Speaker 1 (00:01):

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Now, this is Billy and Lisa in the morning shots on.
Speaker 3 (00:11):
Kiss and let the holiday season begin. It's the Billy
and Lisa Morning Show. Let's go start a Thanksgiving week,
And Lisa Dunnaman, we start with the word nor easter?
What on earth is going on with the weather this week?
Speaker 4 (00:29):
Well, I think today today is gonna be fine. We're
gonna get some rain tomorrow for Turkey toss, We're looking good.
It's going to be sunny, near forty. But then the
nor'easter comes in late on Thursday. And the problem is
is that both Billy and I will be at the
airport on Thursday trying to fly to see our families.
(00:49):
So yeah, that's the problem.
Speaker 3 (00:51):
I think you and I will be having breakfast, lunch,
and dinner at Logan Airport, probably at Davio's or Wahlberger's
or a mix of both.
Speaker 4 (00:59):
You know what, Thank god, there are so many.
Speaker 5 (01:01):
Options now, the airport, seafoods, you know what, just had
just have dinner there.
Speaker 4 (01:05):
Airport, you know what, we might why not just go
with it.
Speaker 3 (01:09):
I'm sure somebody is going to have like a turkey
sandwich or something. I mean, but no, even the FAA
is giving us notice that there's going to be a
shortage of air traffic controllers, so it could affect flights
across the country.
Speaker 5 (01:22):
If Billy does knock get on that plane on Thanksgiving,
my Thanksgiving is going to be ruined. He's going to
be calling me ranting for hours.
Speaker 6 (01:31):
He hasn't called me. I love that.
Speaker 3 (01:33):
I will well least. I think you have a better
shot at getting off the ground than me because you're
leaving in the morning. I don't leave until night, so
there's no shot my flight is getting off the ground. Yeah,
so the hell with it? Who cares? You know what?
You've seen enough of your family. Yeah, well, I'm not
going down to sea family. I'm going down to get
(01:54):
away from family. Plenty of them. Okay, oh man, So
crazy weekend. We're going to go round the room. I
love doing this on a Monday morning. So I had
a gala Friday night, which by the way, went well
for our Angel flight. But then we decided we would
have an all pajama weekend. So Saturday never get out
(02:18):
of our pajamas and we ended up watching Office Christmas Party.
And while we were watching Office Christmas Party, we decided
to do the Christmas decorations.
Speaker 6 (02:29):
Oh fun.
Speaker 3 (02:30):
And then Sunday, well, once we realized the Patriots didn't
have a shot in hell. Oh god, they're so bad.
The offensive line should just stay home. They'll play just
as well. But anyway, I watched five episodes of The
Penguin justin you were so right. That show is just
ridiculously Oh yeah, I had to go back. I was
(02:52):
privately watching the first couple of episodes. I didn't think
she'd like it, and then she caught me watching because
she said, what is this show? And then so I
had to go back to episode one again. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (03:02):
At least a lot of people might not watch it
because they think it's a Batman show.
Speaker 3 (03:06):
It's not. Batman is not even in it.
Speaker 4 (03:08):
Okay, that's good.
Speaker 3 (03:09):
Yeah yeah, Colin Farrell is ridiculous.
Speaker 4 (03:11):
It doesn't even look like the same person.
Speaker 3 (03:13):
It's crazy. And I don't know who the actress is
that plays Sophia, but she's the best actress I've ever seen.
She's amazing. What did you do, Lise? Oh?
Speaker 4 (03:24):
I had a very busy weekend. We were at Encore
at Mystique. On Saturday night, I planned a surprise like
dual birthday party for friends, totally surprised, slightly hungover yesterday.
They took good care of us. But then we went
to see Gladiator two Oh Boy yesterday afternoon at Showcase
and it is an absolute masterpiece. I will go see
(03:46):
it again.
Speaker 3 (03:46):
And you're going to review it in the Entertainment Report
in a couple of minutes.
Speaker 4 (03:49):
It was fantastic. I loved being at the theater. I
love seeing all the little ones going in to see Wicked.
It was just it was, it was. It was a
really fun weekend.
Speaker 3 (03:57):
What did you do with Justin? I didn't do much.
Speaker 5 (03:59):
But we have a new kitten, so we spent a
lot of time this weekend with the little the little cat,
his name is Jack's And you know, I was never
a big cat person, but we got a good one.
We got a good one. He's super friendly. I didn't
know this. Our listeners actually reached out to me that
orange cats, specifically boys, are very friendly. They're rambunctious, they
(04:19):
love humans. So we were just playing with the cat.
Speaker 3 (04:22):
He's a ginger. He's a ginger cat. Well, has he
done his job yet? Not yet?
Speaker 5 (04:27):
But a post up. No, he's in training. I got
him in training. I'll post a video on my Instagram
at Justin Beezy in a couple of minutes on on
on YouTube they have cat games of mice on the
screen and so we put the all weekend, we put
the iPad on the couch and he just sits there
and looks at him and swatchs the screen. Oh my god, Yeah,
he's in training mice in the house that.
Speaker 4 (04:49):
He's your own little gladiator.
Speaker 3 (04:51):
It's the cat taking ice bats. No, not yet, okay, no,
not yet. What do you do?
Speaker 6 (04:57):
Okay?
Speaker 7 (04:57):
I watched you know how we're talking about like hot
movies for Christmas that make you horny. This might make
you horny, Mary Gentleman on Netflix. Chad Michael Murray is
the lead guy. If you're in if you're like a
two thousands girl, you love him like I do. It
was it was interesting. I mean it was a typical,
you know, corny Christmas movie, but it was cute and
Bill Justin I didn't tell you guys this, Lisa knows.
Speaker 6 (05:20):
But I got a dog.
Speaker 3 (05:22):
Oh my god, I got a dog. I were speaking
to you over the weekend. She was going to a shelter.
I got what kind of dogs?
Speaker 6 (05:29):
It's fun, thank you. He's three. His name's Coda.
Speaker 7 (05:32):
He's like a shepherd mix because he's honestly, like a
beautiful like blonde, like you know.
Speaker 6 (05:37):
Reddish color. He's perfect.
Speaker 7 (05:40):
He's like fifty pounds, he's the best temperament, like medium
level temperament. He's house trained, potty trained, like I just
he's my.
Speaker 4 (05:47):
Like he's an so smart, he's an A wow.
Speaker 3 (05:50):
Was this a last minute decision?
Speaker 6 (05:51):
So this is what happened.
Speaker 7 (05:52):
I decided me and my parents were like, let's just
go look at dog. So we went to the MSPCA
and Salem and they had a bunch of dogs and
I looked at some like smaller dogs.
Speaker 6 (06:00):
I looked at a couple and they just I wasn't connecting.
Speaker 7 (06:03):
And my dad shout out to my dad, he's a
huge fan of shepherds, we had them growing up, and
he's like, there was one shepherd that like wasn't on
the website but just had just got there a few
days and he looked at like the internal list. She's like,
can we see the shepherd? And then I goes, I'm
not bringing home a shepherd, like you bringing home a shepherd?
And I was like, I don't know, And the dog
came in and he went right to me and we
just like that was my dog. Oh my, we just
(06:25):
when you knew, like, that's my dog.
Speaker 3 (06:27):
And you couldn't have picked a better weekend. Don't we
have dog people coming in this morning Harmony Fund.
Speaker 6 (06:31):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (06:32):
They rescue dogs from all around the world, Ukraine and
and save their lives.
Speaker 3 (06:36):
Wow, so we're talking dogs. Is this new dog gonna
soften you up?
Speaker 6 (06:43):
My god?
Speaker 7 (06:44):
Yes, I'm like in love like I like I was,
so I went out to dinner like on Saturday and
I couldn't wait to.
Speaker 6 (06:49):
Get home to go home.
Speaker 3 (06:50):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (06:52):
Yeah, no, it's gonna keep me home.
Speaker 7 (06:54):
Which whatever I pay enough to live there, might as
well stay there exactly.
Speaker 6 (06:58):
Ew.
Speaker 7 (06:59):
No, he's prey trained and he doesn't make a peep.
He's the loveliest dog. And no, he will not be
in my bed. He is a dog.
Speaker 3 (07:09):
Oh, this is awesome. We have another dog on her lease.
Here we go, and the Harmony folks you're coming in.
We're talking dogs for the holidays. Well, this is shocking news.
On a Monday. I did not see this coming. She
told me Friday she may have a dog over the weekend. Okay,
entertainment is coming up. I really don't want to, but
I guess we have to at least mention the Patriots.
(07:32):
Oh my god, it could be the worst team that's
ever taken the fields. Horrendous. There are so many problems.
The offensive line it's it's a joke. And the penalties
by the offense just insane. Anyway, entertainment is up next.
We've got your turkey toss the lineup too. That's next,
And by us from.
Speaker 2 (07:48):
The Planet Fitness Kiss One Away Studios. We're back with
Billy and Lisa in the Morning.
Speaker 3 (07:56):
Hey guys, so welcome back. And I don't think we
say this enough, but I'll say it now. Startup Thanksgiving
week the Billy and Lisa Morning Show. We don't thank
you enough for helping to make us in number one
in the region. So listeners Billion Lisa Morning Show Nation,
thank you so much. And I think it's thanks in
large part justin to the Chalkback Mafia, no big part
of the show.
Speaker 5 (08:15):
You can become a part of the Talkback Mafia anytime,
anytime of the day, it doesn't matter.
Speaker 3 (08:19):
It doesn't have to be in the morning, it could
be any time of day.
Speaker 5 (08:22):
On the iHeart app red microphone, you tap it, it
prompts you to leave a message, and then that message,
well it comes to me, Wenie.
Speaker 8 (08:29):
I'm so happy that you got a dog and it
was a rescue. I have a rescue as well, black Lab,
and his name just happens.
Speaker 9 (08:37):
To be Coda as well.
Speaker 10 (08:39):
My kids picked it out of beings Little Friends in
Extra Anyway, I also live in Randolph, so if you
are looking for places to.
Speaker 1 (08:46):
Bring your dogs, let me know.
Speaker 9 (08:48):
I follow you on Instagram and certainly said to.
Speaker 5 (08:50):
Ansister, oh, thank you Joe another Randolph person, Right, you
did walk your dogs together?
Speaker 6 (09:00):
Yeah, the two codas and.
Speaker 3 (09:02):
Then like want to his yell Koda wow, good.
Speaker 10 (09:06):
Morning morning crew. So the other night my husband put
my kids to bed, he ended up falling asleep with them,
and so I had like a little bit of alone
time and I poured a glass of wine, filled a
little dish with goldfish, watched free runs of Sex in
the City, and it was like the ultimate comfort moment.
(09:27):
What is your comfort snack show combo that just makes
you feel good?
Speaker 6 (09:32):
Love to hear?
Speaker 3 (09:34):
Ooh oh that could be a topic time possibly even
for this morning.
Speaker 5 (09:39):
Though, yeah, I know mine right off the bat. Really,
I won't say it yet. If we're gonna if we're
gonna do it, do it for topic time.
Speaker 2 (09:46):
Oh that's a teaselow the entertainment updates with the Billy.
Speaker 3 (09:50):
Copst And here we go. Patriots waking up losers again
this morning. They lost to the Dolphins in Miami thirty
four point fifteen. Ah boy, they know how to lose.
They do it so well better than any other team
in the NFL. That's a record they can hold on
to and not a fun season for Drake May.
Speaker 11 (10:08):
It's tough anytime you're losing. Yeah, I think, just you know,
like I've always said, hate losing. Woman, I really like
to win, So losing sucks. And I think, you know,
just you know, I told some sign just remember this feeling.
Speaker 3 (10:22):
They suck. Just I can't watch anymore.
Speaker 4 (10:25):
It is painful.
Speaker 6 (10:27):
And the Dolphins talked that good this year either.
Speaker 3 (10:29):
They look good. Yesterday it was amazing that guy can
throw a football but.
Speaker 6 (10:33):
Half a brain.
Speaker 7 (10:35):
Okay, you know, I'm not going to be funny, but
he now is choosing to play this way.
Speaker 6 (10:40):
So now he's choosing this lifestyle. It's he's chosen.
Speaker 3 (10:43):
He loves the game, he's chosen. Yeah, Pat three and nine, Yeah, yeah,
there's no recovering from that. Chiefs one and another squeaker.
They barely beat the Panthers thirty twenty seven. How did
they do it every game? Yeah, it's just right in
the w callum. That's all way up wild. Ending to
the Cowboys Commander's game. I was watching that the Commanders
(11:03):
had a chance to tie the game with seconds left,
but they missed the extra point. Cyberg's got to have
butterflies here for the tie. Yes, that it is good
and the last SCI team's day in history doesn't fitting fitish.
(11:24):
I'm not even sure.
Speaker 12 (11:25):
We just watched.
Speaker 3 (11:27):
You have to understand. Just minutes earlier, they had an
eighty six yard run for a touchdown to put them
in a tying position. They just needed the point to
tie the game, and he missed it.
Speaker 6 (11:37):
Should have gone for the two fair yeap.
Speaker 3 (11:39):
Possibly Yeah. The Monday night game tonight Ravens and the Chargers.
By the way, in case you missed it over the weekend,
Bob Kraft not nominated for the Owners Hall of Fame
yet again. He was looked over. Yeah, he's gonna be
getting that this year.
Speaker 6 (11:54):
Sorry, you're just a billionaire with everything else.
Speaker 3 (11:56):
Well, do you see he was yelling at Jonathan and
the bar and everything yesterday.
Speaker 4 (12:01):
I mean it just frustrated.
Speaker 5 (12:02):
Well, he was probably he was probably all worked up
from the Hall of Fame. Then he shows up in
Miami and you know, horor Scene.
Speaker 6 (12:09):
Four used to be a happy place for him anymore.
He can't go to a place for the team.
Speaker 3 (12:14):
Sure is he sitting on a booster seat he always has.
Speaker 4 (12:17):
Yeah, he's very huge, right, it's a high chair.
Speaker 3 (12:19):
Yeah, it's a famous story. He gets a higher chair
than anybody else in the box. He's very short.
Speaker 6 (12:25):
He makes Billie tall.
Speaker 3 (12:26):
And you gotta love the Celts. They beat the Timberwolves
in one oh seven one oh five. Jalen Brown had
five threes in a row, like he was on five.
Speaker 5 (12:33):
To start the game. Five threes in a row. It
was It was so crazy to watch. He was screaming
in my living It was crazy. Give him the ball again,
give it home again.
Speaker 3 (12:42):
And about this, Bruin's coach Jim Montgomery already has a
new job. The Blues signed him a five year deal
over the weekend.
Speaker 8 (12:49):
This decision was based I would say almost one hundred
percent on having someone of Jim's caliber become available when.
Speaker 9 (12:58):
You know.
Speaker 3 (12:58):
I didn't know that was going to happen.
Speaker 4 (13:00):
His wife's from there and they own a house there.
I don't even know.
Speaker 3 (13:03):
Like it's a natural fit, natural fit. Yeah, so the
Wicked Glad weekend at movie theaters did huge numbers this weekend.
Both movies did well well over one hundred million. And Lisa,
you saw Gladiator Too.
Speaker 4 (13:16):
At Showcase yesterday afternoon. I loved seeing everyone back at
the movies. It was awesome. It's an absolute masterpiece. I
will definitely go see it again. Wow, Denzel was He's
the whole movie basically other than Paul muscal those two
insane and like you'll see the guy from Stranger Things,
Joseph Quinn, you'll see the guy from the first season
(13:38):
of The White Lotus. Like they're like the cast is
like unbelievable.
Speaker 3 (13:43):
Wait a minute. One of the young kids in the
hotel in the first season of White Lotus is the
emperor in.
Speaker 4 (13:49):
The movie, he's one of the He's they're two brothers
and he's one of them. I'm trying to think who
that was so creepy in this movie. They're both so creepy.
But yeah, but Paul Moskal is Glady and they do.
They do show Russell Crowe. Oh there's a clip of
there's a little bit you will see him.
Speaker 3 (14:09):
Oh yes, and it's a movie you have to see
in theaters.
Speaker 4 (14:12):
I would say so just because of the sheer magnitude
of like the fight scenes and the Roman empire and
the coliseum.
Speaker 6 (14:21):
It's really bloody.
Speaker 4 (14:23):
That was my only thing.
Speaker 3 (14:24):
I was like, whoa, oh it was bloody back then.
Speaker 4 (14:27):
Oh, it's like really bloody.
Speaker 3 (14:29):
And the guy I sat with at a fundraiser last
week who plays Vigo, he's got a big role, big role.
Speaker 4 (14:34):
You see him all throughout. The whole movie doesn't end
well for him, but you see him.
Speaker 5 (14:38):
Would you call my wife and tell her all this
about seeing in the theater because she's going to make
me go see Mowana two this week and I want
to see Gladiator.
Speaker 4 (14:46):
You should definitely see Gladiator this coming weekend. It'll be
a good weekend to do it.
Speaker 3 (14:52):
Okay, Well, once I realized my flight's not getting off
the ground, maybe I'll just go to the movie theater.
Speaker 4 (14:57):
Yeah, you guys, the fight scenes are like next level,
Like you have to see it in the theater.
Speaker 3 (15:02):
Justin can't you go into Gladiator and let Jen go
into Mawana two.
Speaker 5 (15:07):
No, because we watched Moana one with with my daughter.
We're gonna go in as a family. I could try
to sneak off for a Gladiator too, but you.
Speaker 3 (15:15):
Know Paul Maskal who is Gladiator and Gladiator too. It's
going to host Saturday Night Live December seventh. Shabouzi will
be the musical guest. Adele wrapped up her two year
residency in Vegas this past weekend, and she got emotional amazing,
I'm so patient with me, so incredible to live nation
to my son. I chose to do a residency, maybe
(15:41):
because I hate touring, but I chose to do a
residency so I could to keep his life normal.
Speaker 6 (15:49):
Okay, I went to this.
Speaker 7 (15:50):
It was phenomenal, Like literally, like, you know, I hate
Vegas and I would go back to Vegas.
Speaker 3 (15:56):
Everybody says Adele's concert. Yeah, it was just ridiculously good.
Speaker 6 (16:01):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (16:01):
It was like I was so because I loved her,
but I wasn't like, oh, I would go to Vegas.
And then when we decided to go, I was like,
this was probably the best thing I've done.
Speaker 3 (16:09):
Wow. Taylor wrapped up her ten shows in Toronto this
weekend and she got emotional Toronto.
Speaker 4 (16:16):
End of this tour.
Speaker 13 (16:17):
So you've been in that, you have no idea how
much leans too.
Speaker 3 (16:26):
She does her final shows in Vancouver December sixth, seventh,
and eighth. In case you missed it. Over the weekend,
Jason Kelsey and his wife are having a fourth child.
Four girls.
Speaker 13 (16:38):
Wow.
Speaker 3 (16:40):
That's a lot of messages. Oh man who a lot
of drama.
Speaker 4 (16:44):
Yeah, he is the ultimate girl dad.
Speaker 3 (16:47):
Yeah. Wow. And Zay and Malek restarted his tour this
weekend in the UK, his first performance since Liam Payne's death,
and he had a cool heartfelt message on a giant
screen towards the end of the show, which is kind
of cool. And uh, Jelly Roll dropped another song over
the weekend. He teams up with One Republic on their
(17:07):
old song Here's a didn't We have a clip of
another song on Friday, justin so he's banging out new music. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (17:31):
He has a song on the Sonic three soundtrack running,
which is really good too.
Speaker 3 (17:34):
I love that all weekend. Yeah. Yeah. Actor Glenn Powell,
who was in Top Gun two also in Twisters. He
was in that movie with Sydney Sweeney. Anyone but you, uh,
there was a Glenn Powell lookalike contest. This is a
new trend now celebrity lookalike contest, And this happened in Austin, Texas,
and I guess he sent a video in.
Speaker 14 (17:54):
I wish I could be there in person, but right
now I'm shooting overseas. Look, I know there is some
cat and a hat at steak here, but I just
wanted to say that the winner of today's contest gets
a personal prize from me. Now you may know that
my parents make a cameo in every movie I make.
But today, the winner of the Glen Powell lookalike contests
(18:17):
wins their parents or any family member of their choice
a cameo in my next movie.
Speaker 6 (18:22):
So cool.
Speaker 4 (18:23):
That's such a great prize.
Speaker 3 (18:24):
Yeah, I think we should have a Lisa Dnevan lookalie.
I was going to say it really cost it's got
to be Lisa Donovan. We can do both, can do both? Yeah, yeah,
come Drush does the Billy and Lisa Morning Show.
Speaker 5 (18:35):
Well that's the new trend, right, the Timothy shalomey that
Harris styles recently.
Speaker 4 (18:39):
Well, one year, two people in the sales department dressed
up as Billy and I.
Speaker 3 (18:45):
Halloween.
Speaker 6 (18:46):
I really nailed it, I think.
Speaker 3 (18:49):
And finally, Mike Tyson now is being offered one hundred
and twenty five thousand bucks to host a Christmas party
in Assiles. Chaps.
Speaker 5 (18:56):
Yeah, he just made twenty million. I don't see him
doing this. Oh, one hundred grand.
Speaker 6 (19:02):
For one hundred grand.
Speaker 3 (19:03):
And the tradition continues Wednesday morning the Turkey Toss. Here's
the lineup, Salem High, Chelsea, Wilmington, Winthrop, Peabody, Sagas High,
Grotten Dunstable, Swampskitt, Medford, Revere, Somerville, Arlington, and the defending champion,
yet again, Everett High School. That's Wednesday morning. The tradition
is the day before Thanksgiving. Yeah, and I kind of
(19:25):
just add to that. For people that you know want
to check it out, you can.
Speaker 5 (19:28):
Obviously you can watch it on Kiss winawait dot com

because dogs are playing a big part in this morning show. Uh,
(20:59):
We've got Lauras Ipsen coming in a little bit later
this morning from the Harmony Fund. This is a very
cool organization that rescues dogs all around the world. You know,
one of the first things I think about when I
see big hurricanes or even the war in Ukraine or
you know, anywhere in the world, the first thing I
think of is, oh my god, what becomes of the
dogs and or the pets, the cats? Right? Nobody gives
(21:22):
them any attention? Well, the Harmony Fund does.
Speaker 4 (21:25):
They're based in Holden, Massachusetts.
Speaker 3 (21:27):
Yes, yeah, they rescue dogs all over the world. Ukraine. Yes,
they're restling dogs from Ukraine and what are the odds?
The same morning that we have the Harmony Fund coming
into the show, at just after nine o'clock this morning,
we find out that Winnie went out and got a dog.
I did, yeah, out of nowhere?
Speaker 12 (21:44):
You know what?
Speaker 3 (21:45):
She announced it on Instagram live before the show.
Speaker 6 (21:48):
No I didn't.
Speaker 3 (21:48):
Yeah you didn't know a live about it? No, oh
I thought you did.
Speaker 6 (21:51):
No, I didn't see.
Speaker 3 (21:52):
I got messages that they knew about it from Alive.
Speaker 8 (21:54):
Wow.
Speaker 7 (21:55):
I was live over the weekend and there was They
were like, it sounds like a dog in the background.
Speaker 3 (21:59):
I go, oh, is there.
Speaker 7 (22:00):
I don't say anything about it on it. I was
in my bathroom and you could probably hear him in
the background.
Speaker 3 (22:05):
Something in her life is weird. Yeah, I noticed that.
Speaker 6 (22:08):
I didn't say anything about it until right when I
said to you an hour ago.
Speaker 3 (22:11):
I may finally have a reason to want to spend
any time with winning cousin Hoda our new dog.
Speaker 8 (22:18):
Hey, guys, Caitlin the hygienist, Whinnie, I knew I heard
a dog the other night on Your Lives, but I
want to know you have the dog's background story, like
where's he from, what happened to him? Why did he
end up in the shelter.
Speaker 6 (22:31):
I'm so happy for you.
Speaker 12 (22:32):
I'm so excited for you.
Speaker 6 (22:33):
I want to go for walks with you.
Speaker 9 (22:34):
Guys.
Speaker 8 (22:35):
Congratulations post to pick soon.
Speaker 6 (22:38):
Thank you.
Speaker 7 (22:39):
So I it's pretty simple. It seems like he was
with the family for three years and they moved and
they couldn't take um. Okay, so he seems very well
cared for. He doesn't like seem like there's any real
trauma behind it. He's the sweetest love. He's so good
Like with children. I have nieces, he's great. He was
good with them.
Speaker 6 (22:56):
He was good around food. He wasn't trying to be
like trying to not anyone like. He's literally an angeliful,
that's he's beautiful.
Speaker 7 (23:02):
He's an angel. He's a shepherd mix. He's like a
blonde red color. He's fifty pounds, he's three, and he's
just the perfect.
Speaker 3 (23:10):
Okay for me.
Speaker 5 (23:11):
So she showed me the picture and I go, wow,
he's beautiful because heads up, shepherds are very high energy.
You're gonna have to walk him and run him. She goes, oh, no, no, no,
he's the opposite. He's the laziest dog ever. That's why
I love him.
Speaker 6 (23:25):
Literally literally take him.
Speaker 7 (23:28):
He wants to go back inside, like I don't know
if my parents have a really big fence in yard.
So I took him in there yesterday so he could
run around. He kept trying to go inside and goes, come.
Speaker 6 (23:37):
On, Cord, let's go outside.
Speaker 3 (23:38):
Nope, just wants to go back to you because he's nervous.
Speaker 6 (23:40):
No, you can't tell him.
Speaker 7 (23:42):
The meaner is so chill. He's the perfect dog for me.
Like at my apartment. I came home the other day,
I opened up his you know, his create. I sat down,
he sat, came out and laid on my feet.
Speaker 6 (23:53):
That's it. The chillest dog.
Speaker 3 (23:56):
Of exercise.
Speaker 6 (23:57):
No, he actually doesn't know.
Speaker 3 (23:59):
You got to give him exercise.
Speaker 6 (24:00):
No, okay, the regular walks.
Speaker 7 (24:02):
They actually said, you're not going to hike with him
or anything like that, And I was like, no, I'm
not a hiker.
Speaker 6 (24:06):
I don't hike.
Speaker 3 (24:07):
How was the building receiving?
Speaker 4 (24:09):
Billy shut up, Well, you have to pay extra, I
guess ye.
Speaker 3 (24:13):
Well, now she got.
Speaker 6 (24:17):
I was never gonna say that publicly.
Speaker 3 (24:19):
Yeah, well, well you know.
Speaker 4 (24:21):
What the cats are right, you're paying.
Speaker 3 (24:27):
Anything. Ask your question, Wow, Billy.
Speaker 7 (24:32):
I said, He's He's like, you know, I'm like no,
but I've had dogs in my apartment like that visit Like, well,
he's just visiting.
Speaker 3 (24:38):
He's visiting. He's visiting for the rest of our You
just got to assume it's going on the air. If
you're in the building, don't get attached to Cody. He's
just visiting.
Speaker 4 (24:45):
Oh my god, he's so cute.
Speaker 13 (24:47):
Winning.
Speaker 5 (24:48):
Yeah, congratulations winning, Let's go to Jen in line three.
I believe she has called her twenty five. Hello, Hi,
good morning, how are you. You're in Burlington?
Speaker 3 (24:59):
What's up?
Speaker 9 (25:02):
Let's just call to see you about jingle Ball tickets hopefully.
Speaker 11 (25:04):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (25:05):
Well do you have a keyword, Jen?
Speaker 6 (25:07):
Sure do it's dog.
Speaker 3 (25:08):
Dog is the keyword. Yep. So now you've got tickets.
You're in the doors at the TD Garden. But you'll
also qualify for the VIP package. And to explain that
to her least.
Speaker 4 (25:18):
Well, the VIP package is upfront tickets to jingle Ball,
you get to go backstage, meet an artist, and then
we're going to put you up in a cool hotel
the night of jingle Ball.
Speaker 3 (25:26):
Okay, Jens, that'd be great.
Speaker 16 (25:28):
My daughter is going to be so excited.
Speaker 3 (25:29):
Oh yeah, she's excited just to go to the show
and to think she may have a hotel room and
backstage and everything else. Yep, that'd be great. All right,
good job mom. Yeah, we'll do it again at eight ten.
Speaker 5 (25:39):
But the keywords should have been pay, as in when
he is going to pay now for beautiful?
Speaker 15 (25:46):
All right?
Speaker 5 (25:46):
Coming up next for a topic of the morning, what
is your combo show snack combo that makes you feel comfortable?
Speaker 3 (25:52):
What snack and what show? That discussion next time?
Speaker 6 (25:55):
Lisa Kiss one O eight.
Speaker 10 (25:57):
Good Morning, Morning Crew. So the other my husband put
my kids to bed. He ended up calling asleep with them,
and so I had like a little bit of alone
time and I poured a glass of wine, filled a
little dish with goldfish, watch free runs of Sex in
the City, and it was like the ultimate comfort moment.
(26:18):
What is your comfort snack show combo that just makes
you feel good?
Speaker 4 (26:23):
Love to hear, hmm, good question, good talkbacker snack and
show combos?
Speaker 3 (26:31):
Okay, I have mine.
Speaker 7 (26:32):
Yeah, your job boy meets world with this is very
specific hostess, cupcake.
Speaker 6 (26:38):
And milk, all right, the whole one.
Speaker 7 (26:43):
I mean, I'm coming back to like when I was like,
you know, younger, you know obviously child, and that's what
you want, Like.
Speaker 5 (26:48):
So you eat to write a pack, eat a little pack. Yeah,
but it's so quick, it'd be done so quick.
Speaker 4 (26:55):
You can nibble.
Speaker 6 (26:57):
I'm just trying to think of something that literally ginks
you comfort.
Speaker 3 (27:00):
Is that? Yeah, No, it's good, it's good. It's good.
Speaker 5 (27:02):
I think the more I'm thinking more of myself with
hummus though chips are chips, I like Veggie Straws and
you know, I can you know, a whole tub of it,
you know. And then you know My comfort Show And
I've shared this before. It's a little weird because it's
about death and murder, but you know Sopranos. Oh yeah,
Like when I put it on and I hear the
theme song, it just brings me so much comfort. And
(27:23):
then I watched the episode and Tony's like strangling people.
Oh yeah, you know, but it's the greatest show of
all time, so it makes.
Speaker 3 (27:28):
It look good. That's I think that's why I like
the Penguin so much. I liking it to the Soprano.
It's very much like the Sopranos. Yeah, yeah, favorite show.
Speaker 4 (27:37):
And snack all right, so pour myself a nice glass
of French white wine. I like those Tostito lime chips.
I literally just they're so good. And I like Shit's Creek.
I like a good laugh, like a comforting and there's
so many seasons of it, either that or something like
(27:57):
a Double Wars prod or like a Sex in the City,
one of those like girly shows.
Speaker 3 (28:04):
My snacks. I guess it would have to be like
justin you know that you can keep going for a while.
It just doesn't go away right away. Like what a
lasting snack It would have to be either nachos or
chips and salsa.
Speaker 4 (28:16):
Okay, so you're a chip guy too.
Speaker 3 (28:18):
You eat nachos. Well, Michelle makes them and it's kind
of a healthy version and I love that. But yeah,
they're really good.
Speaker 12 (28:26):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (28:26):
I love nachos. Oh god, I do too.
Speaker 5 (28:28):
Yeah, my wife made them for the for the game.
Couldn't have any because it's a Sunday.
Speaker 3 (28:34):
They look so good. Chicken, chicken and che oh yeah,
walks out.
Speaker 4 (28:40):
I'm telling you. The lime tostitos. You can't just eat one.
Speaker 6 (28:43):
Yeah, oh no, you can't any of any of those trips.
Speaker 5 (28:46):
Well, this is a great topic because that that combination, right,
It's like you picture yourself sitting down and you put
on something that brings you back, makes you feel safe.
You can just sit and watch it, you know, over
and over again. And then that food you know that
that you probably shouldn't be eating, well I was.
Speaker 4 (29:02):
Here's here's the track.
Speaker 3 (29:03):
The hack.
Speaker 4 (29:04):
Just take out a little bowl or something and put
your snack in the bowl and then don't bring the
bag out.
Speaker 6 (29:10):
Yeah, you walk up and go back to the kitchen
and get the bag.
Speaker 3 (29:15):
I can do a lease it in, but I always
go back. You keep filling the bowl, ye yeah, and
the chip to fill up there.
Speaker 9 (29:23):
Good morning guys, Happy Monday when you congrats on the dog.
Can't wait to see a picture. So my favorite combo
would be lately, I've been rewatching Ozark and Bloodline and
just finished Friday Night Lights and that is usually paired
with triscus and sharp cheddar cheese with black seedless grapes
and champagne with pineapple rum and just a bit of
(29:48):
orange juice.
Speaker 4 (29:49):
Yeah, she's got to going wow.
Speaker 12 (29:51):
Wow.
Speaker 3 (29:52):
What doesn't say comfort more than Ozark?
Speaker 6 (29:53):
If you want to stop me, you're gonna have to.
Speaker 4 (30:00):
That was one of the best shows ever.
Speaker 3 (30:02):
By the way, as you mentioned Friday Night Lights, that's
coming back, it is I heard last week that's going
to come back, either in TV show form or maybe
another movie. I don't know, but we're coming up on
topic time. What about you. Do you have a show
or movie that comforts you and you combine that with
a comfort snack? And if so, what's your show or
movie and what's your comfort snack? Six one seven, nine
three one one one O eight. That's a great topic
(30:23):
as we head into the holiday season Thanksgiving this week
six one seven, nine three one one one O wait, justin,
how did they get to the talkback mafia?
Speaker 5 (30:30):
Only way to leave a talkback is on the iHeartRadio app,
which is free to download. And when you are listening
to us on Kiss one O eight that microphone icon
that is called a talkback, so hit it and tap in.
Speaker 3 (30:41):
What is the topic today?
Speaker 2 (30:42):
We're going to be talking about Billy and Lisa present
topic time.
Speaker 3 (30:47):
Talk amongst yourselves. Topic time. Yeah, it's topic time. And
just to remind everybody a little bit earlier, we were
talking about shows and or movies that are our comfort
shows and movies that we always look back too and
the snacks that go along with them, and you got
talk backs in there justin? I do.
Speaker 5 (31:05):
Yeah, But we have Jess on the phone. She's been
holding for a while. She's in police, so I want
to get to her first.
Speaker 3 (31:10):
Please Jet's good morning and welcome the topic tome, Good morning.
What have you got for us?
Speaker 9 (31:18):
My comfort show is actually Outlander, which is kind of weird.
Speaker 4 (31:22):
But I read the books when I was in high
school a million years ago, and the show kind of
takes me back to you know, nineteen ninety five or
whenever it was that I read them and I like
to eat popcorns when I watched the show Nice.
Speaker 3 (31:35):
Yeah, popcorn is a big one with everybody. It's a
very common one. Yeah.
Speaker 9 (31:40):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (31:41):
But people have their own versions of popcorn too. You know,
you get that what's that munch that's got everything.
Speaker 4 (31:45):
From chocolate zebra with the chocolate and yeah, the zebra,
you stop eating that.
Speaker 3 (31:51):
It's like crunch something French.
Speaker 4 (31:54):
But then there's like different versions yeah yeah.
Speaker 3 (31:56):
And then some people put their own stuff in the popcorn. Yeah,
which is.
Speaker 4 (32:00):
Good to cheese? Is good cheese.
Speaker 3 (32:05):
Chadar popcorn.
Speaker 6 (32:06):
It's if you just do like smart food with like
M and m's or something like, oh.
Speaker 5 (32:12):
My god, smart food. Oh my god, I can't have
a couple of bites of smart love that. I hate
the whole thing. It's crazy. Speaking of popcorn.
Speaker 1 (32:19):
This is such a great topic. There's so many. I
would have to tear it down to some traditional popcorn,
maybe pretzel and anything with priestweather spans and a cozy
blanket have a good day.
Speaker 3 (32:38):
Yeah. You know, what I just thought of too is
one that I like a lot. Have you ever had
the pretzel nuggets with peanut butter inside? Oh, I can't
stop beating. They're at my house right now. I cannot
stop eating it. And Titus love them.
Speaker 12 (32:53):
Those.
Speaker 3 (32:53):
Oh, it's his favorite snack in the world. Interesting.
Speaker 4 (32:56):
Yeah, dogs love peanut butter, love peanut butter.
Speaker 5 (32:59):
Oh yeah, I have a giant bag in my house.
I was eating them on Saturday. You can't you can't stop. Yeah,
you just keep going and then eventually they rip up
the top of your mouth, definitely, because the sharp edges right,
and you wake up the next day and you're like,
what the hell happened?
Speaker 6 (33:14):
Kettle cooked chips?
Speaker 10 (33:16):
You have the borty into like a cup so that
you don't eat the whole bag of one sitting.
Speaker 4 (33:20):
But that with Grey's Anatomy.
Speaker 6 (33:24):
Just nothing better. It's just classic girly time.
Speaker 5 (33:29):
They remember when Grey's Anatomy first premiered. I would think
it was nineteen years ago.
Speaker 6 (33:35):
It's honestly, at this point, I'm over it. I haven't
still Yeah it is. It's stupid.
Speaker 3 (33:39):
It is Meredith Gray still honest.
Speaker 7 (33:41):
I guess she's half and half out now, I cause
she's still Yeah, Meredith Gray, Can I tell you though,
as someone that used to watch it religiously, I can't
watch it anymore. Just can't watch it too much, like
kill the story just either whatever, like if no original,
like it's just stupid.
Speaker 3 (33:57):
There are new episodes of Grey's anatom Walking. This is
run for so long.
Speaker 6 (34:02):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (34:02):
I did watch it a little bit when it was
the mixed steamy mcdreams. I was a little kid, and
it's still on.
Speaker 7 (34:13):
My comfort show is Sons of Anarchy. I could watch
Jack's telor for probably the rest.
Speaker 15 (34:20):
Of my life, and that's usually paired with maybe a
good box and cheese.
Speaker 3 (34:27):
It.
Speaker 12 (34:28):
I love popcorn, but throw a little bit of.
Speaker 1 (34:34):
Em in there.
Speaker 3 (34:36):
Yeah, you know the popcorn I was thinking of. It's
something monkey something. It's like monkey crunch, monkey crunch, something
like that has got chocolate and caramel and popcorn. It's
like just kills your teeth.
Speaker 12 (34:49):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (34:49):
I love Sounds of Anarchy. So a lot of people
did point out that that with Jack's our new kitten
is from Sense of Anarchy, as is Able and gemma Ah.
We kept Jack with the theme of some yeah wow,
because they're characters from Sons of Anarchy.
Speaker 3 (35:04):
That was like the first show that we watched when
you started dating, So it's a great I knew you
were a big fan of it. Yeah, it's a good show.
Even though all my shows are about like killing, craziness, violence,
I don't know I find comfort.
Speaker 8 (35:16):
Hey, guys listening in about comfort food comfort shows, I
don't know about justin. You know, veggie straws and hummus
as our first choice comfort snack.
Speaker 12 (35:27):
Yuck. I'm gonna shoot some.
Speaker 9 (35:29):
Ben and Jerry's the office for this one.
Speaker 2 (35:31):
Have a good day, guy.
Speaker 4 (35:32):
That's Oh, I know that's your snack. That's what you like.
Speaker 7 (35:36):
I know I almost said the same thing when you
said it, but I'm like, oh, I guess comfort doesn't
mean bad for you.
Speaker 3 (35:41):
A veggie straw.
Speaker 4 (35:42):
They're like they're salty, crunchy snacks.
Speaker 3 (35:45):
Like it's like a little straw of veggie. It's but
it's a chip.
Speaker 4 (35:49):
Yeah, and it's salty. It's good.
Speaker 3 (35:51):
The build is a healthy snack.
Speaker 6 (35:53):
It's air, but they're not.
Speaker 3 (35:54):
That healthy, right. There are chemicals in there that make
it edible. Yeah, but that's why it's a comfort makes
you feel good.
Speaker 16 (36:01):
If I was alone in watching a show, it would
be love is Blind. I'm addicted and it's so fun
to watch. Just not my husband's cup of tea. However,
if it's just my husband and I comfort like nostalgia,
it's King of Queens. Kevin James and Lea Remenie are hilarious.
Speaker 4 (36:21):
That show is so great.
Speaker 6 (36:23):
Yeah, it's a good show.
Speaker 3 (36:24):
It stands at time. Yeah, you know what my two
comfort movies are, and I can't believe I watched one
of them again yesterday. It would be Training Day or
Shooter Mark Wallberg both, and I watched Shooter probably for
the nineteenth time.
Speaker 5 (36:37):
Well, Training Days a movie you watch over and over
to the point where you can recite each line.
Speaker 3 (36:41):
Oh yeah, you know all the Denzel lines is really good.
Speaker 13 (36:44):
Yeah, good morning, everybody, Happy Monday. So it's weird because
I'm in my car so much. But as far as
comfort shows, it's you guys and or your podcast are
the after show. And then when it comes to snacks
when you're in your car, you have to have like
a limited choice. And this is so weird, but I
have like a weird stash of Golden Grams with pistachios.
(37:05):
I know, don't judge, but it's really good and it works.
Speaker 3 (37:10):
I love Golden Grams, but pistachios.
Speaker 6 (37:13):
Well, it's like sweet and salty.
Speaker 4 (37:15):
Yeah, get shelled pistachios that green bag, right, I'll try it.
Speaker 3 (37:20):

Speaker 12 (37:38):
Appreciate so comfort snack. Always going to be a bull
of ice cream and for a show right now currently
binging Seinfeld. So peaceful to just sit down a full
of ice cream and watch your good comedy.
Speaker 3 (37:51):
I've seen every episode of Seinfeld, probably thou five times. Yeah. Yeah,
when it's on, I just yeah, it makes me feel good.
It's a comfort chill for me too. You know it's
still good too. Is Curb Curbs great? It's a good
comfort show.
Speaker 12 (38:03):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (38:03):
Great? Stands a test of timing. Yeah yeah. What about
the Golden.
Speaker 12 (38:06):
Girls girls with cookies?
Speaker 3 (38:10):
Okay, all right, I love the girls. Chip's a woy wow.
Now they have the mini chips.
Speaker 4 (38:16):
Yeah, they go down fast like a handful of the top.
Speaker 3 (38:21):
We know the whole bag is gone.
Speaker 4 (38:22):
I have to say that the smart food justin right,
that's just like I can't have it right.
Speaker 3 (38:27):
I can't even know what is smart food.
Speaker 4 (38:29):
It's just popcorn with cheese on it.
Speaker 3 (38:31):
You grow up on Mars, Like, what are you talk about?
Speaker 6 (38:33):
What smart food?
Speaker 7 (38:33):
It's everywhere. It's in every grocery store. It's and every
food it's smart food. It's the it's a big black
bag that's a smart food on it. Popcorn, So it's
popcorn ches. Yeah, but honestly it's not bad for you.
Speaker 6 (38:46):
It's really low in calorie.
Speaker 14 (38:48):
It is.
Speaker 6 (38:48):
It is cops like seventy five calories.
Speaker 3 (38:52):
I mean, I've been eating it since I was a
little kid. I know. I know they had smart food
at your house and Lindfield Bell. Oh my kids had it.
Speaker 12 (38:58):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (38:59):
Yeah, it's good. Speaking of which, don't talk to me.
I'm on my popcorn break.
