from Newton, Massachusetts was chosen and proposed to by Grant
last night on ABC.

They brought up Charity the Bachelorette, Clayton the Bachelor, and
they brought up loser Gary.

I could not believe they made him. I could not
believe him. They made him like go up there and
like just like he was married for like I mean,
I think he put the wrong person, but that's a

think Grant made the mistake because he was desperate to

They went out last week at all the details, Lisa.

is the Billy and Lisa Morning Show. So right before
we went on vacation, one of the big buzz stories
that locally was this show Love Is Blind was shooting
in and around Boston.

Right and we got a lot of calls from our
listeners who actually were part of the process, and some
of them made it through and some of them didn't.
So we decided to try and hook up two of
the people that didn't make it through.
Speaker 3 (27:38):
Because some of the people who did not make it
through started calling into the show telling us their story
and how they thought they were going to be on
the show and then last minute they were not only
off the show, but they were ghosted by the show.

So Tiffany and Matt are the two people that we
set up on the show, and then we sent them
on a date to Davio's.

And now Tiffany is on the phone with us this
morning to tell all good morning, Tiffany, good morning, how
are you good? Tiffany So to set the record straight,
we sent you and Matt to a dinner at Davio's
in the back bay. Before we get to you and Matt.
How was the food? How was the experience at Davio's.

It was incredible, the food, the cocktails, everything was amazing.
It was the Titanic inspired menu, which was pretty cool
because they Yeah, so it was cool.
Speaker 7 (28:29):
It was like a.

Prefixed menu, so got to get an appetizer, dinner.
Speaker 7 (28:33):
And dessert.

Okay, So, but it didn't work out as well for
the two of you as it did on board the
Titanic and in the movie, right, it did not.

It was the date was kind of like the sinking
ship there.
Speaker 3 (28:46):
Okay, so walk us through it. So you sit down
at davio as you're meeting Matt for the first time.
I mean, love is blind, right, So how'd it go?
Speaker 13 (28:56):
It was okay, I think, right. I think a couple
of minutes in when we started having conversations, I just
I didn't really feel a romantic connection there. I don't
think we're compatible in our values, and we definitely had
different view points on a lot of topics.
Speaker 3 (29:12):
Well, give us a couple of examples.
Speaker 13 (29:16):
I like to talk about light, casual things on a
first date, and there were just a lot of heavy conversations.
But sometimes I was left a little speechless, like I
don't know, I just don't want to talk about those
things on a first date. I want to get to know,
like what's your favorite color, do you have a family?
Do you what do you like to do?
Speaker 1 (29:34):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (29:35):

Speaker 3 (29:35):
What were the heavy things? He was talking about?
Speaker 5 (29:37):
Politics? Probably politics yet initial on the air, Oh, never
never go there.

It was a lot of conversations about that. Yeah. So
I mean, like I said, I didn't want to talk
about those heavy things on a first date. But you know,
there's someone for everyone. It just he just wasn't for me.

I was also told by a little bird that you
did get a follow up call from Matt.
Speaker 13 (30:06):
I did. He asked me to go get another drink,
and I politely declined. You know what?

After the date was over, how did you guys leave off?

I gave a little side hug and ran into my
Uber and started calling my friends.

on a first date and the guy's talking about how
he's an air drummer and all kinds of stupid things,
and the woman's calling Uber from under the table and
then leaves.

I had got the opportunity to talk with Tiffany last
week and to give you guys an idea of how
it really went. She said to me, who's paying for
my therapy session after this date? So we obviously we
didn't get to vet him, so you know, she got
to do that for us.

And I gotta ask you this, Tiffany. Okay, now I
know I happen to know that the dinner was paid
for in advance. If it hadn't been, how do you
think he would have dealt with the bill?
Speaker 13 (31:16):
Well, we actually talked about this. I think that I'm
hoping he would have paid. It seems like depending on
my political views, he either would have split or he.
Speaker 7 (31:26):
Would have paid.

Okay, were you when you saw him? Were you attracted
to him?

Yeah, he's Yeah, he looked like he was definitely my type,

I just like someone to you know, more match my
energy and just just have fun someone that I can

take a lot seriously, right off the bat.

So I got the iceberg salad, which the manager came over.
He was really excited about that idea because he was like,
do you get it? The iceberg?

Mac got? So I ordered, and then Matt said, I'll
have the opposite of everything she's having, So he got.

Yeah, okay, so he got So I got a dirty martini,
I got the iceberg salad. I got the short rib.
They're so good, and I forget what I got for dessert,

So you went out to Davio's with Tiffany and may

But anyway, tell us about your experience at Davios.

Yeah, I had a great experience. I figured I'd just
call in just to maybe point out some inconsistencies or
kind of give my rebuttal on the PAP. I feel
like it was misrepresented.
Speaker 3 (35:41):
Okay, let's go.
Speaker 19 (35:45):
So she was right. We definitely had a conversation and
of this a lot of topics political, politically related. But
when we first sat down, one of the first things
you said to me was you're a Republican, right, and
kind of called me off. But I was like, yeah, sure,
why And then she decided to go into all these
political topics. Oh So it wasn't like I sat down
(36:07):
and was like, oh, we need to talk about all
this political stuff. She brought it up and then we
talked about all this stuff and we kind of agreed
on almost everything.
Speaker 3 (36:16):
But she opened the political door, and that's usually a
bad conversation on a first date.
Speaker 7 (36:21):
Well, I don't have.
Speaker 19 (36:22):
A problem with talking about politics. I mean, if you're
looking at date someone seriously, I think it's important that
your value is kind of aligned. So I have no
issues about it. As soon as possible, I think it's
a good idea actually.
Speaker 3 (36:34):
So okay, So in the middle of the day, how
did you feel you feel things were going?
Speaker 19 (36:38):
Okay, Matt, Yeah, again, like I said, we were talking
about politics, and all of our views are totally in alignment.
I wouldn't have asked someone out on a second date
if I didn't feel like we aligned with some of
those morals and values.
Speaker 3 (36:50):
Well so well, but.

So you're correcting saying that she brought it up.
Speaker 3 (36:56):
You didn't.

She When we first down, she said you're a Republican, right,
and I said yes, And then that's kind of where
it went from there.

But my question is, Matt, so she as you heard
her say, she said you guys didn't align, So what
do you think you misaligned on? Since you're saying that
you thought you did align.
Speaker 19 (37:14):
The one thing that seems to be hung up on
was like who should pay for the first date?

Oh?

What's your take on that?
Speaker 19 (37:24):
Yeah, I'll get so this is my perspective. And then
I think we agreed on this. Which is why it's confusing,
is that I feel like if the woman is more
of a feminist or more egalitarian or believes in gender equality,
that there should be no issues with her supploiment date
as that feels pretty equal. But if you're a woman
who is more traditional conservative or you believe in gender roles,
(37:45):
then I think it's fair to expect the man to
pay for the first date, and since she fell under
the ladder, I was obviously going to pay for the date,
even though it wasn't the whole date. I only paid
for the tip.
Speaker 3 (37:55):
Yeah, yeah, Oh so you picked up the tip.
Speaker 19 (37:58):
I picked up a tip, and I feel like position
is pretty logical. I don't feel like it's inconsistent. I
feel like maybe some people would disagree with it, but
I think it's logically consistent and.

You're entitled to that. Well, luckily the tab was paid
by us, so or by davia that didn't have that
didn't have to be an issue.

It was worth the shock for sure. Again, I would
never have done that if you weren't in agreement on
so many topics.

They've had Obviously they have two viewpoint of how the
night went, and there was something that was off for her,
but he said things that they were more aligned than
she's letting us.

same time and he looks them in the eye and
tells him I'm so in love with you. I'm going
to spend the rest of my life with you. How
does that happen?

There's just it's just a big mistake. And I whoever
did that? They actually brought up three people last night.
They brought up Charity the Bachelorette, Clayton the Bachelor, and
they brought up loser Gary.
Speaker 3 (23:29):
I couldn't I could not believe.
Speaker 7 (23:33):
I could not believe they made him. I could not
believe him. They made him like go up there and
like just like he was married for like I mean,
I think he put the wrong person, but that's a
different conversation. But so they brought them up and they
basically walked through the audience like what their next steps
are and what mistakes not to make. So and I
think Grant made the mistake because he was desperate to

have He really wasn't sure, and he was desperate to
just have two people there. That's why he's strung with
t On. She made her feel so good so that
he would feel so good and you know, so pumped
up about his connection. So I think that's why he
kept stringing her along, even though like I think that's.

Really I think that's really good insight. I honestly do
rather Yeah, I think you're totally right. We are still
caught up though, Like why Gary was on the couch.

Yeah, when I saw him, I'm like, okay, he brought
the franchise to its knees.

Everyone was in love with the Golden Bachar and then
it became like a joke.

Yeah, Like he was a complete fraud, right, and he's
sitting there like nothing happened.

is apparently very good friends with Juliana and has been
and so he all night long even now, has been
partying with Grant in a suite in Los Angeles, and
we talked to him off the air a little bit earlier.
This has been quite a party. He could barely speak.

So he's scheduled to call us right after eight o'clock.
So that'll be a different side to the story, but
it will be exclusive, just like you are, Riley Donovan.

So I think that you know, I honestly think Grant
was The girls were great this season. I think Grant
was like even like the most like boring part of
the season. He really has like he was just like
just not really like he wasn't really exciting. And I
think like Juliana brings some excitement into his life because

I think she she comes from a big family and
I think that I think that he'll be in like
inspired kind of So.

You think you think it's going to last between Grant
and Juliana.

Next to the big update on the Love is Blind
date that we set up before vacation, Matt and Tiffany.
They went out last week at all the details, Lisa.

Kiss one O eight. Hey guys, So welcome back. It
is the Billy and Lisa Morning Show. So right before
we went on vacation, one of the big buzz stories
that locally was this show Love Is Blind was shooting
in and around Boston.
Speaker 4 (27:25):
Right and we got a lot of calls from our
listeners who actually were part of the process, and some
of them made it through and some of them didn't.
So we decided to try and hook up two of
the people that didn't make it through.
Speaker 3 (27:38):
Because some of the people who did not make it
through started calling into the show telling us their story
and how they thought they were going to be on
the show and then last minute they were not only
off the show, but they were ghosted by the show.
Speaker 4 (27:49):
So Tiffany and Matt are the two people that we
set up on the show, and then we sent them
on a date to Davio's.
Speaker 3 (27:55):
And now Tiffany is on the phone with us this
morning to tell all good morning, Tiffany, good morning, how
are you good? Tiffany So to set the record straight,
we sent you and Matt to a dinner at Davio's
in the back bay. Before we get to you and Matt.
How was the food? How was the experience at Davio's.
Speaker 13 (28:19):
It was incredible, the food, the cocktails, everything was amazing.
It was the Titanic inspired menu, which was pretty cool
because they Yeah, so it was cool.
Speaker 7 (28:29):
It was like a.
Speaker 13 (28:29):
Prefixed menu, so got to get an appetizer, dinner.
Speaker 7 (28:33):
And dessert.
Speaker 3 (28:34):
Okay, So, but it didn't work out as well for
the two of you as it did on board the
Titanic and in the movie, right, it did not.
Speaker 13 (28:42):
It was the date was kind of like the sinking
ship there.
Speaker 3 (28:46):
Okay, so walk us through it. So you sit down
at davio as you're meeting Matt for the first time.
I mean, love is blind, right, So how'd it go?
Speaker 13 (28:56):
It was okay, I think, right. I think a couple
of minutes in when we started having conversations, I just
I didn't really feel a romantic connection there. I don't
think we're compatible in our values, and we definitely had
different view points on a lot of topics.
Speaker 3 (29:12):
Well, give us a couple of examples.
Speaker 13 (29:16):
I like to talk about light, casual things on a
first date, and there were just a lot of heavy conversations.
But sometimes I was left a little speechless, like I
don't know, I just don't want to talk about those
things on a first date. I want to get to know,
like what's your favorite color, do you have a family?
Do you what do you like to do?
Speaker 1 (29:34):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (29:35):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (29:35):
What were the heavy things? He was talking about?
Speaker 5 (29:37):
Politics? Probably politics yet initial on the air, Oh, never
never go there.
Speaker 3 (29:46):
He did that right away.
Speaker 13 (29:48):
It was a lot of conversations about that. Yeah. So
I mean, like I said, I didn't want to talk
about those heavy things on a first date. But you know,
there's someone for everyone. It just he just wasn't for me.
Speaker 9 (30:00):
Now.
Speaker 3 (30:00):
I was also told by a little bird that you
did get a follow up call from Matt.
Speaker 13 (30:06):
I did. He asked me to go get another drink,
and I politely declined. You know what?
Speaker 5 (30:13):
She said?

After the date was over, how did you guys leave off?
Speaker 13 (30:23):
I gave a little side hug and ran into my
Uber and started calling my friends.
Speaker 5 (30:31):
In the group chat.

It's like that commercial you see on TV when they're
on a first date and the guy's talking about how
he's an air drummer and all kinds of stupid things,
and the woman's calling Uber from under the table and
then leaves.
Speaker 2 (30:42):
He never want a side hug?
Speaker 1 (30:43):
Yeah, a side hug.
Speaker 16 (30:45):
No.
Speaker 8 (30:45):
I had got the opportunity to talk with Tiffany last
week and to give you guys an idea of how
it really went. She said to me, who's paying for
my therapy session after this date? So we obviously we
didn't get to vet him, so you know, she got
to do that for us.
Speaker 3 (31:00):
And I gotta ask you this, Tiffany. Okay, now I
know I happen to know that the dinner was paid
for in advance. If it hadn't been, how do you
think he would have dealt with the bill?
Speaker 13 (31:16):
Well, we actually talked about this. I think that I'm
hoping he would have paid. It seems like depending on
my political views, he either would have split or he.
Speaker 7 (31:26):
Would have paid.
Speaker 4 (31:28):
Okay, were you when you saw him? Were you attracted
to him?
Speaker 7 (31:33):
Yeah?
Speaker 13 (31:33):
Yeah, he's Yeah, he looked like he was definitely my type,
like tall, dark features, he is.
Speaker 4 (31:41):
A cute like yeah, he's but a little too serious
for you, Yeah.

I just like someone to you know, more match my
energy and just just have fun someone that I can
have a conversation with without being interrogated.
Speaker 3 (31:56):
Yeah, so you're saying bad energy.
Speaker 13 (31:59):
Yeah, I'm more like uppy eating casual and I don't
take a lot seriously, right off the bat.
Speaker 3 (32:05):
And if you don't mind my asking, Tiffany off the
Titanic menu, what did you order a Daia's?
Speaker 13 (32:11):
So I got the iceberg salad, which the manager came over.
He was really excited about that idea because he was like,
do you get it? The iceberg?
Speaker 3 (32:24):
Great?
Speaker 13 (32:26):
Mac got? So I ordered, and then Matt said, I'll
have the opposite of everything she's having, So he got.
Speaker 3 (32:35):
I love that.
Speaker 1 (32:37):
Okay, wait, Timmy, you had to tell them his exact order.
Speaker 13 (32:40):
Yeah, okay, so he got So I got a dirty martini,
I got the iceberg salad. I got the short rib.
They're so good, and I forget what I got for dessert,
like the Alaskan something Yeah.

Baked Alaska.
Speaker 3 (33:00):
It's Alaska, yah yeah, yeah, yeah, you go girl.
Speaker 13 (33:03):
It was delicious. You know, I was making the most
out of it. I was like, this is a night
out totally.

So he got some sort of peppermint mocha martini and
then he got lobster biss salmon.

And peppermint Martina Martini.

Tiffany and Matt out on a date. They went to
Davio's in Boston. It was a beautiful restaurant, great meal.
We had Tiffany on a little bit of go and
she was telling all and now we have the talkbacks. Hey,

We have to hear what the man thought about the date,
because I often think there's like this communication gap.
Speaker 13 (34:57):
So I would be curious to hear his sign of
the date. And he called her again, so he must
have thought it went well, get him on the phone.

You know what we're gonna do right now, We're going
to get him on the phone. Good morning, Matt, Hey,
good morning. How you doing, buddy, joy yourself, We're doing good.
So you went out to Davio's with Tiffany and may
for Tiffany on the show a little bit earlier because
you actively called us, we would have called you anyway, Matt.
But anyway, tell us about your experience at Davios.
Speaker 19 (35:31):
Yeah, I had a great experience. I figured I'd just
call in just to maybe point out some inconsistencies or
kind of give my rebuttal on the PAP. I feel
like it was misrepresented.
Speaker 3 (35:41):
Okay, let's go.
Speaker 19 (35:45):
So she was right. We definitely had a conversation and
of this a lot of topics political, politically related. But
when we first sat down, one of the first things
you said to me was you're a Republican, right, and
kind of called me off. But I was like, yeah, sure,
why And then she decided to go into all these
political topics. Oh So it wasn't like I sat down
(36:07):
and was like, oh, we need to talk about all
this political stuff. She brought it up and then we
talked about all this stuff and we kind of agreed
on almost everything.
Speaker 3 (36:16):
But she opened the political door, and that's usually a
bad conversation on a first date.
Speaker 7 (36:21):
Well, I don't have.
Speaker 19 (36:22):
A problem with talking about politics. I mean, if you're
looking at date someone seriously, I think it's important that
your value is kind of aligned. So I have no
issues about it. As soon as possible, I think it's
a good idea actually.
Speaker 3 (36:34):
So okay, So in the middle of the day, how
did you feel you feel things were going?
Speaker 19 (36:38):
Okay, Matt, Yeah, again, like I said, we were talking
about politics, and all of our views are totally in alignment.
I wouldn't have asked someone out on a second date
if I didn't feel like we aligned with some of
those morals and values.
Speaker 3 (36:50):
Well so well, but.
Speaker 2 (36:53):
So you're correcting saying that she brought it up.
Speaker 3 (36:56):
You didn't.
Speaker 19 (36:59):
She When we first down, she said you're a Republican, right,
and I said yes, And then that's kind of where
it went from there.
Speaker 8 (37:04):
But my question is, Matt, so she as you heard
her say, she said you guys didn't align, So what
do you think you misaligned on? Since you're saying that
you thought you did align.
Speaker 19 (37:14):
The one thing that seems to be hung up on
was like who should pay for the first date?
Speaker 3 (37:20):
Oh?
Speaker 5 (37:21):
What's your take on that?
Speaker 19 (37:24):
Yeah, I'll get so this is my perspective. And then
I think we agreed on this. Which is why it's confusing,
is that I feel like if the woman is more
of a feminist or more egalitarian or believes in gender equality,
that there should be no issues with her supploiment date
as that feels pretty equal. But if you're a woman
who is more traditional conservative or you believe in gender roles,
(37:45):
then I think it's fair to expect the man to
pay for the first date, and since she fell under
the ladder, I was obviously going to pay for the date,
even though it wasn't the whole date. I only paid
for the tip.
Speaker 3 (37:55):
Yeah, yeah, Oh so you picked up the tip.
Speaker 19 (37:58):
I picked up a tip, and I feel like position
is pretty logical. I don't feel like it's inconsistent. I
feel like maybe some people would disagree with it, but
I think it's logically consistent and.
Speaker 3 (38:09):
You're entitled to that. Well, luckily the tab was paid
by us, so or by davia that didn't have that
didn't have to be an issue.
Speaker 9 (38:19):
So you the tip?
Speaker 3 (38:21):
Okay, all right, okay? Are you a generous tipper?
Speaker 5 (38:24):

I always leave a minimum twenty percent and they were
great service.

So there you go. So you did call her back
right after the date?

Oh I didn't call. I sent a text saying, hey,
did you want to grab a drink again? Which I
would never have done if it was someone I didn't
align with politically, So I don't know that I must
point to something.
Speaker 4 (38:44):
So so when you left the date, you thought things
went well enough for you to ask for a second date.
Speaker 19 (38:50):
It was worth the shock for sure. Again, I would
never have done that if you weren't in agreement on
so many topics.
Speaker 5 (38:55):
Yeah, all right, this is interesting.
Speaker 8 (38:58):
They've had Obviously they have two viewpoint of how the
night went, and there was something that was off for her,
but he said things that they were more aligned than
she's letting us.
Speaker 1 (39:06):
Yeah.

I don't know if maybe it wasn't politics that you
were off on, maybe it was something else.
Speaker 3 (39:11):
Well, you know, Matt, you're still going to find love somewhere.

Oh, and about the dinner part, like kind of made
it a point of contention that I ordered the opposite
of what she ordered. I literally only did that so
that we could each try one of each.

That that was a good suggestion.

It's a peppermint mocha, Martine threw us off on.

So my it was awful.

I was talking to this guy for about a week
and he wanted to go out. We agreed to go
to David Busters. I'm always for a fun time games.
I'm cool with that. So it started off bad. As
soon as we met up in the parking lot. He
was like, oh my gosh, I can't wait to you know,
play games like go hard. I was like, okay, cool.

So we get in and he buys everything, like he
bought all the tokens and everything, and it just I
ended up believing he was so competitive, but it was embarrassing.

It was so embarrassing in the little basketball game.

And everything, like it was like video games, like you know,
the ones that you shoot like the zombies and whatnot.
Like it was like he was so animated, like he
was like yelling at this like machine pretty much. And
I was like, oh my gosh, I need to leave.
And I ended up like, oh, you know, I'm not
feeling good. So I ended up leaving, but and he

followed me out and he was like what I thought
we were having a great time.

I was like, you on our first days at Dave
and Busters and.

The gun it's too competitive.

Nikkia, I guess you could say she was a six
feet It's amazing to me how bad some guys are,

Well, I know recently a girl that went on a
first date she met a guy on tender. Within the
first ten minutes of sitting down for dinner, he's already
talking about sex, like, what are you doing?

And she was completely turned off.

I got set up by a friend who's a nurse.
She set me up with this surgeon. I want to
say he was a neurosurgeon, but I can't remember exactly.
We went out for dinner and it was all right,
but I agreed to go to a second bar where
he We drove from that bar, I left my car there.

We drove his BMW to the next bar, and he
got so hammered that on the way back to the
first spot, we Chinese fire drilled in the middle of
a side street because he couldn't drive, So I drove
his BMW back to the first car the first bar
so he could get an uber home. And I'm pretty
sure he had to work the next morning. Would you

want that guy operating on you?

No, I'm fascinated. There are so many like creepy guys
out there.

I'm telling you, every time we do this topic, it's
always it never ends on man.

I didn't a lot of bad first dates, but one
that comes to mind was a date with a plastic surgeon.
I was so excited, I thought I was going to
get a free Brazilian butt lift out of the guy.
He shows up, looks nothing like his picture, looks like
Dobby from Harry Potter. We proceed to get dinner. He
got Mexican street corn that comes into play in a minute.

He starts talking all about his sex parties that he has. Meanwhile,
Quinn niblets through his teeth above his lip. I haven't
