(00:32):
is coming up very quick. We have a list of
the worst celebrities. Those are always fun. Let's start off
with a little reintroduction for all the people that are
new to the Billy and Lisa Show.

Allow me to reinroduce myself. My name is Yeah, Yeah,
We have a lot of regular things we do on
the Billion and Lisa Morning Show. One big feature is
the Talkback Mafia. And what we do is we allow
people to reach out to us by way of the
talkback and we love it. Right justin how does it work?

Speaker 3 (01:32):
That's right, that's right.

Speaker 6 (01:33):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
So you gotta have the iHeart app, which is free
to download. iHeartRadio App. You download it, you stream Kiss
Want to Wait live anywhere you go, and when you're
doing so, there's a red microphone little icon. You tap
that and you can leave a thirty second message. Now,
the cool part about the talkback is that message comes
directly to me and then I in turn put it
on the radio and incorporate it. And basically you become

(01:55):
a co host of the show, which is something that
we love. And once you do that, you become a
member of the talk Back Mafia, and.

Speaker 6 (02:01):
You can do it anytime you want, anytime of day
or night. And you can also listen to this show
anytime you want. You just go to the Kiss I
Want to Wait website.

Speaker 5 (02:31):
Yeah, take us anywhere in the world.

Speaker 7 (02:33):
You're going on vacation, you're going away for work, you
can still listen on the iHeart app.

Speaker 6 (02:37):
Yeah, we've got the entertainment break that happens twice in
the morning at six forty and eight forty. We have
a weird story segment. Stories that make you say want them,
and we do.

Speaker 2 (02:47):
We do a lot of good contests like the Sabrina
Secret Sound that launched today on the ten seven ten
and a ten.

is the only one that I trust justin your story
is unique. I think I'll allow you to give whatever
detail you want on your past and present.

I have a wife, Jen, I have two children, Able
and Gemma, seven and two. But I had a troubled past.
I am in recovery from addiction. I've been cleaned for
sixteen years. I almost I shouldn't really be here. I
you know, made some poor decisions early on in life.
Able to turn it around, and so I've been in recovery,

(03:55):
long term recovery and was able to achieve My dream
would was to work on Kiss Want to Wait?

Speaker 6 (04:01):
You know, And you're the best executive producer and co
host on the planet. Well, nobody can do what you
do on the board and the computer screens and everything else. Lisa,
you're a mom. You've got two boys.

Speaker 5 (04:11):
I do.

Speaker 7 (04:12):
I live in Milton. I've been on this show for
over twenty years, so I've I've.

Speaker 5 (04:17):
Seen it all.

Speaker 7 (04:18):
Yeah, but we live in Milton, mass I have two boys,
they're two teenagers.

Speaker 5 (04:24):
I have a husband, So yeah, that's my And.

Speaker 6 (04:26):
You've got an incredibly successful book club.

Speaker 7 (04:29):
The book Club and anyone can join, So go to
Kiss oneawait dot com slash Lisa's Book Club for all
of the info you need. We have another event coming
up on September twenty third with Hank Philippy Ryan.

Speaker 9 (04:39):
No.

Speaker 6 (04:39):
I can't wait for Winny's story. I feel the need
to take notes. Okay, but you you know, we call
it in Winnie's world, but your world really is different
from anything else we know.

Speaker 10 (04:50):
I mean, yeah, I'm just your typical millennial. I'm from Quinsey,
born and raised. I've been a local girl. I worked
my way up here. I started in marketing. I interned
here when I was at Framingham State, and I somehow
landed next to you guys. I don't know how. I
don't really speak well, so I don't know how I'm
on the radio.

Speaker 6 (05:07):
Oh you really don't know.

Speaker 8 (05:08):
I really don't.

Speaker 10 (05:08):
I'm an auntie I have, you know. That's kind of
my personality social media. Love to get my nailsent in Florida,
you know what I mean.

Speaker 6 (05:16):
Yeah, she's the kind of person that will fly to
Florida for one overnight just to get her nails.

Speaker 5 (05:21):
Done because she can't exactly, because I got no kids.

Speaker 6 (05:23):
She has no kids. I got.

Speaker 10 (05:24):
I'm not married, I got you know, I'm not single.

Speaker 8 (05:27):
I have a girlfriend, but I'm chilling.

Speaker 6 (05:29):
She is queen, the Queen of Quincy, the Queen of
Quinsy baby raining and Randall. Okay, that's enough for that.
See there's an example of our talkbacks right there.

Speaker 2 (05:38):
That is a talkback when you hear when you hear
random listeners chiming in. I don't always say it that's
a talkback, but that's what it is. Yeah, yeah, what
about you?

Speaker 6 (05:49):
I guess first and foremost, I'm my dad. I've got
three grown boys. I'm very proud of all three of them.
But yeah, I've lived here my entire life. I mean,
I was born and raised in Nise Cambridge Report section
of East Cambridge and have never left the state of
Massachusetts and have spent most of my adulthood on this show. Yeah.

(06:10):
It's scary when you think of it.

Speaker 5 (06:13):
You've been here forever.

Speaker 2 (06:14):
Yeah, right, Well, you started as a reporter in the afternoon, right, yes,
at Kiss. Yeah, then you joined The Maddie Show and
we're here for decades.

Speaker 3 (06:22):
Right.

Speaker 6 (06:23):
But before joining The Maddie Show, I traveled a lot
with the show, broadcasting from different parts of the world,
big events like the Grammys, the Golden Globe of the Oscars,
Olympic Games. But yeah, I've been on the morning show
for I don't know thirty six thirty seven years. TV shows, yeah,
oh I do some TV.

Speaker 3 (06:39):
Got some TV.

Speaker 6 (06:40):
Yeah. By the way, Dining Playbook Saturday mornings on Nesson,
Sunday nights at nine on Nesson and Meet Boston a
new TV show we launched recently recently, and my TV
partner Jenny and I are going to be launching a
cookbook in a few weeks.

Speaker 7 (06:55):
Which will be featured at my book club, yes in November.

Speaker 10 (06:58):
And to be fair, you guys know, Lisa's book Club
is completely free to the public.

Speaker 7 (07:02):
It is anyone can join, anyone can come.

Speaker 8 (07:05):
It's easy.

Speaker 6 (07:06):
Yeah, And Lisa's book Club has been given credit nationally
for getting people back to reading.

Speaker 2 (07:12):
We're trying, and Billy's perfect with Lisa because you know,
he's kind of, you know, one of the girls.

Speaker 5 (07:19):
So one of the girls.

Speaker 2 (07:21):
He's very caddy yep, you know, I mean you hear
him in the morning we're watching the news on TV.

Speaker 6 (07:25):
Sha hear him the Ken did microphone. No one ever
knows when he's.

Speaker 8 (07:33):
Talking into the candid.

Speaker 6 (07:35):
Microphone doing the weather with the long fake Cinderella hair
or Disney hair. Oh god, it's just like some sort
of a weird TV show. It's all the TV local
TV people. You can tell their extensions cause Lisa told me.
But it's like some weird trend where like they're overdoing it,
you know, like a Disney character with the hair down

(07:57):
to their knees.

Speaker 7 (08:00):
He pulls me into from the Planet Fitness Kiss run
Away Studios.

Speaker 5 (08:07):
Bo, We're back with Villy and Lisa in the morning
on Kiss.

Speaker 3 (08:12):
Hey guys, good.

Speaker 2 (08:12):
Morning, Happy Monday, welcome back to the show. Justin here,
so pretty cool moment on the show. Recently, a woman
named Melissa went to every single ninety nine restaurant. Farently
she's a big fan. But and then we got her
on the show to tell us all about it.

Speaker 6 (08:26):
Melissa Vieira, who's on the phone right now. And boy, Melissa,
you just kept going back for more. You went to
every single ninety nine in New England.

Speaker 11 (08:35):
I did, And I think there is a confusion, like
a lot of people are like there's only ninety six left,
and when I started, there was actually one hundred and
four and then along the way some shutdown. But I
had gone to some of those. Oh so by the
end of my journey, I had gone to one hundred.

Speaker 6 (08:51):
Okay, now before we continue with the ninety nine journey,
I understand you're a school teacher.

Speaker 12 (08:57):
I am.

Speaker 11 (08:57):
I teach first grade at the Shawnessy School.

Speaker 6 (08:59):
In and you're not in the classroom right now.

Speaker 11 (09:02):
Why we're a later school. So they break the schools
down to different times for like bussing reason. So where
a nine to ten school start.

Speaker 6 (09:10):
Well, we constantly celebrate the school teachers on the Billy
and Leasha morning shows.

Speaker 11 (09:14):
So good. I was listening and I appreciate everything that
you guys were saying.

Speaker 6 (09:18):
No, Melissa, thank you for your service. Okay, now, thank
you very much. Back to the ninety nine My first
question why.

Speaker 11 (09:27):
Honestly, like I just always have like fond memories like
you guys have talked about like just going there when
I was little, like my aunt Uny and me used
to have like little lunch DAPs. This was one of
the places she always took me to. And then my
high school, a little high was right around the corner,
and now my school is actually pretty much right behind it.
So it's just like a place that I've always gone

(09:48):
that I feel comfortable going it's always consistently I think
good food. I know some people don't agree, but I
love the ninety nine. I love their food, I love
the atmosphere, and all the employees at the Little One are.

Speaker 6 (10:00):
Always everybody agrees that ninety nine is good. We'd love it.
So okay, So so did you do one hundred ninety
nine locations?

Speaker 12 (10:10):
I did?

Speaker 11 (10:11):
Yeah, it kind of just happened randomly, Like I ended
up going to the National One and it looked so
different and everyone, I mean even before this whole thing,
Like I dressed up as a ninety nine for Halloween.
That's great, funny, you know, everyone's always the same type
of Halloween costume. I was like, I'm gonna go as
the ninety nine.

Speaker 8 (10:31):
Well did you dress up?

Speaker 9 (10:32):
Yeah?

Speaker 11 (10:33):
On my website I have. I started an Instagram and
I posted that picture and it's a funny little Halloween costume.
It was very different. Even during COVID, like I recreated
the ninety nine restaurant. I was just bored and I
missed going out. So restaurant.

Speaker 7 (10:48):
You guys, did you order the same thing at every
restaurant or something? No?

Speaker 12 (10:53):
Not all the time.

Speaker 11 (10:53):
I mean, for the most part, I always get the
French onion soup the hands down. I still to this
day I can't find another French onion soup more. I
usually just get like a side salad. But I'll get
different things, of course. I will like I'll get like sandwiches,
I'll get the appetizers.

Speaker 8 (11:08):
Okay, please tell me you get gold severer wings.

Speaker 6 (11:11):
Of course I do.

Speaker 11 (11:12):
Yeah, I always split though, I get the buffalo and
the goldiaver.

Speaker 4 (11:14):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (11:15):
Okay.

Speaker 6 (11:15):
So now, Melissa, when you walk into these ninety nine
at this point, do they know who you are and
that you're there?

Speaker 11 (11:22):
So there's a few times that I have because I
don't know if you guys like have ever gotten the
cheese and crackers yet? Comes sometimes so they changed the
crackers and I got like upset. So I actually found
them online and I was bringing them into the ninety
nines with me when I was going and one guy
had said, hey, are you that ninety nine girl because

(11:43):
he must have followed my page and I was laughing,
and he was actually a chef at one of the
other ones in Woubern Wow, so he had he had
recognized me. But for the most part, I wuldn't let
anyone tell like my girlfriends were like, I'm gonna tell
them what you're doing. I'm like, no, do not. That's
so embarrassing, just like eat our food and go take
the pictures I take and so no, I usually didn't

(12:03):
tell anyone like what I was doing.

Speaker 6 (12:04):
So, Lisa, you bring the kids to the ninety nine
all the time.

Speaker 3 (12:07):
So where do you go?

Speaker 6 (12:08):
What do you guys get?

Speaker 5 (12:09):
They get the baked haattock.

Speaker 7 (12:10):
It has like that crusty like it's so good in
the mashed potatoes. I usually get a side salad and
something else.

Speaker 5 (12:17):
The steak tips are always like the home run.

Speaker 2 (12:20):
Yeah, well, Melissa, So what is the ninety nine saying
about this? Did they give you a gift? I mean,
did you get a prize?

Speaker 13 (12:25):
I mean, what are they saying about this amazing thing
along the way?

Speaker 11 (12:29):
Like they definitely gave me some shout outs, like you know,
when I dressed up like for the Halloween costume, they
gave me like a gift card. But at the last
one in Centerville, Like my girlfriend kind of put it
all together for me because her sister works for Fox
twenty five news. Oh yeah, and she's and her sister
is my friend and she's a teacher. So she had said, hey,

(12:50):
what's going on in Louell? Are there any fun light
hearted stories? And then she had told her about me,
so they knew I was come. They knew I were
come like I was coming, and then had They were awesome.

Speaker 10 (13:02):
I mean they.

Speaker 11 (13:03):
Decorated the whole entire place for me. They gave me
their ten year watch when you work there?

Speaker 6 (13:08):
Wow? Wow, So are you go to watch.

Speaker 11 (13:11):
Owns in a gift cars? They were really really good. Yeah,
they were great.

Speaker 6 (13:16):
They should just make you a customer for life, Like
anytime you go on the hot picture should be on
the wall.

Speaker 11 (13:21):
Yeah well, I mean I would definitely love my picture
on the wall and the loll on, that's for sure.

Speaker 6 (13:26):
So okay, so you finished the one hundred. Are you
gonna miss it or why don't you just start all
over again.

Speaker 11 (13:32):
I'm definitely not gonna do it. I don't realize how
far some of them are. Like I mean, I've been
to like roder Damn New York. I didn't even know
that place existed, Like I've been to some random places.
It was really a way to like show I love
to travel. That's like my number one thing I do.
I travel all over the world, and this was just

(13:53):
a way to like travel kind of in New England,
which I really hadn't done, I guess because I didn't
even know some of the places existed, and I'd end
up there and I'm like, oh my god, this is
like the cutest little town. Or it was just like
an adventure that I would take with girlfriends and friends.

Speaker 3 (14:06):
It was fun with it.

Speaker 10 (14:07):
New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island Mass in New Hampshire.

Speaker 11 (14:11):
And yeah, so Rhode Island Mass, Vermont, New Hampshire. Yeah,
in Connecticut and obviously New York. I know it's not
technically New England.

Speaker 8 (14:20):
But it counts.

Speaker 6 (14:21):
You know, it's funny.

Speaker 11 (14:22):
Fun Yeah, it count to count.

Speaker 6 (14:24):
You know what's funny, Melissa, You didn't know that the
Rotterdam ninety nine existed. I didn't know Rotterdam New York existed.

Speaker 11 (14:31):
Neither did Eye. So what actually attached to a bingo hall?

Speaker 5 (14:36):
So that did you play bingo?

Speaker 11 (14:38):
I hope, Oh my god, I love I did not
play bando. I kind of stopped my stupid went right
in Naratoga Spring from.

Speaker 9 (14:46):
The Planet Fitness Kids one O eight Studios, We're back
with Villie and Lisa in the morning.

Speaker 2 (14:53):
And good morning everybody. Welcome back to the show. Justin
here on a Monday morning. I do have a pair
of jingle balls. It gets the show is sold out
coming up December fifteenth, TD Garden. We're talking about kid LaRoy, Tate, McCrae, Benson, Boone,
Meghan Trainer, twenty one Pilots, and so many more. You
can't buy tickets, but you can win them here with us,

(15:14):
right now. Give us a call six one, seven, nine
three one, one one oh eight. Producer Riley will take
caller twenty five. You will need the keyword, and the
keyword is celebrity.

Speaker 3 (15:25):
And just a heads up.

Speaker 2 (15:26):
Tomorrow morning, Billy Costa returns from Africa.

Speaker 3 (15:29):
And we're going big.

Speaker 2 (15:31):
Not only will we have jingle Ball tickets tomorrow, but
also a shot at one hundred and eight thousand dollars
and four front row tickets to jingle Ball. So that
kicks off tomorrow morning at seven, ten, eight, ten, and
nine ten. And I mentioned a minute ago the keyword
was celebrity and that's because of a very interesting list

(15:52):
that Lisa found of the worst most annoying celebrities.

Speaker 7 (15:56):
What do you got, Lisa, Well, we've been talking about
the number one person on the list for a while now,
Who can anyone guess who it is?

Speaker 5 (16:04):
It's a phoemix.

Speaker 8 (16:05):
I guess, I guess.

Speaker 5 (16:06):
Okay, Okay, yeah, okay.

Speaker 7 (16:10):
So these are celebrities that have been voted the rudest,
most difficult to work with, according to employees and co stars.

Speaker 5 (16:18):
So let's start with the bottom of the list.

Speaker 9 (16:20):
Bill Costa, good guess, but it's Justin Biemer according to
Bill Hayter and Jay Fower from SNL, they said he
was the worst guest they've ever worked with. But Bill
is saying that it's probably just because Justin was in
a bad place when he hosted back in twenty thirty. Okay,

(16:42):
remember that period of time where he was climbing trees.

Speaker 6 (16:46):
Here he went to sleep right in the middle of
the concert. We were there in the car. Yeah, so
was he number ten?

Speaker 5 (16:52):
He's number seven. There's seven on this list that I have. Okay.

Speaker 7 (16:55):
The next one is Bill Murray. Richard has called him
an Irish drunken book.

Speaker 2 (17:01):
I've heard this about Bill Murray, but I've also heard
he's the nicest guy ever. So I guess it depends
on what Bill Murray is.

Speaker 5 (17:07):
He still dating Calice. That was so random, so random.

Speaker 8 (17:14):
I have heard that justin in public. He's so nice
to fan.

Speaker 2 (17:17):
He famously goes walks into random bars in New York
and just buys everyone, drinks and hangs out all the time.

Speaker 6 (17:23):
Well, that sounds nice.

Speaker 3 (17:25):
Yeah, I think the thing with celebrities. I always asked
this question.

Speaker 2 (17:28):
I'm to show you guys too, who's the rudest celebrity,
who's the best lady you've ever met? You have to
remember that you know they're humans too, and they have
bad times, bad days when you catch them.

Speaker 6 (17:38):
Yeah, okay, all right.

Speaker 7 (17:41):
Ed Norton, he was called by the Marvel president, Kevin uh.
He said he lacks collaborative spirit, and he was replaced
by Mark Ruffalo.

Speaker 6 (17:50):
He's a really good actor, but I could see him
being a pain in the ass.

Speaker 8 (17:54):
I don't know who he is.

Speaker 2 (17:54):
I have to look him up American history.

Speaker 3 (17:58):
You can tell he's one of those like meth A
method actors.

Speaker 6 (18:01):
Intense, very intense, very intense. Okay, okay, this.

Speaker 5 (18:04):
One's really shocking. Number four in the list.

Speaker 7 (18:06):
Julia Roberts really difficult to work with. On the set
of Hook I Love. The crew referred to her as
Tinker Hell.

Speaker 6 (18:16):
Oh remember that? Wow? Well how long ago was hook Ageah,
maybe she's changed. I just saw her new movie about
the end of the world or something. It was a
weird on Netflix.

Speaker 5 (18:29):
It was really good.

Speaker 6 (18:30):
Yeah, all right.

Speaker 7 (18:32):
Number three is Mike Myers. Kat Mahat says he's just
a nightmare to work with. He was distant on the
set and had a guy who used to hold chocolates
for him in a tupperware container and just follow him
around the set.

Speaker 5 (18:44):
That's just weird, right.

Speaker 6 (18:46):
That's kind of eccentric, very.

Speaker 5 (18:47):
Eccentric, but weird.

Speaker 12 (18:48):
All right.

Speaker 7 (18:49):
Number two is this is okay, we love him.

Speaker 5 (18:53):
Jimmy Fallon really.

Speaker 7 (18:55):
Jimmy Fallon says he has created a toxic work environment
on the Night show and he has erratic behavior behind
the scenes.

Speaker 6 (19:03):
Well, there are rumors about his behaviors.

Speaker 10 (19:06):
I will say when I interviewed him for Comics Home,
which we're gonna have to do with Learry today. Lovely,
so lovely. But he did seem drunk.

Speaker 6 (19:15):
Well, didn't he take off from backstage to come home.

Speaker 3 (19:18):
And went to Monica?

Speaker 8 (19:19):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (19:20):
He, I mean he was late, he was late to
get on stage, had to adjust the lineup.

Speaker 8 (19:24):
Yeah, my best friend was with me and she was like,
I think he was very drunk. I think he was too.

Speaker 6 (19:29):
He went for a couple of pops.

Speaker 8 (19:30):
Yeah, no, but he was very very nice. Like I, Yeah,
we love Jimmy.

Speaker 2 (19:35):
Though Jimmy Fallue listened to Billy and Lisa in the morning, I.

Speaker 6 (19:37):
Kiss went away, Like I said, We've always loved Jimmy Fallon.
You know, I've found him to be sweet, very nice man.

Speaker 5 (19:42):
Very very nice. Number one.

Speaker 7 (19:45):
I feel like we need a drum roll here?

Speaker 5 (19:48):
Does anyone all right? Anyone want to guess who it is?

Speaker 2 (19:51):
It's a female only mean one person, Jennifer Lopez.

Speaker 5 (19:57):
You are right shock.

Speaker 8 (20:01):
I am shocked and dismayed by this information.

Speaker 3 (20:03):
Do they have any examples?

Speaker 7 (20:05):
Yeah, she just has a bunch of demands. When she
performed for the World Music Awards in twenty ten, she
requested a custom speedboat, diamond encrusted headphones, and she wanted
a helicopter standing by if.

Speaker 6 (20:16):
You wanted a choppa wanted a choppa? Oh yeah, like
twenty four to seven.

Speaker 5 (20:21):
Yeah, this doesn't surprise me, No, not at all. I'm
telling you, like I had first hands.

Speaker 2 (20:28):
Well, the interview went great, but I remember you saying
she was flanked by about thirty people.

Speaker 5 (20:33):
She had her makeup people had makeup people. I couldn't
believe that.

Speaker 8 (20:38):
I couldn't believe it.

Speaker 7 (20:39):
Yeah, she has a big entourage, a lot of demands.

Speaker 6 (20:43):
Well, I know when she came to Kiss concert, first
of all, she was very nice. But when I walked
into the dressing room for the interview, like you say,
she had about twenty people in there, like doing her hair,
doing her makeup, answering the door, answering the phone, just
and it was a tiny little dressing.

Speaker 5 (20:58):
It's too much.

Speaker 6 (20:59):
Yeah, but oh wow, the number one. That's not a
good designation to have.

Speaker 3 (21:03):
How is Kanye not on this list?

Speaker 8 (21:05):
That's what you know why?

Speaker 10 (21:07):
I think these most of Kanye's people that work with
him are like family, like his actual circle.

Speaker 2 (21:11):
Yeah, this was actually posted this week. It was it
was a thread of famous people's assistants and they were writing,
like you know, they're crazy stories of celebrities, and Kanye's
former assistant chimed in and said, one time Kanye West
had me dip a thousand sharpies and liquid rubber because
he liked how it felt.

Speaker 1 (21:31):
Oh boy, okay, Kanye Bostonstoja cat everybody again.

Speaker 5 (21:38):
And we're back with the Philly and Lisa in the morning.

Speaker 2 (21:40):
Yeah, good morning, everybody, justin here, welcome back to the show.
So Halloween more than a couple of weeks out. But
when is it too early to put up Halloween decorations?
I feel like every year it gets earlier and earlier,
and it's causing a little bit of an uproar.

Speaker 7 (21:56):
We all love Halloween, right while there's a woman in
Ohio that says she's received a lot of complaints from
members in her community because she's putting her super elaborate
Halloween display up earlier than usual this year.

Speaker 5 (22:08):
If I was disrupting somebody or.

Speaker 14 (22:12):
You know, bothering people, I'm not, you know, you could
have came to me and said something like, hey, you
know why, and I would have explained to him why
I do.

Speaker 5 (22:19):
It so early.

Speaker 14 (22:20):
It broke my heart because all my neighbors come and
try to help me if they see me out here.
My husband was diagnosed a year ago with cancer. He
can't do as my chapter as chemo treatments. He's usually
down for two weeks.

Speaker 2 (22:31):
Ah, that's sad. Yeah, Yeah, how early is too early?
I feel like it gets earlier and earlier every single year.

Speaker 6 (22:37):
Well, I'll tell you I was walking around the past
week or two and I couldn't help but notice people
already had their Halloween stuff up. And I was thinking, Okay.

Speaker 2 (22:46):
It's a little early this. There's a couple of things
at my house, nothing too crazy.

Speaker 5 (22:50):
Can I ask you a question?

Speaker 3 (22:51):
Sure?

Speaker 7 (22:52):
Last year, your wife was all into the giant skeleton.

Speaker 3 (22:55):
Yep?

Speaker 5 (22:55):
Has she ordered it?

Speaker 3 (22:57):
She is looking for it currently? Okay, real?

Speaker 8 (23:00):
Did she? She should have looked like in the off season.

Speaker 2 (23:02):
I feel I think she did find it, but she didn't,
you know, jump on it. But she still wants it.
I don't want it, because I mean it's cool. But
the thing is with those giant skeletons, they keep them
up all year, that's the thing, and you decorate them
for Christmas and for whatever.

Speaker 8 (23:17):
I think all year, son, put.

Speaker 3 (23:20):
The giant skeleton, Winnie.

Speaker 8 (23:21):
And your big ass garage.

Speaker 3 (23:22):
Oh it's full of stuff.

Speaker 6 (23:25):
I don't know.

Speaker 10 (23:26):
Justin's mother in law has her own garage, and then
Justin has a garage, and every time I go there,
it's there's plenty of room for it. You make space
for No, you're being dramatic, right, You take it apart.

Speaker 8 (23:37):
There's plenty of room for it.

Speaker 2 (23:38):
So there's a couple of decorations at my house. But
some houses I've seen are fully decorated, like that woman's house.
And yeah, people get upset about it. I don't really
know why. Maybe it's the lights or I don't know.

Speaker 6 (23:50):
All I know it's all I care about is the
shrunken head costume that we had in studio from the
Beetlejuice movie.

Speaker 5 (23:56):
It's the best, the best costume about it.

Speaker 6 (23:57):
All I care. It's the best costume I've ever seen.

Speaker 3 (24:00):
Yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 8 (24:02):
I guess it doesn't bother me. If that's what you
want to do with your time, go ahead, Why do
I can?

Speaker 3 (24:06):
Yeah? But heychusin what's going on?

Speaker 15 (24:09):
Man?

Speaker 3 (24:09):
This is Carlos.

Speaker 16 (24:10):
I know you guys are talking about the Halloween decorations.
You guys were talking about a house last year in Winchester.
They got these huge skeletons. I saw that right now, man,
And they got different ones. They got a bunch of
huge keletons outside the house when it's crazy.

Speaker 3 (24:27):
Oh yeah, remember the Winchester house.

Speaker 6 (24:28):
Yeah yeah, And there's one right across the street from
me that has like ten different giant skeletons out on
the lawn. They haven't gone up yet.

Speaker 3 (24:35):
Oh so they're not up yet.

Speaker 6 (24:36):
Not those. But I'm telling you I've seen people with
full decorations already up as a.

Speaker 2 (24:41):
Mark because people think that October first should be the
start of Halloween.

Speaker 3 (24:45):
That's the issue.

Speaker 17 (24:46):
Okay, Hi, this is Jane from New Hampshire calling about
the Halloween decorations. I know there were people.

Speaker 5 (24:53):
Out there that love Halloween. They love it, it's their
favorite holiday.

Speaker 17 (24:58):
I do not want to see one Halloween decoration, not
one witch, not one ghost, not one spider web, nothing
till at least October first. Put your pumpkins out, make
a scarecrow.

Speaker 6 (25:15):
Okay, Jane, I will say I think it really bothers
people when it's somebody next door that overdoes it with
the Halloween decorations.

Speaker 3 (25:26):
Is it the lights?

Speaker 6 (25:26):
I mean, if you're driving around, it doesn't bother A.

Speaker 7 (25:29):
Lot of the decorations make noise. Yeah, you're right, Okay, Yeah,
so that would be the one reason why I would
be upset is if every two seconds, like if like
somebody walks in front of the you know, the giant
scarecrow or the witch that you hear that.

Speaker 3 (25:44):
Oh my god.

Speaker 2 (25:45):
So it hasn't gone up yet, but we have a
dead nurse skeleton, a life size one that my wife
hangs up on the garage and when you walk by it.

Speaker 7 (25:56):
Like after a while, I'd be like I would, I
would go next door and I would rip it down.

Speaker 6 (26:01):
Right, Jen climbs up on the garage.

Speaker 3 (26:05):
She gets really into it.

Speaker 8 (26:06):
She's a hardy gal.

Speaker 6 (26:07):
Yeah, well that's right. She does all the carpentry worker.

Speaker 2 (26:10):
Yeah, well, I love your wife. Yeah, it's she says,
that's her. That's how she feels after a long day
with me.

Speaker 5 (26:15):
And the children.

Speaker 7 (26:16):
Totally really, but that would be like the only reason
why I think people will get a sound sound.

Speaker 2 (26:22):
Yeah, maybe the attention of cars driving by and stopping
taking pictures.

Speaker 7 (26:27):
So my personal feeling is, if that's something that you're into,
then do it and enjoy it. There's so few things
in life that you can actually enjoy like that.

Speaker 6 (26:36):
But what if one of the houses that has all
the traffic building up all day and night is next
to your house? Would you love it?

Speaker 10 (26:43):
Then?

Speaker 5 (26:43):
No, you're right, it would be I would hate it.

Speaker 3 (26:46):
So lista you enter you out on this.

Speaker 7 (26:48):
I think I'm i think I'm okay with your hitting
it up whenever you want.

Speaker 3 (26:52):
Lisa, she's in Boo.

Speaker 5 (26:57):
We're back with Billy and Lisa in the morning.

Speaker 3 (27:01):
All right.

Speaker 2 (27:01):
So a couple of minutes ago we had the topic
of Halloween decorations and when is it too early to
put up those decorations. That is the topic for topic
time today. Let's go to the phones. Sarah, good morning.

Speaker 6 (27:13):
Hi, Good morning everyone.

Speaker 11 (27:15):
I'm so excited my neighbor. I live in Twksbury.

Speaker 12 (27:19):
My neighbor has started his decoration.

Speaker 11 (27:21):
I think the end of June or like the fourth
of July.

Speaker 10 (27:24):
He has a huge display he.

Speaker 16 (27:26):
Does every year.

Speaker 12 (27:27):
He allows walk throughs to come through.

Speaker 11 (27:29):
Me and my friends have a Halloween party and we
all go over and I believe every year he raises money.

Speaker 6 (27:34):
I think one year it was like the Wounded Warriors Project.

Speaker 11 (27:36):
Yeah, yeah, I love it.

Speaker 6 (27:38):
He puts it in so many hours, and I think
it's awesome.

Speaker 5 (27:42):
I love that he's raising money. That's a really good
use of that.

Speaker 6 (27:44):
And is he right next door to you?

Speaker 11 (27:48):
No, he isn't, So that is the convenient thing.

Speaker 12 (27:50):
It's on my street, but it's not right across from me.

Speaker 4 (27:53):
So it doesn't directly affect every time I got my window.

Speaker 11 (27:57):
Maybe that's why I love.

Speaker 6 (27:57):
It sood yeah, I'm gonna say yeah, a lot of.

Speaker 11 (28:00):
People into the street. It does.

Speaker 15 (28:02):
You know, it's like Friday and Saturday nights.

Speaker 12 (28:03):
He usually has everything lit up, but I see him
like when it's before it's even dark. He goes out.
He turns everything on and it's a huge amount of
time and energy he puts in.

Speaker 15 (28:12):
And you know, everyone in the community loves it.

Speaker 12 (28:14):
So if Reverend Tooks Bay stop by Oakland ath, well.

Speaker 6 (28:18):
Thank you for the call. That's a good start. We
get to Wounded Warriors. It's a great charity. Let's go
to Michelle next. Michelle, what do you think?

Speaker 9 (28:26):
I think?

Speaker 12 (28:27):
Just do what makes you happy.

Speaker 11 (28:29):
You want to put your decorations up, put them up,
and if you don't like it, mine your own business.

Speaker 12 (28:33):
We don't want to look at them, don't look at them.
You don't want to listen to him.

Speaker 11 (28:37):
Put your iPods in.

Speaker 12 (28:38):
Don't let people rain on your parade.

Speaker 8 (28:40):
Put your iPods in.

Speaker 6 (28:42):
Yeah, okay, well I mean but I'm telling you she
would think differently if she had one of those over
the top houses. The traffic jams and everything right, next door.

Speaker 2 (28:51):
Yeah, yeah, families are pulling up next door and you're
all getting out of the car.

Speaker 3 (28:57):
That part. But I do think overall, in your own business. Listen,
I say it all the time.

Speaker 2 (29:02):
It costs nothing to wake up in the morning and
mind your own business.

Speaker 6 (29:06):
So all I'm saying, let's go to Tabitha next. I
like that named Tabitha. Good morning, Tabitha. Where are you
calling in.

Speaker 15 (29:13):
From from Salisbury, Massachusetts?

Speaker 6 (29:17):
That's beautiful thaws everybody. Good morning, Tabitha. What do you
say about the Halloween than I say.

Speaker 15 (29:24):
It's never too early to decorate for Halloween? Can we
discuss the people that decorate for Christmas before Thanksgiving and
leave their lights up till February? Why are we talking
about decorating for Halloween too early?

Speaker 6 (29:36):
Yeah, there's some people you know that leave their Christmas
decorations up to you round the lights right, yeah, yeah,
and they put the lights on every night. And okay,
Merry Christmas. But good one. Let's go to Ken next.
It's a good topic. Ken. What do you think?

Speaker 12 (29:50):
Yeah, so I agree with justin one hundred percent. People
should mind their own business. The average Massachusetts homeowner pays
between ten and twenty thousand dollars year and property taxes.
I own my house, I pay that much money to
fund the schools and everything else. If I want to
put up Easter decorations right now, I'm going to put
them up.

Speaker 6 (30:11):
Do you plan on putting up?

Speaker 12 (30:12):
Honestly, as long as no one is violating like a
noise ordinance, and you know there's not, you know, massive
amounts of traffic. Let people do what they want to
do if they're not breaking the law. This is America.
Let them do what they want to do exactly.

Speaker 15 (30:29):
Free.

Speaker 5 (30:30):
Enjoy your life, enjoy what you like doing.

Speaker 6 (30:33):
Yeah, and you know the best thing about enjoying other
people's decorations. You didn't have to do your own. No,
you don't have to take them down.

Speaker 2 (30:39):
Don't have to take them down. Take them down, by
the way. Can happy Easter, buddy. Yeah, it looks like
Steve has the opposite opinion.

Speaker 6 (30:47):
Oh okay, Steve, let's go. You're on the other side.

Speaker 12 (30:51):
Oh, this is this is hit home for me. So
I told my wife October first should be the only
day you start putting up decorations. It's already started. She
has a Halloween Christmas treeoph we have Halloween toilet paper.
Last night we went to the Paranormal Cirque show at
Rockingham Mall, which was incredible. But I am already hating Halloween.

Speaker 5 (31:15):
She's really into it.

Speaker 6 (31:16):
Yeah, well, it's it's hard when your significant other or
spouse is really into it and you're not into it.
You know, there's a I was at Hingham Shipyard last weekend.
There's a store, giant store that's just Halloween.

Speaker 8 (31:30):
You call the Spirit Halloween. Yeah, it's over the place. Yeah.

Speaker 17 (31:33):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (31:34):
They hadn't opened yet. I don't know what their official
opening date, but I couldn't believe it. I said, this
is just for Halloween.

Speaker 12 (31:39):
It.

Speaker 3 (31:40):
Yeah, the haunted houses start next Friday.

Speaker 8 (31:43):
I love.

Speaker 3 (31:46):
Yeah, I think I'm going to opening night.

Speaker 6 (31:48):
And don't forget the candy.

Speaker 3 (31:50):
Oh the can.

Speaker 6 (31:50):
You gotta load up on the candy.

Speaker 3 (31:52):
You gotta. Yeah, Bill loves the can.

Speaker 1 (31:53):
Come morning, guys. In my opinion, if people can put
their Christmas decorations up two months in advance, then I
can put my Halloween decorations up two months in advance.
Halloween is the new Christmas in my opinion.

Speaker 18 (32:05):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (32:05):
Absolutely.

Speaker 6 (32:06):
Who do you think wins Halloween or Christmas? I think
more people do Christmas than Halloween, but I think Halloween
is growing.

Speaker 18 (32:12):
Well.

Speaker 10 (32:12):
The thing about Halloween is you can kind of get
away depending on the decorations. It's more fall inspired, so
Halloween can be generic like people fall, like scarecrows.

Speaker 6 (32:21):
That's it's like harvest fall. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (32:25):
Yeah, people love Halloween. Right, and you know Salem, Mass
obviously is the big Halloweens even like our friends Salem
Waterfront Hotel, Right, so you know I have relationship with them.
I'm the voice of the Salem Waterfront Hotel. So I
said to Mike Rocket, who owns it, he goes you
any time you need need a reservation, just call me,
I said, okay. So then I called him last year

(32:45):
and I go handing the reservation for October.

Speaker 13 (32:49):
He was like, yeah, what are you crazy? Ye book
it's booked a year in advance. Yeah, it's been booked
for months and months. And by the way, I'll use
this opportunity to promote Wicked Night at the Salem water
Hotel that I host every year, and it's happening again
this year, bigger and better than ever, and the entire
hotel is newly renovated.

Speaker 2 (33:07):
Are you are you going to get the shrink shrink,
shrunken head cost them.

Speaker 6 (33:10):
I'm thinking about it.

Speaker 3 (33:11):
You should yeah, yeah, you.

Speaker 5 (33:12):
Should get it before it sells out.

Speaker 6 (33:14):
Bill, I know you've been online.

Speaker 5 (33:16):
You probably already want four. Now there's a limit, you
can only buy all.

Speaker 6 (33:19):
They have it. Spirit of Halloween, Yeah, they have it.

Speaker 3 (33:22):
Okay.

Speaker 18 (33:23):
On the topic of decorating too early for Halloween, my
mother in law has a life size Michael Myers figurine
who lives in the basin in a closet and on
September first every year he comes upstairs and joins us
in the living room next to the window, so all
the neighbors can be terrified.

Speaker 6 (33:44):
Oh man, that's creepy.

Speaker 3 (33:46):
Oh the scariest haunted house I ever went in.

Speaker 2 (33:49):
See a lot of times you go to these haunted houses,
so many people right, you'reing these big lines, so the
scares happen in front of you. But I went to
one when it was just about closing and there was
nobody in there. And at one point we walked into
a room and the lights went dark. You couldn't see
it to feel your way out, and then a strobe
light kicked on and there was a life size Michael

(34:09):
Myers standing there.

Speaker 3 (34:10):
It was crazy. Yeah, I can't wait for the haunted houses.

Speaker 15 (34:13):
There's a house in Abington that has about four skeletons outside.

Speaker 8 (34:17):
Started for Halloween, but they've just.

Speaker 5 (34:19):
Kept it year round and now they do fun themes.

Speaker 11 (34:21):
They have a summer theme, they dress them up for
Christmas and right now they have on free Karen research,
so welcome.
