I just want to tell Billy, when you're in some Miguel,
go eat at the restaurants Salm Pitch. It's my favorite restaurant.
I've been going there for years. I was lucky enough
as a kid to go to Some Miguel for like
six weeks at a time.
Speaker 2 (00:49):
YEA, love it.
Speaker 5 (00:50):
But you have to go to the avenue and go
eat at restaurant Psalm Pitch.
Speaker 2 (00:56):
You gotta lie all right. By the way, do you
know it's only four and a half hour flight. That's amazing.
That's the best part of the Azores.
Speaker 1 (01:03):
And by the way, five Star hotel mark this one
down five star hotel one hundred and forty bucks a night.
Speaker 7 (01:10):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (01:11):
Wow, God, that's why I missed the hotel for a weekend.

Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:15):
Also as airline, Azor Airlines tickets is one of the

Speaker 4 (01:25):
Yeah, we're waiting for caller. It's twenty five right now.
But speaking of other countries.
Speaker 9 (01:28):
Good morning, morning team. This is Jamie checking in for
the last time from Austraya. I've been here since December
and I finally have to go home and go back
to work. And I'm really hoping the cold weather is
moving out and the warmer weather is moving in. But
I'd like to say that even from here from Austraia,
I made sure that kiss went away. It was my
(01:50):
number one preset and number two was Billy and Lisa.
Speaker 2 (01:53):
Have a great day there you go.
Speaker 9 (01:55):
Thank you.
Speaker 1 (01:56):
By the way, we're winning the race and the number
one pre sint Preset r with Ashley and Santy down
the Hall of.
Speaker 2 (02:01):
Jamin and you can get in on it.
Speaker 3 (02:03):
Just go to the iHeartRadio app and put Kiss one
of weight as your resets.
Speaker 4 (02:08):
Yeah, it's a friendly competition between Kiss and Jammin.
Speaker 2 (02:11):
It is.
Speaker 4 (02:12):
We've always had a friendly competition with them going back.
Speaker 2 (02:15):
Oh yeah, yeah, we always bust each other.
Speaker 4 (02:17):
But it's neck and neck. I mean we're ahead by
a little bit. It could it could change. So you know,
if you're listening on the iHeart app, if you use
the iHeart app, you can download it.
Speaker 2 (02:25):
Make sure you make us your number one preset. Yeah,
we're shooting for number one in the country.
Speaker 10 (02:29):
Now, Kiss one Awight with a Billy and Lisa's Weird Stories.
Speaker 3 (02:36):
Okay, this one has to do with a beautiful Burmese
mountain dog named Luna who ended up at the Corona
Animal Emergency Room because this beautiful Luna had ingested like
forty four items including cloaks, socks, and other pieces of clothing.
Speaker 2 (02:55):
One scrunchy, two hair ties, one shoe insert, one small ones,
and here's the big one, twenty four socks.
Speaker 10 (03:05):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (03:06):
So I've had big dogs.
Speaker 3 (03:07):
I've had labs my whole life, and they are cheers,
they are eaters. And this happened to us where we
had a dog we thought ate a hat and ended
up eating four socks came up when the dog threw
up that we never knew he ate. So my question is,
why do they eat socks and stuff like that, Like why, like.
Speaker 4 (03:26):
Yeah, I don't know, it's weird. But dog's okay, right,
the dog's fine.
Speaker 3 (03:29):
Yeah, they were able to get everything out, but the
dog would not have been fine.
Speaker 2 (03:33):
If you know, I would.
Speaker 4 (03:34):
Think that if they ate things like clothes, that they would,
you know, puke them back.
Speaker 3 (03:38):
Und Sometimes they do, but sometimes like you.
Speaker 2 (03:42):
Just clogged it, it just clogs things up.
Speaker 1 (03:43):
Oh I see, yeah, yeah, I saw this story and
I couldn't believe it. This past Monday, forty year old
guy was caught trying to smuggle baggies of cocaine through
the airport at a Bogota, Colombia. Now, the weirdest part
of this is that the baggies of cocaine were hidden
(04:07):
under his two pay.
Speaker 2 (04:09):
So they removed the two pay, they cut it off,
and hidden under the two pay more than a dozen
packs of blow worth ten thousand dollars. Look at that,
and the dude was just like hiding his face. They're
calling it the narco wig. The suspect they charged with trafficking, manufacturing,
and carrying narcotic substances. It's the narco wig. Yeah. They'll
(04:30):
try anything to get the drugs through.
Speaker 11 (04:32):
Oh man, how do they not think that they're going
to see it on the X ray?
Speaker 2 (04:36):
Yeah, I don't know. I don't know. Well, all they
say is take off your hat. Yeah right, Oh yeah,
I know. But it does a body scan. Yeah, not always,
not always right.
Speaker 4 (04:48):
Other times they swallow them. They swallow all the drugs
they go through, and you.
Speaker 11 (04:52):
Know, and then okay, this is horrible. But in North Carolina,
woman is one for attempted murder after locking her boyfriend
in a storage unit for four days with no food
or water. He eventually found his phone. I actually heard
the call before this. He found the phone and he
said she got him to go in there, and then
(05:13):
she goes, this is what you get, and she locked
him in there.
Speaker 12 (05:15):
The boyfriend told police they went to Cooper Storage with
his girlfriend, Robin Deaton, off Old Charlotte Highway to get
something out of the unit. As they were looking through
the unit, police say, the victim told officers Daton said,
this is what you get before shutting the door there she.
Speaker 2 (05:34):
Locked and I don't know how she put me in here,
but she put me in here.
Speaker 12 (05:37):
Police say the unit was filled with stuff and described
it as a hoarder's paradise.
Speaker 4 (05:43):
This is what I imagine my wife would do if
she ever caught me cheating. She'd kick me in the
storage and locked the door.
Speaker 2 (05:51):
I never looked back. Well do we think he do
he think he cheated or something? Or it's something. Four
days no food, water. He's lucky he survived.
Speaker 4 (06:01):
I mean, that's why she got attempt to murder charge. Yeah,
charge le me out, yeah real quick. When I get
this one in. Guys, you remember Tory lanez Yeah, y,
Tory Lane serving a ten year prison sentence for shooting
Megan thee Stallion. So he's in prison in California, I know, right,
the same.
Speaker 1 (06:17):
As scene when she's crawling along the ground dragging a foot.
Speaker 2 (06:21):
The hoof, yeah, the hoof. She's okay.
Speaker 4 (06:23):
But he's doing ten years and he's recording music in
prison through on the phone.
Speaker 2 (06:28):
Okay.
Speaker 11 (06:28):
Can I just tell you? Will he drop one? Like
a few months ago it was one of the best songs.
Speaker 2 (06:32):
Of the year. Yeah, we don't know the technology that
he's using. He's recording it over.
Speaker 4 (06:36):
The phone, like on a collect call or whatever they use,
and then they're mastering and engineering it to sound good. Anyway,
he was recording a new song this week when a
prison riot broke out like behind him while he was
recording tell.
Speaker 2 (06:50):
Me right right, I got ready, Hey, I can't say
them and I got so.
Speaker 4 (07:08):
He was on FaceTime this video of this and there's
a riot going on behind them.
Speaker 2 (07:15):
Crazy crazy. So I think he'll be out in a
few years.
Speaker 3 (07:19):
You have a question, though, if he's trying to release
new music, can he make money off of that while
he's interesting?
Speaker 2 (07:23):
Believe right, I believe so. I think so.
Speaker 9 (07:26):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (07:26):
Yeah, I heard the song on a streaming service. Yeah,
I heard Apple Music. Yeah yeah, and he can. He
wouldn't be looking for a collab with Megan the Stown. No,
that's not gonna happen. No, nothing. Academy Awards coming up
this Sunday night.
Speaker 1 (07:42):
Also, Benson Boone has a new song that's coming out
at six o'clock to night. We've got these and other
stories coming up in entertainment that, by the way, is next.
Speaker 13 (07:51):
Is Ellie Golding And you're waking up with Billy and
Lisa in the morning on Kiss one O eight.
Speaker 2 (07:56):
Well, thank you, Ellie Golding. We've got entertainment ready to go.
But justin I'll allow you a couple of talkbacks if
you want to fit an end.
Speaker 14 (08:03):
Good morning, morning crew, Love you guys, put you on
my preset.
Speaker 2 (08:07):
Have a question for Lisa. Know she's a.
Speaker 14 (08:09):
Skier in Vermont, so we ski sugar Bush and the
vice president jd Vance will be there with his family
this weekend. How do you think that'll affect lines?
Speaker 2 (08:19):
It might be, it might be, ah, well, the Secret
Service disruption. You might want to go somewhere else. How
does the lift line work to Stow?
Speaker 3 (08:27):
We go to Stowe, which is just like one or
two exits up, which is a great mountain.
Speaker 2 (08:32):
That's what I would do. Yeah, I think you're I
think you're going to be disrupted. Well what would they
have to do? Take everybody out of the lift line?
Speaker 4 (08:38):
Yeah, I don't know when the Secret Service is involved.
I mean you can expect major delays.
Speaker 2 (08:42):
Oh major, absolutely, call me crazy. But do you already
get a ski vacation six weeks into your job?
Speaker 11 (08:48):
I mean, mostly is you get the ninety days? You
don't even get vacation till you get through the first
three months.
Speaker 2 (08:53):
Probably a ski getaway. Maybe it's on a vacation, get
a weekend, it's just a weekend. There.
Speaker 15 (08:58):
She is just spreading joy and positivity wherever she goes.
Speaker 2 (09:03):
Now the entertainment update with the Billy gollstep all.
Speaker 1 (09:07):
We want to start by shouting out Sullivan's at Castle Island.
Sully's they just got a James Beard Award. That's the
biggest award you can get, the James Bard Award, really is.
They got it for being an American classic.
Speaker 3 (09:18):
I've been to the James Beard Awards in New York
when I used to.
Speaker 2 (09:22):
Do pr I did restaurant pr in.
Speaker 3 (09:23):
One of my restaurants won a James Beard Award Best
New Chef, and we went and we had dinner there.
Speaker 2 (09:28):
It was amazing. Look at you, yep, I wll that's big. No,
I have not.
Speaker 1 (09:34):
I have not. My TV partner Jenny has, but not me. Anyway,
here's the owner of Sully's right here.
Speaker 2 (09:40):
You always wonder is it a scam? And then we
received the email. Then as you look at the email like,
oh no, this is legit.
Speaker 16 (09:45):
So we were just blown away by what this means
because they don't give this out to anyone.
Speaker 2 (09:50):
You can't just ask for this.
Speaker 1 (09:52):
Yeah, they opened in nineteen fifty one. Go ahead, Winnie.
You know you're going to ask what was I there
for the opening?
Speaker 5 (10:00):
I do know you.
Speaker 2 (10:02):
I do know you're alive in nineteen fifty one.
Speaker 9 (10:04):
I do know that.
Speaker 2 (10:06):
It's like one of the first stories. You did what
you weren't alive? That's pretty good.
Speaker 1 (10:13):
So they're going to reopen the doors for the season.
You know they close for the winter. They will reopen
this coming Saturday and Saturday to celebrate the award and
their customers hot dogs half priced.
Speaker 2 (10:23):
You can't wait all day Saturday. They got good hot dog.
Speaker 1 (10:26):
They do they this weekend Boys Sally Sally Sally and
Dine Out Boston is going on. We haven't talked about
that enough. It's a great deal. It started February twenty third.
It goes until March fifteenth. Shout out to meet Boston.
It's three weeks this year. More than two hundred restaurants
offering deals for lunch and or dinner prefixed menus so
(10:48):
you could just go to dine out Boston dot com.
Speaker 3 (10:50):
Yeah, it's like multiple courses and lunch starts at like
twenty two bucks, so you can't beat it.
Speaker 2 (10:56):
Yeah, bring the whole family.
Speaker 1 (10:57):
Two hundred restaurants to choose from, and three weeks for
the first time. It's always been two week.
Speaker 2 (11:02):
Yeah, and you.
Speaker 4 (11:02):
Mentioned earlier, which I really liked the high end restaurants
that typically you cant you know, a Ford, you can
now you can go.
Speaker 2 (11:09):
Yeah, bring the family. Why not?
Speaker 1 (11:12):
And the Academy Awards of this coming Sunday night. They're
going to be hosted by Conan O'Brien by the way
from Brookline, Massachusetts. I guess he just sold his podcast
company for a lot of dough justice.
Speaker 2 (11:21):
Yeah, it wasn't.
Speaker 4 (11:22):
It was like a year or two ago, but one
hundred and fifty million we did.
Speaker 2 (11:25):
Confirm good for him. Yeah, God, you're doing okay. Yeah,
that's that's definite.
Speaker 1 (11:30):
Conan money Arian and Grande and Cynthia Orivo both nominated
for the movie Wicked. They're going to open the show
Sunday night with a performance. And this is really sad.
Gene Hackman, one of my favorite actors of all time.
Both he and his wife and by the way, their
dog were all found dead in their home in New Mexico.
(11:51):
We're expecting a press conference at some point this morning.
They are saying it's unlikely foul play was involved. But
he was in as many as eighty movies and some
of my favorites too.
Speaker 2 (12:01):
I mean he was good.
Speaker 3 (12:02):
The Bird Cage, I'm sorry, one of my most favorite
movies with Nathan Lane.
Speaker 2 (12:06):
He made The Firm.
Speaker 3 (12:07):
He played a Southern senator who dressed up in drag
to get out of a club.
Speaker 2 (12:13):
It's like one of the best scenes in the movie.
Speaker 1 (12:15):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (12:15):
I like The Firm with Tom Cruise. Yeah, that was
really good. Jean triple Horn, Yeah, he's a great actor.
Speaker 1 (12:21):
Wasn't Jean triple Horn local? Like from the Cape or something?
I think I have no I think his name's Jane
triple Woman, the actress Jean triple Horn me.
Speaker 2 (12:31):
Heck, I'm going to look it up.
Speaker 1 (12:33):
There was a charity auction this week for victims of
the La wildfires. It's good to see people are still
doing this. The outfit the Chapel Roan War in the
Hot to Go video sold for eighty eight thousand dollars.
It's the outfit she wore in this song.
Speaker 2 (12:56):
G I love that song. Bill, Can I just let
you know. I know you're anxious because it's wrong. Right,
she wasn't from the Cape.
Speaker 11 (13:03):
Not only was she not from the Cape, she was
from so far removed from the Cape, Tulsa, Oklahoma, talking.
Speaker 2 (13:11):
Right, legion in the right face. Right, I'm confusing. You
are like Kate Blanchet.
Speaker 3 (13:18):
No, No, Kate Bosworth was from Kate Boswar is from Cohasen.
Speaker 2 (13:23):
Yes, Oh I did not know that. Yeah, not the case.
Nothing like Jeane triple Horn.
Speaker 11 (13:27):
Yeah, she's also significantly older than Keith Bosworth.
Speaker 1 (13:30):
And I think it was the only movie she's ever
been in. Jeane Triple Horn. She's the size of Oklahoma.
Speaker 2 (13:38):
Oh, you know what she was in for a long time,
Big Love, which is on HPO. Okay, Okay, I know
he's just came out of nowhere. How he does it? Why?
But anyway, we'll move on.
Speaker 1 (13:56):
Billie Eilish this week says she's gonna have a new
album this year, also going to extend the hit Me
Hard and Soft tour.
Speaker 2 (14:03):
Here she is.
Speaker 17 (14:03):
Yeah, definitely getting back into the studio and doing stuff.
And also you know, next twelve months, I mean I
wanna I definitely have more tour, lots of tour to do,
and probably more than I'm even scheduled for. That's gonna come,
which I'm excited about.
Speaker 11 (14:18):
If she comes back to Boston, you guys have to go.
I mean I'll be going again. But like she it
was such a good show.
Speaker 2 (14:23):
She seems like a cool person to hang out with. Absolutely, Yeah,
I would. I would definitely go to that show. Yeah,
it's a great show, great album.
Speaker 1 (14:30):
There is a new Benson Boone song. It comes out
at six o'clock tonight. It's gotta love the title. It's
called sorry I'm here for someone Else here. It's a
close Sobb episode else it's good to see if.
Speaker 2 (14:47):
You do in a world you do. I think he's
gonna do backflips for that song. He does backflips for
every song. It's his thing. One day he's going to
miss and Billy's waiting for that data come. I'm telling
you who was hoping it was going to be jingle Ball.
Speaker 1 (15:05):
Every day I wake up and check up pop news
to see last night was the day he fell.
Speaker 2 (15:15):
Ah, So how about this?
Speaker 1 (15:17):
The first list of Jeffrey Epstein's friends and or celebrities,
and the flight logs from his private jet to the
island is expected to come out as early as today,
So he says our new attorney.
Speaker 3 (15:32):
And Bondi is saying that it's disgusting the stuff that's
on this list and the acts.
Speaker 2 (15:39):
Well, we know the people that are likely on the
list right, but it's the other people that whose names
we haven't heard that we want to see.
Speaker 1 (15:46):
You know, I've cruised by that island at least twenty times.
Speaker 2 (15:50):
Did you point out a single time?
Speaker 1 (15:53):
Yeah, you know it's actually on the tours down in
Saint John.
Speaker 11 (15:58):
Well, if you saw that doctor that well, there's been
many dogs on him, you kind of have an idea
that Justin said of.
Speaker 2 (16:02):
Who was on the plane. But like some people were
just saying they just took the trip down and.
Speaker 11 (16:06):
They were like it's like, what are they How are
they gonna get out of that now? Because there's a
lot of big names that were those.
Speaker 1 (16:13):
There was never any I'm just going for the trip
to Saint John. No, that wasn't the objective. And sadly,
actress Michelle Trachtenberg from Buffy the Vampire Slayer and gossip
Girl died.
Speaker 2 (16:25):
She's thirty nine years old.
Speaker 3 (16:26):
She had a liver transplants or they're thinking that they
said she died of natural causes and maybe it was
an organ you know, oh no, or maybe her body
rejected it.
Speaker 2 (16:36):
She just looked really frail. Yeah, recently she didn't.
Speaker 11 (16:40):
Even look recognizable, because when I saw that she passed,
I was like, oh my god, because I hadn't seen
her in something in a long time. But growing up,
she was everywhere, the ice Princess for Disney, she was
Harriet the Spy. And then the last couple of years
you haven't seen do anything, and I think she was sick.
Speaker 2 (16:54):
So sad. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (16:56):
So the Baldwins, Helladia and Alec have their new show,
their reality show, and apparently producers on the show are
telling Ilaria to either lose the Spanish accent or lose
the show. Can I hear the Amy shower one more time?
Speaker 15 (17:15):
Sure?
Speaker 2 (17:15):
And that's it, just one more time.
Speaker 8 (17:18):
They have a von trap amount of children, and uh
and they named them all I'm not sure, but very
Spanish names like Harmone and Croquetta and Flamenco, you know.
And all of this would be fine and beautiful except
(17:40):
that Ilaia Francesispania is actually Hillary from Boston.
Speaker 3 (17:49):
That part of it to me just I can't believe
that she literally was from like Beacon Hill.
Speaker 11 (17:55):
Yeah, but my question is, now they have all this money,
Obviously they don't need the show from money. Alec does
extremely well. Would she want to give up her accent
to keep a show she doesn't necessarily need for financial game.
Speaker 2 (18:09):
She needs it for her own Oh.
Speaker 1 (18:12):
Yeah, and Alex trying to get back on the scene.
Speaker 2 (18:16):
So you think she'll lose it quote unquote. I think she.
Speaker 1 (18:19):
Almost has to because I think if not, this would
be the end of the road for them.
Speaker 2 (18:24):
I don't even know why the show exists. I don't
think anybody's watching. I'd like to see the ratings. I
think they have more kids then they have viewers. Well,
I saw opening things.
Speaker 11 (18:33):
I have seven kids, eight pets, two nannies and a husband.
Speaker 1 (18:38):
I was like, okay, yeah, do you know who has
a lot of followers, A lot of people.
Speaker 2 (18:42):
That's Lisa's book club. You had an event last night.
Speaker 3 (18:44):
Lead author Lisa Genova Amazing More or Less Maddie was
the book. Yeah, it was a great discussion, packed house
once again at josin Maine. Thanks to them and ninety
plus dollars you already and I want to mention.
Speaker 2 (18:56):
Raising a reader.
Speaker 3 (18:57):
They announced last night that they're giving me in a
ward at their galla in May.
Speaker 11 (19:01):
My god, yay, Lisa K Yeah, I didn't know this.
Speaker 2 (19:06):
I forgot to miss you. Wait a minute.
Speaker 1 (19:08):
Yesterday it was the Harvard Crimson and today it's Raising
a Reader and May.
Speaker 2 (19:13):
And you're going to be at the your it's yeah,
Jenny and I will have a table for the dining.
Speaker 3 (19:17):
With an author and it's at the Newberry so in May,
and yeah, so I will be presented with.
Speaker 2 (19:22):
And a word. Oh, I'm so proud of you.
Speaker 1 (19:24):
Will you do us the honor of sitting at our table.
I would love to love to have a wow an
award winner sitting.
Speaker 2 (19:29):
We'd like to have someone that actually reads.
Speaker 4 (19:31):
And this is much better than the end of year
awards you win every year. I talk dirty one. This one,
this is the real.
Speaker 2 (19:37):
This is the real deal. Wow, you've got to raise
a lot of money. Yeah, it's been it's been a
great partnership. I'm so proud. I'm gonna cry. Really Okay,
let me just record this guy, and you're gonna make
me cry, all right, Bill, come on winning You'll never
well up. Forget it. That's not I have emotions.
Speaker 1 (19:57):
None that we've noticed. We brought to you by the
ninety nine restaurant. The Prime Rib dinner is back at
the Nines. We're talking sixteen ounces of slow roasted USDA
choice prime rib served with your choice of two sides.
Speaker 2 (20:12):
It's available every.
Speaker 1 (20:13):
Friday after four and then all day Saturday and Sunday.
Speaker 2 (20:17):
Boy, they have a lot of deals over there, the
ninety nine. I love the ninety nine.
Speaker 3 (20:20):
I was just there last Friday night. We had the
short rib mac and cheese. Telling you that's a go too.
Speaker 2 (20:27):
Boy, golf for wings.
Speaker 1 (20:29):
Oh, that's good eating right there. You gotta love the
Nines And there you go.
Speaker 2 (20:33):
I think what had.
Speaker 8 (20:33):

It's Thursday on the Billy and Lisa Morning Show, and
we want to say a big happy birthday to Lisa's mom,
Sue vic Nikki.
Speaker 2 (21:04):
Happy birthday, Mom. Your listening, she's listening, But happy birthday, Carolina,
Happy birthday to her.

so it's my birthday. That's right, it's my birthday.
Speaker 10 (21:21):
And I was.
Speaker 16 (21:21):
Thinking, what if Lisa sang Happy Birthday in that sultry,
sexy voice of hers, and as a duet, we could
have Winny chime in. I really want you could always
have Riley chime in too, so that would be actually
splendid if you guys were up for it.
Speaker 2 (21:39):
All right, thanks by Happy birthday. He's asking the three
the three gals, would you like to start. I'm the
only one that gets the birthday song. I'm the I'm
the only one.
Speaker 11 (21:52):
To you.
Speaker 2 (21:54):
Happy birthday.
Speaker 7 (21:57):
To stop looking like that winning birthday godfather.
Speaker 13 (22:04):
Just Happy day to you.
Speaker 2 (22:11):
You're her gunfire.
Speaker 11 (22:13):
I mean, let her give Metro Mike Metro West Mike
somewhat for her.
Speaker 2 (22:18):
I have to do it in the Maryland Force again.
I think that's what he wants abbreviated. His name is Mike.
His name is Mike Metro West Mike. He's one of
our talkbackers.
Speaker 13 (22:28):
Happy birthday to you, Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday,
Metro Mike, Happy birthday to you.
Speaker 2 (22:45):
Well he got the full month. I think it was.
It was a little more sultry. I tried. It was great.
Speaker 1 (22:56):
Yeah, So happy birthday, Sue vic Nikki down there in
bluff To in South Carolina.
Speaker 2 (23:00):
Beautiful. Yeah, in a dream.
Speaker 1 (23:04):
I'm going to be traveling later today actually tonight, to
the Azores. It's been a bucket list of mine for
most of my life. My dad's ant sectors were from
San Miguel in the Azores, and well, what do you know,
Azores Airlines has jumped on board with the billion Lisa
Morning Show and kiss one to wait. So I'm flying
(23:24):
down to check things out. And it's supposed to be breathtaking.
Speaker 2 (23:29):
Yes.
Speaker 4 (23:30):
Since I met you many years ago, you've been talking
about the Azores and Portugal and your Portuguese and I
always wondered why you had never gone. You've been to
many places, but never there.
Speaker 2 (23:40):
Now I'll tell you something else.
Speaker 1 (23:42):
All my life, if I know somebody has traveled the world,
you know, we all know those people who know a
couple of people that have traveled the world, the big travelers.
My question would always be, so, what was the most
beautiful place you've been to? And always instantly it was Portugal. Yeah,
and I'm hearing great things. By the way, when I
really started looking into it, Azors Airlines is direct out
(24:03):
of Boston, four and a half hours to the.
Speaker 2 (24:05):
Az We can't beat it. You do a long weekend, Yeah,
that's what you're doing.
Speaker 1 (24:09):
Yeah, I'm basically doing a weekend. And also people say, oh,
what's the weather going to be? Like, I guess it's
temperate all year long. Wow, So I think this when
I'm down there this weekend, it'll be like mid maybe
even upper sixties.
Speaker 2 (24:21):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (24:21):
When you told me about it, I looked at a
Google image search. It's unbelievable. So beautiful waterfalls and skin.
We're giving away as Or Airlines tickets in the match game.
It's one of the prizes.
Speaker 2 (24:33):
It's right there on the board.
Speaker 4 (24:34):
Actually one was revealed earlier. I hope you will attention
one of the numbers for the Azors Airlines tickets.
Speaker 1 (24:40):
Something else I want to share. I started looking into hotels.
A five star wellness hotel I'm talking known for its spa,
its wellness programs and everything. Two or three restaurants, beautiful
on the ocean, one hundred and fifty dollars a room.
Speaker 2 (24:56):
Wow, Okay, that's crazy.
Speaker 1 (24:59):
I thought it was a mistake. I didn't want to
book it because I said to Michelle. Is it a
different currency or something that doesn't make any sense, But
the rooms are extremely reasonable.
Speaker 4 (25:07):
I'm excited. So you'll be off tomorrow, but you will
be calling and checking in with us.
Speaker 1 (25:11):
Yeah, I'll probably call at that point tomorrow I could
be tooling around Sunday.
Speaker 2 (25:15):
Can you put a little bit of time five minutes?
Speaker 6 (25:18):
Really, I just wanted to tell you I'm so happy
that you're going to the Azores to Sammy Gal.
Speaker 2 (25:23):
I was there in July.
Speaker 6 (25:26):
It was amazing. I had never been there before. I
was amazed by the hydranges that grow wild, even on
the sides of the highway. I'm not sure if it
was just the time of year that we were there,
but it was beautiful.
Speaker 2 (25:39):
I love hydrange. At least maybe I'll bring a couple
of hydranges from the And you're going with Michelle, your wife? Yes,
I am. She's a world traveler, isn't She just got
back from Africa. Oh wow, on the last Wednesday. Now
she's going to by the way. We went to Nikki
Glazer a few days after she came back. She had
jet lag for like fours a lot of traveling.
Speaker 1 (26:02):
When we were at Nikki Glazer, I thought there was
something wrong.
Speaker 2 (26:05):
With me too, my wife Jangles. Is everything all right
with Michelle's jea?
Speaker 1 (26:09):
I kept looking left, she was sitting right to my life.
I kept looking over like, what the hell's going on
with her? Like, I don't think she heard a single
word from the show. She never laughed once, and I'm like,
what's going on?
Speaker 10 (26:20):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (26:21):
No, she was just flag. She was a trooper for
coming out with us. Yeah, it could have been malaria,
who knows, could still be who knows. But anyway, have
fun in Portugal, buddy. You know, in Portugal they actually
don't call him sent Nick.
Speaker 6 (26:34):
His name is Pina Tao.
Speaker 8 (26:36):
And unless children leave him a stick of butter, he
steals one of their toes.
Speaker 2 (26:41):
Can you confirm that when we get down there? Is
that true?
Speaker 4 (26:44):
I need to know. We'll have a great trip, buddy.
We'll check in with you tomorrow and talk back.
Speaker 2 (26:50):
Leftovers next? What yellow yellow are we live? I don't know?
Is this on? This on?
Speaker 1 (27:04):
That was some sort of a technical mysterious technical glitch.
Speaker 2 (27:07):
Should have been a glitch. No, our little Billy and
Lisa stay, I wasn't put in there.
Speaker 4 (27:11):
Wow, okay, well it's time to talk back leftovers. If
you joined the show this morning, this is the moment
where I put them all together and play them back
because people chime in about different things. We can't get
to the mall, but you can always leave your talk
back via the iHeartRadio app. You listen to kids want
to wait on there and just tap that red microphone
and record right into your phone. You never know I
(27:31):
might play your message.
Speaker 10 (27:32):
Good morning. This is Olivia from Milton. I just want
to say I love you guys. I listen to you
guys every day show thus to justin though. I love
when you talk about recovery and you know your history.
I'm actually five months sober today. One day at a time.
All we have is today, right, So just yeah, you
(27:54):
keep me going and you're my inspiration. So just let
you know, thanks guys, love you nice.
Speaker 2 (28:00):
That one was my heart and good for her.
Speaker 4 (28:02):
And to think I hid my whole, you know, troubled
past for many years out of fear and and now
I openly talk about it and I think it's an
important thing. So congratulations to you, Olivia. We all we
have is one day, yeah, right, And you know my
grandmother passed yesterday than one years old.
Speaker 2 (28:21):
You know, it's sad.
Speaker 4 (28:22):
It's sad, but the positive is is she died at home.
She died peacefully surrounded by her loved ones, all of us,
you know, So it's not it's a beautiful, beautiful life.
Hundred and one years old.
Speaker 2 (28:35):
That's a beautiful story. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (28:37):
And you know I got to because I got clean
and got you know, went into recovery. I could make
amends to her because she was like a second mother
to me. Sure she saw me at my absolute worst.
And you know I did post this. I want to
mention it because it was really special to me. You know,
we're cleaning out all of her stuff and she had
this prayer draw She was very religious and in there
was you know, the Bible and crosses and she used
(28:59):
to pray over it. And there was a little frame
that she had cut out a picture of me my
newspaper article about my story.
Speaker 2 (29:08):
Wow.
Speaker 4 (29:08):
She cut it out and put it in the frame,
so it was right there next to all of her
prayer stuff. So it was just really special.
Speaker 2 (29:14):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (29:14):
Soo to my grandmother, Yeah, really cool.
Speaker 2 (29:18):
Good morning.
Speaker 9 (29:19):
I just wanted to say congratulations to my little brother Doug.
He is eight years clean today.
Speaker 15 (29:25):
We are so proud of you and we love you
so much.
Speaker 2 (29:28):
Well, a lot of recovery today. I'm like, yeah, eight
years clean for Doug.
Speaker 1 (29:33):
It's such a good thing. It's such a powerful thing,
but such a good thing when you can get through it.
Speaker 2 (29:37):
Yeah. I remember Doug on way back, you know, I
remember Doug when he was just a chubby little kid.
Oh my god, you could have liked left. Congratulations Doug.
We only play congratulations, Keep going, Bud. Coming up next,
we'll have to wrap up.
Speaker 4 (29:54):
We had a hot topic this morning for topic time
office etiquette, and I'm going to play some talkbacks that
we I might get in trouble for playing. That's how
crazy it is in the workplace. Anyway, the wrap up
coming up right around nine forty.
Speaker 3 (30:06):
Stay with us, Yes, kids, one away, it's the morning
wrap up on Billy and Lisa in the Morning.
Speaker 4 (30:12):
So we went one for two on the match game
this morning, two shots, seven ten and eight ten. We
did have a winner at seven ten.
Speaker 2 (30:18):
The v Bros.
Speaker 4 (30:19):
Night Out is now gone off the prize board and
you can see that that video and that podcast on
the iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 2 (30:28):
You searched Billy and Lisa in the Morning. Awesome, Yes,
they get five hundred dollars encore too. Oh my god,
I lot that. Yeah, you get the v Bros. Night
out and the five hundred dollars. Then you can turn
the five hundred into five thousand slot machine.
Speaker 4 (30:40):
Yes, she could wait a minute, so I was funny.
I was just going to transition into your book club
last night, Lisa. Yeah, didn't somebody win a big prize
that went to.
Speaker 2 (30:49):
The book club?
Speaker 3 (30:49):
Okay, she was there last night. She won ten thousand dollars.
What after my book club?
Speaker 2 (30:54):
Yeah? You don't remember that? Oh I do, I do it.
Speaker 3 (30:56):
Yeah, it was our first book club with Ben Mesick.
And then she went into the casino. Yeah, and she
she got she won ten.
Speaker 2 (31:02):
You know what that is? The book club bump? Yes, well,
our next.
Speaker 3 (31:05):
Book club is at is that memoir at aug Yeah,
March nineteen.
Speaker 18 (31:10):
Hey, Lisa, I wanted to thank you for another amazing
book club. And I also wanted to ask where can
I buy the ninety plus sellers wines? They had one
now that's alcohol free that I had last night, and
I love that they have that option and it tastes amazing.
Speaker 3 (31:30):
Ninety plus dollars is sold at all of your favorite
wine stores and liquor stores, or there's.
Speaker 2 (31:36):
Someone here with a case in their office. I'm willing
to sell it at half price. If you want to try,
you're going to steal the ninety plus sellers. Well, speaking
of that, that would be bad office etiquettes, all right,
which was our topic time this morning. Huge too. Everyone
has some issues with people in the workplace.
Speaker 15 (31:52):
Let me tell you office etiquette violations. Please don't leave
your work area messy with crumbs on your desk, the
floor or whatever, or leave food around, because especially in
the Boston area, that's when the mice comes.
Speaker 2 (32:10):
The rats cleanup.
Speaker 3 (32:11):
I work in an.
Speaker 19 (32:11):
Office as everybody who's at least eighteen last everybody's like
at least an older adult, and that one person can
figure out how to change the toilet paper on twilet
like this is common sense that you would do at home. Also,
singing along to the radio all day like at least
mocks yourself. Nobody wants to hit you.
Speaker 2 (32:27):
Yeah, don't sing, Oh Bill does that too? What dom
I do? You sing? And and he bangs and he bangs,
he drums.
Speaker 1 (32:34):
God, you know, after the show this morning, it turns
out I'm very annoying to be around.
Speaker 2 (32:40):
Yeah, you can be. You can be, but exhibit a
lot of I should work from a different studio, all right,
we talked about you guilty.
Speaker 4 (32:49):
Yeah, he's messy. He steals, he drums, he sings, he
hops and pops.
Speaker 2 (32:54):
I mean, could be worse though.
Speaker 9 (32:55):
My married boss gave her a married boyfriend a job
in my office.
Speaker 2 (33:00):
And there's that. Okay, whoa who? That could we considered
a good office depending on the married boss.
Speaker 15 (33:13):
My married boss gave her married boyfriend a job in
my office.
Speaker 11 (33:18):
I think again, depending on who you're asking. That's very
nice of them.
Speaker 1 (33:22):
Again, the talkbackers get better and better every day and funnier.
Speaker 2 (33:27):
Oh they're great. Yeah, hey, guys, Metro West Mike Care.
Thanks Lisa. That was great. I didn't know if you
guys would do it or not, but thank you. And hey,
happy birthday to your mom as well. To have a
good day, guys.
Speaker 4 (33:39):
But it's Lisa's mom's birthday and also Metro Metro West
Mike and he requested Lisa saying happy birthday, and you
know what, she obliged.
Speaker 7 (33:46):
Birthday, Birthday, Happy birthday, Metro MinC, Happy day.
Speaker 2 (34:03):
I think might just have a day. My life is complete.
Also real quick. Billy is heading out to Portugal the
Azores tonight. You'll be off tomorrow. I have a great trip.
Speaker 20 (34:15):
Hi, good morning, This is Joe. Sometimes I call when
I'm in the Azores. I usually go to Tersayda Island.
Oh yeah, Billy, you are absolutely going to love your vacation.
A weekend is way too short for the Azores, but
it'll give you a great sampling of what it has
to offer. So I have a great time and can't
wait to hear all about it.
Speaker 2 (34:34):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (34:34):
I can't wait all my life of wanted to go
to Portugal and or the Azores, and I'm lucky I
get to go for a weekend this weekend.
Speaker 2 (34:41):
And you'll call in tomorrow hopefully.
Speaker 9 (34:43):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (34:43):
Give us kind of a picture of what it looks
like when you're there, and then Monday you'll have a
full recap.
Speaker 1 (34:49):
Full recap, full recap. I'm gonna bring some flowers from
Portugal for Lisa.
Speaker 3 (34:53):
Oh.
Speaker 2 (34:54):
Thanks,
