Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hey guys, So welcome back. So everybody's talking about the

(00:02):
big quake yesterday. People felt it from Maine all the
way to the south Shore, and it wasn't a giant quake,
but it was felt by a lot of different people.
So we're checking in with our guy, Eric Fisher Fisher
Meteorologists over at WBZTV.

Speaker 2 (00:17):
Eric, good morning, Hey, Billy, Good morning to.

Speaker 1 (00:20):
You, first and foremost, Welcome to the Billy and Least
the Morning Show.

Speaker 3 (00:23):
Buddy.

Speaker 2 (00:25):
Hey, first time, first time for everything. It's been twelve years.
What took you so long?

Speaker 1 (00:31):
You know what? Eric, first time, but certainly not the
last time. That's the good news.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
Well, happy to talk with you. I'm most seismologists, but
I'll do my best to put on my station scientists
hat and we can talk about some shaking and rattling
that was going on yesterday.

Speaker 1 (00:45):
Okay, So Eric, what was that like four point zero
or something on the Richter scale this quake.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
So initially they came in, yeah, four point one, and
then they usually do some revisions and they get the
full data in. So it got revised down to a
three point eight, which is still a pretty good size
for us here. And it's the moment scale now belly,
so we don't use the Richter scale anymore. It's very similar.
The numbers are very similar as well, but most people
still call it the Richter scale even though it's a
little bit so.

Speaker 1 (01:12):
Did the Richter scale get in trouble?

Speaker 2 (01:15):
I guess it got canceled. I don't know. I'm not
sure what happens to it. I've forget the full story,
but it's not something that we use anymore.

Speaker 1 (01:21):
So Eric answered this question. If it wasn't a big quake,
how was it felt so far away?

Speaker 2 (01:28):
So it's kind of interesting. It's a weird thing about
basically our ground versus Western ground. So if anyone's listening
and they live in say California for a while, and
you're familiar with their earthquakes, but they're usually not felt
all throughout California. When they have one, it's usually very local.

Speaker 4 (01:43):
Here.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
We're old, our houses are older, our grounds older. Our
bedrock is actually a few hundred million years older than
what they have out west. If you think about the
geological time of everything, when plates were crashing together and
the Appalachians went up and all that, our rock is
much more older. It's also much deeper that kind of
changes the way seismic waves can travel through the ground.

(02:05):
So here when there's something that's just a three point eight,
which they wouldn't NOTICEARI far away at all in California.
We had reports in Connecticut and New Hampshire, even though
the epicenter of this was just offshore outside of New
Hampshire and Maine. So the waves can travel a little
bit differently. It's kind of like sound. Sound travels different
through the air versus the water, versus different mediums. In

(02:26):
our ground is just a little bit different than what
they had out west.

Speaker 1 (02:29):
Eric, I got to tell you something. You may not
be a seismologist, but you certainly sound like one. I
would just tell everybody you are.

Speaker 2 (02:38):
I did stay at a holiday in expressly.

Speaker 5 (02:40):
So let's about that.

Speaker 1 (02:41):
You know what, from now on, when we have you on,
we're going to say our own seismologist, Eric Fisher.

Speaker 6 (02:46):
Sounds great. So, Eric, I have a question, why would
that mean that That's why maybe somebody who lived like
a block away from somebody else they felt it, but
then somebody else didn't.

Speaker 2 (02:57):
I don't think that's the same reason. But you know,
I'm not sure about that about why some people have
such a sharp I heard this sound and I felt
that it. I felt that the whole house was collapsing,
and other people like, what are you talking about? I personally,
I didn't feel it either. I was in Boston at
the time. I felt nothing. My wife felt nothing. And
I heard people saying that they were in office buildings
and they felt the whole building's way. So I don't

(03:19):
know if it's just what you're paying attention to at
the time where you are. Is it quiet? Is it loud?
But not everyone felt it equally, that's for sure.

Speaker 1 (03:27):
Funny. That was going to be my next question. Did
you actually feel the quake?

Speaker 3 (03:31):
Eric?

Speaker 1 (03:31):
But you did not? Let me ask you this, Eric, Okay,
I'm wondering. Is this a sign of things to come?

Speaker 3 (03:39):
You know?

Speaker 1 (03:40):
I mean, that's it. This is the way I think.
This is just the beginning.

Speaker 2 (03:44):
We love doom, don't we. We love a good doom story. Yeah,
what's gonna what's gonna come next? Is the end? No,
it's probably not the beginning of something. We actually have
quite a few earthquakes in England. They're usually very small,
so most people usually do not notice them, do not
feel them. Someone asked the other day you know, just

(04:07):
the first earthquake in Maine. I'm like, well, no, mains
had hundreds of earthquakes since when I'm like a couple
one hundred million years, give or take. There's always a
little bit of shaking and moving going on when it
comes to the earth. We have a big fault line here,
like you know San Andreas faults, which people think about
out west, But we have lots of little, small faults
that are in the ground here and they do produce earthquakes.

(04:30):
This one actually happens right next to the site of
the most famous one, which I don't remember and you
probably don't remember, but it was in seventeen fifty five,
the Cape and earthquake.

Speaker 1 (04:40):
Was actually here for that.

Speaker 2 (04:43):
Let's say you've been around for a couple of years, right, Eric,
Since this was a big one and that produced a
lot of damage, and it was about a magnitude six.
Since the scale is logarithmic, a six isn't a little
bigger than a four. It's a lot bigger than a four,
and it releases about a thousand times more energy. So
those earthquakes are possible here.

Speaker 1 (05:03):
God, Eric, you sounds so much smarter than I am.
That's it's amazing. But since we have you, Eric, can
we get the forecast? What's it going to do for
the next couple of days.

Speaker 2 (05:13):
That's gonna cost double I'm sorry.

Speaker 1 (05:15):
When you put this on the tab.

Speaker 2 (05:19):
Forecast. We're up and down this week. We're a little
all over ye, a little snow coming tomorrow night. We're
gonna be talking about maybe a couple of inches coming
through before tomorrow morning. That it's going to jump up
into the forties, so some of that will melt. We've
got some cold on Thursday, We've got some rain on Friday.
So we're gonna be up and down and all over
the place this week.

Speaker 1 (05:35):
All right, you've been listening to Eric Fisher, seismologists meteorologist
at WBZTV four in Boston.

Speaker 3 (05:42):
Thank you, Eric, hope to talk again soon.

Speaker 1 (05:47):
He's great, Yeah, very smart.

Speaker 2 (05:49):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (05:49):
All right.

Speaker 8 (05:50):
We have stories next, and actually a good story coming
out of California and those wildfires.

Speaker 3 (05:54):
Let's make it feel good on a Tuesday.

Speaker 6 (05:56):
Good Morning, kids with a Billy and Lee's weird stories.
All right, we actually have a heartfelt story coming out
of the wildfires in California. A couple we're sifting through
the rubble when Brian found the engagement ring he recently
bought for his girlfriend, and he proposed right on the spot.

Speaker 9 (06:16):
I was thinking, you know, well, maybe the stone should
survive and maybe we'll find the little stone. I was like,
we're gonna look over here where my desk is. I
did not tell her why we're digging around where my
desk is. Where you can see that the desk frame,
and then you pick it up and you pick up
the thing and there's a little there's a little diamond.
And I was on my knees and I was like, hey,
will you marry and uh and I'm in you know,

(06:38):
I'm in complete ppe zipped up with the white hood
and everything.

Speaker 5 (06:42):
I'm crying.

Speaker 9 (06:43):
Yeah, we're really hoping that Los Angeles can support Altadena
in his rebuild efforts for the next couple of years
and that we're able to return.

Speaker 1 (06:50):
It's gonna be people so hard.

Speaker 6 (06:53):
But what a great story. They found the ring?

Speaker 5 (06:55):
Yeah attacked, I know.

Speaker 1 (06:58):
God, So how about this. It's a deputy in Florida
accused of trying to smuggle drugs onto a cruise ship.
Now he was trying to smuggle the drugs in Skittles
bags and apparently this cruise ship was part of a
four day long music festival. And this is some of
the sound from his initial court hearings.

Speaker 10 (07:17):
Melo, you were arrested for trafficking in ecstasy or MDMA.

Speaker 11 (07:22):
Trying to smuggle MDMA in skittles bags onto a cruise ship.

Speaker 3 (07:28):
Yeah, he was trying to get the party going on
that cruise ship. God. Well, I remember my rave days,
the early you know, early two thousands raves. It's crazy.

Speaker 1 (07:39):
You just go all night into morning, all.

Speaker 3 (07:42):
For days and days and days, just hopping around.

Speaker 8 (07:45):
Yeah, and these like warehouses that were abandoned, and you
have to know someone who knows someone.

Speaker 3 (07:50):
Yeah, but you know, now he's arrested, So how much
fun is he having now? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (07:54):
Winnie, what have you got here?

Speaker 12 (07:55):
Okay, So a twenty five year old guy in Texas
could face child engagement chargers.

Speaker 5 (07:59):
After sure, he did a TikTok.

Speaker 12 (08:01):
Video of him using a three month old baby like
a snowbrush to clean off his windshield.

Speaker 3 (08:08):
It's another TikTok thing, another social media thing.

Speaker 13 (08:12):
We've confirmed it. It was a three month old baby. It's
a sad situation.

Speaker 3 (08:15):
You know.

Speaker 13 (08:16):
I know a lot of people go to social media
and they're looking for clicks, but it's not. It's not
a deal where you should put a baby on a windshield.

Speaker 1 (08:26):
There's a jail cell waiting for that person.

Speaker 3 (08:29):
What happened to common sense?

Speaker 1 (08:30):
I know, really do just for a TikTok video.

Speaker 5 (08:34):
Three months I could see three years old baby.

Speaker 3 (08:37):
Oh yeah, when my son Abel was three, I'd wipe.

Speaker 5 (08:39):
The storm, you know what I mean?

Speaker 1 (08:40):
But three months ridiculous.

Speaker 5 (08:42):
I came up really.

Speaker 3 (08:49):
All right. So a new study just came out on
band teas. You know the band tees.

Speaker 1 (08:53):
Yeah, well yeah.

Speaker 8 (08:54):
Yeah, So a new study came out and they figured
out what what band has the highest resell value for
their shirts?

Speaker 3 (09:01):
And it's kind of surprising. I'll give you the top
five here. So number five is Guns and Roses. They
have that iconic logo from their first album. Number four
Outcast surprising group. Number three is really surprising to me.
Earth Wind and Fire. Remember I don't think I've ever

(09:24):
seen one.

Speaker 6 (09:24):
I think that's why they're on the list because they're
probably really rare.

Speaker 8 (09:28):
Right, yes, good point, good point, I've never seen one.
Number two the Red Hot Chili Peppers. I love the
Chili Peppers. And number one can anybody guess it.

Speaker 1 (09:43):
Eagles.

Speaker 8 (09:44):
The Eagles are not anywhere else. No, no, you got
to think nineties sinc. Did you just say in sync?

Speaker 14 (09:55):
No?

Speaker 1 (09:56):
Who's walking around?

Speaker 3 (10:00):
They do have those T shirt but these are like,
do you.

Speaker 5 (10:02):
Guys remember when I went through a band T shirt?

Speaker 1 (10:05):
Cold Play?

Speaker 3 (10:07):
No, No, Nirvana, dude, And it's usually the cover of
their first album or their biggest album there with the
baby floating in the pool.

Speaker 1 (10:20):
One.

Speaker 8 (10:20):
Yeah, that kid actually sued the band. I remember that,
yeah yeah, because the original cover they show his wi
wi and he says that he was only a baby
and couldn't.

Speaker 1 (10:29):
Approve of it, but his parents must.

Speaker 3 (10:32):
Have somebody must have signed off on it. So wait.

Speaker 8 (10:35):
The Nirvana te resells for two hundred and seventy nine dollars.
The Earth, Wind and Fire tea if you're so lucky
to get one resales for two hundred and thirty five dollars.

Speaker 5 (10:46):
I would love one.

Speaker 6 (10:47):
Yeah, me too, love one.

Speaker 3 (10:49):
I think Lisa is right though, I think it's very
rare to get one.

Speaker 6 (10:52):
I've never seen one.

Speaker 1 (10:53):
Yeah me either.

Speaker 8 (10:54):
Oh wait, I just see number two hundred and sixty
seven on the list in sink.

Speaker 1 (11:01):
You said ninety It would be really embarrassing Timberlake with
the Frosted I definitely had one.

Speaker 5 (11:08):
I have one in my house.

Speaker 3 (11:10):
Yeah, I've seen you wear one.

Speaker 1 (11:11):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (11:11):
Sure.

Speaker 1 (11:12):
Anyway, we're coming up on the entertainment. A couple of
things we're going to be talking about. Uh, Well, we
get the Grammys Sunday night. We've got the lineup people
who are going to be performing.

Speaker 15 (11:22):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (11:22):
The new season of The Bachelor kicked off last night.
Local gal I call her gal because that's what Riley
Dunovan calls them, A colossal group of gals.

Speaker 14 (11:33):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (11:33):
And she's from Newton, Massachusetts. So a lot to talk
about that's coming up next. Stand by, what's up Boston?
I'm Justin Bieber.

Speaker 16 (11:39):
Let's turn this party right now, and we're back with
Billy and Lisa in the morning.

Speaker 1 (11:44):
Justin Bieber says, let's turn up this party. We've got
to turn up this party. Justin give me a quick
talk back, let's go. Good morning, guys.

Speaker 17 (11:50):
I might have missed it, but did Billy talk about
the Diddy documentary?

Speaker 1 (11:54):
Yes? Not only did I talk about it, but we
will talk about it in this entertainment report right now.

Speaker 6 (12:01):
The Entertainment Update with a Billy constat.

Speaker 1 (12:04):
But first, this the Fire Aid Concert to benefit victims
of the California wildfires. Don't forget. Is this coming Thursday night.
They've got two separate venues. The list of artists is incredible,
everybody from Billie Eilish to Gracie Abrams, Jelly Roller, Katy Perry,
Olivia Rodrigo, Lady Gaga, and again we're going to be
broadcasting it live on Kiss in fact on all of

(12:26):
our iHeart stations, like nine hundred stations.

Speaker 6 (12:28):
I will definitely be listening, and I hope this is
a reminder that this is still an active situation because
it's kind of out of the news cycle a little bit,
and that these people are really suffering.

Speaker 1 (12:38):
Oh yeah, and then they got floods, great floods and
landslides and mudslides. Yeah, oh my god. What else are
they going to throw at the people in California? Anyway,
that's this coming Thursday night. I mentioned Lady Gaga. We
now have a date on the release of her new album.
It's going to be out March seventh, and it will
include the song Disease, which we've been playing, as well

(12:59):
as her collaboration with Bruno Mars, which we have been
playing and it'll feature a new song that's going to debut.
Check this out during a commercial at the Grammy Awards
this coming Sunday night. Big. It's a big week in music,
Big week in music. And just confirmed Beyonce and Taylor
Swift will both be at the Grammy Awards Sunday night.

(13:19):
I'm not saying they're going to perform, we don't know
that yet, but they will definitely be there. And the
new season of The Bachelor started on the ABC last night.
Grant is the New Bachelor. And there's a woman, a
contestant on the show right.

Speaker 6 (13:34):
Les from exactly and that's why we like this season.
She's from Newton, Juliana and my son Riley called in
this morning and she is one of his faves.

Speaker 1 (13:42):
Now, which of the contestants showed up last night with
a live lama.

Speaker 6 (13:45):
Her name is Alex. She's from Canada, but yeah, she
is a pet lama name Linda.

Speaker 1 (13:50):
I think we have a clip here from the arrival.

Speaker 6 (13:52):
So my name is Alex.

Speaker 1 (13:54):
I am French Canadian, Okay.

Speaker 4 (13:56):
And I grew up in a small town on a farm,
Okay and are known to be some of the friendliest
people in the world.

Speaker 1 (14:05):
So I thought, why not introduce you to my no
druma lomma. You can't ride along the right along, I
think you can.

Speaker 18 (14:15):
So.

Speaker 19 (14:15):
Her name is Linda, very sweet.

Speaker 1 (14:18):
Okay, second, what's that Linda? Yeah, I know can keep
his cute.

Speaker 6 (14:23):
I know.

Speaker 5 (14:27):
Sorry, I'm so sorry about that.

Speaker 1 (14:28):
Okay, come on, you can't see with him?

Speaker 3 (14:30):
No, not yourself?

Speaker 14 (14:31):
Okay, yeah.

Speaker 1 (14:33):
I don't think Grant gets out much.

Speaker 6 (14:35):
He thought it was a donkey he did at one point. Yeah,
all right, if someone asked if they could ride it.

Speaker 5 (14:40):
To him or the doctor.

Speaker 20 (14:44):
The same question.

Speaker 1 (14:49):
Yeah, Well, I think they're all looking at right. That's
why they're there.

Speaker 5 (14:52):
That's why they're there. He's one time, he's the man.

Speaker 1 (14:57):
We had Lisa's son, Riley E, to quote him. He said,
it's a great group of gals.

Speaker 2 (15:02):
This time around, I think it was a solid group
of gals.

Speaker 3 (15:06):
Thanks Riley.

Speaker 1 (15:08):
You know, that's an interesting story on this show that
Riley Dunovan, all of fourteen years old, Lisa Dunovan's son
is our correspondent on the Bachelor franchise.

Speaker 6 (15:18):
And I have to point out he's been our correspondent
since he was ten.

Speaker 1 (15:22):
Yes, oh yeah, oh my god.

Speaker 6 (15:23):
Yes he does goes way back.

Speaker 3 (15:26):
Well, he delivers every time.

Speaker 5 (15:28):
Oh, he's into it.

Speaker 3 (15:29):
He's really into it. He's funny, he's engaging.

Speaker 1 (15:32):
And he gave us his pick so far, his top
three picks. I think Juliana from Massachusetts is his favorite
to win, right.

Speaker 6 (15:39):
To tell you. In past seasons he's been spot on.

Speaker 1 (15:43):
Yeah, yes, well, didn't we see someone else this morning
that's picking Juliana.

Speaker 5 (15:47):
There is a spoiler guy.

Speaker 12 (15:49):
I'm not going to say who it is, but he's
always pretty spot on, and it's it's a reality Steeve,
the guy that like reportes everything for.

Speaker 1 (15:56):
Everybody, and he's going with Juliana and the first rather
for the new season.

Speaker 14 (16:01):
I can't wait.

Speaker 1 (16:01):
We can't wait for the White Lotus finally dropping yesterday.
We've got a clip right here.

Speaker 6 (16:07):
Everyone tells me what a great man you are.

Speaker 13 (16:10):
If we lost everything.

Speaker 6 (16:12):
Honestly, I don't eive I want to move.

Speaker 1 (16:14):
I just don't have it in me. I'm still the
same people we were in the tenth grade.

Speaker 8 (16:18):
They're always disappointed and you're always faith and you're vain
and selfish.

Speaker 1 (16:24):
Yeah, it's on Max and it's coming out February sixteenth.
I think we all watched The White Lotus.

Speaker 6 (16:29):
I love it.

Speaker 1 (16:30):
I've rewatched season one, and I guess only one of
the original characters is back for this season, which is
season three. Also on Max the Fall of Didty, we
had a talkbacker asking justin if we talked about the
Diddy docu series, which started last night. The first two
episodes dropped at nine o'clock last night. The final two,

(16:50):
by the way, will drop tonight. And last night, a
former makeup artist talked about being there when Diddy allegedly
attacked his girlfriend Cat.

Speaker 4 (17:00):
I'm packing her stuff up once he leaves. I see
the aftermath on Cassie. He has knots on her head,
bruised eye, busted lip. It was horrific, and so all
I can think of was we need to get back
to my house. You need to get them out of here.
Oh boy, we can't call the police. We can't go

(17:21):
to the hospital. We're scared of Puff. We're always scared
of him. If we call the police, what would happen.
He's a very powerful person in the business, and he
can do things that will make you go away.

Speaker 1 (17:39):
Yeah, and the story goes, he would threaten everybody, right,
he could ruin your career, and I think it was
Cassie that got the investigation going.

Speaker 14 (17:47):
Right.

Speaker 12 (17:47):
Well, I mean it's very well known in Hollywood that
everyone thinks he has something to do with like Chupac
and like business dads.

Speaker 5 (17:53):
So you probably were legitimately scared of him if.

Speaker 8 (17:56):
He blew up Kid Cutty's car. Yeah, that's confirmed.

Speaker 12 (17:59):
Yeah, Yeah, he's a PIOH bad boy for life at
the next level, not even bad boy like.

Speaker 8 (18:05):
Yeah, I think everybody knew it, but everybody lived in
fear of retaliation, and now everyone can speak out.

Speaker 1 (18:11):
This next series I'm going to talk about I may
hate watch it list. I think you said the same
thing this morning, you hate watching. Yeah, the Baldwins have
a new reality show called Well the Baldwins, Boy, that's creative.
It comes out on TLC February twenty third, and the
first trailer is out.

Speaker 19 (18:31):
We have a cliss had bad moments, but we found
our foundation. She says, you should look like them.

Speaker 15 (18:41):
We're solid and we're here.

Speaker 1 (18:42):
Together and nobody knows. The Baldwins and Hilaria like Amy Schumer.

Speaker 18 (18:48):
They have a Von Trapp amount of children, and and
they named them all. I'm not sure, but very Spanish
names like hormone and croketa and flamenco, you know, and
all of this would be fine and beautiful except that

(19:10):
Ilaria Frontispania is actually Hilary from Boston. This woman is
in no way Spanish. Her parents are not from Spain.

(19:32):
No one in her life is from Spain.

Speaker 1 (19:34):
So here's my point.

Speaker 5 (19:35):
Okay, I actually have a point.

Speaker 3 (19:37):
Okay.

Speaker 18 (19:38):
My point is that all evidence points to this woman
since she met her husband has straight up pretended to
be from Spain, and her husband shot someone. Now, stay
with me, stay with me. My point is neither of
them give up.

Speaker 1 (20:01):
Yeah TLC the balls Ones, Yeah, I might hate watch
it too.

Speaker 6 (20:06):
Yeah, they have a lot of kids, seven.

Speaker 3 (20:09):
Seven and he's sixty six years old.

Speaker 5 (20:11):
Are they done?

Speaker 3 (20:12):
You think I don't know?

Speaker 1 (20:14):
You never know. It's Alec and Laria.

Speaker 6 (20:17):
Hillary, It's Hillary Ladia.

Speaker 1 (20:23):
She really is Boston and his.

Speaker 6 (20:26):
Well, sometimes she speaks with the Spanish accent, and then
sometimes she doesn't speak with the Spanish.

Speaker 1 (20:31):
She's not Spanish, No.

Speaker 6 (20:32):
Not at all. Your parents just were in Spain for
a while and she would go visit them.

Speaker 5 (20:38):
You got to give it to her. She's committed to this.

Speaker 1 (20:40):
Oh yeah, she's not giving it up.

Speaker 12 (20:44):
She believes it and all that, and she still commits
that she doesn't know English work.

Speaker 5 (20:47):
What's the English word for like cucumber or whatever.

Speaker 1 (20:50):
I'm like, I'm like, what, uh, Lisa. You had author
Ellen Hildebrand in your book club series.

Speaker 6 (20:57):
Yes, we had her twice, most recently for Swan Song.
But good news, her book five Star Weekend got picked
up by Keith Peacock and Jennifer Gardner is starring as
Hollis Shaw, the lead character.

Speaker 3 (21:10):
Wow.

Speaker 6 (21:11):
So excited for Ellen Hildebrand.

Speaker 1 (21:12):
Now is there a connection to The Perfect Couple too?

Speaker 6 (21:15):
No, these are well if they're all based on Nantucket.

Speaker 1 (21:18):
We're going back to Nantucker and Hollis Shaw is.

Speaker 6 (21:20):
Like a food influencer. That's her character.

Speaker 14 (21:23):
Okay.

Speaker 6 (21:23):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (21:24):
Teddy Swims this week says he had a gender review
at one of our jingle ball.

Speaker 16 (21:29):
It was actually at a jingle ball, believe it or not.
She came to meet me. I think it was. I
can't remember what city we were in, but it was
at a jingle ball. She she came to meet me
and we just did it with the crew backstage, you know,
because she had found out. And then we came so
we did like a tiny little thing with our crew,
and Hill got.

Speaker 14 (21:47):
A jingle ball which is really cute.

Speaker 16 (21:49):
I got, I gotta, I gotta tell my sweet Mega
train or two and Darryll like.

Speaker 1 (21:56):
Teddy Swims album came out last Friday, and I want
to mark this down in your calendar. I saw this
Yesterda and I couldn't believe it. Now Cynthia Orrivo is
one of the biggest stars on the planet right now
from the movie Wicked.

Speaker 6 (22:07):
She's coming to the Hasty Pudding.

Speaker 1 (22:09):
She's the Woman of the Year the Hasty Putting Awards,
and it's also going to be with the Boston Pops.
They've got a huge lineup coming in the spring. Imagine
Cynthia Rivo. What a voice on stage with your Boston Pops.
She's going to be there May eighth.

Speaker 6 (22:25):
Incredible.

Speaker 1 (22:26):

Speaker 3 (22:51):
All right, let's do a comparison here. Hilaria in her normal.

Speaker 19 (22:55):
Voice, my husband is suffering from PTSD right now.

Speaker 6 (22:58):
It's something that not just from what happened recently.

Speaker 19 (23:01):
And then Hilaria in her accent, I want you guys
to realize that we have seven kids and you being
here to escort them to school and to be there
one and.

Speaker 3 (23:13):
She switches it up a little bit.

Speaker 5 (23:15):
Still basically sounds the same to me, he.

Speaker 3 (23:18):
Adds the accent.

Speaker 6 (23:19):
It does.

Speaker 1 (23:20):
Yeah, it's like Brittany, She's somebody different every day.

Speaker 3 (23:22):
Yeah, you know. All right, Well we'll hate watch it.

Speaker 14 (23:24):
Why not?

Speaker 6 (23:25):
From the Planet Fitness Kids One Away Studios, We're back
with Billy and Lisa in the Morning on Yeah, We're back.

Speaker 1 (23:33):
This is this is so cool. First of all, Marco,
welcome to the Billy and Lisa Show. Good to see
your buddy.

Speaker 14 (23:38):
Well, good to see you too. You guys, it's been
called for a while.

Speaker 1 (23:42):
It's been quite a while, so Marco is a big
time actor. We're going to go through a let you
just finished your project with Robert de Niro. We're going
to talk about all that. But when I first met Marco,
he was the bartender at the Salem Waterfront Hotel in
the pub, right, Marco.

Speaker 14 (23:57):
Yeah, making you good, Cosmo.

Speaker 1 (24:00):
I got to tell you something. I haven't had a
Cosmo as good of yours, as good as yours since
the last time I saw you. But yeah, even back then,
I'd be sitting there having a drink and we'd be talking,
and you were already into the whole acting scene, the
whole acting world. And we'll get to the de Niro thing.
Which when is the new de Niro movie open.

Speaker 14 (24:21):
It's open February twenty.

Speaker 1 (24:23):
Okay, and it's called Zero Day, Zero Day. Yeah. I
just saw a trailer for that a couple of days ago.
Let's go right there. So that's the most recent thing
you did. You were in a scene with de Niro.

Speaker 11 (24:35):
Well, not particularly DeNiro, but there was a few of us.
One of them is Jesse.

Speaker 1 (24:40):
Levits, okay, and Angela Bassett is in this movie. To
the trailer looks good.

Speaker 11 (24:45):
There's so many great casts. I mean, Angela, Vessa, Georgia, Gruffy.
I mean, you could like name me all of it.

Speaker 1 (24:54):
Well, we were just talking outside the studio before we
went on. Lisa and I with you, and you were
telling us for some of the these roles, because you know,
you've been in billions, You've been in a bunch of shows,
The Night Age, the Majors. But for some of these roles,
there are like over twenty thousand people that will audition
for the role you're looking to get.

Speaker 11 (25:12):
Right, I mean, it's a fusty how this business is that,
I don't know. I would say every year, every month,
it's something different, so you get to be on the top.

Speaker 14 (25:25):
Of your game.

Speaker 1 (25:26):
Yeah have you Have you ever been killed in a movie?

Speaker 14 (25:29):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (25:30):
Oh, so I'm fascinated with death saying death scenes.

Speaker 11 (25:33):
So you can see the trailer my YouTube. It's a
collide order or give me his crib the season.

Speaker 1 (25:40):
Yeah, okay, so how are you killed?

Speaker 11 (25:42):
So I will play one of the Russian special ops.
We kind of attacking village so that all my soldiers
get it dead. So I killed half of the last
I fell.

Speaker 1 (25:53):
So you killed half of them and then they chuck
you out.

Speaker 14 (25:55):
Yeah, there you go.

Speaker 6 (25:56):
Well, we were talking to you off here. I found
it interesting that I would think you would do live auditions.
You say, that doesn't work anywhere that you have to
like send in like a thirty second or minute like
video audio thing.

Speaker 11 (26:06):
Yeah, this is no new way of the Everybody does
auditions and it's all about self tape.

Speaker 14 (26:13):
And you get a project, you get.

Speaker 11 (26:15):
Two different seeds, so you got to put two different
looks and you keep your figure gross.

Speaker 1 (26:23):
But you were saying with this new project with Robert
de Niro that he will personally look at like a
thousand or several thousand auditions himself.

Speaker 11 (26:33):
I talk to director Guiltmut she's the director of the
Homeland Secure Homeland. Yeah, everybody the show Homeland, Okay. So
she's a, oh, you're talking to the director, okay, And
she says the mister Dubid and mister Obrahim, who is
one of the executive in producers together with the Robert
de Niro, they themself looking for the show.

Speaker 1 (26:53):
For every single video to make sure they get the
right person.

Speaker 11 (26:57):
I don't know, like it says, I was shocked because
I saw there's only how do you forty of us?

Speaker 14 (27:01):
It's a tv BD series. It's kind of epic, just
like we'll take we'll take you off the chair.

Speaker 1 (27:07):
Wo Well, you know, to look at you Marco, and
again we've known each other for years. You're you're you're
a very menacing looking character, like you know what I mean,
like just punch my face off in five seconds at
a bar. So I'm not surprised you. You play a
lot of bodyguard type of roles in that.

Speaker 11 (27:26):
I mean, I don't know, it's been kind of well
maybe I would say tap cast like a police officer,
sea agent, all kinds of different military guy, mafia guy, whatever.
But like I says, I've trying to get a break
every single way, I kind of taking my career to
another levels. I always work with a character and everything else.

Speaker 1 (27:46):
So now you were telling me on this de Nero movie,
the set you were on a giant yacht in New
York City. I'm guessing Dark on the Hudson or something. Yeah,
that would be my first paycheck I spent. Oh yeah,
I'm sure it's not cheap to be on a two
hundred foot yard. It's I mean, it's the act, it's
all customer. I mean, there's a full levels. I mean

(28:09):
just a study. I mean there was a believe in
Marina twenty five. Yeah, so when you were around de Niro,
you didn't mention Donald Trump. I'm guessing because he's not
a big fan unfortunately, need.

Speaker 14 (28:21):
To see it.

Speaker 11 (28:22):
It was a second second year now I'm totally different
than way they should. But nobody talk about that kind
of stuff.

Speaker 1 (28:28):
So what's your next project? What are you working on
right now?

Speaker 11 (28:30):
So right now I'm kind of waiting to see what's
going to happen.

Speaker 14 (28:34):
I think that our industry is very much suffering now.

Speaker 1 (28:37):
Yeah, the Los Angeles fires must be taking a Yeah, so.

Speaker 11 (28:41):
That took it probably a lot of work now, and
I think New York has become now another kind of
like almost waking up, right, So people try to organize themselves,
see where the project's going to go. I think it's
all about budget too. I mean you can imagine. I
think the Los Angeles is now a billion dollar damages

(29:02):
something like, Yeah, it's ridiculous devastation. And you're saying they're
taking a lot of movies now overseas. Yes, yes, that's
that's been now kind of a big, big thing.

Speaker 1 (29:13):
So we'll see what We'll see what it takes.

Speaker 11 (29:14):
I mean, like again, agent, we talk about this so fairly.
They already signed up season three. They start show to get.

Speaker 6 (29:20):
Eastable you're in season two, right, yes.

Speaker 1 (29:23):
Season two of The Night Age.

Speaker 2 (29:25):
Yeah.

Speaker 14 (29:25):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (29:26):
And you're also in one of the seasons of Billions.

Speaker 11 (29:29):
Yeah, I mean Billions, House of Cards, Billions that show.

Speaker 1 (29:33):
I would watch that again. House of Cards.

Speaker 11 (29:36):
You remember when I tell you when I'm coming from party,
Ruby Wright saying to you, and I've read your hat.

Speaker 14 (29:40):
Do you remember, Dad?

Speaker 1 (29:41):
You brought me a hat from the set of a
House of Cards, a message from the message from Robin Wright.
Are you kidding me?

Speaker 14 (29:48):
Now?

Speaker 1 (29:48):
You're from Croatia, right, Martin?

Speaker 4 (29:51):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (29:51):
Did you say off the air that you I don't
want to get too personal, but did you say you
one hundred already acres in Croatia?

Speaker 2 (30:01):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (30:02):
Yeah, just see when his head pop up.

Speaker 6 (30:04):
All Now it's a family right, it's a family Yeah,
it's a.

Speaker 1 (30:08):
Family state, a family estate in Croatia. I'm told Croatia
is one of the most beautiful places in the world.

Speaker 11 (30:13):
I mean, listen, we have a whole country about we devastate.
We talk about thirty years back with the with the
major civil war.

Speaker 14 (30:21):
This in the country.

Speaker 11 (30:22):
We talk about countries for and a half million people
in Central part Europe, Like if you travel to Austria,
if you've been. It's like a one hour from Austria
hour forty minutes for minutes.

Speaker 3 (30:32):
It's kind of.

Speaker 11 (30:32):
Basically Central cut central part of the country, which is
connected to Adriatic Sea is a beautiful I'm told, some.

Speaker 1 (30:38):
Of the most beautiful beaches in the world. And we
got to I think your son.

Speaker 6 (30:42):
Your son went.

Speaker 1 (30:43):
My son went for yachting week. Have you ever done
yachting week in Croatia. I'm not that wealthy, but you
don't have to be wealthy. You just swim around and
hop on people's yachts. My son told me it was awesome.

Speaker 14 (30:55):
I'll take advice from you.

Speaker 1 (30:57):
Are you still making a good Cosmo anytime? All right?
You gotta get together for a drink, so absolutely, Marcos.
So we're looking forward to the new Robert De Niro
movie called Zero.

Speaker 6 (31:05):
Day and The Night Agent.

Speaker 11 (31:06):
Yes TV it's a tv BD city of six episodes
of limited It's like it's going to be appic. I
keep your big guys put to the toes.

feature Australia, Buddy.

Speaker 17 (31:51):
Down Under, Good Morning Morning Team, this is Jamie checking
in from Australia. Again. I just wanted to let you
know that I am in. I wasn't tazzy, but now
I am in Western Australia and I was listening to
the radio earlier and they were discussing Mel Robbins. So
even all the way over here in Australia, she's becoming
ridiculously popular. I think it's amazing and I'm so happy

(32:13):
I heard about Mel Robins from You have a.

Speaker 1 (32:16):
Great Day, Imagine Athletes.

Speaker 6 (32:18):
This is incredible, absolutely incredible. I think on the stream.
We listed the countries in Australia was one of the countries, Pakistan, India,
like everywhere.

Speaker 1 (32:27):
Yeah, because she's launched a tour, right.

Speaker 6 (32:29):
Yeah, five cities. Boston is one of them, but we
you know, we had her first.

Speaker 3 (32:34):
Yeah, that's where I heard about it first.

Speaker 1 (32:36):
Yeah, me too.

Speaker 8 (32:37):
I did hear that there was a group in Pakistan
of like a large group that gathered together to watch
the stream.

Speaker 6 (32:44):
Yeah, they're having viewing parties all over the world.

Speaker 1 (32:47):
Wow, look at you miss International Pakistan to Boss from
Pakistan to BOSSI.

Speaker 5 (32:54):

Speaker 5 (32:56):
Morning.

Speaker 10 (32:57):
Guys.

Speaker 7 (32:57):
Love the show. Hey, Lisa, I'm wondering if you ever
got to the end of the first season of seven
and where your thoughts about it? Just curious. I absolutely
am hooked. I've watched both seasons or first season and
the first two episodes of the second season twice and
it's just really really good. By the way, thank you

(33:20):
justin it was your recommendation.

Speaker 8 (33:23):
Yeah, I can't say enough about severance. I know, Lisa,
you were confused watching it. I'm obsessed. Everyone's obsessed. I'm
in group chats trying to with theories on trying to
figure out what's going on, and you know what's going
you know what's happening, what's going to happen next.

Speaker 1 (33:36):
Yeah, I'm exhausted just hearing about it. It's a lot
to unpack. And then yesterday, for some reason, everybody was
posting a guy running down the hall.

Speaker 3 (33:44):
Yes, that was me.

Speaker 8 (33:44):
It was the the opening scene in season two. It
was a scene of him running through through the through
a building. It took five months to film that one scene.
Five guy at all. No, it was very it's very elusive,
not elusive, but very intricate. The shots.

Speaker 6 (34:02):
Well, I'm still I'm still on episode six. I haven't moved.
I'm gonna no, I'm finishing. No, I'm gonna finish it.
I'm just I was away. I was up skiing in
Vermont for a client. I've just had a lot going on.
But I'm going back to it today.

Speaker 12 (34:17):
Lisa, this is to let them let justin his delusion,
and you let me do.

Speaker 20 (34:23):
You gotta love Winny this morning's spreading joy and positivity
wherever she's go.

Speaker 5 (34:28):
Let them let Justin love the show.

Speaker 1 (34:30):
You let me let me not watch it?

Speaker 3 (34:34):
Why do you let Lisa watch.

Speaker 1 (34:36):
She doesn't want to watch it.

Speaker 5 (34:37):
She's only doing it to people. Please you just finish people,
please her.

Speaker 1 (34:41):
I'm gonna get a season.

Speaker 5 (34:42):
I'm doing it.

Speaker 3 (34:43):
That's what you're gonna do, you know.

Speaker 15 (34:45):
I just thought to say, I'm so happy that Justin's
the cat guy now an orange cat guy.

Speaker 14 (34:49):
At that.

Speaker 15 (34:50):
Orange cats are the best. I have two of them.

Speaker 17 (34:52):
I've always had orange cats.

Speaker 15 (34:53):
They're just the loveest, most playful, wackiest, pea brained little things.
My husband was afraid of cats his whole life until
we got together, and now we have two orange cats.
So the cat world.

Speaker 8 (35:07):
Justin, Yeah, that was from yesterday. Actually, I got a
lot of talkbacks about the cats.

Speaker 3 (35:12):
Yeah, and you know.

Speaker 8 (35:13):
I'm a cat guy. Now we have a cat. His
name's Jax. He's a little kitten, an orange kitten. He's
a boy and we love him. He's rambunctious, he's playful,
he's fun.

Speaker 1 (35:22):
And I think I'm gonna have to give in.

Speaker 8 (35:25):
Well, Michelle zeroed in on young Jacks when you guys
came to my house and she saw how playful he was,
and she.

Speaker 1 (35:32):
Was already on the cat thing. And then when she
met your cat Jack. So it's like she hasn't stopped.

Speaker 6 (35:38):
Well, it's well, why don't we all get cats together?

Speaker 1 (35:41):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (35:42):
Are you gonna get a cat too?

Speaker 6 (35:43):
Least I'm thinking about it.

Speaker 5 (35:44):
Okay, all right, I'll let you guys do that, and
I'm gonna let me.

Speaker 20 (35:48):
You gonna love Winny this morning, spreading joy and positivity
wherever she goes.

Speaker 8 (35:55):
All right, we had a very very busy show. We
covered a lot of ground. I'm talking about earthquakes, the Bachelor.
We had an actor on all that will be covered
in the wrap up which is coming up at next nine.

Speaker 1 (36:08):
Kids, One Away.

Speaker 6 (36:09):
It's the morning wrap up on Billy and Lisa in
the morning.

Speaker 8 (36:13):
I guess the big question on the show this morning
did you feel the earthquake or not? We didn't, but
plenty of people did. It wasn't too drastic, but could
it have.

Speaker 3 (36:22):
Been a sign?

Speaker 20 (36:23):
I'm actually starting a new job and yesterday I was
going for my physical and I was like thinking to myself,
I've been at the same hospital for twenty two years
and the whole time I'm like, I just need a
sign that this is the right move. And then an
earthquake happened. So I don't know if I take that
as a good sign or a bad sign. But I

(36:43):
went through with the physical, so let's hope it's a
good sign.

Speaker 6 (36:46):
I think it's a good sign.

Speaker 3 (36:47):
I think positive. Yes, always always glass half full, not
half empty, you know what I mean.

Speaker 10 (36:53):
Good Morning Morning Show. During your earthquake yesterday, I was
actually on a zoom for school and my people on zoom.
One was in Maine, one was in Rhode Island, and
I'm in Boston, and we all felt it at a different time.

Speaker 5 (37:07):
So the first.

Speaker 10 (37:08):
Time was in Maine and the person was.

Speaker 5 (37:11):
Like, oh my god, what was that? And no one
knew what she's talking about. And then it happened.

Speaker 10 (37:15):
Consecutively, so it was kind of crazy to see in
three different spots. We thought she was crazy at first.

Speaker 6 (37:21):
Felt in Rhode Island it was incredible. Had that experience.

Speaker 8 (37:24):
Yeah, and it's weird that we didn't feel We were
in Millis, Massachusetts and we didn't. But I feel like
people that were past us felt it.

Speaker 5 (37:31):
It really did.

Speaker 12 (37:32):
I just think it used to chance, like I don't
think there's any real reason behind it.

Speaker 8 (37:37):
Anyway, We shake out on the roll, buddy.

Speaker 1 (37:46):
Beautiful Milless. We enjoyed Millis. It was a lovely time.

Speaker 8 (37:50):
I know that we can't see Billy do the Billy dance,
but he was just doing it in his chair.

Speaker 3 (37:56):
Were we go?

Speaker 8 (37:58):
We had Riley Donovan on that's Lisa's and he's fourteen.
He watches The Bachelor, the Golden Bachelor, and he kind
of reviews it for us. The season premiere was last night.
As a local girl on there Juliana, who we're rooting for.
So what were Riley's initial thoughts.

Speaker 2 (38:11):
I think it was a solid group of gals.

Speaker 15 (38:12):
I would rate it probably seven out of ten. Not
going to complain, pretty good.

Speaker 8 (38:17):
He's not complaining, not complaining. You know why else he's
not complaining because he got some fans.

Speaker 2 (38:22):
A lot of my.

Speaker 20 (38:22):
Fans do I have like three hundred followers, you know,
like where do they come from?

Speaker 6 (38:27):
The even prevent people at the school and you know
they're all listening.

Speaker 1 (38:31):
Everybody's listening at the academy.

Speaker 5 (38:33):
He's so cute.

Speaker 8 (38:35):
He's getting recommendations and tips from our listeners.

Speaker 6 (38:37):
He's so fourteen, you know, hilarious.

Speaker 5 (38:41):
I have three hundred followers.

Speaker 14 (38:42):
Excuse you.

Speaker 17 (38:43):
I know.

Speaker 3 (38:44):
He's proud of his three hundred.

Speaker 8 (38:46):
Yeah yeah, so will we will follow the Bachelor if
this stuff to talk about.

Speaker 3 (38:49):
He's always standing by. We'll get him on.

Speaker 8 (38:52):
We also had marco On, who's an actor who's been
in a ton of shows in movies, Roberts Naro, but
he talked a lot about Croatian.

Speaker 3 (39:00):
Oh yeah, that's where he's from.

Speaker 21 (39:01):
Just had to chime in and say that Croatia is
literally one of the most beautiful countries ever. I went
and visited there maybe seventeen years ago. We're there for
two weeks. We were into Brevnick and then we went
to some of the islands, and it is just stunning.
Even while they were recovering from the war. They just
