Speaker 1 (00:00):
Now this morning show in Boston, Billy and Lisa in
the morning.
Speaker 2 (00:04):
It's just a great start to my day on kids Runaway.
Speaker 3 (00:09):
Okay, here we go, Lisa. It's the big Friday show,
the Billy and Lisa Morning Show. And I want to
start by saying that big, gigantic threatening storm yesterday was
a dud.
Speaker 2 (00:22):
Complete bust. But it was icy.
Speaker 4 (00:24):
It was icy, and at the beginning of the storm
there were a lot of accidents, a lot of cars
and ditches, so I will say that. But as we
got into the afternoon, it started to warm up a
little bit, it started to rain, and then it just
fizzled out.
Speaker 3 (00:39):
And I want to thank you Lisa for checking in
with me several times on my treacherous drive to New Haven. Yes,
I never heard from Justin. I never heard from Winnie.
I actually texted your wife. Actually, Riley actually checked in
on me to see where I'm going. So that leaves you, Winnie,
you don't call me. Oh good point. Good point.
Speaker 5 (00:59):
I mean I was busy taking care of my castle.
Oh okay, scraping and shoveling, yeah yeah, yeah, but I
was thinking about you.
Speaker 3 (01:07):
I want to tell you one story from the road,
and this could happen at any time, and you need
to be aware. Okay, what is At one point we
were on the mass Pike coming home actually, and there
was a box truck in the lane to the right
of me, slightly ahead of me, and all of a sudden,
and I'm not even exaggerating, eight or nine giant pieces
(01:30):
of solid ice came off the roof of his box truck.
And I'm telling you, they all it was like meteorites.
They all came at me, and they all hit my windshield.
I literally leaned over to cover Michelle because I was
sure the windshield was going to go.
Speaker 2 (01:47):
It's completely treacherous and that happens.
Speaker 3 (01:48):
Oh my god, I've been thinking about it every minute since. Well,
I'm glad that you're alive. I don't think you're that glad,
but that's very happy. It was one of the most
frightening experiences of my life. So I just wanted to
share that with you and thank you Les for checking in.
Speaker 2 (02:02):
Oh you're welcome. I was worried.
Speaker 3 (02:05):
But anyway, here we are the Big Friday Show. Now,
apparently we didn't get the memo, but it's a National
wear red Day.
Speaker 4 (02:12):
Yeah, no, none, none of us are wearing red.
Speaker 3 (02:15):
Well, when he comes the closest, she's kind of like
in an eggplant. Yeah, I guess it's like purple.
Speaker 2 (02:21):
Yeah, it's not red.
Speaker 5 (02:23):
Do we do those things.
Speaker 2 (02:24):
That not you as, We've never done that.
Speaker 3 (02:26):
It's pretty lame. They do it like way up north.
Speaker 4 (02:30):
It looks like everyone is a Kansas City fan. Like
when I I'm telling you and I turned on the
t every news station had it on. Everyone is wearing red,
and I'm like, wow, they're going all in with red.
Speaker 3 (02:42):
Our weather guy Jason Michael up there on w TV
giving the weather right red.
Speaker 5 (02:47):
Tie right, Okay, there he is, Jason.
Speaker 2 (02:54):
Wearing a red sweater.
Speaker 3 (02:56):
What's that? Oh, Paul is in red and Chris to
not has a red time. Yes, so they got the memo.
We did not, We didn't. I don't Most people don't
really look good in red.
Speaker 2 (03:08):
I don't. I really don't think it's my color.
Speaker 3 (03:10):
I don't think I own anything really red. Yeah, I
don't own anything red.
Speaker 2 (03:14):
I wear red lipsticks sometimes, does that.
Speaker 3 (03:17):
Taylor wears it like every minister.
Speaker 2 (03:19):
That's like your own color. Now, that's like the Taylor Red.
Speaker 3 (03:22):
Do you think they named it National Wear Red Day
in honor of the Chiefs. Again.
Speaker 2 (03:27):
It looked like everyone was a Chiefs fan this morning.
Speaker 3 (03:30):
Yeah we have any red? Oh, there's Paula and Red.
Do we have any red in the building we can
all put on. I mean I heard right, the floor
is red. I don't really know why this is.
Speaker 5 (03:40):
Why are we talking about this?
Speaker 3 (03:41):
I have no idea.
Speaker 5 (03:42):
By the way, in our behind the scenes meetings, radio
meetings in like the you know, the secret rooms that
we have to meet, the number like two thing was
we don't talk about the national things. Yeah? Oh really, Yeah,
you know you weren't paying attention. No, yeah, we don't
addrust those things. Oh so we should never even mention
national whatever it was. It was low on the list
(04:03):
of things that people care about.
Speaker 6 (04:05):
Okay, I mean, it's not on my list at all.
It doesn't even make my talk. I don't even twenty five.
Speaker 2 (04:09):
I'm worrying all black.
Speaker 3 (04:13):
That could be making a statement of its own.
Speaker 2 (04:15):
It's easy, it's easy.
Speaker 3 (04:17):
Are we allowed to acknowledge the national anthem?
Speaker 5 (04:21):
Yes? Okay, But you know what the good news is, Bill,
this is your show and Lisa's show, so you can
talk about whatever you want.
Speaker 3 (04:27):
So as long as I get clearance from Lisa, it's
good to go. Yes, all right. I want to mention
the NFL Honors. We're going to play a lot of
what happened last night at the NFL Honors. But a
lot of people have been anticipating who would get the MVP.
It's Josh Allen. We're going to hear from Josh Allen
and Bill and Jordan were in the craft. Yeah they were.
Speaker 2 (04:46):
Yeah, there's a lot to talk about there too.
Speaker 3 (04:48):
A lot to unpack. Yes, are they engaged.
Speaker 2 (04:52):
Or are they not engaged?
Speaker 4 (04:54):
There are a lot of rings, a lot of bling
away from this one.
Speaker 3 (04:59):
What's the rule rings? So if it's not an engagement ring,
do you have to wear it on a different finger?
Speaker 4 (05:06):
I think you can do whatever you want. But they
were both wearing lots of rings.
Speaker 3 (05:11):
Bill Belichick was wearing a lot of rings. Well, he's
wearing a super Bowl that's lame he wore the super
Bowl rings. I mean, oh, it is such a flex. Yeah,
why doesn't he just carry the trophies in with him
to see.
Speaker 6 (05:26):
Billy says this, but if he is super Bowl ring,
he'd wear any He has a World Series ring that
fake one.
Speaker 3 (05:33):
No it isn't. It's a real ring. It's in a
beautiful case. You open the case and it lights up.
It's very cool. Oh yeah, it's a museum piece.
Speaker 5 (05:41):
All right, before we go, we have an update here
before Okay, good good.
Speaker 3 (05:44):
Morning morning crew.
Speaker 7 (05:46):
I just wanted to make a comment on the National
Wear Red Day today.
Speaker 8 (05:49):
It is for heart health, so it's not just some
lame day. It is to bring awareness to heart disease
and part health.
Speaker 5 (05:56):
Thank you so much.
Speaker 3 (05:57):
This is amazing. We are not supposed to do any
national all right, we just ruined the entire day. Okay,
what is wrong?
Speaker 5 (06:07):
I'm gonna get an email at ten o'clock this morning,
justin can you send me audio from the first segment
of your little radio show.
Speaker 3 (06:13):
Oh my, we had a meeting and no it's we
didn't know. And now we're all about see Winny, eat
your cheerios. We're all about National Wear Red Day because
it's art.
Speaker 2 (06:24):
Day exactly heart health.
Speaker 5 (06:26):
You know. We'll come back and we'll play all heart songs.
Speaker 3 (06:28):
How's that?
Speaker 5 (06:29):

Speaker 3 (06:29):

Speaker 3 (06:51):

Just a quick one, possibly, yeah, possibly, if I beg.
Speaker 5 (06:56):
I mean, I have a ton here. We're running late.
But if you want to check in and say hi,
we appreciiate that. Just say what's up? What up?
Speaker 3 (07:02):
What you?
Speaker 9 (07:04):
What?
Speaker 10 (07:04):
What?
Speaker 5 (07:05):
What up?
Speaker 11 (07:05):
Yo?
Speaker 12 (07:06):
How you doing?
Speaker 5 (07:08):

Speaker 3 (07:09):
I want to know if you get my message, my
voice message, please let me know.
Speaker 12 (07:14):
Played a few times with a case.
Speaker 5 (07:16):
I miss it.
Speaker 2 (07:17):
Now the entertainment updates with the.
Speaker 3 (07:20):
Billy Cots up. Oh, we certainly got it. What you
all right? Here we go Super Bowl weekend, Chiefs and
the Eagles Sunday night, six thirty kickoff. Massive security in
place in New Orleans. Thousands of officers. Roads are all
barricaded and blocked off. They've got helicopters going to be
(07:42):
flying in the sky in the air over the football field.
Secret Service is there now because President Trump will be
at the game on Sunday. Travis Kelcey and Patrick Mahomes
on playing in front of the.
Speaker 10 (07:55):
President's always cool to be able to play in front
of a sitting president, someone that is at the top
position in our country. It's cool to hear that he's
seen me play football and respects of the game that
I play.
Speaker 5 (08:09):
That's awesome. It's a great honor.
Speaker 13 (08:10):
I think, you know, no matter who the president is,
I know I'm excited because it's the biggest game of
my life, you know, and having the president there, you know,
it's the best country in the world, so it'd be
pretty cool.
Speaker 3 (08:23):
There we go. Kendrick Lamar will do the halftime show.
He met with the media on what we can expect storytelling.
Speaker 12 (08:30):
I think I've always been very open about storytelling through
all my catalog and my history of music, and I've
always had a passion about bringing that on whatever stage
I'm on, you know, where there's a war tour or
whether it's five hundred people at Key Club. I've always
(08:51):
had a form of there. So I like, you know,
in that sense of you know, make people listen but
also see and think a little.
Speaker 3 (08:59):
And its storytelling. The big buzz question this morning, will
he do the Drake disc song?
Speaker 12 (09:07):
Not like us, intent was to always keep I think
from day one was to always keep the nature of
it as a sport. I love when when artists grit
their teeth, Like I still watch battle raps. This has
always been the core definition of who I am, and
it's been there way since day one. So I don't
think it was a thing for this year. It was
always just a continuum what will say about this year.
(09:29):
It was more from a space where I think a
lot of people was putting rap to the back and
you didn't see that. You didn't see that grit, you
didn't see that bite anymore. So I always took that
in consideration and going into any type of my music.
Speaker 5 (09:43):
Yeah, he didn't answer whether he will or not. He
talked about the feud and like you know, going back
and forth. Yeah, but they are saying he's going to
do it.
Speaker 2 (09:52):
It was a song of the year, record of the year.
He has to do it.
Speaker 5 (09:55):
You just don't know if you think he's going to
use the you know, the controversial parts.
Speaker 7 (09:58):
Right.
Speaker 3 (09:58):
Well, he gave his play list yesterday, supposedly to the
NFL and to Fox and they were supposed to make
the final decision. I haven't heard anything from that.
Speaker 4 (10:08):
Yeah, I've looked online, nothing's out there, but will The
question is will he do bad Blood?
Speaker 2 (10:15):
I'm telling you, and will Taylor hop up on stage?
Speaker 3 (10:18):
That would actually be cool.
Speaker 2 (10:20):
That would be the coolest thing of all time.
Speaker 5 (10:21):
He also has a collaboration with Maroon five, so he
could do that too. You know, they are floating Travis
Scott's name.
Speaker 2 (10:28):
Out and you know who else? Doci?
Speaker 5 (10:31):
Oh yeah, would voting.
Speaker 2 (10:34):
Her name because he does really like her.
Speaker 3 (10:36):
So can I vote that it not be Adam Levine?
Is it too late to get my vote in?
Speaker 2 (10:44):
But I actually like that theory?
Speaker 5 (10:46):
Yeah, Well, it's funny because when Maroon five did the
Super Bowl, they brought out Travis Scott. Yes, so ah,
will the world be chanting a miner? That's the big.
Speaker 3 (10:56):
Question the stadium for sure. If he does the song.
Speaker 2 (11:00):
I'd love to see my parents who will be watching
the Super Bowl.
Speaker 3 (11:03):
Saying post Malone is going to do the tailgate party
on Sunday. We're going to carry it on all iHeart stations,
including right here on Kiss one.
Speaker 5 (11:17):
I wait.
Speaker 3 (11:17):
That kicks off at four o'clock Sunday. NFL honors last night,
the naming of the NFL VP this season, and that
honor went to Josh Allen of the bull we.
Speaker 14 (11:29):
Got such a great locker room in Buffalo, and it
takes everybody from the equipment staff to the training room,
to the strength staff, to Slick Rick in the mailroom,
to the cafeteria upstairs. Like it truly takes everybody to
half team success. And I'm so fortunate to be a
part of a great organization.
Speaker 3 (11:47):
This new posted the NFL Honors last night, and he
managed a shot at Bill Belichick, who was in the
audience with his girlfriend Jordan Here at coms.
Speaker 15 (11:57):
Have I been a football fan for a long long time.
I mean, I remember back when the Cowboys was good,
I remember back when the Chiefs was bad.
Speaker 3 (12:10):
And I remember Bill Belichick's girlfriend, Whinning Born. Yet yeah, okay,
here's the question of the morning. Are they engaged?
Speaker 4 (12:21):
She had a ring on, Lisa, She did have a
ring on. I think it was her cheerleading ring. She
had several rings on. Okay, hold it right there, she
has I lost the picture of her in her dress.
Speaker 3 (12:31):
There's such a thing as a cheerleading ring.
Speaker 4 (12:33):
Well, I went on her Instagram and she posted a
story about the ring.
Speaker 2 (12:38):
Oh and she mentioned Bridgewater State.
Speaker 11 (12:40):
Yep.
Speaker 4 (12:41):
Okay, so I think it could be because he was
wearing his Super Bowl rings.
Speaker 3 (12:45):
R's right, Bridgewater State were the national champion.
Speaker 4 (12:48):
She had another ring next to it. Everyone speculating is
some sort of engagement rings.
Speaker 5 (12:53):
What are your thoughts?
Speaker 3 (12:54):
I've got that. That was really smoothe any thoughts?
Speaker 5 (13:02):
Nothing?
Speaker 3 (13:02):
No, no, no, you're backing off the mic. By the way,
a couple of polls out this morning. Forty eight percent
of Americans will watch the game, twenty nine percent want
the Eagles to win, twenty two percent pulling for the
Chiefs and just don't care. So there and it's new
music Friday. I care about that? What have you got?
Jeff Well?
Speaker 5 (13:19):
Thank you so much, Bill Well. Lady Gaga permitte a
new song during the Grammy's her next single from her
album Mayhem that'll be out next month. It's called Aberkadabra.
Another dance record.
Speaker 3 (13:40):
You know, it's almost like Gaga has a language all
to herself. Nanas and wildwas and guys and yeah, I
don't know. It sounds like all the other Gaga songs.
Speaker 5 (13:57):
And next the one time, but I make a little
mashupra ra. How about this collaboration Lisa from Black Pink.
She has a new album of solo project with Doja
Cat and Ray three Powerful Women. It's called Born Again.
Speaker 2 (14:20):
From It.
Speaker 3 (14:33):
Is that your jam of the week?
Speaker 5 (14:35):
I think so?
Speaker 3 (14:36):
I like that.
Speaker 2 (14:37):
I love that.
Speaker 11 (14:38):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (14:38):
I got to hear the full song. So Ray's so good,
really good.
Speaker 2 (14:42):
Yeah, she was amazing the Grammys.
Speaker 3 (14:44):
Is that it okay? That's I didn't meet anything by it.
I didn't want to know you had another one.
Speaker 5 (14:51):
You want to go back to the NFL honor.
Speaker 3 (14:52):
That honor went to Josh Allen of the Ball. But
I didn't say that, Yes you did. I did, Yes,
you did. Justin and I looked together instantly, you know
about you went to Josh Allen of the Ball.
Speaker 2 (15:04):
It's okay.
Speaker 3 (15:04):
I think I told you back on Monday. I have
a bit of a brain fog.
Speaker 5 (15:09):
Yes you do.
Speaker 3 (15:10):
If we had said something, can you let it go?
Are you're just judging me?
Speaker 13 (15:15):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (15:15):
You just he just waiting for me to make a mistake.
Speaker 6 (15:17):
I want to see you Carrestleward with the ant report, Whinnie.
Speaker 3 (15:20):
We work so hot on that. No, I know it's
real because I got your real reaction to it. There
we go, Hey, Kelly Clarkson, laun't you I didn't say
that I think I rolled my tongue. Let's that's it again,
that it went to Josh Allen.
Speaker 5 (15:40):
Of the Bowl.
Speaker 3 (15:41):
We never have to hear that. I so helped me,
justin so helped me to be fair.
Speaker 6 (15:47):
The bill is a bowl, isn't it. I'll give you
you know that the buffalo bill.
Speaker 5 (15:55):
You switching sides on me?
Speaker 10 (15:56):
Thank you?
Speaker 2 (15:57):
I'm sorry. I just love that.
Speaker 3 (16:00):
I don't know if a buffalo bill, I don't know.
I have a lot to unpack in these years. You
know what I'm talking about.
Speaker 5 (16:05):
I'm sorry.
Speaker 3 (16:06):
Go ahead, you know you're gonna play.
Speaker 5 (16:08):
Oh ye, my hands off.
Speaker 3 (16:09):
Kelly Clarkson is launching a new Vegas residency. It will
start July fourth, eighteen shows the Coliseum at Caesar's. And
very quickly, is there a new twist now? And that
Blake Lively thing with Justin Baldoni les I guess a
pr for issuing her really quickly.
Speaker 6 (16:26):
We do need to wrap up. But Taylor Swift allegedly
is very mad. TMZ report yesterday that she was brought
into this by Blake and Ryan when she hadn't wanted
enoughing to do with that.
Speaker 3 (16:35):
They allegedly staged a.
Speaker 6 (16:36):
Meeting with Justin, Ryan and Blake, and Blake asked Taylor
to come over when the meeting was over and Taylor
had no ID issues, said Hi, Justina, Yes, allegedly.
Speaker 2 (16:48):
That's what I've been saying. Yeah, it's kind of a
fake relationship.
Speaker 6 (16:52):
If you listen to if you watch Game of Thrones,
she compare prepared Ryan and Taylor as her dragons.
Speaker 3 (16:58):
Ooh, and she's Kale. See.
Speaker 5 (17:00):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (17:00):

From the Planet Fitness. Kiss one Away Studios. We're back
with Villy and Lisa in the morning.
Speaker 3 (17:33):
Kiss and welcome back everybody. Happy Friday morning to you,
happy start of the Super Bowl weekend. The storm yesterday
was kind of a dud least, but we have another
one coming in tomorrow night, yes.
Speaker 4 (17:44):
Into Sunday, four to eight inches potentially.
Speaker 3 (17:48):
Well, man, here we go, is this gonna be the
real deal? This time?
Speaker 2 (17:51):
We're in a pattern, That's what they keep saying. We're
in a pattern.
Speaker 5 (17:55):
And then another one maybe next week. Storm and Michael
told us storms and back to back to back.
Speaker 11 (18:01):
God.
Speaker 3 (18:01):
Okay. So we started something last year on the Billy
and Lisa Morning Show that we really really love doing.
We call it our Local Legends and at LISTA explain
what the mission is for this.
Speaker 4 (18:12):
So the mission we have is that we want to celebrate.
We want to highlight someone who's doing an amazing thing,
and you can nominate that person. That person can be
a teacher, a nurse, a crossing guard, someone in your family,
someone that deserves attention for what they're doing, for what
they're giving back. So that's what Local Legends is. And
(18:32):
we have met some incredible people on our journey.
Speaker 3 (18:35):
And our search for a local legend took all of
us and by the way, we all the entire morning show.
We go out and we find the local legend and
surprise them, and it brought us to mass General Hospital
in Boston. Woman was nominated by Hannah Dickerson at the
hospital and our honoree this Friday is Christine McCarthy who
(18:56):
was a medical ICU nurse for over twenty years and
then recently switched to Pallady of Care and which is
a tough gig and she does it every day and
everybody in the room. There must have been a couple
one hundred people there to celebrate her. And again, she
was totally surprised. You can hear it in the crowd
because the minute we walked in and announced what we
(19:17):
were there for, the crowd went nuts, right.
Speaker 5 (19:25):
I mean, they had their whole PR team there, doctors, nurses,
you know, administration was It was incredible.
Speaker 4 (19:32):
It was incredible. She is so loved by MGH. You
can really feel it.
Speaker 3 (19:38):
Yeah, everybody in the room was telling us stories about
how special Christine McCarthy was and is and continues to
do the job. But she does it every day, and
she does it with a smile, and they say she
brings a ray of sunshine into the room every time
she enters.
Speaker 5 (19:52):
And they told her that they lied to her and
told her that she had a meeting, so she didn't
know she was calling in and like getting fired or
getting a promotion.
Speaker 4 (20:00):
Well, we were in the conference room where like all
the big meetings happen. So I wonder what was going
through her mind.
Speaker 3 (20:05):
I think she might have thought she was being dismissed,
but instead we honored her as our local legend. And
we couldn't do it without Harvard Pilgrim Healthcare. Okay, they
helped put this segment together for us, and we try
to find a local legend every week and try to
feature it every single Friday morning on the show. And
people can still nominate right justin or alitsa.
Speaker 4 (20:26):
Yeah, they can just go to kiss oneway dot com
slash legend and tell us why someone in your life
needs to be a local legend.
Speaker 3 (20:33):
So this week, this Friday morning start of Super Bowl weekend,
we celebrate Christine McCarthy. You are our local legend on
the Billion Lisa Mornings.
Speaker 5 (20:43):
And if you're listening to this right now, this is
we need your help. You know, who are these people,
who are these these heroes, these legends in our community.
That's who you want to nominate. Be very specific when
you write the little blurb, who they are, what they do,
where you are. Give us the whole story, because you
never know we might show up.
Speaker 3 (21:01):
And you know what else in school, almost everybody in
the room listen to the show. Yeah, we walked in
and say, oh my god, I can't believe you guys
are here. We listened to the show. And then she
walks in. She says, oh my god, I listened to
the show every morning and it was it was perfect.
It was great.
Speaker 5 (21:13):
The one lady that was guiding us around the hospital
said to me at one point, she goes, Wow, Whinny
really is and how she is in real life on
the radio.
Speaker 3 (21:21):
What does that mean?
Speaker 5 (21:24):
All right, super More weekend is here. I have a
fun little game to play along with as you drive
to work or listening at home. You can join us
in this super Bowl game. We'll do that in three minutes.
Speaker 3 (21:34):
I'll kiss went awaits kiss went Await. Okay, justin We've
got a game, right.
Speaker 5 (21:41):
Well, it's day time.
Speaker 3 (21:43):
It's paying time, baby, daytime, though, I'll be there.
Speaker 5 (21:46):
That's a big time. So everyone's buzzing about the halftime
performance this weekend, Kendrick Lamar. But then you have the
national anthem as well, which is always a big deal too.
There's a lot of memorable ones over the years, so
that's gonna be the game today. I pulled all the
best ones, so I'll play a short clip of the
anthem and you tell me who It is pretty easy.
Speaker 3 (22:04):
So are these the most viewed anthems?
Speaker 5 (22:06):
These are the most memorable national anthems? Not just at
the super Bowl, these are at big sporting events.
Speaker 3 (22:11):
Oh boy?
Speaker 5 (22:12):
Okay, yeah. So basically just listening to the voice and
try to tell me who the artist is. And for
bonus points, if you want to guess the year, I'll
give you a bonus point. How's that? Okay, listen closely.
We know all of these artists and people. Lisa Europe first.
Speaker 2 (22:29):
That's Whitney Houston nineteen ninety one the year.
Speaker 3 (22:33):
Oh my god, yes, Lisa, I know we need the year.
Speaker 6 (22:38):
No, it's a bonus so good.
Speaker 3 (22:43):
Can I tell you, like what week where it was
she was wearing a tracksuit?
Speaker 5 (22:47):
I did see that performance in the Whitney movie. Yes,
they showed it. Yeah, yeah, it was.
Speaker 3 (22:53):
It's to this day considered the best anthem of all time.
Speaker 2 (22:55):
And it still brings chills.
Speaker 5 (22:57):
And I learned also that she wore a track suit.
They didn't want her to wear a track so now
they want her to get dressed up and she said, no,
I want to look normal, like a normal person.
Speaker 11 (23:05):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (23:06):
It was so impactful.
Speaker 5 (23:07):
Yeah, all right, mister Costa, here we go, Top National Anthems.
Can you guess who this is? What's your what's your guest?
Speaker 3 (23:22):
Beyonce?
Speaker 2 (23:23):
I know who it is. It's Mariah Carrey, that's.
Speaker 5 (23:25):
Right, Lisa. Okay, I don't.
Speaker 2 (23:28):
Know what the year?
Speaker 3 (23:29):
Why do I play these games? I mean no, really, Wind,
can you just I host the game? You were so
confident too, I'm a game host. That was two thousand
and two. Mariah, Like, if I host, you'll know the
music and like it's just.
Speaker 5 (23:42):
If you would like that, we can do that next game.
Speaker 3 (23:45):
You can host.
Speaker 5 (23:45):
This is humiliating, Okay, okay, okay, Winnie, are you ready?
Speaker 3 (23:49):
Yes?
Speaker 5 (23:50):
Top National Anthems? Can you tell me who this is?
Speaker 3 (23:55):
Pink Pink?
Speaker 5 (24:01):
Any guesses on the year?
Speaker 3 (24:03):
Oh, two thousand and thirteen?
Speaker 5 (24:06):
It is twenty eighteen. Yeah, that's a hard that's the
hard part. It's hard to guess the year.
Speaker 3 (24:13):
But what it's like every time you go to Lisa
or when he's like you're piling on you is sitting
in my seat? Okay, it's a pile every time we
play these games, has the most recognizing, one of the
most recognizable. Okay, if he played it a little bit
further into the anthem, I would have recognized it. That's Mariah.
Speaker 5 (24:31):
Can we move to round two?
Speaker 3 (24:32):
Sure?
Speaker 5 (24:32):
Okay, round two of top national anthems because the super
Bowl is this weekend, obviously, Lisa Ariana Grande. Yeah, he
was that the wow. Okay, yeah, Lisa, sorry, I don't know. Yeah,
it's just just throw it a year.
Speaker 4 (24:50):
Two thousands, twenty and sixteen fourteen.
Speaker 3 (24:57):
I was close.
Speaker 5 (24:57):
Yeah, you were close, tiny little person with a giant
That was a big year for Arianna because she also
did the White House performance that oh yeah, and and
she did our Kiss concert that was huge in twenty fourteen.
There you go, all right, Bill, here we go. You
gotta get you on the board here top national anthems.

the year, Bill?
Speaker 3 (25:27):

Speaker 5 (25:28):
And you guess? They just famous? Two thousand and one, close,
nineteen ninety Yeah.
Speaker 3 (25:37):
Roseanne Barr was really famous.
Speaker 5 (25:39):
In like the early I know two thousand and one.
She was already a show person.
Speaker 3 (25:43):
Yeah, I wasn't even alive and I knew that.
Speaker 5 (25:47):
Oh, she's crazier than ever. She has a new rat
video that just came out.
Speaker 3 (25:50):
Music video, very trumpy.
Speaker 5 (25:52):
Now she's she's definitely out there. Yeah for sure? All right?
When here we go listen close?
Speaker 3 (26:02):
Is this my best Lady Gaga? It is like she
has to sing it in cursive?
Speaker 5 (26:07):
Actually does that that?
Speaker 3 (26:10):
Yeah, she sounded like she was like in France. I
just realized that because didn't she do something weird in
France during the Olympics where she suddenly believed that she
was French? Right, I'm not making this up, but it
sounds like how when he impersonates her a little pitch.
Speaker 2 (26:29):
God, it sounds awful.
Speaker 3 (26:31):
I would have gone for a beer right there, me too.
Around here, Lisa, you lead here, you got four? Bill
has one when he has two final round top national
anthems Lisa christ.
Speaker 5 (26:50):
Anyone want to steal?
Speaker 3 (26:52):
That's a hard one. That's a really hard.
Speaker 5 (26:54):
It's in the third round.
Speaker 6 (26:58):
It's Billy Joel Oh little Joe girl.
Speaker 2 (27:02):
You know what, I would have needed a little bit
more like Jill.
Speaker 5 (27:07):
It's gonna say, don't get on the Billy Road here,
I'm not that was nineteen eighty nine. Oh my god,
way back?
Speaker 3 (27:12):
Wow?
Speaker 5 (27:13):
All right, Bill, how about this one? I seal the
old what do you put your hand?
Speaker 7 (27:23):
Now?
Speaker 3 (27:23):
No, I couldn't hear it. I had it to share, Yeah,
says it share. I showed her screaming over it.
Speaker 2 (27:32):
All right, good for you.
Speaker 5 (27:34):
Good for you, Bill. And he guesses on the year
what And he guesses on the year dabbing.
Speaker 3 (27:42):
A year. I'm gonna say ninety four.
Speaker 5 (27:45):
Oh, now, nineteen ninety nine.
Speaker 3 (27:47):
That was good.
Speaker 2 (27:47):
Guess the nineties.
Speaker 3 (27:49):
Yeah, I partied like it was nineteen ninety nine. But
go ahead, Whinnie, you.
Speaker 5 (27:52):
Got one more last one?
Speaker 3 (27:58):
Kelly clarkson, Yeah, very good, Kelly carkson.
Speaker 5 (28:03):
Wow. She took the lead there from your Bill took
second place when Lisa one with four, Billy with two,
winning with three.
Speaker 3 (28:10):
Okay, first of all, I have a grievance to file
on the game. The game grievance When do you get
to look at all this stuff before? And you're not
going to deny that you get a look at all this.
Speaker 5 (28:23):
She doesn't.
Speaker 3 (28:23):
I never do.
Speaker 5 (28:25):
John Batist is doing the national anthem on Sunday, so
we'll see that he's really good. Yep, yeah, And topic
time is coming up next and the topic is, well,
the super Bowl, Right, guys, you know what's your favorite
super Bowl performance? National anthem? What are you doing for
the super Bowl? Are you having a party? Are there
people coming to your house and you're annoyed? We're talking
all in super Bowl six one seven, nine, one one
(28:48):
away or hit me on the talk back mic on
the iHeart after just tap that red microphone. Topic time
is next.
Speaker 1 (28:53):
Now it's topic time with Billy and Lisa in the.
Speaker 3 (28:57):
Morning and the topic, of course is the super Bowl
and why not this is a super Bowl weekend. We
kicked off a talk at topic earlier this morning. We
actually had a game best anthems or anthems you remember
the most from the super Bowl? You can call in
on that if you want. How about this? Are you
hosting a super Bowl party? Are you going to a
super Bowl party? Have you been to a super Bowl?
(29:21):
We'd like to hear your stories and do you have
a favorite super Bowl moment? We'll take any of it.
Let's start with Kelly. She's calling in from situate. Good morning, Kelly,
super Bowl? What have you got Hi?
Speaker 17 (29:32):
Guys, how are you the best national anthem ever, hands down,
Whitney Houston. There wasn't a dry eye. Everybody was crying.
It was emotional. When you think of the national anthem,
you think of Whitney Houston singing that with her absolutely
beautiful voice.
Speaker 3 (29:48):
Yeah, I think she's considered the best anthem of all time,
and rightfully so. I don't think there's been one even
to come close to touching it, right Lise, I mean, Whitney,
how are you going to beat that?
Speaker 18 (29:57):
Now?
Speaker 2 (29:57):
It was like chilling every time you see it and
every time you hear it.
Speaker 3 (30:01):
And right now the mayor of the South End would
like to weigh in. Every time we have a question,
he's got an answer our good morning, Mayor, Yeah.
Speaker 19 (30:08):
Don't be that way. Half time show I've ever seen,
Remember the one where Diana Ross after she performed, she
left the stadium waving from a white helicopter. Remember they
strapped her into the helicopter and she's waving to the
crowd and and she's trying to get the helicopter blades
(30:29):
to like blowing the hair in her face. That was
the gay thing I've ever seen.
Speaker 3 (30:34):
I'm gonna tell you though, Mayor, like leave it to you,
Diana Ross. I would have expected that from me, but
you're exactly right. That was a unique national anthem. She
leaves in the hell.
Speaker 5 (30:44):
That was nineteen ninety six. By the way, the mayor
of the South End is Oh, he's gone, he dropped.
Oh I wanted to talk to him for a minute. Well,
it seems like he might have some competition here. Oh yeah,
in twenty five, someone's coming for him.
Speaker 7 (31:01):
Good morning, It's twenty twenty five. Talkbacker of the Year
lies in Fairytales, Chris. I'm recording live from Logan Airport,
where I'm off to Vegas for the weekend. So as
soon as I land, I have broun Chetli Savander Pump's restaurant. Tonight,
I'm seeing Queen Mariah at the MGN. Tomorrow I'm seeing
Rupon's Drag Race live. So while I'm doing the math correctly,
(31:23):
I believe that means that this weekend I will be
gayer than the mayor.
Speaker 18 (31:27):
Of the.
Speaker 3 (31:29):
A I gotta tell you, though, that's quite a weekend
right there.
Speaker 5 (31:33):
And the mayor is jealous, trustful. Oh yeah, oh yeah,
he'll be checking back in, don't worry.
Speaker 16 (31:38):
Hands down, the best Super Bowl performance isn't always will be,
Prince ooh, maybe it was amazing.
Speaker 5 (31:46):
I was just watching some video of that performance and
it was incredible.
Speaker 3 (31:50):
I'm going to tell you, Prince in the Revolution one
of the greatest concerts I've ever ever seen. What a band,
what a performance. I mean, it was amazing.
Speaker 11 (31:58):
Yeah, Prince, My favorite halftime show was with Janet Jackson
when she had a.
Speaker 3 (32:13):
Wardrobe milk function.
Speaker 16 (32:15):
And the funny part was, back then you couldn't go
back and rewatch things unless you had TiVo. If you
remember that, Oh, we couldn't believe our eyes and kept
going back.
Speaker 2 (32:28):
It's so true. It was in two thousand and four
with Justin Timberlake.
Speaker 3 (32:33):
And there's still speculation as to whether or not that
was planned in advance, or if it happened accidentally, or
if Justin did it on well.
Speaker 4 (32:43):
Janet took a lot of heat for it, and in
her latest documentary she talked all about it and how
I think she's patched things up with Justin Timberlake. But
they were kind of estranged for a while because it
got really weird, don't you remember.
Speaker 6 (32:56):
Yes, got you kind of feel like, you know, it
was kind of his fall, and she took the heat right. Yeah,
and he never really, I guess apologized to her.
Speaker 2 (33:05):
And it was weird.
Speaker 3 (33:06):
A lot of people came down on Justin too, Yeah,
but as a woman, and.
Speaker 2 (33:10):
I took it very personally.
Speaker 6 (33:11):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (33:12):
And it was her boob. Yeah, and you're in front
of the world. Hey, can you imagine you're walking around
with your you know, boob out? Why would I be
doing that?
Speaker 4 (33:22):
I don't know.
Speaker 5 (33:24):
That changed a lot of things with the FCC. Yeah,
they cracked down a lot on different things. And you know,
there's things that we can't say on the air. Yeah,
oh yeah, even though Bill still does.
Speaker 3 (33:33):
But he does. But it is the most remembered halftime show.
Speaker 5 (33:37):
Does anyone remember the first big halftime show? The first
performers that were you know commercial was it Michael? It
was not Michael, It was apparently Bill's old friends.
Speaker 8 (33:48):
One time listener here, you asked about the best super
Bowl performance, I would have to say it's the inaugural
one with new.
Speaker 3 (33:56):
Kids on the block.
Speaker 8 (33:57):
How can you not have our Homeboys be your favorite
of all time? You didn't know what to expect, they
came out, they performed, and the rest is history. Now
we have fabulous performances every single year.
Speaker 3 (34:09):
Wait a minute, is she suggesting that the New Kids
were the first performers, like after the marching bands were canceled?
That's what She's not possible, that's what she said. Arry Manilow,
didn't he do a halftime show?
Speaker 5 (34:22):
I'm not sure.
Speaker 3 (34:23):
I know he did an anthem?
Speaker 4 (34:24):
Can I give a shout out to the Katy Perry
halftime show with the Dancing Sharks?
Speaker 9 (34:30):
Oh?
Speaker 4 (34:30):
Yeah, because the only reason I remember it was because
we were in it. The Patriots were in it, and
we went to a huge Super Bowl party one of
our friend's houses. I mean there must have been one
hundred people there and everyone was watching the Katy Perry
performance like we were Mesmeris I remember remember that?
Speaker 3 (34:46):
I think I was at a house party, and I
do remember again.
Speaker 2 (34:49):
Yeah, I shout out to her.
Speaker 3 (34:51):
Yeah, I love that.
Speaker 6 (34:52):
Bruno Mars is my favorite's favorite.
Speaker 9 (34:56):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (34:57):
Yeah, I'm trying to find if the New Kids were
the first one. I thought it was Michael.
Speaker 3 (35:01):
I thought it was Michael. Yeah I don't. But you
imagine the New Kids as the inaugural halftime. Those blockheads
are crazy. Oh yeah, no, I'm not saying it would
be bad.
Speaker 6 (35:11):
They ride so hard, like they're like Grandma's now and
they're just.
Speaker 3 (35:15):
Like they were not but one they were the inaugural.
By the way, heads up, we are going to be
doing something that I can't talk about yet with Joey McIntyre.
Speaker 5 (35:23):
Why are we talking about.
Speaker 3 (35:25):
Yeah, I'm just saying I'm giving people heads up beyond
the lookout major event with Joey from the New Kids.
Speaker 2 (35:31):
I love Joey. Yeah, I got in the super Bowl.
Speaker 5 (35:41):
That was the super Bowl. It's the inaugurals. According to
the talkbacker it is. I have not confirmed yet. I
don't know.
Speaker 6 (35:49):
Let's know, it wouldn't have been like what eighty nine
nineties It looks like, right, yeah, so we just have
to find the eighty eight performance you know it was.
But I believe Michael was like in like the nineties,
like ninety one maybe or not.
Speaker 3 (36:01):
Well, the New Kids big in eighty eight, Yes, weren't you? Yes,
they were huge.
Speaker 5 (36:06):
So the New Kids did in nineteen ninety one.
Speaker 3 (36:08):
Oh they did ninety one. I swear Michael was.
Speaker 5 (36:10):
It was the same game that Whitney Houston saying yeah, wow,
who really am?
Speaker 3 (36:16):
Oh that's great information. So Whitney did the anthem and
the New Kids were the halftime so they weren't the
inaugural No, well.
Speaker 5 (36:23):
No they were. They were. Michael Jackson was ninety three.
Speaker 3 (36:26):
Oh, I never knew that. Yeah, okay, six new member
of the New Kids. No, but what an amazing bragging right.
We were the very first Super Bowl halftime perform All
over this, I like that. We get Joey on the phone.
Speaker 9 (36:42):
The best halftime show in recent years, and I'm not
a fan of hers, so I just but I think
it was the actual best performance and she actually could sing.
Was Katy Perry. So a lot of them lately have
been like woh wall, but hers was actually really good
and very impressive, So I would have my favorite of
the most recent years. Although I did love to get
(37:04):
together with Mary J. Blige and Eminem and Ludacris. That
one was amazing, but the whole show wasn't the best.
Speaker 3 (37:11):
All right, Let's go to Adrian. Adrian's checking in from Natick. Oh,
I drove through Natick on my way to nowhere yesterday. Adrian,
Good morning, what do you think super Bowl memories? Whatever?
Good morning?
Speaker 19 (37:23):
Well, someone just stole mine, but that's all right. The
Doctor Drake's new dog. That was just incredible. Eminem I
just love that. But I didn't know is it true
that the new Kids were the first ever heard?
Speaker 2 (37:37):
I think we just confirmed it.
Speaker 19 (37:38):
Yeah, that's incredible. I was like, no, way, that's true.
Speaker 3 (37:44):
You get that sort of mac Yeah, real quick before
we wrap up. You know, we did have the Mayor
on earlier and.
Speaker 6 (37:51):
Then we had lies and Fairies shows Chris Collin, Who's
who's gayer?
Speaker 3 (37:55):
So I think the mayor wants to always going to outgay?
Speaker 5 (37:58):
The show is so gay. Yeah, I love it.
Speaker 3 (38:02):
Good morning, Mayor, welcome back.
Speaker 19 (38:04):
You know, when you're on top, everyone likes to take
a shot.
Speaker 3 (38:08):
Billy.
Speaker 19 (38:08):
You know this.
Speaker 3 (38:09):
You are the Kansas City chiefs issue.
Speaker 19 (38:11):
Yeah, let me tell you. I once went to a
Super Bowl party where they served drinks wearing jockstraps, wearing
a helmet, serving the pigs on a blanket. You can't
get much gayer than that.
Speaker 3 (38:25):
Okay, wait a minute, Wait a minute, what were the
helmets for?
Speaker 19 (38:29):
Because it was a super Bowl party?
Speaker 3 (38:31):
Okay, it was something else. Yeah, you know what we
have to say about that mayor In.
Speaker 2 (38:36):
Fairytale, Billy every morning just went to wait.
Speaker 3 (38:41):
Okay. One of the highlights of the Billy and Lisa
Morning Shows. At the end of each hour, Justin recaps
what you may have missed and we count the minutes
until we can hear this justin just so you.
Speaker 5 (38:51):
Know, thank you so much.
Speaker 3 (38:52):
I love it.
Speaker 5 (38:53):
I know you do. Winny. It's it's a little wrapper.
Speaker 3 (38:55):
It's my little rapper. Let's go.
Speaker 5 (38:56):

what you're doing, say you're listening in your car and

nurse that works at Mass General. We went and surprised
her earlier this week, gave her a little prize, but
most importantly said thank you for the hard work that

Speaker 3 (40:08):
And she was an awesome lady. A lot of people
turned out, yeah.
Speaker 5 (40:13):
Packed, It was very lovely and we just did our topic.
Speaker 13 (40:16):
Time.
Speaker 5 (40:16):
We played a super Bowl game, but I'm talking about
the biggest performance. Isn't just a super Bowl in general?
What are you doing? You having a party? You're excited?
Speaker 3 (40:23):
Listen. Unless the Patriots turned the Super Bowl, I really
could care less. I'm there for the commercials, the halftime show,
and the food
