Speaker 1 (00:00):
From the Planet's fitness Kiss one Owa Studios. We we're
back with a Villy and Lisa in the morning on Kiss.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
So you know what, guys, it seems like I'm always
having proud dad moments now, right, I talk about them
a lot.

Speaker 3 (00:13):
Yeah, your kids are doing some major things.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
So my son Chris, obviously he's a co owner and
managing partner of card Vault, which is a trading card company.
He does card shows all over the country. And it
turns out my son Chris now is being assigned to
the super Bowl next Sunday. Chris, are you there?

Speaker 4 (00:34):
Good morning everybody.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
Okay, what's this?

Speaker 5 (00:37):
Now?

Speaker 2 (00:37):
You're working the super Bowl?

Speaker 4 (00:39):
Pretty cool, right.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
So what's the story behind this? Why are you covering
the super Bowl? How to happen?

Speaker 4 (00:45):
Yeah, So we're obviously a partner and a large partner,
I would say, of Fanatics and have developed a relationship
with Michael Rubin and the entire Fanatics and Tops team.

Speaker 6 (00:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (00:55):
And Fanatics is notorious for their parties, right, Michael Rubin
with his White Party and then all the other Fanatics
parties that they throw.

Speaker 2 (01:02):
And we should mention, by the way, Fanatics is probably
the biggest marketing gized company in the country.

Speaker 4 (01:07):
Yeah, it's a twenty five thirty billion.

Speaker 2 (01:09):
Dollars Okay, okay, that qualifies.

Speaker 4 (01:12):
Go ahead, And so Michael Rubin and the Fanatics team
put on probably the most epic Super Bowl party that
there is, and they do it every year, and it's
chock full of a listers. It's it's not even an
invite only party. It's hand selected, super exclusive. You're talking
Kim Kardashi and Tom Brady, Dana White, you know, and everybody.

Speaker 2 (01:32):
In that realm, and they're all going to be coming
down the red carpet exactly.

Speaker 6 (01:37):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:37):
So they asked Ustin card Vault to set up on
the red carpet. For those that aren't familiar, we have
our live streaming, you know, box opening business. We're going
to set up almost like a news desk at the
end of the red carpet and there'll be a live
stream of us on red carpet, and as all the
guests and celebrities walk up, we're going to kind of
hand pick folks off the red carpet to open packs

(01:59):
with and do what we call pack battles.

Speaker 2 (02:01):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, So.

Speaker 4 (02:03):
It's gonna be a fun day. It's gonna it's gonna
be incredible.

Speaker 2 (02:05):
So are other people, like correspondence from various networks, are
they going to be working the red carpet as well?

Speaker 5 (02:12):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (02:12):
I think it's okay, who's who in the media. It's
Sports Illustrated, it's people US Weekly or Crazy.

Speaker 2 (02:18):
So now you're calling your father for tips on how
to work the red carpet? Is that what's going on here?

Speaker 5 (02:23):
That's right?

Speaker 4 (02:23):
Okay, Yeah, that's right. So I reached out to Justin,
I reached out to Winnie and Riley, and I said, listen,
I got to get on you know. First off, I
need to ask what do I do right now? This
is my first red carpet. You're the red carpet guru. Well,
it brings me back to our day's work in the
VMAs together. What tips do you have?

Speaker 2 (02:40):
Okay? First of all, we weren't working the VMAs together.
You came along as my son.

Speaker 6 (02:46):
No I was. I was clearly running point on the
whole operation.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
I agree, No, you did help off the lot. Okay.
So here's the deal with red carpets and how to
get attention. You're going to be set up. You're gonna
have a desk set up right there. On the red carpet, right,
that's right. Okay, So if you've got people from big
outlets like big networks covering it with microphones that sort
of thing, stopping people in the red carpet for interviews,
you have to make sure that either you or one

(03:09):
of your people is standing right with one of those
very important journalists or network people. And while they're there
doing the first of all, you should stick a microphone
right in there and get some of the sound. And
by the way, it wouldn't kill you to get the
sound for us here on the show. And then while
they're there for a couple of minutes doing the interview,
by the way, you tell them we're set up down
the end of the red carpet. If I could just

(03:30):
get you for a few minutes down there, we'll have
some fun. So you can stop them while they're doing
their interviews on the red.

Speaker 4 (03:35):
Carpet, So get the sound bites that they're already giving,
but then drag them over to my spot once they
give them.

Speaker 2 (03:42):
But get the sound bites. Other words, steal the sound
bites from the other networks because nobody content exactly no,
but I'm not even getting you. Just stick your microphone
in there. And by the way, since you are acting
as a correspondent for the Billy and Lisa Morning Show,
we will look in bet that sound so that we
can have it the morning after the super Bowl.

Speaker 4 (04:05):
Got it? Maybe I'll craft a Billy and Lisa in
the Morning credential so that people have a better chance
of stopping for me.

Speaker 6 (04:12):
Yeah no, no, no, no, no, don't do that because if
you're gonna hijack the sound, you get caught, they're gonna
blame it, right right, So don't want to be involved.

Speaker 4 (04:19):
Hijack the sound. Make sure it falls back on my lap,
not yours exactly.

Speaker 2 (04:23):
By the way, Mike Flag wouldn't hurt you know, Billy
and Lisa in the Morning.

Speaker 4 (04:27):
Uh yeah, not a problem.

Speaker 6 (04:29):
And you know what, Michael Rubin, he has plenty of
dot If anything happens, he'll bail you out.

Speaker 2 (04:34):
That's that is correct, now, Chris, don't forget you're gonna
be calling into this show from New Orleans in the
Super Bowl. We got that straight, right.

Speaker 4 (04:43):
Yeah, that's locked in. Once I get to New Orleans
next week, we'll be chatting and I'll give you guys
the play by play on what's happening. What the plan is,
any changes, any developments, et cetera.

Speaker 2 (04:53):
Okay, now behind the scenes, Uh, you've been working a
much anticipated deal, a partnership. Of course, we're not going
to say what it is. I knew he was going
to jump right in. I'm not saying anything. But you're
negotiating a big partnership. Is there going to be a
development on that? Not mentioning any names during the super Bowl?

Speaker 4 (05:16):
No development during the super Bowl, but shortly thereafter, so
everybody stay tuned. We do have some exciting stuff in
the works. But yeah, yeah, I almost, I almost. I
almost hit the dump button right there on your Chris.

Speaker 7 (05:28):
This is the only secret your dad's ever been able
to keep.

Speaker 4 (05:31):
It's unbelievable. The fact that I even.

Speaker 6 (05:33):
Told him is a miracle.

Speaker 4 (05:34):
But where we are, we've made it a couple of months.

Speaker 5 (05:38):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (05:38):
By the way, every single person on this show knows
the secret deal, and I think every person I've spoken
to anywhere knows about it.

Speaker 8 (05:51):
Our listeners now it's a secret though it's works for
a year.

Speaker 2 (05:55):
It's a top secret deal. I can't say anything more.

Speaker 6 (05:58):
When it's big.

Speaker 2 (05:59):
Yeah, I would like for my son to be speaking
to me after this phone conversation.

Speaker 5 (06:04):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (06:05):
Yeah, So to be clear, everybody else on your show,
knowing is not my concern.

Speaker 2 (06:10):
You knowing concern choud be careful. I'll blurt it out.
I mentioned I have brain fog this morning.

Speaker 6 (06:18):
Yeah, your dad has an eye infection cross Yeah, here
we go.

Speaker 4 (06:22):
Okay, go see the doctor please.

Speaker 2 (06:24):
Okay. So I have a safe trip. Well you're here,
when are you leaving?

Speaker 4 (06:29):
I'm in Florida right now. I had to come down
for the weekend to see Alex and Tonian. Of course,
I'll see if we can get you guys some new
fresh Lisa Philes content. Okay, and then and then I
had to New Orleans later in the week.

Speaker 2 (06:41):
Now, my son Alex and his beautiful wife Tony and
or they had another five star hotel this weekend.

Speaker 4 (06:47):
That's actually correct. I'm glad you brought that up. We're
actually in Florida awaiting their arrival as they are staying
at some sort of a luxurious five star hotel in
New York City. So they actually left.

Speaker 9 (06:58):
It's like unbelievable.

Speaker 8 (07:00):
I was going to say that, Chris, I saw Alex
was in New York last night, So what are you
talking about you're visiting him.

Speaker 7 (07:04):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (07:05):
Yeah, we're chasing them around the country. We're trying to
lock him down. But yeah, they're they're hotel hopping, rooftops, penthouses.

Speaker 5 (07:12):
What a life.

Speaker 2 (07:13):
He fascinates me. I got to call my son Alex
for a loan. I think I think he's sitting on
a lot of money. Yeah, but okay, what's happening, Chris,
have a safe trip to the super Bowl. Next time
we talk, you'll be in New Orleans.

Speaker 10 (07:28):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (07:28):
Make sure, Chris, when you're interviewing everybody, you want to
be full of life. You want to be energetic New Orleans.
Make sure you're nice and anime. Thanks Buddy. Up next,
weird Stories. We love a good crazy X story, and
we have a good one coming up next.

Speaker 1 (07:43):
Kis went to wait with Billy and Lisa's weird Stories.

Speaker 7 (07:48):
All right, angry X story Here, a woman named Sabrina
con was arrested after allegedly throwing a brick through her
ex husband's window.

Speaker 3 (07:57):
She tried to deny it, but there's always out you won't.

Speaker 5 (08:00):
Bang it on here.

Speaker 11 (08:02):
Yeah, I'm trying to get in touch with my ex husband.

Speaker 12 (08:04):
I banged on the door because he want me in
do you live.

Speaker 5 (08:07):
Here at all? Did you launch anything in there? You sure?
Lawyer for what for bringing the window? For a break?
Break the window?

Speaker 9 (08:20):
The window?

Speaker 5 (08:20):
Do you want to speak to me about it? We
can speak with you.

Speaker 13 (08:23):
Yes, I want to speak with you.

Speaker 5 (08:24):
I didn't give right and then we'll go from.

Speaker 3 (08:29):
I did not break the window.

Speaker 2 (08:31):
Did he play the video.

Speaker 6 (08:32):
For I'm not sure, but she is caught red handed?

Speaker 3 (08:36):
Oh, totally way around and arrested. Yeah, you don't want
to do that.

Speaker 10 (08:40):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (08:40):
The brick through the window is never fun. I got
to break through the window of my house once, my
childhood home.

Speaker 2 (08:47):
Yeah, and you never know who's on the other side
of the window.

Speaker 6 (08:50):
It's very scary. It's weird. On the same week I
had a brick thrown through the window, and then someone
put an adult film in my mailbox.

Speaker 2 (09:00):
Remember you're telling me, yeah.

Speaker 6 (09:01):
Gay film. My dad found it. It was so he's like,
what's what is going on with you?

Speaker 2 (09:07):
Or was it one of your father's videos because he
shot Born for a living? No, no, no, maybe he
wanted to get.

Speaker 6 (09:13):
A first looks. That's a separate dad.

Speaker 2 (09:16):
What you think about this one? Police in Oklahoma arresting
a guy after he allegedly broke in on an escape
room business. Now Here is Barry Anderson, who works in
that building as the escape room, talking about the arrest.

Speaker 5 (09:33):
This is kind of an unusual situation. Usually the cameras
do a real.

Speaker 14 (09:37):
Good job on the security parts.

Speaker 15 (09:39):
Somehow he's he was able to get into the elevator area.

Speaker 6 (09:43):
Yeah, kind of ironic.

Speaker 2 (09:44):
There isn't there an escape room place right down the street.

Speaker 8 (09:48):
Org which is down like in Maldon Center Square or
whatever I guess it is.

Speaker 2 (09:52):
Yeah, yeah, I don't know if it's still there, but
it's in there for.

Speaker 5 (09:54):
A little bit.

Speaker 2 (09:55):
Okay, when you got weird for us?

Speaker 4 (09:56):
Yeah?

Speaker 9 (09:57):
He ever heard of stick talk?

Speaker 8 (09:58):
Not TikTok, stick talk, which is a small subset of
people online who are very passionate about finding cool sticks,
like sticks out in the wood.

Speaker 2 (10:08):
Like yeah, yeah, I just likes a good stick.

Speaker 3 (10:11):
Okay, you know what.

Speaker 6 (10:14):
He's part of stick Nation.

Speaker 5 (10:16):
Stick Nation.

Speaker 15 (10:17):
This is my official submission. This stick was growing through
a fence. You can see it's great at casting. This
is a wizard type stick. It has the protection sleeve
on the bottom. This is an amazing stick, one of one.
You will never find another stick like this.

Speaker 6 (10:32):
You know, when I see these stories, and as silly
as they may seem, they're happier than ever with their sticks.

Speaker 2 (10:39):
Yeah. Can I ask you a question?

Speaker 6 (10:41):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (10:41):
Isn't there a song Stick season?

Speaker 14 (10:43):
Yes?

Speaker 6 (10:44):
There is, Yeah, but.

Speaker 9 (10:47):
It's to see another Sticks song.

Speaker 6 (10:51):
And you could listen to that song while.

Speaker 3 (10:52):
You're roaming around looking for sticks.

Speaker 6 (10:55):
There you go, Stick Nation alright, ability coming up here?

Speaker 2 (10:59):
Well, well, we're coming up on the Grammys. It's the
biggest night of the year in the music world. The
Grammy Awards are this coming Sunday night. We've got that,
and we're also going to recap recap a lot of
what happened to that fire Aid concert last night. It
was sensation. Will take you to some of the performances
that's up next. Ind bite back to Billion Lisa in

(11:24):
the morning. Oh, it's the big Friday show and I
got to tell you so far it has been a
gigantic Friday show. Justin you want to get a couple
of talkbacks in before entertainment.

Speaker 6 (11:37):
Yes, absolutely, Thank you to everybody that is checking in
on the talkback Mike. That's the feature on the iHeart app,
which by the way, is free to download. You can
become a part of the show. Just have the red
microphone recording your message that comes to me and I'll
put you on. Hey, guys, it's Jamie. Made it home
from DC.

Speaker 16 (11:52):
Safe. Was a wild twenty four hours there. It was
about two blocks away from Reagan.

Speaker 5 (12:00):
What a scene.

Speaker 16 (12:01):
Super thankful everybody in my group was safe and our
flights were when they were But definitely a surreal experience
as somebody who is in and out of that airport
every other week, so thinking of everyone.

Speaker 2 (12:14):
Yeah, he's talking about Reagan International, the airport where the
Blackhawk collided with the airplane and the search continues and
there are still bodies in the water. Sixty seven people died.
What an incredible tragedy and a big local connection too, Yeah,
with the Boston Skating Club or the Skating Club of Boston.
Nancy Kerigan was on the news yesterday. So emotional because

(12:35):
that's where she did her.

Speaker 7 (12:36):
Training, right, and it's such a close knit community, that
skating community. Oh yeah, it makes it even It's just
so tragic.

Speaker 2 (12:44):
Young teenage skaters like thirteen and fifteen years old and
on their way to become world champions.

Speaker 6 (12:51):
Yeah, awful story. Awful story.

Speaker 17 (12:54):
Hi everyone, I want to say I went to Marine
Hancock last night, and I have to say she's number
one the funniest person on planet Earth and number two
just the sweetest person on planet Earth.

Speaker 9 (13:05):
That was such a fun event.

Speaker 17 (13:07):
I highly advise everyone to check it out.

Speaker 6 (13:09):
We love Marine Yeah. Yeah, we have her on all
the time. She's our medium. Yeah, and she is very funny.
She does a good ambev impression, you know, Karen Karen retrialv.

Speaker 12 (13:19):
Mister Jackson asked it differently, mister Jannetti.

Speaker 11 (13:22):
We talked about this out sidebar, none of this conversation.

Speaker 9 (13:28):
Can you answer? That's the best.

Speaker 6 (13:31):
Yeah, Marie made it in the top twenty four moments
of Oh that's right.

Speaker 5 (13:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (13:36):
We had around a couple of times, one of which
was during Halloween and she was on fire. So shout
out to Marie.

Speaker 2 (13:43):
She's the best.

Speaker 6 (13:43):
Yeah. Are you ready to go there?

Speaker 9 (13:44):
Let's go now.

Speaker 1 (13:46):
The entertainment update with a Billy Gotstad Okay.

Speaker 2 (13:49):
The Fire Aid concert airing last night on as many
as nine hundred iHeart radio stations, including Kiss Runawait. All
the money raised going directly to relief effort. It's in
southern California. Billy Crystal, like so many other people out
there lost everything, family, homes, I mean everything. And he

(14:10):
hosted the first part of the show. Here's some of
what he said.

Speaker 14 (14:13):
Hello, La and everybody watching around the world watching us,
Welcome to Fire Aid.

Speaker 2 (14:17):
We're gathered here at the Key of Form.

Speaker 14 (14:20):
Our goal is simple tonight, to raise more money than
a Dodger spent on free agents. You will be hearing
from a number of people who were tragically affected by
these fires, and I am one of them. I stepped
onto the grounds and I fell to my knees and
I wailed. I had not cried like that since I

(14:40):
was fifteen years old and I was told that my
father had just died.

Speaker 2 (14:44):
This was the only thing that was left.

Speaker 14 (14:47):
I felt it was a message from that fifteen year
old me saying it's going to be okay, and it
will be okay.

Speaker 2 (14:54):
Yeah. It was an emotional night. It was an awesome night.
Billy Eilish in Green Day opened the show. Later in
the show, Billy and her brother Phineas did a few songs,
including Birds of a Feather, I.

Speaker 18 (15:06):
Don't No Cry for Hide, Take Love More, I'm not
belong but Baby.

Speaker 5 (15:25):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (15:26):
It seemed all of the performances Lisa had a connection
to the cause they did. It was emotional. Pink last
night did what about Us?

Speaker 9 (15:33):
What about us? What about all the time you said
you had the answer?

Speaker 2 (15:41):
What about? What about all the broken? Happy? Ever? After
another amazing performance, Katie Perry did a few songs, including
Roar and also California Girls.

Speaker 9 (15:58):
What Unforgettable?

Speaker 18 (16:00):
Lazy Dude's Cooking, He's son top Son, kiskit so hot?

Speaker 9 (16:05):
Well, met your popsicle?

Speaker 3 (16:11):
I love that she did that.

Speaker 2 (16:12):
I melt your popsicle.

Speaker 3 (16:13):
Hey, I love that song.

Speaker 2 (16:15):
She's coming to Boston August eighth. In fact, timing tickets
are on sale this morning at ten o'clock. Lady Gaga
last night did the song Shallow, which I love. That's
an emotional song. She also debuted a brand new song
that she actually wrote just for the people of southern California,
and we've got a clip.

Speaker 19 (16:36):
When I was thinking about what to sing tonight, I
thought I wanted to do something hopeful for you, and
I was thinking about my songs and there wasn't anything
that seemed quite right. So me and my friend Michael,
my fiance, my love, we wrote this song for you and.

Speaker 2 (17:00):
Justin It is new music Friday, so let's play a clip.

Speaker 17 (17:04):
Whist that I concern the starar around if I can
a found a different railway on the need, it is time.

Speaker 2 (17:14):
On of me, It is time.

Speaker 12 (17:18):
On the ned.

Speaker 3 (17:19):
It is time to heal a broken wings.

Speaker 2 (17:23):
And then also, and how about this, Before the show
even aired, they raised close to seventy million dollars and
there is a match in motion, right, Lisa.

Speaker 7 (17:35):
There is so La Clippers owner Steve Ballmer said he
would match every dollar that was donated during last night's broadcast.

Speaker 2 (17:44):
So they could end up with two three hundred million dollars.

Speaker 5 (17:47):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (17:47):
Absolutely, the money will just keep piling up. And let's
continue with new music justin what else do you have?

Speaker 6 (17:52):
Yeah, The Weekend dropped his new album at midnight. It's
called Hurry Up Tomorrow. He says it's the last album
as The Weekend. No word on what's gonna happen. Is
he gonna change his name? I don't know, but the
album's out. We'll be featuring songs all day long on
Kiss you know, and including this one right here. It's
called Cry for Me. I'm looking that one. I think

(18:25):
the production on all of his new music is fantastic.
Oh yeah, definitely definitely really good. This one's called Wake
Me Up and it interpolates Michael Jackson's thriller. I'm liking
this one too.

Speaker 2 (18:43):
That's right, that's my favorite number one song.

Speaker 6 (18:48):
Yeah, I think so.

Speaker 9 (18:49):
That's why radio changing cry for me.

Speaker 6 (18:51):
Yeah yeah, Well, we're featuring all the songs all day
long on Kiss, so as always, let us know what
you think, what you like, what you don't like, and
you can listen on your radio or the iHeartRadio app
as always.

Speaker 2 (19:01):
I really like that song. Grammy Awards biggest night of
the year in music is this coming Sunday night. Beyonce
has the most nominations overall with eleven and I'm gonna
predict Lisa. I don't think she's gonna win a Grammy.
Oh just my prediction. I don't think she's gonna win
a Grammy. It's just a feeling. I've got Billy Eilish,

(19:22):
Kendrick Lamar, Post Malone, and Charlie XCX all have seven
nominations each in the Album of the Year category. You've
got Beyonce, Billy Eilish, Chapel Roon, Sabrina carpent Er, Taylor Swift,
Charlie XCX, and we all picked our favorites this morning.
Who did you pick for Album of the Year this morning?
Li do you remember?

Speaker 9 (19:43):
Yeah?

Speaker 7 (19:43):
It was Beyonce for Cowboy Carter just because she's never
one Album of the Year.

Speaker 2 (19:48):
And I think I went with Billy Eilish for Album
of the Year. She had an incredible year, but then again,
so did Sabrina Carpenter.

Speaker 9 (19:54):
Yeah, they were all good.

Speaker 3 (19:55):
We picked Billy Eilish for Record of the Year for
Birds of a Feather And.

Speaker 2 (19:59):
I think new Artist that's a big category this year.
I think we all had different people. I went with
Chapel Roone.

Speaker 3 (20:04):
I went with Chapelone.

Speaker 2 (20:05):
Would you go with Winnie new Art? Oh? You went
with and who did you pick?

Speaker 6 (20:11):
Joe John?

Speaker 2 (20:12):
Okay, Sunday Night, Grammy Awards. And by the way, I
want to share this with you. Okay, this marks the
ten year anniversary of the famous morning show moment ten
years ago when I was about to do my Grammy
report and without any of you, including Maddie, telling me

(20:34):
that you are altering my voice. And here's how it all.

Speaker 6 (20:37):
Went to the Grammy Awards.

Speaker 2 (20:41):
Love the Grammys. All right, let's hear about that.

Speaker 6 (20:48):
Sunday Night, the Grammys.

Speaker 13 (20:49):
Wows for all the Ronalds.

Speaker 2 (20:55):
Viral cREL serious statement. Well let's hear it.

Speaker 13 (21:00):
I'll sing on to all those the Grammars.

Speaker 6 (21:04):
Okay, what to raw? What not to raw? Okay, what
do you wear?

Speaker 13 (21:10):
Those are standards unpracticing.

Speaker 2 (21:13):
Anderson practices of the Grammy Awards number.

Speaker 13 (21:16):
One, number one, be sure number one, and least attention. Okay,
Alvin Sure walk bocks on female breasts on a direct cabin.

Speaker 3 (21:41):
Still the funniest piece of audio I've.

Speaker 2 (21:42):
Ever had was ten years ago. Funny for you, that dude.

Speaker 9 (21:49):
We figured out how to do it again.

Speaker 3 (21:53):
It was life changing, It really was.

Speaker 2 (21:55):
Actually after that, it was done several more times without
my notice. Yeah, come on, oh there it is again. Okay,
all right, let's have some fun again. Well, you never
know what it's gonna happen, Bill, Okay, it so helped me,
justin so help me take your fingers off the board.
Jozier announced a new tour yesterday. It comes to Boston
Fenway Park June twenty third, and Netflix is going ahead

(22:20):
with the show building the band Winnie, even though it
features the Lately in Paign as one of the judges.
They don't have an air date yet. But there was
a lot of speculation as to whether or not they
would air that show. I think it's a good decision.

Speaker 9 (22:32):
I think.

Speaker 8 (22:32):
I mean, he's, you know, a judge or you know,
a guidance hunter, whatever they call them now. But I
think it's it's a good way to honor him. Nothing
bad about it.

Speaker 3 (22:42):
Yeah, I'll watch it, and I want to see it.

Speaker 2 (22:44):
I think everybody's going to watch it. And no release
date yet for Stranger Things five.

Speaker 3 (22:50):
Oh geez, they need to get on with this. I
have been waiting like four years for this thing to
come back.

Speaker 9 (22:56):
The kids now have their own kids, they do.

Speaker 2 (22:59):
They say every episode is going to be like a
blockbuster movie eight blockbuster movie type episodes.

Speaker 3 (23:05):
Can't wait.

Speaker 2 (23:06):
And no release date yet. And by the way, when
is the new season of The White Lotus coming out?

Speaker 3 (23:10):
That's February.

Speaker 6 (23:11):
Good a couple of weeks.

Speaker 2 (23:12):
Yeah, oh awesome. Don't forget. The Pro Bowl is Sunday,
and our own Drake may is one of the replacement quarterbacks.
And you know what the Pro Bowl when they have
these contests for all the guys, and they had the
quarterback passing contest. There are six quarterbacks there. Keep in
mind the big guys, Lamar Jackson, Jayden Daniels, Josh Allen

(23:34):
and Josh Allen are skipping the Pro Bowl, but all
six quarterbacks competed, and I felt the need to tell
you that our guy Drake May finished in last Oh.

Speaker 3 (23:47):
Well, he can only go up from there.

Speaker 2 (23:49):
That's a good way to look at it.

Speaker 3 (23:51):
You know, when you hit rock bond and the only
way to go is up.

Speaker 2 (23:54):
You know what, when the new season for the Patriots starts,
Drake May is going to be spot on.

Speaker 4 (23:59):
Yes he is on.

Speaker 2 (24:00):
Anyway, Bruins lost to the Jets. The Jets, by the way,
are the best of the West. Producer Raley, I'm looking
at you through that glass, big Bruins fan, six to two.
They lost to the Jets last night. Celtsic gonna Oh, Bruins,
by the way, have an afternoon game tomorrow afternoon, three thirty,
and the Celts are going to play the Pelicans tonight.

Speaker 9 (24:18):
Wait before you go to you're saying, what's this Pete
Davidson story you're missing?

Speaker 2 (24:22):
I want to know about it. I had a Pete
Davidson story. There's a good reason it's missing. It's because
I never had it. Oh well, tell us the story
I found about his ferry.

Speaker 6 (24:33):
Yeah, I have the sound. We just had a busy morning.
We had fire red Grammys. So yeah. Pete Davison was
on Folin last night. Him and Colin Joe's bought it
a fast and everyone's like, what are you going to
do with it? And he answered the question, Yeah.

Speaker 2 (24:46):
It's like four or five floors and each floor we're
going to do something. You know interesting, I've heard about
a hotel, hotel up top, movie theater and entertainment theater,
some like little shopping kiosks, and you know, it's only
been two.

Speaker 5 (24:59):
Years of people like, I guess it's dead.

Speaker 2 (25:00):
And it's like, we just got one hundred million dollars.
Give us a second.

Speaker 6 (25:05):
Yeah, a little bit of a second.

Speaker 3 (25:07):
But I tell you had a big Timmy He'll Figure
fashion show.

Speaker 2 (25:10):
Hill Figured did his fashion show on there. That was massive.

Speaker 6 (25:12):
I saw that.

Speaker 2 (25:13):
Yeah, you know what the bigger story there is though.
A big story last week was that Colin Joe's wife,
Scarlet Johansson, is demanding that he sell that thing because
it's bleeding money.

Speaker 6 (25:25):
Well, they bought it when they were high.

Speaker 2 (25:27):
Yeah, we spent fortune renovating.

Speaker 3 (25:32):
Imagine he loses his entire fortune on that boat.

Speaker 2 (25:36):
Scarlet said to him, We're not going to be able
to be able to pay our mortgage because of that
tub you have sitting in the water down there. And
I'm not making it up.

Speaker 6 (25:44):
That's a real story.

Speaker 3 (25:45):
That conversation.

Speaker 2 (25:46):
We're brought to you by Boston Vision, New Year and
New Vision. Why wait to start seeing the world clearly
if you're tired of the glasses and the contact line
does get Lasik with Boston Vision doing in twenty twenty five,
imagine waking up every single morning with crisp clear sight,
no lenses, no hassles. Your best vision guarantee is Boston Vision.

Speaker 6 (26:05):
And there you go.

Speaker 13 (26:06):
I want to talk about them.

Speaker 1 (26:08):
Was from the Planet Fitness Kiss One Away Studios. We're
back with Billy and Lisa in the morning on.

Speaker 2 (26:15):
Kiss and this morning on the show, we have our
first local Legend of twenty twenty five. Lisa explain to
the listeners what the local legend is all about.

Speaker 3 (26:26):
All right, so think about people in your community.

Speaker 7 (26:29):
People you know could be a family member, a teacher,
a nurse, a crossing guard, someone in your town that's
just doing amazing things that you want to give recognition to.

Speaker 3 (26:41):
So that's what we're going to do. So we're going
to come to you.

Speaker 7 (26:43):
You nominate someone, go to kiss oneaway dot com slash
legend and tell us why this person is so amazing,
and then we will come out to that person in surprise.

Speaker 2 (26:54):
That And we couldn't search the local legends without Harvard
Pilgrim Healthcare. Okay, they make it happen. And this past
week what we did was we all got in our
cars and we traveled to Millis, Massachusetts. I think it
was like a four hour drive.

Speaker 6 (27:09):
Yeah. I left it like nine, got there nine thirty,
got there like two. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (27:14):
Our local legend this week is Beth Moral. She's a
power professional at Millis High School. She was nominated by
Rachel McCaffrey. And now here's the deal. Beth does a
lot and apparently goes way above and way beyond even
after hours after school, so much so she created her

(27:36):
own initiative and we asked her what that's all about.

Speaker 20 (27:39):
There's another organization called Kyle Kerrs, which is a regional organization.
The president founder of it came in and talked about
his family struggle when their son took his own life.
He mentioned that other schools had what was called an
active Minds chapter and would we be willing to think
about creating one. So about three years ago, great group

(28:00):
of students immediately said yes, and I also said yes,
and we turned it into a pretty big club here.

Speaker 5 (28:08):
At our little school.

Speaker 9 (28:10):
But it addresses, you.

Speaker 20 (28:12):
Know, how people are feeling, and getting to help with
mental health and getting to prevent hopefully prevent suicides, hopefully
talk people into talking about mental health in a positive
way and understanding that getting help is okay.

Speaker 7 (28:28):
She is so supportive and all of the kids came
into the classroom and wanted to be there when she
was told that she was a local legend.

Speaker 2 (28:37):
And you have to know, when we seek out the
local legend, we all go together and they have no
idea where coming.

Speaker 9 (28:43):
It was scared, terrifying.

Speaker 6 (28:46):
We walked in and she turned white as a ghost.

Speaker 3 (28:49):
She was like stepping away from Billy. At one point,
it was so funny.

Speaker 2 (28:53):
She was backing like into a wall. She went on
my under arrest or something.

Speaker 6 (28:56):
Because the thing about local legends, these are people who
are not doing what they're doing for the attention exactly.
They're not doing it. We're choosing to recognize them because
they deserve it, but she's not there looking for that.
So when we walked in, she was like, what did
I do?

Speaker 3 (29:10):
She's like, what's going on?

Speaker 6 (29:11):
What's going on? And all the children were there, and
I think in the for the first time in Local
Legend's history, it was the first time two different people
separately nominated.

Speaker 2 (29:21):
Her from that school, and they didn't realize it until
after we did the whole Local Legend thing and then
they met in the hall with it. Oh, you nominated
her too, Well, this was meant to be. So thank
you to Rachel and I forget the other woman's name
for nominating Beth, And congratulations to Beth. She's our first
Local Legend of twenty twenty five thanks to Harvard Pilgrim Mouthcare.

Speaker 6 (29:41):
And we also gave her a nice little gift so
she can, you know, take herself out and have some
fun and we'll continue this. We're going to go out
again next week. So, like Lisa said, kiss went away
dot com slash legend to nominate someone, be very specific
as to what they do. Some people are specific, and
I think that's a missed opportunity. Yeah, we're having a lot.

Speaker 2 (30:00):
Of fun with this one, and we're mating a lot
of incredible people who in fact are going above and beyond.
So I'm liking this and thanks again to Harvard Pilgrim Healthcare,
Billy and Lisa.

Speaker 9 (30:10):
Every morning Kiss when I Wait.

Speaker 2 (30:12):
It's brand new from the weekend. It's called wake Me
Up justin. That's got to be the longest song we
played since the disco days.

Speaker 6 (30:17):
It is a five minute song. You do not see
that in twenty twenty five.

Speaker 2 (30:20):
That's like a twelve inch dance remix.

Speaker 6 (30:22):
It's got a long intro.

Speaker 3 (30:24):
I think they should cut out the intro.

Speaker 2 (30:25):
I think so too, me too.

Speaker 6 (30:27):
It's good for the album because if you listen to
his album, it's like a story. Ah so one song
goes into the next, so that he has these really
long intros. But yeah, cut it out.

Speaker 2 (30:36):
Yeah, thankful. And the album just dropped, right, just.

Speaker 6 (30:39):
Dropped at midnight. We're playing songs all all day long
on Kiss went a Wait.

Speaker 5 (30:42):
So that's good.

Speaker 6 (30:43):
So some talkback leftovers from today?

Speaker 17 (30:45):
You know.

Speaker 6 (30:45):
I feel like a broken record. Every morning I come
in and I say leave a talkback. Here's the talkback button,
And I always say, am I being redundant?

Speaker 17 (30:53):
You know?

Speaker 6 (30:53):
And then I get messages like this.

Speaker 12 (30:55):
I've been listening to you guys on iHeartRadio for quite
some time, and I've always wondered.

Speaker 17 (31:00):
Where the talk back mike button worse.

Speaker 9 (31:04):
I just found it Happy Friday.

Speaker 2 (31:07):
Yeah, it's right there. You almost can't miss it, right,
talkback Mike?

Speaker 6 (31:11):
Yeah, and you can. You can leave a talk back
at any time. And if you do not have the
iHeart app, just get it. It's free. You download it,
you listen to us, you leave a talkback, And there's
a ton of new features on there as well, and
we would appreciate it. If you've made kiss want to
wait your number one pre set the top of it.
That's one of the new features, the preset feature. I'm
gonna start sending you talkbacks in the middle of the night.

Speaker 2 (31:31):
Me too.

Speaker 6 (31:32):
I welcome everything. I've never sat one really weird talk Yeah,
here's a piece of piece of trivia for you. Do
you know who left the first talkback of the Billion
Lisa Show? Anybody?

Speaker 10 (31:45):
I do?

Speaker 6 (31:45):
I think you do?

Speaker 5 (31:46):
Who is it?

Speaker 9 (31:48):
I think I know too?

Speaker 6 (31:49):
Okay, do you want to guess.

Speaker 9 (31:50):
Landscape or Tommy?

Speaker 6 (31:52):
No, he was one of the early ones. No, it
was this guy.

Speaker 2 (31:54):
Hey, guys, regular guy Bob here.

Speaker 12 (31:57):
I am making a concerted effort to make a come
back this year. I know I've had on much, but
I know I can't beat the mayor, but I hope
to make it up in quality. Love you, guys, And
I was the original talkbacker when the Billy and Lisa
Show first started. I was the first talkbacker with a brand.

Speaker 2 (32:17):
Have a great one but Bye.

Speaker 6 (32:18):
He was the first person to give himself.

Speaker 3 (32:20):
The name, right, I thought it was Skippy.

Speaker 6 (32:23):
Yeah, another early one too.

Speaker 2 (32:26):
So where's regular guy, Bob Bitch.

Speaker 6 (32:28):
I don't know he's still listening. I think. I think
what happens is they, you know, people, they want to
leave room for others. That's what I feel like. Yeah,
there's always people that want to jump in.

Speaker 9 (32:37):
Good morning guys.

Speaker 11 (32:38):
I'm gonna need myself jazzy Jules. I think justin you
might need to go ahead and tea bag Billy's eye.
It sounds like, well, you know, because tea bags are
really good hot compress, you know, for the eye when
you have some kind of clock going on there. So
I think you should have my brother out.

Speaker 9 (33:00):
Happy Friday, guys.

Speaker 2 (33:01):
I thought she was going somewhere else.

Speaker 9 (33:02):
I thought so too.

Speaker 6 (33:08):
That was a good one. That was a good one. Yeah,
we love the check ins, you know, nice and early.
Maybe you work the overnight shift, you get off work,
you check in, you're all wound up.

Speaker 9 (33:17):
Good morning from Lowell, Massachusetts.

Speaker 2 (33:22):
I'm leaving work.

Speaker 12 (33:22):
I'm an overnight nurse and i.

Speaker 11 (33:24):
Just did four ships in a row, so I'll be
sleeping for the next forty eight hours.

Speaker 9 (33:28):
Have a great weekend. Good night, everybody.

Speaker 6 (33:30):
Good night. Isn't that interesting. It's it's they work overnight
and then they go to sleep and sleep during the day.

Speaker 2 (33:37):
Yeah. Wow, Yeah, that's why they call it the graveyard.

Speaker 6 (33:39):
Not easy to do, Yeah, not easy to do, for sure.

Speaker 10 (33:42):
I love being able to do the talkbacks. I'm getting
a talkback edition. I do call in all the time.
I identify as Gollum. My adult daughters a cringeing because
now I've found a new avenue. They absolutely hate my
Instagram post, my Instagram stories.

Speaker 2 (33:58):
I don't know why.

Speaker 10 (34:00):
Last storm we had, I took a picture of the
beautiful ocean. I said, uh, ca't before the storm gonna
get hit with six to ten inches, then it's gonna snow.

Speaker 2 (34:09):
I don't know why they get so mad.

Speaker 9 (34:12):
Yeah, okay, I.

Speaker 21 (34:14):
Knew second agains are getting very creative, very they're great
and you know what, you can be one of them,
stambled the iHeart app.

Speaker 6 (34:24):
It's easy to do.

Speaker 2 (34:26):
All right.

Speaker 6 (34:27):
This has been an insane Friday show. We're all a
little crazy, but uh, you know, we'll wrap things up
as you're going to the weekend. On the wrap up,
which is coming up.

Speaker 1 (34:36):
Next kids, it's the morning wrap up on Billy and
Lisa in the morning.

Speaker 6 (34:42):
Oh man, wait to even start on the Friday Show.
A lot happened this morning. I will start with Billy
and Lisa making their TV debut on WBZ with Chris
and Paula. How to go, guys? Good you think Yeah?

Speaker 3 (34:55):
I thought it was great.

Speaker 2 (34:56):
It went great.

Speaker 5 (34:57):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (34:57):
So this has been in the making for a little while.
There's a camera in our studio and every morning around
six fifty five am, they will patch you guys in.
You'll be live with them to talk about everything entertainment,
fun topics, just fun things. And this morning was about
the Grammys.

Speaker 2 (35:12):
It was yeah, little recap on fire Aid which happened
last night, but yeah, mostly the Grammys, which are happening
this Sunday night.

Speaker 6 (35:20):
Yeah, we gave our own predictions, which I have right here.
Oh okay, Yeah, on Monday, we're going to see I'm
really hoping that Winnie wins in the Best New Artist.

Speaker 8 (35:34):
Jacob something dot it was what was it?

Speaker 10 (35:37):
No, it was.

Speaker 6 (35:40):
Album of the Year. Yeah, Jacob Collier.

Speaker 2 (35:43):
Yeah, I'm rooting for Winnie because it'll be so weird
if he wins.

Speaker 12 (35:47):
I know.

Speaker 6 (35:47):
But last thays happened at the Grammys, so it does. Yeah. Also,
the Weekend's new album came out at midnight. We've been
playing songs all day long on Kiss one to wait,
one of them we love and everyone else does too.

Speaker 11 (35:58):
I am obsessed with this song.

Speaker 17 (36:00):
This is the best of able.

Speaker 12 (36:02):
This is the.

Speaker 17 (36:05):
Eighties pop, the sexy vocals, Blade, Michael Jackson, give.

Speaker 9 (36:12):
It All to Me.

Speaker 10 (36:14):
Wow.

Speaker 6 (36:15):
Oh man. Yeah, she's talking about the song wake Me Up,
which sample's Michael Jackson.

Speaker 2 (36:27):
We allowed to critique on the Billy and Lisa Morning Show. Yes,
Lisa and I both think they should cut the beginning off.
It's a very long song. In the beginning kind of drags.

Speaker 6 (36:36):
I'm just saying it's five minutes long. Yeah, in the
first two minutes are very slow, So maybe we'll cut
it up a little.

Speaker 12 (36:42):
Bit.

Speaker 3 (36:42):
Who knows that would?

Speaker 6 (36:43):
But yeah, all day long on Kiss you'll hear new
songs from the weekend. We were talking about the Grammys
and there was a talk backer that left a message
for us asking what our hidden talents were. Remember that.

Speaker 19 (36:54):
Yes, wait, I know you can't see me.

Speaker 11 (36:56):
But my hidden talent is I can talk with my
mouth closed.

Speaker 3 (37:00):
I'll give it a try.

Speaker 9 (37:02):
Hi, Daddy.

Speaker 18 (37:05):
Late and I can't.

Speaker 9 (37:11):
Bye, she give me a puppeteer.

Speaker 5 (37:15):
Can you do that list?

Speaker 6 (37:21):
It's given Mickey mouse Bob.

Speaker 4 (37:24):
But I did it right?

Speaker 6 (37:28):
Yeah? Did you know that you can't? You can't. This
is kind of a separate thing that you can't touch
your shoulder with your palm. Most people go ahead, try
your palm. See you can't. I can, right, Whinny you can't. No, no,
from the side.

Speaker 9 (37:40):
Oh you didn't say that.

Speaker 2 (37:43):
She herself on the back.

Speaker 6 (37:45):
If you put from the side from the now, try
to touch your shoulder with your palm, Lisa, your shoulder top. Well,
at least it looks like she can do it.

Speaker 19 (37:54):
I can do it.

Speaker 17 (37:55):
You know what?

Speaker 6 (37:55):
That is a hidden talent?

Speaker 5 (37:56):
There we go.

Speaker 2 (37:57):
Oh, and you can also talk with your mouth close.

Speaker 6 (38:05):
And finally, speaking of talent, Billy's son, Chris Costa is
going to be our correspondent at the super Bowl in
New Orleans next week. He's in Florida now, but he's
heading down there. He's going to be hanging out with
all the big wigs down there, so that's cool. But
he called in today to get some tips from his
dad and what to do you know at the uh,
what's he gonna be on the red carpet? He's gonna
be on the red carpet? Yeah, okay, Well he called

(38:27):
in for some tips, which my computer froze, so I
was gonna play a lot.

Speaker 2 (38:30):
So you were stalling right there. Okay, yeah, by the way,
stalling At least you can just say something else with
your mouth closed.

Speaker 9 (38:37):
I can play it for you if you want, justin
on my end.

Speaker 2 (38:40):
You can, Yeah, I can.

Speaker 6 (38:42):
What is it called?

Speaker 8 (38:44):
Okay, you know what it is before I click it
because I got to start clicking stuff you want.

Speaker 2 (38:48):
There could be a squirk.

Speaker 6 (38:51):
Look what having fun.

Speaker 17 (38:54):
Fun?

Speaker 2 (39:00):
There could be a squirre.

Speaker 6 (39:03):
All right, listen this weekend, you have some time. It's

very cool thing.

Speaker 7 (39:36):
It was started by Anton Cleaners and they distribute prompt
dresses to high school students who would not otherwise have
the opportunity to go to the prompt.

Speaker 2 (39:43):
All that and more the Billion Lisa Show, First thing
Monday morning. But right now the Mighty one is kicking
down the door.

Speaker 6 (39:50):
