Speaker 1 (00:00):
Oh man, it's the morning after jingle Ball, And if
you were there last night and you're just waking up,
well you kind of feel like us just beaten down. No,
it was such a good night and such a good show.
That place was packed to the rafters and everybody was
having a ball at jingle Ball last night.
Speaker 2 (00:20):
You know what the issue? The issue is that once
I get home, and I'm sure it's the same with
you guys, my head doesn't stop. Yeah, you know. It's
it's so like fast paced and so much fun in action.
You get home, you can't sleep.
Speaker 1 (00:32):
Your mind is racing. I had to have a glass
of wine when I came home.
Speaker 3 (00:35):
I did too. I just had to like just decompress.
Speaker 4 (00:39):
And relax, I like close to midnight.
Speaker 3 (00:42):
I also did the ice bath for my feet justin
Oh you did.
Speaker 4 (00:45):
I could.
Speaker 5 (00:45):
I couldn't feel my feet, That's okay. I had these
pointy toed boots on.
Speaker 4 (00:49):
Oh my god.
Speaker 1 (00:50):
And you did a lot of steps around that gard
seven miles. But one of the behind the scenes stories
to jingle Ball this year is we knew Taate McCray
was in the line We knew Kid LaRoy was in
the lineup, and you know, we've all heard the stories
about Tate McCray and Kid LaRoy dating, but it's like
nobody ever wanted to talk about it. Nobody ever wanted
to open up about it and just say, yeah, they're dating.
(01:12):
It's a real deal. And well, it came up backstage
and we got both Tate McCrae and Kid Learoy to
confirm that, yeah, they're not only dating, but they're going
to be spending the holidays together in Canada. But Kid
Lroy also came out of left field and talked about
how much he loved this city of Boston.
Speaker 6 (01:30):
I loved something about like the vibe of the city,
something about like potentially the like architecture or something like
there's something about the ascetic of bust it, if that
makes sense, that it feels really cool. I do like
the cold weather. I think you guys have some really
good restaurants out here. Oh yeah, I went to I've
actually been in his breakfast restaurant a couple of times
out here, code Tat.
Speaker 2 (01:50):
Oh yeah, that's pretty good. I got a nice breakfast
sandwich this morning.
Speaker 3 (01:55):
We love their breakfast sandwiches too, Yeah, we do.
Speaker 4 (01:57):
We love their food.
Speaker 5 (01:58):
And I want to say that Tata is tatte and
it also spells tape.
Speaker 1 (02:04):
Yeah, that's why he goes there. Like, look, I.
Speaker 2 (02:07):
Know when you said it, I was like, yeah, yeah,
that makes sense.
Speaker 1 (02:11):
By the way, Tata is more than a breakfast place.
Speaker 2 (02:14):
They do dinner, they do lunch.
Speaker 1 (02:15):
In fact, I'm recommending, as I did last night to
kid LaRoy the short ripped dinner.
Speaker 4 (02:20):
They have a very chocolate croissant too.
Speaker 1 (02:22):
Ooh that's good to know if you're hanging out for
coffee this morning. But we got to talking off the air. Now,
imagine you've got kid LaRoy and Tate mccraid. These people
are both in their twenties.
Speaker 4 (02:34):
Right, they're twenty one.
Speaker 5 (02:35):
They're living the dream. They're pop stars. They're beautiful, and
they're dated.
Speaker 1 (02:40):
Yes, and they're on the jingle Ball Tour and they've
got their own tours going on. He just came off
a tour in Australia, where he's from, and like, yeah,
living the superstar life in their twenties. Here they are
in Boston. They do a giant show, they're adored by fans,
and then they've got their teams with them and then
they go check into a hotel and they just kicked
(03:02):
back and.
Speaker 5 (03:03):
They go out for these romantic dinners. We were saying,
it's like a Hallmark movie. Yeah, like Lindsay Lohan should
start it or something right.
Speaker 7 (03:10):
Just from the stage and then they probably just at
the Newberry Hotel or something in the room talking about what.
Speaker 4 (03:14):
Was your set?
Speaker 2 (03:15):
How was your set?
Speaker 3 (03:16):
Like it's so cozy.
Speaker 2 (03:17):
Yeah, he mentioned going to dinner last night, but he
couldn't think of the restaurant. He said. It was a
restaurant the same people that own Carbone. Which one it was, Oh,
I thought, he said, saying people own their own coppo.
Speaker 1 (03:30):
He said Carbone.
Speaker 2 (03:31):
I thought he said Carbon and then that's Kintessa.
Speaker 1 (03:33):
Yeah, they probably are at.
Speaker 2 (03:36):
The Yeah, oh I shouldn't say that.
Speaker 4 (03:38):
Well they're gone.
Speaker 3 (03:40):
They're gone now.
Speaker 1 (03:40):
Yeah, yeah, that's not a big deal. Do you think
they fly private in their.
Speaker 4 (03:44):
Twenties sometimes depending on where they're going.
Speaker 2 (03:48):
What they're doing is now they get on the private
It's right right out of a movie. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (03:52):
I would watch it.
Speaker 2 (03:53):
Yeah, it's god. They should shoot it for the reality
show or something. Wow.
Speaker 1 (03:58):
But it was a good time. Everybody was so good.
Meghan Trainer was a lot of fun both backstage and
on stage. And we're gonna be revisiting a lot of
the action from last night backstage.
Speaker 2 (04:07):
Yeah, nine ten, we have some good Megan stuff to
get too. She was great and she's a Nantucket girl,
but she dropped some gems for us on the interview.
We'll have that at nine to ten. Clips of that,
but remember you can listen to all the interview's full
length on the Billy and Lisa podcast page. It's on
the iHeart app. Just searched Billy and Lisa in the morning.
You can watch them at Kiss oneoweight dot com and
you know, relive all the action and all the socials
(04:28):
for Kiss one to wait. A lot of.
Speaker 4 (04:30):
Action last night, Yeah so much was so fun.
Speaker 2 (04:32):
Yeah, jinggoball was amazing. But coming up next, we have
our weird story segment. We did Christmas cards for topic
time and guess what Christmas cards are in our weird stories?
Next a kiss Kiss.
Speaker 8 (04:43):
ONEA wait with the Billy and Lisa's weird stories.
Speaker 3 (04:47):
All right, so we were just talking about Christmas cards. Well,
a realtor.
Speaker 5 (04:52):
Sent a Christmas card and is now being accused of
being a home wrecker.
Speaker 2 (04:58):
I know what, thanks? What is this unbelievable?
Speaker 9 (05:02):
This is David, you sent a Christmas card to my
high house by mistake, and now my wife is accusing
me of buying a house for a hidden girl for
him because supposedly you talk to me back in Jene.
That's my wife's number. You may to strike this ale
before it gets very very ugly. I did not talk
to you back in Gene this, thank you son.
Speaker 2 (05:27):
Yeah. I was talking to someone recently who their wife
is a realter and you know, she's very beautiful, and
he was telling me that it doesn't always go the
right way because you know, you work with couples that
are trying to buy a house, and you know you're
in close contact with the realtor and through the whole process,
and sometimes it works against her because she's very attractive,
and sometimes the wife is like, I don't want my
(05:49):
husband to jealous. Yeah. Too much time time spent, Too
much time spent.
Speaker 1 (05:55):
How about this a strip club DJ? You know the
strip club have the DJ and the DJ booth. They
need their music. This happened in Oregon and it's being treated.
The DJ is being treated in the hospital. Why we
because one of the dancers, one of the stripper strippers
randomly stabbed him multiple times in the back. I think
(06:17):
she intended to kill someone and it just happened to
be Duncan. When she was in the dressing room for
about ten minutes, she seemed.
Speaker 2 (06:26):
Like she was possessed by a demon. Oh this is
actually a really scary story.
Speaker 4 (06:31):
Oh my god.
Speaker 2 (06:33):
Yeah, he's really hurt badly.
Speaker 4 (06:36):
That's horrible.
Speaker 2 (06:37):
That's such a random act.
Speaker 1 (06:38):
She went from stripping on stage to rating the DJ
booth and stabbing the DJs.
Speaker 2 (06:44):
Interesting job to be a strip club DJ. Very interesting.
Oh yeah, yeah I met one one time. I've met
a couple. Yeah, yeah, make good money.
Speaker 3 (06:55):
I guess it's a steady gag.
Speaker 4 (06:58):
And they get tipped out I think by the girl.
Speaker 2 (07:00):
I think so yeah. And the girls submit their own music.
Speaker 3 (07:02):
You know, they have their own their walkout song.
Speaker 1 (07:06):
No please welcome on headliner this evening coming at you
in a hot tub?
Speaker 2 (07:12):
Yeah, this Hazel Lea. The strip is a loan bill.
Speaker 10 (07:14):
Strippers of people too naked, people who may be willing
to pleasure you for a price you negotiate later behind
the curtaint of e I P Room.
Speaker 7 (07:23):
Okay, So last month there was a crash in Colorado,
multi car crash and the driver admitted that he had
ten drinks before driving and told the cops that he
was a professional drinker.
Speaker 2 (07:36):
How much if you had a drinks on them? At
ten drinks?
Speaker 11 (07:40):
Cool?
Speaker 2 (07:41):
Do you want to do road Tiz? Tell me your
ten drinks? Steve right pretty drunk?
Speaker 12 (07:45):
Yeah, okay right now, like I'm the drink.
Speaker 2 (07:56):
Yeah, it's not drinking and driving. It's not funny. I
had a friend that used to try to convince all
of us that he drove better when he was drunk
all the time.
Speaker 4 (08:06):
Yeah, I hope he's still with us.
Speaker 2 (08:08):
He's passed on.
Speaker 1 (08:10):
Yep, we didn't.
Speaker 2 (08:11):
It didn't then, well for him.
Speaker 1 (08:13):
There's another interesting story from the justin archives.
Speaker 2 (08:16):
Okay, it's I mean, what do you wanted to say? Okay,
he's alive and doing well.
Speaker 4 (08:20):
Well, that would be a live you don't need a lie.
Speaker 2 (08:22):
Yeah, all right, Peter rip to him. What are you
coming up the well jingle Ball?
Speaker 1 (08:26):
Last night we were on stage, we were backstage, we
were all over that packed house for the TD Garden,
and we're going to take you backstage for some of
the magical moments and that's coming up next.
Speaker 6 (08:36):
Hanging Hey Wilson is Jason Ulo and you're waking up
with Billy and Lisa in the morning on Kiss Went Away.
Speaker 1 (08:45):
Jason Derulo justin before we dive into jingle Ball. Take
everybody backstage. You got a couple of talk backs you
want to get in.
Speaker 2 (08:52):
Yeah, a lot of people went to the show last night.
They're probably tired like us, or maybe their kids went
to the show.
Speaker 3 (08:57):
It was a great night, good morning.
Speaker 13 (09:00):
I just wanted to call and say thank you so
much for the jingle Ball tickets. I actually gave them
to my sixteen year old daughter and she went with
a friend and they had an amazing time. I just
want to say thank you.
Speaker 4 (09:13):
Merry Christmas, Very Christmas.
Speaker 2 (09:15):
That's very nice.
Speaker 3 (09:16):
You're welcome, thank you, We thank you for listening.
Speaker 2 (09:19):
It's really funny at jingle Ball. You look around and
you know there's people of all ages all across the arena. Yes, sir, Yeah,
you know there's older people, younger people. You know, there's
a good mixed parents their kids.
Speaker 1 (09:33):
One of my favorite parts was twenty one pilots went
out into the stands and they were actually standing right
next to Lisa's sons and their friends.
Speaker 2 (09:42):
Well, there was a moment backstage. Do you want to
get into this in your report or do you want
to do this now? I think I'll hit the Let's
hit the bus, hit the bus.
Speaker 1 (09:49):
Wow.
Speaker 8 (09:50):
The entertainment updates with the Billy Popstad Well, let's just.
Speaker 1 (09:53):
Start there, because we happen to be backstage and we
noticed on the big screens backstage.
Speaker 2 (09:57):
Oh my god, there's Riley Dunnavan. We're Winnie mainly, so
we were recording. You know, we have live microphones. So
when Hee's recording and as she's talking literally recording something,
she looks at the TV and sees Riley in the
crowd with twenty one pilots, and she screams, Oh my god.
Speaker 5 (10:14):
I was so happy that you saw it because it
was a total moment for those kids. They literally came
right up and basically took over their seats.
Speaker 4 (10:23):
Yeah, right there, it was.
Speaker 1 (10:24):
I mean, yeah, didn't they actually take the seat again from.
Speaker 3 (10:27):
One of my friends? Yeah, literally took her seat.
Speaker 2 (10:29):
So yeah, that was definitely a moment.
Speaker 5 (10:31):
I posted the video on my Instagram. Lease it on'm
in one way if you want to see it.
Speaker 1 (10:35):
And I was bummed because you know, we're stuck backstage
so long, we don't get to see a lot of
the show. But the good news is the entire concert
and the back it's going to air tonight right.
Speaker 2 (10:44):
The backstage countdown seven o'clock tonight. You can hear all
the interviews. Also, if you want to hear you know,
the full interviews, they're on the podcast page. So billion
Lisa in the morning on the iHeart app you can
indulge yourself.
Speaker 1 (10:56):
And then Wednesday night to at eight o'clock on AB
see of all places, there's going to be a jingle
Ball special which will highlight so many of the performances
from the Jingle b.
Speaker 3 (11:07):
I wonder if Boston will be included.
Speaker 2 (11:09):
It will be. Yeah, it's all the jingle War in
La New York, Chicago, Atlanta.
Speaker 3 (11:13):
Maybe we'll be on.
Speaker 2 (11:14):
Oh on ABC.
Speaker 1 (11:17):
Hold let me check here, Yeah, yeah, I know. Tate
McCrae closed the show for us last night. By the way,
she's coming back to the Garden for two already sold
out shows in August of next year. We gave away
the first pair of tickets at seven to ten this morning.
We're gonna give away Tate McCrae tickets at seven ten
every morning this week and maybe then some who knows.
(11:39):
But one thing about Tate McCray.
Speaker 2 (11:41):
She loves the garden, tity garden.
Speaker 14 (11:42):
I've been dreaming about my whole life just to play
a headline show there. So it's definitely a bucket list.
Speaker 1 (11:47):
I'm so excited. I gotta be honest with you. I've
been out there a couple of times since.
Speaker 2 (11:51):
The crowd.
Speaker 1 (11:52):
Yeah, I don't want to say.
Speaker 2 (11:53):
It too loud.
Speaker 1 (11:54):
This is a Tate McCray crowd. Really, No, No, they
are loving you in this building to night.
Speaker 5 (12:00):
Oh.
Speaker 4 (12:00):
I love Boston.
Speaker 14 (12:01):
It's always the best.
Speaker 2 (12:02):
Yeah. On backstage, thanks God.
Speaker 1 (12:03):
Well, a little weird when I asked about her plans
for the holidays.
Speaker 14 (12:07):
I'm going home actually in five days to Calgary and
I like Christmas break off.
Speaker 2 (12:11):
Oh you know what's funny.
Speaker 1 (12:12):
I heard you were going to Calgary for the holidays
from kid Leroy.
Speaker 4 (12:16):
Really did he just tell you like twenty minutes ago?
Speaker 2 (12:20):
And I didn't ask. I did not ask.
Speaker 14 (12:23):
He brought it up.
Speaker 1 (12:23):
He brought it up. Okay, didn't he bring it up everybody?
Speaker 2 (12:26):
He brought it up.
Speaker 1 (12:27):
In fact, he brought it up three times. Oh, this
man is so in love with you. Yeah, here was
kid Leroy about twenty minutes earlier.
Speaker 2 (12:38):
Right, Oh, I'm going to Canada for the holidays. Oh yeah,
oh again. Okay, that's twice you brought it up. Hey,
you asked me. I didn't bringing up. I'm being on it.
Do you want me to lie now we're going there?
Do you want me to lie? Now we're going there?
So how's that thing going with you?
Speaker 5 (12:54):
In?
Speaker 15 (12:54):
Tate?
Speaker 2 (12:55):
She's perfect, she's the best. And I did go to
the snow.
Speaker 6 (12:59):
I don't think I've ever been in the snow for Christmas,
so we'll be having a white Christmas.
Speaker 7 (13:05):
He was literally like fawning over her when you mentioned
her book at the interview on kiss dot com.
Speaker 2 (13:11):
The way his face.
Speaker 7 (13:12):
When he said she's perfect, Like, it's so cute, Tate,
what do you think about that?
Speaker 1 (13:19):
How does that? That's really nice? Are you going to
go to your label people now and say why is
he asking to be about I thought that was a
no no.
Speaker 14 (13:26):
I mean, I'm far from perfect, but that's really nice
of him.
Speaker 2 (13:29):
But see, here's the deal.
Speaker 1 (13:31):
That was the topic none of us were supposed to
talk about.
Speaker 4 (13:35):
And that's why Billy, you are the king of interviewing.
Speaker 3 (13:38):
Because the kid LAROI opened the door, right.
Speaker 2 (13:42):
Yeah, Because that's the thing that the artists. They really
don't care. They don't know what I mean, but I
get it. They're labeled their people. They want to push
the music. They want to talk about the tours, you know,
not the relationship over and over again. Yeah, I don't care,
you know.
Speaker 7 (13:57):
Yeah, I feel like I mean, I have missed it,
but I feel like you don't hear much at all
about them because they've probably been picking it about the
music and like both their careers are blowing up right now.
You know they're together, they don't really talk about being
together really to get those sound bites.
Speaker 4 (14:11):
That's crazy.
Speaker 2 (14:12):
There's another part with the tay. You can hear it
tonight in the countdown. It's definitely at seven o'clock. But
Tate talked about Haley Bieber using her at LA Yeah,
and Billy said, you know, how did that happen? And
she said, well, we've been hanging out. Yeah, and Billy
goes justin too, and she's like, yeah, the four of them, Yeah,
it's a happy group.
Speaker 3 (14:30):
Yeah, that's a power couple.
Speaker 2 (14:33):
That's a double day.
Speaker 1 (14:34):
I want to be Yeah. Megan Drayner crushed it last night.
She was thrilled to be back home. I had to
ask about the song Criminals, which is featured in the
show The Perfect Couple, which we all loved. So how
did it happen?
Speaker 15 (14:46):
A lot of like weird connections, like my mom heard
about it happening, and we knew the author from Nantucket
because we're from Nantucket and we I remember seeing the author.
She was famous on our island in my face only
for running a lot outside even in the winter.
Speaker 3 (15:03):
This girl was running sprinting and I was like, wow.
Speaker 4 (15:05):
That's the author.
Speaker 15 (15:06):
That's the famous author, Ellen Hildeboran. Yes, thank you Ellen.
Speaker 4 (15:09):
I love her.
Speaker 3 (15:12):
No way, it's amazing. She's amazing.
Speaker 15 (15:14):
I saw her during the dance the other day on Instagram.
Speaker 4 (15:16):
It was so good.
Speaker 1 (15:17):
Oh yeah, oh yeah, I see I missed Meghan Trainer.
Speaker 2 (15:20):
Did she do the line dance?
Speaker 3 (15:23):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (15:23):
Yeah, you can see it on the kiss Instagram. Bosso TikTok.
It's okay, de frided by the way.
Speaker 1 (15:29):
Megan is going to be lighting up the Empire State
Building for the holiday.
Speaker 15 (15:32):
I filmed it already, but it's coming. It's happening on
the twentieth.
Speaker 2 (15:36):
Yes, it's weird that I have all this stuff.
Speaker 15 (15:43):
Yes, that's going to be amazing, and it was the
coolest day ever and the scariest day.
Speaker 4 (15:46):
We went to the very top.
Speaker 7 (15:48):
Before we move on from Meghan Trainer, Well, you guys
were interviewing her Lisa and Billy. I stepped outside and
I talked to her husband and to Chris Olsen. So,
if you're a TikTok person, Chris Olsen's like a huge
on TikTok has like fifteen million followers. He's her like
she hired him to do content and now they're like
besties and like they were awesome and they're like their
own celebrities.
Speaker 4 (16:08):
Obviously you know Darrel was.
Speaker 7 (16:09):
An actor social celebrities, but no, but like they and
they were the sweetish guys like her whole team or
her whole family.
Speaker 4 (16:15):
Like they're genuinely like really nice people.
Speaker 2 (16:18):
Uh, it was a fun group.
Speaker 4 (16:20):
Yeah, no, it was cool.
Speaker 3 (16:21):
It was a fun group.
Speaker 4 (16:22):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (16:22):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (16:22):
The backstay Jerry gets really crazy, like everything's moving really fast.
People are people are out.
Speaker 7 (16:28):
Well, we've met Megan before, she's lovely, So I was
more excited to meet Chris Olsen because like he's a
TikTok king. So go to my Instagram in Winnie's World
and selfie of us it's adorable.
Speaker 2 (16:37):
M Yeah, what I mean, if you want to.
Speaker 4 (16:40):
Go to in Winnie's world.
Speaker 2 (16:41):
You don't have to go cashier.
Speaker 1 (16:45):
Last night did some old, she did some new, and
we talked about if she had a preference.
Speaker 3 (16:50):
You know what.
Speaker 11 (16:50):
The new ones are always fun because it's kind of
scary and like, you don't know how it's going to go.
So delusional was so fun to perform because love that song,
but it's new and you're just like, you don't know
if it's going to be a train wreck.
Speaker 2 (17:04):
That's a good song. It's an anthem.
Speaker 16 (17:06):
We heard it, Yeah.
Speaker 4 (17:18):
We heard her doing the soundcheck. She sounded really good.
Speaker 3 (17:21):
And we talked about her dancers.
Speaker 7 (17:23):
Oh god, oh they're costumes.
Speaker 2 (17:27):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (17:27):
They had them like Dominatrix, like mass, like dogs.
Speaker 3 (17:31):
Like gay, very Madonna vibes right, like express herself.
Speaker 1 (17:35):
Tam mc cray's dancers were ridiculous.
Speaker 4 (17:37):
Yeah, yeah, the cashes were just a little interesting.
Speaker 3 (17:39):
They were, yeah, a.
Speaker 1 (17:40):
Little bit so justin let's walk everybody through it. The
backstage countdown from last night. That will air again tonight
at seven o'clock.
Speaker 2 (17:48):
That's right right here on Kiss Want to wait?
Speaker 1 (17:50):
And how do they get? The full interviews? From backstage.
Speaker 2 (17:53):
You can watch all the interviews the video Kiss went
to Wait dot com. You can also listen to all
the full length interviews on a Billion Li's podcast page
and how do you Get that Billion? Lisa in the
Morning on the iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 1 (18:06):
And again Wednesday Night jingle Ball on ABC TV. That
is Crazy. It starts at eight o'clock, a long list
of the performances from the various jingle balls. That's gonna
be a big show case you missed it over the weekend.
Did he pull back on his request for bail? Apparently
he's just gonna wait for the trial, which, by the way,
doesn't happen until May. Will Smith, during a show in
(18:27):
San Diego, wanted to clear the air about his relationship
with Didy. We have a clean but the world we're
in right now, it's really hard for y'all to like
discern what's real and what's true.
Speaker 2 (18:38):
And I see your means and stuff. He'll be bigging means.
I said, no, some of us, of us one, some
of us one. But I haven't addressed idiots publicly. But
I just want to say this very clear.
Speaker 1 (18:48):
I don't have to doom with Puffy, so y'all can
stop all your meats.
Speaker 2 (18:54):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (18:55):
By the way, artists are still getting hit in the
face with things thrown by fans. Billy Eilish got hit
in the face with a bracelet that was tossed at
her in Arizona. Jamie Fox was in a restaurant in
Beverly Hill celebrating his own birthday with friends and apparently
people got into it. Somebody threw a glass across the
room and hit him right in the face. Wow, that's
crazy Land, Crazy Land. Patriots. Wow, they lost to the Cardinals.
(19:20):
They're now three and eleven. Seltz beat the Wizards yesterday
Monday Night Football two games tonight Bears and the Vikings,
Falcons and the Raiders. And I want to mention I
have a book signing tomorrow night if you don't mind.
Oh okay, We're going to be a tried in booksellers
and cafe. It's in Boston, right on Newberry Street. And
by the way, a Taste of Boston, my cokbook with
(19:43):
Jenny the Perfect Holiday Gifts. So Jenny and I will
be there and so will world famous chef for the
Lydia Shire.
Speaker 2 (19:49):
And you'll be sitting at the table signing the books. Absolutely,
that's really cool. Yeah, nice Lydia Shire is in the book.
And by the way, you can sign up in advance.
Tried in bookcafe dot com.
Speaker 1 (20:02):
It is free. All you have to do is sign
up and we'll see you tomorrow night.
Speaker 4 (20:06):
Will you be taking pictures of people and selfies that
they want?
Speaker 1 (20:10):
Possibly?
Speaker 2 (20:10):
Nice? Nice? Thank you Bill? Thanks.
Speaker 1 (20:14):
Okay, you guys are leading up to something there.
Speaker 4 (20:18):
I just hope that they want to take pictures.
Speaker 1 (20:20):
You beat down to take Pictureskay, of course I will.
We're brought to you by Wilson Farm in Lexington, the

Farm help you make this year the most festive yet and.
Speaker 2 (20:41):
There you go.
Speaker 3 (20:43):
Wow.
Speaker 12 (20:43):
That song Delusional by Kasha is amazing. That is my
message to all of my exes out there, freaking losers from.
Speaker 8 (20:54):
The planet Fitness Kiss one of my studios. We're back
with Billy and Lisa in the morning.
Speaker 1 (21:01):
So the morning after jingle Ball, I almost enjoy as
much as a jingle ball itself, because you know, you
come in early, you walk around the building and everybody's
talking about it. Everybody has favorite moments from the jingle ball, backstage,
on stage, in the crowd, the concessions, whatever, and so
we had, I mean Tate McCrae and the kid Larroy
(21:22):
that story. We kind of broke it backstage. That should
actually go naturally. I think you said, you know that
their official and they're spending the holidays together in Canada.
And Megan Trainer. We had a lot of fun with
Megan Trainer backstage. You're getting talkbacks on.
Speaker 17 (21:36):
Meghan right just wondering did you get any info from
Meghan Trainer about what she's doing on Thursday. She did
grow up on Nantucket, but she went to high school
on the Cape, and her high school is having a
concert on Thursday night inviting back many alumni with the
promise of special guests to celebrate a new auditorium. Will
she be on Cape on Thursday night?
Speaker 1 (21:57):
Give the info, Billy Well, I think we disappointing news
for the folks on Nantucket and at the high school
because her going to Nantucket came up last night, right Chester.
Speaker 3 (22:07):
It's so good to be home it's cold.
Speaker 1 (22:09):
I love it. Now, do you get to Nantucket when
you get back here?
Speaker 3 (22:12):
Oh, you know how hard that is to get there?
Speaker 8 (22:14):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (22:14):
God, especially you don't want to be on that berry.
Speaker 4 (22:17):
No, but my husband wants to go so bad.
Speaker 15 (22:19):
We've been together for like eight years and he's like,
why haven't you taken me home? And I just I
keep waiting for my kids to be able to walk.
Speaker 2 (22:26):
You've never taken them to.
Speaker 3 (22:27):
No, it's so far, dude, we live on the other
side of the world. It's so far. But I will
I promise that.
Speaker 15 (22:34):
I want to bring my whole family and make it
a huge thing.
Speaker 1 (22:37):
So maybe there's a scheduling glitch because someone on Nantucket
is convinced that she's going to the high school.
Speaker 2 (22:43):
Well, that's using a special guest.
Speaker 4 (22:44):
That could be like Billy Cock, It could be anybody.
Speaker 1 (22:47):
It's probably like a whaler. Yeah, you know, a whaling captain.
Speaker 2 (22:50):
Well you know what. Megan's answer is, No, My.
Speaker 3 (22:52):
Son is no. Manana is no.
Speaker 4 (22:55):
You need to let it go onto the I love that.
Speaker 2 (22:59):
That's a good song.
Speaker 3 (23:01):
It was really good.
Speaker 2 (23:02):
That was good. No, I try right. My name is no,
my sign is no, my number is no. You need
to let it out. You need to let it out. No, No,
come on, I like that version. Did she do that
last night? I did not. I only saw criminals. That
(23:22):
was I'm not sure you know.
Speaker 5 (23:25):
That story that she told backstage about how that whole
thing happened, the Perfect Couple dance scene. I had no
idea that her mother and they were like into it,
like they were, they made it happen.
Speaker 1 (23:39):
Her friend was the choreographer or something, and she was
talking about the dancers that were harder. I mean, the
actors were the hardest to teach. Yeah, just weren't much
of a dancer, you know.
Speaker 5 (23:47):
Well, a lot of them didn't want to do it.
That was a big story when it first came out.
Speaker 1 (23:50):
And I had told Megan backstage that, Yeah, yesterday morning,
I was up having coffee and one of the networks
had an in depth piece on Nicole Kidman and She's
got a hot move, no cold baby girl. Yeah, And
the very first thing you saw in the Cold Kidney
piece was the line dance from The Perfect Couple and
Megan Trainer's song It.
Speaker 2 (24:10):
Just must be so cool to make a song and
then see it featured in a hit TV show and
having all the actors do the dance totally.
Speaker 1 (24:17):
It's a hard line dances.
Speaker 3 (24:19):
I think we should do it.
Speaker 2 (24:21):
I don't have I wasn't born with moves.
Speaker 3 (24:23):
I had one move, a part in.
Speaker 2 (24:28):
The dance where she slows it down and she turns around.
I don't know if I can nail that.
Speaker 1 (24:33):
Oh well, we did to get a choreographer.
Speaker 4 (24:36):
Okay, it out. It's a TikTok to him.
Speaker 2 (24:39):
I got offered five thousand dollars to do the dirty
dancing dance at my wedding and I turned it down.
Oh okay, yeah, you know the one where she jumps
up and Patrick Speeze catches her. Yeah, five grand I
was offered. If I would, I would practice rehears and
do that at the wedding. So you're that bad? I mean,
I think you're born with rhythm or not. I mean
(24:59):
I can do the little one two shake, but have
a little one chooch?
Speaker 4 (25:03):
Can you do it right now?
Speaker 2 (25:04):
Please? No, thank you?
Speaker 1 (25:05):
But anyway, speaking to Megan, don't forget Friday night, she'll
be doing a special in New York City where she
lights up the Empire State Building.
Speaker 2 (25:13):
Yeah, she's going to New York. You coulda gone a Nantucket.
Speaker 4 (25:16):
That's right, Hi guys.
Speaker 18 (25:17):
My daughter is six and as a surprise she would
take him to the jingle Ball last night. She loved Kesha,
Tait McCrae and bensim boone. But the highlight of her
day or her concert was when twenty one pilots went
out into the crowd and I think they sung Rudolf
the Red Nosed Reindeer to one of their daughters. But anyways,
(25:40):
as well, she can talk about that.
Speaker 8 (25:41):
It was awesome, thank you.
Speaker 2 (25:43):
Yeah, so that's a behind the scenes story. They weren't
They didn't do Christmas songs anywhere else. Nope. They did
it in Boston though, so and it was and it
was on a whim too.
Speaker 19 (25:54):
Well.
Speaker 2 (25:55):
Yeah, so there there there stage, people were like panicking
because they did and rehearse, but they nailed.
Speaker 1 (26:01):
It and they brought it last night to the TD
Car and the twenty one pilots were amazing.
Speaker 2 (26:06):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (26:06):
The guy, I don't know his name, the things he
has a big long mics like cord and he literally swings.
Speaker 4 (26:14):
It like a lasso like the mic and the MIC's
lit up. It's kind of cool.
Speaker 1 (26:18):
Yeah, they were serious tats too.
Speaker 2 (26:20):
Oh yeah, well the his neck. That wasn't a tat
that was drawn on his neck was a black covered
in black. It looked like a tattoo. It was, and
it was drawn on.
Speaker 4 (26:30):
Interesting one of them.
Speaker 7 (26:31):
If you're a Disney Channel person is married to Debbie
whatever her name is Gibson.
Speaker 2 (26:36):
Gibson. No, definitely not whatever her name is.
Speaker 4 (26:39):
Oh my god, as I was saying, it escaped my
head what her name.
Speaker 2 (26:44):
Was, Well, thank you for that. We appreciate you know
what you get the hard hitting information saying Labie.
Speaker 3 (26:51):
Whatever, Debbie Ryan.
Speaker 1 (26:54):
Yes, anyway, Well we're here with the computer, is it.
Speaker 2 (27:00):
He get a talkback Leftovers next.
Speaker 4 (27:01):
Good morning to Lisa Justin.
Speaker 1 (27:05):
This is my favorite part Leftovers talk back Leftovers.
Speaker 2 (27:10):
Yeah, it's been a lot about jingle Ball this morning.
Obviously the show was last night, but people are checking
in other things as well, and we appreciate that. On
the talkback, Mike, Hey.
Speaker 20 (27:18):
Morning crew, It's Kristin from Aruba. Still here.
Speaker 3 (27:23):
Happy Monday, have a great day.
Speaker 8 (27:26):
Bye.
Speaker 2 (27:26):
Kristen's been in a Ruba for like a month.
Speaker 3 (27:28):
Do you know what Kristin does for work?
Speaker 2 (27:31):
No idea, Kristen, let us know, Yeah, and stop running
in No, she goes, She Listen. We appreciate it, we
love it. But she literally walks onto the beach every
morning and leaves a talkback so you can hear the
water in the back.
Speaker 1 (27:43):
But listen, it's not enough to tell us you're in
a Ruba. We want stories take us there.
Speaker 15 (27:48):
Well.
Speaker 3 (27:48):
I want to know what she does for work.
Speaker 2 (27:50):
Why is she She's probably been there for like a week,
but it feels like a month. Yeah, but we appreciate it.
Speaker 21 (27:57):
Good morning, morning crew. Christine from Days, just sending all
of my fellow teachers survived vibes as we go into
the full week before Christmas working in our classrooms, trying
to keep the children.
Speaker 5 (28:11):
Occupied with crafts and.
Speaker 21 (28:13):
Christmas themes when we really rather be home.
Speaker 10 (28:15):
Under our blankets watching Christmas movies, as I'm sure the
kids would rather be doing as well. So just send
all the teachers the happy vibes because this week is
definitely the longest.
Speaker 5 (28:26):
Oh my god, So I met someone at the Legends party.
She's a teacher in Lowell and she wanted me last night.
She goes, you have to shout out all the teachers,
this is such a tough week, and most importantly, shout
out the Lowell teachers.
Speaker 7 (28:37):
All right, there we go shout out low teachers.
Speaker 2 (28:42):
Teachers. Yeah, man, I listen to all the teachers they
put up with our kids. You know. Yeah, my kid's
a pain in the butt. I love them, but you
know she has to deal with him for how many
hours a day?
Speaker 3 (28:52):
Yeah, and this is a tough week.
Speaker 14 (28:54):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (28:54):
He got sent to the office last week. He told
him inappropriate.
Speaker 4 (28:57):
Jokes, can you tell it please?
Speaker 2 (28:59):
Yeah, it's not that dirty, but not appropriate for a
seven year old. I don't worry. Here's this stuff, he
said to one of his teacher. To his teacher said
do you want to hear a joke? She said okay,
And he said how many knees do you have? And
she said two. He said, well I have three one knee,
two knee, and a we nie. Oh so he got
(29:24):
sent to the office. My favorite moments.
Speaker 1 (29:28):
I said to Justin, Hey, why don't you bring Abel
over to such and st I said, we don't bring him.
Speaker 2 (29:34):
We limit the places. It's anyway. I love him so much.
But coming up next, we'll wrap up the show. All
the stuff that we talked about, a lot of jingle
ball stuff behind the scenes backstage. We'll wrap it all
up and put a bow on it. Next, I guess.
Speaker 8 (29:48):
Kids, it's the morning wrap up on Billy and Lisa
in the morning.
Speaker 2 (29:53):
Well, guys, we made it through the show. It was
a long night last night at jingle Ball, very tired,
but I think we delivered an outstanding performance this morning.
I agree.
Speaker 1 (30:03):
Yeah, I feel like I need a banana bag or something.
Is that what they call them?
Speaker 2 (30:06):
Yeah? Yeah, little fluids Jackie. But it was an amazing show.
We covered it all morning long. The performances were amazing,
The backstage interviews were amazing. You can watch all the interviews.
Kiss went towait dot com. You can go to the
podcast page for Billy and Lisa in the Morning and
listen to all the interviews. Just an amazing night.
Speaker 20 (30:25):
Hey, I want tickets to jingle Ball and I went
in with a few expectations besides really wanting to see
the beautiful Lisa and Billy Costa, and I ended up
leaving in bisexual panic over Benson Boone's abs and his
gorgeous guitar player.
Speaker 2 (30:43):
So thank you so much.
Speaker 20 (30:44):
This really is the gift that keeps on giving.
Speaker 2 (30:48):
A really cool moment that we saw before we went
on stage, where Benson came off and his manager, who
was roaming around with a Santa hat on, was waiting
for him, and Benson ran up and they just east
each other. Yeah, it was cude backstage. It was a
cool moment. Yeah, it was really good. Everyone was amazing.
I mean, Kasha kid LaRoy, Tate McCrae and twenty one
(31:08):
pilots too. Right when he interesting one of them.
Speaker 7 (31:10):
If you're a Disney Channel person is married to Debbie
whatever her name is, I literally was coming out of
my mouth.
Speaker 2 (31:18):
And it's almost had him. Sure.
Speaker 1 (31:20):
He's very proud this morning.
Speaker 2 (31:22):
Whatever her name.
Speaker 3 (31:23):
Is, Debbie Ryan, Guy, Debbie Ryan.
Speaker 2 (31:26):
There you go anyway, all things jingle Ball go to
Kiss one owaight dot com, kiss on all socials, and
tonight seven o'clock, we are re airing the backstage Top
thirty Countdown from backstage with Billy and I and all
the artists. Pretty cool. We gave away from Tate McRae
tickets this morning. She's coming back to Boston from jingle
Ball to her own tour in twenty twenty five two
shows sold out. Congratulations to Anna or Anna. She works
(31:50):
in the seaport.
Speaker 17 (31:51):
I work at a dental office as a receptionist in Boston.
Speaker 1 (31:55):
Good for you. You can give him a show out.
Speaker 2 (31:58):
Who's the dentist office? Give a shout out Seaport Seaport
Dental associate.
Speaker 6 (32:02):
There you go, Rooney.
Speaker 3 (32:03):
Oh I love doctor Rooney. Lisa Rooney, I know doctor Rooney.
Speaker 4 (32:08):
Yeah, I love that.
Speaker 5 (32:09):
I've actually had my teeth whitened at Seaport Dental.
Speaker 20 (32:13):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (32:13):
See, all things come together.
Speaker 1 (32:15):
Yeah yeah, it's the Kiss family.
Speaker 2 (32:17):
Yeah, you know. And Christmas is coming up next week.
So our topic today was Christmas themed Christmas cards, yes,
no newsletters. Do we like him? Do we not like him?
Speaker 20 (32:28):
I had a friend who got divorced and he took
a portrait of himself and he sent it to his
ex wife as a Christmas card.
Speaker 2 (32:38):
Okay, okay, see what I mean.
Speaker 1 (32:41):
It's best to just let it go and enjoyed the holidays.
Speaker 2 (32:44):
Yeah yeah, or you know, keep them coming.
Speaker 19 (32:46):
So when I was twenty one, I started sending out
Christmas cards to friends and family, and the Christmas card
consisted of only pictures of me when I was extraly
intoxicated throughout the year. So whether this is a screenshot
or pictures people had taken of me, so the whole
(33:07):
collage was me just looking my absolute words.
Speaker 2 (33:11):
I love that. Yeah, me too.
Speaker 1 (33:13):
And we talked a lot about newsletters. I came from
a conclusion newsletters basically come from Karen's.
Speaker 2 (33:21):
I mean, without a doubt. Yeah, and you know what,
they're going to keep sending them over and over again.
They like doing it, you know whatever, let them who cares.
Speaker 22 (33:28):
My dad sends a newsletter every year in the form
of a poem, and this year around because my wife
and I are expecting a baby. He told everyone on
the list that we had been getting busy all summer.
Speaker 2 (33:39):
So that was great.
Speaker 3 (33:40):
Oh oh thanks, sad.
Speaker 2 (33:41):
Yeah, it's something my mom would do, like overshare. She
overshared to win.
Speaker 7 (33:49):
Yes, I'm not going to say it, but his mother
told me way more.
Speaker 4 (33:54):
And I love his mother. I was very intrigued by her.
Speaker 1 (33:57):
Yeah, your mother was giving details about her love life
to Winnie.
Speaker 4 (34:02):
Yet she's very into self care.
Speaker 2 (34:05):
I don't want to go into the details of it.
I love my mom. Boy, she's a hot ticket. Huh.
She has toys around that. No, I don't want to
go billy. She made an inappropriate comment. Money. We'll move on.
We have to move on.
Speaker 1 (34:21):
Worse than walking in on your parents when they're true
in the middle of it.
Speaker 2 (34:25):
But when you go in looking into a drawer and sure,
a little fun this is this is Monday.
Speaker 3 (34:33):
You can never you can never use it.
Speaker 2 (34:37):
By the way, I only know because Winnie, of course,
came running up to it. She's like, I love your mom.
She's my favorite. And she told me, and I'm like,
why do you tell me? Speaking of stories?
Speaker 1 (34:47):
Doesn't your wife Jen have a little problem right now?
Speaker 2 (34:49):
She just no, that's not for the air.
Speaker 3 (34:53):
Can't tell him anything. You cannot tell him anything.
Speaker 2 (34:56):
My my wife has maybe kidney's on going. That's not good,
not good. I feel for her, very painful, very upset.
She's upset, very painful at.
Speaker 3 (35:13):
What you wouldn't give right for him.
Speaker 2 (35:16):
He's just the things I say off the air. Now.
I mentioned to him that I jokingly said to my
wife the next morning she was, you know.
Speaker 3 (35:24):
In pain, and you attributed it to you.
Speaker 19 (35:28):
No.
Speaker 2 (35:28):
I just asked her if there was any help that
I could give her, but I was. She wasn't happy.
Speaker 3 (35:34):
Oh my god.
Speaker 2 (35:37):
I was just trying to help take care of Oh
my god.
Speaker 4 (35:41):
Okay, you know, okay, yeah, I think I think it's
time to the show.
Speaker 2 (35:47):
Well this amazing radio program in its entirety on the
podcast page. Billy on the iHeartRadio. Make sure you subscribe
Bill what he takes? Do you have take a microphone.
Speaker 4 (36:00):
Yeah, I'm going to say goodbye. McCain's up next, mcain.
Speaker 2 (36:05):
We were hanging out with him last night. The Mikey
McCabe is up next. End by
