really sacked Mahomes all night long, six times, most in
Mahomes' career by the way, six sacks. Mahomes also threw
a couple of picks. He fumbled the ball once, and
Mahomes and the Chiefs denied what would have been the
first three peat in NFL history for the Super Bowl.

The Super Bowl just doesn't feel good either way, anyway.

team fought this entire season with the expectations that we

Mahomes and the Chiefs denied what would have been the
first three peat in NFL history for the Super Bowl.

performance standpoint, Kendrick Lamar is masterful is He's a masterful storyteller.
He's actually won a Pulitzer for one of his projects.
So if you just take it as that, as like

a Kendrick Lamar performance with Sizza, I thought it was amazing.
I thought there were so many little easter eggs. But
with that being said, I can totally understand why there
are people who don't her, not in the business. They're
casual music listeners, casual fans of the super Bowl. It's
such a wide audience. I totally get while they would
think it was the worst performance of all time because

there was nothing to connect.

Them to those songs. There were no thing exactly.

That's why for me, I wish there had been a
little bit more Sizza in the performance, Like I was like, Oh,
give us just a little bit more like more popular
songs that a wider audience could connect to.

Yeah, if he had didn't want more of his collaps,
because he's done a lot of mainstream collabs, yeah yeah,
he could, he could have done that. But I think
like he just came off his five Grammy wins, and
at the end of the day, the even down to
the cameraman. I saw somebody like some stuff from the
footage of like people that are at the game. You
watch that cameraman like walking backwards and like going around
the circle with him with the dancers. I mean, it

was really well coordinated. I think him adding in Samuel Jackson,
who's a very obviously well known person, mainstream actor, right
and then three and one. He had a lot of
mainstream pieces. But if you're not into the history of
Kendrick Lamar, you're not.

Yeah, but I'm not a huge Kendrick Lamar guy. I
don't know his songs. I know about the not Like

watching it visually, so much was going on, and everything
and changed so quickly, and you know, the marching band
and all the different dancers, and then all of a
sudden there's Serena Williams and Samuel L. Jackson mixed in

as the master of ceremonies and says I thought sounded better, Yea,
And she's ever sounded. So what I'm saying is I
don't even know the words to any of the songs,
but just the production alone, I could not stop watching.

Yeah, but to Bill's point, like you cannot get it,

This came from a DM that we got over the weekend.

talk about bad friends.

I don't know how you constitute a bad friend.

Well, we were when he and I were talking early
this morning, we were we were going over the Blake
Taylor thing, and everyone's saying, like, you know, Taylor is
abandoning Blake. They've been such good friends and over this
ends with us drama. You know, Taylor's really mad that
Blake brought her into it, and now it seems like,
you know, Taylor's ghosting Blake. So that's why we started
talking about bad friends. And then when he got a

DM about a bachelorette party gone wrong.
Speaker 4 (28:19):
Oh yeah, so it's funny.
Speaker 7 (28:20):
Lisa and I talked about this, and I also had
DM yesterday from this woman that said that she was
supposed to be a MAIDI of honor at a wedding.
She was uninvited to the bachelorette party by the bride
because her husband had COVID and she was testing negative.
But the bride was like, I don't want to risk
getting sick, so please don't come. So she goes, okay, fine,
no problem. I didn't go to I didn't go to
the party. And then the girls that did go to

the party deviated from the original plan of what was
going to happen that weekend. Yeah, and the bride was
blaming the native honor who didn't even attend the party
anymore and asked her to no longer be her made
of honor. Oh and the friends that messed up the
whole bridal shower, I mean party, they are all taking
the bride's.

See, when you start to play the blame game in
any situation, no one wins, right.

And it seems it's always involving a wedding wow, wedding drama.
There's nothing like it.

Not really is Well, that's because the expectations are so
big when you're talking about a wedding and it's unsustainable.
There's something's always going to happen, you know.

Do you have any bad friends?

I don't. I've actually been blessed to have very good friends.
But again, adult friendships are very different than friendships you
had when you were in high school and college. So
adult friendships you have to understand people have got a
lot going on. So you can't like if someone doesn't
get back to you or doesn't text you and takes
them a week. Don't like going to oh my god,
I can't believe she just didn't text me. You just
have to like sort of like like well Robin said,

Yeah, you're really good.

Friends are the ones that you could not even speak
to for two or three months. You're talking them. It's
like nothing ever happened. You know, You're not getting blamed
for not reaching out or not talking to Those are
the real friends.

Don't take it so personally. That's what I've been trying
to do. And then there's the other side of it.
Everybody and justin you've probably had one in your life.
You have the one friend who's not really your friend
but constantly calls you at the wrong time, which is
why you don't like them as a friend.

It's like when the phone ranges. Of course he's calling
right now. Couldn't be a worse time.

I have a few of those, yeah, for certain. I mean, look,
I've been the bad friend. Oh I can say that,

air before. But when I was younger, you know, my
best friend was with a girl, long term relationship. They
broke up and after a year I got with her,
which is bro code I mean, but I was justifying
it in my head that he had moved away a year,

which means you always wanted her. No no, no, no.
Well her father was my cellmate in jail.

That's romantic.

But anyway, Yeah, when he found out, he came down.

He walked in on you in the middle of everything, right,
welling bit out of you.

Well, I was sleeping with her in my bed, and yeah,
we were both naked, and he came in and dragged you.

I never wanted to hold me out of bed. There
was just some shot foots I was in the closet
and the fetal position. He's my best friend today. We've
gotten past this.

you know he can kick your ass, you just gotta

I had a childhood friend that I don't have any
relationship anymore, and we were like two p's in a
pod and then we moved in together and it was
not good. It was six weeks before she moved out.
It was she owed me money. She had like a
vault relationship that she let spill into like our living
situation and then the leand I was like, oh, we
don't want you know so and so being here anymore.

So she goes, well, I'm not gonna if I can't
have my guests here, I'm leaving. And then she left
me with the rent and just left and I.

Yeah, So that that was not good and we have
not spoken in five years.

It's been so long now, it's like whatever you showed.

It was back in high school. She was my best
friend and when we graduated, she told me that her
dad was kind of abusive and she wanted to move out.
So me and my grandma were nice enough to drive
her around to housing for women try to get her replace,
and she told one of the ladies the story that
I had never heard before, and they ended up telling
her she needed to write an essay about why she
needed to move out, and she asked me to write it.

So I told her I shouldn't because I don't know
the extent of your abeutis you know? I can't write
your story? So she called meself entered.

other times not such a good thing.

I went to Florida to my cousin's house, and I
brought a friend with me, and we had a good party.
And I woke up in the middle of the night.
I had a watch a drink, but I remember what
I saw, and I saw my friend having sex with
my cousin's friend's husband.

come pick me up, he would go buy her house
first and get her and then come get me go

stop before they picked me up. And I imagine you
can guess what that pit stopped in tail.

Forties right now, I mean grad school, I'm in multiple
clinicles and I work full time. I have a friend
who's my age. She texts multiple times a week.

not that long ago we had that girl Collin saying
that if her friend doesn't answer her text in five
minutes that she gets pissed or whatever. And we were like, girl,
you do not have the right to tell us when
they have to answer you in five minutes. And she's like, no,
why they're on social media. I'm like, why are you
clocking them? Like you don't have your own life.

I think a good I think a good friend is
a friend that doesn't want anything from you but your friendship. Yeah, yeah,
it's a big thing for me. You know, like all
my friends, my close friends, they don't want anything from me.
They don't ask me for tickets, they don't do any
of that stuff. Another one, they don't care. They don't
care like my friends. They said to me. They'll say, like,
you know your little radio show that you do. Oh yeah,

they don't care. They just love me for me.

And it's like I said earlier, really good friends you
cannot talk to for a month, two months, even three months.

And it never comes up. You're right, that call and
they're just excited to hear from you. Right, that proves
how good the friendship is.
