Speaker 2 (00:05):
To my day on Kids run Away.

Speaker 4 (00:09):
Well, good morning everybody, and a happy Tuesday to all
of you. Let's start with the forecast at least, So
what's it going to look like today?

Speaker 1 (00:16):
We're going to get some snow floorries or something else.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
See a few snow squalls.

Speaker 1 (00:20):
I'm saying, well, I love squad.

Speaker 5 (00:21):
Which could be intense, but it's don't We still don't know,
but it could be this morning.

Speaker 4 (00:25):
Later squalls are weird. They're short, but they could be blinding. Yes, yeah,
A good snow squall will get you going.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
Yeah, so be on the lookout for that.

Speaker 4 (00:34):
Speaking of getting us going, I want to thank Winnie
out of left field. One of us must ow her money,
because out of left field she came and brought everybody
coffee and breakfast snacks.

Speaker 6 (00:45):
No, I was just feeling I wanted a coffee and
I didn't want to come in with an empty hand day.

Speaker 7 (00:49):
Thank you.

Speaker 8 (00:50):
And usually she only stops at Duncan when she's going
to be late to hide the fact that she woke
up late, right, but she was on time, so this
was out of the good grace, the gracious of you.

Speaker 6 (01:01):
I I was walking through at like four twenty five
this morning. I was, I was up and out.

Speaker 1 (01:05):
So maybe none of us owes her money? No, maybe
do we owe you?

Speaker 9 (01:10):
No?

Speaker 1 (01:10):
Okay, all right, well I'm out your coffee.

Speaker 3 (01:12):
Why do you want to pay for it? Was twenty
four eighty nine?

Speaker 1 (01:15):
No, no, you know what, don't ruin it.

Speaker 7 (01:17):
She knows the exact dollar.

Speaker 1 (01:19):
It was rare.

Speaker 4 (01:20):
You not only got it, but you paid for it.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
So I will take it at leasta.

Speaker 4 (01:26):
The situation in East Boston yesterday, What on earth the
bus just took out power line.

Speaker 5 (01:32):
We're still talking about it. They're cleaning things up this morning.
Multiple poles, multiple wires down. So now it's shifted on
one A between Bell Circle and Curtis Street, so they
are making headway.

Speaker 2 (01:42):
But yeah, we're still talking about this crash.

Speaker 1 (01:45):
God, those guys working through the night.

Speaker 2 (01:47):
Yep, it was a mess.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
What was the bus driver? Thank you? I mean he
did a lot of power. A lot of people lost power.

Speaker 2 (01:53):
Yeap, couldn't drive multiple poles down.

Speaker 4 (01:56):
Yeah, traffic backed up for hours and hours, and the
crews worked through the night, and the still out there
this morning and of course, I don't want to make
a big deal about it, and I don't think I've
said this in my career as a broadcaster, but we
had an earthquake yesterday.

Speaker 8 (02:13):
And this thing was felt in Maine. It was in Maine,
off the coast of Maine, right, but it was felt
all the way down here.

Speaker 2 (02:18):
Well, your wife felt it at your heir.

Speaker 10 (02:20):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (02:21):
I got a text from Michelle literally at ten twenty three,
and I think that's the exact time that the quake hit.
She said, I don't know what's going on, but the
building is shaking and the dog is freaking out.

Speaker 6 (02:33):
We saw security footage from like situator or like so
Sure at Hull. I was like, that was I mean
from mein it has to be one hundred and something
miles right.

Speaker 1 (02:42):
Yeah, And here's the weird thing.

Speaker 4 (02:44):
I was watching it pretty extensively yesterday and the experts
were saying, typically like every five or six years here
in New England or in the Boston area, we'll get
an earthquake, but you never feel it. It's like point
h three or something. This was like four point oh.
That's a legitimate earthquake.

Speaker 2 (03:03):
And they said we could have more like we're in
an area.

Speaker 4 (03:06):
Wow, imagine you don't want an earthquake, a full blown earthquake, No,
he does.

Speaker 8 (03:11):
Apparently I was in an earthquake when I was a
little kid. I was born in California. Yeah, apparently one
hit there. I don't remember, obviously, but it was pretty serious. Yeah,
things were falling. My mother was holding me and kind
of covering me. My wife texts me at the same
time you're at Michelle texted you that an earthquake hits
sail in New Hampshire, and she said, I don't even
care because Gemma, my daughter is hanging on my leg screaming.
I'm in my own earthquake here. Can you call mcleans

(03:34):
and get me a bed?

Speaker 4 (03:37):
But it's funny you should talk about things we were
doing where we were when the earthquake hit, because I
was only in one earthquake. I don't know if I've
ever told this story, but I was in Los Angeles
for like the.

Speaker 1 (03:52):
Grammy Awards or you know, one of the TV.

Speaker 4 (03:54):
Awards shows or something like that, and I brought my
friend Bobby I with me to Los Angeles and the
two of us were in a steam room at a
hotel on Sunset Boulevard early in the morning, and an
earthquake kit like a legitimate earthquake.

Speaker 1 (04:14):
The whole steam room was shaking in the hotel. We
were naked.

Speaker 7 (04:17):
Did any part of Bobby Poko?

Speaker 8 (04:19):
Is there any falling into each other?

Speaker 1 (04:24):
No?

Speaker 4 (04:24):
But like it was enough to like knock you off
the benches, the tile benches in the steam.

Speaker 2 (04:31):
Did you rush out of this honor or the steam room?

Speaker 1 (04:34):
Yeah? But the question is where do you go?

Speaker 4 (04:35):
You're stark naked, two men in a steam room in
a hotel on Sunset Boulevard.

Speaker 7 (04:42):
You go in the steam completely naked, no towel, Well, you.

Speaker 4 (04:45):
Have a towel on. But when a quake hits, I
don't think you're thinking about the tower. You're just getting
up and you're running.

Speaker 7 (04:50):
What a way to go?

Speaker 1 (04:52):
Yeah, Bobby, I sound like a good time to me.

Speaker 4 (04:58):
Two men looking at each other, naked, dripping with sweat,
wondering what to do. Now you know, it was like,
holy moley, what the hell just happened to me?

Speaker 1 (05:10):
Okay, where's Bobby Eye today? Bobby Eyes around? I talked
to Bobby Eyes still because.

Speaker 3 (05:15):
You remember this.

Speaker 4 (05:16):
If Bobby Eye he would remember the earthquake in the
steam room. You don't forget that. Yeah, I mean everything
collapses down on you.

Speaker 1 (05:26):
You're an esteam.

Speaker 6 (05:28):
Then someone finds you to your bodies naked over each other.

Speaker 3 (05:31):
They thought you were like gay lovers.

Speaker 1 (05:32):
They're making up stories about you.

Speaker 3 (05:34):
You you were both cheating on your wives in La together.

Speaker 4 (05:37):
You can only land on one thing, right on, A
couple of gay guys were in the steam room and
the quake hit.

Speaker 1 (05:43):
What other story would you have early in the morning,
sunrise on.

Speaker 7 (05:51):
Sunset on a secret gay lovers trip.

Speaker 4 (05:55):
Yeah, even like our families, one wondering what you're going on.

Speaker 3 (06:01):
That's why he left us.

Speaker 1 (06:02):
Yes, that's what he's been doing all these years in
Los Angeles. He has a lover. The bottom line is.

Speaker 8 (06:13):
We're around each other and.

Speaker 1 (06:15):
This thing grabs hold of us again. Yeah, the wrong place,
the wrong time. We're really I get told this all
the time. I really have to write a book.

Speaker 7 (06:30):
I would read it.

Speaker 1 (06:31):
God, I need a ghostwriter. We'll see. You know a
lot of writers.

Speaker 11 (06:35):
You just do.

Speaker 3 (06:36):
Whoever wrote your cookbook, same ghost writer?

Speaker 1 (06:40):
That was pretty quick whenny Yeah I wrote it.

Speaker 4 (06:44):
Okay, Yeah, that's a taste of Boston by the way,
So okay, we're coming up on entertainment.

Speaker 1 (06:50):
I don't even know what story to start with first.

Speaker 7 (06:52):
Well, do we want to go sad or happy?

Speaker 1 (06:56):
I think we should go happy. What do you have
in mind?

Speaker 8 (07:01):
Well, we have a little bit of best of both worlds,
so we'll cover it all.

Speaker 7 (07:04):
But we do have someone on the phone.

Speaker 8 (07:05):
We're going to hold her who felt the earthquake and
want to talk about it.

Speaker 12 (07:14):
From the Planet Fitness Kiss one O eight Studios. We're
back with a Villi and Lisa in the morning.

Speaker 1 (07:21):
And welcome back everybody. Happy Tuesday to you.

Speaker 4 (07:24):
We had an earthquake, like a real earthquake yesterday.

Speaker 1 (07:28):
We've got Sarah from Maine on the phone. Hey, Sarah,
you're in Maine, that's where it all started.

Speaker 13 (07:33):
Yes, it is good morning morning crew.

Speaker 1 (07:36):
It's good to have you on the phone.

Speaker 13 (07:39):
Good to be on the phone. So, yeah, it was
kind of crazy because so I work up at the
big hospital in Portland, and so when it happened, at first,
we were all just kind of like, oh, is it
a helicopter coming in? Is it construction? But then a
lot of us were on meetings with people who were
at home who were like, no, my whole house is shaking,

(08:00):
and funny enough, we had one like I don't know,
five six years ago that kind of originated in the
same area in York County, So you know, we don't
have a lot that happens here, so this was like
a pretty big deal for us.

Speaker 1 (08:15):
But describe the aggressiveness of the shaking where things falling
off the walls or.

Speaker 13 (08:22):
No, I wish, because then it would at least be
a little bit more dramatic. I mean, there was like, oh,
I would say it was an excessive rattle and that's
about it. But again, you know, besides the occasional like
nor'easter or big storm, we don't really have a lot

(08:42):
going on here. So like my text messages were immediately
blowing up. The wordle group chat was going off, like
my uncle, my dad, everyone's texting, and you know.

Speaker 11 (08:53):
We're still talking about it.

Speaker 13 (08:54):
So this is a big deal for us.

Speaker 4 (08:56):
Yeah, and it was felt all the way to Boston
right here in Medford situate out on the south shore.
I mean, not a giant quake, but it certainly was
felt a long distance a simple place in Maine.

Speaker 1 (09:07):
Yeah, it really is. And by the way, Sarah, give
a shout out. I know that hospital in Maine.

Speaker 13 (09:11):
What is it a main medical center?

Speaker 14 (09:15):
There?

Speaker 1 (09:15):
You go?

Speaker 2 (09:16):
Why do you know it?

Speaker 3 (09:16):
Bill?

Speaker 4 (09:18):
You know in Portland, Maine several times through the state
of Maine quite often. I just love Maine.

Speaker 7 (09:25):
It's a good plas.

Speaker 15 (09:26):
So wanting guys, this could be kind of a topic
of where were you and the earthquake hit?

Speaker 3 (09:31):
So I was dropping it down in company time, if
you know what.

Speaker 1 (09:34):
I mean, and.

Speaker 3 (09:37):
Shaking and I'm like, what is going on?

Speaker 10 (09:40):
Like, come on, you can't handle this toilet?

Speaker 1 (09:44):
But it wasn't It was an earthquake.

Speaker 10 (09:47):
It wasn't me.

Speaker 12 (09:48):
Now the entertainment updates with the Billy Cops.

Speaker 2 (09:52):
Okay. Then that that was a lot of sharing.

Speaker 1 (09:55):
Well, we'll remember where she was.

Speaker 7 (09:57):
You know what, there's no such thing as TMI on
the No, there really is.

Speaker 4 (10:02):
And you know, it's a judgment free zone right here
where she was. We don't care where you are when
you're dropping the dime.

Speaker 16 (10:08):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (10:09):
I respect that it was on company time, but I didn't.

Speaker 1 (10:11):
Need to know, okay.

Speaker 4 (10:16):
So a reminder of the Fire Aid concert to benefit
victims of those California wildfires is this coming Thursday night,
two separate venues. Long list of artists performing everybody from
Billie Eilish to Gracie Abrams, Jelly Roller, Cody, Katy Perry,
Olivia Rodrigo, Lady Gaga. We will be broadcasting it live

(10:37):
here on Kiss and on iheartstations across the country. And
finally announced, by the way, the Gaga album comes out
March seventh. We talked about that countdown clock she had
going on on our Instagram. It's going to include the
song Disease, which we're playing on Kiss, and her collaboration
with Bruno Mars died with a Smile. But it will

(10:57):
also feature a new song that will currently debut during
a commercial at the Grammy Awards this coming Sunday night.
So God, God's on the move. And by the way,
just confirmed, Beyonce and Taylor Swift will both be at
the Grammys Sunday night. They're going to be there. No
announcements on whether either of them will be performing, but

(11:21):
that's pretty big.

Speaker 7 (11:22):
It's going to be a big show.

Speaker 1 (11:24):
Oh yeah, So here we go.

Speaker 4 (11:26):
The new season of the Bachelor started on the ABC
last night and Grant is the new Bachelor.

Speaker 1 (11:32):
The woman.

Speaker 4 (11:34):
We're all arriving last night looking for love. Twenty five
women looking for love, and one of them decided to show.

Speaker 1 (11:43):
Up with a live lama. And I'm not kidding.

Speaker 2 (11:47):
So my name is Alex. I am French Canadian and
I grew up.

Speaker 17 (11:51):
In a small town on a farm, and Canadians are
known to be some of the friendliest people in the world.

Speaker 2 (12:00):
So I thought, why not.

Speaker 1 (12:01):
Introduce you to my no drama lomma.

Speaker 2 (12:06):
You can't write, I think you can. So her name
is Linda.

Speaker 3 (12:10):
All right, okay, very sweet?

Speaker 2 (12:14):
A second, what's that Linda? Yeah, I know can keep
his cute.

Speaker 14 (12:18):
You know.

Speaker 3 (12:21):
Sorry, I'm so sorry.

Speaker 17 (12:23):
Okay, come on, you can't say with him nor.

Speaker 5 (12:26):
Okay, you will say that Alex got the first impression Rose,
the girl who brought the law.

Speaker 7 (12:32):
That's an original move. It's a little weird.

Speaker 2 (12:34):
It worked.

Speaker 7 (12:35):
But did the lama go in the house?

Speaker 2 (12:37):
Yeah it did.

Speaker 7 (12:38):
So you're saying the lama was in the.

Speaker 5 (12:39):
Living room, almost in.

Speaker 18 (12:43):
My living room, in my living room.

Speaker 1 (12:51):
Okay, we got it, We got the redax. And these
are real people in this We like this.

Speaker 5 (12:56):
Show because there is a local girl in the show,
Juliana from More Reasons to Watch.

Speaker 4 (13:02):
Yeah, she's described as a client services associate exactly. I'm
not sure what that means, but that's how she she is.

Speaker 6 (13:12):
Just that means after there she'll be an Instagram influencer.

Speaker 1 (13:15):
Yeah. She's also a friend of our buddy Mikey V. Yeah.

Speaker 7 (13:18):
Newton, Massachusetts.

Speaker 1 (13:19):
Everybody's like, where from Boston are you? And I'm like
the streets Newton.

Speaker 2 (13:25):
But we're gonna have Riley on it. Seen.

Speaker 1 (13:27):
Yes, does he already have favorites? Does he have a
pick for a winner?

Speaker 5 (13:30):
Or he always has a lot of thoughts on the
Lama always has a lot Okay.

Speaker 2 (13:34):
Yeah, the Lama was like hissing at people.

Speaker 1 (13:36):
I know, I love lamas.

Speaker 5 (13:38):
The beauty and at one point Grant thought it was
a Donkey's briefly confused.

Speaker 4 (13:44):
I don't think Grant's been a round farms much. Lama's
pretty easy to pat my pickup.

Speaker 1 (13:50):
Yeah, yeah, what time is Riley coming in?

Speaker 2 (13:56):
He's got school.

Speaker 1 (13:59):
Some that he does.

Speaker 3 (14:01):
Uh.

Speaker 4 (14:01):
The first trailer for the new season, The White Loadus,
finally dropped yesterday.

Speaker 2 (14:06):
What a great man you are.

Speaker 19 (14:08):
If we lost everything, Honestly, I don't know if I'd
want to move.

Speaker 1 (14:12):
I just don't have it in me.

Speaker 2 (14:14):
I'm still the same people we were in the tenth grade.

Speaker 8 (14:16):
They're always disappointed, and you're always faith and you're vain
and selfish.

Speaker 4 (14:22):
The new season takes place in Thailand. They've been shooting
it for a while. I don't know any of the
actors who were in.

Speaker 7 (14:27):
The new Lisa in it.

Speaker 1 (14:30):
Oh yep, okay, very cool? All right? That means nothing
to Bill and Walter Goggins.

Speaker 7 (14:35):
You know him.

Speaker 8 (14:35):
He was in the Shields. Oh yeah, he was in.
He's been a bunch of stuff, you know, good at
all right. The show starts February sixteenth on Max. Also
on Max, The Fall of Ditty docu series. The first
two episodes dropped last night at nine o'clock. The final
two will drop tonight. Last night, a former makeup artist

(14:56):
talks about being there when Ditty allegedly attacked his girlfriend, Cassie.

Speaker 17 (15:01):
I'm packing her stuff up once he leaves. I see
the aftermath on Cassie. She has knots on her head,
bruised eye, busted lip. It was horrific, and so all
I can think of was, we need to get back
to my house. You need to get them out of here.
We can't call the police, we can't go to the hospital.

(15:24):
We are scared of puff We're always scared of him.
If we call the police, what would happen. He's a
very powerful person in the business, and he can do
things that will make you go away.

Speaker 4 (15:41):
Yeah, if you've seen the video of the attack in
the hallway, it's hard to forget.

Speaker 1 (15:46):
It's hard to forget.

Speaker 4 (15:47):
And Cassie pretty much is the person that triggered the
investigation which has placed him in prison. Anyway, Yeah, the Baldwins.
This I cannot believe, but the bald Ones have a
new reality show. It's called Well the Baldwins. It's going
to come out February twenty third on TLC. And yeah,

(16:08):
the first trailer is out.

Speaker 2 (16:09):
We had bad moments, but we found our foundation.

Speaker 1 (16:15):
She says, you should look like them. We're solid and
we're here together.

Speaker 19 (16:21):
Oh.

Speaker 1 (16:21):
I can't even Yeah, I just don't know what to say.

Speaker 3 (16:24):
We're going to talk about this when it comes out,
because I don't even know if I have that in me.

Speaker 1 (16:28):
I don't either, to be honest.

Speaker 4 (16:29):
Maybe it's a team vote, but I got to tell
you this. Nobody says it better than Amy Schumer when
it comes to the Baldwins and Hella.

Speaker 15 (16:38):
Yeah, they have a von trap amount of children, and
and they name them all I'm not sure, but very
Spanish names like hormone and croquetta and flamenco, you know,
and all of this would be fine and beautiful.

Speaker 18 (17:01):
That Ilaria Friends with Pania is actually Hilary from Boston.

Speaker 3 (17:15):
This woman is.

Speaker 15 (17:17):
In no way Spanish, her parents are not from Spain,
no one in her life is from Spain.

Speaker 1 (17:25):
So here's my point.

Speaker 3 (17:26):
Okay, I actually have a point.

Speaker 4 (17:28):
Okay.

Speaker 15 (17:29):
My point is that all evidence points to this woman
since she met her husband has straight up pretended to
be from Spain and her husband shot someone.

Speaker 3 (17:40):
Now stay with me, stay with me.

Speaker 7 (17:45):
Yeah.

Speaker 15 (17:45):
My point is neither of them give.

Speaker 7 (17:49):
Up, which which you can, and that's all you need
to know.

Speaker 4 (17:54):
Yeah, with the fact that the show exists, it proves
they don't really care about you.

Speaker 2 (17:59):
That's shameful.

Speaker 6 (18:00):
Yeahl Like they don't dish out I don't need TLC
dished out that.

Speaker 3 (18:04):
Type of money. Like it's not balling money they're getting.
I think they're getting like middle of their own money.

Speaker 7 (18:09):
Definitely a big TLC watch.

Speaker 3 (18:11):
I am I LOVELC the Learning Channel.

Speaker 8 (18:16):
There's a new Dore's a new show outside the new
show on TLC. Have you seen the trailers for this
poor girl? This young girl has turetts Oh Balena, it's
really sad to watch because she has turettstes.

Speaker 16 (18:29):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (18:29):
Well it's a reality show about her life.

Speaker 2 (18:30):
Day in the life.

Speaker 7 (18:32):
She yells and screens.

Speaker 17 (18:34):
Uh.

Speaker 4 (18:35):
Had author Ellen Hildebrand on your book Club and she
just signed with Jennifer Garner.

Speaker 5 (18:40):
So this is the follow up to The Perfect Couples,
which was Nicole Kidman.

Speaker 2 (18:45):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (18:45):
So Jen Garner will star as Hollis Shaw in a
peacock series based on five Star Weekend.

Speaker 2 (18:54):
Yeah, it's really wow. It was. Yeah, it was announced
yesterday afternoon.

Speaker 1 (18:59):
And so they haven't even started shooting it yet.

Speaker 2 (19:01):
But but she signed on.

Speaker 1 (19:03):
That sounds like a good show.

Speaker 2 (19:05):
It was a good book.

Speaker 4 (19:06):
Teddy Swims this week apparently had a gender reveal. He
talked about a gender reveal. He had it one of
our jingle ball.

Speaker 7 (19:12):
He was actually at a jingle ball, believe it or not.
She came to meet me.

Speaker 20 (19:16):
I think it was I can't remember what city were in,
but it was at a jingle ball. She she came
to meet me and we just did it with the
crew backstage, you know, because she had found out and
then we came so we did like a tiny little
thing with our crew and he was out a jingle ball,
which is really cute.

Speaker 7 (19:32):
I got, I gotta, I gotta tell my sweet Mega
Train or two and Daryl like you.

Speaker 4 (19:39):
We had Megan Trainer too at our jingle ball here
in Boston. By the way, his new album comes out
or came out last Friday, And there's a report the
owner of the Eagles is in line to buy your
Boston Celtics. Yeah, he's a big Yeah, I'll take it.
And Cynthia Orivo from the movie Wicked. Apparently it's going
to be part of the Boston Pops spring showcase.

Speaker 3 (20:01):
Oh that's so cool.

Speaker 1 (20:50):
Okay, welcome back everybody.

Speaker 4 (20:51):
A lot of people talking about the earthquake and we'll
be talking about a little bit later this morning. And
he us yesterday we felt it all the way from
Maine to Boston. There's that, But then there's also the
new season of the Bachelor, which started on ABC last night.
We have more interest than usual because there's a local
woman from Newton, Massachusetts.

Speaker 1 (21:12):
Is it Juliana?

Speaker 2 (21:13):
It is?

Speaker 1 (21:14):
Who is well on the show.

Speaker 4 (21:17):
And now we've got Lisa Dunovan's son Riley on this show.

Speaker 1 (21:21):
And Riley are you there?

Speaker 19 (21:24):
Good morning? Yes, well I should probably walk out of
the bathroom.

Speaker 4 (21:27):
I was just questioning, like, okay, you sound like the
woman on the show earlier who was dropping a dime.

Speaker 7 (21:32):
He's getting ready for school, Yeah, of course he is.

Speaker 1 (21:35):
Okay. For the sake of the people who might be new.
Every day we pick up new listeners.

Speaker 4 (21:39):
Billy and Lisa Morning Show, Riley Dunovan, how old Lisa?
Your son he's fourteen fourteen years old, and he serves
as our expert correspondent correspondent on all things Bachelor franchises. So, Riley,
the opening episode last night, what did you get from it?

Speaker 16 (21:58):
So the Bachelor, in case you haven't haven't watched, or
I haven't heard of it. As grant elis, he was
on a previous season of The Bachelorette, but he did
not win that, right obviously, So last night the woman
So there was only twenty five of them rather than thirty.

Speaker 19 (22:17):
I don't know why. I think it's a new thing.

Speaker 16 (22:19):
They're not bringing as many women in initially because it used
to be.

Speaker 19 (22:22):
Like thirty thirty five.

Speaker 16 (22:23):
I think it's noticed that it's been like twenty five,
twenty eight, somewhere around the upper twenties, and there was
a lot of different women.

Speaker 19 (22:31):
They were good.

Speaker 16 (22:32):
I think it was a solid group of gals. I
would rate it probably seven out of ten, not going
to complain.

Speaker 1 (22:38):
Pretty good, Okay, solid group of gals.

Speaker 4 (22:41):
Riley says, Okay, hey, Riley, let me stop you for
a second. So this bachelor, Grant, uh, what do we
know about him? Do they always just automatically go with
somebody who lost on a previous season.

Speaker 16 (22:53):
Uh, not every time, but that's generally what they do.
Like a couple of seasons ago, they did not do that.
They picked someone just like fresh from the audience. But
so Grant is so Grant.

Speaker 2 (23:08):
He was on Genran season.

Speaker 3 (23:10):
He was, Yeah, he's on.

Speaker 16 (23:11):
Jen Fan who's from Boston. Actually, Granted's from New Jersey.
And there's a lot of Jersey girls who were in
the competition last night.

Speaker 2 (23:20):
So who are some of your faives last night?

Speaker 16 (23:24):
So initially I had four people that that caught my
eye from this first episode, obviously Juliana from Boston. And
I would like to make a shout out because Lynn
Bach pointed her out to me about two weeks before
the show started, and I had my eye on her.

Speaker 21 (23:41):
Who's you got to back up the one? She's a
big fan one? Okay, she's a big listener of this radio. Okay,
I know we love her, Lynn Baker.

Speaker 1 (23:57):
Okay the answer.

Speaker 5 (23:59):
Lynne reached out out to Riley on his Instagram and
messaged him about The Bachelor.

Speaker 1 (24:05):
She watches Lynn Box.

Speaker 4 (24:07):
Yes, who is a p one which means a big
listener listener radio show follows your son Riley at fourteen
years old, yeah.

Speaker 16 (24:15):
I died a lot of my fans, A lot of
my fans. Do I have like three hundred followers, you know,
you know, like where do they come from?

Speaker 19 (24:22):
Even from people at the school, and you know they're
all listeners.

Speaker 1 (24:24):
Okay, so now we're disc fan base.

Speaker 4 (24:29):
He says, I love this kid of yours, Hilaria, Riley.

Speaker 1 (24:34):
I wish you were my age. I would hang out
with you, like every single night.

Speaker 16 (24:39):
But okay, so Juliana Juliana, Yeah, so she originally pointed
to be honest to me.

Speaker 19 (24:44):
So I did research last.

Speaker 16 (24:45):
Night before the episode started, all about like who she
is and you know family, they're big Italians from Newton.
So she did well, Yeah, she did well.

Speaker 1 (24:56):
Now, Riley, I've got to ask you something.

Speaker 4 (24:58):
As an expert on The Bachelor, Juliana is described as
a client services associate.

Speaker 1 (25:05):
What exactly is that?

Speaker 19 (25:08):
You know?

Speaker 16 (25:08):
I'm confused. I don't know what industry she's in for service?

Speaker 19 (25:12):
But yeah, okay, yeah, but you.

Speaker 16 (25:15):
Like Alex so and then Alex actually got the first
impression roads but I do not think that's gonna last.

Speaker 19 (25:22):
I didn't think they had that good of a connection, to.

Speaker 13 (25:25):
Be honest, So why did he get it?

Speaker 19 (25:26):
To her, I have no idea. I feel like the
first impression roses nowadays are just less and less valuable.
They just like decrease in value as you know, you
go through the season.

Speaker 11 (25:38):
And then I saw.

Speaker 16 (25:39):
Latilla was good. I thought they had a very good connection.
I think she'll be in the final four, okay, And
so basically those are my those are my top two
right now.

Speaker 19 (25:50):
I'm also one more girl. I think her name is Zoe.
She's a model, or no, she's not a model. She's
in the tech industry. Oh that's a thing. That's the thing.

Speaker 1 (26:00):
That's a big one, the tech.

Speaker 19 (26:01):
She's in the tech industry.

Speaker 16 (26:02):
She's really smart.

Speaker 19 (26:04):
I thought they had a good connection too.

Speaker 1 (26:06):
Well.

Speaker 4 (26:06):
Riley, I gotta say, you have a tremendous track record
on this show when it comes to picking the winners
or the final two on the Bachelor. So you're saying
right now, the three that you're choosing are Zoe, Latilla,
and Juliana.

Speaker 19 (26:21):
Yeah.

Speaker 16 (26:21):
If I have to pick a winner right now, I'd
say Juliana.

Speaker 7 (26:24):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (26:24):
Okay. On the hometown girl, yeah, imagine the hometown gal
gets the guy.

Speaker 16 (26:29):
He's wasted no time in getting rid of him. He
got rid of seven last night.

Speaker 1 (26:32):
Whoa, really, we're down at eighteen seven early ejections?

Speaker 4 (26:37):
Well, they must have been really bad. Okay, Riley. Are
we gonna have Riley again next week after?

Speaker 2 (26:42):
I think we'll just sort of figure that out, right, Yeah,
you know.

Speaker 8 (26:47):
If people are talking about it, we're going to talk
about exactly exactly.

Speaker 1 (26:50):
Well, thank you very much, Riley.

Speaker 7 (26:52):
And yeah, you know, he goes inmation.

Speaker 19 (26:55):
I think it was a solid group of gals.

Speaker 8 (26:59):
All right, everyone's buzzing about the earthquake yesterday and what
were you doing?

Speaker 7 (27:03):
Where were you everything? Okay, we'll talk about it next week.

Speaker 10 (27:06):
Billy Alsa every morning, Happy Tuesday, amazing morning.

Speaker 4 (27:11):
Crew.

Speaker 10 (27:11):
I'm so glad we all survived the earthquake. And I
have just a couple of tips for you, because it
sounds like we could have more. So get on all
fours if you're in your house or in a building,
and climb under a table that's like the safest plate.
And if you're in a store, flip over a cart

(27:32):
and get under the cart on all floors.

Speaker 7 (27:35):
There's a theme here.

Speaker 1 (27:37):
I've done that all fours thing, and it wasn't even
an earthquake.

Speaker 3 (27:39):
It was you and that guy from the scene room, Bobby.

Speaker 18 (27:43):
I.

Speaker 4 (27:45):
There's one thing I got to say right before we
get into this about the earthquake. It was a legitimate earthquake.
We haven't seen a four point or or a four
point one, but yet on the news, everybody was like
making jokes about it, and it was kind of torn,
like should we be joking about it or is this
a serious situation?

Speaker 8 (28:05):
I think in twenty twenty five, the world is so
crazy you just joke about everything, okay, you know, right,
And here's the thing. Even we had Sarah from Maine
on Who and they said it wasn't even a big
deal people in Maine, right, Well, there was no one.

Speaker 6 (28:17):
Really hurting, no real damage, right, So I think it's
okay to make a joke about something that didn't.

Speaker 1 (28:21):
Really But I wonder is it a sign of things
to come?

Speaker 5 (28:24):
Well we saw some experts that we're in an area
of seismic activity, so it's gonna happen again.

Speaker 3 (28:28):
Well, we have to be realistic that the Earth is changing.
The Earth hates us because we've ruined it.

Speaker 1 (28:32):
So okay, there's.

Speaker 7 (28:34):
Doom and doctor Doomat, I'm sorry, thank you for you
know what.

Speaker 9 (28:37):
You gotta love Winny this morning, spreading joy and positivity
wherever she goes.

Speaker 6 (28:42):
It's knowing in Houston, and then California's on fire and
we have an earthquake.

Speaker 3 (28:47):
Is it not matching up with.

Speaker 4 (28:48):
I'm just saying, I don't know if it's a joke,
because I think it could be a sign of things
to come. That's just part of me. And then the
other party is like, wow, I wasn't that goofy because
I got a text. We were driving to the middle
of nowhere yesterday thanks to Winnie, and.

Speaker 2 (29:05):
Yeah, we were all in our cars, so we didn't
feel it.

Speaker 1 (29:08):
We didn't feel a thing.

Speaker 4 (29:09):
But I'm driving and I got a text from my
wife Michelle who said something's going on. The building is
shaking and the pictures rattling on the walls, and our
dog Titus and my wife Michelle were looking at each other,
what the hell's going on? So, yeah, a lot of
people didn't know what the hell.

Speaker 2 (29:28):
Yeah she was freaked out, Yeah, really freaked out.

Speaker 7 (29:31):
A lot of people were.

Speaker 8 (29:32):
I saw all of our social media people are posting
videos of the shaking. You know, But according to Billy,
it's not a joking matter.

Speaker 22 (29:39):
So rumor has it that the earthquake was caused by
Billy doing a booty call up in Maine.

Speaker 1 (29:45):
Okay, okay, what is wrong with you?

Speaker 7 (29:50):
You have a mandate on that. Okay from my home. Again,
it wasn't my voice. Well, you know what, we can't
convert you with a Millis he was. He was not
anywhere near Portland.

Speaker 3 (30:05):
He was with us.

Speaker 1 (30:06):
Yeah, actually we could say it.

Speaker 4 (30:08):
We're you know, we're doing local legends again on the
Billion Lias some morning show, and if you haven't heard
of that, we're finding people doing extraordinary things, going above
and beyond. And we really found someone yesterday, very special
in the beautiful town of Millice. Thanks to yesterday, I
had three firsts. I drove through Dover, I drove through Midfield,

(30:28):
and I met Millis.

Speaker 7 (30:31):
It's true one day.

Speaker 10 (30:33):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (30:34):
And by the way, nominations are open, wide open.

Speaker 8 (30:36):
Yeah, you can nominate somebody in your community, someone that's
doing amazing things. Kiss want to wait dot com slash nominate,
be detailed, why they deserve it, why they're a local legend.
You never know, the Billion Lisa show might show up
even if you're in Millis.

Speaker 1 (30:50):
We drive, yeah, it was so lovely drives.

Speaker 7 (30:54):
I mean, what's better than Millis maybe Portland. Yeah, what
are you going up there? For going up there?

Speaker 1 (31:00):
I guess I'm not going It's a good thing. I
have a TV shift. What's wrong with you? Do you
really want to mess around with that?

Speaker 4 (31:10):
Oh?

Speaker 12 (31:11):
You did?

Speaker 4 (31:16):
And she's got a funny line. Listen, it's time for
topic time. Okay, where were you? What were you doing
when the quake hit yesterday?

Speaker 1 (31:24):
Okay?

Speaker 4 (31:25):
Six one seven, nine, three one eight? And again justin
how do they get to your talkback?

Speaker 1 (31:31):
Mike?

Speaker 8 (31:31):
You know, I don't know what you're doing. Maybe you
are getting ready for work and you do have a
lot of time. You can record your message what you
want to say in your phone on the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 7 (31:39):
Just tap that little red microphone. It's easy.

Speaker 1 (31:41):
Topic time is next.

Speaker 12 (31:43):
Now it's topic time with the Billy and Lisa in
the morning.

Speaker 1 (31:48):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (31:49):
The topic is, well, we had an earthquake yesterday and
the question is where were you? What were you doing
when the quake was felt for Maine all the way
to Boston and beyond. And we've got Eric on the phone. Eric,
you're in York, Maine. Isn't that where it all began?

Speaker 11 (32:07):
Yeah?

Speaker 22 (32:08):
Yeah, actually it happened about eight miles off of York
in the in the ocean, luckily shallow water from what
I hear, I was in my kitchen working from home,
and the house started shaking, and I thought my boiler
in the house was gonna blow. That It was the noise.
That's the unique thing that comes along with it. They
talk about a tornado where it sounds like a freight

(32:29):
train is very loud. One person I talked to, one
of my neighbors says she thought a plow driver had
drove in her house, into her house. So there's a
loud noise that's accompanied with it, you know, a quick
shake and then kind of a panic on what the
hell happened and are we safe? Yeah, woke my wife
out of a dead sleep. She woke her, you know,

(32:50):
deep sleeper. Woke her right out of a dead sleep.
And one thing I do want to know is that
when my daughter came home from elementary school, she had
mentioned that the teachers had the kids get under the desk. So, oh, yeah,
I thought that was I thought that was very very
cool in a sense that you know, they thought that
they would thinking that quickly because actually it only happens
in a matter of five to ten seconds.

Speaker 4 (33:10):
Yeah, Eric, if you don't mind, can we get back
to your wife for a second. The quake hit at
about ten twenty five in the morning. I guess she's
a late sleeper.

Speaker 22 (33:22):
She's an emergency room nurse.

Speaker 2 (33:23):
Oh, okay, that makes sense.

Speaker 1 (33:26):
She can sleep as late as she wants.

Speaker 2 (33:28):
Makes sense.

Speaker 7 (33:29):
That's her overnight.

Speaker 1 (33:30):
Let's go to Leslie. She's on the coach. She's in
Portsmouth in New Hampshire. Good morning, Leslie, what are you doing?
What happened?

Speaker 7 (33:37):
What did you hear? What did you see?

Speaker 11 (33:39):
Well, this is wedding down Leslie. Steve the Pharmaci's friend.
I were downtown Portsmouth. Hey, I work in downtown Portsmouth
my real job. I'm the office administrator at a wealth
management firm and we're one.

Speaker 23 (33:51):
Block away from Portsmouth Harbor.

Speaker 11 (33:52):
And we sure felt it. As the previous caller said,
it was eight miles away in your carver, which in
earthquake distance is literally in our back are, So there
was no mistaking something happened. The entire building was moving,
not so much shaking as everyone's describing, but like a jolting,
a really violent jolting. And it happened twice. The second
time was like a few seconds later but less so,

(34:13):
but definitely two just stinct occurrences. So I immediately called
our building owner because we thought there had been an
explosion in the garage under our building. Wow, that a
big truck had hit or something. I looked out, I
didn't see anything. We have a four story building, brand
new that's mostly glass, and one of our investment guys
was driving to the office, so he didn't feel it.
My twin sister has been in a lot of California earthquakes,

(34:33):
excluding the big north Ridge one, so she said a
lot of times, if you're driving the car, you don't
feel it. So his wife called him and he was
walking into the building and all the other tenants were
running out.

Speaker 1 (34:42):
Wow.

Speaker 11 (34:42):
It never occurred to us to leave. We just stayed inside.
I don't know why. But then the city of Fortsmouth
called with a robo message that there had been an earthquake.
So I went in the kitchen to check all the cabins,
make sure nothing had you know, shifted and into plates
their glasses. Someone in Dover had posted at.

Speaker 23 (34:57):
Their house foundation crack.

Speaker 11 (34:58):
And you know, it's the weirdest thing when the one
thing you expect to stay in place? Is the earth
and that move?

Speaker 1 (35:04):
Yeah, well the earth moves under my skin, I think
was the line in the song.

Speaker 4 (35:09):
But let's go to Abby. She's in Mansfield. Abby, I'm
guessing you didn't feel the quake in Mansfield, did you?

Speaker 13 (35:16):
No?

Speaker 24 (35:16):
I felt it a little bit like I was resting
in between my overnight and going to school. I was
trying to sleep and I felt a little bit like
in bed. I was like, am I imagining things?

Speaker 17 (35:30):
Like?

Speaker 13 (35:31):
I definitely felt like it in bed.

Speaker 24 (35:33):
I was like, and I'm on this. I was like
in bed on the second story in my Kondo boy, Like,
I definitely felt something.

Speaker 10 (35:40):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (35:40):
I got a text from my wife Michelle, and the
first question I had to check the walls for cracks.

Speaker 1 (35:46):
Yeah, that's always one of the first things you look for.

Speaker 4 (35:49):
All right, thank you for going back out to Maine
York May and again it's where it all started, this
earthquake yesterday.

Speaker 1 (35:54):
Mike, Good morning, What did you see? What did you hear?

Speaker 23 (35:58):
Good morning, Red Mike. So, the Veterinary Hospital is three
miles from the Eppie Center. We came into the building
yesterday with no heat and it was forty four degrees
in the building, so we called out service for the
boiler and then I will agree with Eric. It was jolting.

Speaker 14 (36:16):
It was not like what you see in the movies
or what you know, the cameras that you see where
everything's shaking off. It was just like heavy, heavy jolts.
So when the jolt hit, we thought the boiler guys right,
So doctor Julian Matthews and I ran downstairs and were
like the kid looked at us like what. We're like,
are you okay? And they're like, yeah, yeah, I thought
you guys were just dragging something across the top of

(36:37):
the floor.

Speaker 1 (36:38):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (36:38):
What are the odds on the day you get a quake,
a very rare quake, you've got the boiler guy downstairs,
and immediately you're thinking, what the hell did he do
down there? Sir?

Speaker 23 (36:49):
The way he looked at us, He's like what, I
wanted to make sure you were okay?

Speaker 1 (36:54):
All right, Thanks for your service, by the way, and
thank you for the call.

Speaker 4 (36:57):
Let's go to a Selda Sheldon Sheldon in beautiful Duxbury, Massachusetts.

Speaker 1 (37:04):
Good morning, Where were you and what did you see?

Speaker 13 (37:09):
Hello?

Speaker 9 (37:11):
Oh hey, hi, it's Selden So I live behind a
historical house that I rent from. I live in a
small cottage and I live also next to the gentleman
who Lisa knows. We call him Chief. But my little
place is haunted. It's like known to be haunted. I've
had a couple of things happen, not anything epic, but

(37:31):
the house shook and I was like, oh my god,
and we called the ghost's name is Betsy's a long story,
but oh man, Bessy is really making herselfles So that
when my boyfriend texted me and said, did you know
that there was an earthkeke, I was like, oh, thank
god it wasn't Bessie, because I thought, you know, she's

(37:52):
starting now to shake my house to make sure I
know that she's still here. So I was actually relieved
an earthquake and not the ghost.

Speaker 4 (37:58):
Yeah, maybe Betsy wants back in. So you're in the
little house behind the big house and it's haunted.

Speaker 11 (38:05):
Right, yeah, And I didn't.

Speaker 9 (38:06):
The historical house is called the King Caesar House. It
is known to be haunted, but my little place haunted
as well, Like there's been everybody who's ever rented here
has a story.

Speaker 23 (38:16):
Of you know.

Speaker 9 (38:17):
It ranges from you know, music being turned off to
like I've heard almost like a book or whatever drop
above me hurt. But I thought the whole house shake.
I'm not even joking. I like turned off the sound
on the TV and thought, oh, geez, what's going on.

Speaker 1 (38:33):
She wants you out of that house. She wants you
out of that house.

Speaker 3 (38:36):
I wonder she gets a discount for being in a
haunted house.

Speaker 4 (38:39):
I don't They probably, Oh yeah, because she knew in advance.
It sounds and it was haunted. Some people like to
move into haunted houses. Earth was moving, buddy, I wasn't
move under your skin.

Speaker 1 (38:56):
You said, move under my skin?

Speaker 7 (38:58):
Does that make any sense to you?

Speaker 1 (38:59):
A cow about feet earth? Move under my feet?

Speaker 7 (39:02):
Does that make a little bit more sense?

Speaker 2 (39:04):
Philly is a melody guy.

Speaker 1 (39:07):
Melody guy.

Speaker 4 (39:08):
It's well known on this show. Okay, why does everybody
pick on me?

Speaker 3 (39:16):
You make it so easy for us? Right up?

Speaker 8 (39:21):
Yeah, So we heard from a lot of people that
felt the earthquake, but a lot of people didn't. We
didn't a lot of people.

Speaker 25 (39:27):
At I'm having serious fomo over this earthquake. I worked
in Gloucester and I didn't feel a thing. No one
in my office felt it. But yet I have a
friend that lives about five minutes down the road from
my office, and she posted on her Instagram how crazy
the earthquake was. Her whole house was shaking, but none
of us felt a thing.

Speaker 5 (39:47):
I wish someone could explain that to us, right, Yeah,
someone was five miles away or five minutes away.

Speaker 4 (39:52):
It's funny you say that, because a little bit later
this morning, we're going to have Eric Fisher, who is
the meteorologist over at Channel four here in Boston, and
he's going to explain it everything to us.

Speaker 7 (40:00):
I wonder if he felt it in his skin.

Speaker 23 (40:03):
You know.

Speaker 1 (40:03):
I got to tell you, you know what we have
out there. We have a lot of scab pickers. Okay, God,
I just.

Speaker 19 (40:15):
Feel left out. I didn't feel anything, and all my
friends were texting. Group chats from work were going off,
