Speaker 1 (00:00):
Now best morning show in Boston.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Billy and Lisa in the morning.

Speaker 1 (00:04):
It's just a great start to my day on Kiss Runaway.

Speaker 3 (00:09):
Pay Now, Good morning, Welcome into the Wednesday show, The
Billy and Lisa Morning Show. And I've got two words
to kick off this Wednesday show, and the two words
are cold. Huh ood boy, old boy, justin How cold
was it over the border up there in the mountains?

Speaker 4 (00:30):
You told me teens it was thirty degrees when I left,
which is cold, but I wore my really you know,
heavy can of the goose jacket and it was thirty
It wasn't too bad.

Speaker 3 (00:40):
I think I said it. The feels like, well, it
would be the teens.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
It's so windy out there, so it's like biting cold.

Speaker 4 (00:47):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (00:47):
Cold, huh oh, Yeah, it's cold, a little bit of
a cold snap. Yeah. I think it was thirty one
degrees when I got in my car this morning.

Speaker 1 (00:56):
Yeah, right now it's thirty two. That's cold.

Speaker 4 (01:00):
Sorry, but you know what, we all have lived here
for many, many years.

Speaker 2 (01:03):
Yeah, it's just been so warm.

Speaker 4 (01:05):
It's kind of a shock.

Speaker 3 (01:06):
Yeah. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:07):
Winter, winter's coming and there we're.

Speaker 3 (01:09):
Still got our eyes on those nasty brush fires out there.
The red flag alerts are up again today. The governor
was out visiting some of the sites yesterday. This is crazy.
She's telling people now to conserve water. Yeah, take a
short shower.

Speaker 4 (01:22):
I listened to your news report. You had, you know,
mar Haleley in there. So do you think people are
actually going to do that? No, you know, do less,
you know, loads of laundry, less use of the dishwash air.

Speaker 3 (01:32):
It would be nice in those towns that are experiencing
the brushfires because they're going to run out of water
to fight the fires. Yeah, but it doesn't.

Speaker 2 (01:40):
It doesn't look like it's going to rain for another week.

Speaker 4 (01:42):
Oh boy, no Friday.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
No, it looks like maybe next Thursday. Yeah, wow, next Thursday.

Speaker 4 (01:50):
Well, if you live in any of those towns, you
should listen. You should conserner, you really should. Because it
is National Kindness Day.

Speaker 5 (01:56):
Good morning, it's the Mayor of the South. Then today's
this very special day. Today is National Kindness Day. So
do something kind. Buy a coworker a cup of coffee,
take a homeless person out to lunch, say a kind
word to someone. This goes for you, Winniford, because when
you do something kind, the feedback you get back to

(02:18):
yourself is immeasurable. Have a great day everyone.

Speaker 3 (02:22):
You know what's funny that the mayor of the South
End just pointed out, Winnifred, she did something kind this morning, unannounced.
She brought me a cup of coffee.

Speaker 2 (02:31):
Same with me, same with me.

Speaker 4 (02:33):
Really, did you know it was National Kindness Day?

Speaker 6 (02:35):
No, I'm just a kind human. I just do kind
things all the time. It doesn't be a kind day.
I'm a good person.

Speaker 4 (02:40):
Well that was a kind thing to do, thank you.

Speaker 3 (02:42):
But until the mayor pointed it out, I planned on
starting this show with National Kindness Day and saying what
he wouldn't kill you?

Speaker 1 (02:50):
Yeah, well I started off to day Sean, I'm going
to go a whole.

Speaker 3 (02:52):
Day being kind, all right, And the teachers are still
striking three towns Beverly lost their marblehead, and I got
to thinking yesterday about our Turkey Toss. By the way,
you go to kiss unaway dot com if you want
to sign up, your team got to point out it
takes time. Okay, if you're interested in being in the
Turkey Toss, don't forget you've got to get form signed

(03:14):
by your school. So you got to get on this
because it's selling out fast and a lot of schools
are already in the process of getting the paperwork done.

Speaker 6 (03:22):
Yeah, and if you sign yourself up and then the
school takes forever to reply, we'll just go to the
next school.

Speaker 1 (03:28):
Like you got to get it and get it in,
like we're not gonna It.

Speaker 4 (03:30):
Happens every year. It fills up and then schools come
that you know, didn't do it in time, or they
were late, and they don't get in. So you got
to get in right now.

Speaker 3 (03:38):
And these three towns, at least two of the three
towns are not having activities after school that includes sports.
Imagine if this thing drags on and it affects their
Turkey Day games, our Turkey Toss could be their only action.

Speaker 1 (03:51):
Yeah, but who's at the school that can sign off
that they can come.

Speaker 3 (03:53):
That's another good point, right, it.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
Might be an SSHA.

Speaker 6 (03:56):
I don't think Gloucester or Beverly or who's the other one,
rock worn.

Speaker 3 (04:02):
Marblehead.

Speaker 1 (04:02):
I don't think they're going to be participating in this year.

Speaker 3 (04:04):
No, I think we make an exception. If those schools
are interested in being a Turkey toss, you know what
I mean, they can be our special guest in the
VIP section.

Speaker 4 (04:12):
Yeah, go sign up, see what you can do. Let
us know and we'll try to make it happen.

Speaker 3 (04:18):
So, Justin, I'm afraid I don't know if you heard
you did not get the Sexiest Man Alive this year.

Speaker 2 (04:23):
No, I did not, and neither did you.

Speaker 3 (04:26):
But no, well Justin was probably at least on the list.
I don't think I made the list. But it's a
local guy, John Present, I know you're right.

Speaker 1 (04:38):
We got our guys straight from the streets of Newton.

Speaker 4 (04:40):
Yeah, yeah, that's right.

Speaker 3 (04:41):
Everybody's like, where from Boston are you?

Speaker 1 (04:43):
And I'm like the streets.

Speaker 4 (04:46):
Now. I want to ask the two females on the show,
do you find John Krasinsky sexy?

Speaker 1 (04:53):
I wouldn't say that.

Speaker 2 (04:54):
The word I would use I think he's very sexy, Okay.
I think he's confident. I think he's got like great
wife and kids. He's so successful, he's funny. Yeah, I
think he's very sexy.

Speaker 1 (05:07):
I think he's appealing. Yeah, I just wouldn't be.

Speaker 3 (05:10):
Like, oh, he's so sexy. I think he's a beautiful man.

Speaker 2 (05:12):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (05:13):
And by the way, Thirteen Hours one of the greatest
movies ever made. I've seen it like five or six times.

Speaker 4 (05:18):
Quiet place.

Speaker 3 (05:20):
Yeah, he directs that to you know, quiet place in
the office, of course. But here's the thing about the
sexiest man thing that aggravates me. There were people trolling
on social media about the choice of the sexiest man alive.

Speaker 2 (05:35):
Well, Billy and I were talking about this this morning.
Ye who were those people that are angry?

Speaker 6 (05:39):
It's so subjective and honestly, sexy could be physical or
it could be like internal, like how you are as
a person, and just you tell people will just exude.

Speaker 1 (05:47):
Sexy in different ways, like Benny Blanco is in this.

Speaker 6 (05:51):
He's an honorable mention, right, and maybe like Justin is
so against his local Wise, I don't know why justinm
like offended by Benny Bloco's love, but that he's not
He's not attractive, well, he looks like a chipmunk. But
I think if you see his spirit and the way
he treats Selena Gomez and like the type of guy
he is, that's very appeal.

Speaker 2 (06:09):
And that's where a very People magazine has shifted gears
over the years to include that as part of like
the criteria.

Speaker 7 (06:17):
Every girl deserves a Benny Blanco, Yes, but to my
point about the super Karens that troll about the selection
of the Sexiest Man Alive.

Speaker 3 (06:27):
You get that. It's a joke.

Speaker 4 (06:29):
It's not me when I'm not writing social.

Speaker 1 (06:32):
Media, not cud ugly.

Speaker 3 (06:35):
Yeah, she's kind of right. You so mad about him?

Speaker 4 (06:39):
I wasn't mad. I think it's great he scored one
for the guy, but don't I'm not good looking.

Speaker 3 (06:44):
I totally agree with you, justin Yeah, Selena Gomez loves
the guy.

Speaker 2 (06:47):
Loves him.

Speaker 6 (06:48):
Oh he spoils I mean, but yeah, that guy, he's
a romantic.

Speaker 3 (06:53):
Uh so, yeah, we'll talk about the Sexiest Man Alive.
We're gonna hear from the Sexiest Man Alive coming up
in entertainment. And by the way, this this is huge.
You know that Zendaya movie with Robert Pattinson that's been
shooting all over Boston for months now. Well, they're casting
locals and we've got the casting director, Angela Perry on

(07:13):
the show right after nine this morning. Yeah, and she's
going to tell you how you can get in this
Zendia movie. Okay, We've got that more coming up in entertainment,
so stand by. That's next.

Speaker 2 (07:24):
From the Planet's Fitness Kiss one O eight Studios. We
we're back with a Villy and Lisa in the morning
on Kiss.

Speaker 3 (07:31):
Hey, guys, welcome back and happy Wednesday again. You want
to gear up for today if you're heading out. It's
gonna be a little cold out there this morning, colder
than you would expect for this time of year. I'm
just saying, hey, Justin, is it possible we can get
a couple of talkbacks right here?

Speaker 4 (07:46):
Yeah? Talkbacks are wide open. You can get them in
on the iHeart app little red microphone there. When you
tap it you can leave a message thirty seconds or
less to chime in on the show. And here we go.
It's six forty in the morning. I say one small
thing and they all start coming in.

Speaker 3 (08:02):
Good morning everyone, justin with a Canada Goose living large,
not like the old days of Malvin Great.

Speaker 8 (08:10):
Have a good day, guys.

Speaker 2 (08:11):
Wasn't that a gift from Billy and you?

Speaker 4 (08:14):
I was gonna say, yeah, I'm not like you know,
walking around with money bags. I always wanted the Canada Goose.
They're obviously very expensive, and Lisa and Billy last year
got me a very generous gift card to Concepts, and
I was able to get a Canada ghost.

Speaker 3 (08:30):
Hey, justin just quick question for you.

Speaker 9 (08:33):
We know that you've been trying to up the physical appearance,
and I'm proud of their brother, but have you gotten
so bougie that when you had mentioned your weekend up
north that you had to include that it was a
Canadian goose jacket.

Speaker 4 (08:50):
Love your brother, Okay, it's take it easy. Well, that's nothing, right,
My life is a movie. Yesterday I went to Nurse
Fiona shout out to Nurse Vie, and I was ready
for this lease. I don't think you are. I was
getting laser hair removal on my legs while at the
same time getting botox on my face.

Speaker 2 (09:11):
He was getting a little touch up yet this video too.

Speaker 4 (09:15):
I'll post the video.

Speaker 3 (09:16):
God, you've become some sort of a vanity freak.

Speaker 4 (09:18):
I love it.

Speaker 3 (09:19):
I love it like it's all you think about is
your appearance.

Speaker 4 (09:22):
Why no, it's not all I think about.

Speaker 3 (09:24):
No, you're very vain.

Speaker 4 (09:24):
All of a sudden, you know, I get rid of
the hair, little botox, I'll be good.

Speaker 3 (09:28):
What's next. You're going to be blonde? I mean that's
the thing now, Mikey v is blonde now?

Speaker 4 (09:37):
Well, No, it was a filter he used in the
picture that he posted on the kiss Instagram.

Speaker 6 (09:41):
Yeah, are you going to start using the same filters
as him? You want to use some filters now to
make yourself feel better for whatever?

Speaker 1 (09:49):
The entertainment update with a Billy contend.

Speaker 4 (09:52):
Well.

Speaker 3 (09:53):
Unfortunately, this year's Sexiest Man Alive is not our own Justin.
The actor writer director John Krasinski from Newton, Massachusetts is
the sexiest man alive according to People magazine. It was
announced on Colbert last night without further ado, Joe A
drum roll, plase, this year's People's Sexiest Man Alive is

(10:17):
John Krasinski.

Speaker 4 (10:20):
Here you go.

Speaker 1 (10:21):
Why don't they have the honor of announ thing?

Speaker 4 (10:24):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (10:24):
I think he did it last year too, and the
previous year possibly. I think it's a deal with.

Speaker 2 (10:29):
The name, Yeah, definitely, thing is kind.

Speaker 3 (10:31):
Yeah yeah, but Colbert last night, I did ask Krazinski
if he had leaked the information to anybody.

Speaker 10 (10:37):
The only person I slipped and told was the day
we did the shoot. I went to Matt Damon's birthday party,
and when I walked in, yeap name drump, don't worry
about it. And when I walked in, he was having
such a good birthday and I was late to the
party and he George, oh.

Speaker 3 (10:52):
Man, why are you late?

Speaker 10 (10:53):
And I was like, I was doing this photo shooting.
He's like for what and I was.

Speaker 3 (10:55):
Like premo saxss.

Speaker 10 (10:59):
And yet again he thought it was a bit because
he was like, I'll come here, man. I was like, no, no, congrats, yeah, yeah, yeah,
we'll see who's in Ocean's fifteen.

Speaker 3 (11:12):
Krazinski known for the show The Office, also for Quiet
Place Don't Forget. He directed Quiet.

Speaker 2 (11:19):
He did one of my favorite the movie if.

Speaker 3 (11:22):
It's John Krazinski and my favorite thirteen hour It's all
about Bengazi.

Speaker 2 (11:27):
He does have a new program coming out, a new
movie with Natalie Portman called Fountain of Youth?

Speaker 4 (11:32):
Is that why he got the sexiest?

Speaker 3 (11:34):
That's you?

Speaker 2 (11:34):
They're usually promoting something, so is he not the Is
he not really the sexiest man? Again, they're always promoting
a new project when they're on the cover Good Morning.

Speaker 11 (11:44):
I think John Krasinski is one of those guys that
you overlook and then he starts dating the hot girl.

Speaker 2 (11:50):
And you think, why didn't I like him?

Speaker 1 (11:53):
Yep, he's that guy.

Speaker 2 (11:54):
So true.

Speaker 3 (11:56):
Well, you know who's that guy that you overlook? Benny
Blanco apparently he does get honorary mentioned, though. He does
in the People magazine issue. In the magazine, he shares
tips for boosting your sex appeal as a guy, dressing
with confidence as a guy. And he also admits in
the magazine issue that he doesn't really shower often.

Speaker 4 (12:19):
H that's well documented. He's kind of earthy.

Speaker 1 (12:22):
Why would he admit that would be a deal breaker.

Speaker 4 (12:25):
Yeah, you gotta smell good, Yeah, fresh, You want to
smell fresh.

Speaker 1 (12:30):
It makes you wonder what's going on with Selena?

Speaker 3 (12:32):
Yeah, and she adores him. She was just glowing over
him in this issue. But Blanco, of course one of
the biggest invested music producers on the planet. Here's just
a sample of the long list of Venny Blanco. Is
you look.

Speaker 12 (12:51):
At much baby?

Speaker 1 (12:53):
You should go love yourself.

Speaker 8 (12:58):
You're doing your joking enough show the movie Jaggs.

Speaker 13 (13:17):
Nice.

Speaker 2 (13:23):
That's the best song ever.

Speaker 4 (13:25):
Yeah, he says, that's the longest song. It took for
him to write. Eight days of writing for that song.
They kept changing it and changing it and changing.

Speaker 1 (13:33):
It's amazing.

Speaker 3 (13:35):
And he doesn't need People Magazine, No, you know no,
but he does get on already mentioned. Now we've talked
about the new Zendeia movie with Robert Pattinson. It's been
shooting in Boston for months now. They keep coming back
to town shooting more scenes. Well, we've talked about it a lot. Well,
how about this. Boston Casting is looking for people to

(13:56):
be in this movie, people with distinct or interesting faces.
Now I don't know what that means, but we'll find
out this morning, just after nine o'clock on this show,
because Angela Perry, who is Boston Casting, is going to
be calling into the show to tell you what it
takes to get into this Zendalia movie. Speaking of Zendaia,

(14:17):
the show Euphoria is moving forward with season three. It'll
be eight episodes and they'll start production in January.

Speaker 4 (14:25):
So pumped for this. One of my favorite shows.

Speaker 2 (14:27):
I still have not watched that.

Speaker 4 (14:29):
It's very gritty, it's very great.

Speaker 2 (14:31):
See I've got teenagers right now. That's why I was
like a.

Speaker 4 (14:36):
Lot of drug use.

Speaker 3 (14:37):
I really liked the show. I didn't expect to, but
I really liked.

Speaker 1 (14:40):
It justin I feel like when you were that age,
you had a lot of drug use and a lot
of sex. I that that was not my change experience, So.

Speaker 2 (14:48):
I wasn't it wasn't.

Speaker 1 (14:50):
I wasn't doing drugs. I don't know what teenagers are
doing these things.

Speaker 3 (14:55):
They were doing everything.

Speaker 2 (14:57):
I think there's a lot of everything out there.

Speaker 4 (15:00):
I watched the show, and I mean, obviously it's very
glamorized the show, but yeah, I mean that was kind
of like my life when we were younger.

Speaker 6 (15:08):
Yeah, it's so interesting to see, like how different people
mature differently.

Speaker 4 (15:13):
I just I will say last season, Zendaya's portrayal of
an addict was phenomena. They covered addiction very well, so
I highly recommend.

Speaker 3 (15:22):
She's very good.

Speaker 1 (15:23):
It wasn't last season like four years ago.

Speaker 4 (15:25):
Yeah, so long ago.

Speaker 3 (15:26):
Yeah, she wasn't that good in Challengers, the tennis movie.

Speaker 4 (15:30):
That was okay, that was not her fall horrible movie.

Speaker 2 (15:34):
Yeah, it wasn't. Just we thot horribly.

Speaker 1 (15:37):
She needs to take some credits. I think she produced it.

Speaker 2 (15:39):
Oh she did.

Speaker 6 (15:39):
I think saying that okay, and the weird threesome makeout
thing was kind of.

Speaker 2 (15:46):
It did horrible, It didn't work.

Speaker 3 (15:48):
Tom Brady speaking at a forum in New York City
this week, talking about the struggles of being a parent.

Speaker 12 (15:54):
All the parents in the room know that being a
parent is probably the hardest job all of us have,
and we screw up a lot, and I screwed up
a lot as a parent. So I don't want to
seem like I'm some expert in parenting, because I'm certainly
not that. I mean, I'm I have three amazing kids
that I just try to be there is. I try
to just be dependable and consistent for them, and honestly,
whatever our kids choose, as we know, to do whatever

(16:17):
they want to do in life, we got to support.
And again, the blessing my parents gave me was when
I was that long shot as a kid who was
a backup quarterback on a freshman team. They never said, Man,
don't do that. It's gonna be too hard. Let's do
something different. Let's think about another backup plan. They kind
of said, you know what, go for it. Whatever you

(16:37):
want to be, go for it. And that's probably my
parenting style.

Speaker 1 (16:42):
I agree.

Speaker 2 (16:42):
But it's always good to have a backup plan, right
you got you gotta have a backup plan. Go for it.
But I'm a backup.

Speaker 4 (16:51):
You want to be you want to be encouraging.

Speaker 2 (16:53):
You have to be encouraging exactly. They need to be
who they are going to be.

Speaker 3 (16:56):
Yeah, I'm telling you, I'm really liking this new Tom Brady.
I know what you saying it, but it's like he's
a different person.

Speaker 1 (17:02):
I don't think it's the thing. I think now he's
like being able to be himself. Yeah, I think he
is such a.

Speaker 6 (17:07):
Shell of who he was to like win and like
focus on winning and whatever.

Speaker 1 (17:11):
I think now he's just existing.

Speaker 3 (17:13):
He's also gotten pretty funny.

Speaker 1 (17:15):
He is funny.

Speaker 3 (17:15):
Yeah. How about this. Travis Kelcey and Patrick mahomes mansions
were both burglarized or broken into last month, and the
word is they got twenty grand in cash from Kelsey's plice.

Speaker 4 (17:29):
Take a quick twenty Yeah, they're not saying what was
taken from Mahome, No, twenty k.

Speaker 1 (17:35):
They don't have enough security, that's ye.

Speaker 4 (17:38):
See Mahomes's mansion, it's it's insane.

Speaker 3 (17:41):
Yeah, it's the size of a football field.

Speaker 4 (17:43):
He's got a football field in his backyard and a
golf course.

Speaker 1 (17:46):
And they're also in Missouri, Like you know what I mean.

Speaker 3 (17:50):
Travis Kelcey's got the cameo in the new Happy Gilmore movie.
We've talked about that. What we didn't know though, is
that Eminem flew in for just one day to do
a cameo in the Happy Gilmore movie as well.

Speaker 4 (18:02):
I can't wait for this movie.

Speaker 3 (18:03):
And finally, Denzel Washington has a few new projects lined up.
He says he'll finish these projects and most likely will retire.

Speaker 14 (18:11):
I don't know how many more films are going to make.
It's probably not that many. I want to do things
I haven't done. I played Othello at twenty two. I'm
about to play a Fellow at seventy. After that, I'm
playing Hannibal after that. Ryan Coogle is writing.

Speaker 4 (18:23):
A part for me in the next Black Panther.

Speaker 3 (18:26):
After that, I'm going to do the film Afello.

Speaker 4 (18:28):
After that, I'm going to.

Speaker 3 (18:29):
Do King Leader.

Speaker 4 (18:30):
After that, I'm going to retire.

Speaker 6 (18:32):
Okay, so he has another ten years of working after that.

Speaker 4 (18:36):
After that, that is the ten year plan.

Speaker 2 (18:38):
I love it.

Speaker 1 (18:39):
So he'll get to him and he decides to retire.

Speaker 3 (18:41):
You know what, he doesn't need the backup plan. Can
I squeeze a little laws X in quickly?

Speaker 8 (18:48):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (18:48):
Go ahead.

Speaker 3 (18:49):
He's got a new song and I think we have
a clip.

Speaker 4 (18:56):
It's just the teaser for the song that comes on Friday.
There's no actual so it's.

Speaker 6 (19:00):
Just like the leric, I mean the medley whatever that's.

Speaker 3 (19:04):
Called light again.

Speaker 4 (19:05):
Yeah, the quick tease.

Speaker 3 (19:07):
But we're first on It's quick again.

Speaker 4 (19:08):
What to expect? New music Friday, Always on Kiss Hey.

Speaker 3 (19:12):
We're brought to you by Post at nineteen seventeen Steakhouse.

Speaker 6 (21:21):

Speaker 3 (21:34):
Yeah, but you want to get there early because justin
let me ask you something. If you were to go shopping, right,
who would you want to shop with? Lisa?

Speaker 4 (21:43):
That would be Lisa.

Speaker 3 (21:43):
Yeah, yeah, she's America's number one.

Speaker 4 (21:46):
Are you offering Lisa up to shop with people?

Speaker 1 (21:50):

Speaker 4 (22:25):

Speaker 2 (22:27):

Speaker 3 (22:29):

have the guests over at the.

Speaker 16 (22:35):
No, what is it?

Speaker 13 (22:36):
Super Bowl?

Speaker 3 (22:37):
I'm just saying, Okay, this is kind of a big
deal for me.

Speaker 4 (22:40):
I happen to be a book author. Now, hey, and
you know what the book is. It seems like quite
the book. It'll make a great gift.

Speaker 6 (22:47):
I think I'm excited because I think there's a lot
of good recipes you.

Speaker 1 (22:50):
Can actually make.

Speaker 3 (22:51):
Yeah, that's important from famous chefs.

Speaker 4 (22:55):
Paul Wahlberg's in it.

Speaker 3 (22:56):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (22:57):
We had him on the other day and he was
praising you. Bill. Everybody knows you. He was blessed.

Speaker 17 (23:00):
Really, you are an amazing person and everything that you've
done and all of the things you've done.

Speaker 1 (23:05):
Over the years for everybody in the city.

Speaker 3 (23:07):
It's amazing and we're proud to have you here.

Speaker 4 (23:09):
And that was after you called him Mark Wahlberg.

Speaker 3 (23:12):
Mark Wahlberg is in the studio with us right now.

Speaker 4 (23:13):
Hey, buddy, how you doing?

Speaker 1 (23:16):
He said, to me.

Speaker 2 (23:17):
He goes, I'm gonna he's never gonna forget this.

Speaker 3 (23:20):
Yeah, and he's telling the truth. I'm telling you he
will never drop it. Years from now.

Speaker 18 (23:25):
Let's the poor guy comes in and meets at ninety.

Speaker 4 (23:30):
He gets a big moment on the air.

Speaker 3 (23:32):
Mark Wahlberg is in the studio with us right now, Hey, buddy,
how you doing? All right, let's go to Jenna because
she's on the phone. Good morning, Jenna. Where you calling from.

Speaker 11 (23:42):
I'm from Cooksberry, but I'm originally from Maldon, just like
Justin are Did.

Speaker 3 (23:47):
You know Justin in the old days, in the streets
of Malden.

Speaker 19 (23:52):
He might have known one of my good friends, Chris Organo.

Speaker 4 (23:55):
Oh, Chris Agrano was all right, Peter, Chris Ragano. I
grew up with Chris. He passed away a couple of
years ago in a car crash. Oh, always thinking about
the Rogano family. Then when Regano's telling right down the street, Yes,
I know a great, a tremendous loss in Malden for sure.

Speaker 3 (24:10):
Okay, Well here's the good news. Okay, you've got a
pair of tickets for the Jingle Ball. If you have
the keyword, I believe it is. Book is the keyword.
All right, book is the keyword. So you've got tickets,
but you qualify at least to tell her about the
grand prize.

Speaker 2 (24:27):
Here it's off the hook, so up front seats. You
get to go back stage, which is incredible, and then
we're going to put you up in a hotel the
night of jingle Ball.

Speaker 19 (24:36):
Awesome.

Speaker 11 (24:37):
That sounds great.

Speaker 19 (24:38):
I'm so excited.

Speaker 3 (24:38):
And Winnie will be your escort backstage and that's always
a lot of fun.

Speaker 1 (24:42):
I'll take you to places you're not allowed.

Speaker 16 (24:44):
To be in, so hold on and alphabet mafia.

Speaker 1 (24:49):
All right, Oh, I know if that meant at first.

Speaker 4 (24:52):
I don't either.

Speaker 3 (24:53):
But you get to talk to producer Riley now, she's
very nice. So hold on and we'll see you at
jingle Ball and good luck on the grand prize.

Speaker 4 (25:00):
God all right. Eight ten, we'll do it again for
the jingle Ball VIP. But coming up next Benny Blanco
Honorable mention for Sexiest Man Alive and then the interview.
He talks a lot about how important first dates are.
Lisa has a list on what to wear and what
not to wear on a first date. A lot of
people in the dating world. You're gonna well, listen up,
that's next time, Billy and Lisa.

Speaker 3 (25:19):
That's by the way, Okay, what to wear? What not
to wear on a first date? Lisa, you've got a list.

Speaker 20 (25:25):
Well.

Speaker 2 (25:25):
First of all, Benny Blanco, we were talking about this earlier.
He's a music producer. He has an honorable mention in
the People Magazine's Sexiest Man Alive. He dates Selena Gomez
and in the magazine he shares tips for boosting sex appeal,
like making first date experiences, dressing with confidence, and making

(25:46):
self care a priority. So we were thinking, like, what
is the best thing to wear on a first date?
Because a lot of people out there, I'm sure are
thinking about going on a date. They're going on a
first date. They're calling their friend saying what should I wear?
So do you dress sex? Do you play it safe?
Do you go right from work and you don't care?
So we have a list of colors that they say

(26:07):
are very powerful on first dates. They say that if
you wear green, it means you're confident, If you wear blue,
it means it's safe. You're gonna like, Billy, you always
wear blue. That's like a feeling of safety. So if
somebody is showing up in blue.

Speaker 4 (26:22):
Wait a minute, hold on, do you feel safe next
to Bill?

Speaker 2 (26:25):
Is I do? I always feel safe?

Speaker 4 (26:27):
If someone came in and was trying to harm you
and Bill was next to you, Are you confident that
he would protect you?

Speaker 2 (26:32):
I would probably, I think so, but I would call
you first, I think you Okay. No, I'm just saying
I love you. Purple is considered the color of connection,
and red always makes you feel more attractive. I don't
think so. Res not my color, but they're just saying
it's a strong choice.

Speaker 4 (26:53):
Isn't red also the color that they make the carpets
and the casinos because it makes you spend more money.

Speaker 2 (26:58):
It does. It kind of like gets you a little
bit more. I don't know what like the word is
or something.

Speaker 1 (27:04):
I don't endorphins, Yes, because endorphins.

Speaker 4 (27:06):
Yeah, it makes you want to sit there and just
spend all your money.

Speaker 3 (27:09):
Wow, there's a lot of red in this building. Yeah?

Speaker 1 (27:12):
Or ihearts yeah?

Speaker 4 (27:15):
Lest So what do you think is the is the
correct the appropriate thing to wear?

Speaker 2 (27:19):
So here's my one thing. Wear something that you're comfortable in.
Don't wear something that you've never worn before because it
might not fit you. Right, It might make you sweat
because you're already nervous. Right, So where like your if
you've got a favorite pair of jeans or something like
that that you know fits you well you look great

(27:39):
in that would be my go to because you're gonna
feel confident because you already know that you look good
in them.

Speaker 3 (27:44):
But how about the whole underdressed versus overdressed thing?

Speaker 2 (27:48):
Well, I think you could. I think that, you know,
I think dressing a little bit too like sexy might
not be the way to go.

Speaker 6 (27:54):
I don't know where the data is, but I feel
like you're always going with like cute jeans in a
body suit or a cute top, like I don't think
you need to be wearing like yeah.

Speaker 18 (28:02):
I mean.

Speaker 3 (28:04):
I wore a body suit my first day.

Speaker 4 (28:07):
Well that's a good tip about wearing something you've worn before,
so you don't, you know, get hot and sweat Because infamously,
Billy went on a first date when he was single
and the woman was wearing something that was making her sweat.
Remember that.

Speaker 2 (28:20):
Oh yeah, so that's a.

Speaker 4 (28:22):
Big one, and he was turned off, you know, he
wasn't didn't it's kind of turned off by it.

Speaker 3 (28:25):
So what is wrong with you it's a story. You
never really, I didn't know it was a story.

Speaker 1 (28:32):
Is that different than the girls that had sweaty hands?
The same girl? Sorry, I don't know.

Speaker 4 (28:36):
Ye were something comes right that you know?

Speaker 3 (28:39):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (28:39):
Sure, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 4 (28:41):
We don't want to be too revealing, right, that's the thing.

Speaker 2 (28:43):
To you again, it's it's what you want to put off, right, Like,
what's the vibe you're sending?

Speaker 4 (28:50):
Okay, Winnie, what's the sending?

Speaker 1 (28:53):
I would wear jeans and a bodysuit putting.

Speaker 2 (28:58):
On we're going that's your uniform, that's my unifor I
love the way it looks.

Speaker 1 (29:01):
I love it.

Speaker 6 (29:02):
It's all put together. It's casual, but it's it's cute.
It's not too dressy. But it's not like you're not
like slum you know, you know, a slob. I can't
speak right now.

Speaker 4 (29:11):
What about yoga pants?

Speaker 3 (29:12):
No? No, it depends on where the first date?

Speaker 1 (29:15):
Yes, no, no, no, no, okay.

Speaker 2 (29:18):
If someone showed up wearing yoga pants on your first date.

Speaker 3 (29:22):
Well there's a certain that you can dress up yoga pants.

Speaker 1 (29:25):
No no, no, no?

Speaker 4 (29:27):
What is it?

Speaker 1 (29:28):
Twenty eleven pants?

Speaker 4 (29:31):
She bring her ugs to I love a good pair
of my first pick would be hot pants? Hot pants?

Speaker 3 (29:41):
Can you imagine me liking hot pants? Anyway? Listen, it's
topic time, Okay, this is what we do. We have
fun and open discussions on certain topics. So we want
your opinion.

Speaker 2 (29:54):
You want your first date story?

Speaker 3 (29:55):
Yeah? Have you had first date nightmares? And it was?
Was it because of what you aware or not wearing?
Six months seven nine oneh justin. I'm guessing you'll get
some talkbacks. How do they get there?

Speaker 4 (30:07):

message in for topic time.

Speaker 3 (30:15):

Six months seven nine three one.

Speaker 4 (30:20):
Let's go.

Speaker 3 (30:21):
What is the topic today?

Speaker 16 (30:23):
We're going to be talking.

Speaker 2 (30:25):
Billy and Lisa present Topic.

Speaker 3 (30:27):
Time, talk amongst yourselves.

Speaker 8 (30:29):
Topic time.

Speaker 3 (30:30):
Well, the topic this morning is first dates, right at least,
how to act, what to wear? What to do?

Speaker 2 (30:35):
First date nightmare stories? Whatever, and on them?

Speaker 3 (30:40):
And it's topic time. You can call in six month
seven nine three one eight or justin again. They can
reach out to the talkback mic and how do they
do it?

Speaker 4 (30:47):
If you have the iHeartRadio app. You can hit that
red microphone to leave a message. If you don't, it's
free to download and free to join the show with
a talkback.

Speaker 3 (30:55):
Let's face it, first dates are not easy, never it's
it's very stressful.

Speaker 4 (30:59):
And we're going to.

Speaker 3 (31:00):
Start with Jackie. And Jackie's actually calling in from Rhode Island,
the beautiful state of Rhode Island. Good morning Jackie, Good
morning Billy. So what do you think if you had
a first date nightmare?

Speaker 21 (31:13):
Actually quite the opposite, aad. How you get all stressed
and all, you know, anxiety ridden, ready for the first date.
And I did that a bunch of times, you know,
serial dater, and I got sick of it, and I said, I'm.

Speaker 16 (31:27):
Not doing anymore.

Speaker 21 (31:28):
I'm not getting dressed, I'm not getting dulled up. I'm
just gonna be me. And I wore the dreaded yoga pants.

Speaker 3 (31:36):
Oh you did the yoga pants.

Speaker 21 (31:37):
Okay, yeah, I did the yoga pants. And I had
him to come over with some Chinese food. We watched
some Bob Ross and I didn't didn't do anything special,
and nine years later we're still together, married, two kids.

Speaker 4 (31:50):
I love that Bob Ross the painter yep.

Speaker 3 (31:55):
Yeah, Okay, wait a minute.

Speaker 4 (31:56):
That sounds like a hell of a day.

Speaker 3 (31:57):
I'm more interested in this story. So it was a
first date and you had them over to your place.

Speaker 21 (32:04):
Yeah, yeah, we were talking for a while online, so
I had He honestly thought that I was gonna be
five guys in a pitfall. So it's very uh, pretty happy.

Speaker 16 (32:15):
That I was end up ping who I said I was, And.

Speaker 1 (32:18):
I love that.

Speaker 2 (32:19):
Yes, be comfortable, be yourself, and that's what you said. Yeah,
we're something coming about you know.

Speaker 4 (32:24):
What, Bob Ross. What's more calmon than that?

Speaker 17 (32:26):
You just paint a bigger treat right over the top.
We don't make mistakes, we have happy accidents, and you
have a brand new, beautiful tree.

Speaker 4 (32:37):
And she wore yoga pants, which I am all for.
When he seems to be against the yoga pants.

Speaker 3 (32:41):
I'm all for the yoga pants.

Speaker 4 (32:43):
Really, why, Hey.

Speaker 8 (32:45):
What the heck is wrong with yoga pants and ugs?

Speaker 2 (32:49):
I'm wearing it right now.

Speaker 6 (32:51):
Geez, so chewt that And it reminds me when I was
in high school.

Speaker 1 (32:55):
It was a.

Speaker 6 (32:55):
Uniform every girl in high school. It was yoga pants
from Pink with the big uggs that you are like
sweuching around in a sweatshirt and as a grown woman,
leggings are different than yoga pants. I think leggings are fine,
not for a date like that, but like, come on,
yoga pants.

Speaker 4 (33:11):
That's oh man, I think that's gonna upset a lot
of girls. They love. My wife loves the yoga pants.
Oh yeah, nothing wrong with them.

Speaker 20 (33:18):
On my first date with my boyfriend, I wore a high.

Speaker 11 (33:21):
Necked body suit, a long shacket, and like straight skinny jeans.

Speaker 22 (33:25):
And to this day he makes fun of me because
he was.

Speaker 16 (33:28):
Like, you were hiding the goods.

Speaker 11 (33:29):
You have nice assets and you didn't even show them
off on our first date.

Speaker 21 (33:34):
And I'm like, no, you have to protect the goods
the first date.

Speaker 2 (33:37):
Woow, that's interesting.

Speaker 4 (33:39):
Those are some words to live by.

Speaker 1 (33:40):
To protect the goods. Wow.

Speaker 3 (33:43):
I must admit I'm a big fan of the shacket.

Speaker 4 (33:46):
What what's a jacket?

Speaker 1 (33:48):
It's a lot.

Speaker 2 (33:48):
It looks like a shirt, but it's you know what
you have one? It's a show over the jacket. Yes,
and it's usually like in flannel.

Speaker 3 (33:56):
I think they're very sexy.

Speaker 4 (33:58):
Yeah, all right, they can speak and a men.

Speaker 2 (34:00):
Why are we only talking about what women should wear
on a first date.

Speaker 1 (34:05):
Talk about when a man should wear. I think they
need a lot more help than us.

Speaker 4 (34:09):
Well, you know what asking you shall receive when it
comes to first date.

Speaker 10 (34:12):
So I wear my uniform speedo, an American flag, bandana.

Speaker 3 (34:17):
Go USA. He's all right, that doesn't say sexy. What does?

Speaker 6 (34:24):
Yeah, man, let's go to the mayor real quick, because
he does have met my boy.

Speaker 3 (34:29):
Okay, good morning, mayor. I'm almost afraid to ask, first date,
what are you wearing?

Speaker 19 (34:35):
No? No, this tip is for the guys. I hear
from a lot of straight women and they tell me
what's a turn off when the guys you know, come
on a date. First thing, First, women hate a man
with a bad pair of shoes. So always wear your
best pair of shoes because women look at that. Number. Two,
always clean your finger nails because a lot of straight

(34:58):
men they don't look at their nails before they go out.
They have dirty fingernails. And another girl, she told me
she didn't go on the second date with the guy
because he kept chewing gum the whole date.

Speaker 3 (35:10):
Oh what's with that?

Speaker 1 (35:12):
Yeah, maybe he has a bad breath.

Speaker 19 (35:15):
Yeah, but you know, chew before you go to the date. Okay, now,
when I go on a date, I never I never
wear my little Pony shirt till the second date.

Speaker 3 (35:28):
I knew that was coming somehow. Let's go to Nini
Nini's in Boston. Nini give us a good one.

Speaker 19 (35:35):
Oh Hi, it's Mimi.

Speaker 16 (35:36):
Am I how Mini Murray?

Speaker 8 (35:40):
Yeah?

Speaker 17 (35:41):
Sorry.

Speaker 16 (35:42):
When I first moved to Boston, I went out on
a first date with a guy I worked with.

Speaker 20 (35:48):
Who the first minute I met him, I called my
mom and said, I met the man I'm going to marry.

Speaker 16 (35:53):
So we went to the Border Cafe in Cambridge and
we waited a while for the table, and then we
had dinner and I had three or four margarita's and
they hit me. So I went into the bathroom and
I was really tired. All I wanted to do was
be back in my bed. I was so tired, and

(36:14):
so I left the bathroom.

Speaker 20 (36:17):
And went out and got on the tea, and apparently
in the meantime he was waiting sent a woman into
the bathroom to see if I was okay, and she said,
there's no one.

Speaker 16 (36:28):
In the bathroom. So while I was on the tee,
I ran into people that I went to high school with,
and one of them was like my high school crush,
and they were like, come out for a drink with us,
So I did, oh boy, And then I got back
to my apartment in Beacon Hill and my date was
sitting on the steps waiting for me to make sure

(36:51):
I got home.

Speaker 3 (36:52):
Over a lot of dreams this Karen read.

Speaker 6 (36:57):
I mean, he's very sweet man. I hope you guys
continue dating. I don't know why he want to date
you after that.

Speaker 2 (37:03):
But you left him at the restaurant.

Speaker 16 (37:05):
But it was one of those accident nights like where
you just but we got engaged nine months later and
we've been married for thirty years.

Speaker 2 (37:14):
He's a good guy.

Speaker 1 (37:15):
Good guy.

Speaker 3 (37:16):
Wow, she was the hot.

Speaker 6 (37:20):
Mess that Yeah, yeah, that's amazing.

Speaker 1 (37:24):
Wow, that's awesome.

Speaker 2 (37:25):
That's a really good thing.

Speaker 3 (37:28):
Get on a train and left.

Speaker 4 (37:32):
Do we want to address the never ending him on
a talkbacks going at Winnie for the criticizing yoga pants.
I knew that was going to happen.

Speaker 1 (37:40):
When you want to be stuck in high school.

Speaker 4 (37:42):
Go ahead, I'm telling you yoga pants are very popular. Yeah, yeah,
they're very angry.

Speaker 6 (37:47):
Okay, I'm sorry you feel that way, but I just
feel like, as an adult woman, it's not the first
date situation.

Speaker 4 (37:52):
Okay, I love.

Speaker 11 (37:54):
That Winnie is trolling women for wearing yoga pants when
on her Instagram there are multiple videos of her wearing
the most obscene lazy outfits to work, including a gray
cut off sweatshirt that looks like something Bill Belichick would
wear a football game.

Speaker 2 (38:18):
First date, I said, for I can't.

Speaker 3 (38:24):
I don't know who that was, but she goes right
to to.

Speaker 1 (38:29):
I didn't think you couldn't wear it ever, I said,
for in date.

Speaker 3 (38:31):
Here's the thing on yoga pants. In my eyes, yoga
pants can never look bad.

Speaker 4 (38:38):
I agree, I agree, I think Lisa.

Speaker 2 (38:41):
Well, I mean, what are we talking. I have a
pair of Lulu Women pants and I wear them every weekend.

Speaker 4 (38:48):
Yeah. What's the difference between leggings and yoga pants? I
don't get.

Speaker 6 (38:52):
Leggings are tight like to your like to your body.
Yoga pants are the ones that have like the flap
where they flap over. They're looser on the bottom, they're
like bootleg yeah, I at the bottom.

Speaker 2 (39:01):
All different types, right.

Speaker 6 (39:03):
But leggings are more just like to your body, which
I love.

Speaker 2 (39:08):
I wear the I don't wear the boot cut one. Yeah,
A lot of girls do when they look great, I'm.

Speaker 3 (39:13):
All in with the l as am I right possibly
go wrong with them?

Speaker 4 (39:19):
Yeah, let's get back to these first dates.

Speaker 13 (39:20):
I've had many horrible first dates. Do you want to
talk about the guy that stood me up and then
re added me to say he's so sorry that his
friends deleted everything and that he was on his way
just to walk me from the parking garage to the
restaurant to say he needs to go to the bathroom,
just ditch me and never return. Or do you want

(39:40):
to talk about the guy whose only attribute, only thing
he could talk about with SpongeBob and then broke out
in song in the middle of dinner.

Speaker 3 (39:50):
Worse than I was expecting.

Speaker 4 (39:53):
It gets, It gets so much worse.

Speaker 18 (39:56):
After I got divorced, I decided to go on a
dating app, went out on a date. The guy showed up,
he had vans on backwards. Now mind you were forty
five years old.

Speaker 1 (40:08):
And I get up to excuse myself to go to
the restroom.

Speaker 18 (40:10):
And I came back and he had stuck his chewing
gum on the top of my beer bottle.

Speaker 1 (40:14):
Just to say, that was the last time I ever
went on a first date from a dating app. Have
a great day.

Speaker 3 (40:19):
Yeah, I gotta say, there's a point at which the
guys have to give up the backwards baseball hat. Look,
I don't know what the age is.

Speaker 1 (40:28):
It's waving for forty five.

Speaker 4 (40:30):
Yes, I mean, it's just time and Vans turn it around.
Vans to a first date. I mean, I'm a big
sneaker guy, but I don't know if that's a good
look Van.

Speaker 2 (40:41):
It depends on the guy, right, It depends on the guy.

Speaker 6 (40:45):
To me, Vans in converse or someone I would wear converse. Yeah,
I can't say anything. I like converse a lot.

Speaker 8 (40:50):
Okay, Morning Team, Mary from the North Shore. Craziest first
date was going out with a firefighter who apparently forgot
to break up with his girlfriend and we're sitting on
the couch in his house with a girlfriend. Arches In
screamed that because me all sorts of lovely names, and
it ends with him calling the police to get hurt

(41:11):
a little needless to say, no second date.

Speaker 3 (41:15):
I could do this all morning. The phones, the phones,
Let's cancel anything else do we have for the rest
of the show. Because I am so into this topic.

Speaker 4 (41:26):
We're running out of time. I'll leave you with this.

Speaker 22 (41:28):
I went on a first date to the movies, and
he broke it off shortly after because he said my
purse was too big.

Speaker 1 (41:36):
I'm four nine and.

Speaker 22 (41:37):
I brought like a regular like.

Speaker 19 (41:39):
Case swade purse.

Speaker 4 (41:42):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (41:43):
Maybe it look too I don't know.

Speaker 22 (41:44):
But now we've been together for seven years and we
have a house together.

Speaker 1 (41:49):
So what about that person now?

Speaker 4 (41:52):
Well, I's so much more on the wrap up at
nine to twenty five, but coming out eight ten, your
next shot to be our jingle ballp
