(00:00):
Made that much happier because now isthe time of week you get the inside
scoop from Breitbart News, which Ialways start by recommending my listener's bookmark by
Breitbart b R E I T BA RT dot com. Great reporting and
of course reporting you're not going tofind the mainstream media. Thanks. In
part two, our guest this morning, the return of Emma Joe Morris,
political editor for breit Bart. Welcomeback, Ima Joe. It's a real
(00:21):
pleasure to have you on the program, as it always is. Hey,
thank you so much. I lovebeing on and I'm today we're gonna be
talking about the upcoming debate. It'sThursday. Everybody's already got their popcorn out.
Probably gonna be the most watched presidentialdebate of all time, at least
that's what keeps getting reported and theweird thing about it. And now I
just want to get your reaction onthis because it's been puzzling me. But
it's a real concern for the Americanpeople. Everyone's asking which Joe Biden is
(00:46):
going to show up the state ofthe Union, Joe Biden, where he
came across as at least having somecognitive ability or the Joe Biden we see
every other day. No, it'snot a cheap fake, it's just reality.
Joe Biden freezing up, wandering around, stumbling over himself. Can e
Marivia teleprompter sounding and for someone wholost his father to dementia like a guy
(01:06):
who's struggling with dementia. So isn'tit a strange phenomenon that the leader of
the free world? We have conversationsabout that as we move forward toward the
debate. Right, Well, you'renot allowed to talk about that, of
course, because then you're a conspiracytheorist and reporting based on disinformation, don't
you know you can't say that?But this, I actually don't think we'll
(01:30):
get the cheap fake version of JoeBiden because he's he's spending one week resting,
adjusting his sleep schedule, studying, and god knows, letting camp David.
He's completely no schedule for a fullweek in preparation for this. Well,
Trump is out campaigning. It's ratherinteresting that, well, I mean,
(01:52):
but this is this is Biden's mO. Would we expect it any
other way from the man who literallycampaigned and won presidency of the United States
of America by not leading his basement. I mean, I know it was
COVID. That's the whole that's thewhole strategy. Even now, I mean,
how do you distinguish between COVID timeduring the campaign and now, how
(02:13):
many interviews has this person given? How many speeches has he done? How
many times just after a press conferencewhen there's a gaggle of reporters around him,
have he just taken questions? Thisis a very very rare thing to
even see him and hear him speakoff prompter, and for that matter,
when he's on prompter, you cansee that it's so heavily scripted that he's
reading things like pie I breathe,Well do you think that's well, that's
(02:38):
the point. I mean, youand I a bunch of conspiracy theorists.
We're only seeing what our eyes see. And to creeing Jean Pierre, we
can't say deep fake. Then wecan't buy herd her words because if it
was somehow fake. In other words, this selective editing, kind of like
when you said Donald Trump was praisingclan members when he said there was some
good people there. We finally getsnoops to admit that no, that was
(03:00):
taken out of context that was theoriginal cheap fake. She's suggesting that these
selectively edited clips don't really show what'shappening at any given moment, and yet
does not turn to a video monitorand show the quote unquote whole thing to
give us the context that she's claimingis absent. It's real, and we
see it for ourselves, regardless ofwhat they're trying to tell us. Well,
(03:22):
that's it, and this is abrand new thing that she made up
to describe a completely normal and innocuouspractice of clipping tape. Yeah, it's
ridiculous. I mean every single Likeyou know, I put this out on
Twitter because CBS News kind of hadthis very serious segment where they talked about
this very sinister sounding cheap fakes, and I could not but laugh because literally
(03:47):
every single segment on CBS News hasclipped exactly to the second in the inqu
in the out que. Obviously,as all television shows are produced and all
media is produced, and all contentwhere you clip a long tape to convey
the point that you're making, justto the part where they're saying or doing
the thing that you're trying to talkabout, and now all of a sudden,
(04:10):
that's supposedly some sort of disinformation,I know, and we're talking about
Joe Biden here, the President ofthe United States of America. It's not
as if there's only one conserve mediaconservative media outlet with a camera rolling.
Go ahead and compare that video withall of the other cameras rolling from around
the globe. Multiple press outlets arethere doing their own video quite often,
(04:32):
and we all know that's that's that'sit. I was just gonna say that
that clip that she that originally likethat cheap fake that she was kind of
responding to with cheap fake, thatwas from Hollywood Reporter. And you know,
yeah, eighty or ninety percent ofthe quote unquote cheaf fakes that she's
talking about come from the White Houseexactly. Well, we all know it's
(04:56):
nonsense. They're trying to do whateverthey can to cover up for this obvious
cogniti apparently obvious to folks like us. Do you think Biden can handle that
challenge? Is he up to it? Is he going to come across without
notes? And that to me isthe biggest concession from the Biden camp in
terms of this. You know,CNN moderator, we in how bias they
are, but that he is willingto go into this debate ninety minutes worth
(05:17):
without any notes or assistance whatsoever.I couldn't believe that when I first read
it. Well, that's the thingactually, and if Alex Marlowe was on
this is the after he would give. And I completely agree with him on
this point that he makes constantly, which is that we have a tendency to
put Joe Biden on the lowest possiblebar. Yeah, and because we see
(05:42):
him obviously through all the cheap fakesof him wandering off and muttering things and
mumbling and getting lost in his trainof thought and all that, and so
we put him on this the standardthat we use to judge him is like
the expectation is so low, becausewe're like, if he makes it through
the thing like alive, like youknow what I mean, we weren't expecting
(06:03):
that. And but the thing ishe actually ends up using that to his
advantage because as much as Korean JohnPierre is out there spinning and twisting about
chief fakes, he is home restingfor a full week. You're not gonna
see him in public, and he'sgoing to be there and probably just getting
(06:24):
focused. We saw the same thingat the State of the Union, where
it's like everyone was like, whatis this muttering, crazy tirade gonna be?
And it ended up being something thatobviously, you know, wasn't going
down in history as one of thegreat orations in US history. But at
the same time, it wasn't adisaster. You know, there wasn't any
sort of catastrophic gaff or something. So except for when he obviously screwed up
(06:48):
Lake and Riley's name, but whatever. So this is the same thing where
I think it's like we set theexpectations so low because we're like, oh,
like he's he's gonna stumble out ofthe retirement home and kind of get
lost on the debate stage. Andif he gives a half decent performance and
all of a sudden he's blown awayour expectations, well, which I think
(07:10):
probably will happen. Well, Iguess honestly, and I'm struggling, and
I always challenge my listeners to callme up and give me an illustration of
something he can hang his hat on. By way of accomplishment, his administration
hasn't done anything except open the bordersand flood US with illegal immigrants, give
us five plus trillion dollars more inadditional debt. We're on tracked two trillion
dollars more in debt this calendar yearalone. There's nothing to run on.
(07:35):
There's no major accomplishment he can sayto the American people, here's why I
need to be re elected. So, with all that background and this cognitive
issue that you and I are talkingabout, as everyone is talking about,
Donald Trump is only slightly ahead ofhim in the polls. That's really revealing
about the level of hatred there isfor Donald Trump, is it not?
(07:58):
Oh, I totally agree. Butthe thing about the Biden Biden people and
the media and Biden himself is thatthey have this really it's this really Orwellian
thing that they do. You know. One of the things that they do,
obviously is keep the candidate slash presidentout of public view and he can't
speak, so you know, hehas all of his spokespeople and you know,
the media speaking for him. That'sone thing that they do. And
(08:22):
then the other thing that they dothat's totally Orwellian is that they convince you
or insist or or something that actuallyall the things that you're talking about aren't
happening, and actually, Bryant, the economy is doing great, and the
whole world is in a period ofinflation, and it isn't Joe Biden's fault
(08:43):
that your grocery has cost more, and actually they don't even cost more,
and everybody has a job, andshut up. That's that's kind of the
thing. So so they insist thatyour lying eyes are lying to you,
and then they pivot to attacking Trumpon something or the other or the alt
right or whatever hateful or something, you know, and it's always gotten man.
(09:07):
So that's that's probably what's gonna happenwhere you know, first thing is
going to be uh, you know, we're great, the economy is doing
great. Here are some figures thatsuggest that anything that you feel is made
up, which there have been manycolleges. By the way, I'm not
exaggerating, there have been many columns. I don't know if your listeners suffer
(09:28):
reading the elite media, but thereare so many columns constantly trickling out of
that. Actually, the recession thatpeople are feeling, or the economic stripe
that people are feeling, is allin their head. And this is just
a narrative. It's a narrative,Okay, the price groceries is just a
narrative. But anyway, so they'regoing to do that, and then they're
gonna pivot to he's a felon.Yeah, that's actually done nothing but help
(09:52):
don on travels in terms of fundraisingand popularity. His polls actually got like
depending on which bull you look at, slightly better since this, uh this
can this trumped up conviction, nopun intended. That's a pivot over to
Trump and how he is you anticipatehim performing. I can only pray that
his his handlers have sufficiently explained tohim that he should not be the loud,
(10:15):
boisterous uh, you know, interjecting. I know the MIC's going to
be turned off. Donald Trump, you know, put the Twitter feed down
kind of guy. Be logical,be reasonable, rational, You've got everything
in the world to run on.You've got your four years of presidency.
Your foreign uh affairs policy was great. We had some you know, growing
peace in the Middle East. Uh. We didn't have the Afghanistan situation,
which was a nightmare on and on. Economics were better, you know,
(10:39):
unemployment was lower. It's I mean, he's got a million positive things to
run on. There's no need forhim to get, you know, sort
of unleashed. What do you thinkis gonna happen on that one? Yeah,
I agree with you, And Ican't imagine that he doesn't have that
in mind when he knows that they'regonna be hamstringing him and cutting off his
mic. Obviously lead first and foremost. Donald Trump is a showman and a
(11:03):
producer and a creature of television. So he's got to know that the more
he starts to try to interject, the more they're gonna mute him and make
it look worse. It's actually kindof there. You know, there's two
sides to that coin about him, because I know what you mean when you're
kind of, you know, gettinguncomfortable watching him kind of bluster and speak
(11:28):
out of turn. But then onthe other hand, you know, some
of his greatest lines have been inthat off the cuff, shooting from the
hip, interrupting for instance, thewine that I'm sure everybody is picking of
right now as I say this wouldjust because you'd be in jail to Hillary
Clinton's. Yeah, So you know, there's style to it and and there's
(11:48):
tone to it that he has toget right and kind of yeah, like
like there's a certain flavor that hehas to get. But I know what
you mean. I'm sure he's anticipatingthis. I can't imagine he's going to
get out of control. If anything, this is the person who operates well
under pressure, better under pressure, best under pressure, in my opinion.
(12:09):
So I'm sure he's going to beon Unlike Joe Biden, he can be
very sharp for a long period oftime and listen very closely for a long
period of time. So I'm notworried about that, yeah, exactly.
And the kind of production of itfrom his end, you know, I
just I help, but wonder likehow like the Duneautics, and I'm worried
(12:31):
about Really, isn't Trump It's saidit's three on one. I mean,
you saw CNN last yesterday morning CaseyHunt being in my opinion, absolutely belligerent,
unhinged and then dumping out of theguests like that. It was just
Paul, it was. But you'venever seen that on TV ever, I
(12:52):
don't think ever over it was overcriticism of CNN. It was bizarre.
I have never seen that in mylife. And you know, on Fox
News you have some some anchors andhosts and contributors who, let's say,
like are more liberal or are moreestablishment, And you've had guests come on
(13:13):
and criticize other people who work atFox that have never in my life seen
somebody on Fox get dumped out forcriticizing other people on the network. I
think maybe pushed back, fine, but to cut them off completely and you
know, fosterous. It was anappropriate thing to do given the subject matter
of the conversation, to attack theobvious bias at CNN. And thankfully you
(13:37):
did answer exactly. That's the thing. This didn't come out like just randomly,
like it was totally part of theconversation, was totally in contact they
was totally valid. I mean,we're talking about a debate moderator who has
compared Trump to Hitler, who calledhis presidency at national nightmare. I think
that that is something that's worth mentioning. It is. And before we part
(14:00):
company again today, political letter toBreitbart Emma Joe Morris, I said earlier,
and I realized how absurd this isgoing to sound, and it sounded
when I first said it. CNN'sratings are tanking. Their bias is obvious.
You just gave a wonderful illustration ofthat and summary of what happened the
other day, as well as someof the commentators in the statements they've made.
Could they not use this as anopportunity to rehabilitate themselves by being neutral
(14:26):
and not so obviously biased during thisIs it even in the realm of possibility?
In your thoughts, Emma Joe Well, I think that that was kind
of the new management planet CNN.Obviously they fired people like Don Lemon and
Brian Stelter, the more inflammatory andoutrageous posts slash clowns that they had on
(14:48):
that network. But CNN is ina very precarious position because on the one
hand, obviously they have a hugeproblem in terms of the fact that their
talent is unhinged, as we sawwith Kasey Hunt yesterday. But the other
problem that they have is that they'rein this kind of rock and a hard
place position because the few viewers thatthey do have are also unhinged. So
(15:09):
if you see where they every timethey try to kind of pivot to being
like maybe sort of slightly, youknow, you could maybe interpret them as
not lying their audience, the littleaudience that they have slips out. So
I don't know where they go fromhere, because how how soon are they
(15:30):
going to peel off, you know, your viewers to start watching CNN again.
How many years would that take ofreally consistent, consistent, proper reporting,
which I don't think they're capable ofseeing as they have Kasey Hunt on
the staff, and then they're goingto lose like the six people and the
(15:50):
airports that they have with them asthey are now. It's very precarious.
Fair enough, I'm a Joe Morrispolitical order at Breitbart Bookmarket. You'd be
glad you did. I'll look forwardto the conversation with you in the aftermath
of Thursday's debate. Eman. Joewill be reading about what you're writ over
at bright Bart. Thank you,Thank you so much for having me on.
Have a wonderful
