Speaker 3 (00:56):
Slash Legends, leave us a talkback, Leave justin a talkback
and give us a reason why you think that we
should feature and celebrate someone in your life that is
doing great things, someone that doesn't get any recognition, someone
that's just doing working really hard, doing a good job.
You want to see them get the recognition they deserve
(01:18):
because we will have them on the radio, we will
visit them, and we will also give them something.
Speaker 5 (01:24):
Special, Yeah, a little gift as a thank you. And
this could be a teacher, a nurse, a bus driver,
anybody you know in the community that's kind of doing
something that you feel deserves some kind of recognition.
Speaker 1 (01:36):
And the entire show will come to where you are.
We're going to surpast you with your absolutely.
Speaker 2 (01:40):

people out there, amazing listeners.
Speaker 5 (01:48):
We're going to start moving on this very soon. We've
already picked a couple. So if you want to get
your submission in, do it now, and how do they
do that? Kis wantawait dot com, slash legend or you
can leave a talk back. Producer Riley is kind of
keeping track of those, okay, but make sure you explain too.
Don't just say I want to nominate this person. We
need an explanation because we're going to be looking through
(02:09):
them and picking out the ones that kind of stand
out to us.
Speaker 1 (02:12):
Okay, and right now we're looking for caller twenty five
on the jingle Ball Jackpond. I can look through the
glass in at the command center and Producer Riley is
all over. She's having lengthy conversations, which means we may
or may not have a very good winner.
Speaker 6 (02:27):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (02:27):
Well, you know what's funny is that, you know we
do it on the tens, right, right, at least on
the tens. Yeah, but people start calling fifteen minutes early
going crazy.
Speaker 2 (02:36):
Yeah, poor Riley.
Speaker 1 (02:37):
She's say, okay, I got it, I got it, I
got it. Okay, Alexia, Good morning Alexia. Okay, good morning Alexia.
Speaker 2 (02:49):
Where were you?
Speaker 5 (02:51):

Speaker 5 (02:55):
All congratulations to Alexia. She was called twenty five. Please
call back producer Riley. We'll get all your information. You
win the jingle Ball tickets and you qualified for that
jingle ball she had.
Speaker 2 (03:08):

Speaker 5 (03:08):
Riley puts her through a good point.
Speaker 7 (03:10):
Yeah, come on, oh you've gene too nice. Okay, fine,
he's mister nice she's the winner.
Speaker 2 (03:18):
Okay, there you go, she is the winner.
Speaker 5 (03:20):
Nineten is your next shout at the jingle Ball Jackpots.
We do have weird stories coming up, but we have
to do this again. Pay tribute to Liam Payne, dead
at thirty one years old in Argentina yesterday. We've been
talking about it all morning long, kind of remembering Liam.
And of course he's known for being in one direction
and this is a classic rate here, what makes you beautiful?
(03:42):
Kiss went away?
Speaker 7 (03:43):
Kiss went away?
Speaker 2 (03:44):
Jeans a little weird too.
Speaker 4 (03:46):
Oh my god, it's.
Speaker 2 (03:48):
Time for weird stories.
Speaker 7 (03:50):
I'm pretty creepy.
Speaker 4 (03:50):
With Billy and Lisa in the morning.
Speaker 3 (03:53):
Okay, So, a woman from a Charlotte, sorry, a woman
named Charlotte from Wichita, Kansas suffered a stroke or a
heart attack a few years ago. Her heart stopped for
a full eleven minutes. She was literally declared clinically dead.
But she's also sharing the details now of what happened
and what she remembers.
Speaker 8 (04:13):
God took me to the hill and I look down
and the smell and then rotten flesh. That's what it
smell like, and screamed after seeing the beauty of Piven.
The contrast is seeing hill is almost unbearable.
Speaker 1 (04:30):
Oh my godh my god, she saw heaven and hell yeah,
good about that.
Speaker 7 (04:35):
I know she said I saw the thing.
Speaker 6 (04:37):
She said that God said that if people don't change
their ways, that's where they're going.
Speaker 5 (04:42):
Okay, I don't believe this story.
Speaker 2 (04:45):
I don't either.
Speaker 5 (04:45):
I don't.
Speaker 1 (04:45):
I don't know, I don't, but I've got one from
Montclair in New Jersey, a woman posted a video of
herself tearing down a banner string of Israeli flags.
Speaker 2 (04:56):
This was outside a restaurant and when.
Speaker 1 (04:58):
The staff walked out to fronter, she rants about Israel,
only to find out it's a Greek restaurant and the
flags were of Greece.
Speaker 7 (05:12):
I don't stand it for this. There's been aside. I
don't support it. This is not okay.
Speaker 1 (05:17):
This is freaky.
Speaker 2 (05:18):
Who's this?
Speaker 5 (05:19):
This is freaky?
Speaker 9 (05:20):
What greaky?
Speaker 2 (05:22):
Oh nos, Israel.
Speaker 5 (05:27):
Can't Oh man, o, my god, poor Greek restaurant.
Speaker 2 (05:32):
Go ahead? Why okay?
Speaker 7 (05:33):
This is a hot story.
Speaker 6 (05:35):
So America's best restroom goes to a gas station in
Salt Lake, sitting near the airport. It's called Maverick Gas
and they have deemed the best restroom in America.
Speaker 5 (05:47):
Yeah, cleanest best restaurant.
Speaker 10 (05:49):
So down the street where I work right now, there's
the outhouses, but they're hot, stinky, and I mean covered
in whatever have you and stuff wife on whatever wall.
So it is nice to have, you know, just for
minutes down the road, be able to stopline, have an
experienced pay seed.
Speaker 3 (06:04):
We base it on a criteria of cleanliness, visual appeal, functionality, innovation,
and unique design elements.
Speaker 5 (06:11):
I pulled this story because I find myself judging establishments
on their restroom.
Speaker 2 (06:16):
Oh yeah, well it's fun thirty.
Speaker 6 (06:18):
You know, it's funny you said it because a few
weeks ago I went to a gas station restroom and
I had no high hopes for it. It was four seasons,
which is like a gas station en Route one in
like I think it was Westwood, and literally they had
the nicest bathroom, clean as a whistle.
Speaker 4 (06:32):
They're stepping up their game, like high tech.
Speaker 5 (06:35):
Yeah. I look at things like is the trash overflowing?
You know? Is the even the paper towels? Nice paper towels.
So you want the best restroom, they.
Speaker 4 (06:43):
Go travel out there in a gas station.
Speaker 5 (06:47):
How about this one? Mariah Carey, she sat down for
a podcast with Bowen Yang. It's an iHeart podcast, by
the way, it's pretty good. Anyway, She's still talking about
this nineteen ninety five grunge album. This is like an
urban legend of hers what she's been talking about. She
recorded the grunge album, it never got released, and now
she's saying that she might release it, and some of
(07:07):
it actually did get released. We have a piece of it.
This is from nineteen ninety five Marahy Carrey doing grunge.
You know, maybe it should stay in the vaults.
Speaker 7 (07:25):
I really didn't sound like her at all.
Speaker 2 (07:28):
I don't know. I kind of like it.
Speaker 5 (07:29):
Oh you do?
Speaker 1 (07:30):
Yeah, yeah, right, wonder whatever happened to that band?
Speaker 5 (07:39):
We might see a release on that.
Speaker 2 (07:41):
We said, yeah, absolutely, pretty good.
Speaker 1 (07:44):
We're coming up on entertainment obviously, we're talking about Liam
Payne all morning at thirty one years old. Sadly, tragically
he died in Buenos Aires. So we've got the story.
We will pay tribute and honor and celebrate the very
very talent to Liam Payne.
Speaker 2 (08:01):
That's coming up next time.
Speaker 3 (08:04):
We're back with Billy and Lisa in the Morning on
Kids Want to Lee.
Speaker 2 (08:08):
Well, let's go justin. Let's kick it off with the
talk pack or two.
Speaker 11 (08:11):
Go ahead, Good morning, guys, might hear I'm just catching
up from yesterday's show. So I was just listening to
yesterday's show. I just want to know, did Justin get
his handle?
Speaker 10 (08:27):
Bill?
Speaker 11 (08:27):
He not bringing back any presents?
Speaker 2 (08:30):
Give the kid his handle? Will you? Billy?
Speaker 5 (08:32):
Come on? Well, it wasn't just me, It was promised
to Lisa and Winnie as well. Bill. If you don't
know what he's talking about, if you missed yesterday's show,
Billy lost his luggage, got it back, but on the
way back, they lost your luggage. And he told us
when he got back that our gifts from Africa Zimbabwe
were in the luggage. So then yesterday the luggage was found.
(08:53):
So we said, that's awesome, we can have our gifts.
And then at the gifts that he lied. No, no,
it was really kidding about.
Speaker 1 (09:00):
I knew I got Lisa a hat, okay because she
loves hats, but not even a T shirt?
Speaker 2 (09:07):
But am I really going to get a T shirt
from the bush? What are you going to do?
Speaker 5 (09:11):
I'm never going to Africa, Okay, I'm.
Speaker 1 (09:13):
Telling you all right, We're coming up on Friday tomorrow.
There will be a Hondo for each of you.
Speaker 4 (09:18):
And don't forget producer y.
Speaker 2 (09:20):
What's her name over there?
Speaker 3 (09:23):
Okay, now the entertainment update with a Billy Godstad.
Speaker 1 (09:29):
We have a really tragic story to deal with this morning.
It's really so sad. Liam Payne from One Direction, thirty
one years old, is dead this morning. It's still unbelievable
to even say that, but at thirty one years old.
They say he fell from a third floor balcony his
hotel room in Buenos Aires. There have been reports, I
(09:50):
don't want to talk about the gossipy end of it,
but there have been reports that it was acting erradically
and kind of out of control and the hotel had
to call nine to one one.
Speaker 3 (10:00):
Those are all facts that he was acting in such
a way that they felt like they needed to call
the police.
Speaker 1 (10:05):
Yeah, they're saying that he may have smashed up his
room and everything. But its Liam did post something apparently
one maybe two hours before his death.
Speaker 2 (10:18):
And we've got a.
Speaker 12 (10:18):
Quick moaning everybody his little video of me a lovely
day here Argentina.
Speaker 4 (10:25):
And this is where go ahead, LEAs just hearing that
makes me so sad.
Speaker 1 (10:29):
Yeah, and this is where it gets a little weird too.
A former girlfriend says that Liam used to talk about
death a lot.
Speaker 13 (10:37):
He would always message me ever since we broke up, like, oh,
I'm not well. He would always play with death and
be like, well, I'm going to die. I'm not doing well.
I know the lifestyle he lives, and there is where
something bad is going to happen. So I would always
be like, Okay, he's.
Speaker 4 (10:53):
Saying these things.
Speaker 13 (10:54):
I have to help him because if I don't, I
will never be able to live with myself if something
does happen to him.
Speaker 5 (11:00):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (11:00):
Liam Payney got his start on The X Factor. By
the way, he was only fourteen years old at the time,
and we've got a clip of his performance.
Speaker 2 (11:09):
And cried telling me horrib.
Speaker 1 (11:16):
Why horrib are you.
Speaker 11 (11:24):
Quit me?
Speaker 1 (11:30):
Well, I think about it. If One Direction hadn't happened,
he could have had like a Michael Bublay kind of
a career. Yeah. He has a really good voice, Yeah,
a lot of range. But after several years with One Direction,
he had a solo career. Don't Forget. His first album
launched his first song, strip that Down Here it is
you don't.
Speaker 14 (11:48):
I ever win?
Speaker 15 (11:48):
The music style become a strip that Down for me? Baby,
There's a lot of people here in the crowd boat on.
You can answer me, So put your hands on my
body and swing that down from me.
Speaker 2 (12:00):
Yeah, that was a jam. That was a big him Guavo.
Speaker 1 (12:08):
He came to Kiss Cancer and I think it was
twenty seventeen, right, Jess, right, Yeah, and he talked about
the band and whether they had really broken up.
Speaker 2 (12:17):
And all of us have really left.
Speaker 12 (12:19):
It's on hiatus, which at first I thought was some
sort of religious term.
Speaker 2 (12:24):
We're all still very much together.
Speaker 12 (12:25):
I think it's nice that we're all getting to explore
our own areas of music. I like everyone's going about
it in their own way.
Speaker 2 (12:31):
You know, Nile came.
Speaker 12 (12:32):
Out first, and he's doing the single song, right, we
sort of stuff, and you know, Harry has this this
different seventies rock thing that he's doing, and then my
thing's totally different to what those guys are doing.
Speaker 9 (12:42):
You know.
Speaker 1 (12:43):
It's funny because that same year he came here into
the studios and I got a text early this morning
from my niece Michelle and her husband Mike.
Speaker 2 (12:52):
Their kids were very young at the time, and they
called and they said, Hey, any chance we can come
in the building.
Speaker 1 (12:57):
I know Liam's coming and I allowed them to come
in the building and they just this morning sent me
cool pictures they had taken with Liam and said he
was the nicest guy in the world.
Speaker 5 (13:05):
Such a nice guy. I know, you know, he had
his demons, but every time that he came here or
our concerts, even in the hotel lobby. Yeah, the day
he yesterday, he was taking pictures with the fans, signing things.
So yeah, it's just really shocking.
Speaker 2 (13:19):
It's that can I get another One Direction song? Is
that too much to ask?
Speaker 5 (13:23):
Do you have a special request?
Speaker 1 (13:24):
But you get me any one you want, man.
Speaker 5 (13:39):
I mean, there was so massive One Direction. I remember
Camilla Cabello, you know, she was a big fan, and
she talked about going to one of their shows and
actually peeing her pants.
Speaker 16 (13:48):
I remember they had this concert in Miami and during
the countdown, I keep my pants of excitement straight up,
keep my pants.
Speaker 2 (13:55):
Well, the scream was going like ten and I'm like
and I'm like, oh my god, I y.
Speaker 3 (14:03):
I can remember seeing them at Gillette coming back and
telling you, Billy, I totally get it.
Speaker 4 (14:09):
I get the whole thing.
Speaker 5 (14:10):
They're amazing.
Speaker 7 (14:11):
I was literally up in the sky for that concert.
Speaker 6 (14:13):
It didn't matter, you still felt like you were, like,
it was a really great show.
Speaker 1 (14:18):
And it's amazing when you think about one direction when
you hear the music like we are this morning boy,
they had kiss one of weight written all over them. Yeah,
and to sit here and relive one direction and Liam's
it's almost like, you know, going to a memorial, a
really nice memorial where people just get up and they
tell great stories.
Speaker 5 (14:37):
Yeah, rest in peace.
Speaker 2 (14:38):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (14:40):
Anyway, there was a scary moment for Nick Jonas. Yes,
he was in Prague and some idiot in the crowd
was lasering. That is so dangerous and so idiotic. But anyway,
he was smart. Instantly he booked off the stage. Yeah,
and started calling time out, time out. It was like
(15:00):
a ten minute break, fifteen minute breaking the show.
Speaker 7 (15:02):
Do you think he thought it like it was it
was a weapon.
Speaker 5 (15:05):
I think he was just being cautious, right, yeah, yeah,
these days and.
Speaker 4 (15:08):
The fact that he knew what to do to get
off the stage.
Speaker 2 (15:11):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (15:11):
Goodh The Aria on the grounde hosted Saturday Night Live
the other night was the most watched episode in more
than three years, five point six million of US watching
and five hundred and sixteen million views. You knew when
you saw that episode, right at least it was it
was a special episode.
Speaker 2 (15:30):
And this is a really cool story. There's this guy,
a songwriter, Evan Bogart.
Speaker 1 (15:36):
He wrote Rihanna's song so Os and revealed some very
cool information about it.
Speaker 16 (15:41):
Well.
Speaker 17 (15:41):
Second verse of that song is eighty song titles strung
together as sentences.
Speaker 5 (15:45):
Because I thought it would be super clever.
Speaker 17 (15:47):
Take on me, Aha, you know inside you feel it
right now? Take me on. I could just die up
in your arms tonight. I melt with you. You got
me head over heels, tell me the boy, you keep
me hanging on the way, you make me feel hanging
on the way.
Speaker 5 (16:08):
They're all number one songs from the eighties.
Speaker 2 (16:10):
That's incredible. I had no idea.
Speaker 5 (16:12):
One does No, one does. Yeah, that video is everywhere
on social media. My question is how did it take
this long?
Speaker 16 (16:18):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (16:18):
People for him to sit and people just figure it out.
Speaker 4 (16:21):
It's the best story.
Speaker 1 (16:22):
Yeah, And I know he's very talented and very known,
but how is he not more of a household name.
Speaker 5 (16:28):
He wrote Halo from He's written at a lot of songs,
all right.
Speaker 1 (16:32):
The extended family of the menendees of Brothers are still
demanding they'd be released from prison.
Speaker 2 (16:38):
This was their sister outside the court house.
Speaker 9 (16:40):
The truth is Lyon and Eric were failed by the
very people who should have projected them, by their parents,
by the system, by society at large.
Speaker 6 (16:49):
I just I can't. I still have an issue with
this woman talking. That's his that's their aunt, it's their
mom's sister. And I just I'm an aunt and I
feel like I would be able to pick up his
thing was going on with.
Speaker 7 (17:01):
My nieces like it just I don't know.
Speaker 6 (17:03):
It makes me kind of mad that she probably could
have done something or looked into it, and she did it.
Speaker 2 (17:07):
And according to the story, it went on for a
long time. Yeah, it did.
Speaker 3 (17:10):
One of the family members did testify to the fact
that that Lyle told her he was being molested by
his dad when he was like eight years old. That
was in the first trial, her testimony, but was not
allowed in the second trial.
Speaker 5 (17:22):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (17:23):
And the latest reports say the menandez brothers could be
out of prison by Thanksgiving.
Speaker 5 (17:27):
I could totally see that happening.
Speaker 2 (17:28):
Which would be another big story.
Speaker 1 (17:32):
So Billie Eilish, ALESI you got to get on this, Okay,
Billy Eilish, she was just in town.
Speaker 7 (17:37):

and you're right, we all need a pair of Converse.

Speaker 5 (18:32):

Speaker 6 (18:37):

been he's been posting her Oh we got his Instagram

Speaker 7 (18:43):
And now I know, I'm so excited for it.

what they say, Bill.
Speaker 2 (18:49):

clip yet.
Speaker 5 (18:55):

you a few days to kind of get over the
jet lag from the trip, holland the ticket to get.
Speaker 2 (20:44):
Back about twenty hours.
Speaker 5 (20:47):
Okay. So for people that are just tuning in for
the first time, Billy did not want to go on
this trip. He was doing it for his wife, Michelle.
But he had an amazing time. You called it life changing.
Speaker 1 (20:57):
Life changing, mind altering, tripleble lifetime. Also so educational, very educational,
that's right.
Speaker 5 (21:04):
And so I got some some questions here. Okay, how
much you were paying attention when you were in Zimbabwe?
Speaker 2 (21:10):
All right?
Speaker 5 (21:10):
Are you ready? These are basic questions. They're not meant
to trick you. Okay, okay, so get ready. Question one,
Billy costas, Zimbabwe is home to one of the seven
natural Wonders of the World. Can you name Victoria Falls? Okay,
there you go, you're on the board. But that was
the first place that you visited, Yes, it was.
Speaker 2 (21:29):
It was beautiful, by the way.
Speaker 4 (21:31):
You guys can play along at home.
Speaker 5 (21:33):
That's right.
Speaker 2 (21:34):
Yeah, you can play the home version. A lot of
people have the home version right there at the house.
Speaker 5 (21:38):
You can do what I like to do. Root against Billy.
I'm not too all right, bild. Question two? Which animal
can be found in Zimbabwe? That's the largest land mammal.
That would be the hippopotamus. That would be the elephant.
That's right.
Speaker 1 (21:59):
By the way where I was at Hamongi National Park.
Sixty seven thousand.
Speaker 5 (22:04):
Elephants in that one park at the videos you posted
there on your Instagram, the Billy Costa, the Baby Elephants.
I can't stop watching.
Speaker 2 (22:12):
They're so adorable, unbelievable.
Speaker 7 (22:15):
I just know how Billy is playing alone in my
still might lose.
Speaker 5 (22:19):
Maybe we'll see, all right, Billy, he is boarded by
four different countries. Can you name one?
Speaker 2 (22:29):
Zambia?
Speaker 13 (22:31):
That is.
Speaker 5 (22:33):
Any others?
Speaker 1 (22:34):
How about Johannesburg That would be incorrect, actually Nigeria incorrect.
Just stop all your stop, all your point. That's incredible.
Speaker 2 (22:49):
Shop stop you had I got the answer right.
Speaker 16 (22:52):
You did?
Speaker 5 (22:52):
Did Yeah? Other countries are South Africa, Botswana and Mozim,
Moses Mozim.
Speaker 6 (23:00):
Johannesburg is not a country, but I was very close
to Botswana, and Johannesburg is in South Africa.
Speaker 5 (23:05):
Yeah, okay, these are gonna get a little harder here, Billy.
True or false? Zimbabwe was the last African state to
achieve independence from Great Britain. True or false?
Speaker 2 (23:15):
Absolutely true?
Speaker 5 (23:18):
That is true, Great Joe, I was a part of it.
I was there. Yeah.
Speaker 7 (23:20):
I know you said when you came you liberate them.
Speaker 5 (23:24):
I know you said when you came back you had
no money on you, no physical money, and you love that.
Speaker 2 (23:29):
That was one of the best things about being there.
Speaker 1 (23:32):
Never in the entire trip did I ever have a
nickel in my pocket or a credit card.
Speaker 5 (23:36):
M well, I'll ask you this question. What is the
local currency used in Zimbabwe?
Speaker 2 (23:42):
Oh? I know that? Uh refs, refs, refs.
Speaker 5 (23:47):
Is that your final answer? Yes?
Speaker 2 (23:49):
It is?
Speaker 5 (23:49):
Okay, incorrect. It is the Zimbabwean dollar, which is called
that's what it's called.
Speaker 2 (23:58):
No, what goes by? There's a name.
Speaker 7 (24:00):
It probably is, like, yeah, I'll look at it.
Speaker 5 (24:01):
I'm going to declare myself right. Oh you know what, Bill,
you got that one right? All right, here we go,
let's finish these up. Zimbabwe Billy Costa holds the world
record as the country with the most official languages, which
is sixteen. Can you name one?
Speaker 2 (24:18):
Oh?
Speaker 5 (24:20):
Sixteen official languages? Can you name one?
Speaker 2 (24:25):
Um?
Speaker 4 (24:27):
Hold on, just go with your gut.
Speaker 2 (24:28):
English is one of them.
Speaker 5 (24:31):
English is one, Thank you.
Speaker 2 (24:33):
Everybody speaks English.
Speaker 5 (24:34):
It's the only one I recognized.
Speaker 2 (24:36):
Oh when they have a beautiful accent.
Speaker 5 (24:38):
By the way, one of the sixteen is sign language.
Oh wow, that's cool. That is cool.
Speaker 7 (24:43):
But by the way, that dollar, the zimbabwe dollars, I was.
Speaker 5 (24:46):
Close zig Okay, we'll give you the point. Okay, give
you the point. All right, couple more before we go
go to call it twenty five? Here, which animal is
the national symbol of Zimbabwe? Would it be Billy, the rhino,
the zebra or the stable antelope.
Speaker 2 (25:01):
I'm gonna go with the antelope. Wow. I became very
close to the antelopes.
Speaker 5 (25:09):
Wow. Fair to say, Billy. I think you're an expert. Now, okay,
very good. Great job. You actually learned something and you
retained it and then did it.
Speaker 2 (25:17):
All right, let's go to Lauren. Lauren is in Mansfield. Oh,
that's the home of the Exfinity Center. Hey, Lauren, hie Laura,
do you know the keyword.
Speaker 16 (25:28):
Zimbabwe?
Speaker 2 (25:29):
Zimbabwe? Yes?
Speaker 1 (25:30):
And now you got your self repaired tickets for the
jingle Ball December fifteenth. But byde put Lauren, you're qualifying
for the jackpot. So you could get four front row
seats and you'll have a shot at one hundred eight
thousand dollars.
Speaker 2 (25:43):
Congratulations and good luck, thank you. Okay, that was uneventful.
Speaker 5 (25:49):
She'll be happy if she went to the jackpot. Trust me,
McKay is your next shot at twelve ten for the jackpot.
But coming up next the wrap up Kiss Went.
Speaker 2 (25:58):
Away, Kids Went Away.
Speaker 4 (26:00):
It's the morning wrap up on Billy and Lisa in
the morning.
Speaker 5 (26:04):
So sad day this morning. You know, these are the
shows that are sometimes tough to do, especially when it
comes to death. Liam Payne dead at thirty one years old.
He fell off a hotel balcony in Argentina. Yesterday's happened
around five o'clock. I think everybody waking up today, last
night and today just shocked by it.
Speaker 17 (26:23):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (26:23):
I mean so many people you know, young or old,
but especially on the younger and grew up with one direction.
Yeah right, they were the soundtrack to their childhood. So
just a terrible story.
Speaker 11 (26:33):
Rip is anyone else just so completely and utterly shocked
by the depth of Liam Payne. It just feels so
surreal he should have had such.
Speaker 16 (26:44):
A long life.
Speaker 11 (26:45):
Yeah, I just can't even process it at all.
Speaker 5 (26:49):
Yeah, not sadness is overwhelming, and obviously any loss of life,
but also his child. Yeah, the dad, a young dad
to a young child. You know, it's just really sad.
And so you know, all the tributes are coming in
and of course all the details are going to come
out about you know, what happened, why it happened and
all that stuff, but the basic, you know, the story
is he lost his life. It's just terribly tragic.
Speaker 9 (27:11):
So what happened with Liam is just it's it's just
there are no words. But my sister in law actually
lives a few blocks away from the hotel there in Palermo.
It's a neighborhood that's very similar to like the North
End in Boston, and said, it's it's just been it's.
Speaker 7 (27:31):
Just been awful.
Speaker 9 (27:32):
It's just it's such a shock and there's just fans
everywhere just grieving. It's it's been really hard.
Speaker 2 (27:40):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (27:40):
Since it happened in Buenos Aires, you know, fans have
been gathered around the hotel and the tributes have been
pouring in from around the world. And again I mentioned
this earlier. You think of One Direction and you hear
the music such a part of Kiss one to Wait.
Oh yeah, you know what I mean, just such a
huge part of the station.
Speaker 5 (27:56):
Oh yeah, I mean we we played some one Direction
song in the songs this morning. We'll do it all
day on Kiss Went Away. But yeah, rest in peace,
Liam Payne dead at thirty one. This was a really
cool story. You had an entertainment Bill. This is all
over the internet. The Rihanna story. So, the writer of
s O S, one of her early hits, revealed this week.
I don't know know how anybody did not figure this out.
(28:17):
The second verse, it's just a bunch of eighties song
titles that he puts together. I'm not kidding.
Speaker 17 (28:22):
The whole second verse of that song is eighties song
titles strung together as sentences. Because I thought it would
be super clever. Take on me, Ah, you know inside
you feel it right, Take me on. I could just
die in your arms tonight. I melt with you. You
got me head over heels, the.
Speaker 5 (28:44):
Boy you keep me hanging on the way you make
me feel hanging on.
Speaker 6 (28:48):
The way you're.
Speaker 5 (28:50):
All number one songs from the eighties.
Speaker 2 (28:52):
That's incredible. I had no idea knowing that how.
Speaker 4 (28:55):
Many times, but it was so cleverly done. And the
fact that we're just finding about.
Speaker 1 (29:00):
This years later, how many times we all have heard
the song over and over and over again.
Speaker 5 (29:06):
It never dawned on it and sang along crazy crazy anyway.
We love stories like that.
Speaker 3 (29:12):
Hey, this is tatle great and we're back with Billy
and Lisa in the morning on Kiss one.
Speaker 2 (29:16):
O eight, Hey, Justin, you got some talkback leftovers in there?
Speaker 7 (29:20):
Burrun.
Speaker 5 (29:21):
Yeah, these are the leftovers, what's been left behind. You know,
throughout the show, people are always checking in on the
phone in the talk backs. We can't get to the mall.
So this is the moment for you to shine. Obviously.
The big tragic story, Liam Payne dead at thirty one
years old, happened in Argentina last night. It's just a
tragic story all around. Good morning team, Justin's British neighbor here, Justin,
(29:45):
please play.
Speaker 2 (29:45):
Some Liam Payne with Jay Balvin familiar.
Speaker 7 (29:49):
It's enhancing my workout this morning.
Speaker 5 (29:52):
Remember that one, Oh Liam Payne, Jayvalvin.
Speaker 2 (30:04):
Maybe they want to.
Speaker 5 (30:05):
Fit up there you go.
Speaker 4 (30:07):
That's a good workout song.
Speaker 5 (30:09):
Yeah, definitely, definitely. Yeah. We had Liam covering Pink earlier.
You know, we've been paying tribute all show along. That's
got a Christmas song. It's called All I Want for Christmas.
You might remember this one.
Speaker 14 (30:19):
We can make it.
Speaker 8 (30:24):
Do forever.
Speaker 5 (30:28):
For Christmas suit me and if you uh, you know,
want to pay tribute to Liam. There is a playlist
Liam Payne Paining playlist on the iHeart Radio right now.
Speaker 1 (30:40):
Oh good, good, good. Now, I don't want to derail
your train for a second. Here, could you give me
Liam doing Pink? Do you have an available.
Speaker 5 (30:48):
It'll take me a minute to pull it up.
Speaker 4 (30:49):
Yeah, but that was a beautiful Christmas Yeah, it.
Speaker 5 (30:53):
Was pretty good.
Speaker 13 (30:54):
Right.
Speaker 5 (31:05):
And yeah, as I mentioned, he did a cover of
Pink several years ago, we had it on this show.
We loved it then, you know what, we still love
it now?
Speaker 11 (31:12):
What about us?
Speaker 14 (31:14):
What about all the times you said you had the answer?
What about us? What about all the broken happier after?
Speaker 16 (31:26):
You know what?
Speaker 1 (31:27):
Every tribute clip that we play his death gets even sadder.
Speaker 5 (31:30):
I know, I know. It's a tough one today. It's
a tough one.
Speaker 4 (31:34):
It's deeply disturbing.
Speaker 5 (31:35):
It is so rest in peace to Liam Payne. Crazy.
Speaker 4 (31:39):
Hi, just listening to yesterday's episode. Justin If you have
a mouse that is not a thing.
Speaker 16 (31:45):
You need an exterminator immediately because you are infested with mice.
Been there, done that, and it's a nightmare. Get on it, Lisa.
If you need to replace your pumpkins, go to Walmart.
They are five dollars for huge pumpkins and they have
a ton of the way cheaper than the farms. Also,
I think I need a talk back name I called
in last week about the cheating husband, So my name
(32:06):
will be the man hater. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (32:10):
We talked about this on the show yesterday. Lisa and
I both are dealing with infestations. I have a mouse
or a family of mice, and Lisa has squirrels eatia pumpkins.
Speaker 4 (32:21):
Yeah, they've they've demolished them. I have to replace all
of them.
Speaker 5 (32:24):
Yeah, you can go to Walmart. Is that what she said?
Five five bucks?
Speaker 2 (32:27):
And have you considered gods?
Speaker 5 (32:31):
Yeah? And the mouse problem, it's ongoing at my house.
My wife is convinced it's only one mouse that we see.
He was he was out last night. What ran right
by me?
Speaker 1 (32:40):
Wow?
Speaker 5 (32:41):
But not only that. I suggested the exterminator and she's like,
absolutely not, I will catch the mic the mouse.
Speaker 7 (32:47):
Oh no, Well, your wife's the man of the house.
Speaker 5 (32:49):
She bought these crazy traps and she said what our
listener said yesterday, he's not eating the food on the
traps because he already has a food source. So she
has new traps coming.
Speaker 4 (33:01):
To Well, what's the food source?
Speaker 5 (33:05):
Yes, down so he eats downstairs.
Speaker 16 (33:08):
Right.
Speaker 5 (33:08):
And then also, I have a two year old crumbs everywhere.
My son, he's seven, he's dirty as ever.
Speaker 2 (33:15):
Promise me you won't harm the mouse.
Speaker 5 (33:18):
I can't promise that. I can't. I can't. Yeah, but anyway, Bill,
before we go, you do have some good news. Your luggage.
Oh my god, I've been delivered. I got to call
this morning Mike. When I called the number back because
he was trying to deliver it at the house. I
called and he said, I said, who says this is Mike?
He said, is this Billy Costa? Yeah, I just dropped
off your suitcase. Yeah. You your your suitcase did not
(33:41):
come back with you. It was lost on your way
back from Zimbabwe. Yes, but they tracked it down and
they got it. So shout out to Mike. That's good. Yeah.
Speaker 9 (33:49):
Last year we went to Sicily.
Speaker 3 (33:50):
We landed Sicily, no luggage, go the whole week, still
no luggage.
Speaker 16 (33:56):
We leave Sicily to come home.
Speaker 5 (33:58):
We landed JFK and there's a luggage.
Speaker 7 (34:03):
Our luggage went from JFK.
Speaker 11 (34:06):
Two Amsterdam and then back to JFK.
Speaker 2 (34:10):
I forgot to get on the Sisily late.
Speaker 5 (34:12):
So we think all of Bill's luggage is in the
in the suitcase.
Speaker 7 (34:16):
Oh know, if Mike was smart. He would have opened
it up until I wasn't there.
Speaker 5 (34:19):
Quiet you quiet left there from Mike right back? What's up?
Speaker 2 (34:25):
Boston?
Speaker 5 (34:25):
Us to kill Laury?
Speaker 10 (34:26):
And you're waking up with Billy and Lisa in the
morning on Kiss went away.
Speaker 5 (34:29):
Hey Lisa, how you doing?
Speaker 4 (34:31):
I'm good, kid, Luri, thanks for asking.
Speaker 2 (34:34):
Yeah, kid wants to know how you're doing.
Speaker 5 (34:37):
You you know what. He loved you so much. He's
coming back this year.
Speaker 17 (34:39):
He is m m uh.
Speaker 1 (34:41):
The jingle Ball Jackpot is going to continue. Okay, what
time we're doing the tickets again, justin twelve ten, twelve
ten with the Mighty one, the Mighty McCabe.
Speaker 2 (34:49):
Winnie, you have got an appearance today?
Speaker 6 (34:50):
Yes, I'm going to be at the Macy's in the
Cells Show Plaza the Branchy Mall from one to three
with the Street Team. We're giving away a bunch of
gift cards and we're celebrating because Mini is getting her
first ever float by herself in the parade, the Macys Parade.
So they're collabing and doing like apparel and accessory line
with Macy's.
Speaker 7 (35:08):
So it's like a Disney theme type.
Speaker 2 (35:10):
Of giant step forward.
Speaker 7 (35:12):
It's really awesome. So yeah, I'll be there from one
to three. Come by.
Speaker 6 (35:14):
We're giving out a ton of stuff and we'll be
right in the mall entrance there.
Speaker 1 (35:20):
Something we didn't get to this morning, Caitlyn Clark was
named to the All w NBA team, And obviously throughout
the day we'll continue the tribute for Liam Payne right.
Speaker 5 (35:29):
Justin absolutely yeah, absolutely, rest in peace.
Speaker 2 (35:33):
What a sad, sad, sad story.
Speaker 1 (35:35):
Anyway, we got to go because we have to make
way for the Mighty one and he will have jingle
Ball tickets in his pocket.
Speaker 2 (35:41):
We'll see you tomorrow, the Big Friday Show. By now,
