'ta great quarterback. He's injury prone,
right right. Maybe they just wantedto snatch him up before anybody else
did, right, So it kindof like limits their competition a little bit.
I guess, yeah, I don't. That's the only thing I could
think of. The Chargers thought thatthey would get some weapons for Herbert,
and instead they got an alignment namedJoe Alt, who's a stud. And

(01:34:08):
two great things out of that one. It shows the type of football he's
trying to make happen there. Harbo'sknown for being a in the trenches kind
of guy. He wants his linemento be really aggressive and let the other
to give more time for everybody elseto do their job. And that guy
from Notre Dame. But go lookat the video the footage of his girlfriend
and all the pictures of Joe Altand his girlfriend, because the joke was

(01:34:31):
that she was being held hostage. She looked so terrified, and all the
picture not like the Russell Wilson onewhere she is easily the best footage of
anybody ever getting drafted. So thatone's pretty good. And then the other
thing was, Oh, people weredogging about the Chiefs because they got Xavier
Worthy, which people couldn't believe. How did they get the fastest guy in

(01:34:55):
the draft? How did the otherteams let the Chiefs get the fastest this
guy in the draft? Why arethey letting them get a receiver that's so
fast? I saw a great tweetand it said Xavier Worthy did a four
two forty, and then they namedsomebody else on the team that is a
four to four to forty and RushieRice one hundred and nineteen miles per hour
because of what he did. Andthen this is pretty awesome. This is

(01:35:19):
Kean Coleman. He is got draftedby the Buffalo Bills. This isn't awesome.
He's the press conference started. Heis unaware, and listen to this
fun conversation he's having with somebody.Huh cool here, man, you forgotten
what is going Michigan for two years. Guess what I got this? Wrong?
Though I wan'na say you got aguess you're gonna be wrong, but

(01:35:40):
guess nah, Macy's what do youmean? Guess where I got this jacket?
You'll be wrong, but guess Macy'sfucked brilliant, right? He looks
so entertaining. I can I domore thing for the draft because it's so

(01:36:13):
funny and not so. It's notuncommon for players from previous years to come
back and make announcements for their teamof who they draft. And this guy
was known to have kind of adyslexia problem and had trouble reading and whatever.
But he gets pick to make theannouncement for the Chiefs and it's Jamal

(01:36:35):
Charles. And so here is JamalCharles making the Chiefs selection in the draft.
I'm happy to be able to backto back. Kansas City Chief is
a trade the Sama City Sama Citypoint at nine has had traded at sixty

draft. Can't see so they Cansleyto a Maya from b Yu tackle Chief.
Yeah, okay, it's the Chiefsthat I'm aware of. Maybe he
was the S was just kind ofhanging on. Yeah, but it was
kind of surprising to hear him makehis announcement. I was excited that the

(01:37:18):
Rams took someone from my hometown,Braden Fiskey's He graduated from my high school,
oh the same year, No,how many years later eighteen? He
is a twenty eighteen grad But thatis really cool. And he's the first
player ever from your school. Yeah, as far as I know. Did

(01:37:41):
the other connection. Oh and someonethat I went to high school with taught
him. He was he was hisEnglish teacher. Oh yeah, small world.
And he went back to visit himbefore the draft. Do you think
he went to the same convenience storeyou've been to. Oh, of course
definitely maybe been on the same roads, yes, but it is it's so

(01:38:01):
cool someone from my hometown going toplay in the NFL. It's awesome.
And there's your Balls of the Wallsports. I'm Lindsay on ninety seven five

just four months away from rock Oklahomaevery day weekend prior to USA get your
full lineup. You link for ticketsand everything you need to know about rock
Lahoma. I had the website thatrocks Lahoma kmodi dot com. All right,
it's time for Jeff Finsley to joinus from Hensley and associate. It's

(01:39:09):
good morning, Jeff. Oh that'snot it. Hold on a second here,
Good morning, Jeff, Hey,good morning are you good, and
Jeff is here to answer any questionyou have about divorce, custody, guardianship,
name change, any of those thingsthat happened before we get started.
Jeff, I wanted to ask youa question because I like to take things
from the news with celebrities to seehow they apply to us. And in

(01:39:31):
the one that I want to bringup, it was in the news this
morning that Britney Spears is kind ofbeen reckless and doesn't have her money's dwindling
away, and we all are familiarwith the story of what and where she
lives. A conservatorship was taken awayand she's got to do what she wanted.
Can you put a conservatorship in thisconversation back on somebody? Can you

(01:39:55):
reget could reapply for a guardianship aftersomebody after it's already and dissolved, you
know in Oklahoma you can. Imean, obviously it's there for a particular
amount of time. The idea isto allow the person to get better,
to make better decisions, that sortof thing medical or whatever it may have
have you, but whatever she youknow, in this particular case, yeah,

(01:40:19):
I mean, if she went toofar off the deep end again,
which I think she has. Butyou know that's a whole nother story,
and you're dealing with massive amounts ofmoney and time and attorneys and everything else.
But yees, in Oklahoma, youknow, guardianships are temporary in theory.
They can be put back on somebodyshould they be needed for whatever reason

(01:40:39):
to keep harm from coming to thatperson or whatever it may be. So
yes, in Oklahoma, you cando that, that's correct. What would
be the signs This might be atough question for you to answer. What
are the signs you look for whenyou want to get in a guardianship on
someone who's an adult. Well,I mean you've got to look to see
can they make their own decisions? And they make you know, a lot

(01:41:01):
of times if adults were dealing witheither mentally incapacitate and mentally incapacity adults or
autistic individuals or people on the spectrumthat can't live on their own, they
can't manage their own money, theycan't you know, make any kind of
real decisions for themselves, medically orotherwise. So same thing with older people,

(01:41:25):
you know, when they get tothat stage where they're unable to make
good decisions for themselves or whatever,it's and it's to protect the individual.
That's the whole idea behind it.That was the whole idea behind Britney Spears,
I believe was you know, shewasn't making good decisions again, not
that she's making great decisions now,but you know, being able to make

(01:41:47):
your own safe decisions for yourself, medically, financially, those kind of things.
Those are what guardianships are really inplace for for adults, is to
make sure those people are taken careof. What are the steps to get
a guardianship if you think an adultaround you is in need of it?
Say that one more time. Whatare the steps you need to take if

(01:42:09):
you want to get a guardianship onanother adult? Sure, so you know,
you want to contact us so thatwe can get a petition on file.
And you know, if it's amedical thing, we need to get
medical notes from doctors to show thatthey're unable to take care of themselves or
unable to make their own decisions orwhatever it may be. If it's a
mental thing, you know, youreally just you've got to get a list

(01:42:30):
of all their finances. Because whatwe have to do with an adult,
unlike a child, is is thatthere is an accounting once you are a
guardian of all the finances and thingsof that nature. So you need to
start gathering that information, those kindof informations. Jeff Finsley's joining us from
Hensley and Associates. Have you gota question about divorce, custody or guardianships,
Jeff can answer them right now.A text one that just came in

(01:42:54):
said, does a legal separation haveto have different residents? No? No,
they don't have to have different residences. They can be completely the same
and be legally separated. I meana lot of times, and it used
to be far more common, Ithink, in the past than it is

(01:43:15):
today. But you know, peoplefor religious reasons have to get separations as
opposed to divorce. There's certain faithsout there that frown on divorce, and
so people get legal separations and sometimesthey continue living in the same space.
Sometimes they don't. But no,you don't. You're not required. It's
not a legal requirement. You havea different address for the two of you.

(01:43:36):
You can continue to live in thesame space. That's completely fine.
So when you file for separation,it's really are you're saying you're legally separated?
You're just designating that we are nolonger a couple or a team.
Well, so it's like you're divorced, but you're not divorced. And what
I mean by that is is everythingis done as though you are in a

(01:43:56):
divorce, except that you are stilllegally married. So you know, you
separate all your assets, you separateall your debts, We do, you
know, custody and visitation schedules. We do everything we would do in a
divorce, except that you are stilllegally married. But you are quote legally
separated, but you are still legallyyoked legally married, so that way,

(01:44:20):
there's not a divorce on record. What are some things you have to watch
out for in that scenario when youare trying to go through a divorce to
avoid any complications that could arise. It's not uncommon for people that are separated
or even divorced to hook up occasionally. Is that something you would advise against?
Taking out loans together? What aresome of the things you should watch

(01:44:43):
out for? Yeah, I mean, if you're going to be legally separated,
you don't want to be taking loansand stuff out because again, we've
separated all the debts, we separatedall the asset. It acts as as
a divorce in the sense of separatingthings, except that your quote still legally
divorced. For for a legal standpoint, as far as taking out loans and
things like that, yeah, youdon't want to do that. You don't.

(01:45:05):
You know, if you want tohook up, that's up to you.
You know, that's that's something thathappens quite often, even in the
end divorces. I never forget.I had a mediation one time where my
client and I were sitting there andhe was talking about how they'd hooked up
the night before the mediation. Soyou know, it's if you want to
do those things, that's fine.I mean, you're still legally married at

(01:45:27):
that point, you're not dwarfed. But it's more of the financial things that
I would suggest against. I wouldn'tsuggest going out and getting loans and buying
houses together and all that. Ifyou're legally separated, I would stay away
from those kind of things. Ilove this question, Jeff. This one
says my step son's biological father wantsto sign his rights away from the baby.

(01:45:48):
Where do I get that form?Well, you can't and not in
Oklahoma. It's not been that wayfor thirty or forty years. So in
Oklahoma, there's only two ways tosign your rights away. They're a through
an adoption of some sort, whetherit be a step parent adoption or another
or a different kind of adoption,or if the state takes your right or

(01:46:09):
you can sign your rights away ina deprived child action. But those are
the only two ways in Oklahoma aparent, male or female can sign their
rights away in regards to a child. You can't just sign your rights away.
That doesn't exist in Oklahoma and hasit for a very long time.
There are states that do allow that. They're becoming fewer and far between,

(01:46:30):
I believe, but Oklahoma is notone of those states. So unless it's
a deprived child action or an adoption, you can't just sign your rights away.
It doesn't work that way. We'vetalked, we've talked before on the
air about people who make we callthem kitchen table agreements where they sign their
rights away or they sign them overto their grant their child's rights or to
their grandparents or something. Though youmay conduct that way, that's not that's

(01:46:54):
not legally binding, correct, right, that's correct. I mean, unless
you've got an order from a judgethat says something and assigned by a judge.
It's not a binding order. Imean, you can anybody can write
anything they want on a sheet ofpaper and sign it and say, oh,
well I've done this and this iswhat we've agreed to. Well that's
great in dandy, but at theend of the day, it's not a

(01:47:15):
legal binding document in any way, shape or form. So you know,
I applaud people who want to stepup and you know, step in for
kids that need help and need parentingand all that. I applaud those individuals,
but we need to do it theright legal way, which means you
give me a call so we cando guardianships and other things. So please
give us a call if you're contemplatingdoing any of those kind of things.

(01:47:39):
And in the text message, theycan. She can definitely take his note
saying that he doesn't want to bethe father anymore, and she can conduct
her life as if because she stillcan make decisions for that. Yeah,
exactly, But that doesn't absolve himof anything, and he can come back
at any time, right, correct, just like she can also go after

(01:48:00):
and for child support at anytime aswell. So yes, that is correct.
I mean if you want to dothat, great, but at the
end of the day he could comeback or she could come back. That's
correct. Jeff Finsley's joining us fromHensley and Associates. If you have any
questions about divorce, custody, guardianship, name changes, Jeff is here to
answer them nine one eight four sixl KMOD or you can text BMMS and
whatever that question is to eight twonine four five. This email says I

(01:48:23):
was just servant to force papers. The court date is about a week away.
I have no money for a lawyerat this time. Can I get
the court appearance postponed until I havetime to get a lawyer? Yeah?
I mean typically a judge will grantyou at least one pass of a thirty
to forty five day window to beable to hire an attorney. So yes,
whenever you're you're dealing with that andyou're, you know, needing more

(01:48:45):
time to hire an attorney, youjust say to the judge. Look,
you know, assuming this is thefirst time you're asking, Okay, you
know the judge is not going togive you five six seven eight passes to
hire an attorney. It's not goingto work that way. But if it's
your first time, you can sayto the judge, look, judge,
I am going to hire an attorney. I need some extra time to do
so. I'd like a pass. And you know, most judges will give

(01:49:06):
you thirty to forty five days ofa pass to be able to go and
find an attorney. Yes, thatis a thing, but again when you
start asking for it multiple times twothree, four, most judges won't do
that. You might get a secondif you're super lucky because the judge is
feeling sorry for you for some reason, but no more after that, it
is it just isn't going to happenbecause the judge at that point just sees

(01:49:29):
you as trying to delay things insteadof hiring an attorney. So first time
good, second time and beyond notso good. And what do you say
about showing up or not showing upto that appearance even though it's a week
away. You show up. Youalways show up. You never ever miss,
no matter what. Even if yourattorney misses for some reason because they
got miss calendared or whatever it maybe, or they had an accident or

(01:49:51):
whatever it may be, you alwaysshow up unless you're told by your attorney
otherwise for some reason you all weshow up. This one says, I
want to do a divorce, butI only have my husband's phone number.
What should I do to get hisaddress? Well, you can contact us
and hire us do the divorce, and I can find his address. It's

(01:50:15):
been a super rare current that Iwould haven't been able to find somebody,
So give me a call and we'dbe happy to help you. Well,
this is an example of why youneed an attorney groups like Hinsley Associates.
This is what you do is findpeople for divorces and things like that.
So you guys have the resources wherea common joe if you will, it's
going to be much more challenging forthem. Right absolutely, Yeah, this

(01:50:41):
as I filed divorce from a manand now he's filed a motion to dismiss.
I filed the divorce papers. Canhe get a divorce stopped? You
can't ever stop the divorce per SAEunless the parties agreed to dismiss. I
mean, once something is filed, just because you don't want to be involved
in it or you don't like thefact that somebody has filed, does not
mean that the divorce is going tostop or go away. If you choose

(01:51:05):
not to be involved in the proceedings, and there are things that the individual
or the attorney that we can doto move the divorce forward to get it
completed, even if you're not goingto be involved. So you know,
it goes back to that we alwaystalk about Sweet the movie Sweet Home Alabama,
where she has to get his signatures. It doesn't work that way in

(01:51:26):
Oklahoma. So you know, ifyou're not going to be involved, that's
fine. I'll file for default andmove around you. This is one that
might have a little bit of youropinion on it, but I would love
to get your take on how toavoid what this person's talking about. It
says, do you foresee it everchanging so that the father can be reimbursed
for overpaying child support? I willpaid two hundred dollars a month per year

(01:51:47):
and was advised quote tough. IfI underpaid, I know I would have
had to catch up. You know, it's a sticky situation. I mean,
if you've got if we discovered thatit's been overpaid, you still have
child support moving forward, that's owed. We can get you credits that way.
We do that all the time whenit comes to something where the child

(01:52:08):
support has stopped as the child's agedout and you realize you've been overpaying.
You know, I don't know.I've been arguing that same argument for fifteen
years of practice, and I thinkit's really crappy and stupid to the system
that men or women whoever overpay haveto fight so hard to try and get
something back. It shouldn't be thatway. I mean, there should be.

(01:52:30):
And by the way, if you'rein the legislature listening to me,
okay, listen to me when Isay this, Please, somebody write a
bill up that says anybody that overpaysafter a child is aged down should get
reimbursed in some way, because inmy opinion, it's unjustin Richmond, is
really what it is, and soit should be taking care of. But

(01:52:51):
the court don't let us prosecute itthat way. So do I ever foresee
it. I hope every day thatthere's a legislator out there who is far
morecerned about children than they are aboutother things in themselves that will finally bill
that would change all this, whichthat comes to the end of that question.

(01:53:13):
But I wanted to throw something inreal quick about a bill in the
legislature. There is a bill thatjust passed the legislature and has been signed
into law. And I'm not surewhen it goes into effect, if it's
November first or earlier, but thereis a new legal requirement that anybody who
is going to be a supervisor fora supervised visitation, and I don't mean
a professional group, I mean afamily member has to undergo background checks and

(01:53:36):
other things before they can become asupervisor for that case. So we finally
have some legislation on the books aslaw that will protect children much much more
than it has in the past inregards to supervised visitation. So just wanted
to throw that in there. Wellwhat was it before? How was it
set up before anybody can do it? Anybody? So if granny's got a

(01:54:00):
you know, multiple drug charges andarrests and stuff, as long as the
parties agree, it's okay. So, you know, it's something that we
had no real protections in my opinion, as to who the supervisors could be.
And now that we have something finallyon the law, and it was
actually written by a legislator out ofclaremore so, we have somebody in our

(01:54:25):
own northeast corner here who realized thatwe needed a bill like that. So
I just again I wish more legislators, especially in northeast from Oklahoma and if
you're from Claremore or Tulsa or thesurrounding areas, as a legislator listening,
please, we need other laws onthe books too to protect our children well.
And this kind of hits on thething you briefly touch on occasionally,

(01:54:47):
and that is, if you don'tlike the way something's happening, you need
to take better care on who youelect to represent you at the state level.
Absolutely. I mean they are beholdinto their costituents. That's true on
the state and the federal level both. So with that being said, if
you want changes, talk to yourlegislator. Go to their offices wherever they

(01:55:09):
are, send them emails, makephone calls, whatever it may be.
If you want something changed, don'tjust sit around and bitch and moan about
it, all right, call yourlegislator and talk to them about it.
Otherwise they don't know or they don'teven know it's on the radar. So
if you want to change, contactyour legislator. Don't yell at the judges,

(01:55:30):
don't yell at the attorneys. Wedon't have any control over that the
legislature does. So here you go. When you have a question of what
form do you need to get somethingdone, you are probably already going down
the wrong avenue on how to getsomething done correctly in the legal system,
especially with family law. That's whyyou need the folks at Hensley Associates to
help you out. They have theresources available to make sure those things are

(01:55:53):
done right the first time, becauseit's too important to get it wrong.
So make sure you call Jeff Finsleyand Hensley Associates to help you out with
the family lost scenario nine three nineeight five six nine two mentioned kmo D
get a free consultation over the phonenine eight three nine eight five six nine
two for Hinsling Associates and Jeff andthe crew will be able to help you
out again. Mention kmo D andJeff. You guys practice in other areas

(01:56:15):
of the law. Yeah, wedo. Absolutely. We've got our office
in Pahuska, and don't worry aboutthe location, all right. We have
attorneys up there that can help youwith anything in addition to family law.
So if you've got a car act, if you've been hurt by somebody in
the medical field. If you've gota probate issue, or if you've got
meaning it's you know, tied upin probate because grandma's died or something.

(01:56:38):
You need a will or trust, anything in addition to contract issues, oil
and gas, anything, in additionto family law. They can help,
So give them a call. It'sthe Shoemake Law from up there. It's
a different name, but it is. It is Hensley. We just left
the name as it is. Oryou can call us in Pulso and we
can hook you up with them aswell. So give us a call five

(01:56:59):
six nine two for associates. Jeff, have a great week, Hey too,
Thanks a lot, Take a breakand we'll be back. Til says
morning show. The Big Bad MorningShow continues. Good morning, It's the

(01:57:29):
Big Bad Morning Show. I've gota heaping helping of gross. Oh yeah,
a triple dip of gross for you. I'll try to start light and
then move to intents. So ifyou get triggered, easy start, you

(01:57:53):
can probably find for the first one, and then the last two you probably
will be triggered. But so so, this restaurant worker in Houston, Texas
is in trouble because he was dippinghis genitals in food. Gross fello.

(01:58:15):
Hold on a minute, Holmes twentyseven was dipping his genitals in jelly.
Oh what kind of joey. Theowners called the police and they arrested him
after viewing the video evidence. Butwhen they went through his phone, they

(01:58:39):
found thousands of child pornography files.Uh oh, sloty say. They started
investigating in early April regarding the fooddipping. He allegedly put his genital and

(01:59:00):
jelly, and that he had asexual urge. However, he stopped before
oh god, yeah, oh god. Quote the things I have seen and
the behavior that I have seen,it's very disturbing, according to the constable
in that area. When the restaurantfound out about his behavior going on,
they immediately shut down to everybody. They had not served a single pet patron

(01:59:27):
in the restaurant. He allegedly toldinvestigators that these urges, he has these
urges frequently and has a history ofsexual offenses, saying he has a problem
with these sexual urges and needs help. You think, yeah, yeah think.
The business went on the defense. It was like, we strongly believe
that this is an isolated incident andthat the resulting from a retaliatory measures due

(01:59:54):
to a demotion. They're saying hedid this because they decided to demote him
after the authorities kept investigating and theyfound he allegedly let them look through his
phone. They claimed to discover childsexual abuse material and also showed the defendant
engaged in sexual activities with himself andanother person in front of a child.

(02:00:17):
He said, we're gonna keep investigatingthis guy and see what else we can
come up with. Wow, sothat's your first dose. I wonder what
he did at the restaurant before hegot demoted, Like what was he was?
He like, well, I thinkhe didn't have access to jelly.
Apparently here's your second dose. Thisis local Minaaso. Man is being charged

(02:00:43):
with aggravated possession of child pornography, accusing having thousands of images and videos showing
kids under twelve down to infants engagingin various sexual acts. Probable cause affidated
for this individual named Joseph Simmons saysthe tip came into OSBI flagging files called

(02:01:08):
quote little gerr VIDs quote Young quotePTHC Pedro Young video Models end quote.
It says the investigation led to thisman and during a search warrant of his
home. Officers found infant toddler clothing, sexual toys, and electronics. Oh
my goodness, says after examining theelectronics electronics there were more than five thousand

(02:01:31):
images and more than two hundred videosof sexual abuse material. And remember this,
these are just charges he hasn't beenconvicted of, right, right,
right, right, But nonetheless, what Yeah, if you are an individual,
let's just let's peel this back justfor a moment before the intensity of
child pornography and one would make itwrong. If you have sexual images in

(02:01:58):
the thousands number, you have aproblem. Yeah, yes, absolutely,
obviously if it involves children, oneis too many. But in general,
if you like looking at porn pornography, if you have thousands, right,
I think that's weird of saved pictures. Yeah, well, okay, so

(02:02:18):
let's hold on now, okay,no, go ahead. Yeah, is
this You've got thousands of pictures thatyou've collected over let's just say, the
past ten years. Is that stillan issue? I think it's if you've
got a thousand pictures and you juststarted let's see, it's April in January,
in four months, that might bea major issue. That might be
a problem, but I think overyou know, a span of time,

(02:02:42):
maybe not so much. And obviouslywe're not talking about the right, we're
talking about just straight up porn.Yes, right, yes, yes,
I think that that's a problem.One. You're not watching it, you're
not going back and reminiscing. Okay, okay, right. You know we
talked about Biggie and he had thatvideo photo album of women he's conquered.
I think that's weird. Okay, yeah, right, So why do you

(02:03:02):
need thousands of images of pornography?By the way, we're undermining this by
a fifth, right, yeah,five thousand. I just looked. I
have ten thousand photos in my phone? How many naked ones? None?
Because I can get it on theinternet anytime. I won No. That's
another thing that blows me away,is like why would these people have that.

(02:03:24):
I mean, you get your fix, just go to the hub.
But I guess they don't have thekid's stuff. And now that you put
in the idea that these are allchildren's images or child pornography, and there's
two hundred videos it is in,it's disgusting on so many levels. Yeah,
it's just you. And again, these are just charges okay, So

(02:03:49):
the third dose I have for youwhere this doctor is going to spend the
rest of his life behind bars becausehe sexually assaulted an eight year old girl
in his home. God. Thejudge on Friday sentence doctor Lynde Lindemann,
seventy three years old, to fiftyyears in prison, and he must serve

(02:04:10):
forty two and a half years.According to the county Attorney's office, the
sentence was enhanced because of a previouslascivious act with a child conviction. In
nineteen seventy six. A jury tookan hour to convict him of second degree
sexual assault. He abused the girlin his home in June of twenty twenty
three, and his ex wife testifiedthat he told her that he was trying

(02:04:34):
to help the girl quote explore hersexuality in a safe place. Oh good.
He declined to speak after the sentencing, pleading the Fifth Amendment until all
legal actions were completed. His attorneytold the newspaper he planned to appeal.

(02:04:56):
In nineteen seventy six, he wasconvicted of sexual assaulting at fourteen year old
at a gymnastics camp. What isit with don't let your kids do gymnastics?
Sorry, sorry, didn't say howhe knew this eight year old girl.
I haven't got to that yet.The seventy six conviction assaulting a fourteen
year old girl at a gymnastics campwhile he was a camp counselor. Oh

(02:05:18):
good. Despite the conviction, hewent on to become a surgeon for decades.
The victim in that case filed alawsuit in twenty twenty two. They
alleged that the lawsuit that on Julynineteen seventy five, that while treating an
injury to her back, he sexuallymolested her. The incident caused mental health.

(02:05:43):
Of course it did, and meantemotional of course it did. That
carried on to her an adult life. That's supposed to come to trial in
twenty twenty five. He closed hispractice last year after his arrest, and
the state medical board agreed that hewould stop practicing medicine. You're only twenty
years, thirty years late, andit does not go on how he knew

(02:06:06):
this eight year girl. I imagineit's some connection to gymnastics or his medical
practice. He's he's not going toserve forty two years. Someone will kill
him in prison. Well, Imean he could die of natural causes in
prison. He's not coming out ofit. He will hopefully he will not

(02:06:29):
walk out of prison. No,he just won't, whether it's what you
two are describing or the age.And if he does at ninety two,
we'll still be supporting him, rightbecause being in prison that long, he's
not going to have means to makemoney. But the idea that his wife,

(02:06:49):
his wife was like, I'm helpingher first of all, what Yeah,
for the record, I don't knowwhat that means to explore her sexuality
in a safe man. I don'tknow what that means. I don't either,
I don't, I don't. It'sto me it speaks a predator.

(02:07:11):
Whether the person is eight or eighteenor twenty eight, it's to me it
feels manipulative, right, right,It's on them to explore how they want
to not let me help you, give you a safe space for you to
learn things. I'm here to helpyou. I will provide the safe atmosphere

(02:07:31):
you can trust me. Right. How weird is that? Disgusting on so
many levels? And the fact thatthat happened in nineteen seventy five, the
good old days, right, thegood old days where they let pedophiles continue.

(02:07:56):
If I was that wife, Iprobably would have just shot and killed
him right then and there when hesays that, and then you go to
jail for murder, and when theysay why did you do it? And
I would have said I was helpinghim. Yeah, but then you would
go to jail for murder, right, and then you would have your life
would be over too. How doesit make any sense? I don't know,
but it would feel worth it.I think you're undermining jail in prison,

(02:08:22):
yeah, yeah, exactly, ButI don't think they hand out a
metal. You don't get a bettersell. You don't, you don't get
an extra snacky think I'd have areally good defense attorney. It'd be worth
the fight, maybe, but youwould still I don't think they would still
be murder. Sure, it'd beworth it, though, and I understand

(02:08:45):
how honorable that sounds, but it'sstill taking somebody's life. It's still murder.
You would still go to prison foreveryou. I don't want to avoid
prison at all costs. Right. If if that were reversed and it was
me, I might beat the holyhell out of him. I'll take an
I'll take an assault charge. Yeah, but I ain't taking a murder charge.

(02:09:11):
Yeah, I could say self defense, self defense, I could,
I could definitely yes. All right, we got to take a break with
you. Good morning, It's theBig Mad Morning Show. Lindsay, what'd

(02:09:43):
you learn today? I learned I'dbe willing to do time to put down
a pedophile. And I also learnedthat GIMPI really makes an entrance everywhere he
goes, sometimes through a wall, sometimes on the floor. If clumsiness we're
an Olympic sport, he'd win thegold Gimp. What'd you learn today?
Well? I learned that uh Corbyndoesn't want to handle the big girzy woes.

(02:10:05):
And I also learned that Lindsey livedsomewhere where somebody else was what that's
crazy? Uh? I learned thatending a relationship with Lindsay would be great.
Man, I get the best fooddelivered to my house. I'll take
some Mickey D's. And I alsolearn be careful that snake place. It's
super Corbyn say, make sure thatdishwasher is loaded right, it's stracking and

(02:10:31):
I'm sorry, Can I get amake a noise interpasswort? Corbyn new messages

(02:11:01):
The Big Mad Morning Show would liketo take a minute to thank troops from
Oklahoma and all over the United States. These soldiers have sacrifice. Did the
Big Mad Morning Show before you toback like the total douchebags that they are,
