Funds this morning, kind of aweird sound coming through them. Apologies for
that and Happy Wednesday, nonetheless,Brian Thomas right here in finding phone calls
five one three, seven, four, nine fifty five eight two three talk
Joe Dereker, executive producer, Thankyou for lining up Ken Blackwell. Love
Ken. He's a board member ofthe Public Interest Legal Foundation, among other
things. Impressive resume Ken has. We're gonna get his thoughts on the Biden
Kamala Harris situation and his thoughts onpicking JD. Vans and the Vice President
(00:23):
Shohn nominee, among other topics withKen Blackwell. That's coming up at seven
oh five. Rick Robinson of hisbook nineteen sixty eight. This should be
a good conversation primer for understanding babyboomers, comparing the Democrats nineteen sixty eight
convention to the Democrats of twenty twentyfour convention. Of course, coming up.
Sixty eight wasn't a great day.It was not a banner day for
(00:44):
the Democrats back then. So anyway, parallels can be drawn and we will
work through those with Rick Robinson ateight oh five. And I meantime,
got to give props a guy Bensonas we watch the well, the just
amazing groundsfoo of support for Kamala Harrisafter she was anointed, after they chucked
Joe Biden out the door, alittle bit of coup to ta going on,
and of course the money's rolling inand the groundswallow support and polling.
(01:07):
Oh my god, Reuter's zipsos pollHarris leads Trump by two points. Huh,
and that's bound to happen. Democratsare so damn relieved that Joe Biden
is no longer a drag on theticket, considering how poorly he has been
polling. This is just sort oflike, oh my god, thank god
he's gone. But what do theyhave in return? Kamala Harris is why
I turned a guy Benson. Iwould just go ahead and read his opinion
(01:30):
piece, which is directed at youby Republican and independent leaning friends, and
what we need to do about it. The Biden campaign was bleeding out holed
by weeks of fratricital attacks from withinthe Democratic Party from its top appendage,
the news media. Finally, thepresident hit the threshold for political pain,
(01:51):
relented, announcing his withdrawal from therace, and a letter posted online shortly
thereafter, he endorsed Vice President KamalaHarris to succeed him in the role as
Democratic nominee. Many in the partywere anxious about this choice too, but
the painful era of internal warring hadto end. Dislodging Biden had been ugly
enough. Also, trying to jettisonHarris would have been a giant risk.
(02:13):
Even a completely fresh ticket is whatmany elite Democrats ardently wanted, some still
do. Prolonging the drama and introducinga new acrimony was disposed of as an
option, so that coalesce was rapidcoalescence rather was rapid doubts and concerns aside.
They're with her, stuck with her, perhaps, but they're with her.
(02:34):
How should Republicans respond to all this? Again, this is Guy Benson.
Allow me to make a few pointsbefore getting my thoughts on how to
prosecute the most effective case against Harris. First, it's a bit ridiculous sing
some people pretending that Republicans are panickedabout Biden's ouster and Harris's ascension. It's
true that there has been something ofa volcanic reaction to these unprecedented maacinations,
(02:58):
but that's natural expect For months theTrump campaign has been running against Democrats incumbent
and presumptive nominee who dominated his party'sprimary process. Joe Biden jump built a
stable lead over him with the generalelection well underway. The Democrats sustained lie
about Biden's condition, replete with theindignant gas lighting about cheap fakes, and
(03:19):
fell apart during the open minutes ofthe far earlier than usual presidential debate.
Caught in their extremely damaging lie,Democrats decided they need to do over.
The election. Results of the primarywould be discarded. In the man their
voters selected to stand for another termwas relentlessly hounded out of the race.
They lied to protect him for thecause, and when the utility of that
(03:42):
lie abruptly expired, they tossed himoverboard against his will. For the same
cause they nullified their own election. It's entirely reasonable for Republicans to react negatively
to all of this. It's nota freak out or a melt down.
It's an objection yet more ruthless dirtypower above all, behindhavior by the Democrats,
who fancy themselves the civic minded, pro democracy party. They're frauds.
(04:06):
Pointing that out is accurate and fair. Democratic voters likely won't care that their
entire primary simply was disregarded after thefact, because they're on board for the
cause. But the maneuvering should serve. Let me underscore this to further motivate
Republican voters. The other side willdo anything massive turnout is required to defeat
(04:31):
them. I also think democrats eagerrejection of their own democratic process, hurling
fourteen point four million ballots into thesea because they were no longer seen as
helpful to the party's desired outcome undercutsthe apocalyptic democracy messaging that proved rather effective
with independent voters in the twenty twentytwo staving off of a red wave.
(04:53):
There's some political upside for Republicans tomake this case, but belly aching about
it too strenuously for too long isn'tproductive. Make the argument, Let it
hit with those with whom it mightbe effective, then move on. Biden's
out Harris is in adjust. Secondly, over confidence is the enemy. Kamala
Harris can win the selection. Ialso thought Biden could still win. For
(05:16):
what it's worth. Trump's strong pollingposition arose from widespread unhappiness with the performance
of the Harris biden administration and thedirection of the country, as well as
pervasive doubts about to have a deterioratingeighty one year old president's ability to do
the job now, let alone foranother four years. The former vulnerability policy
(05:39):
applies to Harris in spades. Thelatter does not. The deflation of enthusiasm
and fundraising that accompanied Biden's dissent andsubsequent infighting will largely be reversed. Let
me pause there and point out that'swhat's happening right now. The polling is
leaning toward Harris and the money isflowing into her campaign. Harris will pull
(05:59):
in powers of cash with megadowners backin the fold two. Much of this
is partisan catharsis and relief after weeksof acrimony and fear, but Biden's politically
lethal softness among Democrats may no longerbe the emergency that it was. Democrats
are going to will themselves into astate of unity and enthusiasm. That's what's
(06:21):
going on now. This matters inthe polling. As some disaffective and demoralized
party faithful and aligned Democrat demographic groupscome back into the fold, a polling
bounce is possible, and I notethat Reuter's poll, if not probable,
it matters more for fall turnout. The advantage of Democrats already held on ballot
(06:43):
operations have not disappeared. Neither havecorresponding Republican weaknesses. Despite his base aderation
and clear uptick and favorability and retrospectivejob approval ratings, Donald Trump is not
a broadly popular figure. Harris canwin, but she shouldn't. It's true
that Kamala Harris is famously toxic towork for, resulting in an exceptionally high
(07:06):
turnover within her political operation. ColumnistGeorge will once describe her cringe worthy words
solid as redolent of the student tryingto offer a book report on a book
she hadn't read. By political standards, She's not a talented BS or perhaps
the hype machine going on into overdrivearound her well with imbue Harris with a
(07:27):
new sense of confidence, and she'llmanage to take her game to another level.
But her awkward behavior, meandering answersand anecdotes like this suggests she shares
critics doubts about her own abilities.I don't think it's smart for Republicans to
repeat gossip about her sexual history withinthe realm of California politics, or to
(07:49):
hammer on the theme that she's aDEI candidate, which now is a bad
word. By the way, it'strue that Biden spoke publicly about selecting a
woman of colin or a woman ofcolor, and then later made those identity
factors literal requirements for any Supreme Courtnomination he might name. It's also true
that Harris is an underwhelming intellectual figure, having failed the bar exam on her
(08:11):
first try. But it's not asif Biden was some sort of brilliant leading
light. Either focusing too much onsuch things, mocking her signature, laugh
painting her as a lightweight, andnoting her previous political failures won't be sufficient.
But it does happen to be truethat Harris was so off putting and
uncompelling as a presidential candidate that hertwenty twenty roun didn't even make it to
(08:33):
twenty twenty. A judgment was renderedby her own parties voters in her own
only real statewide run against the Republicanshe barely won in California, the GP
almost beat her in twenty ten becauseof her awful records, she ran away
with behind the rest of the Democraticticket once again, that approach holds the
(08:54):
key to defeating her nationally, thistime for all the marbles. Democrats rallied
Biden into twenty twenty because they becamegripped by the fear that a left wing
nominee like Bernie Sanders or Elizabeth Warrenwould lose to Trump once elected, Rather
than governing as a moderate, unifyingagency agent of normalcy, that he presented
a voter's Biden or the people callingthe shots at the White House raced leftward.
(09:20):
He's been lurching to the left eventhe last few weeks, embracing insane
notion of national rent control and SCOTUSreforms in a failed effort to save as
presidential candidate or campaign rather from Democraticvultures. In short, Biden governed more
like Harris campaigned before her bid cameto a premature and inglorious end. She
was just worse and less appealing inthe hard left wane than santers of Warren,
(09:43):
so her support collapsed in twenty nineteen. But thanks to that race,
she's on record in favor of defundingthe police and empowering criminals, ending private
health insurance for one hundred million Americans, forcing taxpayers to fund illegal immigrants health
care plan, decriminalizing illegal immigration, destroying the filibuster to pass the radical ninety
(10:05):
three trillion dollars Green New Deal, and requiring taxpayers to fund elective abortions through
all nine months of pregnancy. Shedemanded a conversation about whether terrorists like the
Boston Marathon bomber should have the rightto vote. If there was a hardcore
left wing idea in her basis bloodstream, she ingested it. She is far
to Biden's left. His failed policieswould have been even worse If she'd gotten
(10:30):
her way, the administration would havebeen more openly hostile to Israel. And
then there's the border crisis. Harrisowns a big chunk of Americans inflation plan
and had in hand in all theother Bid Harris messes, including on foreign
policy. But Biden's most egregious disasterhas been the border, and she was
(10:50):
his designated borders are years of deflections, lives and excuses led to ten million
illegal crossings on border Harris's watch, including many violent criminals, gang members,
cartel figures, and suspected terrorists. The recent spate of violent crimes committed against
American citizen biollegal immigrants, and alarmingISIS and terrorism related threats of the border
(11:13):
lands at the doorstep of Kamala Harris. She was also among the most central
figures in the conspiracy of silence coverup about Biden's national security threatening frailty and
disorientation. She is one of Biden'smost prominent and therefore dishonest validators on this
front. Kamala Harris will lie aboutanything for political purposes. She was second
(11:37):
in command of the failed Biden Harrisadministration, which resembled Harris's twenty nineteen vision
for the presidency more than it didBiden's twenty twenty pitch to voters, and
she's much too extreme for average voters. Lies about Biden, ownership of Harris,
Biden failures, and ideological extremism.Republicans should overwhelmingly focus on these themesmes
(12:00):
of which there are damning trails ofrecent video footage. Her talent deficiencies and
wins inducing blatherings will speak for themselves. I' llevi you with Harris receiving hosannas
from her natural political habitat as wellas baseline Trump versus Harris poll taken before
Biden dropped out by a generally Democratfriendly polster. It looks similar to Biden's
(12:24):
general standing. Perhaps the shit hugeshake up at the top of the ticket
will reshape the race as voters adjustto what's happened, or maybe not.
In the police sites the Quinnipiac pollwhich showed Trump at forty five, Harris
at forty one, and among independents, Trump at forty six and Harris at
thirty two. So this ground swellof fundraising and maybe a tip towards Harris
(12:46):
direction in the polls, I think, personally is a temporary phenomenon, and
I think Guy Benson's hit the nailon the head, focus on policy,
and continue to do so. You'rein the winning side of the argument.

Trump filed an FEC complained over theefforts to transfer Biden's ninety one million dollars
into Harris's campaign, A brazen moneygrabs what they called it. There are
rules regarding the transfer of those ones. We'll see whether he's successful on that
one. Something I think that ispointless and a wasted exercise and political posturing.
(14:56):
We now have a articles of impeachmentfiled against President Vice President Kamala Harris,
which are supposed to be filed todayby Representative Andy Ogla's Republican out of
Tennessee. He is accusing Harris ofbreaching public trust and of willfully refusing to
uphold US immigration law, and twoimpeachment articles. Former article on public trust
(15:18):
accused Harris of having knowingly misled thepublic of the United States and Congress of
the United States, principally to obfuscatethe physical and cognitive well being of the
President Joe Biden. Let us seehere what are the grounds for impeachment of
a federal official According to the Constitution, it's treason, bribery, and other

Yeah, yeah, Yeah, shewas on a sportcard I heard last

was left of Bernie Sanders. Yeah, I brought that up yesterday. That

out all over. Her record speaksfor itself. Well, I think the
Democrats are going to actually do somethingthat's convention, and I don't think she
is going to be the nominee.I think they're going to have somebody another
team step forward that they nominate forsomebody else that they nominate, and that
(20:30):
way they can say, well, you know it's not us, the delegates,
did their hands be clean of it, and they can insert somebody else.

But in the meantime, we haveactual a background, a record. She's
(21:15):
been in politics, she was asenator, she was going to prosecutor on
California. We got a big recordto run on and her own people.
It wasn't that long ago. Shedidn't even make it to the debate stage
because within the Democrat Party when shewas running for president, no one wanted
her. I mean, you areyou're witnessing the the the reality of hiring
(21:36):
someone based upon their physical attributes, not the qualifications for office. And this
is a product of their own doingthis virtue signaling by selecting a black woman.
And you know, people are pointingout, you know, I don't

life looking at physical attributes and characteristicsover oh I'm sorry, merits. Let
it play out, folks, letit play out. I think we're on
solid ground as long as we stickto issues. Man sentence for deadly shooting

because I think he's been down thisroad before, they do fundraisers to

top of their regular fees, whichsounds like the pandemic money paid for their

money is fungible right right now.The thing about the three lunches and stuff,

the Biden Kamala Harris situation and histhoughts on picking JD. Vance Rick Robinson

joining us at eight oh five andsadly saw an article yesterday in the Wall

retire. U baby boom went tosixty four, and that means the whole
(40:05):
bulk of the baby boomers now reachedretirement age. And the sad reality of
the article, it's not necessarily importantrelative just to the the idea that they're
all retiring, is that a huge, huge percentage of baby boomers don't have
anything saved by way of retirement,so they're going to be relying exclusively on
Social Security. If you're looking intoyour future and finding yourself in that situation,
(40:27):
I would change trajectory and start puttingaway something for your retirement because we
all know sois Security is going torun out of money at some point,
and it was never intended to provideone hundred percent of your retirement needs.

(40:52):
I just have to note that isit? Is it common hella Kamala?
I don't want to be accused ofof like being a racist or something like
that, because apparently pronouncing her nameincorrectly is part of a hate campaign being
(41:13):
waged by the right wing, sosay at MSNBC's Morning Joe co host Mika
Brazinski. She claims that the conservativefolks out there in the world have initiated
what she described as, in herwords, a hate campaign against the presumptive
presidential nominee. Hmm, I've heardfrom inside Republican circles and right wing media
(41:39):
that they hate campaign against Kamala Harris. Is the gun You'll notice they purposely
pronounce her name wrong. They say, you know, I don't know how
to pronounce her name. Honestly,I don't have any hatreds or Kamala Harris.
Is it Kamala or Kamala? Idon't know, Joe, do you
know? No, thank you,You've made me feel better anyway. I'm
(42:00):
sorry. Apologies to miss Harris.Let's call it that, and then we
can move on assume me, thankyou, Okay. Attacks DEI attacks on
Harris are the equivalent of the Nword. Representative Maxwell Frost, Democrat out
(42:21):
of Florida, said that yesterday CNN'snewsroom, some say Kamal Harris, whatever
name is, miss Harris a DEIhire, which in his words, is
offensive. Frost said, he's goingto continue to use all these racist dog
(42:42):
whizzles throughout the campaign. We're gonnasee it from Trump, We're gonna see
it from JD. Van, Sowe're gonna hear see it from a lot
of their surrogates. In fact, here we go to our local state senator.
Just yesterday, one of the surrogateswas saying, if we don't win,
we're gonna have a civil war toget our agenda through a civil war.
So this is ouranization. This isa right wing campaign that's going to
be racist, misogynistic against the vicepresident, and we're going to stand on
(43:06):
the issues. Good, you goahead and stand on the issues, and
you go ahead and throw these ridiculousassertions against us, much in the same
way you can't say Donald Trump's namewithout using yes, racist and misogynist.
Now, it's everybody. If youare a Donald Trump supporter, mainly because
you believe in his policies like, for example, a secure border, there's
one that makes you a racist andmisogynist. Whenever you hear DEI, I
(43:29):
want you to think about the Nword. I want you to think about
racial slurs. That's what they actuallymean, he said. And here's the
fun part. FROs said, Ihave a good relationship with the congressman.
I think sometimes though he does userhetoric as that is racist. Ready for
this, and whether people know it'sracist or not, I'm here to tell
(43:50):
them that it's racist, and Ihope they won't use that rhetoric anymore.
So your intent doesn't matter. That'sobviously what he's saying. Moving over MSNBC.
(44:13):
It's always MSNBC, isn't it.They come up with the strangest conclusions.
Joy Reid, who's famous for hercrazy accusations and assertions. Quote,
given just the stratospheric entrance of VicePresident Kamala Harris whatever name is into the
presidential campaign and she has now securedenough delegates to become the nominee, you
(44:34):
are going to look real crazy.Being on the other side of that line,
particularly as a person of color, but really, as anyone who claims
to have any connection to the culture, You're gonna look really weird and real
lonely on that side, she said, You're gonna look crazy being on that
(44:54):
side. Given the cultural phenomenon ofVice President Kamala Debbie A, she's about
to make history. She's about tobecome the first woman president. The door
needs to close behind amber Rose, and she looked crazy over there. Referring
to amber Rose. I mean,I don't even know who amber Rose is.
He to look her up. AmberRose does not subscribe to the moniker
(45:15):
black. She is a person ofcolor. She refers to herself as biracial,
which term would apply to Kamala Harris, and is Kamala Harris black?
I'm confused on this. This isnot Brian Thomas being racist. This is
me confused by the rhetoric. Isn'tshe Asian in Jamaican? Maybe that qualifies
(45:35):
as black. I don't know.I know out in the world, you
can be a white person to beheadof the NAACP by walking around and spending
your whole life saying that you're black, even though objectively you don't look like
a person of color. That confusedme. That was coming back a few
years. But joy Read goes on, she's racially ambiguous, referring again back
(45:55):
to Amber Rose. She's racially ambiguous. I don't want to say that she's
black, because she said she's not. I don't want to say she's to
say this black woman, this womanwho is of whatever race that she has
claimed. She said she's not black. But the RNC brought somebody whose career
(46:16):
is based on black culture. Herwhole culture came from black culture, even
though she said she's not a blackperson herself. Well, you know what
the word I'm reading every time joyRead out does the word black, I'm
referring to of course Democrats. Youheard it from Joe Biden's mouth. If
you don't vote Democrat, you ain'tblack. So it is not a color
(46:37):
thing. This is what I'm readinghere. This is the only conclusion I
can draw. You have a womanwho claims be biracial is in fact part
black, but she doesn't identify orsay that she is black out loud.
She chooses to identify herself by amore specific terminology. Barack Obama could have
very well have done that correct havinga white mother and a black father,
(46:59):
he chose to take on black ashis identity. Joy Reid doesn't go down
that road, obviously not choosing togo with the racial identity politics. But
you see, Joy Reid won't acknowledgethat she is basically concluding because Joy reed,
because amber Rose rather has gone Republican, that she no longer can be
black? Is this not just absolutelybatcrap insane? And for her part,
(47:24):
amber Rose replied, Hey, JoyReid, I've never said I wasn't black.
I said I identify as by Rachel. I'm not going to invalid my
quotes. A little sick should bethere. I'm not going to invoid my
white father to make you feel morecomfortable. Stop being a race baiter.
Your president does enough race bating afterall. Ooh, going back to my
(47:46):
point about Joe Biden saying what hesaid out loud, I'm sorry, just
bring all this up to illustrate thejust absolute abhorrent nature of this allocating us
into these different columns. You're black, air go, you must be Democrat?
(48:08):
Really? Humh, who's the racist? Six fifteen fifty five KCD talk
station. And of course, ifyou are black, by all objective standards,
and you say you're a Republican orthat you're not a democrat. Of
course you are no longer in thebucket that has black people in it.
(48:31):

(51:02):
Benjamin Yahuo addressed to the Joint Systemof Congress today, Kamala Harris not going
to be there despite having become thepresumptive Democratic presidential nominee. This is a
great this is a great illustration ofdecision making folks. She decided that an
earlier commitment to the Zeta Phi BetaSororities Convention in Indianapolis mattered more than a
(51:22):
speech by the leader of one ofAmerica's closest allies at a time of conflict
and crisis in a region involving vitalUS interests. Harris expected to meet in
net Yahoo during his visit to Washington, but the snub is unmistakable, fueling
rumors of a rift between the Harrisand Biden approaches to the Middle East.
On March fourth, NBC News reportof the National Security Council officials toned down
(51:46):
their words a draft of remarks fromMiss Harris that she was going to give
on the humanitarian situation in Gaza thisweek on the Journal reported Wall Street Journal
report that other Fishers could appear.Observers focus on any signs of Biden Harris
tension as the election approaches. Thisscrutiny comes in an awkward moment, so
(52:07):
ugly truths are beginning to make themselvesfelt in Washington. The dangers of American
involvement in a wider war across theMiddle East is dangerously high. Iran has
never been closer to a nuclear weaponthan it is today, and American officials
are worrying that Vladimir Putin, aspart of his anti Western campaign, might
help Iran across the nuclear finish linefaster than US or Israeli officials thought even
(52:28):
possible. Despite repeated warnings, Iranhasn't rained in its hoothy proteges in Yemen,
and Washington's patients is wearing thin. The closing months of the Biden administration
could see US forces engage in directattacks on Iranian naval vessels or against Iran
itself. People in government, formerofficials, and informed deservers tell me that
(52:51):
the pressure inside the US government formilitary strikes against Iran is building. Further
hoofy provocations are likely to prompt dramaticlea stronger response team. Biden's approach the
Middle East hasn't satisfied many Republican critics, but it represents a significant evolution from
former President Obama's approach. In theObama years, the goal of American Middle
(53:13):
East policy was to achieve regional stabilitythrough daytunt with Iran. Iran optimists hope
the nuclear deal would be the firstof a series of agreements that would gradually
ease hostilities between Washington and Tehran andreduce conflict across the region. Team Biden
no longer sees this as viable.Iran's rejection of President Biden's offer to re
enter the nuclear deal was sobering.Iran's expansion of support for proxies and tarifts
(53:37):
across the region hammered the message home. Iran wants a hostile relationship with both
the US and Israel. However, often Charlie Brown takes a run at the
football. Lucy's going to snatch itaway. This, I think is reflective
of a demonstrative of a weak USforeign policy. The realization led t Biden
to re examine its attitude towards bothSaudi Arabia and Israel. If Iran is
(53:59):
a reconcile albough, the only routeto stability the Middle East involves a partnership
between Israel and conservative Arab states likeSaudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
I love this point he makes, embarrassing as it may be for Biden Knights
to follow a policy akin to DonaldTrump's Abraham Accords, the US needed to
work with regional players who agreed withus on the basics. Promoting strategic reconciliation
(54:22):
between Israel and Saudi Arabia and enshriningthat cooperation and a security treaty between Washington
and Riod became the principal goal ofBiden era Middle East policy aka Donald Trump's
policy extended dave forma tarattack on Israel. Team Biden believed that the goal was
within reach. Since then, theadministration's objective in the region has been to
insulate progress on a new security architecturefrom the political fallout of the guys of
(54:45):
war. While many pro Israel observerswish that mister Biden's support for arm battled
ally had gone further, the effortto safeguard the Saudi negotiation has been largely
successful. Key Arab states believed thattheir own economic security interest depend on strategic
alignment with both Israel and the US. As one senior Saudi observed to an
(55:07):
American interlocateur. Ever, even acoalition of all the other countries in the
world couldn't offer Saudis the economic, technological and security benefits they can gain through
deep cooperation with the United States. That's good news. The chief political obstacles
of this realignment are not the MiddleEast. They are in America, a
(55:28):
loose coalition of pro Palestinian activists,Muslim Brotherhood supporters, Iron sympathizers, Arab
democracy advocates, proponents of Obama styleIran First Middle East policy, and isolationists
opposed the US Saudi security treaty thatwould anchor the alignment. Since treaties require
two thirds majority in Cenate for ratification, minority opposition must be taken seriously without
(55:49):
the president's strong support. No USSaudi treaty would pass president strong support.
That's a suggestion you might want tothink forward to Kamala Harris being president can
be higher disrupting the US, Arab, Israeli and Tante is Iran's objective and
also important to Russia and China. All the revisionist powers loth The idea of
the US led Alliance system stabilizing theMiddle East, a long term partner of
(56:13):
the Gulf Arab and their financial musclewith America and Israeli capitalism and technology would
tilt the global balance of power againstthe revisionists. This is where the Vice
President's fealty to Zeta phive Beta matters, rightly or wrongly. Key Arab leaders
may interpret her snub of mister Mettanahuat Netnyahu is evidence that Harris sympathizes with
(56:37):
the opponents of a Saudi treaty andthat her Middle East policy would differ significantly
from mister Biden's. That in turnwould make it harder for Biden negotiators to
get it yes, either about Gazaceasefire or in the final details of the
Saudi deal. It may also encouragethe Iradians, sensing weakness and division within
the administration, to turn up heaton mister Biden, increasing the chance of
(57:00):
his shooting war in the Gulf. What a vice presidents do doesn't normally matter,
But Kamala Harris is playing in thebig leagues now. The whole world
is watching, and she needs toget it right. And I don't think
snubbing that in Yahoo was the rightdecision to make. Again, she's dissing

And I never mean anything by it. Quite often, James, I will
joke about it. I'm reading someforeign name from some foreign land. It's
got nine thousand consonants in one vowel. I'm like, I'm giving it my

don't take it personally, how couldI. That's what the joke is about,

You're a black man. I've metyou, Mississippi. James. You don't

for calling this morning. Good tohear from you today. Oh, thank
you. You know a couple ofthings about Kamela. My family's been in
California since the eighteen thirties, infact, in the northern part. I
(01:04:27):
always say him so California. Andmy great grandmother was born on not very
farm when it was still working veryfar. Wow. This woman, she
did not even identify Hardley as beingblack until she ran for attorney general.
She identified as being Indian and nowand then once you be kat and started
running for attorney general, she wantedto get that identification out there. But
(01:04:50):
in rules of radicals, the firstrule of a radical is you make your
opponent live by their own rules. So she wants to make us live by
the rules of race and how wedeal with race. She has a record
of racism that goes tremendously deep. You taught you know, Tolci Gabbert in
(01:05:11):
twenty nineteen took a B two toher campaign when she talked about all the
people that she put in jail whowere black for smoking marijuana. Yeah.
Well, she also put a momin jail due to truancy because her daughter
had sickle celeninia and had to missa lot of school. And even though
(01:05:32):
it was a documented case with sickleceleninia, I believe she had a five
little four plan to excuse those absences. She went ahead with the prosecution and
put this mom in jail for herdaughter having sickle seleninia. That needs to
be shown all the time, becauseif she wants to make us live by
(01:05:53):
this rule of racism, make herown that. Yeah, I think that's
fine. Absolutely. I mean, her record speaks for itself, and it
is not a record that I personallydidn't necessarily be proud of. And of
course her left wing policies and everything, and this is part of it.
This whole this racial baiting that goeson incessantly. You also point out the
(01:06:14):
fluidity the whole idea. It's likegender fluidity, isn't it CJ. At
any given moment in time, dependingon your circumstances, you can declare that
you were one thing or another.I mean, isn't she really if I
can coin a term Jamasian? Right, she's Asian and Jamaican. And this
is where my part of my confusioncomes to. Barack Obama was a head,
had a mom who was white anda father was black, and he
(01:06:38):
always professed to he is a blackman. I don't care necessarily how you
label yourself, but at least thatAmber Rose woman is being honest when she
says she's biracial, because she's givencredit to having one white parent and one
black parent. That seems to bedefinitionally accurate anyway. But then again,
I'm not somebody who wants to putpeople in buckets based upon their racial identity.
(01:06:58):
And it is identity racism. It'snot actual sort of objective decision making
that goes on. I don't knowthis absolutely. And my children are biracial,
and let me tell you something.I tell them they're biracial. You're
biracial. You're not necessarily this orthat. You are you. And that
is something that we as Americans haveto understand, is that we are more
(01:07:23):
of a biracial nation today than weare of any other race. And we
need to accept that and own it. And I let my kids know,
like, hey, Barack Obaba.I may not agree with him politically,
but you know what, it canshow you that you can be successful as
a biracial individual in this country.Yes you can. You can be successful
(01:07:45):
regardless of your race, creed, racial identity, gender identity. Even you
can be successful. Look at allthe Biden administration appointees. You can be
across the entire spectrum, the entirespectrum. Appreciate it. I mean,
I just you know, I guessI'm more concerned or wondering about the content
of your character. Gee, canI go back to Martin Luther King Junior?
Content of character, which would includeyour political affiliation, your ideology,
(01:08:08):
how you treat other people. Maybeyour religion might factor into that, but
you know what, we don't livein a theocracy, so that shouldn't matter
to anybody. The religion someone practices. They can't in the United States of
America, shove it down your throat. So what ultimately matters when considering a
politician where they stand on the issues, period, end of story. What
they're going to do, what's thedirection of the country, that's the important
(01:08:29):
thing. What are they going tobe voting on? Doesn't matter what they
look like, damn it, becauseyou know what, some of the biggest
socialists out there are a bunch ofwhite people, and I don't want anything
to do with them. There yougo, isn't that the truth? All
these you know, I guess wearingtheir heart on their sleeve. Woke a
(01:08:50):
white suburban college educated women out therein the world. Anyhow, appreciate your
comments, CJ. I certainly do, just on a bit of a tear
this morning, because this kind ofstuff just really irks me. And you
know, that's what's dominating the newsthis morning. I'm staring at all this
important stuff going on in the world, and I bring this up because I
find it so utterly preposterous, absolutelypreposterous, and it is a major distraction,
(01:09:16):
but major distraction away from the stuffthat should really matter to everybody.
Going back to the contented character theissues, A read guy Benson's analysis,
don't ever think it. Republicans,The case against Kamala Harris is straightforward.
His point is none of us shouldbe dwelling on this kind of stuff.
We should be focusing on the issues. And her record speaks for itself.
(01:09:38):
Defunding the police, empowering criminals, ending private health insurance, forcing taxpayers to
fund illegal immigrant healthcare plans, decriminalizingillegal immigration, destroying the Senate filibuster to
pass the gazillion dollar Green New Deal, requiring taxpayers to fund elective abortion through
the nine to all nine months ofpregnancy, Whether terrorists like the Boston Marathon

bombers should have a right to vote, vote, It's all hardcore, harder
core left than Biden was ever manipulatedinto getting into. These are her positions
on her own. This isn't BarackObama whispering her ear telling her she needs
to go far left on this. This preceded her occupying the vice presidential residents.

we're there. Was probably Vegas oddson who was going to step down first.
Chidler Menendez anyway. Quote, Itake full responsibility for the security lapse
in a lot of recent events. It is with a heavy heart that I
have made the difficult decision to stepdown as your director. Well, it
shouldn't have been difficult. If history'sany guide, any human being who's been
in that position, he's had abreakdown like that, quits right away out

of embarrassment, out of respect forthe office, in an effort to rehabilitate
the office that you embarrassed, whichis hilarious. Get a load of this.
The Secret Service is hiring Wall Streetjournalists. How will the Secret Service
rebuild in the wake of this catastrophicfailure. The agency might argue that it's
(01:14:19):
striving to bulk up, adding personnelneeded to thwart assassins. On Monday,
however, the Secret Service advertised toopenings. The position can be found in
the US government's employment portal. Ifyou're looking for a job, it's USA
Jobs Joe. Those hired, we'vepaid one hundred and thirty nine three hundred
ninety five dollars annually. Why isit for concounter sniping, evasive driving?
(01:14:46):
Nope, lead public affairs specialist. Here's what they do. Public affairs specialists
monitor print and broadcast media for bothpositive and negative news coverage that translate the
basic communication intent of the Secret Serviceleadership into methods and techniques that could be
applied in standard and non standard publicaffairs programs. You got that, Joe,
I think you're qualified. Well, there you go, prioritizing the obviously
(01:15:16):
the role in the role of publicservice over the actual work that the Secret
Service should be doing, which isprotecting lives. Salaries for agents who do
protect lives and put their own liveson the line. You're ready. You
start at sixty three three and eightyone bucks, which is left than less
than half of what public affairs specialistsget paid. The journal point gasoline on
(01:15:40):
the fire. Although the Secret Serviceopened itself up to that criticism because they
just posted the two jobs available thereand in other Secret Service related news,
they have advised Donald Trump to stopholding or hold fewer outdoor rallies. That's
the answer to the problem and thebreakdown of the Secret Service. Wellday,
(01:16:00):
what just don't hold any rallies?Donald Trump's get some huge crowds. Partly
there was one hundred thousand people ata May event in Wildwood, New Jersey,
which is amazing considering it's New Jersey. Fifty thousand to fifty five thousand
at the July second rallying pick inSouth Carolina, obviously a huge turnout in
the one which almost resulted in DonaldTrump losing his life. And of course,
(01:16:21):
indoor events a lot safer because yougot to go through a limited number
of doorways where you can have magnetometersand checking people out. That all makes
sense, and I understand it,but I guess this is an acknowledgment.
The Secret Service is incapable of providingsufficient coverage for large crowds of people outdoors,
and obviously that translates over to thehigher offices as well. Six point

it is a distinct pleasure to haveyou on the program. Brian is
(01:17:55):
always good to be with you, sir. Remind my listeners about the Public
Interest Legal Foundation what it is youdo there real quick. Well, we
just fight for election intiquity, andwe've won a lot of cases that deal
with voted voting roles. We have, in fact, you know, we've
(01:18:16):
made it fight to make it easyto vote, hard to cheat. Love
hearing that and further the points we'retalking about today. Let's start with Kamala
Harris. It looks like a littlebit of cup to Taz going on there.
President Biden fought to keep his spot. He of course got the votes
in the primaries. There's fourteen pointfour million Democrats out there that went for
Joe Biden. They don't get whatthey wanted. This is and for the
(01:18:40):
party that attacks Donald Trump as beingthe anti democratic guy and someone who's a
threat to the very foundation of ourbeing. It looks as if though the
Democrats doing it again, because ithappened before. To Bernie Sanders ask him
about it, they do whatever thehell they want. What's your reaction to
this, Well, I've been upclose and personally I know that the cabal
(01:19:01):
that runs the DNC our masters atgreen lighting. Okay, they will in
fact use projection, They will projecton us what they are actually doing.
And so you know, I thinkthere's a little bit more transparency than they
want it. But they accomplished theirgo to sort of kick Joe to the
(01:19:28):
curb and appoint the queen. Well, I love the way you phrase that.
A little bit more transparent than theywanted anyhow, but she is Do
you believe that she was? Likeif you were in the Democrats side of
the camp, and I know that'stough for you to do, to put
yourself in that position. But isshe their best bet? I know they're
stuck with her. We get thewhole female, black woman of color,
(01:19:50):
whatever arguments, and they can't getrid of her because it's going to make
them look like what they accuse theRepublicans of being. But she is as
far left as anybody in the DemocratA Party. Well, yeah she is.
I mean she is the most radicalpresidential candidate that we've seen in my
lifetime. The other thing that ishard for them to escape is that she
(01:20:16):
is tied at the hip to allof the bad Biden Harris policies that American
voters are going to come out andpush against, whether it's our open border,
whether it's voters without borders, whetherit's prices or groceries and gas.
I mean, she just can't untangleherself from those bad, unpopular policies.
(01:20:42):
But they will, in fact tryto again change the mix of voters who
turn out. They're going to leanin. They're going to try to plug
up the holes among minorities and theyoung people that Biden was experiencing. But
(01:21:02):
our job is to make sure thatfolks understand that she was the borders are
and therefore she owns, the failedpolicies, the open borders, the influx
of not only bad drugs, butbad people. And that is not saying
(01:21:26):
that every every alien who came acrossthe border illegally as a innately bad person.
But I can tell you what, there have been a lot of bad
people who have crossed the border.Yes, were in fact doing ready to
break havoc in our American constitutional republicwithout question. And you can't point to
(01:21:51):
a better political argument for the Republicanside because the Republicans obviously are campaigning on
a secure border. Donald Trump atleast has four years of demonstrating the border
can be far more secure than ithas been for the past three and a
half. It's Blue Democrat cities constituentsthat are pulling their hair out over the
living the reality of this influx. They are running out of resources. The
(01:22:15):
things that they seek from government, these Blue Democrat voters are being taken away
from them because there's only a finiteamount of dollars and it's all going to
service the immigrant community. That's alosing argument for them. You're absolutely right,
right, Let me just put onmy political analysts had Yeah, I
go into Fox and your show andothers to give a political perspective. I
(01:22:40):
talk to a lot of the leadingposters in the country and whether it's McLaughlin,
Resmusin and others. What we doknow and we can't change this reality
is that President Trump has a highfloor and a low and a low siling.
(01:23:05):
What she has is a high floorand her ceiling because of all of
the apparatus she has on her side, is not quite as low as as
the US as President Trump's. So, you know, I tried to concient
(01:23:26):
folks on our side to say thisis not going to be an eighty four
Reagan light blowout and where we wentout, this is going to be a
hand to hand political battle in fiveto seventh states at the precinct level,
and so we can't lose. Youknow, we had a successful convention,
(01:23:47):
we have great candidates, but we'restill in a very big fight where where
it really turns on uh turnout andmake ensure that we have eyeballs in every
precinct across the country, but particularlyin the five to seven states and the
(01:24:09):
key nineteen counties where this election canbe won or lost within very tight margins.
So advice to my Republican listeners.Obviously is get out and vote and
spread the word that everyone needs toget out and vote. But in terms
of arguing over the politics of this, over the benefits of Trump, over
Harris, we need to focus onthe issues. We need not focus on
(01:24:31):
the giggling and the word sounds thatshe comes up with. That's got some
milogy and it's demonstras of who sheis as a human being in her ability
to actually speak on the issues onthe fly, but more fundamentally her record.
We can run on her record.Oh absolutely, Again, I will
repeat she is tied to the hipof the filling economic policies. She is,
(01:24:55):
in fact the green new deal ofthe mountains of red tape. Uh.
The regulations that they want to puton on enterprise and and and stifled
growth. Uh. And when youstifle growth and job creation of meaningful,
well paying jobs. You heard theworking middle class in America. Uh.
(01:25:16):
And I would just say uh toanybody who is uh embraced as America as
an opportunity society. Uh. VicePresident Harris Uh, the running mate uh,
the co palate of the Biden mess. It's not your friend. Amen
to that? And can you imaginea Harris sort of Pritzker type tick and
(01:25:40):
what that would mean to America.Lord Almighty Ken Blackwell, I used to
live in Chicago, Man, Iknow about the Pritzker family. Uh well,
let me know. Yeah, letme let me visit. Pivot up
real quickly here to jd vance. Now he was selected as the vice presidential
running for Trump under different circumstances. Now the circumstances changed and it's president or
(01:26:01):
Harris running for president. Does thatchange the dynamic in the race? Is
it? Does that make Levance alesser of choices? Or could there be
somebody better? Or we still we'restill on solid ground. I think we're
I think we're still on solid, solid solid ground. Uh. You know,
one, he can prosecute the caseagainst her and the Biden Harris uh
(01:26:26):
policy mess. Uh as well asanybody uh in in in the country.
Uh. He in fact, isa particularly effective candidate uh in uh Michigan,
Wisconsin. Uh And Uh, Ithink he's very effective out in Arizona.
But you know, Pennsylvania. Wehe's going to be the guy making
(01:26:50):
making the case. It's going tobe fascinating. I Mean, the the
one pick up that they might haveis that I just think he would have
blown hairs out of the water anda vice presidential debate. They probably will,
They probably will improve their their theircompetitor. But I still think he's
(01:27:12):
He's bright, he's energetic, he'sarticulate. He comes with a life experience
that a lot of folks can relateto. Amen that and Ken Blackwell,
very briefly, I know you're outof time before we part company. Today,
the Democrats keep bringing up on afederal election level the issue of abortion,
and everybody's outspoken on it. ButI keep screaming at the top of
my lungs. The Supreme Court hassaid this is not within the confines of
(01:27:34):
the Constitution. It is extra constitutional. It's Tenth Amendment stuff. It belongs
to the states. Now, shouldn'tfederal level candidates keep throwing that back in
anybody's face who talks about a federalban, because the Supreme Court would find
that unconstitutional based on this the rulingover turning Roe v. Wade. Yeah,
the way I've placed it in thein arguments, if that one,
(01:27:59):
we have to understand that now it'sthe time to embrace the hearts at the
precinct, the local level, thecommunity level, with the family. At
the state level, we in facthave to understand that we spent over fifty
years fighting to make sure that wegot a Supreme Court that could give us
(01:28:23):
a decision like the one that wegot. So now let's not wring our
hands and waste our time that's engaged. And what happens, Brian, is
that making this case at the stateand county level plays into our strategy of
winning this at the precinc and countyand state level. There you go at
(01:28:46):
the state level, Ken Blackwell,God bless you, surf to spending time

(01:32:14):
The answer, according to CNN isno. Got. A new CNN pull
indicated that nearly forty This is aninsane figure. Forty percent of the United
States adults are constantly or frequently worriedthat their family's income will not cover their
expenses, described as a notable risefrom December twenty one, when only twenty
eight percent of adults had the sameconcerns. That will be the inflation problem

card debt to cover necessities, andthirty five percent of taken extra work or
a second job. Are those numbersgood for Democrats? I know it's always
easy to blame any given administration forthe problems of the country facing on an
(01:33:28):
economic level. Quite often over theyears, at least, it's been my
experience that you really can't point toany single or thing any given administration has
done. But in this particular case, you can. Coming off the pandemic.
The Democrats poured gasoline on the inflationaryfire by pumping in additional trillions of
dollars into the economy. Running theprinting press is inflationary. It's simple,
(01:33:53):
absolute economic fact. This is notdebatable. It's fact. We've got a
million illustrations over the world's history ofcountries who have tried doing that running the
printing press and have run themselves outof existence. But one of the problems
you face before you run yourself outof existence is inflation. You know,
(01:34:13):
like one hundred thousand percent inflation. You know, the Zimbabwean currency with billion
dollar notes to buy a loaf ofbread, and even that won't cut it.
You know, it seems like it'san impossibility. Oh my god.
The United States fiat currency, it'sthe most reliable. Blah blah blah.
Yeah it may be, but it'sthe best looking ugly person in the group.
(01:34:34):
Just because we're perceived is better andmore reliable doesn't mean we're on a
trajectory that's sustainable. We clearly arenot. But in the meantime, we're
living the inflationary realities brought to you. In large part, I would argue
by the Biden administrations pouring again gasolineon an inflationary fire. Use that as
an argument against folks who might wantto continue down the same path a lah
(01:34:56):
Kamala Harris seven twenty five fifty fivekres of the talk station. Affordable imaging
can be affordable speaking of the economyand things that are expensive. Imaging at
a hospital is by definition expensive.I think you can say objectively, five
thousand dollars for any procedure at ahospital seems outrageous, doesn't it. But
when you're talking about a CT scan, I mean seriously five grand. No,
(01:35:17):
it's four hundred and fifty dollars.A CT scan with a contrast is
six hundred dollars. That's if yougo to Affordable Imaging Services MRIs with the
contrast are six hundred and forty five. You may pay thirty five hundred dollars
or even more at a hospital, and you know what, You may get
more than one bill. You getthe imaging bill, You get a separate
bill for the Board Certified radiologist report. You may get a separate bill for
(01:35:40):
something else. One price, lowincludes all, every includes everything. In
other words, no ups, noextras, Like Earl Shib used to say
so. Six hundred dollars gets youthe imaging with the with the contrast and
the board certified radiologist report for aCT scan. I have listeners who let
me know they have saved literally thousandsof dollars out of their own pockets.
(01:36:00):
So call them up. You havea choice when it comes to your medical
care. It's Affordable Imaging Services atfive one three seven, five three eight

(01:36:27):
got some local stories to dive onINTI, but if you prefer, feel
free to call. Got some topicit's on your mind? Maybe the US
Secret Service director finally bowing out it. See it's hilarious. Bob Menendez beat
her to the punch. Anyway,I didn't drag it out much longer.
The well, the end was obviouslyin everyone's headlights, so drug it out
(01:36:47):
a little bit too long, reducingher credibility to zero. Over to the
local stories. One thousands of studentsat Lakota High School. Well, they're
facing higher fees this year. Apparentlythe COVID money's run out. And Butler
kind of code the local school districtrecently finalized as plan for the return of
instructional fees, higher breakfast than lunchprices, and an increase for pay to
(01:37:11):
participate things like band and sports cordto their treasurer quota by Fox nineteen.
We've been picking up the fees throughESSER funds, which are the federal pandemic
relief money that came to an end. Anyway, them passing along. Those
are passing along the benefit of theseser funds for the last four years,
he said. We initially planned doingthat three years, but stretched it into
the fourth year. That was becausethey got a sizable chunk of cash from
(01:37:33):
these SER funds. Districts got sixpoint five billion dollars across the Ohio,
which, going back to my commentearlier about throwing cash at a problem lit
inflationary reality. Anyway, La Codagot just over twenty million dollars treasures zincs
to the money had allowed them topick up the cost of all school supplies
(01:37:55):
issuing identical kids for all students overthe past few years, depending on grade
level. Parents now going to beasked to foot the bill with return of
instructional fees ranging anywhere between forty fiveand seventy nine dollars. Also, fees
to participate in extracurricular activities sports marching, band, color guard, et cetera.
Those are increasing, going from onefifty to two hundred and twenty five
(01:38:15):
dollars for students in junior high andfrom two hundred to three hundred dollars for
high schoolers with cap for families zincagain talking to Fox nineteen's part of this,
part of that has become kind ofthe demand for the level of performance
we have within all our programs. The cost of supplemental contracts have gone up
with inflation. Oh there's that peskyword again. That's made us take a
(01:38:36):
harder look at how much is goinginto this. So here you go.
As far as the school breakfast isconcerned, now a bucks seventy five instead
of the previous dollar fifty, lunchesgoing up to three dollars across the board.
They didn't report on what it usedto be. Treasurers think said there
is help available for families facing financialhardship with free and reduced meals and school
(01:38:59):
fee waivers, but without the pandemicmoney to cushion the budget. These fee
increases are the best solutions so thetaxpayers are not forced to foot the bill.
So say at ZINC, we spendevery day diligently trying to manage every
penny that we have coming into thedistrict to try to maximize the dollars.
We have more information on the schoolwebsite. If you're a Lakota parent and
you want more information, head onover there. Got Springfield Police Department announcing

a huge out of pocket liability. So why am I spending all that monthly

because he confirmed that during this Smitherevent on Monday. I was kind

I was thinking Adam Kaylor might bethere because he's been to listening to

and I think it would be importantfor her to get out there,
get her name out there. OfCourse, anybody else that wants to show
up is invited, but those arejust two that came to mind. And
of course Jim Neil. Jim Neildemonstrably better than what we're dealing with right
now. He's got a record torun on too, and a really solid
(01:44:18):
and good man. If you've nevermet Jim Neil, I strongly encourage you
to just walk up to him andshake hands. He is easily approachable and
a genuinely quality human being, andsomeone who I think has a really good
firm grasp for the job and howit's supposed to be done. And somebody
who's probably not going to get theirfirearms stolen from them. Just saying anyway,
(01:44:38):
you know, it seems like that, you know, everybody's embracing Kamala
Harris. You look at the numbers, the amount of money that float in
in a moment's time, It istruly amazing. I got to give her
credit what one hundred million dollars overthe course of two days, and you
think, oh my god, we'reup against tough odds. Elon Musk now
saying it was widely, that widereport about him donating forty five million dollars
(01:45:00):
every month between now and the electionof the Republicans. He said, that's
wrong. No, I did notcommit to do that. I'm not quite
sure where that backpedaling comes from, but apparently it was misreported. So that
looks concerning by way of contrast tothe money that Kamala Harris has brought in.
But I kind of look at itmaybe in a slightly different way.
It looks like wonderful, wild enthusiasmand oh my god, thank god,
(01:45:21):
we've got Kamala Harris running now,it's awesome. What maybe when you're only
considering compared to Joe Biden, whoeveryone is now painfully aware of is cognitively
impaired. So gee, I canunderstand that they are free of the burden
of Joe Biden, but they gotthe burden of Kamala Harris. But they
(01:45:44):
haven't yet fully appreciated that. Andthat's why I keep talking this morning about
we need to run on issues, issues, issues issues. Her record is
so far left and so horrific forthe country if these policies continue. Going
back to my comment about inflation,he's got a program and plan to ease
everybody suffering across the board. Ah, free education, free stipend every month,
(01:46:08):
free this healthcare for every single man, woman, and child. Even
know what these policies would cost ifthey actually were implemented. I mean,
the CBO has crunched the numbers onthese. The figures are mind boggling.
They were already at this moment intime on an unsustainable trajectory. We know
that the pumping of trillions of dollarsinto the economy had an inflationary impact that
everyone is reeling with. Going backto the CNN analysis on how people can't
(01:46:30):
even pay their bills, and she'sgoing to double down on that or at
least continue down that path. Buttheir enthusiasm because they got rid of Biden
is what we're experiencing right now.And you see the posts on Facebook.
Oh my god, I'm with herand all this. Listen, you're only
with her because she's not Joe Biden, but you're with her now and her
(01:46:54):
policies, and you're going to haveto run on them and defend them and
justify them. Couple of polls nowout, Oh my god, Reuter's zipso's
poll. Harris leads Trump by twopoints. Yeah, that's true, but
look behind the veneer of that onesingle poll that has her out front.
Harris leads Trump forty four to fortytwo in the national poll three percent margin
(01:47:15):
of error. Yet the sampling fourhundred and twenty six Democrats, three hundred
and seventy six Republicans and three hundredand forty one independence m a little bit
lopsided. So you can take thatone with a grain of salt and then,
(01:47:35):
oh my god, don't pivot overto the other pole that we got
out. Quinnipiac poll published Monday findsit forty five percent of registered voters back
Trump over the broad field. Nowthat's if you include Kennedy and the Green
candidate and the and the Libertarian candidate. That's forty five over Harris's forty one.
Although she leads Biden or she leadsTrump by a point just with the
(01:47:57):
head to head race. But whenyou look down further behind the veneer of
that, look at the independence poll, Trump has a considerable lead over Harris
in that field of independence of respondence. In the eighteen to thirty four demographic,
forty seven go with Trump, twentynine for Harris, also beating Harris
by fifteen points in the thirty fiveto forty nine age group. Harris has
(01:48:21):
a ten point lead with voters agedaged fifty five or fifty to sixty four,
and among those sixty five and older. So I find that figure hard
to believe as well. And maybethat's because the lie that Donald Trump wants
to end or get rid of socisSecurity has come home to roost. I
(01:48:41):
don't know, but any politician whodenies that Social Security or any of the
other enttitement programs need to be welldealt with because they are running out of
money. You've got to do something. At some point. We elect our
officials to manage affairs properly, notjust for the moment in time, but
(01:49:03):
for the future as well. Andevery single administration since I've been alive has
let down the American people in sofar as at least social Security has concerned.
You know, there's poll after pollafter poll out there. Economically speaking,
there are so many seniors. Itwas a poll I read even yesterday
(01:49:23):
about baby boomers who have all reachednow retirement age are getting very close to
it, and what a huge percentageof them have nothing to run on,
nothing to live on. Except socialsecurity. Now you get a poll that
comes out and says seniors are goingto lean Harris. Maybe that's because they
see the well the problem facing themand oh my god, evil Orange man
is going to take my social securityaway from me. I don't think he
(01:49:44):
said that. He's one of thepoliticians that says he's not going to touch
the third rail of politics. Well, what's going to be done about it?
Don what's going to be done aboutit? Kamala some forty six.

Good morning, Brian. Can youhear me over? Yes, I
can continue prayers for the Thomas family. Thank you, brother. Maybe you
can help me out with this asusual, I don't understand why certain people
(01:52:53):
even get a modicum of popularity. The Obamas, both of them, Paris
and Biden will throw them in.They're, you know, saying something idiotic
once in a while, God knowsI do it. But when you do
things that bear your soul and yourlack of intellectual capacity, those are the
(01:53:15):
things I look for when I vote. You know, I guess you can
sum it up in a thing calledintegrity. And I didn't like Joe Biden
way back in the day with theClarence Thomas things, so we would never
see eyed eye when he was healthy. I didn't like him. Just your
thoughts agreed, Well, isn't itthe culture personality. I mean, we
(01:53:35):
elevate people, we elect people, and then you know, like if you're
part of the left wing cabal, then the media elevates you to this lofty
status of you know, wonderful andyou know, bulletproof and I know pun
intended there, but it's a culturepersonality. They're willing to overlook all the
flaws. They will not illustrate orhighlight the points that you were looking for,
integrity, content of character, infavor of just continuing to elevate someone
(01:53:59):
who is in their political camp.I mean, you know, we all
elevated Ronald Reagan to a level ofculture personality, but we had good reason
to do it because he was successfulat what he did. He turned the
country around from the train wreck thatCarter had left us, demonstrated that character
and that quality that's you know,he's the tef line guy. He was
a wonderful public speaker, he wasinspirational, He had all the qualities of
(01:54:20):
a politician and a leader that we'relooking for. You don't find that in
a lot of these candidates, inthese individuals, even on the right wing
side of the Ledger. Of course, we've got those as well. But
once they've been elevated, it's thatname recognition. We're all willing to blindly
just continue to support them and continueto vote them back into office. Why
well, because they got the partynomination, because well, they're that guy
(01:54:43):
or that gal that has the namerecognition. They're the ones that people have
been talking about for so long.Oh I recognize that name here. Let
me vote for that person. Culturepersonality, that's all I can come up
with. Doesn't stop you or mefrom doing a thoughtful, critical analysis,
and that's extraordinarily important. It's oneof the things they're not teaching children in
school these days, is that criticalthinking skill that so many of my listeners
(01:55:06):
thankfully have. We see who's next, Joe. That's Jay. Thanks for
calling this morning and for holding there. Welcome to the program. Hey,
thanks Brian. Hey, I'm scaredthat we may have been at a tipping
point. That happened about four yearsago when Trump lost to Biden and everybody
(01:55:26):
said, can never happen. Biden'sa full he's a bumbling idiot, he's
can't possibly win this election, andthen he won. And I know there
was a lot of I believe thatthere was a lot of indiscretion on how
they counted the votes in the electionprocess and everything else. But when fifty
percent of the country doesn't pay incometax, I think the generation after generation
(01:55:53):
has always been concerned that there willcome a day in this country where there
would be enough people that would bebought by the Democrat Party that they would
no longer be thinking about what's thepolicy or the direction required, who's the
best candidate based on policy direction andwhat they're going to do for this country.
Instead it gets into what does itmean to me in my pocketbook?
(01:56:14):
What do you like Rushland boggers tosay? What you're going to give me?
It doesn't and we used to thinkthat it was, you know,
just social welfare programs and things likethat, which are certainly don't help.
But you know, I've talked topeople that were farmers in Arkansas who were
Hillary Clinton supporters, deep red state, but because of the Farm Bill,
(01:56:36):
they're willing to vote Democrat. PPPhandouts that came to business owners that didn't
need it, on and on andon you go down the line. I
think we may be to the pointwhere Kamala can go into the to go
into the basement, just like Joedid, just like Hillary did. Remember
the debates no longer matter where they'rebecoming less and less about a candidate getting
(01:57:00):
up and talking about where they're goingto go. They've learned it's best just
to shut up and disappear. Andthat started with Hillary, that started before
Joe. And they will still getelected. So we can talk about she's
a bumbling idiot and nobody likes her. That can all be true, and
she could still get elected because we'vehit the tipping point in this country where
people are more concerned about getting acheck in the mailbox or the abortion.
(01:57:24):
It's either legalized stuff from fellow Americancitizens that I can take what you made
to put it into my pocket. For the abortion issue, it's one of
those two. And I think wemay have reached a point where we're over
that fifty percent threshold, which meanswe have a completely different American and reality
on our hands. Well, Iput aside real quick, I'm out of
(01:57:44):
time. I put aside the abortionissue because more than fifty percent of Americans
believe in some form of abortion,so ignoring that social issue and recognizing it
is a state issue now not afederal issue. It is because we are
shortsighted, and we are self interested. We are immediately we are an instant
gratification society, and we apparently collectivelyno longer care about the future of the
country, which is why I keepgoing back to the reckless spending. Not
(01:58:06):
only as an inflation and it hasa real time effect on us now,
but it is going to destroy thecountry in the long run. Most people
are just like, well, screwit. By the time the destrength of
country's destroyed from our overspending. BecauseI have my hand in the cookie jar,
I'm going to be dead. Sogive me mine now. The hell
with my children, grandchildren, etcetera. Appreciate the call. Jay gotta

Rick and safe travels. To you, it is amazing, Brian, But
it is still happening. Oh no, happening today. Oh no. Well
we'll have I Heart media aviation expertJay Ratliffe on Thursday to talk about that
rack. Nineteen sixty eight a really, really pivotal year for United States.
I mean I immediately gravitate to gravitateto the nineteen sixty eight convention, of
(02:00:21):
course, because it was a majorleague disaster for the Democrats, police and
riot gears, skulls getting crack protesterseverywhere. But your book is I guess
described as a deep dive into thewhole entire year. You do it month
by month, correct, do itmonth by month, but it is pivotal
(02:00:42):
to take a look at what's goingon right now, Brian, and understand
the similarities that are going on betweenwhat you just mentioned the Democratic Convention in
nineteen sixty eight in Chicago as itwill be again and what's happening now,
because you're looking at a convention whereside the convention the people were chanting,
(02:01:02):
as you said, Hebburg getting batchedin Chicago, and people were standing outside
shouting the whole world's watching. I'mwondering this year whether or not the whole
world will be watching, or thewhole world will be searching Netflix to see
what's on besides the convention. Youknow, that's a really valid point because
one of the points I wrote downon my notes that been talking to talk
(02:01:24):
with you. We live in acompletely different universe than nineteen sixty eight.
For if for no other reason, then we've got the Internet. And I
say that because organizing people in nineteensixty eight required you know, mailing and
flyers and the normal kind of preInternet outreach that you think of making telephone
call. So if you remember thefree speech movement, the Students for Democrat
(02:01:46):
Society, or Vietnam anti Vietnam groupsof ones for not, if you want
your people to show up at aconvention, you're going to have to reach
out to them, let them knowwhere to be, when to be.
But you have a do it manually. Now you can do a blast text
to the entire world, and youcan communicate with the entire world instantaneously.
It's going to be interesting to seeif that actually happens in Chicago this time,
(02:02:08):
because there are still lingering issues verysimilar to nineteen sixty eight that can
could galvanize people to come to theconvention, not the least of which you
know. Linda Johnson got out ofthe presidential race in nineteen sixty eight for
(02:02:29):
numerous reasons, however, the mostimportant one being his party not liking the
way he was handling the Vietnam War. But you have a very similar situation
happening right here. As the DemocraticParty is split on how President Biden has
handled Gaza. You have a verybig wing of the Democratic Party that is
(02:02:49):
pro Palestinian. You have, youknow, I don't know if it's split
down the middle, but there iscertainly a pro Israel pulp pro Palestine divide
in the Democratic Party. Will thatlead to any student protest outside? Hard
to tell you, Well, itsounds likely that it will. But again
(02:03:09):
taking the wind out of the protesters'sales, Lyndon Johnson, I choose not
to accept the nomination of the party. It turned into an open convention,
so there was a legitimate, atleast on its face, a legitimate reason
to get out there and make anargument for your side of the case.
If you're anti Vietnam, you're goingto be in favor of an anti Vietnam
(02:03:30):
candidate on the other side of thelegend, and there may have been a
pro Vietnam candidate, and they obviouslythere's something to buy a debate and fight
about. Kamala Harris has been anointedand if things continue down this path,
and the screams and cries of evenamong folks like Black Lives Matter, who
are very upset with the process, but you're going in with Kamala Harris as
the nominee. The delegates have alreadysaid we're in favor of her. She's
got enough. She's got twenty ninehundred of them as of yesterday, which
(02:03:54):
is enough to secure the nomination. So she's effectively taken the wind out of
the open convention sales, leading reallyto nothing to protest about. Perhaps well,
one of the things to remember here, Brian, is that Hubert Humphrey
and Kamala Harris have one very importantthing in common, and that is neither
(02:04:14):
of them won a primary. Now, Humphrey went into the process with a
whole bunch of delegates, but allof those delegates were through the old coronation
process of the parties. Republicans ofthem press both where they would have caucuses
as opposed to primaries to determine delegatecounts. Humphrey, because of it being
(02:04:39):
the old party rule, got hisdelegates by going to conventions and caucuses and
closed doors, smoke filled rooms. He did not win a single not a
single primary needed it. Harris. Now, the interesting thing is both parties
are the one thing that ties ittogether to is in sixty eight and in
(02:05:01):
twenty four, both candidates both partieshave to deal with some guy named Robert
Kennedy. In sixty eight it wasthe convention was the ghost of Robert Kennedy
and where the anti war movement went, And this time it's with Robert Kennedy
(02:05:21):
Junior, and where the anti vaxmovement goes ah see anti vaxx movement.
I don't didn't ever perceive it asbeing that large in terms of a movement
like that's going to get people offthe couch. You know, Robert F.
Kennedy and his being anti vax.Do you think there's going to be
a contingent of anti vax folks inChicago this year? I think Robert Kennedy
(02:05:44):
Junior pulls people from both sides ofthe aisle and pulls them into this personal
privacy stage that both parties have aninterest in. And I think whether it's
ten percent, whether it's fifteen percent, when you get down to the bottom
of it, it's still going tohave an impact, huh. And that's
because people are more in favor ofRobert of Kennedy Jenner than they are of
(02:06:06):
Kamala Harris from maybe Donald Trump. But he's not going to be on the
ballot anywhere is he he is Heis on several ballots as in several of
the states. And that's one ofthe big differences between sixty eight and twenty
four is that in sixty eight youhad a third party candidate in George Wallace.
(02:06:28):
But George Wallace actually had a strategyto try and win the presidency.
Wallace's strategy was hoped hoping that allof the segregationist Democrats who were very,
very pissed off at Linda Johnson forthe Civil Rights Act and the Fair Housing
Act, that they would vote forhim and that he would get enough delegates
(02:06:49):
to be able to throw it intothe House of Representatives where the anti segregationist
Democrats would throw it them to Wallaceto be president. Now, the one
thing that happened in that case wasthat Wallace's own ego kept him from doing
that because he thought he could winthe country. But you look at Robert
(02:07:11):
Kennedy. He's only on ballot anda couple of a handful of states.
Yeah, and he really doesn't havea plan to become president, just a
plan to become a thorn in theside. Well, that may be his
best role, at least as ofright now. It's relegated to that role.
Apparently there are some discussions going onbetween he and the Trump campaign as
(02:07:34):
to whether or not there is aplace for him in the Trump administration.
Well, I guess do you thinkthat many in the Democrats would be that
he would be the secretary of braineating worms? Fair enough? Rick is
known for his humor. By theway, folks and read his books.
(02:07:54):
Well what if Kamala Harris? Though? Do you think there are many within
the Democrat Party? Again? Ilooked up and point to the Black Lives
Matter posts and they are really irkedat this coronation of Kamala Harris. They
want a democratic process, They tellthe Democratic Party they look like a party
of hypocrites. Do you think thereare many within Democrat camp who feel that
way about this railroad job that weseem to be facing right now. Again,
(02:08:18):
I would point to history if youtake a look at when in sixty
eight they went through a democratic processbut still coronated at Hubert Humphrey, yeah,
the vice president, to become thenominee. They came out of convention
with no chance whatsoever for Hubert Humphortto be President of the United States.
(02:08:39):
None. It was in such disarray, such disarray that in sixty eight they
change the rules of the convention towhat is very similar to what is taking
place right now. And I thinkthe Democrats the only chance for having a
chance is to go into convention withthe candidate and to move forward that way.
(02:09:03):
Would a lot of the Democrats liketo see a democratic process, I
believe they would. But the factof the matter is if you get into
a floor fight and you showed disarray, you're going to have another nineteen sixty
eight, a suber country coming outand not having a chance in in a
blue state to win well. AndI guess the larger looming question is can
(02:09:24):
Kamal Harris run on her well onher policies. She has a record that
we can all point to, andshe was previously identified as the most liberal
senator that was elected, I mean, and a whole slew of very very
left leaning, large social programs thatcost literally billions, if not trillions of
dollars. I mean, that's herrecord, That's who she is as a
candidate. I'm just wondering whether thegreater population can abide this continued further further
(02:09:48):
left wing shift in the country. You're exactly on point, Brian, in
that I think, much like nineteensixty eight, this is going to go
much more toward policies than personalities.Let's face it, if Richard Nixon would
have had to run on his personality, he would have ended up like he
(02:10:11):
did in the rate for governor. And it's not having him to kick around
anymore, understood. But it wentto policies against Humphrey, who you know.
I thought it was interesting at thetime, and going back and doing
the research, Humphrey actually didn't evenhave the support of the progressive side of
his party. They didn't think hewas liberal enough. Yeah, And which
is interesting because at the time Ithought you were Humphy were probably the most
(02:10:35):
liberal person that had ever been nominatedfor president, and that is, you
know, leads you to a positionof going you know, you're right,
this could be more about policy thanit is personality. Well, the cutoff
for baby members is nineteen sixty four, which means they were four years old
the youngest of them in nineteen sixtyeight for the convention. We have a
(02:10:56):
different landscape now. The youngest ofthe baby boomers are now turning sixty this
year, getting closer to retirement. As we move forward, this huge bubble
of baby boomers and their aging population. How do you think that's going to
impact the election? Because I knowsocial security is a real problem for America
generally, and people who are onSocial Security don't want any of it cut
(02:11:16):
in any way, shape or form. So that represents a sizeable voting block
in so far as that one issueis concerned. Absolutely, the number one
issue is going to be the election. We you and I need more handicapped
lines at the voting booths because we'reall going to be going there in walkers
and wheelchairs, all of us shimmers. But the thing that will be happening
(02:11:39):
is you're right. The whole ideaof if you're going to cut spending,
you have to cut entitlements. Ohyou know what, I'm a lot less
for that now that I'm entitlement age. Yeah, and I was when I
who was twenty five. Yeah.My mom is sixty or eighty four,
and she sees the writing on theat least she perceives the demise of our
(02:12:00):
country down the road because of thedirection we're going, and she's like,
well, at least I won't bearound to live through it. And I
think that's the attitude of a lotof baby boomers in so far as social
security is concerned. Yeah, BarryGoldwater wrote the Coming Breakpoint, and it
might have been around sixty eight whereshe projected that cecial security was donno tate
it could not be maintained throughout thehistory of the country. And it turns
(02:12:26):
out he was right. Of course, there's never been any change to it,
never, and only confirmed over andover and over again with every CBO
report on the status of social securitysince his observations way back in sixty eight.

Jeff, you are a true patriot. Patriot, you're second line behind Nick,
who's been on hold. Nick, thanks for calling this morning, Welcome
to the program. Hi, Brian, how are you doing. I am
doing as well as can be expectedunder the circumstances, which are interesting times.
Well, thank you for having meon your show. And I was
on a few months ago when Iwas talking about my book Our God Given
Freedom. But one of the drumbeats that was going on in nineteen sixty
(02:14:41):
eight is still going on today. It's the drum beat against the Second Amendment
and against people like you who supportthe Second Amendment and the Democrats. After
all the violence that was going onin nineteen sixty eight, what they did
was they passed a gun control bill, and they talked about what a great
thing that was passing this gun control. Well, now Democrats are talking about
(02:15:03):
what's being done in violent language.Just a few days before Trump was shot
that Joe Biden said, it's timeto stop talking about the debate. It's
time to put a bulls eye onDonald Trump. Yes, sir, and
and low and behold, Yes,they just they they want to they want
(02:15:24):
to stop gun rights. They wantto stop having having us have our rights
to hold a gun. And andand you know they're using this everything that
they're using, everything they're doing, they're using this as an excuse. Well,
in order to achieve that objective, they're going to have to change the
current state of the law, whichis that is an individual right. The
second one belongs to us as individuals, and we are entitled to exercise it.
(02:15:48):
So say at the Supreme Court. It was a different legal landscape back
then, and they could get awaywith passing bans and gun control. Now
they've got to survive Supreme Court scrutinyunder the current test, which is a
massive challenge for them. Frustrated theymay be, but they're going to have
to ultimately change the law for that. I don't see that happening anytime soon.
But that doesn't mean they're not goingto continue to fight for that.
(02:16:09):
That's one of the reasons why theywant to pack the Supreme Court. After
swearing an oath to uphold the UnitedStates Constitution, including the Second Amendment,
they don't ever qualify when they're swearingallegiance to the Constitution when they're sworn in,
now do they? But as soonas they're sworn in, they immediately
attack the Constitution. Well, yougot a bit more of a challenge these
days. It's like I keep goingback to the abortion issue. They're going
to scream about it, but it'sno longer a federal question. It's in
(02:16:33):
the hands of voters in the variousstates. A twenty six patriot, Jeff,
hang on, brother, I'll getyou right out of the gate.
As soon as they come back. After mentioning Colin Electric, Andrew Cullen and
them great electricians, at Color Electric. They are, of course journeyman electricians

service, and they will do thenknob and tube wiring replacement, the illumined

small projects like installing a can lightor multiple outlet installations. When it comes

prognosis for this country when things likethis happened? What's happening? What happens
next? Man, I don't evenknow what to say. What's happening in
our in our country anymore? Expectsun believable, the unexpected, expect what
is happening? And how the peoplehave been to see her? Whose country?
Fifty five krs the talk station. This is the Hey thirty one,
(02:18:13):
but you I have kr C thetalk station. Well today, I'm thank
you got here in the day ninenice captain. If you're never behind a

Joe, I thought this is ourwildfire theme song anyway. Enjoying the variations

always enjoy hearing from Jeff and thankyou for holding over the break there,
Jeff, welcome back. Hey Brian, As always you and Joe are true
(02:19:01):
patriots, Buddy. Always love hearingthat my friend. Thanks. Yeah,
I just I don't know. Idon't want to take anything for granted,
but as far as I know, every one of my Democrat friends are way
light in the wallet, and that'sthe one place you never hit a Democrat.
So I am just phenomenally surprised byany of these supposed, you know,
(02:19:30):
election surveys and stuff that say that, you know, any that Trump
is not ahead in almost every field. And and I think that with the
craziness that's going on now, withthe border and and our wallets shrinking and
shrinking and shrinking, I'm just amazedthat anyone can say that Trump is going
(02:19:52):
to win. Well, okay,And this goes back to, you know,
don't don't take anything for granted. Now I agree with you there,
and what I observe, and Ithink others have observed, you know,
this quick influx of one hundred milliondollars into the Kamala Harris coffers, and
oh the online support and oh mygod, there's a couple of polls out
that shows she's ahead by a pointor two. That's post you know,
(02:20:15):
shift over away from Biden exuberance.I think that's the vast majority of Democrats
sort of the exhaling that they're relievethat they don't have the baggage Joe Briden
had and the obvious outcome of theelection, which is we all know,
Joe Biden is toast. He isnot going to be president. That makes
Kamala Harris automatically the next president byvoting for Biden. That's a terrible place
to be. Oh look, that'snot an issue for us anymore. Exhale
(02:20:37):
collective sigh of relief and oh mygod, here I'll write a check.
And because I hate Trump, neveroverlooked the fact that there's that built in
over seven years, give or takehatred, so many people literally hate him.
The name sends shivers down their spineand evokes, you know, red
faces and anger that's still there. That's one thing you cannot deny. Left
(02:21:01):
wing media has a built in reactionmechanism. So many people, including some
Republicans, that as soon as youutter the word Trump, you're like,
no, no, no, SoKamal Harris sounds better. Yeah, until
you look at the issues and exactlywhat you're talking about, and then you
go to vote, You're like, wait a second, my hatred for Trump
the man, in spite of thefact that I was doing better under his
(02:21:22):
administration and he has a record thathe's running on, in spite of that,
I'm going to vote against my bestinterest and vote for a president who's
more liberal than Joe Biden by far, and who's already on record as building
and expanding these massive entitlement programs andthus running the printing press without fixing the
(02:21:43):
problem of our outrageous spending already, which is going to have an even further
inflationary pressure. If people would thinkabout it, rather than reacting to evil
Orange Man with that built in Pavlovianresponse thank you media, then they would
think, no, this will bea really bad idea of voting for her.
It would be against my best interest, right, And I just hope
(02:22:03):
that I'm glad that everybody votes individually, because again, I will be so
happy if enough of these people intheir own little world, when they're at
that marking down that ballot, ifthey say, well, no, one's
gonna know that I voted for Trump, so let's keep our fingers crossed.
(02:22:28):
But to all my conservative leaning folks, folks who even aren't even a huge
fan of Donald Trump, but understandthat the policies of this current administration,
what will obviously be the policies ofthe Harris administration, will suck. We'll
stink on ice. So yeah,go in and go ahead and vote for
Trump. As much as it hurtsyou, nobody's gonna know you did it,
(02:22:48):
but at least get in and voteand prevent a colossal existential train wreck
from happening. Thank you, Jeff, God bless you. Sorry thirty six
Fred your next if you don't mindholding for moment. I'm out of time
In this segment, I want tomention my friend John Ryan and Prestige Interiors.

gut the place and start from scratchroute quite a few years ago at this
point, but still live in thatlovely reality of that beautiful kitchen that he
created in our home. Took hisadvice on so many different things, including
moving one little tiny wall that providedso much more space. I never could
have believed that it worked out sowell. Just the whole flow, the

Let's see what Fred's gott Hey Fred, thanks for holding over the break,
my friend. Welcome to the show. Good morning, long time listener.
(02:24:39):
Thank you. Uh, let mejust start off center. I am
a black Democrat, but I don'tthink either party Democras Crats our Republicans is
looking for my best interests. AndI say that because, well, let
me just say it, the nationalpresident, whoever become president, is not
going to speck me one way oranother. Uh, the local races,
(02:25:05):
it's gonna affect me. My biggestthing is I live in a black neighborhood
and my problem is basically police seemand also the city of Cincinnati is for
the things they do, and myneighbors that I'm around only can see the
black neighbors I'm around have a problemwith forrest, The police been in our
(02:25:26):
neighborhood. Trash been picked up,Our streets is not paved like other streets,
right, you know, basically havingthe same thing done as other streets.
When we can go to another neighborhood, basically they streets get tore up
and they get paid then within aweek where our streets get tore up.
And this was like, Uh,you out in the country somewhere, that's
the problem. When you you can'thave the same thing as somebody else,
(02:25:50):
but you paying taxes. That's whata problem comes in for us as I'm
stop saying for us, For meas a black man, that that when
I go down the street and walkout my door, I don't have the
luxury of having my trash picked upon time, or they throw trash on
the ground, they don't pick itup. The streets is not done,
poles been hit? Are they leaningover? Yeah, that's my thing.
(02:26:16):
It's local understood, not more ofthe president. And I understand what people
are saying about who's going to berunning for presidents. Every time I was
up and down the street and downthe highway. There are more hotels getting
built, there are more roles gettingdone, there are more houses being sold.
There is money out there. Butthe whole thing is it's not doing
and gloom, like everybody said,is well man, And I appreciate you
(02:26:39):
that sometimes you call the call inand say some crazy stuff and you,
you know, direct them in theright direction. And I appreciate you for
doing that. That's the only reasonI listen to you, because I get
eighty percent of one and twenty percent of the other one. But it
balances out with you, and Iappreciate that more than anything. Well,
I appreciate that friend, because that'sthe how, that's where I operate from.
You know, you are being failedby your local government, There's no
(02:27:01):
question about it. You go throughoutthe city of Cincinnati, many people in
a variety of different neighborhoods, it'sas if they've been completely forgotten. Yes,
the roads are in terrible shape.Yes, there is infrastructure problems all
over the place. It has beena collective failure of priority on a local
level because they're responsible for allocating thefinite amount of resources they have, and
(02:27:22):
they have overlooked your neighborhood. Iguess I would feel stung myself. Fred,
you're right, But why do theybuild as Fred? You've got potholes,
you got a crappy neighborhood, yougot garbage and needs to be collected.
Why do they build a streetcar?Fred? Five million dollars a year
in maintenance and upkey. Yet no, they overlooked your neighborhood, and you,
specifically, Fred, in favor ofa glory, you know, shining
(02:27:43):
object that did nothing for the Cityof Cincinnati except keep us in further debt.
That's it, then, whatsoever? And like I said once again,
and and I know that it's timebefore election and their out have or their
meeting and they're around walking around. But you know, I as soon as
the election is over with this callto the same thing all over again once
again, and my whole thing onceagain. You get all these people that's
been elected, you got all thepeople under them, and they can't go
(02:28:07):
out and survey the areas that theyare supposed to be representing. Yeah,
that's my whole thing. You representmy area and I have never seen or
talked to you. You never cameto a resident council media, you never
did anything like that. But yes, you want my vote. It's a
good point for no Fred. That'swhat the morning show is for. You
(02:28:30):
get it out of your system andmaybe draw the attention of some elected official
that might look a little bit harderbefore they start going down the road of
some shiny object that's going to benefitno One and start thinking about Fred in
his neighborhood and fixing the damn roadsand getting the garbage picked up. I
think you're on solid ground, man. You're always welcome to call in.
Fred. Keep up again, allright, thanks you you have a great
(02:28:50):
day. You do the same man. Eight forty six fifty five KR.
See the talk station and you gota friend in Maureen Fred. Next he's
got an instant message from Man.I like him. That's it. Yes,
I do too, five three sevenfifty eight two three talk and another
phone number I'll give you. It'sUSA Insulation. If you haven't called USA
(02:29:11):
Insulation and you're an older home, you really should. You're wasting money every
single month. You're paying too much. You can pair back that energy bill
significantly. If you're running your airconditioning unit in these hot summer days,
you're paying too much. Now,if you have a well insulated home,
then I can't say that you wouldn'tneed the USA's premium foam in the exterior
(02:29:31):
walls. But if you are underinsulated, and you may very well be.
I use my daughter's home as anillustration. R twelve and the exterior
walls of a late seventies build Rtwelve that had deteriorated and it does over
time, so it doesn't even havean R twelve effective insulation. So we
bought the USA Premium phone for ourhouse. We wanted to save money,
be more comfortable, nice home, warm housewarming gift, at least from my
(02:29:52):
perspective, because I know the valueof USA and what it'll bring to you.

the program with a great day ofbumper music. Thanks Joe Strecker. It's
been fun. Ah And you know, Fred, I feel for you man,
and I don't kind of sort ofimprove my point. You know,
if you have to, if you'regoing to rely on the government, then
you're setting yourself up for a failure. It says, you know, I
go back to Social Security. Youknow you're on Social Security you're relying on
the government to keep things sowed togetherand running smoothly and solvent. They have
(02:31:01):
failed you. I wouldn't want tobe in that position. Who's been running
the city of Cincinnati now for decades, who has prioritized stupid projects over just
taking care of what they owned andwere responsible for already, You've got multiple

administrations. The infrastructure needs in thecity of Cincinnati are unbelievable in terms of
how backlog they are, how manyroad miles are supposed to do versus what
they actually did every year. Why, well, we're too busy doing something
else. We don't bother picking upthe trash because we're too busy doing something
else. Oh look, let's buildanother leg of the streetcar. Have you

worked the math on that yet?I just really wonder what goes through politicians
mind, is that the need thatthey think they need to go out and
do even more when they have failedus on what they brought us in the

a welcome environment in all the areasof the city. So it is a
drawing point for more investment, moreinvestment, which leads, of course to
more tax dollars. You live ina beautiful environment. It's like a whole
broken windows things. If you cleanthe place up and you take good care
of it, it looks really nice. People perceive it to be a welcome
environment, and they might be inclinedto live there. Meantime they go chasing,
(02:32:37):
you know, but oh god,I don't know. I hear in
Fred's voice and I understand where he'scoming from. Then again, I try
to do the I want to putas little confidence in government as possible,
as little of my wife to haveanything in any connection whatsoever, because every
time they get involved, they seemto just create a colossal train wreck out

of the situation. Oh my god, we've got to regulate this. We
got to regulate that. We gotto do this, We got to do
that. No, you really don't, you really don't. How about fixing
the damn roads. How about bringingthe police force up the line so Fred's
neighborhood is a little bit safer. How About let's embrace the police and let's
ask politicians support them and their mission, which is to provide a safe environment,
(02:33:20):
as opposed to running around demonizing themall day long and micromanaging and scrutinizing
every little movement that a police officermakes. It's terrible for morale and the
demonization of police that hasn't rampant inthis country of late. You know,
it's terrible for recruiting HM much inthe same way DEI is terrible for recruiting.

disaster. And oh look, we'reliving the reality of that, putting us
in a worse position. Why well, because they feel they had to get

you didn't have to spend any timedoing that. It was working out just
fine. Fix Fred's roads. Wouldyou eight fifty five fifty five K City
