games and college all this week? I mean, you know,
teams like LSU playing uc LA, some games you know
that were arranged years and years ago, and conference realignment.
Do you still find yourself like when you when you
see your Bearcats you start looking up, You're like, oh,

who are they playing? You're like, oh, we're in the
Big Twelve? Now?
Speaker 1 (01:26):
You ever do that often? Often? I tell you what,
I'll tell you what's I'll tell you what's been weird
here in the first couple of weeks of the season.
And this isn't really anybody's fault, but in the Big
twelve specifically, there have been conference games that are non
conference games because they were arranged, Like Kansas State Arizona
played a non conference game as conference foes last week,

and there's we've had that before. But that's that's weird.
That that's weird, and it adds to an already very
weird dynamic.

Yeah, it's strange times. Who knows what's going to happen
the pack the Pack twelve might end up the Pack
twelve again?

Who knows? Yeah, who knows speaking to my Bearcats. They're
home this week the Big twelve ote. But are they
bounced back with a win over Miami. They are laying
three against the Houston Cougars. What do we like?

So the first year that Houston, you know, is under
the new coaching regime, I think they're going to continue
to have problems. I mean they won last week. The
quarterback throwing Donovan Smith for one hundred and forty two yards,
I mean he is very erratic. Willie Fritz his first
year at Houston did not go well at all. He
eventually turned things around. I think he's a really good coach.

But I like the way that the Bearcats played last week.
I mean, if you look at just like stats wise,
you know, it was closed, but they were efficient. Yeah,
Mi had some you know, yardage in between the twenties,
but the quarterback played well and he turned the ball
over once. Kinder big game, even the transfer from Ohio
State Prior had a big run. And David Henderson, I

mean they've played for many many years down here at Miami.
Columbus finally had his biggest game yet. So I think
they're gonna keep rolling. I think this line's low I
have Cincinnati winning this game here, thirty one to twenty one.

All right, we're off to a good start. We've had
a pair of two and ozero teams that are doing
it with defense. Pittsburgh is lighte favorite against the Chargers.
Speaker 2 (03:22):
Yeah, and the Chargers are going to keep running the football.
In fact, they've run the ball fifty nine percent of
the highest percent in the league. And that's Jim Harball
football JK Dobbins early candidate for comeback Player of the Year.
I think Pittsburgh knows that they just can't allow him
to run the football. I think you're going to see
a lot of seven in the box here and make

the Chargers throw the football. They the receivers for the
Chargers just don't scare me. Even the tight ends just
not getting enough separation. So it's not going to be exciting.
You can probably step out and if you want to
go to the pumping pack, punk and patch and if
that's open yet, and get a pumpkin with a go

one to sixteen. I think special teams might be the difference.

I mean, Kinseity won those two games. First game against
Baltimore last week, either by a tow or one point.

Cincinnati comes up with one play, they win that game.
The Commanders might have the worst defense. They got carved
up by Baker Mayfield in Tampa Bay opening week, lying
thirty seven points in three hundred and ninety two yards.
Their past defense, I believe is the worst in the NFL.
They have a lot of breaks and coverage here, so

somehow they beat the Giants despite not scoring a touchdown. Here,
Cincinnati finally gets on the win column here, thirty one
