Speaker 1 (00:00):
We talked fantasy football with our guy Dan Glaskins, most
of fantastics outside of football on serious extraft fantasy. This
is the day that I dread Dan. This is the
day where as somebody who is not eligible to be
in the postseason, who has been eliminated and frankly got
eliminated weeks ago, I have to go to the ATM
(00:20):
to get some cash so I can pay my league fees.
It's always a sobering day.
Speaker 2 (00:26):
Yes, yes, at least you pay your fees, right, that's
one of the things that is always helpful. But it
is a depressing thing. And here's the thing. If you
didn't make the fantasy playoffs, half the people in your
name didn't. You're just average, So I mean, you know,
I mean you've been hearing your average whole life, so
it shouldn't be that big a No, I'm just teasing, brother,
(00:46):
but no, this is the season, mo, where it is
a bitter and in a season of bitterness, I thought
we would start today segment. It's sort of the things
I hate the most about fantasy football because we got
these things all bottled up. And I'll tell you one
of the things I hate it kickers. I had literally
been on a crusade for like fifteen years to ban
them from every league in America, talking about it on
(01:09):
the radio show on Social certainly in the leagues I managed.
Last week, I actually was going against Brandon Aubrey in
the game. I had a win, which didn't help you
get knocked out with his twenty five points. The variance
is just too much, man, Let's get away with it.
The thing I hated worse than that is in game injuries.
Nothing like playing in your fantasy playoffs and then a
quarter one having your stud player go down and real
(01:30):
football to get somebody comes in. I don't understand, with
all the apps and software, how the world we can't
have something when you pick a bench player and get
some sort of pro rated points or something. I don't know.
At least in profits, they give it back to you
if they get hurt in the first half. Crappy trade offers,
and yes I'm calling out James Rapine on this one.
He's the king of crafty trade offers. I play in
so many leagues with James Repeene, but there's a lot
(01:53):
of James er Pea's in every league, bro, and don't
waste their time with like trading stupid players for good players.
Managers who don't pay makes a list, But that's not
you because you went to the AHM And here's a
noble concept. How about this pain on draft night and
getting it over it? And the worst of all is
three leagues because you know, I got about things, but
I don't need to play when there's nothing on the line.
(02:14):
Though I'm sorry, maybe I'm a degenerate, but yeah, free
league really make me killed.
Speaker 1 (02:20):
We we had, we have still a coworker who years
ago tried to put together a free league and I think,
I I think to this day he's still mad at
me because of how hard I laughed in his face.
But so, yeah, I don't have those. But but I am.
I am a chronic pay as soon as I'm done,
uh you know, as soon as I have no chance
of winning, as soon as I'm eliminated, I pay. So no,
I don't pay on draft. I do pay.
Speaker 2 (02:44):
You don't have to ask you to pay your fee
like at the Super Bowl. That's a good thing.
Speaker 1 (02:49):
That's why I will never be a fantasy football commissioner.
Let's talk about a pretty lengthy list of injuries.
Speaker 2 (02:55):
Yeah, Devin HM, excuse me. Devin Hm. He is the
biggest name on the list. He plays on Monday night.
They're really just getting that practice for the first time.
Good news on the X ray on his rigs issue.
This is a situation to monitor for want to fantasy
these top backs. The receivers are where most of the
injuries occur. Obviously he's been talking about t against Inn.
It's concussion. I don't know what's going to happen on Sunday,
(03:17):
but he is in concussion protocol still with bangles. Nothing
I must play for. I'm not sure why he would
rush out there. I would have a backup plan. Drake
London already ruled out this. We talked about a team
and nothing to play for. That's this time of year. No,
these injuries, his teams are eliminator out of it. Why
would these people come back so something to consider their
Seedee Lamb, he's in concussion protocol. Marvin Harrison Junior wasn't
(03:37):
that practice today with the heel issue. Michael Wilson's turned
into like Jerry Rice in his absence. So if you're
sitting on Michael Wilson, you're hoping Harrison Junior doesn't practice tomorrow.
Remadu's day. He'd week to week with his foot issue.
I thought Dja Moore was going to fire off in
his absence last week. No, he got negative points, So
I'm not sure what Berry's wide out I'm interested in here.
Garrett Wilson could come back from my art. I am
(03:59):
happy to that Mike Evans and Dalalen McMillan have been
activated and will play tonight. So Evans was dropped out there.
I'm sure he's already been scooped up in your league.
I'd feel a little bit reluctant putting him out here
against the Falcons at the unless you absolutely need it.
But you got him on the roster, could work out
come fantasy playoff times. And then that quarterback Daniel Jones.
I'm in Buzzkill City for the Colts fans, but I
(04:20):
did have to go out and pick up Philip Rivers
in my super flex league. I'm not going to start
him here against Seattle, but I lost Jones and Jaydeon
Daniels in the same week in a two quarterback league,
and it's playoff time. That Jayan Daniels re reading his
elbow doesn't look serious, But again, the Commander's on the
way to nowhere and even worse news for the Commanders,
potentially career ending ACL knee injury for zach Ertz, definitely
(04:43):
out of the season and on a team that really
has nothing to play for.
Speaker 1 (04:48):
Yeah, huge bummer. Dan Klaskins, host of Fantastics Insider Football
on Serious XEM Fantasy, Give me your week fifteen Studs,
duds and sleepers.
Speaker 2 (04:57):
All right, let's start with a couple of rookies, the
studs man and Jackson Dart. He actually tops my ranks
this week at the quarterback position. I'm expecting big things
here at versus Washington and dark went Healthy has proven
to have that rushing four Fantasy managers one so at
very at least the top five option. Well, he was
a sleeper on last week's segment here on the program,
(05:18):
but this week he's moving up. The stud Harold Pannon Jr.
Hopefully he got him into lineup after we got him advised.
Last week. He scored twenty five plus points in PPR leagues.
This week he's against Chicago. He's number four tight end
off my board. So outside of brock Byers, Trade mcbrider,
George kill this is my next guy on the list.
Which speaks pretty highly of him on the dud side.
(05:40):
Justin Herbert that hand just making me a little nervous.
He did get a lot of rushing last week, but
I'm not expecting a ton of points here at Kansas City.
He's outside my top fifteen and Brian Thomas Jr. Perhaps
one of the biggest busts of the season. This guy
was going on the swing of round one and round
two in August drafts. Now he's having a tough time
crack in my top forty. He hasn't had more than
we catches in a game since Week eight. If he's
(06:02):
battled their injuries, He's not a guy you want to
have in there with all the marbles on the line
this week and end the Sleepers. Woodie marks seventeen plus
touches and five straight games for the Texans. He got Arizona.
They're giving up the fourth most Fantasy points to the position.
So I like him this week, and I like Juwan
Jennings sneaking in as the back end wide receiver too.
He said double digit PPR points and four of his
last five. Now he's facing Tennessee seventeen wide receivers. They've
(06:25):
had double digit PPR points. They're giving up the seventh
most points of the position, So fire Jennings up. If
you got it.
Speaker 1 (06:33):
All right, you've been talking about this all year, the
Do Good Fantasy Salary Cap Challenge. There are four more
weeks left and you have lowered the minimum donation.
Speaker 2 (06:43):
Yeah, dude, a good call there. We dropped it down
to ten bucks. Veterans need help with Dad helps a
million veterans a year in life changing way through pre
rod grams and services all based off meditation. So if
you got an extra ten bucks in your pocket, you're
sorry your fantasy season, then go donate it to dav
A good fantasy. You get to play four weeks picking
a swercap line up. We got over three thousand dollars
(07:05):
in prizes, but we already have a nice litt uptick
here at the year end. So a good way to
have some fun and play with purpose, all right.
Speaker 1 (07:12):
Always awesome to have you. I know we're skipping next week.
We'll talk again on Tuesday, December twenty third, right before.
Speaker 2 (07:19):
Yeah, we'll be coming back for the Fantasy just in
time for the Fantasy Championship, and hopefully a lot of
our listeners here are still alive. I'm rooting for him
unless they're going against.
Speaker 1 (07:28):
Me, of course, of course, yep, all right. Make sure
you check out Do Good Fantasy dot com. Follow Dan
