And of course, the election was yesterday and it went
well into the night last night. And oh, by the way,
we have a new president, got a new funky president. Baby.

Yeah. I woke up at two am and check my
phone and that's when they kind of first announced it. Yeah,
I think it was a Fox.

News former President Trump is president again. Well he's president elect.

Yeah, Ap called it when we were all here this
morning preparing for the show.

Yeah, I mean, he declared victory at two o'clock this
morning in Florida to a packed house. He was two
maybe three delegates shy and they came in this morning
about an hour ago. Wisconsin came in he grabbed a
lot of swing states and I don't think a lot
of people saw that coming Pennsylvania.

Speaker 3 (02:27):
That was that was huge. Pennsylvania would win. So yeah,
two o'clock.

He must have had one hundred people on stage with
him last night at the victory speech.

Speaker 3 (02:37):
Oh yeah, I saw Ivanka was there.

Yeah, and we haven't seen or heard from her in
a long time.

And Baron, who's about selling year.

He really is tall giants. And Dana White was there.

White? Yeah, of course, Well, Dana White, they have a
close friendship because Trump, he talked about this. He was
the first person to give him a shot with the
UFC a place to have the fight venues.

Yeah, nobody would take them. It's a pretty crazy sport.
When it first came out, it was like outrageous to
a lot of people. But yeah, former President Trump opened
the door to the UFC and Jana White, so he's
very thankful. Yeah, it was a crazy night.

Vice President Harris will speak today, correct at Howard University.

They're saying at some point today Howard University was her headquarter.

There were thousands and thousands of people there. I think
most of them expecting victory. And then when victory was
not on the horizon. The whole mood of the place changed,
and then Kamala Harris never came out.

I felt bad, I to. You know, It's like that
for both sides, right, they're all there, they're expecting a victory,
and then when it doesn't happen. But she didn't come out,
and I think they were expecting her to come out.
She had one of her people come out and kind
of make an announcement. We still have votes to count.

So you won't hear from the Vice president tonight, but
you will hear from her tomorrow. She will be back
to address out only the hu family, not only to
address her supporters, but to address the nation.

Speaker 3 (04:05):
Yeah, and everyone kind of walked out.

Speaker 1 (04:07):
Yeah, and I don't think it's going to be as
much a concession speech as it will be a thank
you to her supporters and to thank you to America.
But let's face it, this has been a crazy election.
I mean, Kamala Harris until what two months ago, maybe
a little more than two months ago, wasn't even a
candidate for president, right, She wasn't running. Joe Biden stepped back,

so they say, and there was no Democratic primary, and
Kamala Harris became the candidate, and I got to tell
you it was a crazy election.

Speaker 3 (04:36):
I thought it could have went either way. I know,
I thought definitely.

Speaker 7 (04:40):
I thought so too, justin very surprised, Yes, very surprised.

Speaker 1 (04:44):
When all is said and done, I think Trump will
be over the three hundred mark. I think it takes
two seventy one to clinch.

Yeah, that's surprising.

He's already at like two seventy nine or two eighty,
so well over what he needed.

But can I Donald Trump mentioned the newspeople like David Muir,
Oh yeah, they're up all night. Yeah, this is their
super Bowl definitely. And then Bill Lisa, we're watching it,
and Billy's like, it's going on with David's hair. I go, Billy,
He's been up for eighteen hours walking, he's still longer.

He's got a good head of hair.

He's got a beautiful head of hair. That's why it
struck me that it was all matted down to his head.
But yeah, I mean keep in mind, they worked all
day yesterday, and they worked days leading up to me yesterday,
and then all night last night. And that's hard work.
Oh yeah, working the anchor desk for an election on
a major network.

But yeah, all of the network, same thing.

They were all up all day, all day long, all night,
and this one went late and it's still going on.
I mean, they're still votes to count, but I guess
it's over and.

Then and then even on either side, right, whether you
like one or the other. And you're a news person, yeah,
the candidate that you want to win doesn't win hard.
You still have to kind of you're professional. That must
be awkward, dad, And it's funny.

I'm playing a little game in my head watching even
some of the local stations trying to guess. Oh, I
wonder who they were supporting, you know, because now they're
on the anchor desk and they they have to.

They can't really express their disappointment if in the fact
they were rooting for Kamala Hart. It's a tough gig, Yeah,
a tough gig. But yeah, if you're just waking up,
Donald Trump has regained the White House?

this morning. Wisconsin went for Trump, and then they knew
it's all over. They had a pretty good reason to
believe it was over, because he delivered a victory speech
at two o'clock this morning in Florida.

Oh yeah, he's taking his victory lap.

I want to thank the American people for the extraordinary

she will speak from Howard University, her alma mater, at
some point later today.

I'm sure she'll speak soon. Right now that the you know,
the AP has declared it, right.

She should Yeah. Yeah, everybody's declared it and called it now,
so we need to recap the ballot questions here in Massachusetts.
Because we're not a political show. We don't do politics typically,
but the ballot questions were big and a lot of
people's lives here in Massachusetts, and we dealt with them
several times on the show, so we've got the results.

It was a resounding no on question five regarding the
minimum wage.

day Sunday pulling everything down. Okay, and not only that

we have a fake tree in the living room every year.

string lights that you put up outside, or do you

We try to and then if they sometimes they're broken,
then we'll buy new ones. Right, But what did Tim

And I always feel like they're going to short out
and then so I just want to get new ones

It was guys lights, the lights from the previous year.

an entire day to go through the string lights because
there's always one bull missing and then you just throw
it away.

It is actually a really good day to do it,
because it's so warm to do all the outside decorating.

And I gotta say I fought it when she said it,
but this whole week, every time I went home, I
was happy yes, you know, I see all the decorations,
the stockings are all laid out. I actually like it.

You know what my favorite part is, believe it or not,
the ornaments. Yeah, because every time you break out the ornaments, right,
you get a few new ornaments every year. But it's
like you're trying to find ornaments that tell a story,

Putting up the ornaments, Oh honey, remember this one this
we got this such a such a place and whatever.

That's another thing. My wife said, it's her favorite holiday.

lights outside down really the entire month of January. It's
so dark outside it's something nice to look at.

after that, I decorate most of it myself. But then
I have a little party for all the single people,
