Speaker 1 (00:01):
One particular Christmas season a long time ago. Santa was
getting ready for this annual trip, but there were problems everywhere.
Four of his elves got sick, and the trainee elves
didn't produce the toys as fast as the regular one,
So Santa was beginning to feel the pressure of being

(00:21):
behind schedule. A net wouldn't do. Then missus Klaws told
Santa that her mother was coming to visit. This stress
an even more. When he went to harness the reindeer,
he found that three of them were about to give birth,

(00:41):
and two had jumped the fence and were out to
who knows where. More stress. He didn't need that. Then
he began to load the sleigh. One of the boards
cracked and the toy bag fell to the ground, scattered
the toys everywhere. So frustrated, Sanna went into the house
to get a cup of coffee and a shot of whiskey.

(01:04):
When he went to the cupboard, he found that the
elves had hid the liquor and there was nothing to
drink but water. He wasn't into that mort stress. In
his frustration, he accidentally dropped the coffee pot. It broke
hundreds of pieces all over the kitchen floor. He went

(01:24):
to get the broom. He found that the mice had
eaten a straw. Right, he didn't end that to do either.
Then the doorbell rang. Oh, Santa Claus was cursing a
little bit all the way to the door. And he
opened the door, and there was a little angel and
a great big Christmas tree. And the angel said, Merry

(01:49):
Christmas center, isn't it a lovely day? I have a
beautiful tree for you. Isn't it a lovely tree? Where
would you like me to stick? Thus began the tradition
of the little Angel on top of the tree.
