Speaker 1 (00:00):
Now best morning show in Boston, Billy and Lisa in
the morning. It's just a great start to my day
on kids to wait.
Speaker 2 (00:10):
Well, good morning, everybody. Welcome into the excuse me Billy
and Lisa Morning Show on a Tuesday morning. First things first,
can you believe the election is finally just one week
from today the madness comes to an end.
Speaker 3 (00:28):
I can't wait.
Speaker 2 (00:29):
Oh my god, this thing needs to be over.
Speaker 4 (00:32):
It's it's just dominating the news like it does every
every election season.
Speaker 3 (00:37):
But yeah, I can't wait for it to be Yeah.
Speaker 2 (00:39):
And then everybody shuts up and goes away. Yeah, that's
the plan. I think that's the plan.
Speaker 1 (00:44):
So the most important thing is get out and vote.
Speaker 2 (00:47):
Yes, you gotta get out and vote. We have some
very important ballot questions here in Massachusetts. We do Question five.
Speaker 3 (00:53):
Question five is a big one.
Speaker 2 (00:54):
Yeah, and.
Speaker 3 (00:57):
One on question five non.
Speaker 5 (01:00):
They had the polls no question five it's about tip
workers getting men on wage. Literally they're saying that some
of the pools are saying people are voting yes. And
I'm like, what poll is that Because every pole, everyone
I hear is saying no.
Speaker 2 (01:11):
I have never met a single person voting yes on.
Speaker 6 (01:15):
Quin I agree, But we did get some callers when
we discussed it a few weeks ago that were, yes.
Speaker 2 (01:21):
Well, I think some of you are misunderstanding.
Speaker 5 (01:22):
They think that, oh, well they're gonna get they're gonna
get fifteen dollars an hour plus tips, so make more money,
but you'll be less inclined to tip. Like you don't
tip McDonald's workers. You don't tip a lot of sometimes
your coffee, yeah, baristas, So you're less inclined to tip
when you know they're making a minimum wage like that.
Speaker 2 (01:37):
Yeah, So in all lines down this final week and
then next Tuesday is the election, the ballot questions, everything,
and then we all move on. Got to talk about
these brush fires? Are you kidding me? I was in
Salem Sunday and all of a sudden we were inundated
with smoke, you know, the fumes, you could smell it.
(02:00):
It was really, really strong, because the very first brush
fire was in Salem. It was, and then all of
a sudden there were brushfires more.
Speaker 6 (02:08):
Than fifty today too, because it's still dry leaves and
there's going to be a wind today.
Speaker 5 (02:14):
I live in Randolph and they're in Canton, in Stote,
and so I'm getting it from both sides.
Speaker 3 (02:18):
Yeah, I could smell it.
Speaker 1 (02:20):
We could smell it here when we were leaving.
Speaker 3 (02:22):
Yeah, it's scary, that's right.
Speaker 2 (02:23):
We were smelling it in the building yesterday. I kept saying,
what's burning. We're in the building.
Speaker 3 (02:30):
I'm like, what's burning?
Speaker 2 (02:31):
Middleton I think is the big one. Now they're actually
still trying to get that under control this morning. But
everywhere from Stoughton to Middleton to Canton, like you said, yeah,
Salem and Beverly, Oxford. Yeah, it's very dry.
Speaker 6 (02:43):
Well, we're supposed to get a little bit of rain tonight,
but not like drenching rain by all means.
Speaker 3 (02:48):
Very dry October. Yeah, very dry.
Speaker 2 (02:51):
You know when you see helicopters in the sky filling
six hundred gallon buckets of lake water, they're basically creating rain,
yes on these on these fire areas. So yeah, we
could very well leave work this morning and we'll be
smelling the brush fires again.
Speaker 4 (03:12):
Very dry. It's very dry out there. You know, you
hear about it in California. You know, you don't think
it has happened here, and now it's happening.
Speaker 2 (03:18):
Yeah, scary. So Giselle is pregnant, Yes, she is.
Speaker 6 (03:23):
Real oh boy, you know forty four Yeah, third child,
uh huh ye with Jaquim yep, the jiu jitsu instructor.
Speaker 2 (03:33):
Uh huh. Now at least so you know a lot
about relationships.
Speaker 3 (03:37):
Well one exactly what that means, but.
Speaker 2 (03:41):
I don't celebrity relationships. A lot of relationships. And then
there's that. Yeah, but how would you explain Tom Brady's
post yesterday? It seemed a little cryptic.
Speaker 6 (03:52):
Yeah, it's in his story if you if you follow
Tom Brady in his cryptic it's a landslide. It's a
cover that the Dixie Chicks did just looking at the.
Speaker 1 (04:02):
Sun and was at the sunset.
Speaker 2 (04:04):
Yeah, it was like nine hours.
Speaker 1 (04:05):
It looked like, you know, from his from his balcony somewhere. Yeah,
I was cryptic. I don't know.
Speaker 2 (04:11):
I mean.
Speaker 6 (04:13):
Again, you know, when your partner moves on before you
in such a big way, can be I think something
that needs to settle in.
Speaker 2 (04:24):
And with who?
Speaker 5 (04:24):
Because it's very much speculated that she did cheat, right
because he was a friend of the family. Essentially, he
was the family jiu jitsu instructor or.
Speaker 3 (04:32):
They were still married to the house basically, Yeah, Tom
encouraged her to start jiu jitsu guy.
Speaker 1 (04:41):
That a lot more than self defense.
Speaker 2 (04:45):
Physical contact and the rolling around and they grappling, grappling
and everything. It's got to lead to, you know, all
of a sudden something moves.
Speaker 1 (04:53):
Well yeah, and then it came up in the roast,
the Tom Brady roast.
Speaker 2 (04:56):
Oh yeah, a lot, a lot, yeah.
Speaker 5 (04:58):
Which they're saying she's five to six months pregnant. So
if you do the math, she got pregnant right around
that time, a little before that.
Speaker 2 (05:06):
So, and the weird thing is, I don't think anybody
thought that was really serious that she you know, like
it was just the thing, what the jiu jitsu was.
Speaker 5 (05:14):
She's very spiritual and very like I feel like everything
for her is very deep, you know what I mean,
like the sun in the moon in the clouds, like
that's where he I feel like Tom picked it up
and like they like, she's very much one with everything,
and I feel like she was going to embark on
something with this man.
Speaker 2 (05:28):
It was going to be all encompassing for her.
Speaker 1 (05:30):
Well, he's almost he's like ten years younger than she is,
I think, even like more.
Speaker 2 (05:34):
Yeah, he's like barely thirty.
Speaker 4 (05:36):
I think the other issue too, is that you know
She's obviously with that guy and pregnant, but Tom's not
with anybody.
Speaker 3 (05:42):
Yeah, well, not that we know, making on the door
all the time.
Speaker 2 (05:48):
Yeah, but listen, as far as I'm concerned, Giselle wants
to have a baby.
Speaker 1 (05:53):
But not congratulations, you know what exactly? Why not graduation?
Speaker 2 (05:56):
What I'm really wanting to know is, was the child's
consumed during a grapple?
Speaker 3 (06:03):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (06:04):
Conceived? I've never nobody consumed the child?
Speaker 3 (06:09):
Well, what do you know?
Speaker 2 (06:11):
At least so you know a lot about relationships happened
during a grapple.
Speaker 5 (06:20):
Yeah, well, Bill, yes, that's how kids are made.
Speaker 3 (06:23):
That's consumed her he did, literally.
Speaker 2 (06:29):
Yeah. But anyway, that as a big buzz story this morning.
But we've got entertainment coming out a lot of big stories.
The Menendez brother is getting closer and closer to possibly
being let out of jail. And you'll never believe one
of the guys who made the difference in this decision.
He sent a letter on behalf of the Menendez brothers
(06:53):
justin you know who I'm talking about.
Speaker 3 (06:55):
I do.
Speaker 2 (06:55):
We're talking hardcore and we've got that and what do
you know, there's a boy band documentary on the way
and We're loving it. It's all next stand by from.
Speaker 1 (07:04):
The Planet Fitness, Kiss one Await Studios.
Speaker 6 (07:07):
We're back with a Billy and Lisa in the morning
on Kiss.
Speaker 2 (07:12):
Hey, guys, welcome in. It's the Billy At least the
morning show on a Tuesday. We do have the jingle
Ball Jackpot. We'll be doing that at seven ten, eight ten,
and nine ten. You want to wake up the Mafia, buddy, heybody,
you want to wake up the mafia. You were in
there dancing. What were you dancing?
Speaker 4 (07:28):
That wasn't me dancing. That was me trying to get
everything together. Oh okay, a thousand things at once.
Speaker 2 (07:34):
I thought you would danceing and some hardcore rappers.
Speaker 4 (07:37):
Well, there was some wrap, some wrap songs playing. We'll
get to that in the entertainment. But yes, you can
check in on the talkback Mike. Do it on the
iHeartRadio app. Tap the red microphone and let us know
where you are and.
Speaker 3 (07:48):
What you are doing.
Speaker 7 (07:49):
Hey, morning crew, this is Cyan from Salem. I live
right around the corner from Mama, and all those wildfires
have caused my entire house to be filled with smoke.
The smell is horrendous. I worked from home yesterday because
I was still a little bit worried that I have
(08:10):
two for babies and I wanted to make sure everything
was good. But so far, so good.
Speaker 2 (08:16):
Yeah, that was the first of the wildfires.
Speaker 3 (08:19):
Land Avenue, the Walmart, every behind the Walmart.
Speaker 4 (08:21):
Yeah, yeah, you know you can smell it, and obviously
we can say it's like really scary, but imagine if
you live near there.
Speaker 1 (08:26):
Oh, very scary, I'll tell you. And the air quality
is bad.
Speaker 2 (08:30):
Yeah, downtown Salem was hit hard with the with the smoke.
Speaker 4 (08:34):
Yeah, that's the big story locally, Aaron Boston, big story
in entertainment though, of course.
Speaker 8 (08:38):
I have to answer Billy's question on how that child
was either consumed or conceived. And see, I'm a jiu
jitsu instructor, and I think Giselle's jiu jitsu instructor might
have been a little bit too literal when he was
giving her the lesson on how to do a rear
naked choke.
Speaker 1 (08:52):
Now, the entertainment update with a Billy Copstad, I didn't
know that was a move.
Speaker 2 (08:56):
Oh, that settles that.
Speaker 1 (08:57):
Yeah, it was the rear na.
Speaker 3 (09:00):
Show there and here we are hello.
Speaker 2 (09:05):
Yeah, let's start with sports. We got so much to
talk about. Starting with the Celtics, of course, still undefeated
this morning. They beat the Bucks last night one nineteen
one oh eight Jalen Brown at thirty points. Pritchard had
twenty eight, including another buzzer beater Richard springs Free.
Speaker 4 (09:21):
Here we go on their faces, his time, Pritcher fires.
Speaker 9 (09:28):
Pritcher.
Speaker 2 (09:33):
Preaching hour late in October, that pretching hour here he
is right here.
Speaker 10 (09:38):
I mean, honestly, I try to go into every game,
like with the confidence to be aggressive. Aggressive, so you know,
looking for opportunities to attack to get my shot off,
and then defensively just picking up and being like a pass. Obviously,
I'm not the biggest person in the world, so I'm
not gonna be able to bump down low or do
things like that. But it's really just about the energy
(09:59):
I gotta bring every game, especially coming off the bench.
You know, some nights are starters, they might have low energy.
It's a long season, so I gotta be responsible to
bring it that night.
Speaker 2 (10:08):
Yeah, he had eight threes on the night.
Speaker 3 (10:10):
I'm so happy for Peyton. I love him.
Speaker 2 (10:12):
Seems like a good guy. Didn't he stop at a
pickup game or play one on one? He started shooting around.
Speaker 4 (10:18):
Yeah, he played one on one with a kid that
was shooting basketball in Boston this past weekend.
Speaker 3 (10:22):
It was a really cool moment. His wife shot the
video of it.
Speaker 2 (10:25):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (10:26):
So they asked him that press conference too. They said,
you know, are you gonna stop and play with some
kids before every game?
Speaker 2 (10:30):
Yeah? Imagine the kid like two minutes and it's like, hey,
aren't you Bruin's gonna play the Flyers in the garden tonight.
I'll be at the game tonight between periods the booth.
Speaker 4 (10:44):
Yes, i am excuse me, Producer Riley, can we set
the DVR please?
Speaker 3 (10:49):
In the studio?
Speaker 1 (10:49):
Hey, guys, talking about the cook.
Speaker 2 (10:50):
But talking about the cookbook A Taste of Boston Billy
and Jenny And by the way, go to Amazon for
pre orders and we'll be having our launch in November thirteenth.
And we're on Lisa Dunovan's book Club November fourteenth.
Speaker 5 (11:03):
That's the big what those hardcore hockey fans want to
hear about.
Speaker 2 (11:07):
Oh, they're gonna hate it. Imagine imagine you.
Speaker 3 (11:10):
Know what it is though, it's Billy living out his childhood.
It is.
Speaker 2 (11:15):
It's cool, you know, it's different though at least the
Bruins when we go on it's between periods. The Red
Sox is annoying to Socks fans because we're talking about
nothing while the game's going on, and you could miss
a home run or a three run triple or oh
the way the season went that you wear it kind
of miss no. So anyway, Bruins Flyers tonight I think
(11:37):
will be between periods. One of that.
Speaker 1 (11:39):
I can't wait to tune in.
Speaker 2 (11:41):
Yeah, you really need to tune in your Boston Bruins.
Speaker 3 (11:44):
Oh, you can tune in tomorrow and hear the highlights.
Speaker 2 (11:47):
All low lights. I'm sure Dodgers could win the World
Series tonight. They lead the series three games. If Freddy
Freeman had another home run last night. This guy's on fire.
Speaker 3 (11:56):
Oh god, I love Freddy Freeman. I'm his biggest fan.
Speaker 2 (11:58):
Now, so we could have a World Series champion two night.
Steelers beat the Giants last night. I'm sure Tim Dunovan
was happy.
Speaker 6 (12:07):
So happy. And Russell Wilson is their quarterback. Oh yeah,
and he's doing quite well.
Speaker 2 (12:11):
Yeah, of course the Dunovan's or a Steelers family.
Speaker 1 (12:14):
Well, Tim's from Pittsburgh.
Speaker 3 (12:15):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (12:16):
Twenty six eighteen, the final there and the Miami Heat
this past weekend unveiled the Dwayne Wade statue. Outside the
arena of the statue looks nothing like Dwayne Wade. Even
he can't believe it.
Speaker 3 (12:32):
I look at this.
Speaker 10 (12:33):
Y'all got videos photos like that's crazy.
Speaker 3 (12:37):
I can't believe that.
Speaker 2 (12:37):
Who's that guy?
Speaker 3 (12:40):
He looks nothing like him.
Speaker 5 (12:42):
You're saying Laurence Fishburn a little bit. I don't know,
like it's him yelling after a play. I'm assuming I don't.
His mouth is wide open, you can't really see what
his eyes are doing.
Speaker 4 (12:54):
It doesn't really on his podcast yesterday, so it looks
like someone was in a fire. But then so.
Speaker 2 (13:02):
Absolutely no resemblance to d Wade. I'm just saying, of course,
the big buzz story this morning, Giselle Bunching is pregnant.
Maybe five months pregnant, right, Yeah.
Speaker 6 (13:14):
They're saying five or six so beginning of twenty twenty five, and.
Speaker 2 (13:18):
We all thought the jiu jitsu guy was like a joke,
a casual thing, but apparently he's the real thing.
Speaker 6 (13:25):
Well, I mean, you know, there's always been speculation that
there was some overlap, Yeah, you know, so that.
Speaker 2 (13:31):
She could have been Ron. Definitely Brady had a weird
post yesterday featuring a Dixie Chicks cover of Fleetwood Mac Guy.
What child? So what is that all about?
Speaker 6 (13:56):
Well, this is a big change. I mean, you know
this is this is a big deal when your partner
that you're no longer with moves on quicker than you do.
Speaker 2 (14:06):
But does this post suggest Brady is angry or disappointed?
Speaker 5 (14:10):
I don't know, maybe just I mean, I think it's
I think it's who she had a child is having
a child with. It was someone that was a part
of their marriage and a sense of their breakup. Their
breakup because they had hired I'm Tom with paying this
guy to train his children and his wife and jiu jitsu.
Speaker 2 (14:26):
And then he stole his wife basically, And there's a
story that she told Tom a while back. What do
you what do you mean? Yeah?
Speaker 1 (14:38):
What do you mean by a while? Like a couple
of weeks.
Speaker 4 (14:45):
Here's the thing too, you know this kid's involved, right,
they have kids together, so they have to explain it
to the kids. So there's that factor. Now they have
another child in their family, you know what I mean?
And yeah, the rare naked choke.
Speaker 3 (14:58):
There we go. What are you gonna do?
Speaker 2 (15:00):
I mean, you really can't resist it when when it arrives. Yeah,
the rear a naked choke.
Speaker 4 (15:05):
What can be easy too. He was married to her
for so long, he was in love with her, it's naturally.
Speaker 6 (15:09):
Then they broke up and it seemed like he didn't
want to break up, and she did, and she walked
away and had this other man.
Speaker 2 (15:16):
Yeah, well, it's kind.
Speaker 5 (15:17):
Of resemblance of when Tom broke up with Bridget Morninghand
when she was pregnant, and then before the baby even
came Jack, who was now seventeen or six, right, he
was with Giselle.
Speaker 2 (15:26):
He married Gizelle, like not long after Jack.
Speaker 1 (15:30):
Was born, right, so this kind of mirror.
Speaker 5 (15:32):
Yeaherence not saying he cheated on Bridget, but I mean
it was kind of quick that he moved on.
Speaker 2 (15:37):
Now, as jiu jitsu people, do you think they may
have agreed on a certain hold or moved right to
conceive the child with like said, hey, why don't we
get into this hole?
Speaker 4 (15:50):
And this brought the jiu jitsu in the Yes, I
mean why wouldn't you? They definitely fell in love while
doing jiu jitsu they did.
Speaker 11 (15:58):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (15:59):
Yeah, it's a very very it's a contact sport for sure.
Speaker 2 (16:02):
Yeah, but they probably had a favorite hold or a
favorite move and decided this is the one we should
really go with.
Speaker 3 (16:09):
All right, well, there you go.
Speaker 12 (16:10):
I have to say I was more shocked of how
hideous the jiu jitsu.
Speaker 9 (16:17):
Guy is over even her being pregnant.
Speaker 13 (16:20):
He is, he is, no Tom Brady, let me say that.
Speaker 4 (16:24):
All right, Bill, Ready, here we go jiu jitsu moves.
We have the rare naked choke.
Speaker 2 (16:28):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (16:28):
Yeah, we have the ombar. We have the leg lock.
Speaker 4 (16:32):
Oh, we have the guillotine, and we have the triangle choke.
Speaker 2 (16:37):
Oh. I'm thinking I would have gone with the leg lock.
Speaker 1 (16:40):
Yeah, you know, it's pretty safe.
Speaker 2 (16:43):
Yeah, I get her done.
Speaker 1 (16:45):
Okay, anyway, you know what.
Speaker 3 (16:47):
Congratulations absolutely, Actually wait, I'm gonna go with the triangle
choke because the triangle choke involves using one's legs to
form a triangular grip.
Speaker 2 (16:58):
Ah it is. Yeah, now you're long very useful. You're
locked in. Okay, I think we should probably move on.
Speaker 1 (17:06):
We should I think so too. Again. Congratulations, Yeah, happy
news this morning.
Speaker 2 (17:11):
A boy band documentary coming to Paramount Plus Larger than Life.
We're talking everybody from Men's Sync, the ninety eight Degrees
Backstreet Boys, New Kids, Hansen, new addition, all the way
back to the Osmonds. We have a trailer.
Speaker 3 (17:26):
We walked out and they saw us.
Speaker 2 (17:27):
All of a sudden, the mouths of that audience just drop.
I have never heard screams so piercely.
Speaker 3 (17:35):
I think somebody's hurt. And then I realized they're screaming
for us. I wanted to have them pull me in
the audience and just rip me apart.
Speaker 2 (17:42):
Yeah, the rest is history.
Speaker 3 (17:52):
I'm so excited.
Speaker 2 (17:53):
Oh yeah, it comes to Paramount plus November or twelve.
Shawn Mendes last night during a show in Colorado, finally
addressing his sexuality.
Speaker 3 (18:01):
Real truth about my life and my sexuality is that, man,
I'm just I'm just figuring it out.
Speaker 12 (18:07):
Like everyone and I don't really.
Speaker 6 (18:10):
Know sometimes and I know other times.
Speaker 14 (18:17):
And he was really scary because.
Speaker 12 (18:22):
Of the society that has a lot.
Speaker 14 (18:23):
To say about that.
Speaker 3 (18:25):
And I'm trying to be really brave and just allow
myself to be a human in feel things.
Speaker 1 (18:31):
And yeah, I just.
Speaker 14 (18:38):
That's all I really want to say about that.
Speaker 1 (18:40):
I adore him, Yeah, so very confused. Absolutely adore him.
Speaker 2 (18:44):
I don't think he's confused.
Speaker 5 (18:45):
I think he's just trying to let everyone know that
he's going through his process.
Speaker 6 (18:49):
He said that he has been famous since he was
like fifteen years old, and he never really got to
experience all the things that normal teenagers got to.
Speaker 4 (18:58):
Experiences, confused and sexuality. I don't think he really knows
is one way or the other or bolt right.
Speaker 1 (19:05):
But this is the first time, honestly, he's ever said anything.
Speaker 5 (19:08):
It's okay for him to be whatever he wants to
be or not label anything. I don't think he has
to put a label on whatever he's doing.
Speaker 2 (19:14):
He doesn't even have to talk about it. He just
wanted to. He did so the Menendez brothers could be
getting out of prison early. The DA is proposing it,
he'll present it to a judge. It'll also go to
the parole board. Turns out, while in prison they got
very close to rapper X Rated, who was doing time
for murder.
Speaker 14 (19:34):
My first impression of Lyle specifically was that he was
just a starting person. I respected his intellect. He was
one of the first ones to teach me to utilize
my influence in a way that would allow me to
have positive outcome.
Speaker 2 (19:48):
Yeah, he says they actually wound up helping each other I.
Speaker 14 (19:52):
Always look at it like I was more of the
person that was concerned with my psychology, my business, understanding,
my conduct, things like that. But Eric was more the
person that was working on my spiritual development. He was
He taught me the meditation, got me reading beyond meditation,
things like that, and attending self help groups, narcotics anonymous,
(20:17):
all those different things that I ended up doing. A
lot of those aspects came from Eric, and so kind
of between the two of them, I almost had. I
had two big brothers.
Speaker 2 (20:28):
There you go, so they could be up by Thanksgiving,
probably by the end of the year, definitely.
Speaker 4 (20:32):
Well, x Raty did twenty six years and got out
for murder. He says he didn't commit it, and part
of him getting released was a letter, yeah, than his
brothers wrote for him.
Speaker 2 (20:42):
So, hey, we're brought to about the ninety nine restaurant.
Don't forget kids. He'd free at the ninety nine restaurants
on Halloween, that's Thursday. Visit the ninety nine for lunch
or for dinner, and kids get a free meal from
the kids menu. With every adult andrey purchase. You get
to love the nines and there you go.
Speaker 1 (20:56):
You have seven rings.
Speaker 2 (20:57):
Well, eight now that Giselle gave hers back. But from the.
Speaker 6 (21:02):
Planet Fitness Kiss One Away Studios, we're back with the
Billy and Lisa in the morning.
Speaker 2 (21:09):
Hey guys, so welcome back and a happy Tuesday to you.
What's the weather going to be today, Liz?
Speaker 6 (21:14):
Windy, very windy actually, so it's not good for those
wildfires because it's still really dry. But yeah, only temps
in the fifties, so still pretty chilly.
Speaker 4 (21:22):
Yeah, the wildfires, that's a big story locally. It affects
so many.
Speaker 2 (21:25):
Towns, more than fifty fires. Yeah, and they're still breaking
out and.
Speaker 3 (21:30):
They haven't reached any homes, but I mean they could
come close.
Speaker 2 (21:33):
Yeah, well they're coming close I think to a neighborhood
in Middleton and that's the one that's still burning and
they're still trying to get under control. But yeah, what
a crazy situation. You know, we talk about wildfires all
the time, but they're always out in California. Yeah, well
now we've gone them. It's so damn dry out there.
Speaker 3 (21:50):
I mean, it's nice not to have rain, but you know,
we need rain.
Speaker 2 (21:53):
Yeah, if you've got wildfire stories, so if they're affecting you,
feel free to give us a call this morning. But
in the meantime, I do have a pair of tickets
for the sold out jingle Ball Caller twenty five h
You'll need a keyword and you don't what the keyword
fire Fire caller twenty five six one one one eight.
(22:13):
You'll get the tickets. But yeah, you qualified for the
jackpot and you want to get some talkbacks in there,
justin sure.
Speaker 3 (22:19):
I mean, we just did entertainment and you know, one
of the big stories Shawn Mendez at Red Rocks in
Colorado last night. I kind of addressed his sexuality. A
lot of people want to talk about that.
Speaker 1 (22:28):
Oh I just listened to you about Sean Mendes.
Speaker 3 (22:30):
This is the mayor.
Speaker 8 (22:31):
Okay, I'd like to dedicate a ta A song to Sean.
Speaker 10 (22:35):
Could you please.
Speaker 5 (22:36):
Play I'm Coming Out by Miss Diana Way.
Speaker 1 (22:41):
He's the best, say.
Speaker 2 (22:43):
Like he's on top of it.
Speaker 4 (22:45):
Well, the mayor of the celt that has a thing
with Sewn Mendez always brings up like even with jingle
Ball this year, he's like, I hope Sean Mendes, all.
Speaker 1 (22:52):
Right, you know Sean did do one of our jingle balls.
Speaker 4 (22:55):
He did well, he did, and he that's when he
connected with Camilicabeo our jingle ball. There's a shot of
her him doing her hair in the dressing room with
the TV garden. Really yeah, I got picked up nationally.
Speaker 2 (23:10):
Okay, so all right, you're gonna play the request for
the mayor.
Speaker 3 (23:14):
I don't know, can I play a quick clip? All right? Yeah?
I mean whatever Seawn Mendez sexuality he wants to be,
is fine with anything again.
Speaker 1 (23:28):
I just endure is what it is.
Speaker 3 (23:31):
Is what it is twenty twenty four. Man, anything goes,
you know what I mean, And you know, something takes
hold of you.
Speaker 2 (23:36):
The bottom line is we're around each other, and this
thing grabs hold of us again in the wrong place,
in the wrong time.
Speaker 3 (23:50):
We're dead.
Speaker 2 (23:52):
Well, I don't think to go that far.
Speaker 1 (23:57):
That movie was set a long time ago.
Speaker 2 (23:59):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (24:00):
Yeah, now you're able to do what you please.
Speaker 2 (24:03):
Yeah, so it's a decision time for Sean.
Speaker 4 (24:08):
You know, and I think you know, probably the media
everybody talking about it is he isn't he?
Speaker 2 (24:13):
You know? What was his biggest song? Mercy?
Speaker 3 (24:19):
Mercy was a big one.
Speaker 2 (24:20):
Yeah, he had some good songs.
Speaker 4 (24:23):
That's amazing voice. I remember when he first came out,
he kind of no one really knew who he was
and he opened our jingle ball that's right, and he
was sick, he had the flu and he and he
I believe he still came. And I remember hearing his
name Sewn Mendes, and I was like, who's that? And
then shortly after he blew up.
Speaker 2 (24:39):
Oh man, did he ever?
Speaker 3 (24:41):
Yeah, Billy loved his performance.
Speaker 2 (24:43):
I thought Shawn Mendes and Commit were outstanding. Okay, there's
an honest review right there. And then they ended up
together for a while. They lived together during the pandemic,
right they did.
Speaker 3 (24:55):
Yeah, you know, Sean's a big fan of Kiss went away,
good friend. Okay, thanks.
Speaker 2 (25:03):
I don't know why I asked. Let's just go to
Colleen calling twenty five. Good morning, Colleen. Where are you
calling from?
Speaker 15 (25:10):
I'll call them loll oh.
Speaker 2 (25:12):
Lowell, Massachusetts. What a beautiful town. Uh? What do you
do when Lowell? Calleen like, what do you do for work?
Speaker 3 (25:18):
And I work for Pacific Packaging?
Speaker 9 (25:22):
Shout out to them in Wilmington.
Speaker 2 (25:23):
Pacific Packaging.
Speaker 3 (25:25):
So it doesn't work in Lowell. She works in Wilmington.
Speaker 2 (25:27):
Yeah. So the packages come down the belt and you
have to tape them up. How does it work?
Speaker 6 (25:32):
Oh?
Speaker 9 (25:32):
No, we sell boxes tape, stretch wrap, foam, bubble wrap, oh,
bubble wrap your packaging needs.
Speaker 2 (25:39):
Oh you guys must be busy coming up for the holidays.
Speaker 15 (25:41):
Yeah, we are very, very busy.
Speaker 2 (25:44):
That's crunch time for you. Hey, do you have a keyword?
Speaker 9 (25:48):
Fire?
Speaker 3 (25:49):
Fire?
Speaker 2 (25:49):
Have you smelled any of the wildfires at all?
Speaker 15 (25:53):
Not at a home. I have smelled them in Wilmington Networks.
Speaker 3 (25:56):
Oh yeah, I smelled them on ninety three, right around
Wilmington too.
Speaker 2 (25:59):
Come here you go, come in your way, baby. Hold on,
because you've got the tickets for jingle Ball, but you
qualify for the jackpot, so that's front row right.
Speaker 1 (26:07):
The four front row tickets.
Speaker 2 (26:09):
Yeah, and a shot at one hundred eight thousand dollars.
So don't hang up. You'd be crazy too. Hold on,
Riley will talk to you, give you all the details
as she goes.
Speaker 3 (26:17):
Loll in the bill, loll definitely in the building. We'll
do the jingle Ball jackpot again this morning at eight ten.
Make sure you're here, make sure you know the keyword.
You get your.
Speaker 4 (26:29):
Share of one hundred and eight thousand dollars in up
front row jingle Ball tickets. But coming up next, big
story in the entertainment world, Just l bunch and pregnant.
Speaker 3 (26:37):
We'll talk about it next Billy and Lisa.
Speaker 2 (26:41):
Hey, guys, that welcome back big buzz story. If you're
just waking up this morning, a lot of you may
have seen or heard about it. Didn't you post something yet?
Take you on theesel Bunching is pregnant. This kind of
kind of came out of left field for me. I
don't know about most of you.
Speaker 1 (26:53):
Yeah, well I don't know.
Speaker 2 (26:54):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (26:55):
I mean for me, it was like, wow, okay, yeah,
good for her. But yeah, but I feel like we're
just watching this like the public breakup of these two people.
And then she ends up moving on in a big
way and now in an even bigger way. Right, and
then Tom posts this cryptic thing on his Instagram story,
you know, the landfall cover from the Dixie Check.
Speaker 4 (27:17):
Yeah, that was a weird one with the picture of
the sunset. You know, Tom's just in his fields.
Speaker 1 (27:27):
Yeah, totally.
Speaker 2 (27:28):
What do you think his message was with that?
Speaker 4 (27:30):
I think he wanted us to know he's not happy, honestly,
and it's definitely in some kind of failing, some type
of way.
Speaker 5 (27:37):
Well, I feel like this guy, like her new boyfriend,
was hired by him, originally to be the jiu jitsu
instructor for their kids.
Speaker 3 (27:45):
And for her.
Speaker 5 (27:46):
And that was when he was still playing football, and
she had spoken out publicly for years that she was
over him playing football and dedicating nine months of the
year to being you know, footba already. So I feel
like it kind of like he kind of slid in
the right time. Giselle was emotionally like coming away from
Tom and then she became emotionally available for this guy,
(28:07):
and then physically and then they've divorced and now she's
having his baby.
Speaker 3 (28:11):
She was checked out for sure.
Speaker 1 (28:12):
Yes, oh, checked out definitely.
Speaker 4 (28:15):
Especially when he unretired. That was a big one. He
finally retired and then he unretired a month later, remember that. Yeah,
that was That was a big deal, I think.
Speaker 2 (28:23):
And there's been a lot of talk that there was
an overlap. Like I mean, keep in mind, this guy
basically lived around the house. He was training the kids,
he was training Gizelle, probably hanging out in the kitchen
making jiu jitsu meals.
Speaker 1 (28:35):
There was a definite emotional attachment.
Speaker 6 (28:37):
Whether there was a physical thing going on, you know,
during the time that they were breaking up.
Speaker 1 (28:42):
Who will you know, who knows well.
Speaker 5 (28:43):
Women leave emotionally before they leave physically, emerging a lot,
and men are normally not really emotionally available enough to
understand their wife is leaving them emotionally, so then they're
shocked when they're like, I'm done.
Speaker 6 (28:56):
Tom just seems like a wounded bird, especially with this
post yesterday, like he's still really feeling.
Speaker 2 (29:03):
But I mean Tom hasn't been totally alone. I mean
he's you know, he's different women.
Speaker 6 (29:10):
It's not really unless Irena Shaik was the only public
person he was dating.
Speaker 2 (29:15):
Should come knock the door in Miami.
Speaker 5 (29:17):
You can hook up whoever you want, But emotionally, I
don't think anyone's taking.
Speaker 1 (29:20):
That spot, and it doesn't seem like it, you know.
Speaker 3 (29:23):
Well.
Speaker 2 (29:23):
The other weird thing to me is that you can
remember when Giselle and the jiu Jitsu by what's his name,
Joaquin Joaqum. When Giselle and Joaquin first kind of came
out publicly, they were very reluctant at first, and they
were acting like it was no big deal and they
were just friends, and the relationship to me never seemed
(29:45):
as serious as someone who's gonna have a baby.
Speaker 4 (29:48):
Well obviously developed into that it was definitely developed into that.
Speaker 5 (29:53):
Again, that's Giselle is very like emotional, like she always
you know, every looked at her post on Instagram. Everything
is so about like the world in the universe and
how everything's connected.
Speaker 2 (30:03):
And she's just very spiritual.
Speaker 5 (30:06):
And I feel like if she's gonna be with anybody
in I capacity, that she is all encompassing, like spiritually
she's with them, and that's how you.
Speaker 4 (30:14):
Yeah, the other part of it is obviously this kid's involved.
You know, they have children, have to explain to the kids.
You know, there's gonna be a new kid. So I'm
sure Tom's not happy about that.
Speaker 2 (30:21):
I picture them spending a lot of time sitting on
a mat with their legs and arms folded. Well, that's
what jiu jitsu is, yeah, and just literaryually connecting, and
that just grew and grew, and then you got the
armbars and the triangle lock.
Speaker 6 (30:37):
But but if you really look at like the whole
dynamic of this and what's happening, I bet there are
a lot of people out there that can relate when
you when you break up with someone, someone eventually is
gonna move on before you.
Speaker 4 (30:49):
Usually if you're the other person, it's it's not a
good feeling. It's not you know, you're in love with somebody,
you have family and children, and then you break up
and that person finds someone else before you.
Speaker 6 (30:59):
You're feeling like Brady like with the Landfall post.
Speaker 2 (31:02):
Yeah, when they have a child and now you've got
an extended family.
Speaker 1 (31:06):
That you're really wounded.
Speaker 3 (31:07):
Yeah, this is definitely the big entertainment story of the day.
Speaker 2 (31:10):
Good boy, it's the Mayor the South.
Speaker 5 (31:12):
And I know you think Josell is the big story today,
but I have to say the big story is Sean mend.
Speaker 1 (31:20):
Okay man, we know the exactly.
Speaker 2 (31:24):
Yeah, that's that's a story and we'll talk more about that,
ye Sewn Mends. But in the meantime, Yeah, this, I'm
guessing a lot of people have been through this. You know,
you break up as a couple, you've got a family together,
and then when you break up, one of you ends
up in another family real fast, and now it's just
(31:46):
you and then the other person in the relationship is
starting a new family. It's gotta be weird. It happens
to a lot of people.
Speaker 3 (31:53):
It's a good topic, but a tough topic.
Speaker 2 (31:55):
Yeah, so let's deal with it. What better place than
the billion some morning show. Just a group of very
sensible and understanding people. Give us a call six one
seven nine one oh eight.
Speaker 3 (32:08):
How do they get to that? Talk back Mike justin. Yeah,
you can do that on the iHeartRadio app. Free to download,
search kiss one on wait listen to us live. We
appreciate it. Tap the red microphone and get your voice
heard on the radio.
Speaker 2 (32:19):
Or you can just give us your thoughts on Gizelle
being pregnant six one seven nine three one one eight.
Give us a buzz. What is the topic today? We're
going to be talking about.
Speaker 1 (32:31):
Billy and Lisa present.
Speaker 2 (32:32):
Topic time, talk amongst yourself, topic time. Okay, So big
bus story popped yesterday Zelle bunch in announcing that, well,
she's pregnant, and I guess has been pregnant for a
while with the uh Joachim who was the jiu jitsu
instructor around the house. I guess work with the kids,
also worked with Gizell. Uh So, Gizell is having a
(32:55):
baby and Brady had kind of a weird reaction on
social yesterday and we got to talking, right, Lisa, I
mean we did. This happens to a lot of people,
a couple breaks up, one of them moves on and
kind of jumps right into a new.
Speaker 1 (33:08):
Family exactly, and then they take to social media, so.
Speaker 2 (33:11):
Of course they do. So let's go to the phone
this topic time. We's start with Robin, who's calling in
from Marshfield. So good morning, Robin, Good morning. What do
you think? What's your story? Robin?
Speaker 9 (33:25):
Okay, I'm gonna start by saying I'm always gonna be
one of Brady's ladies. I'm not going to talk any trash. However,
I think people need to remember history. Before Tom got
together with Gizelle, he was with Bridget moynihan and immediately
after they broke up found out she was pregnant. Yep,
she had to watch Tom move on with Gizelle and
(33:48):
create this beautiful life, beautiful family. And you know her
and her son were a little bit separate for a while.
Speaker 2 (33:55):
Yeah, oh.
Speaker 1 (33:58):
So true.
Speaker 2 (34:00):
Got about that.
Speaker 1 (34:01):
Such a scandal.
Speaker 9 (34:03):
But I also want to say, I don't think it's
weird that he posted something emotional on social media. We
and New England are so used to him being in
business mode and just getting it done, and the only
emotion we see from him is on the field. So
I think maybe it seems weird that that he's emotional
about this, but you know, it's very hard when you
(34:25):
realize a chapter of your life is closing, and he's
had a lot of that in these last couple of years.
Speaker 2 (34:30):
So very true, Very true, boy, Robin, you're reminding us
of that story. I totally forgot. Yeah, when Bridget got pregnant,
he moved on and then she and then moved on
to Giselle and built a family.
Speaker 4 (34:43):
And now he's all in the fields, through the clouds
and through the sun and through the rain and through
the beautiful days.
Speaker 2 (34:50):
Yeah. Well, Tom's always been a little all right.
Speaker 3 (34:54):
You know, how about we hear from a jiu jitsu instructor.
Speaker 16 (34:57):
Here we go, good morning guys.
Speaker 2 (35:00):
Here.
Speaker 16 (35:00):
I totally agree with that, lady. He is no Tom
Brady by far. You know, we jiujits so people who
we got some heavy hips and you know, Billy, if
you want to look up some positions that they probably used,
I would go with the double under position and.
Speaker 9 (35:16):
The leg drag position.
Speaker 16 (35:18):
And to add a little spice, you probably tied it.
Speaker 2 (35:20):
With the belt double under and then the leg drag.
Speaker 3 (35:23):
The leg drag, and then you add the belt at
the end. Yeah, something else.
Speaker 2 (35:30):
It's a little physical in that jiujitsal world.
Speaker 3 (35:32):
Don't forget the jokes, the choke so.
Speaker 5 (35:37):
As I think.
Speaker 3 (35:42):
To say today with yea BJJ today Brazilian jiu jitsu.
Speaker 2 (35:47):
Yeah you got to grapple.
Speaker 3 (35:49):
Yeah. The other part of the story too, that we
did not mention is her age.
Speaker 13 (35:54):
Want to talk about Giselle in the relationship? Are we
not going to talk about the fact that she's forty
four and she got pregnant.
Speaker 12 (36:01):
That to me is like.
Speaker 8 (36:04):
The highlight of the story.
Speaker 12 (36:05):
How I don't know, forty four?
Speaker 6 (36:08):
Yeah, she's right, I mean it definitely. I had Riley
when I was forty one, so it was in my forties.
And it's right, it's it's you know, it's.
Speaker 2 (36:15):
Well, it's her decision and exactly gave it a lot
of thought.
Speaker 1 (36:18):
Absolutely, but it's also great that she did that.
Speaker 3 (36:21):
They are like, yeah, great, she's a great physical she
taking care of herself. Yeah, it's right, but.
Speaker 1 (36:27):
You're right, it's it's it's like, wow, okay.
Speaker 5 (36:29):
Yeah, no, good for her that you know she conceived naturally,
which it seems like she did, Like it can be
you know, hard after thirty thirty five.
Speaker 1 (36:37):
Really, Yeah, well it's considered high risk thirty five and over.
Speaker 2 (36:41):
So didn't you tell me at least she's going to
do the bathtube again.
Speaker 1 (36:44):
I read that somewhere that she wanted to the home
brought again.
Speaker 4 (36:47):
Yeah, before my wife got pregnant, she was our age,
but you know, late late thirties and that they do.
They considered her geriatric. Oh they used that term.
Speaker 2 (36:57):
At forty eight.
Speaker 3 (36:58):
Yeah, she was.
Speaker 1 (37:00):
She was like stuff.
Speaker 3 (37:02):
Yeah, like, well you're you're Jerry. She looked at me like,
would you say crazy morning guys.
Speaker 13 (37:08):
So in my life story, I am the tom Brady.
So I get it. After almost a seven year relationship,
three years after the breakup, I haven't moved on. I
didn't think he would, but he did, and it was
with someone that we knew.
Speaker 6 (37:24):
We know.
Speaker 13 (37:25):
Yeah, I literally pointed her in the direction of him
of saying what a great guy he is, and yeah,
so that happened.
Speaker 2 (37:33):
Okay, who are we talking about now?
Speaker 5 (37:36):
Well, I mean it's similar to heard the tom Brathing
and someone they knew and somebody that was in their relationship.
Speaker 3 (37:42):
So that makes it even worse that you kind of
I mean, he set her up with this guy to
train with r Wow.
Speaker 5 (37:49):
He probably was like, Babe, I found this great ju jitsu.
Speaker 2 (37:52):
Instructor for you and the kids.
Speaker 3 (37:54):
No, he encouraged her. That was the story. You need
to find something, do something.
Speaker 2 (37:58):
I've got my football. Yeah, you need something, yep, jiu jitsu.
Speaker 13 (38:02):
Good morning, Lucy.
Speaker 12 (38:03):
Here there was a comment made that breaking up being
divorced really quick and then getting into a new relationship
very quickly. I feel like Tom Brady broke up with
football for like a week and then unbroke up, and
now he's broken.
Speaker 13 (38:20):
Up for real.
Speaker 12 (38:21):
So in tom Brady terms, they're divorced. They've been divorced
like for twenty years.
Speaker 1 (38:26):
I feel like he was definitely married to football. Yeah, yeah, definitely,
and she.
Speaker 2 (38:32):
Wasn't crazy about it. She was never crazy about it.
And you know, and then when he announced his retirement
and then unretired, I think that was the final straw.
Speaker 1 (38:40):
Yeah he chose football over Yeah.
Speaker 4 (38:42):
Well, because I mean, we don't know what he said
to her, but what I took from it was that
he promised, yeah, I'm retiring, this is it.
Speaker 3 (38:50):
And then he unretired.
Speaker 2 (38:51):
And then you got a jiu jitsu guy hanging around
the house.
Speaker 3 (38:54):
Yeah, the jiu jitsu pot is the craziest part.
Speaker 1 (38:58):
That's very hands It's it's like the entanglements.
Speaker 2 (39:04):
Right. We talked about that early on in their relationship.
Remember when he said, yes, oh god, well you know
they say they're just friends, but they're rolling around and
they're grappling and leg.
Speaker 1 (39:13):
Dragon and as close as you can get.
Speaker 2 (39:16):
Oh yeah, suddenly I to hit you. You know, you
can't control it of a leg lock. Let's go to Cindy,
who's calling from Winthrop. Good morning, Cindy, how are you?
What's your story?
Speaker 15 (39:29):
Good morning? I just want to say, personally speaking that
he's acting like maybe a victim or something, because there
we had to be many, many, many conversations before they
broke up about you know, her feelings and trying to
get express what you know, what was going on and
(39:50):
so forth. So when you're ignored, yeah, so many times,
and you try to speak and tell your feelings and
you're ignored and you're not taking seriously whatever the case
may be, then you do start to separate.
Speaker 13 (40:04):
Yeah.
Speaker 15 (40:04):
I call it like the wall. You start building the wall,
and if nobody's there to take down some of those
little bricks, the wall keeps going up. And once that
wall is up to get it. That's the end for me.
Speaker 8 (40:16):
Yea.
Speaker 15 (40:18):
So it's not a surprise. And it's been actually years,
so it's not like she's just you know, just moving
on all of a sudden. It's been a while, and
you know, I mean, I love Tom Brady like everybody else,
but I think that it was all about him, yeah,
and not really about the family, and he just kind
of took them for granted, you know, oh, they'll be there.
Speaker 2 (40:43):
I think one day she was there, but she was
just in another room with the padded floor.
Speaker 5 (40:48):
Well, I think to Sydney's point, like when you're asking
your partner for something over and over because she asked
about the I mean they documented it on like their documentary,
Like she talks about and asked about it over and
over again about football being in the past and that,
and that's a bigger thing. Like it just represents how
he wasn't prioritizing what she was telling him.
Speaker 1 (41:07):
He wasn't present in their relationship, right, So to.
Speaker 5 (41:11):
Ask somebody for something over and over it and not
get it. And I'm just like, yeah, I'm gonna do it. Yeah,
I got you, like I love you, like I'm gonna whatever,
I'm gonna do it, and they don't do it, it's like,
all right, well then forget it.
Speaker 3 (41:21):
Well think about it too, you know.
Speaker 4 (41:22):
I mean they they were in the playoffs, you know,
every season which went through Super Bowls right till January, right,
so the only time they really had was in Costa
Rica in between that, you know, a few months, and
that's full on football season, which is he's probably you know,
not present, no, not at all.
