Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hey guys, welcome back.

Speaker 2 (00:01):
You know, I always say it's the Big Friday Show,
but for real, this has been the big Friday show
so far, for the first time ever. Well, the Love
is Blind thing has been shooting all over New England,
right the reality show, and a lot of people were rejected.
They started calling in to us, and we said, hey,
why don't we have a few of you on the
Billion LIASA Morning Show. We'll have our own Love is Blind,

(00:21):
which we did a little while ago. And before we
close that chapter of the Billion Lisa Morning Show, we'd
like to give away a billion lid some morning show hoodie.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
Why not?

Speaker 2 (00:33):
Everybody wants one, So caller twenty five will get the
hoodie and a two hundred and fifty dollars gift card
to Nurse Fiona.

Speaker 1 (00:41):
That is a big prize right there, right.

Speaker 3 (00:43):
It really is.

Speaker 4 (00:44):
So get yourself up and then put your hoodie on.

Speaker 1 (00:47):
I head out. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (00:49):
You will need a keyword to win the gift card
and the Billion Lisa hoodie though, and the keyword is
give her. Clearly, the keyword is giver her.

Speaker 5 (00:58):
Ben Athene the last hour, Okay.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
Now let's get our bachelor, so to speak, on the phone, Matt,
are you there.

Speaker 6 (01:05):
I'm here.

Speaker 1 (01:06):
How you doing right now? Matt?

Speaker 6 (01:08):
I'm doing great. How about you?

Speaker 1 (01:10):
We're doing fine. The question is who are you going
to choose for your date? Matt.

Speaker 7 (01:18):
Yeah, so I think based on who I would communicate
best with, I should probably go on a date with
the bear.

Speaker 8 (01:25):
Oh oh, you don't want to go and a date
with anybody?

Speaker 3 (01:29):
Oh my god, I'm saying you're not choosing anyone.

Speaker 9 (01:32):
I'm kidding. We're gonna go with Tiffany.

Speaker 1 (01:34):
Oh my god, you have me, Matt.

Speaker 6 (01:38):
You need the job.

Speaker 1 (01:40):
That was going to be the coolest thing that ever
happened on this show. I'm gonna take the bear. You
know what, Matt, there's another thing you got yourself, a
sense of humor. Having said that, let's go to your date, Tiffany.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
Tiffany, Hi, Matt has chosen you.

Speaker 1 (02:05):
Tiffany and Matt is.

Speaker 6 (02:06):
On the phone.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
Anything you want to say to Matt, any questions you
have last minute?

Speaker 7 (02:10):
Matt, I'm so happy you made the good, just the
right decision.

Speaker 3 (02:14):
And I know you said that you're funny, but I'm funnier.

Speaker 5 (02:16):
So we'll put that to the test.

Speaker 3 (02:17):
On the first state.

Speaker 10 (02:21):
Matt a response maybe maybe I'm going to go back
and pick the bear.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
I knew he was going to. Well is it, Tiffany,
that's the school teacher? Is we found that off the air, right,
tiff Yes?

Speaker 11 (02:37):
Correct?

Speaker 1 (02:38):
Why don't you give your school a shout out? Where
are your teaching?

Speaker 9 (02:41):
I teach at Bishop Elementary School?

Speaker 6 (02:44):
And where is that in Arlington?

Speaker 1 (02:47):
Okay? All right, so we're talking Dorchester. Arlington doesn't stone them.

Speaker 5 (02:51):
But yeah it's closen up ninety three.

Speaker 4 (02:53):
It's all geographically disarmble, it's all happening.

Speaker 3 (02:57):
Where are we sending them today?

Speaker 1 (02:58):
Okay?

Speaker 2 (02:59):
You ready, guy, I've got you dinner for two at
Davio's Restaurants. Okay, one of the best in the country.
And you can choose. You can go to the one
at the Seaport or you can go to one at
the Market Street in Lynnfield, whichever one works. You'll just
have to let me know when you make your final plans.

Speaker 1 (03:17):
And also we're gonna throw in tickets to the Titanic
exhibit so you can actually take in an exhibit before
you go to dinner, make a day and night of it,
so to speak, or or you know what I'm gonna say.
We're gonna give you shoot things. If the date works out, right,
you do the Titanic and if that works out, then
I'll give you passes to Swan Lake and that'll be

(03:39):
a romantic night. So this could turn into a second date.
So for starters, you know, you've got Davio's and you've
got the Titanic exhibit. Okay, guys, great, thanks, well, Okay.

Speaker 3 (03:51):
I can't wait to hear what happens.

Speaker 12 (03:52):
Yeah, don't sound so excited.

Speaker 1 (03:55):
Yeah, I was going to say the same thing that,
you know what, stay on hold, Tiffany and matt On
hold and producer Riley will get your information and we'll
stay in touch.

Speaker 6 (04:05):
Yeah, you know what, it doesn't work out, they can
always do breakfast.

Speaker 1 (04:14):
And if the Bear, yeah, you know what, God, he
really had me when to go with the Bear. I
thought he decided not to choose.

Speaker 6 (04:21):
We took a left turn.

Speaker 5 (04:22):
I did too. I was like, maybe he didn't like
either of them.

Speaker 1 (04:25):
Wow, boy, this has been a fun shows online too.
Hey Leana, Hi, good morning, Hi, good morning, and you're
calling us from Woburn. We are my beautiful wife. Michelle
grew up in Wooburn, went to WOOBURNE High School in fact.
Uh oh h. Do you have a keyword for us?

(04:49):
We do its giver, of course it is. I'm hoping
it's a giving weekend for everybody this weekend, you know
what I mean? Just give a little yep, never hurts.
But here's the deal, Leanne, you've got your show.

Speaker 4 (05:08):
Can I actually sorry, I was gonna say can I
actually just shout out my eight year old who bought
through and her name is Alex.

Speaker 1 (05:15):
Okay, Alex, shout outs to you.

Speaker 2 (05:17):
Good job, because now you've got the hoodie and a
two hundred and fifty dollars gift card to nurse Fiona.

Speaker 1 (05:27):
So hold on, okay, and producer Riley will set you
guys up all right, Coming up next, we have weird
stories and we're all going on vacation, so good thing.

Speaker 6 (05:36):
There's no like bad plane story. Oh wait, well oh god, yeah.

Speaker 4 (05:40):
It's one wait with Billy and Lisa's weird stories. So
this one makes me a little uncomfortable since I'm getting
on a flight tomorrow morning too. I mean, I mean
I saw this video yesterday. So an American Airlines flight
caught on fire after landing at Denver International Airport yesterday afternoon.
The crew reported feelings like weird vibration. So they were

(06:02):
diverted to Denver, and then the plane basically caught on
fire and there were people standing on the wings trying
to get out.

Speaker 1 (06:09):
They're gone, can call it.

Speaker 6 (06:10):
Out of spring in su Dallas.

Speaker 9 (06:11):
They told us that there was something along the engine
and so that we're gonna have to land in Denver,
and so we emergency landed here and once we landed,
the back of the plane caught on fire.

Speaker 1 (06:21):
Everybody started rushing out in a panic.

Speaker 6 (06:22):
Emergency doors we're able to get popped off.

Speaker 9 (06:25):
Everybody hopped onto the wing and then people started jumping
onto the ladders, and then they brought up some more
ladders to be able to allow people to get off
the plane and get back get onto the tar kat.

Speaker 6 (06:33):
But it was a pretty true out of experience, just honestly.

Speaker 9 (06:37):
So in shock and you know, really happy just to
be alive, really happy that nobody else got badly.

Speaker 1 (06:42):
Hurt, you know, just minor injuries.

Speaker 6 (06:43):
But that's this is one of the most shocking and
scaryas in my life.

Speaker 13 (06:46):
For sure.

Speaker 4 (06:47):
God happy flying, No, this is they're so lucky that that.

Speaker 3 (06:51):
Didn't burst into flames in the air.

Speaker 6 (06:53):
It's another plane incident every day? What's going on?

Speaker 5 (06:56):
Yeah, Justin if you pick this, because you're.

Speaker 9 (06:59):
The only one of us not flying, And we were
gonna fly, and we chose to drive, and when we
booked it, I was a little bit upset.

Speaker 6 (07:05):
I go, I don't want to drive for four five hours.

Speaker 1 (07:08):
Now I'll drive ten.

Speaker 2 (07:10):
This next story, I saw the video and I got
to tell you I was so angry watching this video.
So there's this alleged influencer in Australia and happened to
be walking down the road and noticed.

Speaker 1 (07:27):
A wombat, a mother wombat and her baby wombat on
the side of the road and this creepy woman snagged
and picked up the baby wombat, who was freaking out,
and brought it across the streets so she could do
a video for her followers.

Speaker 2 (07:45):
And the baby was freaking out and you could see
the mother was in distress, Like, what is going on?

Speaker 1 (07:52):
And do you have a clip of the video? Justin
just caught a baby wombat. Look at the mother.

Speaker 6 (08:01):
It's like, Oh, I don't even want.

Speaker 1 (08:04):
To play funny about that. Okay, nothing funny. I got
to tell you this.

Speaker 2 (08:10):
The Prime Minister of Australia waged in yesterday and said,
you know what, she should try that with the crocodile.
They're talking about throwing her out of Australia, which they should,
they should, they should.

Speaker 8 (08:22):
The video makes me so mad and they're oh my god,
this is an animal while animal in their cub basically,
and you took it up and the poor wombat.

Speaker 5 (08:31):
They're not very fast, was like going after the lead.
It made me so mad.

Speaker 2 (08:36):
You know wom bats, mom, wombats can be very vicious
if you fool with their children.

Speaker 3 (08:42):
You don't take the mother's baby.

Speaker 1 (08:43):
No, I was praying the mother would take a chunk
out of this rounds.

Speaker 9 (08:47):
But yeah, and we love Australia and Australia loves us.

Speaker 6 (08:51):
You're listening to Billy and Lisa in the morning. He
on Keith one, I why support that woman?

Speaker 2 (08:58):
We're coming up on entertainment. You know what it so
happens it's new music Friday and justin as it happens,
has a bunch of new music and that's up next episode.

Speaker 1 (09:13):
In the morning.

Speaker 4 (09:16):
Want to wait now the entertainment update with the Billy Cottstad.

Speaker 1 (09:21):
You know it's a good day when we dive right
into the entertainment. Well, it is New Music Friday, so
justin You've got a lot of new music in there.
Let's hit it.

Speaker 9 (09:28):
So chapelone has been teasing the new country song, the
new single, The Giver for like it feels a year.
Maybe she did it on Saturday Night Live last year.
We had a short tease and we played the whole
thing in the seven o'clock hour. If you missed it,
here it is. It's called The Givers. A hit and

(09:55):
Chapel says she's not leaving pop music behind.

Speaker 6 (09:58):
She's just a fan of country music.

Speaker 14 (10:00):
I you know, have kept country in my heart and
it's so incredibly nostalgic to drive in West Holly.

Speaker 5 (10:07):
Wouldn't have Jason Healthy, you know, or like you know,
Alan Jackson Chatahoochie.

Speaker 9 (10:14):
She's a giver. It is a lesbian country song. If
you're wondering, yeah, of course it is.

Speaker 1 (10:19):
Why not?

Speaker 9 (10:19):
Yeah, so there you go. New Chapel roon. Someone else
going country. That would be Calvin Harris, who's the one
of the biggest DJs in the world.

Speaker 6 (10:27):
Threw his hair rout. He has this big bushy bear now.

Speaker 1 (10:30):
Kind of disappeared for a while.

Speaker 11 (10:31):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (10:31):
Well he's been on his journey which led him to country.

Speaker 1 (10:34):
I don't know.

Speaker 6 (10:35):
It's called smoked. The painting waction for days.

Speaker 1 (10:40):
I gave the Sea Street. No, I can't smoke the
bab the way. I wouldn't have predicted that Calvin Harris
is a country singer.

Speaker 6 (10:51):
Me neither me neither, But you know, give him credits
giving it? Yeah, there you go, he does. You know
who else is back? Lizzo?

Speaker 9 (11:00):
She's kind of, you know, around, some controversy around her.
She's been out of the spotlight for a while, but
she's back. She dropped the song a couple of weeks ago,
which we were kind of about. But this one I
think we're liking. It's called still Bad. Yeah in the

(11:26):
building lost a lot of weight too.

Speaker 1 (11:28):
Yeah, really good.

Speaker 9 (11:29):
She's done a lot of work on her on her figure.
Shout out to Liza. She is is she Vegan?

Speaker 5 (11:36):
I'm pretty sure.

Speaker 9 (11:37):
Next weekend, Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco dropped their album.
They have a new song from that album they just released.
It's called Sunset Boulevard.

Speaker 6 (11:58):
Apparently their first date was a Sunset Boulevard.

Speaker 1 (12:01):
Of course it was.

Speaker 9 (12:03):
And finally, the Jonas Brothers have a new song coming
out next week and it's perfect because Jonas Khan is
next weekend in New Jersey.

Speaker 6 (12:10):
Makes sense. The song is called Love Me to Heaven.

Speaker 2 (12:25):
Now, have we heard anything else about Jonas Khan, because
a week or so ago we were talking about that.
We're having some hiccups with that whole thing.

Speaker 8 (12:33):
I saw they're offering vendors if they wanted to, like,
you know, come in and sell their you know stuff.

Speaker 5 (12:38):
I don't know how it's gonna go.

Speaker 8 (12:40):
I hope good for them, because you know, I love
the Jonas brothers, but I won't be there.

Speaker 1 (12:45):
Well justin You're just gonna miss it by a day.
But I'm guessing it'll all be set up by the
time you're leaving the area, so you can have an
update for us.

Speaker 9 (12:51):
Yeah, we're going to American Dreams, so we'll be sure
to kind of walk around and see what they got
going on.

Speaker 6 (12:56):
I'm sure it's a massive event.

Speaker 1 (12:58):
Yeah, it is.

Speaker 6 (12:58):
I mean massive. I mean, look the experiences.

Speaker 9 (13:01):
There's a camp rock bar, there's merch, there's mini golf,
there's a Jonas Museum, there's a game room. This is
Z one hundred broadcasts.

Speaker 1 (13:09):
Yep, Well there you go.

Speaker 3 (13:10):
So this is high level.

Speaker 2 (13:11):
Yeah, high level yeah, so if everybody shows up, it'll
be a bang up.

Speaker 1 (13:15):
There you go.

Speaker 8 (13:15):
I mean you really just need Nick, Joe and Kevin
to show up. That's like the main thing we need.

Speaker 1 (13:22):
Just roam the mall.

Speaker 9 (13:23):
Well yeah, it says performances by the Jonas Brothers and
special guests.

Speaker 8 (13:27):
I mean they said that all American musics will be there.
That's kind of odd but.

Speaker 6 (13:31):
Cool to see.

Speaker 4 (13:31):
I love that they're going back to a mall gig
because I remember when they came here. We got a
call like this is years ago that they were performing
at the mall.

Speaker 5 (13:41):
Yeah, they had a lot of those they did middle school. Yeah, yeah,
they have lost it a lot fun.

Speaker 1 (13:46):
For them to the roots.

Speaker 6 (13:47):
They have a Shake by the Ocean milkshake bar.

Speaker 5 (13:51):
That is cool, very cute.

Speaker 6 (13:53):
Okay, there you go, Winny Jonas and.

Speaker 5 (13:55):
I like it.

Speaker 1 (14:00):
Yeah, just okay. So Jonas Kahn is all said, all right.

Speaker 6 (14:08):
Good, it's all said, new song next Friday. All right?
Is that it for the new music? I mean, how
many do you want? I just want to.

Speaker 1 (14:13):
Make sure you know how you get when I cut
you off too soon? Oh really, you're cutting me off
more to get to we got to get to the
Hilaria Baldwin waiting for that. Okay, I'll get to that
in a couple of minutes.

Speaker 2 (14:22):
But Lisa had a giant, another packed house event last
night to help usher in the four hundredth anniversary ractund.

Speaker 4 (14:29):
Quincy's doing an amazing job. We kicked it off with
Ellen Hildebrand. She's, you know, the author of The Perfect Couple,
which was turned into the Netflix series recently starring Nicole Kidman,
Leev Schreiber, and so many more.

Speaker 3 (14:39):
She announced last night.

Speaker 4 (14:40):
Breaking news there will be a Perfect Couple too. Netflix
has involved Sean Levy from Stranger Things is involved. Nicole
Kidman will be an executive producer on the project. There
will be a new cast, and it is based on
the book Swan Song, which was Ellen's last book in
the Nantucket series that came out last summer. So that's
big news because I was kind of like, what are
they going to do with the Perfect Couple two? So

(15:02):
it's going down that storyline. And then she talked about
Jennifer Garner doing the five star Weekend book Ye Peacock,
and that they will film that. They will not be
filming that in New England. They will be filming that
in Los Angeles because Jen Garner wants to be with
her children.

Speaker 1 (15:16):
And there were like five hundred people there last night.

Speaker 4 (15:19):
It was a packed house. Granite Links that did such
a great job. Yeah, the line was out the door
for her to sign books.

Speaker 1 (15:25):
And you've got Charlemage the God next week.

Speaker 4 (15:27):
I have to say, Ellen will be doing my book
club in September. She confirmed that with me last night.
So that thing is on and it's going to be big.
And I have Charlemagne this coming Wednesday night at Memoir
at Encore.

Speaker 3 (15:38):
So yeah, we lot going on.

Speaker 5 (15:40):
This is crazy. You're cooking out into the fall.

Speaker 3 (15:42):
I know, you got to get on these things.

Speaker 6 (15:45):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (15:46):
Okay, So we thought everybody thought it was announced Harry
Styles was going to be doing a thirty five show
residency at the Sphere in Vegas, and now we get
reports this morning that will never happen, or at least
it's not happening and has been arranged for and nobody
bothered to tell the Spear that Harry Styles was doing
shows there.

Speaker 8 (16:05):
Maybe Harry's camp leaked it so that the Sphere would
be like, oh, maybe we we'll do once they see
the hype behind it.

Speaker 4 (16:11):
Oh it's weird because it was everywhere.

Speaker 6 (16:14):
It had to have come from somewhere, right, you would
think it came.

Speaker 1 (16:17):
From something and he was overdue to do something because he's.

Speaker 6 (16:21):
Takes a couple of years off and yeah, so he's due.

Speaker 3 (16:24):
Then Liam's staff and don't like. Yeah, I don't know,
but I would.

Speaker 4 (16:27):
I was going, yeah, I know, I'm glad I didn't
book my airline tickets because I guess it's not just announced.

Speaker 2 (16:32):
Nikki Glazer will host the Golden Globe Awards again next year.
She'll be backed by popular demand. Remember she crushed it
at the previous award show.

Speaker 12 (16:41):
Wicked, Queer Night, Bitch. These are not just words Ben
Affleck yells after he orgasms. These are some of the
incredible movies nominated tonight. The Bear, The Penguin, Baby Reindeer.
These are not just things found in RFK S freezer.
These are TV shows.

Speaker 1 (17:01):
And reports today say Tiger Woods has been dating Donald
Trump Junior's ex, Vanessa Trump for several months. She's Kai's mom, right,
she is.

Speaker 3 (17:11):
Kai is a golfer, a really good golfer.

Speaker 4 (17:14):
She was married to Don Junior and I guess they've
been together since Thanksgiving.

Speaker 2 (17:17):
And reports also this morning that Beyonce is having trouble
selling tickets for the Cowboy Catter tour.

Speaker 1 (17:23):
Didn't this happen to her last time she went on tour?

Speaker 8 (17:25):
Remember we had talked about this and you were surprised
she didn't do a Boston date, And I said, you know,
she tries to do regionally. I think to like sell
out because she has an issue selling out, like she
has so many fans, But I think the ticket prices
are just so high that people can't afford it.

Speaker 4 (17:40):
Again, why are they making the ticket prices so high?
Like being kind to your fans.

Speaker 6 (17:44):
She doesn't need the money, not between she and jay Z.

Speaker 4 (17:47):
Yeah, billionaire, Like, wouldn't that be a better pr story? Yeah,
if it came out like she wants to make tickets
accessible to all.

Speaker 9 (17:55):
It's not just her though, to you know, Bruce Springsteen,
I mean Taylor Swift tickets, Sabrina cop Yeah, everything's through
the roof.

Speaker 6 (18:01):
But yes, it would be cool for an artist of
that caliber.

Speaker 1 (18:05):
And I think better optics. Just do small arenas, you know,
make it more intimate all these giant stadiums. Yeah, she says,
Paradise Rock Club featuring Beyonce.

Speaker 8 (18:15):
But to your point, she sent so many stadium tours.
It's kind of like another stadium tour, like.

Speaker 5 (18:19):
You know, like I was actually think it would be.

Speaker 1 (18:21):
So much cool for the House of Blues get intimate.

Speaker 9 (18:24):
Yeahah, I like how the Killers I think it was
last year they headlined Boston Calling. Yeah, and they did
a show at the Paradise Paradise beforehand.

Speaker 3 (18:32):
The Rolling Stones have done that.

Speaker 1 (18:34):
Yeah, it's cool.

Speaker 2 (18:35):
And then you have the Baldwins Alec and Hilaria. They
hit the red carpet this week to promote their new
reality show on DLC and you got to listen carefully
to Hilaria.

Speaker 1 (18:46):
How annoying we were more of this season two?

Speaker 15 (18:49):
No, No, I think we're going to see how it
feels to have it be out there.

Speaker 3 (18:53):
This my god, when I'm talking, you're not talking.

Speaker 5 (18:57):
No, when I'm talking, you're not talking. This is why.

Speaker 15 (18:59):
Yes, we'll have to like just had him out of
the show.

Speaker 4 (19:01):
No.

Speaker 16 (19:03):
Is it harder to memorize scripts or be yourself on
unscripted TELEVI so hard.

Speaker 6 (19:09):
We like routine.

Speaker 1 (19:10):
It's good for the kids to have a routine. I mean, she,
as a mother is very good at keeping them on
a routine. You feel kind of feel the desire to
make it more silly than it might be.

Speaker 15 (19:18):
I don't think you make it more silly than it is.
I actually feel I feel like, no, no, we just
we just cut all that part out. No, I mean
it's essential, every day essential and Spanish essence yet okay, yeah,
oh my god, you're distracting me right now, like now,
you're just doing that.

Speaker 3 (19:38):
Why why are you distracting me?

Speaker 1 (19:40):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (19:41):
Yeah, you're just distracting. But oh my god, sob you're
knowing me. It's not cute.

Speaker 1 (19:45):
No, he's distracting me. I spend five minutes with that
creature really bad?

Speaker 10 (19:53):
Oh my on the red cop Oh hey, sports Bruins
lost to Audible last night, swam and benched after giving
up four Goalsville.

Speaker 5 (20:05):
I don't care about the birth right now, we need
to talk about this.

Speaker 13 (20:08):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (20:10):
I was trying to get away from it because Maria
just bugs me so much.

Speaker 3 (20:13):
You know what, when I'm talking, you're not talking.

Speaker 1 (20:16):
Okay.

Speaker 8 (20:16):
I could not talk to my man like that. That
would be so unattractive to me. If I could talk
to you like that and you would just take it
in public, in public? Yeah, on the red carpet, no less.

Speaker 6 (20:26):
Yeah, what's it like to be with somebody like that?

Speaker 1 (20:28):
Oh?

Speaker 13 (20:29):
Shut up.

Speaker 1 (20:36):
Just for that, I'm going to do a shameless plug.
Just for that, I'm doing a shameless plug.

Speaker 4 (20:43):
You know.

Speaker 1 (20:43):
I've got Dining Playbook and I have Meet.

Speaker 2 (20:44):

play Right that you got to check out. We're going
to show showcase that place.

Speaker 2 (21:03):
And Jenny and I will be at El Street Tavern,
sitting at the booth where Ben and Matt sat.

Speaker 1 (21:08):
Oh cool the movie Goodwill Hunting.

Speaker 2 (21:10):
So that's Dining Playbook at nine Meet Boston at nine

Speaker 8 (21:14):

That's out up a band.

Speaker 3 (21:37):
From the planet Fitness, Kiss one Away Studios.

Speaker 17 (21:40):
Bo.

Speaker 4 (21:40):
We're back with a Billy and Lisa in the morning on.

Speaker 1 (21:44):
Hey, Everybody walking back.

Speaker 2 (21:45):
It's the Friday edition of the Billy and Lisa Morning
Show and most of the time on a Friday, we
honor one of our local legends. And the way it
works is people are allowed to nominate someone, they send
the information into us.

Speaker 1 (21:59):
People they believe are going the extra mile.

Speaker 2 (22:02):
They're doing special things, making things happen in people's lives
that otherwise would not happen.

Speaker 1 (22:07):
They're going overboard, so to speak.

Speaker 4 (22:09):
They are And we want to thank Harvard Pilgrim Healthcare
because they sponsored local legends for us and they believe
in that too, So we want to give a big
shout out to Harvard Pilgrim Healthcare.

Speaker 1 (22:18):
So our search for the local legend this time took
us to the beautiful Front Bond Academy, which is right
next to Lisa Dunnovant's home. It's in Milton, so much
so that Lisa Dunnovan has officially been named an honorary
member of the community at Fontpon Academy. And that's not
even a joke.

Speaker 6 (22:34):
Run through there.

Speaker 4 (22:35):
I run through there, our dog, We walk our dog
there and my kids learn how to ride.

Speaker 3 (22:38):
Their bike at beautiful campus.

Speaker 1 (22:40):
Yeah around there and beautiful school.

Speaker 2 (22:42):
So Mars Bignasy is the head of school at Fontbond
Academy and I was impressed the minute to understand we
all go on the local legend search. I was amazed
when we walked in the front door. There were over
a hundred female students in the lobby of fontbon Academy
because they knew who their head of school was going
to be nominated. And by the way, the nomination letter

(23:04):
came from another Mara. You want to read part of
the nomination letter, Liz.

Speaker 4 (23:08):
She says that Maurra truly appreciates the special and peaceful
atmosphere from our home away from home.

Speaker 3 (23:15):
Mara has been head of school.

Speaker 4 (23:17):
She has been an integral part of the Fontpon community
for over twenty years, starting her career as a guidance
counselor and teacher before taking on the role of head
of school. Under her direction, we provide two point seven
million in financial aid annually to nearly seventy four percent
of their students, and she's also played a pivotal role
in bringing seventh and eighth grades to Fontbon.

Speaker 2 (23:36):
Really nice lady, and she is, in fact one of
our local legends.

Speaker 16 (23:41):
A little bit overwhelmed the students to know that, I
I don't know, there's a servant leadership that we teach
her at Pumpon and being a woman of integrity and
humility as part of our mission. And really it's all
about them. The work that we do for our students
is they are the true heroes. Honestly, every single day

(24:05):
they encourage us to be our ourselves and truly love
our mission here at Pompon and developing young women to
be leaders that are going to be a force of
good in this world and really be.

Speaker 3 (24:16):
Courageous in everything that they do.

Speaker 16 (24:18):
And so, as the head of school, I am deeply.

Speaker 3 (24:22):
Kind of speechless right now. I have no I did
not know this was happening. I didn't know this was happening.
I'm like a little bit shaky, which is.

Speaker 17 (24:29):
At a character for me.

Speaker 18 (24:30):
I know.

Speaker 9 (24:30):
Yeah, that was the best part because she is the
head of school. Yeah, she literally was so shocked. Yeah,
you know, we just surprised her with a microphone, and
I think that was the first time the kids probably
ever saw that happen with her.

Speaker 2 (24:42):
Yeah, And it was cool because at one point all
of the students called Lisa Dunovan a baddie.

Speaker 1 (24:47):
Yes, they did, baddy.

Speaker 3 (24:48):
That was a moment. I'm going to post that video
when he captured.

Speaker 5 (24:51):
I did capture that moment, baddie.

Speaker 3 (24:55):
Those girls were great, good.

Speaker 1 (24:56):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (24:56):
I all just wanted to say thank you so much
for coming to farm Bond to give a local legend
to our head of school, Mars Bignessy. You guys are
the absolute best. You can tell by the pictures that
the girls were in complete awe of everyone. I guess
my biggest regret is not taking a picture with Justin.
I guess you guys will have to come back soon.

Speaker 1 (25:17):
My, you got to make a special trip down John.
I know you're from North Country.

Speaker 9 (25:22):
Now that she brought that up, Okay, all right, the girls,
the students were so excited to meet Billy that they
ran over to take a picture with you and they
were crying, and then one of them was crying.

Speaker 1 (25:36):
And by the way, I don't mind saying that. They
they told me I had swagger.

Speaker 6 (25:40):
Yeah, they call Batie and they said you had swagger.

Speaker 1 (25:43):
You do.

Speaker 5 (25:43):
You're both flag.

Speaker 2 (25:46):
That was a fun trip and she does a remarkable job.
Years ago, I used to host the font Bond proms,
if you can believe it, and it's always been a
marvelous school. So it was really nice to get back
to font Bond and see the student body and see
them all so excited I did to see they're head
of school, honored by the Billy and Lisa Morning Show.

Speaker 9 (26:04):
Yeah, and we're gonna we're gonna take a pause on
the local legends, but we'll stick still take nomination Yeah,
kiss when away dot com slash legend and you can
send in who you want to nominate in your community.

Speaker 6 (26:15):
Make sure you're specific what they do while.

Speaker 9 (26:17):
You want to nominate them, and when it comes back,
you never know, we might show up.

Speaker 8 (26:21):
Can I make a note justin well, please do not
give us their phone number an email because we wanted
to prize them give us yours.

Speaker 5 (26:27):
I've had that issue a lot.

Speaker 1 (26:28):
So please please please, and again thank you to Harpard.

Speaker 3 (26:32):
Tilkreeah absolutely they were a great partner.

Speaker 9 (26:34):
And thanks for making Bill feel good. There he goes
all right. Up next with some talkback leftovers. Lots going
on on this Friday. It's been a busy show. Anyway,
that's up next.

Speaker 1 (26:48):
Well, Billy and Lisa Kiss, let's get some talk back
leftovers justin it's a big day.

Speaker 11 (26:53):
Did I miss the part of.

Speaker 4 (26:54):
The show where you guys play the song It's Friday again?

Speaker 3 (26:57):
Because I look forward to that every Friday, not gonna
like you did.

Speaker 9 (27:00):
That was the last hour you missed it? Yeah, every Friday.
Get you hyped.

Speaker 1 (27:10):

Speaker 6 (27:13):
Makes you feel good.

Speaker 8 (27:15):
We play that every day, every Friday, every Friday, going
into your last entertainment.

Speaker 9 (27:22):
Right, We played on Fridays because it's a it's a
good it's a weekend Friday song.

Speaker 1 (27:27):
Yeah.

Speaker 9 (27:27):
Anyway, Good morning from a boat in the middle of
the Mediterranean, circling the island of Capri, sport to staying
here in Italy missing the morning team.

Speaker 4 (27:38):
That is the most beautiful place on earth.

Speaker 1 (27:41):
Yeah, Capri.

Speaker 3 (27:42):
I've been there. I've been on a boat and I've
jumped off it into the into the water.

Speaker 5 (27:46):
So cool.

Speaker 4 (27:46):
No, it's legitimately like the most amazing experience.

Speaker 1 (27:50):
Everybody should do it once in their life if it's
at all possible.

Speaker 9 (27:54):
Well, you know what, we appreciate you taking time out
of your vacation to check in with it, to listen
to the show and check in.

Speaker 1 (27:59):
Yes, out on the water the Mediterranean.

Speaker 6 (28:02):
I'fee coach, I love it.

Speaker 1 (28:04):
Good morning everyone.

Speaker 5 (28:05):
This message is for Justin.

Speaker 2 (28:07):
Justin.

Speaker 17 (28:07):
I wanted to send you a picture of my son
posing with some of his sneaker collection. He gave that
out for Christmas cards this past Christmas, and I wanted
to send you a picture of it because I know
that you're a sneaker collector yourself. Is there an email
address or DM on social media? Not too savvy with
social media, but I will try so just let me know.

Speaker 2 (28:28):
Thank you.

Speaker 9 (28:29):
I would love to see it. You can DM me
on Instagram. Just look me up at Justin Beezy. Send
me a DM and I'll check it out.

Speaker 1 (28:35):
I love that imagine to be out, does you?

Speaker 6 (28:37):
I mean? He could?

Speaker 9 (28:38):
You know I don't have that many sneakers. I've sold
a lot of mine, but you know you saw them.
I have a nice.

Speaker 6 (28:44):
Collection that I have.

Speaker 3 (28:46):
How many mayors?

Speaker 6 (28:47):
I probably have seventy now, but I used to have
a lot more.

Speaker 5 (28:50):
I don't have a lot.

Speaker 8 (28:52):
I have seventy a lot over the one hundred and
fifty two hundred sold that many.

Speaker 9 (28:58):
I had so many sneakers. Yeah, I sold them because
I needed room. One of the worst the days of
my life was when I moved and I had to
move all my sneakers from one house to the next.
My wife wanted to kill me.

Speaker 3 (29:10):
You have more shoes than I do.

Speaker 6 (29:11):
Yeah, really, yes, you know.

Speaker 1 (29:13):
Them, really weird. You've got all these little things.

Speaker 3 (29:17):
I'm actually impressed.

Speaker 14 (29:18):
Yeah.

Speaker 9 (29:18):
You know why I love sneakers so much because when
I was a young teenager, you know, you know, thirteen fourteen.
I remember I was at a party and this really
hot girl was talking next to me and she said
to her friend. I overheard it. She goes, when I
meet a guy, the first thing I look at is
a sneakers. If he has dirty sneakers on, I won't
even give him a shot. And it always stuck with me.

Speaker 5 (29:39):
So we have heard of blame for your OCD on
this stuff.

Speaker 6 (29:42):
Oh there she is.

Speaker 17 (29:43):
You gotta love Winny this morning, starting joy and positivity
wherever she does.

Speaker 6 (29:48):
Anyway, send me the picture. I'd love to see it.

Speaker 18 (29:50):
Good morning, morning crew. I have a question for well anybody,
I guess. I went to the library yesterday and I
took out the book Lebron. I am going to the
book club event with Jeff Benedict.

Speaker 1 (30:02):
And it's a big book.

Speaker 18 (30:04):
So I'm just wondering, on average for other people, how
long does it take for.

Speaker 5 (30:09):
You to read a book that size?

Speaker 18 (30:11):
Because I know I'm a slow reader, but I'm hoping
to finish it before the event.

Speaker 4 (30:16):
Okay, So if a book is like three hundred pages,
you know you can get it through within like a
couple of weeks, right, if you read a little bit,
I usually you know, I usually try and.

Speaker 3 (30:26):
Bang it out like a weekend.

Speaker 4 (30:28):
But but if it's like six hundred pages, I mean
depends on how fast you read, like and how much
time you have.

Speaker 3 (30:35):
Six that's a long book. So I take it would
take me a couple of weeks to get through that.

Speaker 6 (30:39):
You know who writes long books, Stephen King?

Speaker 8 (30:41):
Yeah, like thousands of yes, yeah that's yeah.

Speaker 4 (30:45):
That could that could take me a lot, Like that
could take me like three or four weeks.

Speaker 8 (30:49):
Suggestion, read as much as you can until the book club,
which is April second, right, lease, yeah, and then.

Speaker 4 (30:54):
Again like I started the book club, like for people
that you know, read a chapter, read the whole book,
like come and if you if you're interested in the book,
then just come to the book club.

Speaker 5 (31:04):
I never read, and I go to all the book clubs.

Speaker 3 (31:06):
So well, we don't have to.

Speaker 4 (31:12):
I'm this woman bought the book, right, that's one step
moving in the right direction.

Speaker 9 (31:18):
Yeah, I don't read to buy a book.

Speaker 8 (31:22):
So I did, and then I only read like three
chapters and returned it.

Speaker 3 (31:29):
Okay, I've never heard of anyone returning.

Speaker 1 (31:31):
About she's going to your book club for thee Yeah, exactly,
Oh my goodness god.

Speaker 6 (31:37):
All right, so we just went to Capri and now
we got to go to.

Speaker 11 (31:42):

guys from and Caicos. Listen to you every day on

ca cost He's leaving tomorrow.

with his friends.

Speaker 1 (32:09):

Speaker 6 (32:10):

Speaker 1 (32:16):
Oh wow, totally island partying. Yeah, it's a little different
to another level. Not to make you nervous, I'm.

Speaker 9 (32:24):
Very but tell Max while he's in Turks and Caicos
to send us a talkback.

Speaker 6 (32:28):
I will so, oh yeah, I'll get them. So there
you go.

Speaker 9 (32:31):
