Yeah, uh, that's reassuring forall those who are asking President Joe Biden
to go out and mix it upwith people and do a lot of talking
and conversing and town halls and convincethe American people that he is not the
(00:49):
doddering, bumbling idiot that we sawduring the debate. Anyhow, good luck
with that one. The goodest.Just do the goodest you can there,
Joe. Anyhow, Happy Monday too. You hope you had a wonderful weekend.

Anyhow, Christina Wilson with a bookeight oh five on that one. We'll
have that available Abovecarsey dot com.And since she couldn't make it this past
week because of a commitment talking aboutsome crime unfolding the city of Cincinnati,
(01:57):
Melissa Powers, Hamilton County Prosecutor, returns the program to day at eight thirty.
Excuse me, we'll we talk aboutlow bonds and releasing violent offenders.
So that is coming up at eightthirty. Hoho that you can stick around
for that. Remember fifty five carSee dot com. When you can't listen

you happen to be, and ofcourse listen to the podcast when you can't.
Of course, tim in the program. So what do we got going
on here this morning? Other thanthat? Five? One, three,
seven, four nine fifty five hundred, eight hundred eighty two three talk go
with pound five fifty on AT andT phones. Of course, you know
the number of Democrats calling for JoeBiden to step out of the race growing
(02:42):
dramatically. He's losing donors, bigmoney donors are now standing on the wayside
saying, no, no, Joe, it's not your night. You got
to pull out. Just get outof the race. And this week some
are suggesting, is it if youdoesn't, If God doesn't whisper into Joe
Biden's ear and tell him to out, there may be no more time to
(03:02):
get things situated for Kamala Harris orwhoever else they decide is the most likely
replacement for obviously the struggling Joe Biden. But you heard Bernie Sanders there at
the top of the hour, he'syou know, we need to talk policy.
We need to talk policy. Weneed to talk policy. Even specifically
mentioned expanding medicare as if that somehowis a good idea, certainly that's the
(03:27):
idea of buying votes. If you'reone of the would be recipients of an
expanded Medicare program, you might think, oh, that's great. Bully for
me, I can hook myself upto the bilical court of government. But
what of the reality of medicare likesocial security, It's one of the primary
drivers of our debt, and nobodyseems to be talking about the deficit.
(03:47):
But it is an existential threat ifthere ever exists one. It's that maybe
the southern border and US being overwhelmedby countless illegal immigrants from around the world
that may may may very well behere to do us no good. That
is an existential threat serve of toour nation's culture and history and the like.
(04:09):
But put it out on aside. The reality is we have a national
debt that is just out of control. This is all driven by spending,
Bernie Sanders, And you want totalk policy, Yeah, let's focus on
something that no politician really wants tofocus on, and that is our out
of control national debt. Congressional BudgetOffice, which is always described as nonpartisan,
(04:31):
hmmm, US sharing a report budgetdeficits projected to widen. That would
be expand from about one point ninetrillion this year to more than two trillion
every year beginning in twenty thirty beforenearing two point nine trillion in twenty thirty
(04:56):
four. Now I remember, CongressionalBudget Budget Office only projects out ten years.
Why I don't know, but thetenure projection is really, really grim,
and it just doesn't stop after that. In fact, the debt held
by the public UNI is going torise for more than twenty eight trillion dollars
(05:18):
this year to over fifty trillion dollarsin twenty thirty four fifty five zero trillion
when compared to the size of theUS economy in terms of gross domestic product,
debt held by the public projected torise from ninety nine percent this year
to one hundred and six percent intwenty twenty seven, not that far away.
(05:43):
Debt to gross domestic product projected toreach one hundred and twenty two percent,
and twenty thirty four on track tocontinue to rise to one hundred and
sixty six percent of GDP and twentyfifty four actually a date that's far beyond
the regular projection CBO, and evenhigher after that date. Are our elected
(06:12):
officials just looking at these numbers andthe future and just saying, well,
screw it, I'm gonna be deadanyway. I don't care. I know
I've talked to many seniors, andyou know, mom, if you're awake,
you've said it yourself. You lookat these figures and you're like,
I'm glad I'm going to be gonebefore it all hits the fan. God
(06:34):
bless my mom at eighty four. But what of the rest of the world,
what of the country or politicians don'tcare about a future that goes beyond
their lifespans. And you look athow old so many members of Congress are,
including the President, Mitch McConnell. We could go out Nancy Pelosi.
All the really powerful elected officials areoctagenarians. Basically, they got a foot
(07:00):
in the grave already, even ifthey aren't cognitively impaired, it's just a
biological reality. You're probably not gonnamake it out past ninety or so.
Statistically speaking, I don't think I'mon shaky grounds here, which means that
you can look at the Congressional budgetfigures and go probably dead. This is
not my problem. So what ofBernie Sanders talking about pole We need to
(07:25):
focus on policy. Expanding medicare Addressingthe federal government's broader fiscal rotos will also
require policy makers elected officials to considerreforms to the two major mandatory spending programs,
Social Security and oh there's that peskyword, Bernie Sanders Medicare. In
(07:46):
other words, not expanding medicare. If you want to fix the national debt
crisis we got going on, you'regonna have to pair it back. They're
funded by a combination of payroll taxesand reserve in the trust funds. And
I read that and laugh. Thetrust fund Do you really think there's a
lock box with money in it?No, that was collateral for borrowing Security.
(08:13):
Two main trust funds on track tobe tapped out in twenty thirty five,
when just eighty three percent of benefitswill be payable to beneficiaries. So
go ahead and look at your socialsSecurity Form I senior friends out there,
or are those getting ready to retire? And it says, look what you're
gonna get on a monthly basis ifyou retire at sixty two, if you
retired at sixty five, if youwait until seventy two, whatever, here's
(08:33):
the figure. Wrong. Keep readingthe entire document. It says that is
a projection based upon your earnings. It does not accurately reflect what you're actually
going to receive. Why well, because the trust funds. If you believe
in their existence, are on trackto be tapped out in twenty thirty five.
(08:54):
So you can just reduce that figuredown to eighty three percent of that
figure, but I would actually anticipateit being even less than that. Medicares
trust funds, the one that financeshospital care and treatment, projected to be
depleted in twenty thirty six, whenonly eighty nine percent of benefit to be
(09:15):
payable. So there's Bernie Sanders talkingpolicy, talking about expanding something that is
already under the current figures, underthe current eligibility, projected to be depleted
certainly within my lifetime, at leaststatistically speaking, not saying it won't get
hit by a bus or die ofcancer or something between now and then.
But I'm planning on still being alivein twenty thirty six. Now. Of
(09:43):
course, in the twenty twenty fourdebate, the one that Biden tanked in,
he and Trump said that they wouldleave Social Security untouched in their second
term. What of Medicare? Now, this is almost a laughable thing.
(10:05):
This is reported on Fox Business. But aside from the looming fiscal policy deadlines
next year and the next decade, another potential forcing mechanism as if the running
out of money in these various quoteunquote trust funds and the current spending trajectory,
which the CBO notes is gonna justkeep going up, up, up,
(10:28):
that's not enough for our elected officialsto get off their butts and do
something about it. Another potential forcingmechanism for a debate and political action on
these issues lies in a bipartisan proposalapproved earlier this year by the House Budget
Committee. Wait, get a loadof this, folks. The Fiscal Commission
(10:52):
Act a forcing mechanism to force themto talk about the existential threate threat rather
of our outrageous spending. We gotto do something about this. Oh you
know, the run again. Runningout of money in these programs that so
many people rely on is not enoughyou to do something about it. So
(11:15):
no, we're going to do theFiscal Commission ac What does that do?
It would establish a sixteen member panel, including members of Congress and a private
sector expert, who would develop recommendationsto stabilize the debt to GDP ratio at
or below one hundred percent within tenyears, improve the solvency of the trust
(11:37):
funds for at least seventy five years. In balance of budget at the earliest
reasonable date. Its recommendations would haveto be voted on by the House and
Senate before the end of the currentcongress. Is that not just a revelation
of incompetence and failure on the partof our elected officials that they can't do
the job that's laying in front ofthem, that they have to establish a
(11:58):
new sixteen number panel to talk aboutcoming up with recommendations to stop this outrageous
expenditure of money. They can't doit themselves, folks, They got to
defer it to a panel. Andthen, oh, as if politics will
be taken out of the equation becausethis bipartisan member established a panel is going
(12:20):
to offer recommendations that will then yes, have to be voted on in the
House and Senate and signed into lawby whoever's president at the time. There
won't be any politics in that becausethose recommendations most assuredly would call for cuts
pairing back reforms to Social Security andMedicare, and no politicians going to touch
that third rail. That's how wegot ourselves in this position. Wonderful.
(12:46):
So, yeah, Bernie Sanders, let's talk about policy. Let's talk about
the biggest elephant or donkey in theroom, which is the outrageous out of
control spending that so many people relyon. It needs to stop. We're
running out of time. We alreadyran out of money, as illustrated by
the massive, massive deficit we havea deficit we have incurred five eighteen fifty

happy Monday. What is going onin the world other than that, Oh,
(15:03):
let's pivot over to something going onlocally and probably nationally. I'm sorry,
I do not I mean, Iget drug addiction the conceptually speaking.
I understandbold addiction is about. I'velearned about it, read about it.
I know it's a difficult thing.I feel terribly for people struggling with addiction.
But I'm sorry, I just donot understand the different types of drugs
(15:30):
that are so much more powerful. We got a new one. You know,
Heroin wasn't you know, morphine wasn'tgood enough, so they created heroin.
Right, Heroin's not good enough,so you get fentanyl. Then you
get other synthetic drugs beyond fentanyl.A new one night A zines described as
(15:52):
the latest public health threat flagged byhealth officials. They're now flagging them in
Hamilton County. Hamilton County Public Healthalerting the community to this wrap what they
describe as a rapid increase in thein the supply of these dangerous synthetic opioids.
Because you know what you get usedto fentanyl, you're gonna need to
jacket up to the next level.Welcome to. Niazines range from being seventy
(16:15):
five to fifteen hundred times stronger thanmorphine. Fentyls about one hundred times stronger
than morphine. Also the primary causeof overdose death in the nation. Overdose
death, So your addiction has tobe so bad that you know when you
buy it that you could drop deadusing it. Xylazine wasn't enough. That
(16:42):
one is the flesh eater. Originallyintended to be an animal tranquilizer. Xylazine
extends the euphoria for drug users, but can also create skin damage so severe
that amputation is necessary. So thecosmic role of the dice on that one
as well. It may not killyou, but you may end up losing
(17:03):
some limbs over it. I justdon't understand it. Niazines, created in
the nineteen fifties to be painkillers, actually never received the approval for medical use
due to their large potential for addictionand overdose. They say. These analogs
of the niazine first detected and HamilonCounty's drug suppli as early as twenty twenty
(17:27):
one, but the number has goneup dramatically since then. Over the past
couple of years. Last year eightyseven drug seizers containing niazine, more than
nine times the prior number. Andof course you know we're on a trajectory
to find even more of this.Where is it coming from? My guess,
China, at least the precursors. It's in China's best interest. I
(17:47):
supposed to flood the United States withwell poison. Local stories coming up.

even other reasons. Like my friendSteve had called because he wanted them to

roof. It was a latent problem, but he was so pleased that they
were up there looking it out.Because they didn't just you know, come
(18:32):
and give him a quote for thesiding. They checked the entire roof.
So I recommend to my mom's gonnahave her gutters cleaned out. I said,
call Fast and Pro and have himdo that. They do that.
I said, a while they're there, don't inspect the roof. It doesn't
cost anything, Mom, just goahead and do it. Give you peace

They are truly honest. They pluswith a better business feer and that's

South Carolina man reportedly killed in anaccident involving fireworks on the fourth of
July. Dorchester County Sheriff's Office reportingforty one year old man from Somerville was
said to be showing off when heput a firework on his head. Men's
wife told deputies they were having ablock party and that her husband, Alan
(25:48):
McGrew, had been drinking for severalhours before the accident happened. About ten
thirty pm. She said she sawher husband put a firework on his head,
which she believed was done was beingdone to show off. Corners report,
you know what happened? State ofthe man ignited a large firework device,
(26:10):
then set it upon his head.It exploded, causing massive head injuries
and his death. What are youstupid? Incident report said that his wife
was telling him to stop when thefireworks suddenly went off, and those watching
him saw him collapse. Speaking withthe Post Courier, she said the July
(26:33):
fourth was her husband's favorite holiday, and he died doing what he loved.
Oh putting fire Yes, Joe puttingfireworks on his head. Eight deaths reported
from fireworks last year, according tothe US Consumer Product Safety Commission. That
report says ninety seven hundred people weretreated in emergency rooms for firework injuries last
(26:56):
year. Most common injury burns thehands and segue over to Florida. As
a tradition, indeed, where aJacksonville man is warning others while he recuperates
at a hospital following a fireworks accidentthat left him with horrible injuries to his
hand. Zion Thomas recounted his nightmareexperience from his hospital bed in Gainesville,
(27:21):
describing the moment to blast, sayingit came without any warning, urging others
to be very careful with fireworks.Quote. I almost lost my hand.
Basically, my front teeth are chipped, my wrist is broken, my other
hand, my palm is fractured. So it's pretty serious. Dan, it
came from fireworks close quote. Damageincluded that broken wrists other serious injuries.
(27:41):
He pointed out the firework involved mayhave expired. I don't know if that
has anything to do with it,and however, local authorities have not confirmed
it. Jacksonville Fire Department Captain Ericpross Swimmer took the opportunity to remind everyone
that fireworks required a great deal ofcaution because over the years there have been
instances of people become seriously injured oreven killed by fireworks, maybe even because
(28:03):
they put them on their heads.Continuing a theme, Jill, this is
like the fourth post fourth of Julyversion of a Friday with naked people in
it. Knoxville, Tennessee look atAmerican from Maryville, Tennessee died after suffering

a chest wound from yes and explodingfirework on the fourth of July. According
to the Blunt County Sheriff's Office, they responded to reports of an unconscious person
eleven pm on Thursday night at EvergreensFarm Lane. Sheriff's office stated when deputies
got there, they saw three peopleperforming CPR in the victim. The victim
identified as a guy named Matthew Sellers, not to be confused with Larry Sellers,

Who's failing history? Joe? Isthis your homework? Larry? There's
probably three people right now that getthat one, Oh big Lebowski. Good
recommendation for a movie. Court ofthe Poor. Deputies took over CPR duties

Sellers was shooting fireworks with some friendsby holding them in their hands. One

of them exploded into Seller's chest, causing them fought to the ground, bleeding
with a large gaping hole in hisupper body and a cut in his right

He learned from security that Holland wastaking photos up women's skirts, so they
(32:30):
tried to detain this guy. Accordingto the statement, as the officer placed
a handcuff on the defendant's left wrist. The defendant turned around and again striking
the officer's face and head repeatedly withclosed fists. Each time the defendant struck
the officer, the loose handcuff alsohit him, causing a laceration to the
(32:50):
top of the officer's scalp. Officerfell to the ground dropped his department issued
taser. The defendant picked the taserup and pointed it at the officer,
which placed him in fear of seriousbodily injury or death due to the potential
of the defendant incapacitating him with ataser and taking his firearm. And of
course, all of this is onsecurity cameras. As the officer gave chase,
(33:12):
Holland fled out of the parking lotescaped in a gray Dodge Ram.
They said they used license plate numberto determine it was registered to Holland,
charged with similar peeping tom crimes.Previously, Holland had pleaded guilty in twenty
seventeen to taking a photo video upthe skirts of two separate women in March.
In April of that year, he'dreportedly been out on parole on a

twenty year prison sentence for a twentyor two thousand and two guilty plea of
aggravated robbery. Now in twenty twentyfour in Trouble Again, cops showed up
to serve a warrant at his home, though it turned out that he wasn't
there. Holland ultimately turned himself in, being held on a one hundred and
fifty two thousand dollars bond. KayTexas man shot to death on the night

of June fifth during an attempted carjacking. Jarvis Houston had been out of the
Allegheny County jail for less than onehour when the incident took place, according
to the KTRI local news. Theyreported the man who owned the truck admitted
he shot Houston, but said hedid it to prevent the vehicle from being

vehicle theft with the victim's family inside. Twenty five year old Marco Leva indicated
that he had stopped at his businesslocated located in Lufkin about nine pm Wednesday.
When the vehicle was stopped, aman not known to Lava allegedly entered

Hamilton County prosecuted Melissa Powers. PleaseDear God, vote from Melissa Powers.
We'll talk about little bonds, releasingviolent offenders. And my friend Maureen
told me that there was a streettakeover last night at Rookwood comments frightening stuff,
(38:37):
those street takeovers. How do youdeal with that? So at the
intersection near Capitol Grill and I sawthat in you know, I heard comment
and I thought won and you Ican add that to the list, assuming
Prosecutor Powers is aware of that one. But related to nothing going on,
at least in terms of major thingsin the world. I just saw this
article. Near San Francisco Bay OaklandInternational Airport four point thirty in the morning
(39:02):
on Friday, a mob of lootersransacked an Oakland gas station convenience store.
There were between eighty and one hundredpeople. This store is open twenty four
to seven, but after certain hours, considering the dangerous realities of living there,
(39:23):
they only have windows service. It'sbeen that way for a long time.
Well, apparently the eighty to onehundred people were a little pardon my
French, pissed off that the storewasn't opened, so they smashed through the
front door and grabbed literally everything thatwasn't nailed down and smashed a bunch of
stuff as well. Twenty five thousanddollars in cash taken from the store's register
(39:45):
in atm. The looters apparently weren'table to pry this safe off the ground,
so the safe remained. Employees werethreatened the the mass pillaging. As
it was described by local news, there sit around forty minutes. A guy
called nine one one a bunch oftimes. You know how long it took
police to show up? Nine hours, according to the described as frustrated store
(40:14):
manager, nine hours. They wereall of these This mob of people were
attending what they referred to as acar side show. And from my reading
of the article, this car sideshow is basically like a street takeover,
which is why I segued into thisarticle. But think about it, what
(40:35):
do you do? The police aren'tthere. There's a mob of eighty to
one hundred people surrounding you. You'reobviously you feel threatened. I am certain
this man's life felt threatened. Areyou going to take out a firearm and
try to well disperse the crowd? Are you gonna just let them have their
way. Are you gonna hide thislawlessness? Is just unbelievable and completely out
(40:59):
of Going back to Burton Bernie Sanders'comments about we should be talking policy,
We should be talking policy. Yeah, how about the policy on crime in
this country? The left does notprosecute. The Left does not sentence people
to jail for long periods of timein order to hold up and prop up
that very important leg of the criminaljustice system, which is deterrent. If
(41:22):
these idiots knew that they would beprosecuted to the full extent of the law
and be held accountable for their actions, maybe they would think twice about doing
it. But this is San Franciscowe're talking about here, retail theft.
We don't bother prosecuting that at all. Anyway, big week for the Democrats.
They were returning with a bunch ofnew calls from prominent Democrats for Joe
(41:44):
Biden to get out of the race. Of course, during his Stephanopoulos interview,
he said he'd only do that ifGod told him to do it.
Well, the Almighty may very wellcontact Joe Biden, probably through intermediaries like
Nancy Pelosi, to tell him, dude, your time is up, if
over, and we are running outof time to get somebody else on the
ballot, someone who I don't know, maybe can put two words together,
(42:06):
maybe make a sentence without reading itoff the teleprompter. Someone who knows what
day it is. Private meeting ofsenior House Democrats yesterday said more and more
of them are believing that Biden shouldstep aside. Members have said they believe
he should exit from the race andclue Representatives Jerry Nadler and Joe Morell in
(42:28):
New York, Adam Smith of Washington, Jim Hins of Connecticut, Mark Tacano
of California, and a whole slewof them. I mentioned Mark to California.
He's a ranking member for the VeteranAffairs Commission to Committee. Adam Smith
Washington, ranking member of the ArmedServices Committee. He's on the Police get
out of the Race camp. JimHines, Connecticut, ranking member of the
(42:50):
Intelligence Committee. Joe Morella in NewYork. I mentioned him before ranking member
the House Administration Committee, Susan Wildeof Pennsylvania, ranking member of the Ethics
Committee, and then I mentioned JerryNadler, the ranking member of the Judiciary
Committee. All of them opposing Bidenas the nominee. According to one source
familiar with the meeting yesterday, itwas generally accepted that Vice President Kamala Harris
(43:14):
should be the party's nominee. Onesenior Democratic aide speaking with CNN quote,
it was pretty brutal close quote.Yeah, I suspect. So Congress returns
this week. A full meeting ofthe House Democrat Caucus expected tomorrow, and
(43:35):
Biden being the nominee or not expectedto be the main focus of the discussion.
Senate Democrats have been mum on whetheror not Biden should drop out,
basically staying in his corner, tellinghim to stay in. But give the
Senate Democrats some times, they too, some time, they too can change
their mind. Adam Schiff, don'tyou love pencil? Next shift that Biden
(44:00):
needs to speak with people he trustsoutside his immediate family, read Joe Biden,
and reach a decision of whether heshould run or pass the torch.
Biden, in his words Adam shiftswords, should seek out people with some
distance and objectivity. He should seekout polsters who are not his own polsters,
(44:21):
which is comical because that's one ofthe things Joe Biden was talking about
during his Stephanopolis interview. He said, I don't believe the polls. You
can look at literally any poll.Joe Biden is behind in all of them
and following further and further behind sincehis implosion during the debate with Donald Trump.
He's losing traction. I don't believethose polls. That's Biden's response to
(44:44):
it, and he'll trust the Almightyto get in touch with them to tell
him whether or not he should dropout of the race. Shift, Hey,
buddy, why don't you look atsome of your of some of the
other polsters. Finally, Shift sayshe should take a moment to make the
best informed judgment. Adam Schiff yesterday, meet the press. Senator Chris Murphy,
(45:09):
Democrat out of Connecticut. This can'tbe a business as usual week.
And Chris Murphy and suggested, andyou've heard, you've heard this before,
And what a preposterous suggestion. It'salmost like you're you're, you're, you're
daring Biden to get into a situationwhere he's going to well implode even more.
(45:31):
He said he needs to speak withvoters in an unscripted way to show
he is up to the job, which is what Biden tried to do over
the weekend with little success, includingtalking to a Philadelphia crowd thanking them for
(45:51):
helping him win his Senate race inDelaware. He's in Harrisburg Pencil yesterday thanking
the Philadelphians for getting him across theline while running for US Senate in again
Delaware, not Pennsylvania. Confidence inspiring. Biden had this to say, even
(46:15):
when I was running for Senate, each time I ran, quite frankly,
not a joke. Philadelphia in particulargot me across the line. It was
all those Philadelphia voters heading on intoDelaware to vote, I guess, in
violation of the voting laws. Andthat actually got applause from the audience,
and he said, no, I'mnot joking. No, I mean it
(46:36):
seriously, organizationally, in terms offundraising, the whole deal, all right.
He was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, but he was living in Delaware
by the time he was ten. That's where he ran the Senate race.
And the last time I checked, folks in Philadelphia have no control over the
voters in Delaware. But that's JoeBiden doing the goodest job he can.
(46:59):
Going back to his conversation with Stephanopolis. I just he also couldn't remember if
even watched his own debate. Hm, I don't think I did. Know.
(47:22):
When Stephanopolis asked him if he watchedhis debate performance, I don't think
I did well. That's confidence inspiringin it of itself, isn't it.
Stephanopolis also asked him how he wouldfeel in January Donald Trump won the election
and if his warnings about Trump anddemocracy came to pass. Biden's reply,
(47:44):
I'll feel as long as I gaveit my all and I did the goodest
job as I know I can do. That's what this is about. I
think the United States and the worldis at an inflection point when the things
that happen in the next several yearsare going to determine what the next six
seven decades are going to look like. Are going to be like close quote

unscripted though. We have a coupleof radio station folks admit that the White

(51:07):
One of them lost their job overit. WRD Philadelphia Base described as black

questions and did use them during hersit down with the President again his first

by w r D radio host AngelaLaufel Sanders without knowledge, consultation, or

collaboration with WRD management. The interviewfeature predetermined questions provided by the White House,
which violates our practice of remaining anindependent media outlet accountable to our listeners.
As a result, Miss Lawful Sendersand WRD Radio have mutually agreed to

(52:57):
second radio host, who also interviewedBiden in the days after the presidential debate,
admitted that he also received questions aheadof time from the White House.
Talking to ABC News, Wisconsin, radio station host Earl Ingram confirmed he was
given five questions to ask Biden duringthe recent chat wasn't able to get through
all of them before the radio interviewwas over. Hmmm. Now, folks
(53:21):
and observers of these antics and shenanigans, if you could label them that,
and I do listen to both interviewsand said the questions were essentially the same
in both both radio show appearances.Brandon is an opportunity for Biden to prove
to voters he is capable of answeringpointed questions and defending his record after his
debate performance raised serious questions about hismental competency. Conclusion by fucked news.
(53:46):
There you go. And see thething is this gets out now if this
was turned back the clock before thedisaster's debate, when the media is in
bed with Biden, are knowledgeable aboutall this, They know about a deteriorating
mental state, and yet they continueto carry the water for Biden cover up.
Now, look what happens. Wehave pre scheduled, pre programmed questions
(54:16):
provided to radio hosts who presumably wereyou know, Biden leading leaning folks going
to do a soft pedal interview.Do the questions that were provided by the
White House. No, not anopportunity for Biden to showcase his ability to
be flexible and answer questions on thefly. They probably sat down in advance
of the radio interviews and went overthe questions with them, recognizing that yes,
(54:37):
in fact, those are the questionsthat will be asked, and in
fact they were. I find itmost amazing in all this not that they
prepared the questions and handed them tothe radio host for the interview. That
is standard operating procedure, right, but the you and I have found out
about it, and this reporting happenedimmediately after the interview, and that even
(55:01):
one of the interviewers was canned becauseshe used the questions. And I got

and see his eyes wide open. And as I was checking for a pulse,
and he did have a helmet on. Thank God that he did have
the helmet on, because when Ilooked at the helmet, I saw the
(01:05:53):
skid mark on the top of thehelmet as it was ground in the helmet.
And I walked the scene to wherehe actually hit and you can see
the skid mark on the pavement fromthe helmet made by the helmet. Help,
Oh my god, and Brian, the skid mark was about probably ten
(01:06:19):
twelve feet long, Oh my god. And you don't have to have much
of an imagination to appreciate what thatwould have looked like had it been a
helmetless accident, and that would havebeen his skull rubbing across ten plus feet
of pavement. He he was Heobviously did not hit the car going this
(01:06:44):
fast, but he was clocked atone hundred and sixteen miles an hour.
Oh, by state trooper. Ihad just pulled onto the to the to
the road we were going on abouta half a mile and the state trooper
had just pulled off the road toyou know, start his radar. And
(01:07:05):
luckily when we when when we sawthe accident, we got out, everybody
started dialing nine to one one andit did not connect for some reason,
and I was able to tell acar that was going in the opposite direction,
Hey, there's a state trooper rightdown the road, go get them.
(01:07:26):
Luckily that you know, right thereat our roads there is a headquarters
right there for the state troopers, and we have a lot of help.
Thank goodness, it was right thereat the hospital and they were able to
transport him to the hospital and thenairlift them. But I just want to
say that, you know, forfor all the motorcyclists out there that cut
(01:07:48):
through lanes and go down medians andand things like that, think about it
and close your eye and look atyour loved one face as you close your
eyes, and then imagine checking theirpulse. Oh. Well, you have
(01:08:11):
described in graphic detail, and Itruly appreciate the reality of our conversation because
you've hit it home for so manypeople who just disregard the idea of helmets
and helmets being safe. And Ihave people, oh, they're just brain
buckets, something to put your brainsin after they haul your dead body.
Way, No, that person clearlyis still alive as a consequence of wearing
the helmet. I hope and prayfor them and the family. And you
(01:08:34):
know, you also illustrate a greatpoint. Don't be a squid on your
motorcycle. Don't go riding at onehundred and fifteen miles per hour anywhere,
and don't ride your you know,on a single wheel down Ice seventy five.
I've seen that a guy flew byme on one doing a wheelie going
on ninety plus miles per hour onseventy one South. That's just dumb,
(01:08:56):
Brian. His helmet was about probablythirty yards away from him. Oh and
the fight, the fight was probablya good I'd say, forty yards away
from him when it finally stopped onthe other side of the highway in the
middle of the road. Uh andand and that was past us. We
(01:09:19):
had already stopped. But yeah,I just wanted to call and back up
what you were saying on that becauseI know you support motorcyclists. And yeah,
like I said, my father wasa motorcyclist, professional motocross rider,
and he always wore a helmet hedied on a motorcycle, had head injury,
(01:09:45):
he hit a telephone pole, buthe he was was suffering with migraines
all day long, so it wasmore more more than likely he had a
brain aneurysm or something because he wouldhave not stayed on that bike it hit
that telephone part. Well, Iknow what, I what it's worth.
(01:10:10):
Put a helmet on, and they'renot brain buckets, guys. They will
save your life. Well you haveand it obviously did on Saturday. The
gentleman is still alive. So amen, I cannot thank you enough for,
you know, putting some flesh onthe bones of my often stated comment.
Listen, I don't want a lawmandating you wear a helmet, but common
(01:10:30):
sense, logic, and reason dictatesyou wear a helmet because it literally will
can save your life. Thank youfor describing that. I'll be having that
in the back of my mind nexttime I get on my motorcycle and go
for a ride wearing my helmet.Six point thirty six forty seven. Thank

a stick of butter going off acrossa hot pan. It's just, you
know, wear a helmet and asquid. For those not out there,
(01:12:41):
those would be the idiots that flyby you on motorcycles doing really extraordinarily stupid
things. I always talk about thecagers, which motorcyclists refer to as automobiles.
You know, please, dear God, keep your eyes peeled. There
may be a motorcyclist. They're notas easy to see. Check your side
view mirrors, you know, lookin your rear view mirror before you change

distracted texting or talking on their phones, or maybe even just you know,
eating a sandwich or changing the radio, share the road. But you know,
greater criticism can be levied at motorcyclists, you know, squid, stupidly
quick, underdressed, and eminently dead. Some people use that acronym to define
(01:13:23):
a word that's been around in themotorcycle world for a long long time.
You know who you are, Iguess is the point. Yeah, you're

you have an obligation not just tolook out for your own best interest,
but for your families. Right, like he pointed out, throw your leg

Maybe I shouldn't go one hundred andfifteen miles per hour, just saying,

(01:16:01):
try to make it happy and crazyweek for the Democrats in Washington,
d C. Headlines are absolutely justall over the place in terms of how
various Democrats are dealing with the realityof Joe Biden's cognitive deterioration. Anyway,
coming up the bottom of this hour, Christopher's smith Them and vice mayor,
former vice mayor of the City ofSincinnate for the Monday morning Smither event.
And as always, don't know whatChristopher's going to be talking about, but
(01:16:23):
I'm very much looking forward to havehim on the show. Appreciate his insights
and thoughts. We're gonna hear onehour from now from Christina Wilson. She
has a book out called Believe,a memoir in Stories. It'ld be interesting
discussion with Christina Wilson, followed byand it's in lieu of money, mondays,
Brian James's off today and when Cannyprossecuting Melissa Powers back on should be
(01:16:45):
on the program at eight thirty. It's talking about low bonds, releasing violent
offenders. And again I keep goingback to who is undermining the justice system.
Justice system has pillars. You know, it's designed too that you face
consequences as a result of your criminalactivities. You take away the consequences you
end up having, you know, street takeovers and massive riots and people stealing
(01:17:05):
and businesses going under. And takea look at your left wing liberal cities
who've implemented those policies and say, gee, thank god, this has not
happened in Hamilton County, at leastto the degree that we've seen it happen
in cities like San Francisco and LosAngeles and Chicago, where they have kicked
(01:17:27):
the whole concept of the criminal justicesystem to the curb taking away the most
prominent element, which is the deterrenceeffect that punishing people has on crime.
Now, why did you mind yourparents growing up? Assuming you had parents
that cared about you. I mindedmy parents because the consequences were going to
be pretty damn dire for me.You know, the whole idea of punishment.
(01:17:49):
If you do the following, youwill be punished in the following ways.
Mom and de were pretty good about, you know, laying out what
the consequences would be for any ofmy actions. Yeah, I got in
trouble properly, so every once ina while you had to wait till Dad
got home to get the discipline thatyou were promised. But it was certainly
(01:18:12):
made good on by my parents. So if there is no discipline, if
there are no consequences for criminal activity, then you're going to have more criminal
activity. List of Powers knows that. So let's not let bad things happen
to Hamilton County. Let's keep MelissaPowers as prosecutor please, And we will
be talking a lot between now andNovember about the down ballot votes, including
judges. Gop judges dot com ifyou want conservative judges who are willing to
(01:18:35):
meet out the appropriate discipline and punishmentwhen it's necessary. So anyhow, in
terms of headlines, so I couldjust think through everything I talked about this
morning opening up the show. ProminentHouse Democrats want Biden to exit twenty twenty
four race today and tomorrow, apparentlythe big days when they get back to
(01:18:57):
Washington. A lot of her ownthing over what to do with Joe Biden,
and the frightening thing in all thisis the more I read and the
more I observe the talking points fromthe various people who are going to have
some say on this. You know, Nancy Pelosi's the Bernie Sanders of the
world, Joe Biden, Joe Bidenhimself who's waiting for the Almighty to get
in touch with him, to lethim know it's not his night anymore,
(01:19:18):
and to pull out of the race. Don't know if he's going to have
that conversation with God anytime, butthe Democrats on Capitol Hill want that conversation
to take place this week. They'rehemorrhaging donors. I think it was at
six out of ten Democrat donors. The big money Democrats, like the members
of the Disney family are pulling theplug on financing until Joe Biden leaves.
(01:19:40):
That's a red flag waving, isn'tit. More and more prominent Democrats have
stood up and specifically asked Joe Bidento step down and get out of the
race, and I suppose logistically they'vegot a real problem on their hands.
I don't feel sorry for the Democrats. They have no one to blame but
themselves for hiding Joe Biden for solong and keeping him from the American people.
(01:20:00):
And also, if you are adonor to the Democrats, aren't you
upset? I mean, I wouldimagine one of these big money donors probably
had access to the president at oneor more of these various cocktail parties that
you and I are not invited toor not inclined to go to even if
we were, because we're not goingto be writing a big multimillion dollar check
(01:20:24):
to a political action committee for thisguy. They probably knew. But now
that we all have confirmed what wehad been suspecting for so long, the
American people aren't that dumb. They'reall pulling their hair out and pulling the
funding. Here's a nice headline fromthe Gateway pulling it very very conservative bias
(01:20:46):
report s word is going to hitthe fan when Congress returns Monday, all
eyes on Nancy Pelosi as Dems wantBiden gone by the end of the week.
Again, the logistical reality, whois it going to be, whether
it's Kamala Harris or one of theother backbenchers. How are they going to
get their ducks in a row andget someone nominated in advance of the Democratic
(01:21:13):
Convention? And I emphasize in advanceof because that's the workaround that they were
going to do here in Ohio.We got a deadline here in Ohio.
Right, it's August nineteenth, theconvention, but you have to be on
the ballot and certified by August seventh. And to get around that with Joe
(01:21:38):
Biden as being the nominee since he'swon all the primaries, that's the other
thing. You know, all thepeople who voted for Joe Biden in the
primary, don't you feel as thoughyou've been lied to? I know,
evil Orange Man, And that maybe enough for you to want to vote
for the guy who's apparently brain deador at least working his way quickly toward
brain death. But you know, the guys obviously got a problem on his
(01:22:00):
hands. He has been demonstrably weakfor years now. But now we get
the nail in the coffin, whichis the presidential debate where he just looked
completely out of it. So,if you've already voted in a primary,
you voted for Biden because you know, you thought he was the guy to
go with, and they told youthat he's fine, everything's going to be
great. Evil Orange Man is youralternative. Now, I would imagine you've
got to feel a little bit insulted, especially if you're a low You know,
(01:22:23):
you're not a weed dwelling individual likemost of my morning show listeners where
you read about this all the time. You're aware and you have been aware
of the cognitive decline of Joe Biden, because of course the website you're looking
at will actually report on something likethat. You can see it with your
own eyes and hear it with yourown ears. No, those aren't cheap
fakes. That only works for solong until yeah, you got to roll
(01:22:46):
your guy out in an unscripted debatewith no teleprompter and no notes, and
that's when you get that ten thousandfoot stare or a thousand yard stare or
whatever that goes mostly image of JoeBiden and what in the hell was he
staring at while Donald Trump was talking? Huh, you don't know, And
when words did come out of hismouth, you're like, wow, Wow,
(01:23:09):
Okay, that wasn't that long ago, And a few moments in time
prior to that, everybody in themedia was talking about how great Joe Biden
is. Behind the scenes, thatdebate revealed to all of us, or
confirmed for most of us anyway,But it did reveal the unbelievable bias of
(01:23:34):
the mainstream media who continued, inspite of that horrific performance, many of
them to try to carry his waterand talking about him still being sharp.
I mean, side splittingly funny ifit weren't so pathetic. Headlines to that
effect. But how they're going tobecome a logistical challenge? Okay, if
(01:23:55):
it's Kamala Harris, who's going tobe her running mate? I even read
Barack Obama. Don't know how youcan manage that. Don't think Barack Obama
would have won to play second fiddleto Kamala Harris, although we'll be getting
back in the Oval office where manythink he is in control right now.
Anyway, your thoughts are are quitewelcome on that. Do you have any
(01:24:17):
theories for how they're going to managethe various cutof dates and Ohio isn't the
only one with the cut off.I really don't know how they're going to
work through all of this. Maybethey're stuck with Joe. That seems to

Jay, Thanks for phoning in thismorning, and happy Monday to you,
sir, and happy Monday, BrianHey. I wanted to make a point
that the Democrat parties continue to evolveinto a just a one idea party,
(01:26:15):
which is zero consequences if you don'tpay your student loans, no problem.
If you want to commit crime,no problem. If you want to have
sex without consequences up to including murder, no problem. Everybody that's affiliated in
supporting that party is pulling the countrydown because when you have no consequences,
(01:26:36):
that means you have no standards. And what the Democrats are upset about the
donors, and I want everybody tohear when Brian said the Disney family is
upset because of this. Don't takeyour kids to Disney. King's Island does
a much better option. I lovethat. But what they're upset about is
(01:26:56):
that they are continuing to play thisgame, this this this sod that.
What we have are two parties thatare debating policy and direction of the country.
Because once the country finds out thatthe Democrat Party offers the only thing
they're offering is zero consequences for decisionsin your life is then I think all
(01:27:19):
hell would break loose. Our sidecontinues to talk about I'm confused who and
the hell would back Joe Biden. They're not backing Biden. They're supporting the
Party of Zero consequences. And Iwill have legalize theft where I will take
the wealth of one American give itto another and because we have to wake
up, because it doesn't matter ifKamala Harris goes in there. The people
(01:27:42):
that vote for zero consequence party willcontinue to vote for zero consequence party.
The people that will fund it,like the Disney family, will continue to
fund it. And we've got towake up and say we are not debating
the Democrat Party of old, wherewe're talking about which direction to the country
going. This is just all afalse front. Well, you are right
voting for the Democrat machine which hasall these policies in place which are zero
(01:28:05):
consequence. I see, you knowit's earlier in the program. I at
the top of the UR News beforeI the mic opened up. In the
first segment, Bernie Standers was screamingabout talking about policy. We should be
talking about policy. We're not talkingabout policy. We're talking about you know,
is Joe Biden sane enough or doeshe have enough cognitive ability to manage
the next five minutes, let alonethe next four years? Evil orange man
(01:28:26):
Donald Trump? You know, andnobody talks about policy. Donald didn't bring
up the debt, the deficit.Bernie Sanders isn't talking about the deficit.
He's talking about what expanding medicare. That's that's his idea and exactly, and
our budget deficits are protected to widena lot. They're going to two trillion
dollars annual according to the non partisanCongressional Budget Office, two trillion every year
(01:28:50):
beginning twenty thirty, nearing two pointnine trillion in twenty thirty four, and
more than fifty trillion. I mean, the debt held by the public will
rise to fifty trillion by twenty thirtyfour. They say, yeah, yeah,
And I thought Judge and Poulaitano nailedit when he was being critical of
(01:29:11):
Trump during the debate of no discussionof natural rights, God given rights and
how do we get back to aconstitution meaning something. So the Republicans have
their problem as well, because theyare they also are kind of getting on
this bandwagon. If you want towin elections, there's got to be zero
consequences. And nobody's talking about fixingMedicaid, Medicare, social Security list though
(01:29:32):
those are the top three things onthe budget. And if you don't fix
those, and you're dabbling around withnumber fifteen, twenty five, and one
hundred and seventy five on the budget, this thing continues the spiral. So
Republicans aren't squeaky claimed by any stretchon this, but I think we need
to understand that they are taught theyare only selling one thing, and that
(01:29:54):
too, well two things, legalizedtheft from your fellow Americans to people that
are willing to take it. Soyou know, when people say I'm a
Biden supporter, first question which programsare you on? Which program you're not
voting for the guy you're voting for, the check that's going to show up
in your mailbox. It's going tocontinue to live a life of zero consequences,
(01:30:15):
you hope anyway? Or is itor is it the or is it
or is it killing of the babies? Because I want sex without consequence.
Don't call it pro pro choice,it's it's sex without consequences. And I
think that we are going to underestimate, if we're not careful, how many
people in this country. I thinkwe're getting close to fifty percent of the
people in this country are voting forthe zero consequence. Let me live my
(01:30:39):
life and somebody else pay the bill. Party well, and I would argue,
as Donald Trump illustrated in the debate, that the abortion issue is pretty
much over. Republicans have lost thatissue in terms of popular support. Everybody
like fifty eight percent I think nationallywants some form of access to abortion at
some point. Now the number ofpeople who want it late term is about
(01:31:01):
zero, and that would include JoeBiden in that zero camp, close to
zero camp, but they Donald Trumppointed out he believes in exceptions for rape
incests. In the Life of theMother, Jad vanshis came out the other
day that he's okay with mc pristone, the abortion drug. I believe that
was his quote. But that isa wreck, you know, obviously an
(01:31:23):
acknowledgment on behalf of the Republicans, the major Republicans that you know, you
got to have something in there oryou're going to turn off the voters.
Abortion is one of the few thingsthat is driving Democrats to even care about
getting them off the couch and goingto vote in November. The wind's been
taken out of the sales. Roseover ruled. The states are now deciding,
and most of the states are offeringsomething by way of access to abortion.
(01:31:45):
I don't think that's an issue anymore. And again I go to the
national stage on a federal level election, stick a fork in it. It's
done. It's a state's issue,and I think Trump did a very effective
job of pointing that out during thedebate. But as for everything else,
I couldn't agree with you more. It's a handout. Stick your hand in
the pocket of your neighbor who's workinghard and paying taxes and taking from him
(01:32:06):
or her kind of world out there, the winners in politics seem to be
the one who are willing to giveout the most stuff, which is I
think why Bernie Sanders is talking aboutexpanding Medicare. Yeah, if you're on

and I have a lot to sayabout what I've been listening to and reading.
I don't know if I'll have adifferent perspective, but I'm going to
take a stab at it. Iwant to start with what's most important,
(01:35:25):
the people in this country who lovethis country, who want elected officials that
focus on their problems and solve them. I just focus on them, but
solve them. And Americans right nowhave been experiencing some of the greatest inflation
(01:35:45):
in their lifetime, and they don'tknow what to do. They're having trouble
paying for their food, Like overIndependence Day weekend, They're struggling to put
hot dogs and put together ham burgersand grill out and support their families because
things are so expensive. They're worried. Americans are worried about their housing.
(01:36:12):
Housing is up forty percent for alot of Americans fifty percent. You know,
they were some some people in ourareas that were paying one thousand dollars
are now paying fifteen hundred and twothousand dollars a month in rent. Our
elderly are out here on fixed income, and they're trying to buy food,
(01:36:36):
pay for their medication, pay theirco pays for their insurance through Social Security,
and bottom line is things aren't addingup. And so while this country
spent the last two weeks talking aboutwhether President Biden is cognitively ready or can
(01:37:00):
lead this country, the people aresuffering. Here's what's really happening. This
has been the greatest cover up bythe media, cover up, cover up,
cover up in the history of mylifetime. You Brian Thomas and so
many other political figures, commentary commentaries, people who are are supposed to be
(01:37:26):
journalists, you know, some ofthem have been saying, hey, there's
something wrong with the president over thelast three and a half years. And
so now people are turning on CNNand MSNBC and they're going, what are
you talking about? I never sawthe president trip or fall or what video
are you talking about at the Gseven when he kind of just wandered off,
(01:37:47):
Because just a month and a halfago, they were calling you,
Brian Thomas, a liar for evenbringing up the video, that somebody had
altered the video in some kind ofway. And it wasn't until on CNN
for everybody to see, for theentire world to see that the president of
the United States of America, thegreatest country we just came through Independence weekend,
(01:38:13):
is not cognitively leading this country.I mean that that statement that means
somebody else is running the United Statesof America if he's only working from eight
in the morning or nine in themorning until four o'clock because of sundown.
We have a very serious issue thatwe need to deal with. Can this
president not just can he be thepresident four years from now, Brian Thomas,
(01:38:39):
The question is can he even finishhis term? And the Democratic Party
is in complete disarray. They don'tknow what to do because they've been involved
in the greatest cover up of alltimes. They've known that this president has
been sick for such a long time, and they have not been telling us
the truth. And independent voters likemyself out there that say we make the
(01:39:01):
decision on the difference, not theparty pundits, not the Democrats, not
the Republicans, but the independents. And if they think independents are going to
vote for a candidate that is undercognitive decrime, are somebody who's walking around
acting like they don't know where theyare shaking hands with invisible people, don't
(01:39:23):
know what stage to walk off, can't walk up a flight of steps.
They are very, very wrong,Brian Thomas. We are smart voters,
and the bottom line is they can'tpresent a candidate that is sound that we
can believe four years from now willstill be able to serve as the president
of the United States. They're verywrong about that, and that is what
(01:39:44):
I am frustrated about this morning.Understand your frustration, and this all is
a discussion that is so important buthas nothing to do with the key issues
that are going to you know thatwe have to deal with as American people.
We're talking about Bobiden and his cognitiveabilities, their ability to find somebody
else to step into his shoes, and yet they're on the wrong side of
(01:40:06):
literally every issue that matters to Americans. Most notably the cost groceries, if
not the border, as well asa well foreign policy. Let's pause,
we'll bring Christopher back in. Iknow he's not done yet. Just tip
of the iceberg on that. Letme mention USA insulation. Let's say he
just got a new house. It'san old house though you know, you
bought somebody else's house. Of course, does it have sufficient insulation? And
(01:40:27):
it called USA for a free insulationcheck to be happy to inspect your home.
You may need additional insulation, likemy daughter and her boyfriend Eric in
their house R twelve. It wasa late seventies build and that R twelve
has been in there for so longit deteriorates, so it's not even providing
our twelve. That is not enough. You put the premium foam in with
the old insulation. If you gota home before mid seventies, there's nothing
(01:40:49):
in that exterior wall space. Butair fill it with the highest star value
foam on the market. You willsave money every month. They'll do the
attic for free. They're throwing thatin. The Government's going to give you
a twelve hundred dollars energy credit nextyear when you're doing your taxes that's another
dangling carrot. Plus you know, ninety nine bucks a month interest free,
you may save more than that inyour energy bill. Guaranteed comfort immediately and
(01:41:12):
savings guaranteed every month. The ultimateno bringer USA Insulation dot nets where you
find them online. Call him foragain a free inspection and free quote five

(01:41:34):
Station Ryan Thomas here with former ViceMayor of the city. Since Saint Christopher
Smithman ton of like you is,as he always does, Christopher, let
the ramp continue, my friend,Brian Thomas. President Biden is not going
to step down as the president uhand he's not going to step down to
(01:41:55):
allow someone else to run for presidentof the United States. And one from
now, when the DNC has theirconvention in Chicago, he will be their
nominee. So they will circle thewagons because the president and most states right
now, it's incredibly difficult to removehis name and put somebody else in.
(01:42:16):
I don't even know how they doit, but the reality of it is
President Biden has sent the message thathe's not stepping aside. His wife has
sent the message. This is justthe first lady that she is not going
to step aside, and she supportsher husband running for president of the United
States of America. Whether we likeit or not, whether the Democratic Party
(01:42:36):
likes it or not, this istheir bid and they're going to have to
sleep in it. And there willbe a September debate between former President Trump
and President Biden, and it willbe watched by the world. Again,
he will have an opportunity. Sothis discussion that people are having and people
are you know, they say outin Vegas, there's a sixty percent chance
(01:42:56):
he's going. I'm on the otherside of that. I just can't see
President Biden giving up the power. There are too many family members, children
who are out there who are benefitingfrom him being the president, and they
don't want to walk away. Iwant to share with you that as as
you and I are talking, theirkids at home and in their cupboards there
isn't even a can of food. There is not even a peanut butter in
(01:43:21):
their house. There's not even breadthat they are there. We have kids
across this country who are starving andand the reason I say that is I
find so often, Brian Thomas, that elected officials get so disconnected from the
people that they say they represent. That's why so often we say we want
(01:43:42):
term limits because you've got the you'vegot the congressional members and the senators,
and the president, and the andthe judicial of candidates and those who are
serving in our courts who are livingin ivory towers, meaning they don't know
what it's like to suffer. Theyhave they have bodies guards, they have
limousines, they're flying around in helicopters, in private jets. So this reality
(01:44:08):
of what the everyday person is goingthrough in the urban corps, shot fired,
seven people murdered, mass shootings. They have no idea when they're talking
about let's defund the police, what'shappening in the everyday lives of Americans because
they're living in an ivory tower. That's why we can spend the last two
(01:44:30):
weeks talking about what is the cognitivestatus of the current president of the United
States, and not talk about theborder, not talk about inflation, right,
not talk about independence so that wecan get our gas prices down because
people are driving around trying to figureout how they can put ten dollars.
You know what I mean times,Brian Thomas. I've driven up to a
(01:44:51):
pump and I've seen six dollars.I've seen seven dollars. I've seen ten
dollars because people can't afford to fillup their car. Yeah, I'm sharing
with you. What is really happeningis we have a complete disconnect between those
who we are voting for and thepeople that that they serve well. And
you know, going back to policies, and I talked about this last week,
(01:45:13):
Biden just released a million barrels orsome gallons or whatever of oil from
the Gasoline Strategic Oil or gas reservethey have up in New England. UH,
in order to take the edge offof gas prices. Why are gas
prices high? Well, it's inpart by the Biden administration's Green A Genda
policies. They won't allow us todrill, they won't allow us to refine.
Of course, that's going to takesupply out of the market. When
(01:45:35):
we've got it available, you justgot to pull it out of the damn
ground and refine it. No,no, no, that's what they want.
When they get what they want highgasoline prices. Regular folks that you're
talking about. React and they're like, geez, I can only afford to
put five bucks in my tank, and that's only going to buy me a
gallon and a half. That's notright. And then they try to unring
(01:45:58):
the bell with a with a witha quick you know, real lease of
of oil, which undermines what theywanted in the first place, which is
higher gas prices. So we quitdriving so much. It's insanity. Christopher,
go back and see Brian Thomas, what the previous administration was buying oil
for off the market and filling upthe reserves that we are now sending out
(01:46:20):
that we will have to replace atmuch higher prices. Yeah, you know,
you know, you know what I'msaying. So just think about that
public. What I just said, the previous administration was adding oil to our
reserves at a much lower price, right, and being strategic about that,
(01:46:41):
meaning not buying oil from our enemiesthat were using it to try to blow
up the world. And so thisnotion of when you when you when you
send out this the oil reserves, you're going to have to replenish them,
and you'll be replenishing them at muchhigher prices. You know, I'm a
financial planner, and one of thethings we basically do in the market is
(01:47:01):
a goal is to do what buylow and sell outs. Yeah, not
the opposite of that. And sowhen i'm we eventually will pay the price
because as he as they released thereserves and they think you and I are
dumb that we don't understand that there'san election and they're trying to suppress prices
so that they're trying to keep inflationin that area under control, so that
(01:47:23):
people go, oh man, everythingis going great in our country. And
as soon as we get on theother side of the election, that process
will stop. And diesel, whichI drive a diesel, diesels will diesel.
A few will go back towards sixdollars a gallon, Brian Thomas,
and you can count on that. And another fun fact that you mentioned crime
and crime getting out of control aroundhere where guess Melissa Power is gonna be
(01:47:45):
on the program at eight thirty andoh you're a big fan of but keeping
her in the Hamilton County Prosecutor's officebecause she's tough on crime. I was
just looking at this report. Eightyseven people were shot from fourth of July
through this through yesterday in Chicago eightyseven Wow, comeing Wow. Wednesday through
(01:48:05):
Friday, fifty eight people were shotbetween Wednesday and Friday night alone. It's
just it's crazy. I mean,I guess sixteen of them died. And
you know what's so crazy is we'vegot babies in there. Yeah, seven
eight nine year olds being shot isnot just adult no, I mean,
(01:48:25):
we are in a crisis in oururban core and those who and if you
look at that, you say, this is just a fact. Don't don't
beat me up. A lot ofthose areas are run by Democrats that you're
talking about. So whether it's laor Chicago, or whether it's Detroit,
you know, whether it's the cityof Cincinnati. Who are you blaming?
(01:48:46):
Like, who do you think isresponsible for this whole movement of defunding the
police department? And I think that'swhat's happening right now. People are sick
and tired of these politicians being disconnectfrom their reality and we're talking about things
that don't matter to them. CNNand MSNBC are waking up with this story
(01:49:09):
that there's something going on with thePresident of the United States with his cognitive
ability. I'm sharing with you itwas the greatest cover up. And I
have no idea, no idea whyPresident Biden is saying he will not undergo
some type of cognitive tests. Theytalk about democracy and what the people need
to know and what we deserve toknow. We deserve to know whether there
(01:49:31):
is a health issue with the currentpresident of the United States. It doesn't
matter what their party affiliation is.This man is walking around with launch codes.
We have huge issues with possibilities ofwar. It might be on the
brink of World War three right infront of us. Our world leaders are
watching us. It's not a game. So this reality of saying do we
(01:49:55):
have a healthy president should be shouldbe top of mind for any of us.
And so when President Biden says onABC, I am not going to
undergo a cognitive test for the peopleto get an understanding of my health status,
that's literally giving all of us themiddle finger. He's saying, I
really don't care what you think aboutmy cognitive ability. I'm running for president
(01:50:19):
of the United States of America, whether you like it or not. I
have a problem with that as anindependent voter. Brian Thomas, I believe
we should know. I believe thatthe audio tapes that he did regarding whether
there were secret files left in hisin his home. I believe that we
should be able to listen to thatinterview. I don't want to just read
(01:50:43):
the transcript. I want to beable to hear his voice how he answered
the question, because I believe thatmight confirm for all of us that the
President of the United States is inpaired. Don't I deserve to have that
piece of information, Brian Thomas,You know me. I would argue that
you do, because I certainly wouldlike to have it as well. Although
I think after the debate performance prettymuch everybody is convinced even without the audio,
(01:51:09):
but it would be nice to havefurther proof of where Joe Biden is
relative to a normally well, cognitivelyfunctioning human being. Christopher Smithman. Always
a pleasure, appreciate Youank, BrianThomas, have a great week. Looks
follow me. They can follow meat at Vote Smitherman and let me share
with you. Like I'm in mostshows, I will be listening to your
(01:51:30):
interview with Prosecutor Melissa Powers. Criticalcritical election. Whether you're an independent,
a Democrat or Republican, law andorder should be a top of mind.
For all of us. She's thecandidate that I'm supporting along with Jim Neil

how some people who go through tragedy, serious tragedy, can still come out
(01:53:27):
the other side with a positive attitudeabout life and love and family, while
others, you know, tend towallow and misery and never seem to let
it go pass them. Christina Wilson, Welcome, to the fifty five KRSE
Morning Show. It's a pleasure tohave you on today. Thank you,
Brian. Nice to speak with you. Well, you're a biography describes you
as a first generation ABC didn't knowwhat that was, American born Chinese.
(01:53:49):
But your life at age twenty fiveyou described it as a fairy tale.
You were living the dream. Youwere married, you were in love,
you were rich, you were everythingwas fine. But then you got a
phone call. Let my listeners knowabout this and how that life transforming phone
call ended up, you know, becoming something. Well, I guess a
(01:54:13):
message of positivity for those who arealso experiencing grief. Right. So,
yes, so at the age oftwenty five, well, at the age
of twenty five, I met myhusband at the time, and so we
were living in New York City, and yes, we were living the high
life, you know, he went. Everything seemed to be, you know,
(01:54:34):
just perfect. Like I said,I always read fairy tales and so
it was sort of a believer infairy tales and just you know, at
everything I thought that you know,I was supposed to have in life,
or I believe you have in life? Right yet right, and you know,
in it was actually a few yearslater that I got a phone call
(01:55:01):
on the you know, telling methat my husband was in a car accidents.
And you know, the story isthat you know, he survived thirteen
months, but in that thirteen monthshe was minimally conscious and it was a
rough time. You know. Ihad two we had two young boys,
(01:55:21):
and so with me, I've alwaysthought that I think this is the reason
why I wrote the stories is I'vealways believed that when things happen in life,
you know, for me, thatit was actually for me. You
know, people always like ask whyis this happening to me? Right?
(01:55:44):
And I always like to think, well, why is this happening. There
must be a reason it's happening, and I believe that it's something to teach
me a lesson. Yeah, yeah, I share that personal perception. You
know, I look back at theworst things that happened to me in my
life life and how those ultimately werea stepping stone to something so much better.
(01:56:05):
You know, failed relationships or tragediesor whatever you end up if you
really are are are objective enough aboutit, you can learn something from that
and then you take a look atyour current life and say, gee,
if that hadn't happened to me,I wouldn't be here today. I mean,
I've been married for thirty two years, just a couple of weeks ago.
My wife and i've been together forthirty five thank you, But you
(01:56:26):
know a lot of things happened beforeI met her. They could have never
allowed her to enter into my life. And you know, it's like I
just take some stock in that.Yes, no, you know, I
always say it's the rear rear viewmirror of life. Right. You could
look back, you know, whetherit's five years out, ten years out,
even a year out sometimes and you'relike, oh wow, I see
(01:56:47):
why this happened. It was toteach me I love you know when you
said about stepping stones, because that'swhat I believe it is. It's a
stepping stone too, becoming who you'remeant to be. And I think we
always you know here, yes Idid finish this book, but at sixty
tomorrow, but thank you, thankyou. But I feel, you know,
(01:57:11):
you're always evolving, right, You'resupposed to always evolve and become something
more. And so I believe allthe things that happened, it's happening for
a reason. Rights It's to teachyou. And you know, I do
also believe that if you don't learnthe lesson, it'll come back, It'll
come back in a different way.So you know, I try, I
(01:57:35):
try and be very aware at thetime, I'm like, Okay, what
could this be trying to teach me? And obviously, you know when I
was young, I you know, there were talks just like wow, you
know this is so crazy, like, you know, how could this be
happening? But like I said, when I look back ten years later,
you know, ten years after myhusband passed, I'm like, I see
(01:57:56):
why this happened. You know Ineeded it is to teach me strength and
inner strength. And you know,I had taken life very much for granted,
and so it's not yes, astragic as things can be, and
I don't take away that. Youknow, life can be tragic and there
are tragedy, but I think, you know, especially when we talk I
(01:58:20):
talk about grief, it's you haveto keep moving. And I always say
forward. I don't believe you moveon from things. You move forward.
You're supposed to move forward. Andso taking baby steps every day forward,
especially through grief, is so productiveand helpful to get you through that journey,
(01:58:43):
my guess, said Christina Wilson, the author of Believe and Memoir in
Stories. Now it's one thing, and you know, we can as adults
talk about this on a very youknow level, on a level like this.
You take into account, get throughyour grief, learn from it,
don't ever forget it. But rememberyou your life isn't over all these positive
things that you know we can wecan speak of. But what of the
(01:59:04):
children. I know you wrote achildren's book for your your, your,
your, your, your children todeal with this tragedy. But how does
one use this logic, this reason, this, this this beautiful way of
sort of getting through the grief. How does want to apply that to a
child who doesn't have all the foundationadult has. Well, you know,
(01:59:26):
with the children during the time,so they were at the time of the
accident, four in six are veryyoung, very young, and you know
it was a sudden accident, andyou know, like I said, he
was minimally conscious. So I alwaysbelieved in telling my children from a very
young age, you know, alwaysspeaking the truth. So when they would
(01:59:47):
ask me is Daddy going to die? Is Daddy okay? I would always
say I hope. So because Ididn't want to give I wanted to give
them hope, but I didn't wantto lie to them, and so false
hope, right, And so Ialways feel that's so important, and I
(02:00:08):
think that helped them through their transitiongroup in Greece, you know, in
this state. You know, Ijust believe in transparency and honesty. So
we talk about everything and you know, yes there's ups and downs and you
know, and then I always tryto be very aware of you know,
(02:00:31):
i'd really try and put myself myselfin their shoes, right, like how
would I be thinking of this situation? Or you know, how do you
get through this at such a youngage? But kids look at their parents
for the way to get through something, right, So, as I talked
about in my book, yes,I put on a mask every day,
(02:00:54):
which I felt like I had towrite because really, if it wasn't for
my children, I don't know howI would have done it. But every
day I woke up and I waslike, I've got to put on this
happy face for them, and it, you know, it told them that
it was okay to be happy thatyes, this horrible thing has happened in
(02:01:15):
their life. But you have to, like I said, you know,
I told them every day we haveto move forward, you have to take
a baby step. And I thinkjust the communication, you know, in
life with everyone right is so important. And so I just always believed in,
you know how, speaking a positivemessage message as as negative as things
(02:01:39):
could be. Well, and it'sa great thing. It's it's obviously very
tragic that your children were so youngwhen this happened, but obviously they gave
you a great inspiration to put thathappier face on which I goes. I
suppose taught you a lesson too aboutcontinuing to live your life. You had
those young people as an inspiration tomaintain that dare I say, facade while
(02:01:59):
you were getting through your own grief. But what I now, this book
is not just you know, recommendedfor you know, people with young children
to deal with grief. It's foranybody who's dealing with grief. Well,
you have a podcast, Sisterhood throughGrief, where you and your fellow grief
supporters talk help people walk through theseWhat is the most difficult challenge people face?
Like say, I look at mymom who my father passed away almost
(02:02:23):
two years ago, and her dealingwith her issues of grief. You know,
we're obviously adult children. You know, I'm is sixty years old,
but there's just a different thing theregoing on. How do people that are
in that situation where maybe they don'thave a supportive family, how are they
to meet this challenge? That's reallyhard, I mean, because grief is
(02:02:45):
devastating. Yeah, it's pain thatyou just can't unless until you go through
it, because everyone will go throughit right at some stage. But until
you go through it, you reallycannot understand the pain. So I will
never take that way from anyone understandingthat pain. That's why we have this
(02:03:05):
podcast for people who are alone. And I was fortunate to have a grief
support so I always think, youknow, if you could get into a
grief support group, just having someone, one person who understands your pain can
make the lifetime of difference. Imean it it's a it's a sister you
(02:03:27):
know, like we call our sisterhood, but it's it's an understanding and a
bond of like no other having someoneunderstand your pain and it doesn't matter,
you know, like here I amtwenty years out, but I still can
when people call me and you knowI've lost my husband, you know I
can still go back to that timeand say, Okay, yes, I
(02:03:49):
get what you're going through, andthis is you know you and I,
like I said, I the thingI always say is you've got to take
a baby step forward every day.You cannot get stuck in your grief.
That's when it becomes really bad.Yeah, you know, you just have
to You have to try and niltydays that you know, and I always
(02:04:12):
say, give yourself that day tohave a horrible day, lay in bed,
cry, do what you have todo. But the next day,
get up and do something that's movingforward. Well, and in your case
it's tough. You went on andyou got remarried, and you know,
his three children and your children together, and you refer to the relationship as
like the Brady Bunch, which youknow, everybody's got their ups and downs,
(02:04:36):
but better things may rate you downthe road. You got to get
out of bed and you got totackle life. And this book is an
inspiration. Helped do that real quickbefore we part company. And I appreciate
the time you spent with my listenersand me this morning and all those folks
that you helped through the podcast Sisterhoodthrough Grief. You broke down the book
in a series of it's a memoirin stories. How's the book laid out?
(02:04:57):
Just generally speaking? Some of mylisteners have an idea, so it
is chronological, So it starts fromwhen I was young, right, and
talks about my family, my upbringingand like I said, American born Chinese
and then goes through up to now. But I was very adamant about having
it in stories because I think storytellingis a way that people can learn.
(02:05:25):
It's easier to learn through a storyrather than sitting and reading a book from
you know, in the beginning andthen to the end. Right. So
I think each story is basically alife lesson, and so I think it's
very easy. And then at theend it wraps it all up in a
nice little bow. But I thoughtit was really important to keep it in
(02:05:49):
a story format so you can,you know, you can grasp it easier
and say, oh, okay,I get it. I get that's what
the lesson was. Christina Wilson, your book is on my blog page,

struggles. And I appreciate that, and I appreciate the time you spent again
with my listeners and me this morning. Christina. Thanks very much, best

your name and talks about how importantit is you get reelected as Hamilton County
Prosecutor because we need to be toughon crime. You are, and let
us start on a positive note beforewe get to more bond shenanigans which you
regularly post, and I will Istrong encourage my listeners to like you follow
(02:09:33):
you at Melissa Powers, Hamilton CountyProsecutor on Facebook. Let's sing the praises
of those who got in touch withthe parole board because Wayne Reed and Russell
Bell were denied parole. Yeah, thanks for your listeners, those that responded
to our call for help and thecall for action to keep these cock killers
(02:09:54):
behind bars and that they remain behindbars for the rest of their lives.
Yes, the update was their parolewas denied. I think in large part
they listened to our community. Wehad a wide response in addition to my
office obviously objecting to their release.Their next hearing won't be until March of
(02:10:15):
twenty twenty nine, so we havesome reprieve I think, in some relief
that at least until March of twentytwenty nine they're parole, they'll be behind
bars and we'll just continue to fightthe next time that they come up for
parole. Well, you, anytimeissues like this crop up, you know
you have a venue here in themorning show to get people to start ringing
the phone of the Ohio Parole Boardfor cop killers. Most notably, but
(02:10:37):
sadly enough, on the bad newsside of the Ledger, you're still reporting
as you regularly do, bond updates. We've got some very liberal judges out
there who are letting folks out withown recognizance bonds. In other words,
you don't have to post any money. That's basically a no bail situation,
but under some pretty horrific circumstances hereout, Brian. I mean, we're
(02:11:01):
constantly fighting against these low bonds andour bonds, particularly on offenses of violence.
We have violence that's risen in someneighborhoods, and in the past seven
several weeks our cities has experienced twomass shootings. An incident involving use of
force by police officers for a manwith a firearm and a Kroger grocery store
(02:11:22):
at Coleraine, the music hall incidentthe Bramble Park where fifteen people were shot.
We also had wthrow high school graduation. If you recall a car,
it was a drive by a carpulled up fired into a crowd. Seven
people at a high school graduation returnedfire. Forty rounds were shot. Luckily
(02:11:45):
in that incident, nobody was harmed. But we need our judges to really
take the responsibility of helping curbing theviolence in our neighborhoods and in our cities.
We have an epidemic. It seemslike every time you turn on the
news, you're seeing somebody was shotor there was you know, shots fired,
(02:12:05):
or a police use of force, and we're just you know, we're
right in the middle of summer. This is going to continue during these warm
months. We know crime spikes, but we need everybody to take it seriously.
When an individual is arrested for illegallypossession, that's possessing a firearm,
particularly convicted felon who has a weaponsunder disability charge. Those people should remain
(02:12:26):
behind bars, and we take thegun off the street. And somebody that
has access to firearms who is willingto use a firem because they're carrying illegally,
maybe they're drug dealers, maybe they'rethreatening people, whatever it may be,
they should remain behind bars. Itshould not be a catch and release.
And so I just really strongly speakout. I want our citizens to
(02:12:50):
understand what's how important when you electa judge, that we're electing judges that
will not neglect their responsibility, willtake public safety and law in order,
and that they're part of the solution. I hear all these uh there was
you know, different TV stations anddifferent groups are putting together how do we
stop juvenile violence? Well, noone's talking about keeping them locked up if
(02:13:15):
they're arrested, And to me,that's part of the solution. You can
put all I agree with all theprograms, or you want more recreational area
centers or whatever it may be inparticular neighborhoods so that you know, children
can have a nice, nice youknow, hopefully a nice place to go
or to keep them occupied. Butthe judges one of the responsibilities is public
(02:13:37):
safety, and they just they they'reneglecting their responsibility and in my opinion,
undermining the people's confidence in the judicialsystem when they're just releasing you know,
violent people, repeat offenders, peoplewith guns. Well, and you're talking
about recidivius here. You know, demands surely be unwilling to follow the law,
(02:14:01):
most notably the guy with the weaponsunder disability. He had already been
charged with that and he goes outand he's got own recognis bond, he's
in he's in court for having agun. I mean, you know,
obviously a willingness to disregard the law. This is the type of person that
should face the consequences. And uh, let me just cut to the chase
on this. You have been identifyingand I can't thank you enough for doing
(02:14:24):
this. On your page again,Melissa Powers, Hamilton County Prosecutor Facebook,
you post these bond hearings and theresults of them. You point the name
of the judge, and you've identifieda couple of different judges over the past
several months that seemed to be theoutliers of the problems with the low or
no bond situations. Have you ever, I mean, I don't know if
it's appropriate, if this is somethingthat prosecutors do. You ever talked to
(02:14:46):
them about the reality of this, get their philosophy or why they think it's
appropriate to let a guy who's outlet a guy out on o R when
he's when he's been busted again forhaving a weapon. Our prosecutors are you
very strongly for public safety on allof these cases. That's our way of
communicating to the giants whether they havea violent criminal history, whether the facts
(02:15:09):
warranted because the offense is so seriousthat either a single victim is in danger
or the public at large is atdanger. But also knowing that there is
a gun problem, that we havea lot of shootings or people people getting
hurt by it with violence to giveand oh, our bond is not helping
the problem. So I can't havea individual conversation. It's usually it has
(02:15:35):
to be on a case by casebases where our prosecutors are arguing it in
court. So all of these allthis information is pointed out to them in
the courtroom and that's how that's howwe handle it. Well, I suppose
then it's incumbent upon my listeners likeyou are doing to bring pressure to bear
on them merely by pointing out factuallywhat's gone on in the courtroom. You
(02:15:58):
know, I know who. I'mnot planning on voting for Hamilton County Prosecutor
Melissa Powers for no other reason thanthe posts that you put up and the
idea that we know exactly who theseyou know, I guess social justice reformer
judges are any comments as we moveforward some of the important judicial races there
were going into this November, well, there are seven judicial races in Hamilton
(02:16:20):
County, all of which I thinkthere's a distinct difference between those that are
law and order and those that areswing to the radical George Soro's mentality that
the criminals or the accused rights aremore important than a victim or the public
safety. They also believe, uh, you know, in general, I'm
(02:16:43):
speaking in general terms. The opponentsagainst public safety. I don't know if
they have an appreciation that how importantyou know, deterrence b lock and keeping
people locked up is a deterrence, you know, the leniency reduces the terrence.
And then and if somebody believes theydon't face any kind of consequences,
(02:17:03):
they're not discouraged from committing crime. And then the impact it has on witnesses
and victims, so they are lesslikely to cooperate and come to court or
come forward. Three hundred people wereat that Ramble park and I'm not sure
anybody has cooperated to help, youknow. Bring fifteen people were shot and
(02:17:26):
we don't have any nobody saw anything. I just thought that right if we
get judges that balance the rights ofthe accused of public safety and that would
protect a victim of crime and keepthe person locked up, particularly domestic violence
crimes. You know, we havetrouble or a rape victim, sexual offenses.
(02:17:48):
You know, you can just godown the list of serious offenses where
a person doesn't feel protected, they'renot going to come forward, and then
we don't. And then the individualsthat are getting these the accused or the
offenders that are getting the low bonds, they're going right back into the same
community where the crime may have occurred. So it makes everybody feel less safe
(02:18:11):
and nobody has any belief in thejudicial system. Well, most those domestic
relations, if an of those guysare the most likely to be recidivous,
aren't they beaten up on the Xor the wife or the ex wife?
Is the case may be. Imean that just doesn't stop. No,
as you know, Brian, Imean, it takes a long time for
somebody for a victim of domestic violenceto even call the police, and then
(02:18:35):
once I do, it's very hardfor them to continue to get in court.
There's a whole psychology involved with theabuser and the emotional abuses it goes
along with it, and then themanipulation, so you know, they you
know, whether I'm sorry, youknow you made me do this, and
and so therefore you know, butI love you, and then they make
(02:18:56):
up or whatever. So there's awhole cycle that goes on involved in domestic
violence, and then, as youknow, it continues to escalate, and
so it is more than just once. Most often we see it as a
pattern of conduct. And then youhave a victim that's trapped in that situation
and the highest risk if they attemptto lead the relationship of really serious physical
(02:19:22):
harmor and being killed by their abusers. So you're right, I mean,
recidivism is a direct threat to publicsafety. Every time you let this catch
and release, it's an increased likelihoodof repeat offenses. And that the deterrence
is just the leniency just reduces adeterrence. So we need judges you asked
(02:19:43):
about the question was about judges. We need judges that understand this, that
have experience, that have been throughthat that can recognize who is the threat
to safety and who is the onethat you can release. I'm not saying
keep everybody locked up at the veryyou know, and then but there's opportunities
(02:20:03):
for us, you know, forfor other judges. Once a person is
charged with the crime, they gothrough a process and then get indicted if
it's a felony, or they getinto the courtroom if it's a misdemeanor,
you have another judge with some timeand space involved before you can really you
know, really in a domestic violencesituation, you want to remove that person
(02:20:24):
because you need the situation to calmdown for the safety of the individual.
So you know, you want toset a higher bond something to make sure
that they're protected by the time theyget into the courtroom. Let's let another
judge take a review and assess thesituation. They have more information than just
when what the arrest, because sometimesthese investigations continue and so we get we
can get even deeper into the factsof to what's going on. But it's
(02:20:48):
important to judges that you elect becauseit is a direct it's a direct impact
on our on our lives and ourpublic safety in our neighborhoods well. And
it's certainly something we need to keepin mind when we're voting for prosecutor,
because without a prosecutor that's tough oncrime, then it's never going to be
in front of a judge to startwith. So vote for Melissa Powers for
Hamlin County Prosecute. You can helpher out. Go to Powers for Prosecutor

very simple way to do it.But you can also help work on our
campaign. Get a yard sign, but help support Melissa Powers. And I
imagine, Melissa, you have probablyheard there's going to be some big,
fat out of state money coming into interfere with this campaign this fall.
(02:21:33):
That's right, You're absolutely right.I mean, we have that issue that
has been done in other cities, and we know how it's destroyed wonderful cities.
I grew up here. I loveour city. I want to make
sure that we can maintain our cityto be a great place to live and
raise a family. So everybody shouldunderstand public safety is on the ballot this
November. It doesn't matter what yourpolitics are. We understand that we have
(02:21:58):
to fight against these scaled policies thathave ruined other big cities throughout our country.
We have visual demonstration of that reality. Just read any newspaper on any
given day. As I stare atthe article about eighty seven people being shot
in Chicago over the fourth of Julyweekend, how Mung County prosecuting a list
