rain has finally arrived. Rain pretty much all day today,
in two tomorrow, and not a minute too soon either.
With the brushfires threatening several cities in town, States of
emergency are declared in North Andover and in Middleton. More
warnings heading into the holidays.

This is not the time to learn how to deep
pryor turkey during a red flag season with this many
brushfires crossing the state.

More than fifty acres have burned up in Milton, said
to be fifty percent contained at this point. I should
mention roads in that area are still closed. Parking lots
around Hoton's Pond are still closed. Teacher strikes are still
going on in Beverly, Gloucester, Marblehead and schools are still
closed and now there's been talk, but still no deals.

Unions in all three towns still being hit with huge fines.
Students still not in school, and it's a fact now
students will have to make up the time over the
February or April vacations or both, maybe even weekends. So
there were talks. There were no deals. Frustrations still building.
