Speaker 1 (00:00):
Okay, we're back. At least it's gonna be a very
cool segment because I have my friend Steve d Filippo
from Davio's in studio say good morning to everybody.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
Morning everyone, and a couple of seconds just being really
nice to be today.

Speaker 1 (00:12):
List it's always everybody.

Speaker 3 (00:14):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (00:14):
In a couple of seconds, we're gonna have Wick Grousebeck,
the owner of your Boston Celtics, World champion Boston Celtics.
In a couple of seconds, but you and Wick Steve
are putting together this dinner, this coming to Tuesday night, right,
and the world Champion trophy will be there.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
And Wick and his wife Amilia. Yeah, and he brings
the tequila. I mean, you know, it's the best t
aequila in the world in my opinion.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
Now it's legitimately considered.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
It's it's off the charts, and he's like four flavors.
So every course starts off, uh, you know, with the tequila,
and then uh so we have Nantucket scallops, and then
we have a borternut squashed total owners of course truffles,
and we're gonna do a beautiful ribby cap and then
we're doing that old styled chocolate souf fle.

Speaker 1 (00:53):
When you sauce, you usually have to order it like
an hour before dinner. Yeah, well I'm gonna be having.
That was the old know they ask you will you
be having? Just don't do it anymore.

Speaker 4 (01:03):
It's kind of frustrated. I love that.

Speaker 1 (01:05):
Okay, So this is a fancymancy dinner with you and
with Wick who owns the Celtics, and with the trophy.

Speaker 2 (01:11):
And Amilia, so Amelia, you know, she explains every course.
You know what the tequilas are, and you get to
really learn about the tequila, you know, and of course
you'll be there and you know I talk about the
food and it's absolutely tremendous.

Speaker 4 (01:21):
It's something that is amazing.

Speaker 1 (01:22):
Hold that thought, because we're going to give away now.
I know you wanted to give away a ticket. Can
we just make it a pair. It's Valentine's Day coming, okay,
so a pair of tickets make me look like cheap?
Why is that?

Speaker 5 (01:34):
You know?

Speaker 1 (01:35):
I mean, come on, we take shots at each other money.

Speaker 6 (01:37):
Okay, you know it used to be nice to me.

Speaker 1 (01:40):
All right, call he twenty five. Okay, you'll get a
pair of tickets that there's incredible dinner. We got to
ask a question. I'm going to All you need to
do is be caller twenty five and name one Celtic
Hall of Famer.

Speaker 2 (01:54):
Okay, okay, that's that's so easy. All right, Well, I
think we need to do another question too.

Speaker 1 (01:59):
Okay, throwing a second answer, where was the first Davios?
You need to know south of Hall of Famer and
where was the first Davio?

Speaker 2 (02:06):
Yeah, I mean obviously you know when we say where,
like what street? Yeah, okay, because well I'm a Boston guy,
so you can't say Boston.

Speaker 4 (02:14):
That's pretty easy.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
All right, Now, let's go get we cross back on
the phone. Wake you there, good morning.

Speaker 5 (02:19):
Hey there, I am. I was trying to jump in.

Speaker 1 (02:21):
Oh you get jump in with Belly and me. No,
I'm sorry, you can go where you doing.

Speaker 5 (02:31):
I'm just great. Despite the fact that we stumbled last night,
the team's playing a little better overall. And I'm going
to bring a couple pairs of court side tickets to
the dinner too. By the way, are you kidding people
who are in the tenants. Yes, that's the way it
goes around here. And I didn't want to surprise everybody
on Tuesday. I just want to let everybody know now

(02:52):
that there will be two pairs of court side tickets
available randomly selected by you, Steve. You know, but we'll
do a random thing for among the guests that wow, this.

Speaker 1 (03:03):
Is growing, So call her twenty five this morning on
the Billy and Lisa Show. We'll get tickets to the dinner,
and when you go to the dinner, somebody there will
win court sign.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
I mean, I know, Billy, you've sat court side because
you're Billy Costa.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
Well you know it makes a great deal about it. Yeah,
is there anywhere else to say? I've never turned around
and look, no, I'm kidding. Wick. One thing I want
to share with the people is you're a fabulous musician.
I've seen your band several times. You let me drum
with you guys once.

Speaker 5 (03:31):
You are well. First of all, you're the host of
all the best parties in Boston and all the best
charity events. So what you do and give back is unbelievable.
You bring the energy and then yeah, we play some
music to try to keep the vibe going.

Speaker 1 (03:44):
I remember there was a gallop of mass Iioneer Joey
McIntyre was co hosting with me, and you let me
and Joey sing with the band. It was hilarious.

Speaker 5 (03:51):
I know it. We have a lot of fun. We'll
see you back at the lovel and Hodown. I'm sure
we just played. The band just played the House of
Blue Saturday night. We went on eleven thirty and close
the show until one o'clock and it was unbelievable.

Speaker 1 (04:04):
Wow, he's playing guitar now, Oh I know. Oh yeah,
he's on the guitar. He's out front like Eddie van
Halen jump around.

Speaker 5 (04:12):
It really kind of fun.

Speaker 2 (04:14):
The first when he first started, he was so serious,
you know, making sure you got all the courses.

Speaker 1 (04:17):
That was like jumping up and down.

Speaker 5 (04:20):
Yeah, the splits though the Van I can't do that.

Speaker 1 (04:23):
He's our house band. He always does our charity.

Speaker 4 (04:25):
Yeah, he's you know, he's amazing.

Speaker 1 (04:27):
Hold on one second, we have a call of twenty
five and it's Gensis or jennessionis Genesis? Great name? Good morning.
Do you have the answer for us? Yeah, Celtic Hall
of Famer. Give me one.

Speaker 7 (04:42):
Larry Bird?

Speaker 1 (04:43):
All right, Wick, can you confirm that Larry Bird is
a Hall of Famer. He's a Hall of Famer? Okay,
you got a hold on. Okay, Jennerson question, Oh, was
she there for the second part when we said it she?
Where was the first Davios.

Speaker 8 (05:03):
New Boston.

Speaker 1 (05:07):
You know it's gonna be forty years.

Speaker 4 (05:08):
In May that since I started forty.

Speaker 1 (05:10):
Really did you really start in the kitchen? I mean
as a dishwasher?

Speaker 4 (05:14):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (05:14):
Or do you make that up for washer?

Speaker 4 (05:16):
But I was I started the kitchen yet.

Speaker 1 (05:18):
Hey, Rick, can you talk about your tequila Sin Carl
because it's worldwide it's famous.

Speaker 5 (05:25):
Well, thanks a lot. We would in the very first
people who ever served at the very first person whoever
got behind it was Steve and the whole Davio's organization
has been amazing. Steve, you're the best and and so.

Speaker 4 (05:39):
But can I get you?

Speaker 5 (05:42):
Yeah, he knew that you sit with me all the
time down but he uh, he knew it was special. Anyway.
Amelia and Michael Jordan and Jenie buss in West Evens
and I are the five people who started it and
Amelia runs it day to day. Two million bottles sold
in about twenty countries at this point, including the Loop,

(06:03):
Asia and Europe were going over Asia and Europe in
the Middle East. We brought it actually to Abu Dhabi
in Dubai and on our recent trip, and anyway, the
blanco is a really smooth, mellow blanco that's great for
espresso Martiniz, great for Margarita's palomas. And then the we

(06:23):
age all the three aged expressions. We overaged them, so
we aged them longer than the Mexican law says. We
sort of twice as long in most cases, and they
just get more mellow and smooth and subtle, and they've
got really nice notes of like vanilla and cinnamon. It's
just unbelievable caramel there. But they're real tequila. They're all natural,

(06:44):
they're handmade, and they're delicious. So that's the delicious is
the word.

Speaker 1 (06:48):
I got to ask, what did the Celtic players after
a win? Do they all get like a shot?

Speaker 5 (06:54):
Yeah, that's right. I wouldn't know. Last night there was
definitely no shots.

Speaker 1 (07:00):
There are no celebratory shots last night.

Speaker 5 (07:02):
No celebrations. But we have given the guys, you know,
holiday gifts of particula if they want them, and they
typically bring them home and give them to their moms
and dads. They really do. They're good guys, but it's
it's part of the it's part of the Celtics culture
for sure of the Sinkoro and maybe it's one of
the reasons we won last year.

Speaker 1 (07:20):
There you go, ick, I got to ask you the
Billy and Lisa in the morning show. We're wondering is
it too late for us to put an offer in
on the team?

Speaker 4 (07:29):
I just.

Speaker 5 (07:32):
Not too late. That's still going on. There's been a
lot of interest. It's a really bittersweet thing. It's you know,
it's it's such a big part of my life. But
it'll pretty soon. It's going to be twenty five years
and that's when I'm planning to make way and and
and so. But it's I just want everybody to know

(07:52):
it's going well. And they're really good people that were
lining up.

Speaker 1 (07:57):
Well, you and a Milia want to live your life now,
that's the best thing to do right now?

Speaker 5 (08:00):
Right, Well, I'm really lucky to be able to live
for life with Amelia and and everybody knows that she
knows it too.

Speaker 9 (08:09):
But did you know how hard it is to get
a product like that.

Speaker 1 (08:13):
Anymore? Right with all those bottles?

Speaker 2 (08:16):
And you say, really, I'm going to start up tequila,
right but they didn't just start at tequila. They started
it's the best tequila. You know, all those people own it.
You can think they could just kind of, you know,
done anything right. They didn't. They went and researched it.
They went to Mexico and they.

Speaker 1 (08:31):
It is absolutely unbelievable. A lot of people just put.

Speaker 2 (08:34):
I'm more of a vodka guy, but you can drink
this tequila because it is so smooth and it goes
so good with food. That's why doctors I think just
another one. I think we saw more and coral than
any restaurant.

Speaker 1 (08:47):
Wow.

Speaker 5 (08:48):
And and it's Davos is the perfect place. Listen. We
did one of these dinners everybody in the fall and
it started at whenever eight. We were still there at
eleven with pictures with the trophy, with everybody coming in.
It was I mean, it was a real epic night.
That's why we're doing it again.

Speaker 1 (09:04):
I gotta ask you very quickly because we got to
move on. I got to ask you, how do people
get tickets for Tuesday night? As it possible? Just go
dot com hit tickets and best of luck. Thank you
so much for getting up early. And let's go World
Champions again. Buddy, Let's go for the repeat.

Speaker 5 (09:20):
And Steve Hey Vegas still has us as number one.
We'll see you all Tuesday night and I'm bringing some
courtside tickets.

Speaker 2 (09:26):
First Thanks Week, Thanks for coming on.

Speaker 10 (09:30):
Kids one wait with a Billy and Lisa's weird stories. Well,
kids say the darnedess sings. There are some storms in
southern Oregon causing a lot of power outages recently. So
a local TV reporter went out and he was talking
to some kids live when one of the kids dropped
an F bob.

Speaker 6 (09:50):
A big and then we just were.

Speaker 11 (09:53):
We didn't know it, so we were like.

Speaker 8 (10:02):
Someone called the cops.

Speaker 9 (10:05):
Kids swearing will never not be funny?

Speaker 10 (10:08):
No, that would be my son, Yeah.

Speaker 9 (10:12):
Right into the camera random f palm.

Speaker 1 (10:16):
Uh. This is not a weird story. I'm going to
the label this one creepy because a priest out of
Detroit is accused of using a teenage girl's hair to
floss and then growling at her. He's a sergeant Dwayne English,
talking about what people are saying about Father Carlos.

Speaker 12 (10:37):
It's a leged that he then picked up her hair,
placed it in his mouth and made a flossing motion.
And that was the allegation that was made by not
only the young lady, herself, but the individuals that.

Speaker 1 (10:46):
Were around her at that time.

Speaker 12 (10:48):
Can't imagine how scary this might have been for this
young lady and the other people around her.

Speaker 1 (10:53):
Can you say creepy?

Speaker 5 (10:54):
Yeah?

Speaker 9 (10:54):
Way is he working now?

Speaker 13 (10:56):
Not?

Speaker 9 (10:56):
The Catholic Church a different one.

Speaker 1 (11:00):
Yeah, they just moved.

Speaker 9 (11:04):
Do they still do that?

Speaker 14 (11:05):
I think?

Speaker 9 (11:06):
I think they.

Speaker 1 (11:09):
Whinny, what have you got?

Speaker 8 (11:11):
I'm a nice Catholic girl.

Speaker 15 (11:12):
I am okay, so a woman.

Speaker 8 (11:16):
She's going viral on TikTok.

Speaker 15 (11:18):
She does impersonations of famous singers and what they would
sound like when they stub their toes.

Speaker 16 (11:24):
This is this is my top weird story of the week.
I gotta be honest. So we should have gave the list

(11:52):
of who it is. So it's Ariana Grande, Shakira, Lady Gagat,
Britney Spears, and Christina Aguila.

Speaker 15 (11:56):
I knew who they were, that was just hearing them.
She did a really good up of impersonating.

Speaker 1 (12:01):
I could have picked out guy, picked out Brittany. Yeah, yeah,
really good. You got a bonus in there, bro.

Speaker 9 (12:06):
No no tutes with Steven Wick.

Speaker 17 (12:10):
Yeah, basically.

Speaker 8 (12:15):
About way too many things about Yeah, it.

Speaker 9 (12:18):
Was a great segment.

Speaker 1 (12:23):
We're coming up on entertainment, Kendra talks about his halftime show,
Kendrick Lamar and Josh Allen talks about his m VP award.
It's uh, it's up next in the morning.

Speaker 5 (12:42):
Wait.

Speaker 1 (12:42):
Yeah, it is a Super Bowl weekend. There's a lot
going on today, a lot going on this weekend. I
would use a couple of talkbacks right here justin.

Speaker 16 (12:50):
Oh yeah, Well, big shout out to Steve de Felippo
and uh Wick Grousbeck just on Davio's. Obviously, Wick Grousbeck
has a tequila, an amazing tequila. They have an event
on Twoday nights, So thank you to them.

Speaker 4 (13:01):
I just wanted to.

Speaker 13 (13:02):
Say that Davio's was actually my first job when I
was in high school, and I worked.

Speaker 18 (13:08):
There for three years.

Speaker 8 (13:10):
And although I will be think I met Steve a few.

Speaker 15 (13:13):
Times, he was always very nice and definitely.

Speaker 17 (13:17):
Recommend going there whenever whenever I'm in the area.

Speaker 8 (13:21):
I recommend it.

Speaker 15 (13:22):
I just had like buttery steak that I cut with
a plastic knife.

Speaker 6 (13:26):
Yeah, it's the best, so good.

Speaker 9 (13:27):
He brought some food out there. I haven't had any.

Speaker 1 (13:29):
Is it good?

Speaker 6 (13:31):
Justin it's so good?

Speaker 16 (13:32):
Yeah, steak the steak. I walked by Ith.

Speaker 1 (13:35):
His meatballs or to die for.

Speaker 6 (13:38):
Take one home.

Speaker 9 (13:40):
Maybe, Yeah, it's just me.

Speaker 8 (13:42):
You can have the steak.

Speaker 16 (13:43):
No, I can't, I can't, I can't Sunday, I can.
I won't be good by Sunday. But you know what
I can do is maybe go to the restaurant.

Speaker 1 (13:51):
You know what's weird? You get these giant muscles and
yet you're so fragile.

Speaker 16 (13:54):
Well, I'm honest, I'm on a very very very delicate,
very delicate.

Speaker 13 (13:59):
All right, let's go now the entertainment update with the
Billy Cops.

Speaker 1 (14:03):
As Super Bowl weekend. Here we go, Chiefs and the
Eagles Sunday night, six point thirty kickoff. Massive security in
place in New Orleans. Thousands of officers Rhodes are barricaded
and blocked off. Helicopters in the air. Secret Service will
be there now because President Trump will be at the game,
and I believe he's the first sitting president to ever

(14:24):
go to the Super Bowl. There you go, and Travis
Kelcey and Patrick Mahomes on getting to play in front
of a president.

Speaker 19 (14:31):
It's always cool to be able to play in front
of a sitting president, someone that is at the top
position in our country. It's cool to hear that he's
seen me play football in respects of the game that
I play.

Speaker 9 (14:44):
That's awesome.

Speaker 20 (14:44):
It's a great honor, I think, you know, no matter
who the president is, I know I'm excited because it's
the biggest game of my life, you know, and having
the president there, you know, it's the best country in
the world, so it'd be pretty cool.

Speaker 1 (14:58):
Kendrick Lamar, of course has the half time show. He
met the media yesterday told us what to expect.

Speaker 7 (15:03):
The tent was to always keep I think from day
one was a storytelling I think I've always been very
open about storytelling through all my catalog and my history
of music, and I've always had a passion about bringing
that on whatever stage I'm on, you know, where there's
a war tour or whether it was five hundred people

(15:27):
at Key Club. I've always had a form of that.
So I liked on that sense of, you know, make
people listen but also see and think a little.

Speaker 1 (15:38):
Yeah. He wouldn't say yes or no. If he's going
to do the controversial song, he wouldn't say yes. He
wouldn't say no, But he did talk about his ongoing
feud with Drake.

Speaker 7 (15:49):
Intent was to always keep I think from day one
was to always keep the nature of it as a sport.
I love when artists grit their teeth, like I still
watch battle Raps. This is always been the core definition
of who I am, and it's been there way since
day one. So I don't think it was a thing
for this year. It was always just a continuum. What
I will say about this year, it was more from

(16:11):
a space where I think a lot of people was
putting rep to the back and you didn't see that.
You didn't see that grit, you didn't see that bite anymore.
So I always took that in consideration and going into
any type of my music.

Speaker 1 (16:24):
Yeah, he's not giving it up.

Speaker 10 (16:25):
Well, all I have to say is is that when
my parents are watching the super Bowl, all I.

Speaker 6 (16:30):
Want is for them to chant a minor min soon,
not knowing why.

Speaker 1 (16:38):
At his concerts and giant stadiums, when it comes to that,
the whole stadium, he shuts up and the whole stadium goes.

Speaker 9 (16:47):
Puts the mic into the.

Speaker 1 (16:49):
Post. Malone's going to do the tailgate party on Sunday.
We're going to carry that right here on kiss. I
want to wait in all of our heart stations right,
joshin we are four o'clock on Sunday commercial free. By
the way, the post Malone oreos have landed at my house.

Speaker 6 (17:02):
Oh good?

Speaker 1 (17:02):
All right.

Speaker 10 (17:03):
Can I ask you guys a question? What do you
think will happen? Do you think he'll sing bad Blood?
Do you think Taylor will jump up on stage? That
would be a moment.

Speaker 15 (17:12):
I think that she might just play girlfriend as mush as,
But I think if Travis wasn't in the Super Bowl,
she might have if he was performing.

Speaker 16 (17:22):
I mean remember Bieber last year. There was speculation he
was there and he didn't jump on Yeah.

Speaker 8 (17:27):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (17:28):
Super Bowl is weird because the NFL makes a lot
of the decisions.

Speaker 6 (17:33):
There's so much planning.

Speaker 1 (17:34):
Although it would be the coolest thing for Taylor Swift
to jump on stage with Kendrick Lamar and Sizza, it's
not likely they'll let it happen.

Speaker 6 (17:42):
They probably won't.

Speaker 5 (17:43):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (17:43):
Meantime, NFL honors last night the naming of the NFL's
MVP this season. It went to Josh Allen of The Bill.

Speaker 21 (17:51):
We got such a great locker room in Buffalo, and
it takes everybody from the equipment staff to the training
room to the strength staff Rick in the now room
to the cafeteria upstairs.

Speaker 9 (18:02):
Like it.

Speaker 21 (18:02):
It truly takes everybody to half team success. And I'm
so fortunate to be a part of a great organization.

Speaker 1 (18:09):
Yeah, I like him. I like Josh Allen. What a
good quarterback? Yeah, me too, great runner. Uh Snoop posted
the NFL Honors last night. Managed a shot at Bill Belichick.
I mean it's a running quarterback list. Everybody's dying to
make fun of me on this show.

Speaker 9 (18:24):
What what did I say?

Speaker 1 (18:25):
I don't know what did I say wrong?

Speaker 8 (18:27):
Nothing?

Speaker 6 (18:28):
Nothing?

Speaker 8 (18:28):
I I was She was just laughing about.

Speaker 6 (18:30):
About what we're about to talk about.

Speaker 1 (18:32):
Oh, snoop.

Speaker 16 (18:32):
Yeah, we're not going to you can't wait to talk
about the draft.

Speaker 9 (18:36):
We're not going to talk about what happened earlier. This
We just move on.

Speaker 16 (18:39):
We're not worried like I want to talk about it. No, see,
Kender Kamarason, I'm not worried about the past?

Speaker 1 (18:45):
Is that what he said? I really didn't know how
the president?

Speaker 16 (18:48):
You know what, Bill, Because if you have one foot
in the past and one foot in the future, you're
peeing all over the present. Wow, Okay, you just say
just stay in the present, don't worry. I'm in the present. Okay, good,
all right, So I want to talk about Belichick. Snoop
last night took a shot at him at the NFL honor.

Speaker 22 (19:05):
Because I've been a football fan for a long long time.
I mean, I remember back when the Cowboys was good,
I remember back when the Chiefs was bad, and I remember.

Speaker 1 (19:19):
Bill Belichick's girlfriend wasn't even born yet.

Speaker 10 (19:22):
Okay, she's a good one, and they laughed. I mean
they took it well. But yeah, I know she showed up.
She was her gown is there's not.

Speaker 8 (19:31):
Much to it.

Speaker 1 (19:32):
She forgot the rest of it.

Speaker 6 (19:33):
It's beautiful maybe for like the Grammys.

Speaker 1 (19:36):
Nice.

Speaker 10 (19:37):
I mean obviously you know she's very fit, but they
were all they were like blinged out. So he's wearing
a lot of his Super Bowl rings and then she's
got a big ring on. I can't tell if it's
one of his rings or her cheerleading ring from Bridgewater State,
but she posted something on her story about it about
Bridgewater State in the ring and a picture from last night.

Speaker 1 (19:58):
So it's not an engagement ring, no.

Speaker 10 (20:00):
But then there was speculation yesterday that God engaged because
she has another ring on her finger. It doesn't look
like a typical engagement ring. So I don't know what's
going on.

Speaker 1 (20:07):
You know what's going on. She's the star. Oh, she's
the star.

Speaker 16 (20:12):
I mean, come on, let's just yeah listen. I had
a long conversation with her the end of last year. Yes,
we made some plans that she was going to come
on this radio show, and then she ghosted me.

Speaker 1 (20:23):
Yeah, probably came from Bill.

Speaker 16 (20:27):
I don't know it sounded it's I mean, I know
she was being genuine. She wanted to come on and
kind of clear up everything with Winnie and you know,
obviously the cheerleading program at Bridgewater State. And I never
heard from her again. So Jordan, if you're listening or
if this gets back to you, we want you to
come on. We want to have a discussion.

Speaker 1 (20:43):
And she kind like a shawl or something, you know
what I mean, it's some sort of a cover.

Speaker 6 (20:50):
She looks great.

Speaker 1 (20:51):
Yeah, she does look like well, she's a cheerleading champion,
national champion.

Speaker 8 (20:56):
Go Jordan.

Speaker 1 (20:57):
Bridgewater State are the national champion cheerleaders. So why not?
Right by the way, a couple of polls out this morning,
forty eight percent of Americans will watch the game. No
shock there I would have expected more. Twenty nine percent
want the Eagles to win, twenty two percent the Chiefs,
and forty nine percent simply don't care. And I've got

(21:19):
other things to do, you know. Justin new music Friday,
let's go all right.

Speaker 16 (21:23):
First up, we love when you know, a bunch of
powerful female singers get together, and that's what's happening on
this Friday. How about this one? Lisa from Blackpink, Doja,
Cat and Ray teaming up. I think we like this
one a lot on a song called born Again.

Speaker 23 (21:40):
Anthing, a song from a little ps just a little ups.

Speaker 15 (21:50):
Believers.

Speaker 9 (21:51):
That's an anthem.

Speaker 6 (21:52):
I'm gonna be running too that this weekend.

Speaker 9 (21:53):
It's a good running song.

Speaker 1 (21:55):
Absolutely, it's gonna be a number one. I think that's
my produf.

Speaker 9 (21:57):
You say that every time, and it never happened.

Speaker 1 (21:59):
No, I say it when it's a good jam.

Speaker 16 (22:00):
Yeah, mister music, you haven't picked.

Speaker 1 (22:03):
One in two years.

Speaker 9 (22:04):
I know, and I know, I know.

Speaker 16 (22:05):
Well, I have a thing with the the count of
one of my jams and Friday goes to number one,
he gives me some money and it's been a long time.

Speaker 3 (22:13):
You know what.

Speaker 10 (22:13):
I won one and I'm not even in on the back.
But say so Doja Cat and this is one of
her new songs.

Speaker 9 (22:18):
Yeah, you were the first person to bring Dojah.

Speaker 10 (22:21):
Cat yes to say so? And I predicted it and
I went to number.

Speaker 9 (22:25):
And you and you paid her. You gave her a
couple of bucks.

Speaker 6 (22:28):
He never paid.

Speaker 1 (22:30):
Are you all right?

Speaker 10 (22:31):
I never demanded it. It wasn't an official pick, right,
it wasn't official. So that's why I never demanded a
hundred bucks bill.

Speaker 9 (22:38):
He'll give it to you.

Speaker 1 (22:39):
I'll give you the hundred bucks. I've never welched. I
didn't realize I was supposed to or that I didn't.

Speaker 9 (22:44):
Well, it's clear that you did. She's still holding a resentment.

Speaker 10 (22:47):
I'm not really resentful. Again, I would ask for it.
I didn't ask for it.

Speaker 1 (22:51):
Yeah, I'm going to give it a hundred Okay, I.

Speaker 9 (22:54):
Will give you one hundred bucks.

Speaker 4 (22:56):
I will give you one hundred dollars.

Speaker 9 (22:59):
There you go.

Speaker 16 (22:59):
And now my other new jam is the New Lady
Guy Guy, which premiere during the Grammys. It's called Abracadabra.
This is from her new album Mayhem that's coming out
March seven. Another good running song.

Speaker 9 (23:18):
For you, Lese.

Speaker 1 (23:18):
And she's just very weird. Isn't she Gaga.

Speaker 16 (23:24):
She's going back to her roots. I feel like it's
like she has a second language.

Speaker 1 (23:28):
Yeah, Oh, it's like guttural sounds right, and she's made
them famous.

Speaker 9 (23:36):
Well, when he had a good line earlier, I think
it was that she's singing in cursive.

Speaker 10 (23:39):
Yeah yeah, actually yeah, if you could sing in cursive,
That's what I'm saying about.

Speaker 1 (23:45):

Speaker 20 (24:17):
A minor.

Speaker 24 (24:23):
Love Billy and Lisa Kiss.

Speaker 16 (24:26):
All Right, So looking back on the eight o'clock hour,
here's what you missed a lot of talk about the
super Bowl and the Kendrick Lamar halftime show, and we
keep playing this little clip here a minor. And that's
the great thing with the talkback Mike is you can
always use it to you chime in on things and
ask questions, Hey, Justin.

Speaker 25 (24:46):
Is there any way that you can explain the Kendrick.

Speaker 10 (24:48):
Lamar controversy with a minor?

Speaker 25 (24:51):
I really don't get it. Can you simply say it
on the radio in a in a g rated I
want to know what's going on?

Speaker 16 (25:02):
Oh, well, I can explain it to you. It's actually
very it's controversial because it's very derogatory. But basically, Drake
and Kendrick Lamar started a feud in twenty twenty four.
They went back and forth with several disc records that
got very personal. They took shots at each other's families.
Drake took shots at Kendrick Lamar's babies mother, saying that
this kid wasn't even Kendrick's kid. And then Kendrick Lamar

(25:24):
came with not Like Us And in the song there's
a line that basically accuses Drake of sleeping with young girls. Yeah,
being a pedophile. Miners, why like a bitch?

Speaker 7 (25:35):
Ain'tient tires?

Speaker 24 (25:35):
Trying to strike a chord?

Speaker 1 (25:36):
And it's probably a.

Speaker 9 (25:37):
Minor get it strike just yeah, a top tier rapping.

Speaker 1 (25:47):
Yeah, you know, has there been a Drake response to
that specific thing?

Speaker 16 (25:53):
He put him on a corner and that was it.
There were several Drake diss records and they were good too,
They were really good. It was a great beef. But
when Kendrick dropped that, it was like, it's like a
mic drop trying to strike a chord and it's probably
a mi nerd. I mean, everybody has been saying that NonStop.

Speaker 8 (26:10):
Yeah, lyrically, that's just.

Speaker 10 (26:12):
Like, so will that appear in the super Bowl, which
is the question we've been discussing, you know all morning.

Speaker 1 (26:18):
The NFL will just side.

Speaker 16 (26:19):
Yes, apparently they are saying it will be played, but
they don't know which part will that part be played?

Speaker 9 (26:24):
He could just play the hook, right, you know.

Speaker 8 (26:27):
They not like us.

Speaker 1 (26:28):
They do that over and over again.

Speaker 16 (26:30):
Yeah, so we don't know, but we are low key
all of us hoping they come halftime. We're all in
our living rooms. We're gonna be like.

Speaker 13 (26:42):
From the Planet Fitness Kiss one Away Studios.

Speaker 10 (26:45):
We're back with a Billy and Lisa in the morning on.

Speaker 1 (26:49):
Yeah, We're back. It's the Big Friday show started Super
Bowl weekend. Who better to have on right now than
former Patriot Matt White. Hey Matt, how you.

Speaker 3 (26:57):
Doing, buddy, Billy Friday before the Super Bowl?

Speaker 5 (27:02):
Buddy?

Speaker 1 (27:03):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (27:03):
What a day.

Speaker 1 (27:04):
Okay, before we say another word, Okay, who's going to win?
I need you pick who's gonna win on Sunday?

Speaker 3 (27:10):
Oh man, I just want to see the Eagles do it,
not because I don't I don't care about the three
p Look, if Kansas City wins this game, it's because
they deserve to win it. I mean, they're really good team,
fifteen wins they go into the playoffs with, they're playing
really good football right now. But man, the Eagles, I
don't know. Look, I like tough guys. I like the

(27:31):
idea that they have an offensive line that's been able
to exert their will against all these opponents.

Speaker 5 (27:36):
They get a running.

Speaker 3 (27:36):
Back that has great vision, big playmaker, and if they
can continue to do what they do, you know they're
gonna win the game. And I think for for Kansas City,
they're gonna have to do probably more than they've done
all season to win this game, and there's a lot
of pressure on them. So that's that's my pick.

Speaker 1 (27:53):
Man, So what you're saying, Matt is go birds.

Speaker 5 (27:56):
Yeah, fly baby fly.

Speaker 3 (28:00):
So on Sunday, everybody, everybody's happy.

Speaker 1 (28:03):
So what are your thoughts on this whole ref thing?
You know, the Chiefs are getting favors from the refs
because even Travis Kelcey addressed it it Media Day in
New Orleans the other day. Is that something that's possible
to do in an NFL game?

Speaker 3 (28:18):
I mean, I think everything's possible for me. I think
we've seen it, well, we've definitely seen it in other sports, right, Baseball, basketball,
all that kind of stuff. I don't think though, that
it really matters. I mean, I would just listening to
the old number twelve this morning talking about this very thing,
and Brady's take was, and I agree with it that

(28:39):
you know, look, there's about one hundred and forty plays
right for both these teams, right combined. Yeah, and if
you're going to go out there and win it, go
win it. If it comes down to very little things, right,
which it always does. There's always these little nuances. But
if you're going to say it comes down to the
little things like what a ref calls once or twice game,

(29:00):
because we don't see five or six calls going to
somebody and they can't get it right every time, so
you know, when it's all said and done, I just
think that, you know, refs make mistakes, but these guys
primarily want to get it right.

Speaker 1 (29:13):
I got to tell you, Robert Kraft put together a
very moving video that's going to show during the super Bowl.
It's also about combating anti Semitism. Have you seen clips
of that? I think about it. Game out beautiful.

Speaker 5 (29:26):
You know.

Speaker 3 (29:26):
I haven't seen it yet, and I'm kind of the
guy that I stay away from super Bowl week. You know,
some of the big stories you hear about, but I
want to see the entire you know show that is
game day, Sunday, Super Bowl. So I don't know when
it starts, like at one o'clock, but I'll be tuned
in seeing all the little storylines, behind the scenes stuff,
and I'm sure that's going to be a big moment.

Speaker 1 (29:46):
How many rings do you have? I forget, Matt, Well,
I've got five.

Speaker 3 (29:52):
It's just two of those are AFC championship.

Speaker 5 (29:54):
Rings, which I mean your loser.

Speaker 1 (29:57):
Okay, okay, wait a minute, So do you wear them
when you're watching a game?

Speaker 5 (30:01):
Like?

Speaker 1 (30:01):
What should like to watch the Super Bowl as a
former player.

Speaker 3 (30:06):
You know, it's it is, it's strange. I mean, it
takes you back to so many things. I think. I
think for most guys though, it's the memories of you know,
what your family says, right, Like my grandmother and my
aunt got on the team bus when the when the
Super Bowl was over and rode with the players back
to the team hotel, which, by the way, never happens,

(30:26):
like it just never happens. And it's just it's the
it's in those moments where everybody lets their hair down,
you know, the pressure of the game, but the whole
season because you know, in New England we didn't have
Atta boys and you know, pat ourselves in the back
moments unless we're celebrating at the very very end.

Speaker 1 (30:46):
Uh mat Another reason why to have you on twelve
years now for your annual Fools Night out. It will
happen fittingly on April Fools Day. Talk about it. You
got a lot of comedians on April Fool's Day.

Speaker 3 (30:59):
Yeah, you know, it's the event that we love. It's
an event that you know, I think at that time
of year, people are looking for a reason to go out,
celebrate and laugh. My goodness. Uh, laughter is such a
great thing. It's good for the soul. And this event
is really all about these local comedians. I mean, you know,
I've been friends with so many of these guys, and
what Mike and Lenny Clark do for our foundation and

(31:20):
all the people today bring to the table. And I mean,
my gosh, Tony V cracks me up every time I'm
around him. You know, they look at life so different,
and boy do they have a lot of material to
work with these days with everything going on in the world.
So we're going to be back at Encore on April
Fool's Day, which is a little dangerous to get out
on that day, but you come with us and we're

(31:42):
gonna have a lot of fun at Memoirs. We kick
everything off of six thirty go on matt Light seventy
two dot com. But I'm gonna be unleashing my number
one prank. It's an all new and by the way,
I don't say this lightly, the best thing I've done
to date. So we're going to be airing that at
them as well.

Speaker 1 (32:00):
Yeah, you had the Big Prank Store. Okay, where do
people get tickets?

Speaker 3 (32:04):
Just go to matt Light seventy two dot com and listen,
you don't. You don't have to worry. I know a
lot of people are kind of wondering, like with security
these days, right, Like like, I guess what I'm trying
to say, Billy, is if you saw.

Speaker 5 (32:15):
The coach coach bill.

Speaker 3 (32:18):
With with this with this girlfriend, and you saw the outfit,
you don't have to worry about dress like that. See
that that was only done because you know, these handbags
and when you're going in and out of these big events,
you have to have a clear bag and they want
to be able to see everything. Right, it's all about security.
Oh yeah, we don't have security like that. So you
don't have to dress, you know, just just come the
way you want you want to wear, like a full clothing,

(32:39):
that's fine.

Speaker 1 (32:40):
Oh are you like in a loincloth or something that'd
be an interesting sight?

Speaker 3 (32:46):
No, No, I just I'm only commenting on some of
the pictures I saw recently in the red carpet and
I at the awards, and that was only for safety concerns.
I just want to point that out, and we don't
do that now.

Speaker 1 (32:59):
It wasn't all she forgot the rest of the outfit.
It wasn't her fault and it wasn't time to go
back to the house. Matt White will see you on
April Fool's Day.

Speaker 9 (33:07):
Good doing.

Speaker 1 (33:10):
He's a good time, isn't he.

Speaker 8 (33:11):
Oh yeah, guys, he just took a shot at Bill Belich.
I know I got that.

Speaker 16 (33:15):
I got it, and I just kind of we already
hit it hard earlier this morning. We're trying to step
away from the drama there anyway, Happy Friday, everybody talk back, Leftovers,
next kiss.

Speaker 1 (33:27):
Hot, a super Bowl weekend, just and let's get some
left over talkbox. Why not?

Speaker 16 (33:31):
Yeah, A special shout out to everybody that checked in
on the Friday Show, who checks in every day on
the on the talk back feature on the iHeartRadio app.
We appreciate it. We appreciate you listening. And remember the
app is new and improved. There's a ton of new features,
one of which is the preset feature. So we would
appreciate it if you made kiss one await your number
one preset, So it's right on the home screen there,

(33:51):
just like an old school radio at the top. You
can set presets. You just search kiss one to wait.
When you're listening, just hit you know, add to the preset.
It's very easy to do. I'm just saying, but yes,
it is Super Bowl weekend.

Speaker 11 (34:04):
Good morning guys. Just a reminder if you're watching the
super Bowl this weekend to watch for a movie promo
called Novacaine with Jack Quaid. It's such a good flick
and my nephew, Robert Olsen, originally from Quinzy and Norwell,
graduated Norwell High. He directed it. And it's about a

(34:24):
bank executive and he doesn't feel any pain and his
name is Novacaine. It's so good, So support a local kid.

Speaker 1 (34:31):
Thank you, Novicase.

Speaker 10 (34:32):
I saw this trailer when I went to the movies
recently too. It looks really good.

Speaker 9 (34:36):
Well, I'll have to check it out.

Speaker 1 (34:37):
Is that like one of those psycho dentist movies?

Speaker 8 (34:40):
It's one of them.

Speaker 15 (34:40):
So basically he feels no pain so he can die,
but he just doesn't feel anything, so he's like doing
all these crazy things. Oh yeah, it's like, yeah, isn't
that a medical condition. I think there's a medical condition
where you don't feel pain.

Speaker 10 (34:54):
Yeah, I don't need Novacane. When I go to the dentist. Wow, yeah,
they think I'm so weird.

Speaker 9 (35:00):
You don't take novacme.

Speaker 6 (35:01):
No, I never get it years ago.

Speaker 1 (35:03):
I didn't, but I kind of do now if it's
something that requires it.

Speaker 6 (35:06):
I don't know. The needle scares.

Speaker 9 (35:07):
Me, Yeah, the needles really well, Yes.

Speaker 6 (35:10):
I'd rather just take the well first.

Speaker 1 (35:13):
All they're ever doing is cleaning your teeth. They're perfect,
so it's not like they're they're doing it like an
invasive procedure.

Speaker 5 (35:19):
No.

Speaker 8 (35:19):
I think she means what you're doing something.

Speaker 16 (35:22):
Yeah, you're talking about if you've had work in the past. Yeah,
where they would give you novacame. You don't take it.

Speaker 6 (35:26):
I don't take it.

Speaker 9 (35:27):
You're a boss.

Speaker 1 (35:28):
Yeah. Wow go girl. Wow, good for you.

Speaker 9 (35:31):
Lise.

Speaker 16 (35:32):
So earlier we had that talk back from from Lies
in Fairy Tales Chris.

Speaker 8 (35:35):
Yes, we love him.

Speaker 9 (35:37):
He's our other favorite gay. We have a lot of
gays listening to this.

Speaker 8 (35:40):
Shotday.

Speaker 18 (35:40):
Good morning, It's twenty twenty five. Talkbacker of the year,
Lies in Fairy Tales Chris. I'm reporting live from Logan Airport,
where I'm off to Vegas for the weekend. So as
soon as I land, I have Bronchet Lisa vander Pump's restaurant. Tonight,
I'm seeing Queen Mariah at the MGM. Tomorrow. I'm seeing
Rupaon's drag Race live. So if I'm doing the math correctly,

(36:02):
I believe that means that this weekend I will be
gayer than the mayor of the South End.

Speaker 1 (36:07):
Yeah. That's a gay trip right there.

Speaker 16 (36:09):
That's pretty gay. Yeah, all the mayarn he was commenting back.
Now all the queens are calling.

Speaker 24 (36:15):
I'm an old, boring queen from Quinsy and I listened
to the Battle of the Queens this morning.

Speaker 1 (36:22):
Fascinating.

Speaker 24 (36:23):
I definitely am a dalist gay and I will lose
to them any day. I'm boring. Just go to work,
come home, hang out with my parents, go to bed
by eight thirty often. And when I say bed, I
mean go to sleep.

Speaker 9 (36:41):
Oh he really is boring.

Speaker 8 (36:43):
Yeah, and he listened to his parents. That's sweet.

Speaker 1 (36:46):
Yeah did he say that, Well he did.

Speaker 15 (36:47):
He in the order of I come home and hang
with my parents.

Speaker 8 (36:51):
Oh yeah, yeah that's nice.

Speaker 6 (36:55):
So maz why he takes care of them?

Speaker 9 (36:57):
Yeah, especially we welcome and we love all.

Speaker 8 (37:01):
Gays any range, Yes we do.

Speaker 13 (37:03):
I just wanted to tell Justin that I bought the
post Malone oreos and my three sons, who are eight,
six and six, said they are the best oreos they
have ever ever tried.

Speaker 20 (37:14):
So you're gonna love them.

Speaker 16 (37:16):
Yes, So they are at my house. They landed yesterday
the Post Wlone Oreo collaboration. I saw them. It took
everything inside of me to not eat one. But I
will eat them on Sunday and have a review on
my Well, describe them.

Speaker 8 (37:27):
Did your wife already have some?

Speaker 16 (37:29):
She got them and oh did she eat them? I'm
not sure. My daughter did and she ate like three.

Speaker 1 (37:33):
Do we know what the flavor is? I don't know.

Speaker 10 (37:35):
It's sucks a caramel. I think, oh, yeah, that's part
of it.

Speaker 16 (37:38):
I put them away. I don't want to see them,
you know, But Sunday I'll be eating them. So and
by the way, Post Malone is doing a tailgate concert
before the super Bowl that you can hear right here
at four o'clock live on Kiss when Away, commercial free.

Speaker 9 (37:50):
But there you go, all right? Coming up next all
the wrap up.

Speaker 16 (37:54):
We'll wrap up the entire week, the last wrap up
of the week, the big wrap up.

Speaker 15 (37:57):
The biggest, the big, big wrap up, gigantic, big reveal,
but have some answers to some questions that we had earlier,
and a bonus round to the super Bowl.

Speaker 9 (38:07):
Anthem game as well.

Speaker 16 (38:08):
The wrap up happens every morning at nine on the
Billion Lisa Show, and that is.

Speaker 6 (38:13):
Next Kids run Away. It's the morning wrap up on
Billy and Lisa in the Morning.

Speaker 16 (38:18):
A little throwback Taylor right there, you guys, Yeah, I
like it. Yeah, she'll be at the super Bowl this weekend.
I'll say there's a lot of speculation whether she'll jump
on stage with Kendrick Lamar.

Speaker 1 (38:28):
I'm not sure, Hi, guys.

Speaker 14 (38:30):
I don't think Taylor is going to jump on stage,
especially because Bad Blood is about her field with Katy Perry,
which since then has been resolved. So I really don't
think she's going to do that. But what I think
he's going to do is he might sing a little
bit of the song and just kind of as a

(38:52):
shut up to her. That's what I'm thinking it's gonna happen.

Speaker 16 (38:56):
I agree, Yeah, absolutely, Yeah, maybe he points up to
the box. Yeah, although she will definitely show her Yeah, she'll.

Speaker 1 (39:02):
Dance to the whole song. Yeah, and mouth will be
like the size of a basketball. Everything's so shocked. She's
good at what she does.

Speaker 16 (39:13):
Speaking of the super Bowl, we played a Super Bowl
Anthem game earlier.

Speaker 9 (39:16):
I do have a bonus round. Yeah it so, here's
how it works.

Speaker 16 (39:19):
I play a clip of a famous national anthem from
not just the Super Bowl, but anyway, when you can
you shut off.

Speaker 9 (39:24):
The TV, please.

Speaker 16 (39:28):
Just TV everybody, Okay, thank you, Okay, the game was
I play a national anthem from a big event like
the super Bowl? Yeah, just try to at least it's
hard with that focusing on you.

Speaker 9 (39:40):
Yeah, when at least it did win the game. I
do a bonus round. So here we go. At least
you're up first. Who is this?

Speaker 10 (39:53):
It's in Sancos or Backstreet Boys take whatever?

Speaker 6 (39:57):
It was either one or the others.

Speaker 1 (39:59):
I know it was the I could have spent some
time on the harmony there.

Speaker 10 (40:02):
Yeah, boys, I don't final answer way off.

Speaker 6 (40:06):
I thought they sounded good.

Speaker 16 (40:07):
Yeah all right, Bill, here we go. You didn't do
so well in the in the game, but the bonus
rounds all yours? Who is this singing the national anthem?

Speaker 6 (40:18):
There we go?

Speaker 1 (40:20):
Worst right?

Speaker 4 (40:26):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (40:27):
Yeah? What was she on that night?

Speaker 9 (40:31):
I mean, do you think she did rehearsals?

Speaker 6 (40:36):
I think she just got bad advice.

Speaker 1 (40:38):
No, I think she.

Speaker 17 (40:39):
Pops so un said just there was like the All
Star game for the n B A you have like

Speaker 9 (41:00):
What'd you say? Oh my god, how.

Speaker 1 (41:03):
Did you get Barry?

Speaker 8 (41:05):
We love Barry Manelo at the a Corey Household.

Speaker 4 (41:07):
I grew up.

Speaker 1 (41:11):
I could have landed a second place if she missed it,
I know.

Speaker 16 (41:17):
Speaking of the super Bowl, we had our topic time
which was about the Super Bowl and people chiming in
and what they're doing, their favorite anthems, and we stumbled
upon a talk back that said the New Kids were
the first big commercial group to do the Super Bowl.

Speaker 9 (41:30):
We weren't sure if that was true.

Speaker 26 (41:32):
Try to help justin out here. So I'm at work
and I googled New Kids super Bowl halftime show and
it said that it was a Super Bowl in Tampa
when the halftime show really began to become a big deal.
That year the boy band New Kids on the Block
made and the parents bringing the game to a whole
new audience. So it looks like that blockhead was right.

Speaker 1 (41:54):
Wow. Yeah, yeah, so they were the girl.

Speaker 16 (41:57):
They weren't the first, but they were the first. The
change happened with them the first pop act. Yeah, that's
when the first really big group, and then it blew
up from there.

Speaker 8 (42:06):
We came like every year we set the bar.

Speaker 9 (42:08):
Michael Jackson in ninety three.

Speaker 1 (42:09):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (42:10):
Yeah.

Speaker 16 (42:10):
And by the way, I'm not going to go too
far into this because we're out of time, but there's
a lot of blockheads that are upset with.

Speaker 9 (42:16):
Winnie oh oh.

Speaker 16 (42:18):
For God's sake, the grandma's them are I'm sorry, well,
my wife's a blockhead and not, but like Grandma's.

Speaker 8 (42:26):
No, they they could be if they're like in their
you know, I.

Speaker 6 (42:30):
Think there's always a range and yeah, pass exactly.

Speaker 1 (42:33):
You know, we have to come up with the prize
that we have for the people that Winny insults every
time on the show, like like a big teddy narrow
being a carnival. I mean, we have to acknowledge these people.

Speaker 15 (42:45):
Who become a grandma at forty five. I didn't say
you were you know eighty two?

Speaker 1 (42:50):
Okay, you know, like you go to the carnival.

Speaker 6 (42:52):
It makes you feel better.

Speaker 10 (42:54):
Giants bear to say, it never gets just.

Speaker 26 (42:57):
Something you don't love Winny this morning, spread enjoy and
positivity wherever she goes.

Speaker 8 (43:02):
I love Grandma's. I don't see the issue.

Speaker 1 (43:04):
Quickly go round the room, Justin. Who's gonna win on Sunday?

Speaker 9 (43:07):
Yeah, I'm going. I think the Chiefs are gonna win.

Speaker 1 (43:09):
Go birds for me, the Eagles, Lisa, you, I'm going Eagles,
Eagles go, Birds, go back.

Speaker 8 (43:14):
I would love to see the Eagles win. I truly
am not sure. I can't.

Speaker 1 (43:19):
I don't.

Speaker 8 (43:19):
It's a toss up.

Speaker 9 (43:20):
I think the Chiefs are gonna pull it out. They
always find a way.

Speaker 6 (43:23):
You're probably right.

Speaker 1 (43:24):
Yeah, and don't forget post Malone. The tailgate concerted before
o'clock will carry it live right here on Kiss one.
I wait, yes, Justin.
