so make sure you're listening for that que that will
be playing very. Short we are unfortunately going to be
in the national news for an event that happened. Here
i've already seen it on a couple of, sites and
it has to do with a road rage incident where someone.

(04:18):
Died so apparently these two individuals were, driving And i'll
just go ahead and clear this. Up we only have
the account of. One, yeah the other one's not saying. Right,
nope they sure. Aren't they, did and apparently they were

(04:39):
Driving saturday and one of them was a little too
close to the. Other he said he was being tailgated
by a. Woman he said he tried to get away
from her by driving through his. Neighborhood apparently he got,
home saw her parked near his home and he confronted.
Her he. Says that's when he told her to move

(05:02):
along or. Whatever she took a steel rod from a
carjack and struck him several. Times oh. Damn that's when
he decided to wield his batoon or a knife and
slashed her in the. Abdomen oh. My the woman took
off to a nearby relative's. House she was found by

(05:24):
the police. Officers both individuals taken to the hospital for.
Treatment she died from her. Injuries the man was treated
for head and arm injuries and then interviewed by. Detectives
police have not released Names detectives say there are two
witnesses and they've been. Interviewed as of right, now no
arrest have been, made and police say the investigation is.

(05:44):
ONGOING i can wrap my head around confronting somebody outside
your home that you felt was tailgating. You, yeah especially
if they followed you. HOME i, mean if they're out
in the, street they may not know which house is, mine,
right but they're in the, vicinity you, know they followed
you to your, neighborhood WHICH i feel is close enough to,

(06:08):
home you, know just because they you don't know what's gonna.
Happen they followed, you all, right and they're searching. Around they're, Like,
okay which one of these houses has this whatever car
That i'm looking? For how do you know they're not
going to late at, night break into your house and

(06:28):
murder you while you. Sleep feels like a lot of.
Jumps but, OKAY i mean this, story just as it,
is had a lot of, jumps you. Know, NO i
mean it's a jump to they're gonna break in your
home and murder. You she was ready to do serious
damage to, that so was. He. YEAH i think he defended.

(06:48):
HIMSELF i, mean and that's WHERE i wanted to go
is the standard, ground?

Speaker 6 (06:52):
Right, yeah it feels to me like they it feels
like they knew each.

Speaker 1 (06:57):
Other, okay you know it's say more, personal same more?

Speaker 6 (07:01):
It why else would you would just blow it, Off
like if you didn't know the person who cares it's
a bad, moment you don't follow them into their. NEIGHBORHOOD
i feel unless you actually know this person and you
know that they wronged, you and it just the way

(07:22):
that they, fought it felt more. PERSONAL i agree that
there's more to this. Story we don't have the, context.

Speaker 1 (07:30):
Right and the fascinating thing about these stories in a
road rage, scenario it's always one of them was just a,
happy go lucky, person, right completely innocent in this, matter.

Speaker 7 (07:41):
RIGHT i, Mean, Okay so this woman tailgates this, guy
he goes, home she follows him to the. Neighborhood she's
outside the, house they confront each. Other she's got a tire, iron,
right that's what we know so, far and then she
whacks him with it a few. Times and then he

(08:05):
gets a knife right right and gets close enough to
slash her. Abdomen that's kind of Where i'm going with
on this, one is that like he could, have and
probably should have just retreated into his house or gotten
into his car and left someplate and go someplate like
a well lit you, know like a quick trip or

(08:27):
a police station or.

Speaker 1 (08:28):
Something you're probably. RIGHT i think it's always better to
turn the other cheek and avoid the violence when she
hit him with. It he has a right to not.
Retreat he has a right to protect. Himself agree with
you that on one hundred. PERCENT i agree with you on.
That but the fact that he was carrying a, knife,
okay sounds like he. Was he left his home right

(08:52):
then confronted. Her did he have the knife on?

Speaker 7 (08:54):
Him because the way he kind of read, it it
made me think that he went.

Speaker 1 (08:58):
Like baby back to his. Car, no it says, no
he was. Home he left his, house walked out of his,
house walked to her. Car there's the car. Outside, yeah
there's that. Bitch that's.

Speaker 7 (09:08):
Good, yeah all, Right so one hundred percent should have
just stayed in the. House, yeah should have called police
and been, like, hey there's this crazy bitch follow me,
home you, Know but INSTEAD i want to take matters
into my own. Hands so it's kind of his own
stupid asphalt that he got had BUT.

Speaker 1 (09:24):
I MEAN i kind OF i kind of get. IT
i kind of get. It, SURE I i MEAN i get.
IT i would never go out and confront somebody in
their car BECAUSE i don't know they might have a tire, iron,
right or gunner or a gun, yeah you, know attack
chicken or. Something AND i get you want to protect. Yourself,
yeah but if you're you're already, inside you're pretty you're. Safe. Safe,

(09:47):
yes you're pretty well. Safe short of her kicking in
the door and coming after you and pledging you with
a tire, iron different. Story you have a total right
slash the abdomen at that point. Exactly dude should have
just stayed at. Home he's gonna get charged with and
he's not gonna go scott free on. THAT i don't.
KNOW i think there's a high probability he can say
he confronted her and was, like, hey excuse, me that's.

(10:11):
MAN i am so sorry to bother. YOU i noticed
you were parked in. Front oh god. Dag yeah.

Speaker 7 (10:16):
Right, UNFORTUNATELY i don't think that's how it went. Down
there's no way to down more along the.

Speaker 1 (10:22):
Lines, of, hey, bitch what the f where do you follow?
Me what's all this? About i'm just trying to get,
home like you cut me up back, there, right OR
i don't Hate lindsay's, theory likes a jilted lover or
something like each other they knew each other.

Speaker 6 (10:40):
Passion.

Speaker 1 (10:41):
Okay how much road rage happens on A saturday at
four in the afternoon or in the evening in the, Afternoon, okay.

Speaker 6 (10:48):
On A, SATURDAY i MEAN i can see it more
during the.

Speaker 1 (10:51):
WEEK A friday at, FOUR i got you trying to go.
Home you're done with your annoyed, traffic all those. Things,
Yeah saturday at, FOUR i think there's there's something else
we don't know. Yet and the fact that the police
aren't releasing any, information yeah, right thing tells me they

(11:11):
don't feel confident.

Speaker 3 (11:12):
Yet.

Speaker 7 (11:12):
Yeah we may not, Ever they won't, ever may not
ever get the full story on this because there's only
one side of it that you can hear right, now,
right we're completely basing this off of one, side and
it depends on what the two witnesses.

Speaker 1 (11:25):
Say is the two witnesses, like, nah he was yelling
and mfing and all these other, things then he he's
probably gonna get in trouble right.

Speaker 7 (11:33):
Right, well, again he's not gonna get Off Scott. FREE i,
mean he he sliced a woman and she ended up
dying because it at you, know she's he's getting at least.

Speaker 1 (11:41):
Manslaughter oh, no oh, no no, no, no she hit him, first,
Right SO i think he definitely has an argument of
he was, reacting she was the. Aggression the question in
standing ground is always who's the? Aggressor right? Right and
based off the, story it sounds like he's the. Aggressor
you can make an argument that he was the aggressor

(12:04):
because he left his home right and made the confrontation.
Exist there was no confrontation until he approached. Her his
demeanor super. IMPORTANT i have.

Speaker 6 (12:16):
A feeling they're going to be checking cell phone records
to see if they were if they did possibly know each,
other maybe they were on the phone with one another
having a heated. ARGUMENT i don't.

Speaker 1 (12:26):
KNOW i don't know if cell phone records just automatically
get to be. Checked, NO i think they're got to
get a war, yeah get a, warrant, yeah which means
you got to have probable cause that there's going to
be some piece of information to. Clarify and even that,
WHY i, mean even if they were jilted. Lovers why
would he stab? Her that's. WHY i, Mean i'm sure it.

(12:51):
Hurt where did he get where did he get? Hit
i'm not trying to parse this, out but, like, right,
WELL i mean you said the story he suffered from
head and shoulder, injuries, right so, right, right she took
that iron and just starts out of her. Car, uh
they're not gather From that's WHAT i, get, Right they're
now face to. Face and then she hits, him probably

(13:13):
in the shoulder the first, time or either one the
head and then the, shoulder, right probably hit him in
the head, first and he's, like, oh, bitch what the?
Hell you? Know and then she goes and draws back,
again tries to hit him in the, head and he's,
all you, know ducking BECAUSE i don't won't don't want
to get hit in the head, again you.

Speaker 7 (13:32):
Know so she hits him in the shoulder or, whatever
and that's when he's probably, like you know what f
this pulls out his crocodile dundee, knife you, know and
the slices, her which how sharp is that son of a?
Bitch it just sliced her in the abdomen and then
she ended up dying because of.

Speaker 1 (13:47):
It somebody who carries knives on the, leg they keep
their knife. Sharp, yeah if they're you, know you and
me who keep them so we can open Her, amazon
then they're pretty. Dull use my. Screwdrivers, right it was
a belt. KNIFE i, mean there's a hundred scenarios. Here
we don't know what type of blade it, was but
the fact that you came face to face tells me

(14:09):
this phrase might have been. Said do, it do, it do,
it do. It you may not be. Wrong it just
feels like a wild thing to like get involved. In oh.

Speaker 7 (14:24):
Yeah when you started this segment off saying that we're
going to be in nationwide.

Speaker 1 (14:30):
NEWS i didn't think it's going to because of this,
story because of the downtown Shooting. Saturday, nah a shooting
is a. Shooting. Shooting, YEAH i seen some of the
videos this. Morning i'm, Like, DANN i, mean that just
sounds like a bunch of. Kids it didn't look like
everybody was of twenty one in that. Scenario maybe they,

(14:54):
WERE i don't. Know don't make the mistake to thinking
you gotta be twenty one to be, downtown, Right and
it sounds like chaos ensued that produced more chaos and
now they're trying to sort it.

Speaker 7 (15:07):
Out, yeah wild stuff that you just go to enjoy
Your saturday night and you, know hell breaks. Loose people
are getting. Shot saturday is a bad, day isn't.

Speaker 3 (15:20):
It.

Speaker 7 (15:20):
Yeah this guy gets bludgeoned with a tire, iron a
woman who gets sliced open and, dies and then you
got these other, people one dead and six injured because
of god knows whatever stupid, reason they decided to open
fire on each, other probably over some.

Speaker 1 (15:37):
Dame what time was the Event saturday? Night like it
was It saturday, night but it was Actually friday night
Into saturday. Morning oh THAT i don't. KNOW i didn't.

Speaker 7 (15:46):
GO i think it was like Like saturday night and
A sunday morning as the bars were closing.

Speaker 6 (15:51):
DOWN i thought it was EVEN i think it was around.

Speaker 7 (15:54):
Midnight, okay, yeah so even Then saturday night Into sunday.

Speaker 1 (15:58):
Morning, oh so asleep Saying i'm not. IT i ain't playing.
That the idea of just being out is a Young
that's a that does not interest. Me there's a video
Of Kevin costner and he's out in the, club like

(16:19):
the club doesn't EVEN i had to. Look the club
didn't even open till ten. Thirty he's, seventy by the,
way just living like filming a. Movie, nope it's in
last seventy years old. Clubbing, well maybe he's got a
sleep schedule all messed up and he's he's a nocturnal,

(16:40):
now and.

Speaker 7 (16:42):
He's, like what AM i going to do while everybody
else is? Sleeping i'm gonna.

Speaker 1 (16:46):
Go hit the club that's seventy years. Old hold. ON
i can only imagine that he looks Like cochlely from
the Movie Hall Pass, cokeley being the old man that
the wise old. Man he wears the hat and he

(17:09):
gets all these young girls and he has The, yeah
you're seventy. Man i'm not saying seventy can't have. Game
i'm not saying seventy you can go to. Club you
see a seventy year old woman at the, Club you're,
like come, on, girl, right let's get you, home go
knit grandma, again not saying you can't do those. Things
but because It's Kevin, kostner you're, like, uh, okay you.

(17:32):
Forget he's. Seventy doesn't look. Seven he looks.

Speaker 6 (17:36):
SEVENTY i mean he is a good looking, SEVENTY i.
Guess but still. Seventy, yeah they.

Speaker 1 (17:44):
Clumb downe open at ten, thirty and it by the
video it's, packed so, like you, know it ain't ten
thirty when it, opens it's.

Speaker 6 (17:52):
Seventy you picture him more at the country, club that's.

Speaker 1 (17:56):
Seventy, no at, SEVENTY i see him more. Asleep, Right,
yes they do things Different, hollywood you, Know i'm. Sure.
Sure and then the average age of the person in
the club has to be twenty five twenty. Three doesn't
he have a young girlfriend right? NOW i mean he's

(18:18):
got some woman that nobody knows who she, is but
she doesn't look twenty. Five rumored to be Dating. Jewel,
okay here's. That, yeah that Ain't. Jewel that Ain't. Jewel
he singms to Be.

Speaker 7 (18:33):
OKAY i was just sitting there thinking, like, okay so
that would make. Sense why he's in the club at
seventy years. Old if he's looking for a young, hop
he's an. Ass he's going with The bilichick. Style you,
KNOW i want to Go i'm seventy AND i want

(18:54):
a twenty four year.

Speaker 1 (18:55):
Old, yes but He's Kevin. Costner he doesn't have to
go to the clerk and be, like so what brings
you what brings you out, tonight young? Lady? Right would you?
Like it makes The belichick more thing more creepy to
do it that? Way? Right to go to the? Club,
hey youngiins are you a? Bop bop means a? Whorror

(19:19):
by the, Way i'm, Cool i'm, hip just like. You what's?
Up My kiddo's? Right Daddy o's? Here Oh? God who
invited the? Nark it just reeks weirdness to. Me, yeah,
listen he's a do, whatever do whatever you. Want that's
not What i'm. Saying it just looks. Odd it's not

(19:42):
what you. Expected it's not fifty year Old Kevin, kostner,
right which it. Would that'd be like. Me you guys,
going what did you do last? Night, like oh, MAN
i went to the. Club you're, like, yeah, yeah you're fifty, though.
Bro you, know as a guy.

Speaker 7 (19:57):
Who's worked in several clubs in my in my people
in their fifties and mid, fifties was not all that,
strange you. Know granted it could be BECAUSE i was
working in swingers clubs and not you, know your typical
kind of dance. Clubs but What i'm saying is we
had an range of anything from fresh twenty one year

(20:18):
olds all the way up. Too and you, know and
that's like the majority of the. Population there was people in,
there you, know from twenty one to we'll say fifty.

Speaker 1 (20:26):
Five there were some older ones in, there like in
their sixties and. Seventies AND i tell you, What i've
seen more old man penis THAN i should in my
life with that on a. Shirt who had old man
penis on? There being no? Card oh, Everyone, okay.

Speaker 7 (20:45):
It's one of Those i'm doing a thing playing my
music AND i look at. It i'm, like Oh, GOD
i can't unsee that. Now h it has burned into my.

Speaker 1 (20:55):
Brain so though you did have music played, there and
though there was dancing, THERE i don't know if that
is the traditional clerb thought that most people. Have probably,
Not probably, not because it wasn't your typical type of
dance club. Nightclub it was it was catered towards. Lifestyle

(21:15):
was a lifestyle yeah, yeah. Yeah but the fact of it,
is you, know there's still older people that were one hundred.
Club i'm not saying people that are seventy or fifty
don't go, out. Right it is not common to go
to a clurb where they do a weapons check right
on the way. In maybe that's the case with the.
Coffee you're Either Nicholas cage selling some sort of constitution

(21:40):
right meeting with The russian mafia that runs it right,
right or you're the.

Speaker 6 (21:44):
OWNER i can't even think What Kevin costner's flex would
be if he was trying to pick up a twenty
five year, old Because.

Speaker 1 (21:53):
Yellollowstone, Right but that's it, Exactly but that's a massive flex.

Speaker 6 (21:58):
Lens, Absolutely but does a twenty five five year old
girl Watch? Yellowstone, yes it's a massive.

Speaker 1 (22:03):
Show watched it for RIP i don't even in the.
Show he's with a girl who has daddy, issues, Right,
yeah that he's. Absolutely yellowstone might be the biggest thing
he's ever. Done he doesn't even need to. Flex he's
the Cost.

Speaker 6 (22:23):
But if he didn't Have, YELLOWSTONE i feel like a
twenty five year old might not even know who who he.

Speaker 7 (22:28):
Is, OH i don't, know sat around and watch dances
with wolves with their.

Speaker 1 (22:31):
PARENTS i, mean you're making a valid, point but you're
also you can't we don't know that they may. Have
there's been plenty of people who love old. STUFF A
Whitney houston fan right, right, right somebody who liked Water.
WORLD i don't know where you're, at but one person

(22:52):
we dog on THAT i think that movie, sucks but
they made an exhibit at a theme park for. It
that cheapest tea zibit, ever fill with, water put some old,
wood come on into Water? World what is? It? Okay
so what happens IS i don't save your. Text i'm
sure some of you love. IT i don't. Care next

(23:13):
we're gonna say The postman's really good. Too oh, god all,
right we got to take a. Break we'll be.

Speaker 8 (23:19):
Back more Of The Big Men Morning show is next Ninety.

Speaker 1 (23:25):
Good, Morning It's The Big Man Morning. Show tell free
eight three three four six oh kmod is the phone.
Number news quikies are stories you may have missed them the.
News we cover them here and put a link on
Our facebook. Page it's time for news. Quakies world, news local,
news and news.

Speaker 7 (23:42):
That just makes you say what The here's Corby gimbe
And lindsay With what's going on news quakies From The
Big Man Morning Show in nineties on The, Vibe.

Speaker 6 (23:52):
Man arrested In florida days after winning one hundred and
sixty seven million dollars powerball. Jackpot, james he's a. Farthing
he's fifty years. Old he had been at The Island
grand At Trade Winds casino At Saint Pete beach when
he got into a fight with another, patron so deputies
were called and they tried to break it, up But

(24:14):
james ended up kicking one of the deputies in the.
Face he attempted to, flee but was taken into custody
and later booked into. Jail, Now james is actually From, Georgetown,
kentucky and he had just claimed the one hundred and
sixty seven point three million dollar lottery ticket On. Monday

(24:37):
he and his mom are apparently splitting the winnings after
he bought a two dollar. Ticket an official said that
it set the record for A kentucky powerball. Parize so
he went from winner to a loser. Instantly he's being
charged on a battery on a law enforcement, officer batterying

(24:59):
resisting officer without.

Speaker 1 (25:01):
VIOLENCE i bet he gets that reduced. Dramatically you, think
why you say that he's got a ton of money
to get pay for really good. Lawyers that's a true.
Statement wouldn't that? Suck? Though?

Speaker 7 (25:12):
Man you just won the lottery and now you got
to spend most of your winnings on a damn lawyer
because you got in a fight and kicked a.

Speaker 6 (25:18):
Cap it's true, anyway public with his winnings, Too like
he took his picture so they, know.

Speaker 1 (25:23):
They know he's got the. MONEY i, mean he probably
got like eighty something million take right out of the
one sixty. Seven so even if he spends ten million
dollars on a, lawyer do you do you do you
spend the money on an?

Speaker 7 (25:37):
Attorney, first get out of, trouble get all that taken care,
of and then split what's left with your? Mom or
do you split what you have with your? Mom because
that's what he plans on, doing right.

Speaker 1 (25:49):
Right that's what he, planned right, Right, yeah so split
it with your mom and then take your half and
then pay for your legal stuff. Afterwards, again let's just
say he gives her. Half his defense still costs him
ten million. Dollars he still has thirty million. Dollars, yeah,
pay do whatever you gotta, do and then go buy

(26:10):
an island in The caribbean and be. Boring, yeah sip
my ties sand the canoe you're, building, Right come, on,
man make little palm from dummies and you can kick
the crap out of them. All you want ten million,
dollars you pay somebody one hundred grand a year to

(26:30):
what people's asked to come near?

Speaker 3 (26:31):
You?

Speaker 1 (26:32):
Do you know the online Guy Jack doherty is he's super, annoying,
right but he makes these videos of being annoying to,
people and when somebody tries to get in his face
because you, know if you're an, asshole people don't like.
That he has these big security guys that will deal with,
it and he taunts the. Purse it's. Ridiculous but if

(26:54):
you have enough money pay someone to deal with all that,
stuff you shouldn't be dealing with, driving. Right just to
be a little, judgmental he looking at the guys. PICTURE
i don't really suspect him to buy an island.

Speaker 7 (27:16):
Or pay people to beat other people up for. Him
my gas is this is going to go on a,
house a nice hot, rod you, know maybe a, truck
a big, truck, okay a, boat.

Speaker 1 (27:27):
Yeah full body. Tattoo that's. Right he looks exactly like
the guy who would buy an. ISLAND i don't. Know
he also looks exactly like the guy that would whoop
someone's ass because you looked at his woman, Like, okay all,
right she was near the.

Speaker 7 (27:45):
Scoreboard most of that money that he's getting is going
to be used for legal, fees maybe not this, one
but other ones down the.

Speaker 1 (27:54):
Line i'm just, SAYING.

Speaker 6 (27:56):
I don't know about an, island but definitely a. Bar
he would buy a.

Speaker 7 (27:59):
Bar, right move down To Key, West, right because he
lives In. Florida, right move down To Key, west start a.

Speaker 1 (28:05):
Bar, yeah you, Know i'm, saying, like you moved to
where it isn't easy for people that you know to
come visit. You, Right Key. West people can get on
the bike and be down there for a couple. Hours
it depends on where you're coming. From But i'm just saying,
that like you want some massive distance between.

Speaker 7 (28:21):
You you would think, so you would think. SO a, drunk
pantless man tells cops He's Charles. Dickens so there's this.
Dude cops spotted him walking around in a parking lot
wearing nothing but A t shirt and a smile on
A wednesday. Morning wednesday, morning they spot this guy walking

(28:45):
around the parking, lot porky pig in it junk on full,
display holding two bottles of wine and a can of
beer and they stop and confront the.

Speaker 1 (28:53):
Man they're, like, bro what's going? On you?

Speaker 7 (28:55):
Know they question him and of course what's your? Name
and he tells The Londonsarles. Dickens, anyhow they finally figured
out that his name is Actually Vincent, conroy and they
went ahead and took him. In they took him in
for open container because that the illegal down, there exposure
of his sexual, organs and charged him with providing a

(29:17):
false name to law. Enforcement he spent the day and
lock up and was released the next.

Speaker 1 (29:21):
DAY i, mean of all the, people you're gonna, Say
Charles dickens isn't a bad. Take, No but he's dead,
though Right Ed, Gano oh, Yeah Ed Grollan poe would
be a good, one right, yeah another great. One missing
woman found over sixty years. LATER a cold case out

(29:42):
Of wisconsin spanning six decades has been. Solved sheriff's office
Says Audrey, backberg who disappeared at the age of twenty
in nineteen sixty, two has been found alive and. Well,
now so she married this guy when she was, fifteen
and by the time she was twenty she had two.
Kids she walked, looked please say they found her in another.

(30:03):
Estate no criminal activity or foul play is. Expected she
disappeared on her Home july seventh of nineteen sixty. Two
they couldn't find. Her they had no idea where she.
Went they have this process at the sheriff's office where
people will go through old case files talk to witnesses
to see what comes. Up they used SOME dna site
and found that she may be in the. City he

(30:25):
called that sheriff's. Office they went and checked on. Her
she called the. Detective they had like a forty five minute,
conversation and the detective determined that she was in no
way in, danger and she was just annoyed with the
guy's s that she was with because he was. Abusive
do you how abusive would you have to be that

(30:46):
if you walked from two? KIDS i would imagine Very.
Yeah and she found him at Fifteen all, right let
me phrase. It he found her at, fifteen. Right, NO
i ain't hating on. Her, no had get away from
it and knowing that she was abandoning her.

Speaker 7 (31:03):
Kids, Yeah i'm sure that was a tough decision to.
Make i'm sure it wasn't easy for.

Speaker 1 (31:07):
Her or it was, easy LIKE i deserve better.

Speaker 7 (31:09):
Than this, right but to not take the kids though
you think it'd be like motherly, instinct just let me
protect my children from this asshole where you, know why
SHOULD i just be the only one that.

Speaker 1 (31:19):
Gets away from the.

Speaker 7 (31:20):
Abuse so you're gonna subject your two kids to this
man's abuse because you, know unless you didn't want to
deal with.

Speaker 6 (31:27):
It maybe he wasn't abusing the, children just her.

Speaker 1 (31:30):
Right that's typically not the way it. Works so, YEAH
i could see she was, like IF i, stay then
all of us will get. Abused but IF i, leave
maybe it'll bring some attention to how horrible he is
and he'll change his ways or they'll be checked on or. Whatever,
YEAH i don't. Know still a tough choice to. Make wild.

Speaker 6 (37:55):
Was yesterday My son eli had his first piano recital
and it. Was wonderful he was, extremely nervous but he nailed.
His song he played the theme SONG to i don't
know if you Ever Watched inspector gadget, the cartoon that's

(38:16):
the one that was, his song and did a. Great
job all the kids actually did a. Great job and
then afterwards we went to a birthday party at a,
friend's house followed up by Dinner at we introduced our Kids,
To lanta tai And in tulsa and they. Loved it
they WERE really i think they were nervous. ABOUT that

(38:37):
i think my youngest was actually more nervous about that
than his. Piano recital, New foods oh, my gosh but
they ended up. Loving it he had curry for the
first time and enjoyed it. Very much the worst part of,
MY weekend i, would say as it just sucks, getting
older because It started saturday and it didn't end in

(39:00):
hill probably yesterday some unexplained body cramps and it started
like in my CHEST and i experienced a little bit
last week. As well it woke me up in the
middle of, the night and then it started back Up on.
Saturday afternoon and after some googling and web yes and

(39:27):
talking to, MY mom, I know, i'm like my only
hunch Is possibly i'm getting DIBERTICULITIS as i. Get older
how did you she's?

Speaker 1 (39:39):
Got that how did you jump? To that have you
ever seen a gastrondologist that told you had any? PROBLEMS?

Speaker 6 (39:45):
There, I well. I do i have seen a gastro.
Intestinal doctor i've had a colonoscaby twice in. My, life
SURE so i am going to make an appointment with.

Speaker 1 (39:55):
Them, Today no i'm you didn't answer. My QUESTION no.

Speaker 6 (39:58):
I have i've had pop in, the past so it's
not out of the realm of possibility that diverticulitis could
be in.

Speaker 1 (40:08):
MY future i did we as people like with access to,
the Internet and i'm just as guilty of this jump
to answers without knowing. The, answer yes AND web md says.
It's diverticulitis it could be, testicular.

Speaker 6 (40:23):
Right, Right right so it's based ON what. I ate i, Was, like,
OKAY well i guess maybe it feels like it could.
BE possible i, don't KNOW but i don't want to
have to deal with this because. It was it was
so uncomfortable and so PAINFUL that, i THOUGHT do i

(40:46):
go to the? Emergency ROOM because. I don't i don't want. That,
bad yeah it was very UNCOMFORTABLE pain. I was i was.

Speaker 1 (40:53):
So uncomfortable when did? This, Start uh?

Speaker 6 (40:56):
Saturday afternoon and it just kept. Getting worse it would
go away for a little bit and then it would
come back. Even stronger, i'm LIKE so. I am i.
Didn't know SO then I took i took some ibuprofen
and it. Helped, tremendously yeah but.

Speaker 1 (41:11):
That's okay so that's just an anti. Inflammatory exactly so
that whatever you're dealing with is some sort of inflammation, or,
Disagreement right so maybe it's something, You ate maybe you're
the foods or alcohol you're picking is not agreeing with, your,
body right which is not direct is CAUSED by, i

(41:34):
know but, heartburnt upset stomach. Discomfort, isn't yeah isn't automatically,
that though Is what, i'm Saying.

Speaker 6 (41:44):
Right SO but, i mean that's just. My Hunch so
i'm going to make an appointment with the doctor and
see what's.

Speaker 1 (41:51):
Going on they'll be get you In, in, December, RIGHT
god i hope the best and worst? The weekend what's
the best thing that happened this weekend and the worst
thing that happened THIS week bmms and whatever that is
to eight two nine. Four five you can call toll

on the way out there and enjoyed the enjoyed. The
rally uh didn't see anybody getting plowed in front of,
a bus, but hey different kind, of rally so what do?
You think but that wasn't. The best wasn't the best
part of the twitch? Twitch twitch the best part of.

Speaker 7 (42:37):
The weekend absolute hand damn best part of the weekend
Was The sturgel Simpson concert friday night At The. Bok
center my BROTHER and.

Speaker 1 (42:47):
I went my brother had purchased tickets, months ago and
this is one of the few shows that, we've like
really really really been looking.

Speaker 7 (42:56):
Forward to, Of course Boys from oklahoma was the, other
one but this, one here and he did kind of
the same thing that he DID when i saw Him,
In rogers arkansas. Last, summer right it was three Hours Of,
sturgel simpson which if you're, a fan that. Is awesome
the only difference between here and At The walmart amp

(43:17):
there were, no visuals, no visuals no screens at. All,
whatsoever right there was, no cameras, you know so you
can you know those that were his all, lower bowl,
you know but there was no no, visual screens no cameras.
On him it was nothing but stage lighting and. The
BAND and i thought that was so amazing because it

(43:40):
really forced us all to sit there and pay attention
to what's going on on the stage and not, you
know looking at the screens.

Speaker 1 (43:48):
Or whatever every song, he played it was all the
hits and sixty songs this cat played, sixty songs and
they all flowed one right, into another, into another. Into
another there were pointing times where, you're like is this the?
Same song you don't know what's going on until he

(44:09):
starts the chorus of the.

Speaker 7 (44:10):
Next song, you're, like, oh okay total. Badass concert it
was me and my brother and my, little brother so
all of. Us went it was The whole.

Speaker 1 (44:19):
Brother's crew they got. That, dough yeah it was pretty
neat and, we really we really enjoyed. The night worst
part of, THE weekend i guess. Was, yesterday yesterday get
home after same Birthday party lendsay, went TO but i.
LEFT early i make my, dinner right cooked up some.

(44:43):
In gilatas they. Were great, GET done i clean the kitchen,
all right go to load of bowl right because it's
time for a little after, dinner, smoke right, AND uh
i have. This pipe it is Like a. Gandalf pipe
You know i'm. Talking ABOUT if I say, gandalf pipe
you Know what i'm, talking, About right And let gramps

(45:05):
tell you. A story a long.

Speaker 7 (45:08):
Sum bitch and it's it's. Glass, right oh it, was
fantastic one of my. Favorite ONES and i love. This
bowl AND then i go into the Kitchen and I'VE
got i.

Speaker 1 (45:19):
Got this pipe is like the size of my. Little
arm that's how long this, thing, Is Right.

Speaker 7 (45:26):
And i've got it in my, gimp Hand and i'm
going into the kitchen to grab, my beverage Right because
i'm fitting to, sit Down and i'm about to go
in on A final destination. Bender right HBO's got all
five of them playing, Right Now so, I'M like i
haven't seen the first one and forever haven't seen the

(45:48):
second one that traumatized everybody on the planet in a,
long TIME and i have never, seen three four, And
Five so, i'm like this. IS fantastic i want to
go on A Final destination bender for the Night and i'm.

Speaker 1 (46:01):
Gonna enjoy i'm, gonna Smoke and i'm gonna watch some
movies and life is going to. Be GREAT and i
want to go to bed EARLY and i want to get,
up EARLY and i am Just feeling i'm, feeling, Good
RIGHT and i walk into the kitchen holding my gandolf
pipe in my, little Hand and i'll be DAMN if
i didn't bump into the goddamn doorframe knocks the pipe

(46:24):
out of, my hand and as it's slowly going towards.
The floor gandolf pipe all over my, kitchen floor the
BALL that i. JUST loaded i haven't even hit, it
once all over, the, place, rabble rabble mad as a.

(46:45):
Mother love, i'm, like well THERE'S nothing i could, Do
about NOT like i could glue it. Back together NOT
like i would glue it. Back together my days of
gluing pipes back together are. Far over, you know. They're
DONE so i, just, fine, sweep, sweep sweep get all the,
glass up dump it in. THE trash i have another gandalf,
pipe though that was made. For me this one is

(47:07):
made out, of wood so there is no dropping and breaking.
That SALVABITCH so i just loaded that. One up how
long have you had?

Speaker 3 (47:14):
That?

Speaker 1 (47:14):
Pipe full? Five? Years maybe how'd you? Get it it
was given. To me it was given to me as,
a GIFT and i really. Enjoyed it was. REALLY nice
i sat on my end table in my.

Speaker 7 (47:31):
Living room i've got a couple, of pieces and that's,
you know one of the main ones.

Speaker 1 (47:35):
Is retool it. WAS great i, loved it and now
it's GONE and i, was, Like oh i'll just buy.
Another one BUT then i, was like you, Know, WHAT
no i don't want to have to deal with that,
Mess Again so i'm just going to continue using the
wooden one that seems to. Work out best and worst of.
The weekend what's the best part of your weekend and

(47:56):
the worst part of? YOUR weekend bmms and whatever that
is to eight two nine four five are called toll
toll free eight three three four six Oh kmod my
best and worst is. The same best part Of the.
I'm sorry worst part of the WEEKEND was i get
an Alert on friday that my right rear tire is something's.
Not right, it's, like hey you need to check. That

(48:17):
out not uncommon when the weather changes to have to
adjust the air pressure in. MY car i was going
to ask you if it was the tire pressure sensor,
that yes but this was telling me a, specific tire
which is doesn't. Normally DO so i go TO where
i got, the tires pull up SIXTEEN sixteen psi. Oh
damn thirty three for those keeping track at home is

(48:39):
what it. Should be and so the, guy's, like oh
we should get. You in, I'M like i ain't. Got
time what's the way and he's like hour. And half, i'm, like, oh, now, now, now.
Now now now, he's, like okay well come. Back LATER
so i come. Back later, they're, like yeah it's in. The,
wall sorry can't. Fix it there's some puncture in. The wall,
oh okay and so we're gonna have to get you a.

(49:00):
New tire it won't be Here. Till Monday and, i'm,
like okay. How much now to the best part of.
The WEEKEND when i bought, THOSE tires i paid for
the warranty that they sell where if something like that
happens and they can't, fix it. Free. TIRE nice i
know what, You're, Saying corbyn you've probably paid for that tire.

(49:21):
OVER time I believe i could. BE wrong i think
it was twenty five dollars a tire that BAD when
i bought the tires to put that on Top, of
hell even if it Was a, Hundie, attire yeah. AIN'T
bad i don't care because it isn't what the, tire
Costs which i'm guessing six seven. Hundred, MAYBE uh i
think it's. Like four but you're not far off because

(49:44):
they're run, Flats.

Speaker 7 (49:45):
Right so they're going to replace it with the exact
same tire that goes.

Speaker 1 (49:49):
On, There, yeah yeah they have. To. Yeah Nice so
i'm currently driving with that. Tire on THEY said i should.
Be FINE so i may have a different best and worse,
coming up but it is what. It is that car
doesn't come with, the spare, SO yeah i can't put
the donut. On it it doesn't come with. The, spare

(50:09):
no that is now. An. Option, Yeah interesting well this
car has, run flats so technically there's no need for.
True statement but not all cars come with that sort.

Speaker 7 (50:21):
Of thing maybe maybe it's that brand that they come
a factory stock, with those but it feels like it's
very careless of the manufacturer to not have. A spare
oh they care. About, THAT yeah i.

Speaker 1 (50:32):
GET it i.

Speaker 7 (50:33):
Get it like when we switched over right from smoking
to non, smoking cars the if you want an ash
tray or, a lighter that's an. EXTRA charge i used
to sell that STUFF before i. Came over here was an, extra,
charge right which used to come standard in. Every, car
hell there's some cars out there that. Air conditioning it
doesn't come with. Air conditioning that's. An app it just blows,

(50:56):
me away like it seems like that's like a necessity sort.

Speaker 8 (50:58):
Of.

Speaker 1 (50:58):
Thing dude any thing is an option now on, a
car they will sell you the. Simple stuff and, then
dude for a while they were doing bluetooth as, an
option like that, wasn't, Automatic right so would you? Like
doors it's gonna cost you THE thing? I, want NOW
if i wanted to, be manual that, costs, More right

(51:21):
i'd rather my car. Be manual and, they're, like oh
that's gonna cost. You more, i'm like. That's right when
that used to be. The, standard uh best and worst of.
The weekend best went to the races with. The family
worst fell and big bruise on. MY arm i was
at a kid's party. This weekend it was a. Swimming

(51:42):
party kids were, running around jumping, the water, you know, being,
kids right it. Was awesome and this one kid there
was like a sun deck in. The, pool yeah you
know sun deck for those, whn't know it's like maybe six,
inches deep maybe, A, foot like it's not deep, At
all it's enough to put a sun deck or lay
there and, get, Sun right and they were runn around using,
square guns. Jumping whatever don't run on the pool. Deck

(52:03):
whatever and the kid jumped and dived in to the
sunning deck and just and we're like, you, okay Bro and,
He's like i'm, Good, MAN okay i would have been
like best spent some time at, the outlet family time at, the.

(52:23):
Outlet mall worst have to start taking a different way
to Work because i've racked up a three hundred dollars.
Turnpike bill how like you didn't know all those plate
page catching up. To you you. DIDN'T know i have
pike PASS and i try to avoid the turnpike RIGHT
because i don't want. TO pay i think. That's wild

(52:45):
best my youngest graduated. High school worst accidentally. Eight beef
i'm allergic and had still having a rough time that
when you were telling, me, that lindsay there is a
beef sickness called alpha alf gal alf Alpha galkay and

(53:06):
did you eat any beef? This weekend?

Speaker 6 (53:10):
LAST night, i did but they didn't effect for.

Speaker 1 (53:12):
Your, sickness No. Poor kevin.

Speaker 6 (53:18):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (53:18):
Right uh best of the weekend for ME was i
had testament in my venue and got to reconnect with
some FOLKS that i hadn't met in. The past to
see and a heavy band up close in the smaller
venue is always. A treat and then it gets even
better because This morning i'm going in the hospital for
surgery to have my intestines reconnected after having the Bag.

(53:41):
Since december so the worst WOULD be i have not
been able to eat for the last day and a
half and probably won't have solid food for two. More
days so for the bag that those that don't know
he had a colostomy bag Is what. I'm, guessing hey
good for you that you're getting your. Intestines, reconnected also
how how did they? Become? Disconnected, yeah right probably an

(54:06):
argument over. Something silly best Went, to austin hung out
with some guys have known since. High school worst rode
my Motorcycle. To austin it broke down twice on the
way back and ended up getting. Towed Home discovered i'm
too old to ride one thousand miles in. A week
and also a bird pooped on my helmet right on the.
Face shield. Oh noikes best went to see my Grandson At.

(54:30):
Saint jude's worst went to see my Grandson At. Saint.
Jude's uh best got offer a job offer making ten
dollars more. An hour worst putting my two weeks notice.
IN today i mean that should be free and put
your two weeks of all the things you ever have
to tell your boss given your two unless they're. Your

(54:51):
friend but even then they should be happy for you
that you're making ten dollars more. An hour, Right now.

Speaker 6 (54:57):
What if the current, job, says well i'll give you
you eleven dollars more. An hour are you? Gonna stay?

Speaker 1 (55:05):
Would? You, YEAH no i have the work. Environment sucks. No,
way yeah you're not leaving just because of. The money
if it was just, the, money, yeah sure.

Speaker 6 (55:13):
Why NOT but i mean if it's hard on them
to put the two, weeks in clearly maybe they don't want.

Speaker 1 (55:19):
TO go i just think one more dollar, an hour
eight more dollars, a day nine more dollars, a, day
right forty five dollars more a week isn't a. Big
Change fifteen i'd be. Like, fifteen yeah you give me.
Fifteen dollars that's your they've offered a negotiation. To, you

(55:41):
also they're only offering you more money because, you're leaving
not because they thought you. Were, worthy right tick bites
cause red red. Meat sensitivity let she's already established she
didn't have that best Saw breaking benjamin and wage war.
And rogers worst granddaughter had a seizure and had to
Go To. Little rock did you have one at. The,

(56:05):
concert right sounds. Like it best took the kids fishing
in my Four year my four year old son caught
his very. First fish worst had to get the yard
mode before the rain comes this week and it was
still a. Little wet worst found out Kidney. Cancer friday
best found out it's. Not, spread hey, silver lining there.

(56:27):
You go what was your indicator you had? Kidney cancer
what was? THE thing i have. Two questions what was
the thing that you, Were like oh this is weird
and you went and had a check, and, like oh
you have? Kidney cancer? And two how long from when
you recognize that oddity and they told you had candy?
Kidney CANCER because i think there's this misrepresentation that we

(56:49):
think it's like an hour's thing or a. Day THING
and i bet it takes. A long it takes. A
while like do you get into your oncologist? Right? Away
Right like i've got this skin lump on my Chest
that i've got to go have. Checked out AND if
i go in there and they they're, gonna, go, oh
well you need to go see, A specialist i, would,

(57:09):
imagine right and then how long is that time frame
between going to see? A? Specialist, yeah yeah is?

Speaker 7 (57:19):
It fast you would like to, Think so but my
guess would be like you'd go see. A dermatage isn't
that what doctor pimple? Popper does right aside from just
popping zits, and sit she removes them and then sends
them off to.

Speaker 1 (57:32):
Be, examined yeah, But, right, Yeah again i'm. Not clear
every cancer is a little, bit DIFFERENT but i would
expect that if, they you they, are, like ooh, it's
cancer then you then have to go see someone to
make sure it's not in. Other, Places, right yeah, you're,
right yeah and it. HASN'T spread i would think remember
that guy that we had that came on the show
a couple of times and he had skin cancer and he, was,

(57:54):
like ah it's, all good boom dead right, what yeah
and seemingly. No time yeah You're too oh. My god
uh peen blood was. The, indicator yes we had that conversation.
Last week you know how long was something bleed before
you get? Checked out best watched my, kids play kids

(58:14):
play baseball?

Speaker 3 (58:16):

triple crown's second leg will Happen, On saturday. May seventeenth
did YOU watch i did not any.

Speaker 1 (01:07:42):
Of, It, GIMPY no i have watched. It before but
it's not, like ooh like the draft, was, On right
REMEMBER The nfl draft was on a couple weeks ago.
OR whatever i, was, LIKE oh i want to see first.
And second AT least i did not. DO that i
actually forgot that it was on. AND didn't. I know

(01:08:05):
some people like to have parties and, oh yeah like
the winner the, hat thing do. All, that, yeah Yeah
but i'm not somebody who. Follows it there's, SOME fun
i mean, IT'S fun, i GUESS but i have no desire,
to go like sporting. Of, IT wise i have no desire.

Speaker 6 (01:08:22):
To, go no MAYBE if i had, the MONEY because
i feel like you've got to have a ton of
money to go and actually enjoy yourself At The. KENTUCKY derby,
I mean i.

Speaker 1 (01:08:34):
Don't know i'm sure the other three hundred and sixty
four days of the year there's no one in, the
stands but this, ONE day i think you'd have to
look up what the attendance To The kentucky. DERBY is
i think they bring in all this extra seating, and
arrangements so like if you want to be in the

(01:08:54):
like where the normal, part, is yeah that probably. Takes
MONEY and i think there's like a, commoner's, area yeah
where you can. Watch it the attendance for the twenty
Twenty Five kentucky derby was one hundred and forty, seven
thousand four hundred, and six which is down from the
one hundred and, fifty six seven hundred and ten people

(01:09:15):
who went there. Last year so you don't need money. To,
go now you may not have a seat like a
put your, bottom, on yeah but you would be able to.
See it and it's like The. Super bowl there's stuff
that happens, around it.

Speaker 3 (01:09:26):
Right.

Speaker 1 (01:09:27):
Too yeah my.

Speaker 6 (01:09:28):
Sister in law used.

Speaker 3 (01:09:29):
TO go.

Speaker 6 (01:09:31):
I think she's been like six or, seven times and
a group of her and her friends would go and
they would sit on. The lawn they would take picnic
baskets whatever blankets and sit and they'd make hats every
year and get. Dressed up and for a long time
they could take in their. Own alcohol now they can't.

Speaker 1 (01:09:49):
Do, that, oh no it's a. Money maker how long go?

Speaker 6 (01:09:52):
Is this oh it's been probably ten years since the
last time. They went the last time that, they went
they they could take in like mixers, with them but.
Not alcohol they would have to buy the. Alcohol there so.

Speaker 1 (01:10:09):
You could wear like a coke, or whatever, banberry juice.

Speaker 6 (01:10:13):
Orange juice but still like they would take money because
they would bet on. The horses but, she said, still
like we would take, at least, you know three grand
with us just so, we could, you know place bets
and eat or do whatever to have a.

Speaker 1 (01:10:27):
GOOD time i wanted to see because there's, reserve seating there's,
general admission but where's. THE ground i don't know where.
THE grassy i don't know Anything about, churchill DOWN so
i don't know that there's a. GRASSY area i always
thought it was pretty like FLAT and i know some
people that can get in and just watch when they

(01:10:48):
bring the horses out out of the. Stable THING but
i didn't know there's like a a sit down grassy
area Like At. Driller stadium, yeah right pay a little discount, Of,
price yeah go sit in the grassy. Burm. RIGHT yeah i,
don't know but my understanding is it's a pretty big

(01:11:09):
area with many different places to partake, and enjoy and
what we SEE, on tv those people pay a. High
Premium so i've been INTRIGUED because i know a lot
of people have parties and they just hang out and
watch IT on tv and. Drink Mint, julip's, yeah gross they're.

(01:11:30):
Not GOOD here's i, get it, All right, all.

Speaker 6 (01:11:34):

he's still living, with me and my daughter is still.
Look included i'm not really anything, as.

Speaker 1 (01:13:03):
Right well pretty, close? Though right are you looking forward?

Speaker 8 (01:13:05):
TO that.

Speaker 3 (01:13:08):
I. DON'T know i don't like, being alone, not, really.

Speaker 1 (01:13:11):
Okay okay it says here that you used to. Deliver
pizzas how old were you when you started? Delivering pizzas?

Speaker 3 (01:13:20):
Eighteen?

Speaker 1 (01:13:21):
Eighteen okay and was that at the time when thirty
minutes or less was? A?

Speaker 3 (01:13:26):
THING no i MEAN where, i started it had a,
small AREA and i was really quick AT because i
knew all the, Address STUFF so i pretty much unless
we were really, REALLY busy i was getting it there
less than. Thirty.

Speaker 1 (01:13:40):
Minutes anyway did a woman ever answer the? Door? NAKED
no i.

Speaker 3 (01:13:47):
Did deliver pizzas to a dude who had a history
of answering it in his box a breeze with his
freaking wang, hanging OUT though i don't know THEN whenever i,
delivered it like that was the end. Of it we
didn't deliver to him no more so, Like nope so.

Speaker 1 (01:14:05):
That did happen one time to you where he was
his genitals were? Hanging? Out yeah can you just can
you put somebody on a no delivery list? LIKE that i, guess.
Yeah huh so like whenever they, call in, they're, like
hi welcome to. Schmacketty blow what what's? Your number and
you give it, To him, you're, like, oh, sorry sir

(01:14:26):
you're on a no, delivery list we can't deliver.

Speaker 3 (01:14:29):
To, you yeah like we would do that sometimes if
people were like notorious for complaining and trying to get
free pieces all the time, and stuff, you know we'd, be, like,
no sorry some somewhere out.

Speaker 1 (01:14:41):
And so, All right so that. Never happened what about
did you ever get robbed OR anything? I? Did what
how long have you been on the job when you?

Speaker 3 (01:14:49):
Got robbed h that happened in two thousand, and four
so it was six Years in so you felt.

Speaker 1 (01:14:56):
Very comfortable your car had plenty of dents and dings,
on it like you were well established as a. Delivery guy,
oh yeah and then tell me, what happened tell me
take us, back.

Speaker 3 (01:15:08):
There, okay well like the order came in about ten
minutes before closed for some pizza and. Some wings and
it was an apartment complex behind a little small apartment
Complex Behind quick different thirty First, of SHERIDAN and i,
pull up, you know leave my car RUNNING because i
thought it was just right in front. Of me and
EXCEPT what i DID when i ride did deliveries and

(01:15:31):
turned out it ended up being the. ONE upstairs, i,
SAID whatever i let my car RUN and i go
up there and knock on. The door dude answers and
he asked me how much. IT is i. Tell him, he's,
like okay, hold on let me go. Get money, he's
like once you go ahead and. STEP in i, was,
Like nah, i'm. Good man and he. Comes back, he's, like, okay,
yeah dude. Bringing money, he's, like once good to. STEP
in i, was, like, Nah man, i'm good and like he,

(01:15:51):
you know at the step, IN again i, was, LIKE
whatever i take you one step. IN time i see
the door swing clothes. BEHIND me i guess there was
somebody hide behind IT that i. Didn't KNOW before i
could even, TURN around i get knocked over the head.
WITH something i fall down to the ground and the
dude who answered the door comes running up and kicks
me in. The face and at, this point, YOU know
I know i got. TWO people i don't know what.

(01:16:13):
The heck guys just got hit over the. Head WITH
so i just, curl up, you know feel position and,
let them, you know kick me and. Hit ME and i,
was like stop. Beating me i'm gonna give you, my
money like show up or we're gonna. Kill you and
you know they're reaching, my pocket grab, my wallet or
they didn't take. MY wallet i think they took my
wallet and took all the money out of it and
then took all the loose MONEY that i had in
my pocket and they LEFT and i heard them take.

(01:16:35):
MY car i didn't want to go out FRONT because
i didn't know if they were still, out THERE so
i ended up having to jump down off, the balcony
hit in, the BACK and i went to the, quick
trip my blood all running down my face. And stuff
ended up calling the cop and had to go get
four staples in my head because.

Speaker 1 (01:16:51):
Of it how much money were you carrying at.

Speaker 3 (01:16:53):
THE time i only have maybe somewhere between like sixteen one,
Hundred bucks and while it was the flow of the day,
THAT day i didn't make a lot of money.

Speaker 6 (01:17:02):
Into it were the police ever able to catch the
guys that beat you up and still?

Speaker 3 (01:17:08):
Your vehicle, oh yeah they were still driving. My car
three days later they got Caught At.

Speaker 1 (01:17:13):
Maclater park did you have to go to court? AND
testify i did not have.

Speaker 3 (01:17:19):
TO testify i think they ended up. Pleading guilty they
were offered a forty year, suspended sentence, and well one
of the kids, they SIXTEEN so i don't know really
what happened to him because he was, a juvenile but
the eighteen, Year, old yeah he declined to suspended sentence
and took the four years, in JAIL which i thought.
WAS weird i, was like the ONLY reason i could

(01:17:39):
think of he would. Do that he knew he's gonna get,
Into anyway so why not had to serve? My?

Speaker 1 (01:17:43):
Time now and how long did you continue to deliver
pizzas after?

Speaker 3 (01:17:48):
That? Happened, UH well i fillowed the workers comp not
mainly not because of the injuries that that sustained that
because AFTERWARDS when i, would DELIVER like i would have
anxiety attack and so and. Panic attacks, YOU know i
heard just a little small noise at night like in

(01:18:08):
apartment complexes. And stuff so uh like they sent me
the THERAPIST and i got DIAGNOS. With ptsd that.

Speaker 1 (01:18:16):
Makes sense, that yeah that would that would?

Speaker 3 (01:18:19):
Make sense and so what if they fit the manager
for about a year AND then i started working with the.

Speaker 1 (01:18:24):
Post, office okay so what did your employers say when
you told them you? Got, robbed well the.

Speaker 3 (01:18:31):
Manager was, Really cool so you reimversed me for the
money that, YOU know i h that they took, from
me even my, personal money which they shouldn't have done that,
it WAS but, i was you. Know cool.

Speaker 1 (01:18:43):
And was that a like a P because i don't
know how?

Speaker 3 (01:18:47):
They?

Speaker 1 (01:18:47):
React? Uh yeah and did that? Make it did you
feel more loyal to them because they took care? Of
you and didn't you know when all?

Speaker 3 (01:18:56):
That happened not Really like i'm. Not sorry, you know
this is two THOUSAND whenever, i started and gaps was like,
way cheap, you know by two thousand, and four gaps,
of like, you know three, DOLLARS gallon i wasn't making
near the MONEY that, i WAS so, I mean i just,
you KNOW when i, FIRST started i, was, like yeah,
You know. I'm bolling, You know i'm making like twenty
thousand dollars. A year i probably, in tips, you know

(01:19:18):
tax FREE because i wasn't playing. My taxes what.

Speaker 1 (01:19:20):
Did your would your parents and family say when you got?

Speaker 3 (01:19:25):
Beat, up well actually my parents were with my younger
Brother In puerto rico because my brother was playing Baseball
In puerto rico at, the TIME so i couldn't really
get ahold.

Speaker 1 (01:19:37):
Of them so you just Were in like how long
were you in? The hospital did you get released?

Speaker 11 (01:19:41):
That?

Speaker 3 (01:19:42):
Night, uh well, AT first i wasn't even. Gonna GO
then i, was, LIKE yeah i might as, well go,
and YEAH so, i like, uh yeah they released me.
That night they just, you know put some sticks on
my head and set me on.

Speaker 1 (01:19:53):
My way were you nervous to be in your home?
BY yourself, i.

Speaker 3 (01:19:57):
WAS well i was with my baby mom at, the
TIME BUT i. I was I think i ended up
staying with. My grandma she's the one that picked me
up because she lived maybe four or five. Blocks away
because when they stole, MY car i had stuff in
my car that, you know had my address. On IT
so i was pretty, you know reluctant to be staying
at home because my grave mom was pregnant at. The
time it was. My daughter SO and i understand my

(01:20:20):
grandma's for a couple.

Speaker 1 (01:20:21):
Of days did that have any that event AND the ptsd,
and all did that have anything to do with that? Relationship? Ending,
No no.

Speaker 3 (01:20:30):
And then we were together for. THREE years i mean
like both my kids are.

Speaker 1 (01:20:34):
From her so and and you said you went on
to be a. Postal, worker uh what was? That, process
like did you SEE an ad and you just went? And,
applied well my dad.

Speaker 3 (01:20:46):
At, THE time i mean my postal worker is kind
of in. My family, so yeah, my dad they're, you
know give them a. Tsk that then you had to
take a pad and stuff getting in order. To work
now you don't have to. Do that that then.

Speaker 1 (01:21:06):
You did and your first day when you went out
and delivered on? Your own what was we were you?
Were you did you underestimate how much work it is
to do?

Speaker 3 (01:21:17):
All?

Speaker 11 (01:21:17):
That no?

Speaker 3 (01:21:19):
NOT really i mean, IF walking, i, mean.

Speaker 1 (01:21:24):
Yeah your phone keeps. CUTTING out i don't know if
you're like you just going to the chin. Or what
but we're having your your voice. Gets muffled we're having
a hard time hearing you on. Some things uh, and
so uh so how long were you a mail? Postal worker?

Speaker 3 (01:21:38):
Seven years?

Speaker 1 (01:21:39):
Seven years and what was, the like can you recall the? Worst?

Speaker 3 (01:21:43):
Day, Uh YEAH uh i was delivering a mail and
this uh house on. My route you know occasionally they
would have the, dog out but it would be on
a chain. And stuff so like most DAYS when i
was walking up, To it i'd be able to, see
it and UH so i would just get their house
and not deliver. Their mail but One day i'm WALKING

(01:22:06):
and i guess it was kind of hidden around the
CORNER and i come around the CORNER and i, see
IT and i see it coming, at ME and i
know it's on. The Chain so, I'm, thinking okay the
BEST thing i see. IS run i can. Outrun it then,
you know once it gets to, the chain it's. Gonna
stop so, YOU know i take, off running and, YOU know,
I look i'm watching the dog the, whole time and

(01:22:28):
got two. STEPS in i ran right into a dame tree.

Speaker 1 (01:22:32):
Like get, A, cartoon Yeah Like. George jungle so does
it knock?

Speaker 3 (01:22:38):
You? Down, oh, Yes yeah i've tossed all over my face.
And stuff did the dog?

Speaker 10 (01:22:44):
Get you?

Speaker 3 (01:22:45):
It did not?

Speaker 1 (01:22:47):
That true did that dog ever? Get?

Speaker 3 (01:22:49):
You, no no that's one of the few dogs that
didn't give.

Speaker 1 (01:22:53):
Me crazy but you did get bitten by? A, Dog.

Speaker 3 (01:22:57):
Yeah i'll probably about six or seven times or?

Speaker 1 (01:23:00):
Seven? Times yeah what and and and when when you
got bet like the fourth time where You're like, I'm, GOOD.

Speaker 3 (01:23:12):
Yeah i, MEAN well i mean it never really. Got
me they never really got. Me BAD sometimes i think
there's only maybe once or twice or like. Broke in.

Speaker 1 (01:23:20):
Don't postal workers carry like some form of defense like
pepper spray or mace or club or.

Speaker 3 (01:23:28):
Or, something yeah carry. Pepper SPRAY but i mean sometimes
it happens, so fast you don't, you, know uh, you
know you don't. HAVE time, I mean i know there
was this one time there was a dog, that would,
you know just like run around, my vehicle, and so,
YOU know i, was, Like whatever i'm going to stray the.
Dang THING and i get my. Spray out they take
off running and my dumb ass wasn't. Thinking that oh,

(01:23:51):
you Know if i'm running and spaying at the, same time,
that's crazy come right back. At ME but i did
it and got all over my face and. The dog.

Speaker 1 (01:24:02):
How'd? That? Feel oh oh.

Speaker 3 (01:24:05):
My gosh it was because it was a summer, hot
day so my pores were all open. And sweaty it
took probably about forty five minutes for my face.

Speaker 1 (01:24:10):
Its burning and did you continue delivering the mail after
your face? Chilled?

Speaker 3 (01:24:15):
Out, yeah yeah it was towards the end of. MY
route i didn't have a lot a lot of. Time,
left anyways.

Speaker 1 (01:24:22):
What's the longest it ever took you to do? Your,
route like what's the do you remember the latest you ever? Got?

Speaker 3 (01:24:27):
Home, uh well on, my route it didn't ever take
as long as it should. Have taken they always had
me go help. Other ROUTES so, i mean, You, KNOW
thursdays i would go IN and i thirty in, THE
morning i would get off till sixth.

Speaker 1 (01:24:42):
At night and you'd have to work On a saturday
or how did? That?

Speaker 3 (01:24:46):
Work, Yeah yeah well SO when i, first STARTED and
i wasn't quote, unquote REGULAR like i had to work
whenever they told me. To work but THEN once i
got my, own ROUTE like, i had, you know a
certain day off. Every week it would rotate. Every week.

Speaker 1 (01:25:02):
And so it says here you were In. The guard
did you join right out of?

Speaker 3 (01:25:08):
High? SCHOOL no i did almost join the actual Army
in august of two thousand, and ONE and i ended
up deciding not TO and i decided to go to.
College instead and part of me is kind of GLAD
that i didn't because you know what happened.

Speaker 1 (01:25:25):
A year or, you know a, month, later right what
made you not want? TO join.

Speaker 3 (01:25:31):
I decided i wanted to go to college and.

Speaker 1 (01:25:33):
Play, baseball okay so you? Played baseball? What position did?

Speaker 3 (01:25:36):
You play first base? At outfield were.

Speaker 1 (01:25:39):
You pretty good in?

Speaker 3 (01:25:40):
High, School yeah i'm really good. AT hitting i made
a couple of star games because my hitting is.

Speaker 1 (01:25:46):
At dight And so i'm gonna ask, a Question and
i'm probably not gonna word. It right at what point
did you realize your baseball dream of making it like
to the next level wasn't?

Speaker 3 (01:25:56):
Gonna happen, OH well i mean.

Speaker 1 (01:26:01):
In college?

Speaker 3 (01:26:02):
Pretty much what was.

Speaker 1 (01:26:04):
It that made you realize that that was out? Of reach.

Speaker 3 (01:26:10):
Just as COLLEGE that i, WENT to i, knew that,
YOU know i wasn't going to get anything out.

Speaker 1 (01:26:13):
Of, that yeah did you play ball all? FOUR years.

Speaker 3 (01:26:18):
I don't went to college for?

Speaker 1 (01:26:19):
One year so why'd? YOU leave i liked the party,
In better so you weren't going to class or anything.

Speaker 3 (01:26:30):
Like, That yeah i'd a lot of eight o'clock classes
and that didn't agree with you know what.

Speaker 1 (01:26:34):
My extras, SO yeah i. Get it and so you
come back home and have to. Start over is that
when you start delivering? Pizzas?

Speaker 3 (01:26:47):
WELL yeah I mean i started delivering, PIZZAS again i worked.
AT pizza i took a year off in between high school.

Speaker 1 (01:26:52):
And college so you took a. Year, off yeah so
like To travel Europe, OR no i.

Speaker 3 (01:27:00):
Just didn't go. To college and then, my buddy, you
know was getting a basketball try to try out to
college Up, in BARTLESVILLE and uh talked to the basketball because,
IT'S like i got a buddy that, plays baseball so
you had me. GO down i tried OUT and i
walked onto.

Speaker 1 (01:27:15):
The, team, okay.

Speaker 10 (01:27:17):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:27:18):
Okay uh and then so when do you Join?

Speaker 8 (01:27:20):
The?

Speaker 11 (01:27:20):
Guard uh two thousand, and eight so well, After, college
well after all, That, stuff yeah what made you want?

Speaker 1 (01:27:31):
TO join.

Speaker 3 (01:27:33):
I was working with post all, the TIME and i
kind of had A feeling i didn't want to do
that my. Whole LIFE so i kind of wanted to
get the free college money and it just didnt gets
From the guard or from the, you. Know military.

Speaker 1 (01:27:47):
What was the best part about being In? The guard
what was the? Worst?

Speaker 10 (01:27:50):
Part uh.

Speaker 3 (01:27:54):
The best part was just, the camaraderie, you know, my
buddies Even though i've, seen him, you know once a month.
And so and the UNIT that i was in was,
pretty cool you. Know whatever we did our two week
drill Down To, camp gruber our pt. With softball one
of our training exercises was going down On The illinois river.

(01:28:15):
And floating we called it water. Survival, TRAINING.

Speaker 1 (01:28:19):
Yeah, i mean you gotta. Make It did and so
what did you why didn't you renew? AFTER four.

Speaker 3 (01:28:28):
I just wasn't feeling. It, Anymore, okay yeah MY unit i,
WAS in i was a motor transport and my unit
we didn't even have. Any trucks.

Speaker 1 (01:28:39):
So you felt like this was a waste?

Speaker 3 (01:28:41):
Of, time, yeah, kinda yeah a. Little bit.

Speaker 1 (01:28:46):
And it says here that you had mandatory nap time
when you were in. The, guard yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:28:51):
BASIC training i was in a, sleep study, basic training
and our unit we got the, extra rest so like
we never woke up before like eight o'clock in. The
Morning are like that was like nine o'clock. At night
and every day after lunch we had to go lay

(01:29:12):
down in our bunk for a.

Speaker 1 (01:29:13):
Thirty minutes, Right, Now sean, RIGHT now i can hear
every active service man and woman yelling.

Speaker 3 (01:29:23):
At you, three football.

Speaker 1 (01:29:27):
The three things you, just mentioned floating, the, river naptime,
soft ball. So annoyed they're so annoyed? Right, now, yeah Yeah,
huckle no. That's true it's not. Your fault. That's true
it's not. Your fault, right, On, man well what do

(01:29:47):

Speaker 1 (01:30:57):
It, up dude you have? Three balls you're? Into?

Speaker 3 (01:30:59):

the studio at nine and we can ask him that
question for you and you can get an answer about
any family laws scenario a couple, ways again email show
at kmod. Dot com you can text bmms and whatever

(01:33:27):
that question is to, eight, two nine four, or five
or call when he is in the studio toll free
at eight through three. Four, six OH kmod i saw
this Story About. Steve burns do you know who? That
is he Is The He's. Blues, clues, yeah, okay okay the, original, host, correct,
yeah yeah. Yeah correct he says every waiter made more

(01:33:51):
money than he did during. That, show okay depends on
where you're Waiting at, BUT okay, i mean, he's saying
AND so i went down the rabbit hole to try
and find how much he made. Per, episode now he wasn't.
A kid this isn't a scenario where his parents were taking,
the money and that's why he. Got none he was
twenty two twenty three when he started on.

Speaker 6 (01:34:13):
That show and didn't he leave that show so he
could go and get a? College education.

Speaker 1 (01:34:18):
No idea but he's saying he didn't make any money,
doing that and that show was super popular when he.
Did it it really took Off, from nickelodeon and they
obviously went on to do other branding things and board
GAMES and tv shows and cups and lunchboxes. AND shirts

(01:34:39):
i mean so. Much. STUFF right i looked the average
salary of a waiter in nineteen ninety seven was about
thirty seven. Thousand, dollars wow so he got paid less,
than that. He says that, says anyway because he said
it was a. Side hustle it was not his full.
Time job he was doing voice work and that was
where he. Made money and then that is something he

(01:34:59):
did on the side and he still does, voice work
has a pretty. Good clientele he's got about ten million dollars,
net worth like he's, doing fine but he's never said
how much, he made at least FROM what i, could
find he. Never, shared hey they were paying me one
thousand dollars, a, Week RIGHT so i, don't know like

(01:35:22):
to say that and then not back. That up it
just feels like a. Nothing burger maybe maybe he just
felt like waiters were making more than him at. The
time maybe he had a.

Speaker 7 (01:35:32):
Bad deal maybe he was squandering his, money away, NOT
really i don't want to say, like saving but like not.
Spending responsibly.

Speaker 1 (01:35:41):
You know do you KNOW who. I am i'm the
Host Of Blues, freaking clues.

Speaker 7 (01:35:47):
You know so he starts making it rain and at
all the strip bars With That blues, clues money, you
know and maybe he felt maybe he just.

Speaker 1 (01:35:55):
Felt like he was they were getting. PAID more i
just think if you're going to, say that you got
to back it up with. A, number yeah you're. Absolutely.
RIGHT now i could see your first timer trying to
Make It La new, york whatever and then you get
offered this thing and you just take whatever deal they
throw at you because you're just HAPPY to i could
see that that. Makes, sense yeah they just got a. Bad,

(01:36:17):
deal yeah didn't.

Speaker 7 (01:36:18):
Negotiate it maybe he didn't get any entertainment lawyers involved
or whatever the. Case is but he did it for like,
six Years if i'm. Not mistaken so it isn't like
he signed a six, year. Deal right there would have
been a time to re up and then you. Could
renegotiate but it's maybe it was one of those, it's,
like well, you know we can't we can't really afford
to pay. You anymore here's, all this, you know, extra

(01:36:40):
responsibility but we can't pay.

Speaker 1 (01:36:42):
You ANYMORE and i would think you had, an AGENT
and i think you would have an agent that'd, be,
like listen this show's going to Be. On nickelodeon we
can get, you. More right and maybe he said he
was going, to college but maybe he asked for more
money and they, were, like yeah you're nobody will replace
you with, someone else and, they did and, they did
and that show's still. On today is that that still

(01:37:03):
that same guy read? Him different they guy. REPLACED him. I.
THINK so i Haven't Watched blues clues in. TWENTY years
I watched i've seen. The movie there's like, two movies
one or two Movies and i've seen those with, my
kids And maybe i've seen an episode, or two but other, than,
That no i've Never Seen. BLUES clues i never got

(01:37:25):
into it or my kids were. Into it maybe here's.
The thought he is just saying this to get.

Speaker 7 (01:37:33):
Out THERE and i don't want to say stay relevant
because he's not really relevant.

Speaker 3 (01:37:38):
Right now.

Speaker 7 (01:37:39):
YOU know i hear he's just trying to get his
name back. Out there so we're Talking about Steve From.

Speaker 1 (01:37:43):
BLUES clue i, Hear you AND normally i, wouldn't AGREE
but i think we're seeing a kind of change happening
because there's so many podcasts right that they need people,
on them and there are people that are showing up.
On podcasts, you're like why is this person on a?
Pot podcast so maybe then, You, Go Okay rain wilson

(01:38:08):
From the Office has Steve From. Blues, clues okay that's kind, of,
fun right you KNOW what? I, Mean yeah steve's going
to be on this? Week's episode what and then what
do you talk about for two Hours with Steve From? Blues? Clothes?
Right exactly by, THE way i watched not last night's
but the week before last. Of us Tell me i'm

(01:38:31):
not the only one That noticed Dora. The explorer Tell
me i'm not the only one that put. It together
the girl that is the love Interest. Of, Ellie, YEAH
abby i think your Name. Is, No no abby's.

Speaker 3 (01:38:41):
The.

Speaker 1 (01:38:41):
Killer uh that's the girl Who played Dora the explorer
in the live. Action movie and at one point she
comes into the room and opens a map and says
all the things you need to do and what you need.
To pack tell me That wasn't i've.

Speaker 7 (01:38:56):
Never seen the door, of MOVIE so i didn't put the.
Connection there but that makes sense the way you. Describe
IT but i totally does that in the in the show.

Speaker 6 (01:39:04):
She Does and i'm glad you mentioned IT because i have,
been like where what is? She from WHERE have i
seen this?

Speaker 1 (01:39:10):
Girl before so if sometimes through the season she says
swipe or, no swiping we know. What's up. That's her
just such a. Funny thing not, like hey we should
stay away from this character type because she. Played, it
no they, just, LIKE yeah i know you you come
out because it was kind of a weird scene where

(01:39:30):
she just shows up and has a map and all,
these THINGS like i get it for, the. Storyline huh
and she's like, overly, Prepared right, you're like? Who's this
so clearly she's been on, some expeditions she. Has experience
it's just you know her her friends have changed a. Little, bit,

(01:39:51):
yeah yeah no longer carrying around that. BACKPACKING monthy.

Speaker 8 (01:39:57):
I.

Speaker 1 (01:39:57):
SAW that i, was like? WHAT'S up I. Told mike,
i'm like that's she, goes huh, never mind, all right
we got to take. A break we'll Be Back Tilsa's,
Morning Show The Big Band.

Speaker 10 (01:40:09):
Morning show the assault continues next twenty.

Speaker 1 (01:40:13):
Seventy five, Good morning It's THE Big Nad. Morning show
toll free eight, through three, four six oh kmod need
some help with trying to figure out how you can
see your kid, this summer or maybe you don't want

(01:40:33):
them to see your kid. This summer i'm not sure
how to. Navigate that give us. Your Question jeff Kinsley
From hensley associates will be in the studio in about
ten minutes to answer. Your questions any family law scenario
just have to. Be custody it could be, adopt, you guardianships.
Name changes get your question to a show at kmode.
Dot com we all know there is A new cowboys,
head coach and he has already made. A change he

(01:40:57):
has decided to shake up the lower room and change
where players, are sitting and he says the players have
no say, in it and He'd Put michael parsons Next
to Dak And ceedee lamb and all the leaders in. One,
SPOT okay i don't think it's uncommon for a coach

(01:41:21):
to come in and. Do this if you're trying to, be,
like hey we are, different now we aren't what, you
were it makes sense to, be like you're not sitting
where you.

Speaker 7 (01:41:31):
Were sitting maybe it's to build, team chemistry but do
you think they already got? It though those guys have
been working together for a long.

Speaker 1 (01:41:39):
Time now it's. A misconception it's the same players, every
year it's the. Same stars but there's a lot of
turnover that happens in the. Football world so maybe some
of them, have camaraderie but, YOU know i. Don't know
maybe they're. HAVING potlucks i, don't know but they're not having.
Enough potlucks but having the, leaders united that. MAKES sense

(01:42:00):
i think you when you come in and you've got
to have, a revolution which. They, need yeah because that
star on the helmet is the, rating truth then you
gotta do some things that maybe, aren't expected and you
Can't go i'm a big believer in these. Two phrases
do the best, you can the most, you can, and
well let's go ahead and change. The seats you gotta.

(01:42:22):
Try Everything but i've never heard in anybody who's ever
Won A super bowl and a turnaround here or been
to the playoffs and, been, like man everything changed when
they moved my. Locker, right never that's not A thing. I've,
heard oh this could be the, first time first time, for,
everything right this could this could be the one. That's

(01:42:44):
true that's but that's that's. Definitely, true true there's the
first time. For everything there's also a track record right,
right right there's also the attitude has. To, change well
what haven't you? Guys done you what we haven't shook
it up the locker room and made people sit next
to people they're not, used to like the strike.

Speaker 6 (01:43:04):
In kindergarten.

Speaker 1 (01:43:05):
RIGHT exactly i mean there's stories OF like i wish
there was more of this of when a new coach,
comes in you can see all the things. They do
they changed the. Entry, code, well yeah they don't want
the old guy. Coming, in no that's not the concern

The here we're getting a lot of these type. Of,
questions jeff. Good morning my son is eighteen and is
about to graduate high school and head off. To college
my ex WIFE and i have. Joint custody what are
my legal obligations to pay for? His college our divorce
decree doesn't say anything.

Speaker 12 (01:46:57):
About it what's because in the State, of oklahoma there's
zero zero requirements to pay child, excuse me to pay.
College funds there's.

Speaker 3 (01:47:04):
Just.

Speaker 12 (01:47:04):
Not now there are certain States like hawaii and a.
Few others the ONLY reason i know a few of
those Others because i've seen those decrees that have come
across my desk over the years where there is a
requirement to be able to pay a certain amount of
college funds to pay for fees and things.

Speaker 2 (01:47:20):
Like That but oaklhom is.

Speaker 12 (01:47:21):
Not that so there is zero requirement in this state
for you to pay for our higher education for. Your
child once your kid is eighteen and graduates, high school
they are on.

Speaker 2 (01:47:29):
Their own so there is.

Speaker 12 (01:47:31):
Zero requirements and that's why it's silent in the decree
is because it's just not Required in oklahoma and we
don't put into. The, cree now that doesn't mean that people, Can't,
Agree okay so what that means is is while there's no,
legal obligation if the parties agree to, do so they
can do that and put it in the decree and they.
Be enforceable, That's fine but the parties have to agree
one hundred percent and if, they don't then it's not.

Speaker 1 (01:47:54):
In There jeff Finsley from Hensley and associates is in.
The studio got a question about Any family los, scenario, divorce.
Custody guardianship he can answer. Those questions now he's another.
EMAIL one i have full custody of my thirteen year.
Old son we have child support set Up Through Oklahoma Child.
Support enforcement LAST time i looked at the support amount.
She owes she is behind by twelve. Thousand dollars she Lives,

(01:48:16):
in ARKANSAS and i don't have a physical address. For
her what are? My, options.

Speaker 2 (01:48:21):
Well you've got a.

Speaker 12 (01:48:22):
COUPLE options, i mean the first one is is you
CAN let dhs file something saying that she's behind and
file a contempt saying she's behind twelve, thousand whatever and
she needs to come in pay or work out a
payment plan to get, caught up or go.

Speaker 2 (01:48:35):
TO jail, i mean that's.

Speaker 12 (01:48:36):
ONE option dhs does, do that although because Especially Like
tulsa County And, oklahoma county the really, big counties they
were so busy and, so understaffed they don't always get
around to that as quickly as one. Would like you can,
hire us we could file a contempt, as well get.
Her served now here's, the problem, all right because the

(01:48:56):
person lives in. Another state can we file? A? Contempt
absolute can we get that?

Speaker 2 (01:49:01):
Person? Served absolutely so what happens.

Speaker 12 (01:49:04):
When they don't show up for, THE arraignment a bench
warrant will go out there for their arrest for an,
appearance bond which is usually about one.

Speaker 2 (01:49:11):
Thousand dollars, All right but that's about where it's going.

Speaker 12 (01:49:15):
To end and THE reason i say that, is this
unless the person comes into the state and you can
get that, warrant activated, all right then they could sit
over in any other state Outside of oklahoma never come,
back in and therefore.

Speaker 2 (01:49:30):
You're never going to activate. That warrant. You know that's
the problem with people living out of state.

Speaker 12 (01:49:34):
And warrants now, people, think well what if they get
pulled over and they see, A, warrant well they may
arrest them on.

Speaker 2 (01:49:40):
That warrant but here's the.

Speaker 12 (01:49:41):
Bigger problem child support is not considered a very important
warrant when it comes to extraditing people across.

Speaker 2 (01:49:48):
State lines they just don't.

Speaker 12 (01:49:49):
Do it it is, a rare rare case that somebody
has extradited from another state to come Back to oklahoma
or any other state for a child support.

Speaker 2 (01:49:57):
Enforcement thing so can we.

Speaker 12 (01:50:00):
Get the, Warrant absolutely can we, get, Observed yes can
we file the, Contempt yes but collection that's the harder
part because unless they come into the state and get that,
warrant activated it's hard. To, collect so, you know one
of the other things if, the person now this is,
another option if that person, is, working OKAY then dhs
can file a income assignment on, an individual take it

(01:50:21):
directly from. Their paycheck but a lot of times when
we see people this, far behind they, aren't working or
they're working under, the table or they don't have bank accounts,
to levy so it's harder. TO collect, i mean it's
a real pain in the butt.

Speaker 1 (01:50:32):
For sure the message said that they don't have a.
Physical address does that stop a law firm From Or
hinsling associates from finding individuals in?

Speaker 2 (01:50:41):
Other states not.

Speaker 12 (01:50:42):
At all and just because you don't have a physical
address doesn't mean that we can't find a. Physical, Address
okay so, you know just because you don't, have one
that's not a problem. For us we've always been able to.
Find somebody it's, you know so we can. Do that just,
to understand it's just because you don't have something doesn't
mean that we can't. Find them so please don't stop things,
from now and not, At all so please give us
a call we'd love.

Speaker 1 (01:51:01):
To help there's another example why you need to have
legal representation because they can help you with some of.
Those things you don't have to find people's Addresses via
facebook or find who their. Employer Is hinsland associates has
resources to make. That happen how far apart can parents
live while having fifty to fifty split each week when

(01:51:21):
a child is? In school.

Speaker 2 (01:51:24):
There's no straight answer, for that there's.

Speaker 12 (01:51:26):
REALLY not, i Mean that's i've got other questions back,
at you such as are the children is the child
or children in traditional brick and?

Speaker 2 (01:51:33):
Mortar schools are they in?

Speaker 12 (01:51:35):
VIRTUAL school I mean i know of one case where
mom lives in, one state dad. Lives here kids go
back and forth even though they're in their teens because
they're in.

Speaker 2 (01:51:46):
Virtual school.

Speaker 12 (01:51:48):
You know that's one thing is that with the advent
of virtual school that came about because of, the pandemic
we've seen a lot of changes in that way of.
TIME frames, i mean they're on virtual they can literally do.
It anywhere if they're in a traditional brick and mortar
there's no requirement of how far you. Live apart it
really kind of boils down to is how far are
you willing to drive to take them to school. Every
day it, Really Is and corbyn started the segment, by

(01:52:11):
saying this is every case. Is unique every case has
its own set of facts that make it. Sublimely, unique
therefore just because you talk to your buddy or your
girlfriend and says, they say well it's just, like mine
well no. It's not because the people involved. Are different
the situations, are different whether you realize it.

Speaker 2 (01:52:30):
Or not so there's no.

Speaker 12 (01:52:31):
Set Rules when i'm saying, on this whoever, this is
please give me. A call i'd love to talk to
you more in detail about what. You're asking kind of
give me the scenario that you're. Looking at but you
know those are kind of it at. Virtual school there's
not really a set. Thing anymore with more brick and,
mortar schools it's really about how far are you willing
to drive kind. Of things so there's ways to, handle
it we just need to know.

Speaker 1 (01:52:52):
MORE specifics i want to backtrack a second to so
you can clarify something. For me and there is sometimes
restriction in miles in decrees, Right right so those.

Speaker 12 (01:53:04):
Those restrictions are if you're going to move more than
seventy five miles from. The jurisdiction so whatever county you,
live in if you're going to move more than seventy,
five miles, all right there are certain things that you have,
to do. All right so you've got to, give notice
you've got to give a new. Visitation schedule, you know
there's a whole list of things that you have, to
do and you have to give at least sixty days
notice and all these. Other things so that's where the

(01:53:26):
mileage restriction. Comes in and it's not quote unquote a restriction,
per se other than to say that if you're going to,
do this these are the things you have, to do
and the other side has a right, to object and if,
they object then they come in and we've got to
have a guardian and lat, them appointed and there's going
to be, hearing on, you know certain things according to.
The statute so, you know that's where the mileage restriction.

Speaker 2 (01:53:45):
Comes.

Speaker 12 (01:53:45):
In again if people agree to, different things it's a whole.
Other issue but if, they don't we've got to follow.

Speaker 2 (01:53:52):
The law and that's where, we.

Speaker 1 (01:53:53):
Go which you bring up, a lot and that is
you if you can come to your, own, agreements right
it saves a bunch of time, and, Money.

Speaker 12 (01:53:59):
Absolutely and That's what i'd tell people from the beginning is,
you know the, less time the less money it takes
with the more reasonable you guys are with, each other the, more, hateful,
contentious stupid pain in the butt and awful you are to.
Each other the, more time the, more money the, more
hearings the more, you know all these things we have
to do because you guys aren't. Getting along so That's
why i'm saying every case is different is because the
people involved make.

Speaker 1 (01:54:20):
It different this, deck says my kid's mom has not
seen or talked to the kids in. SEVEN years i
don't think she would try and. Come back is THERE
anything i can set up now to make sure they
are taken care of by FAMILY if?

Speaker 3 (01:54:32):
I die?

Speaker 12 (01:54:33):
THERE is i mean, By nominating so what we do
is we would set something where you would nominate them
as guardians essentially once you if you were to.

Speaker 2 (01:54:41):
Pass away this is where we get the idea.

Speaker 12 (01:54:43):
Of, Godparents okay and we've talked about this before in,
the past and it's always good to bring it back
up every now. And then is the issue of, you
know what is? A, godparent well it's not just more than, someone, saying,
oh well YOU know i love you and you're my godfather.
Or godmother it's basically those, people are whether they realize that,
are not are agreeing to a certain degree to be

(01:55:04):
a guardian if something were to happen, To you and
if you put all that, in writing you're nominating that
person to be the guardian four year child should you
pass away before they hit the age, of majority which.

Speaker 2 (01:55:13):
Is eighteen, SO.

Speaker 12 (01:55:16):
Yeah i mean that's how you would. Handle that so
we can help you. With that please give us. A
call we'd love to set. That up and you need
to be thinking about setting up a trust so that
they have things set for them if something were to
happen to you, as well so, you know we can
help you with trust and wills and all.

Speaker 1 (01:55:28):
That stuff and if some were to happen, to them
she would be, Entitled right so.

Speaker 12 (01:55:33):
If something were to happen to him without something else,
in place could she come back, technically yes but the
problem she'd run into, is again somebody would, move in
hopefully on a guardian ship because she hadn't been around for.
Seven years she doesn't know, the kids she doesn't know anything,
about him blah. BLAH blah i mean there's a lot of,
issues there, BUT legally i mean. IT depends i mean,

(01:55:53):
technically yes, but again not being in the kid's life for,
seven years.

Speaker 2 (01:55:56):
There's more than enough grounds to come in on a.

Speaker 1 (01:55:58):
GUARDIAN ship i don't KNOW if i want to get
in the, weeds Here But i'm i'm gonna take. A
step uh oh if what if there's, no one what
is the procedure, To, try like there's, no grandmother's, no aunt,
he dies what happens to?

Speaker 2 (01:56:12):
The kid?

Speaker 1 (01:56:12):
The child then what goes into protectically.

Speaker 2 (01:56:15):
GOES into dhs custody at that.

Speaker 1 (01:56:16):
And then they will try to investigate and find in,
this example her right.

Speaker 12 (01:56:21):
OR anything, i mean they'll do everything they can, to find,
you know the other parents or, you know some family member.
Or something but there's not always an extra family member.
Out there now, it's rarer not, you know it's not,
unheard of but it's more rare than it used to
be to have those kind.

Speaker 2 (01:56:38):
Of issues but they.

Speaker 12 (01:56:38):
Still exist and so that's how kids can end UP
in dhs custody under, nobody's fault no, parent's fault just
except for the fact that they're dead or can't be found.

Speaker 1 (01:56:50):
And there's no reassimilation or anything, like that like when
parents are gone for a while that they have to
ease the child parent relationship. Back, in right in, that scenario.

Speaker 12 (01:57:00):
They were to find her and she was willing to take,
the kid there's a chance the kid would just be
dumped in the deep end of.

Speaker 2 (01:57:04):
The POOL but, i, mean again those are those are.

Speaker 12 (01:57:07):
Rare scenarios those are, you know god forbid scenarios that
we hope don't.

Speaker 2 (01:57:11):
Ever, happen, SO yeah i.

Speaker 1 (01:57:13):
Just wanted to push the point of why it's important to. Have.

Speaker 12 (01:57:15):
Something, yeah absolutely and that's that's why you want to
have a trust or something, that, SAYS hey i nominate
this person as a guardian to, you know be the
guardian of my child should something happened. TO me, i
mean it's always a good thing to have in the
back of, your mind because, you know you can't just
expect everybody to come in and take care of your
kid once. YOU'RE gone, i mean you should always have
that in the back of.

Speaker 1 (01:57:32):
Your mind this TEXT says i had a child with.
My girlfriend i've heard mixed signals. ABOUT rights i did
sign papers in the hospital acknowledging him as my child
and sign the. BIRTH certificate i heard there was a
new law that changed that Back, of november would still
give the same rights to me. As her is? This true, that's, no.

Speaker 12 (01:57:51):
No no the Law since november first of twenty and
eleven has been that dads have zero rights until they
are adjudicated or legally found to. Be dead that's the
way it's been for the last fourteen almost well almost,
fourteen years thirteen and a half.

Speaker 1 (01:58:04):
Years now and the fact that it's with, his girlfriend not, his,
wife right and then he has to prove he's the.

Speaker 12 (01:58:09):
DAD potentially, i mean if nobody is disputing that, he's
dad you don't have to TAKE a. Dna test but if, she's,
SAYING well i don't think your DAD because i am
messed around with so and so while YOU and i, were, Dating.

Speaker 1 (01:58:20):
Right but he has to come to court and show.

Speaker 12 (01:58:22):
It's right and the thing, is is even though you're
on the, birth certificate even though you sign the acknowledgment
that only gives you a presumption in the State of
oklahoma that. Your dad that does not give. You proof
so that's why we have to do, these things is
to show to the court that you. Are dad so
if you're having.

Speaker 1 (01:58:38):
That issue.

Speaker 2 (01:58:38):
Call me we're going to follow a paternity case and
get this going.

Speaker 1 (01:58:41):
For You jeff Hensley from Hensley and associates is in.
The studio if you have a question, about, divorce, custody guardianship,
name change any family, lost scenario he can answer that question.
Right now email us SHOW at kmod, dot com text
bmms and whatever your question is to eight two nine
four five are call toll free at eight three three.
Four SIX soho, KMOD says i have filed for child

(01:59:03):
support Here, in oklahoma but my divorce decree Is. In
TEXAS do i Need a texas lawyer Or an oklahoma
lawyer to?

Speaker 3 (01:59:09):
Get?

Speaker 2 (01:59:09):
Started so where say that?

Speaker 3 (01:59:11):
First?

Speaker 1 (01:59:11):
PART again i have filed for child support Here, in
oklahoma my divorce decree Is, in, Texas right so.

Speaker 12 (01:59:16):
What will happen IS is Dhs and oklahoma will COMMUNICATE
with Dhs in texas to get the numbers and all,
that stuff at Which.

Speaker 2 (01:59:22):
Point Oklahoma, will okay let me.

Speaker 1 (01:59:25):
Back up it.

Speaker 12 (01:59:26):
Doesn't say where the children, are, located? Right CORRECT so
i think let's look at this from. Two ways, All
right it doesn't matter where your decree, is from it's
where the child. Is, Located okay so if you Live
in oklahoma but your decree Is from texas and the
kid Lives, in utah what's going to happen IS is
dhs is going to start. The process. All right the
fact that your Decrees in texas. Doesn't matter they're just

(01:59:49):
going to take the numbers and things out of that to,
enforce it send It, to Utah and utah is going
to be Collecting for oklahoma then sending it. To you
that's probably clear, as mud But basically oklahoma starts the
process Us contexts, utah, says hey kid lives in you
kid and mom or whoever LIVES in.

Speaker 2 (02:00:07):
I said, that backwards clear one, of, Those right so
let me back up. Erase that so.

Speaker 12 (02:00:18):
The person that is the money, owed to which sounds
like this person she whoever, it IS says i have Filed,
in OKLAHOMA meaning i am looking for child support to
be paid, to me is what it sounds like.

Speaker 3 (02:00:30):
To? ME correct?

Speaker 12 (02:00:31):
I agree, All right so wherever the other person that owes,
is located no matter what state, they're in, All right
oklahoma will collect for you from that. Other state so
let's say the person that owes Lives in utah and
the custodial parent lives here to, hold Support and oklahoma's
going to, start it send It to utah and, say

(02:00:52):
hey we need you to collect the money and send it,
to us and we'll send it to whoever is asking. For, It,
okay now THE fact i think they were they were
really concentrating on the Issue of. Texas decree doesn't matter
where your decree. IS from, i mean it could Be,
FROM bolivia i don't care where. It's from they're going
to take the numbers and the information in it and
use it for the collection side. Of things so they're
going to come in, and say according To your, texas

(02:01:14):
DECREE they're x number of dollars that are owed for,
child support and so that's the number we're going to
collect and send, to you. All right so that's it
doesn't matter where your decree. Is from it could be from,
any state it could be from anywhere outside of. The,
states really they're going to use that number to collect,
for you because that's they're going to enforce.

Speaker 1 (02:01:33):
That Collection jeff Heinsley From hensley associates is in. The
studio if you have, a question you, can Call like
james has at eight three three four, six Oh, kmod
james what's your Question For jeff Hensley of Hensley. And, associates,
YEAH man I have i'm been in the.

Speaker 13 (02:01:47):
GUARDIANSHIP case i have full custody of my thirteen year
old daughter since she was like three. Years OLD and
i just recently was on vacation and got an assault
and battery Charge In. South carolina, and MEANWHILE while i was,
incarcerated there my, ex wife which is not my, child's

(02:02:08):
mother went and got a temporary guardianship, on her AND
whenever i got Back, TO oklahoma i couldn't get. My
daughter AND then i went to every guardianship court hearing
and then the judge just put me through the ring or,
you know put me over. The coals And now i'm
she's making me jump through all these Hoops and I'm

(02:02:31):
telling i'm unfit father and, all this and when the
state actually gave me custody of her when she, was three.

Speaker 12 (02:02:38):
But you didn't, have it but you didn't have an
assault and battery charge against you when she. WAS three
i mean that that's, the, issue Man is first, of
all what county is This In, Creek?

Speaker 2 (02:02:47):
County okay so here's.

Speaker 12 (02:02:49):
The thing when you go and catch criminal charges while
you're this. Custodial parent that's when you run. Into problems
and when you went and got your assault battery charge
Out In, south carolina that's when you started. Having issues
and the problem is is that what you're talking about
things you have, to, do well that's called the list,
of standards things you have to complete before you can

(02:03:11):
do emotion to terminate to get your. Kid back so
the past is the past as far as why they
gave you the kid when she. Was three now we're
dealing with the current issue of you've got an assaultant
battery charge Out Of. South carolina what's it look like?
For that are they gonna are you gonna have to
serve time? On that did you take?

Speaker 2 (02:03:28):
A plead what's going on?

Speaker 13 (02:03:29):
WITH that i am, Currently Today actually I'M in i
have an attorney down There and i'm enrolling IN their
pti Program and i've talked to the director and she
SAYS that i can complete EVERYTHING that i need to Do.

Speaker 12 (02:03:44):
From, OKLAHOMA so, i mean my guess is is until
you finish all the stuff dealing with your, criminal case
the guardian ship's going to remain, in place and then
you're going to finish whatever until and then we can
file a motion. To terminate so if you'll give your
name a Number, To gimpie i'll call you and we
can set out a timeline and kind of get that
figured out for you so we can get something file
to get your kid back at. Some POINT but i

(02:04:04):
mean that's the problem is if you're custodio parent and
you end up with criminal charges felony or misdemeanor, the
way and you're looking at potential jail time or you've served,
you know whatever it. May be that's where people can
come in and, get guardianships especially if you've been Incarcerated
In south carolina for a certain amount of time on
the original pickup when you, originally happened and the kids,

(02:04:25):
BY themselves i mean that there has to be somebody
to take care.

Speaker 2 (02:04:28):
Of them that's kind of the thought behind. It too so,
you know give your number number to.

Speaker 13 (02:04:31):
Get the, i'm, sorry, yeah, RIGHT absolutely. I.

Speaker 1 (02:04:35):
Agree man let me ask you, A, question james how
long were you Incarcerated In? South carolina a little over.

Speaker 13 (02:04:42):
A week because their law there is you have to have.
Two bondsmen you have a Bondsman in oklahoma and a
bondsman down there that will work together to get.

Speaker 1 (02:04:51):
You out so.

Speaker 13 (02:04:54):
It should be a pretty cut and. Dry Thing but
i'm just now starting.

Speaker 1 (02:04:58):
To process sure what triggered?

Speaker 3 (02:05:00):
The?

Speaker 1 (02:05:01):
Assault what what was it a? Bar fight what?

Speaker 13 (02:05:03):
Was it absolutely bar fight on.

Speaker 1 (02:05:06):
The beach.

Speaker 13 (02:05:08):
You just can't talk to me in the kind, of way.
YOU know, i mean somebody got out, of line, you
know and we just.

Speaker 2 (02:05:13):
Handled, it yeah but now you lost your kids because
You have yeah that.

Speaker 1 (02:05:17):
Feels, crazy, Yeah, absolutely yeah, Hang, online james so give
you can get Your your so you can get that,
so quick.

Speaker 2 (02:05:24):
You know public.

Speaker 12 (02:05:25):
Service, announcement okay the vagaries of bad decisions caused by
alcohol and or drugs can obviously have a vastly negative
effect on you and, your family especially when you're dealing
with things like this where, you know now you've lost
your kid in, a guardianship or, you know it could.
Be worse someone could come in on emergency custody and

(02:05:47):
take your child away, from you your other side. OR whatever,
i mean it's we, have to, you know deal with
the consequences of, our actions, and so, you know when you've,
got children and. It's hard we're all we're all, human,
beings right we all make miss but, you know when
we've got, kids involved we've got to think.

Speaker 2 (02:06:03):
Think ahead, so anyway.

Speaker 1 (02:06:05):
What is the number percentage wise if you had to
put a guess, on it what is the number of
cases where people lose custody their children connected, to? ALCOHOL drugs?

Speaker 2 (02:06:14):
A lot i mean they can't, FIFTY percent.

Speaker 12 (02:06:20):
I, would, SAY yeah I mean i could say maybe,
fifty percent with the other fifty percent being mental. HEALTH issues,
I mean i think that's probably where we're at, these days.
IS that, i mean that's not those aren't just the only,
three things but there are other sub parts that are,
you know. Much smaller but for the last majority it
deals with drugs and alcohol and, you know criminal.

Speaker 2 (02:06:41):
Charges and mental health issues and things.

Speaker 1 (02:06:43):

to try and, intimidate you not really knowing what they're
