To my day on Kids run Away.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
Well, good morning, everybody. Welcome into the Billy and Lisa
Morning Show. Now, Lisa, we gonna get rain all day Today's.

Speaker 4 (00:16):
Yeah, it's kind of one of those murky, cloudy, rainy days.
But it's gonna be warm sixties, and then tomorrow we're
going to hit seventeen.

Speaker 3 (00:22):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
Tomorrow is definitely the pick of the month. It's going
to be beautiful, right close to seventy degrees Tomorrow, sunny.
Oh yeah, I wouldn't take it. And then the weekend rain, yeah,
Saturday and sun.

Speaker 4 (00:34):
Italian it's mud season. April is not good.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
Yeah, a lot of mud out there.

Speaker 1 (00:38):
If I wore my winter jacket here, I was freezing.
Yeah this morning, like my long winter.

Speaker 2 (00:42):
I got the dog.

Speaker 1 (00:43):
It was like it was thirty five degrees out.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
I think it was thirty eight.

Speaker 4 (00:46):
When I came. It'll buy the second.

Speaker 2 (00:49):
Yeah, hot tip for the next couple of weeks, don't
wear any nice shoes. It's gonna be very muddy marked
the places you go, puddly and muddley.

Speaker 5 (00:56):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (00:57):
Oh, I just made that up.

Speaker 5 (00:58):
Lisa always says it.

Speaker 4 (01:00):
People are never nice and they will never be nice.
I don't want to be like a downer, but it's
so true.

Speaker 2 (01:07):
Right. You know what was really nice Lisa Dunovan's book
club last night at the Revere Hotel.

Speaker 5 (01:13):
I was there.

Speaker 4 (01:14):
I know you were. You made a surprise appearance.

Speaker 2 (01:16):
It was fabulous. I got to tell you your fan based
for the book club. They're all very nice people.

Speaker 4 (01:23):
Can I tell you Justin and Whenning? I end write
producer Riley. I really wish you guys would have been
there because there were so many guys there, like for
the first time, it was like half and half, which
I was so happy to see. I mean, obviously, you know,
because of Jeff Benedett and the subject matter because he
wrote about the Patriots and the dynasty, and also like

(01:45):
he's just an amazing storyteller.

Speaker 2 (01:47):
That must have been so different looking out and seeing
all the men close.

Speaker 4 (01:51):
It was incredible and I honestly think a great time.

Speaker 2 (01:54):
Were you saying that Justin could have met a guy there?

Speaker 4 (01:56):
Yeah, I just think it would have felt like really
comfortable sitting there, like listening to the stories because Jeff
Benedict had unprecedented access to the Patriots organization for years.
He was a fly on the wall and the stories
and just literally I had to shut it down. We
talked to him for an hour and then I had
to because it was just I could have talked to

(02:17):
him all night.

Speaker 2 (02:18):
Yeah. Yeah, it was a great room. By the way,
the Revere Hotel does a fabulous time.

Speaker 4 (02:22):
It was such a great setup thanks to Tony Alfano.
But Anthe Alfano, he's in charge of our digital he said,
such a great job. And Adam who's in charge of
our marketing, and Jordan and Olivia and the street team.
It was really it was really incredible.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
Because it all streams live now too, right it.

Speaker 4 (02:38):
Does like we went live at seven, so you can
watch from home. But again thanks to ninety plus Sellers,
who is a sponsor, thanks to josin Maine. Thanks to
Dental Partners of Boston. They've just jumped in as a sponsor,
dag Our Wealth Management.

Speaker 1 (02:52):
I saw they gave away a free cleaning.

Speaker 2 (02:54):
It was so cool.

Speaker 4 (02:55):
Yeah, if you took your picture in front of like
the what do you call it, the like guess Elfie's
selfie area, Yeah, you won a free cleaning. Sorry a
free teeth whiting.

Speaker 2 (03:05):
That's so that's so cool.

Speaker 4 (03:07):
Yeah, that was awesome. We gave away John Legend tickets
in the Raffle for raising a reader.

Speaker 5 (03:12):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (03:12):
Anthony the digital guy texted me at six fifty five.
He goes, We're five minutes from going live and the
room is packed.

Speaker 4 (03:20):
No, it was. It was such a great crowd.

Speaker 2 (03:23):
Yeaheah. It was a good time. And I got to
see Max and Riley, your sons. They were hanging out.

Speaker 4 (03:27):
Yep, they were. They got their book signed. Riley actually
bought the Tiger Woods book. Oh so maybe he will
start reading.

Speaker 2 (03:34):
Yeah, oh good. You know, I hugged and kissed Riley
and Max. I'm uncle Billy, you know, not the yeahs.
He hugged and kissed. Then I couldn't notice. Riley's shampoo
smelled very nice. You have to ask from what he's
using for air pro.

Speaker 4 (03:50):
This is a lot of products.

Speaker 1 (03:51):
You know how you said, not creepy, uncle vibe. Oh right,
that was the creepiest ever.

Speaker 5 (03:56):
The baby's creepy. Are you sniffing sniffing his hair?

Speaker 7 (04:03):
No?

Speaker 2 (04:04):
I didn't have to sniff. It just jumped right out
at me. I said, boy, this's got a nice fragrance
to it. I just say what I think. Okay, So
there right now, your next event is the Wicked Person, right.

Speaker 4 (04:19):
Yeah, so Gregory Maguire wrote, Wicked and Elfie just came out,
which is the pre quill that will start Cynthia Rebo.
So that book is out. He's doing the book club
May twenty. First, we posted the link to register. This
is gonna little I think it's maybe even already sold.
I mean, this is such a big gat for us too,
and it's at Johnson mean, so it's not going to

(04:41):
be a large green like two hundred and twenty people
or something.

Speaker 2 (04:45):
So the link already opened.

Speaker 4 (04:46):
The link is live, So if you're a big Wicked fan,
I would go right now all right.

Speaker 2 (04:52):
And by the way, we are playing the double play
this morning, double Play fly Away. We're going to announce
the artist of the day at seven ten, that's a
little more than a half hour from now. You've got
to be tuned in every minute of every day the
Billy and Lisa Morning Show.

Speaker 8 (05:06):
Yes, you know, I'm sorry I missed your book club, Lisa.

Speaker 4 (05:10):
It should have been me that was there, the Mayor
of the South.

Speaker 3 (05:12):
Then, so many men, so little time.

Speaker 4 (05:17):
They're actually asking about him. Last night, people in the
crowd are like, is the mayor here?

Speaker 2 (05:21):
He needs to come, We should have him come, or
you should have him come as a special guest.

Speaker 4 (05:25):
Well, I will ask him.

Speaker 2 (05:27):
The mayor of the South End in all of his glory.

Speaker 6 (05:29):
Yeah, listen, don't get me wrong. I would have loved
to have been there. But there's nothing wrong with the
book clubs that I go to surrounded by all the women.
That's cool too.

Speaker 2 (05:39):
Oh yeah, very cool. Okay, So we'll announce the artist
of the day at seven to ten. We'll do the
double play Flyaway, which is an amazing, amazing thing. But
we're coming up on entertainment. We've talked a lot about
the White Lotus. Mike White, who invented the White Lotus.
Interesting story. He says he came up with season three
in the storyline hallucinating. Oh, he was hallucinating and he

(06:02):
came up the storyline. We've got that coming up, and
don't forget it. Cheron's new song that we all love,
Azzi Zam comes out at midnight tonight. We're gonna take
you behind the scenes and the making of the song.
It's all coming up next.

Speaker 5 (06:14):
So hang in anything else you want to say to Billies.

Speaker 4 (06:16):
Don't sniff me from the Planet Fitness Kiss Rue Away Studios.
We're back with Billy and Lisa in the morning on Kiss.

Speaker 2 (06:26):
Hey guys, welcome back and good morning and a happy
Thursday to you. Gonna be kind of rainy today, Lisa.

Speaker 4 (06:31):
It's gonna be rainy, cloudy, but warm. Temps in the
low sixties. It's chilli right now, but it's gonna warm up.

Speaker 2 (06:36):
I'll take it. And uh. Last night the book club
was sensational.

Speaker 4 (06:41):
It was a packed house for Jeff Benedict, who wrote
the Dynasty book, among other things, Tiger Woods, lebron We
covered sports last night for Lisa's book Club. We've never
done that before and we had a lot of men
in the audience, which was so cool, a lot of
young kids, just big, big, avid Patriots fans.

Speaker 2 (06:57):
So Benedict a good guest to have the He's got
a lot of stories.

Speaker 5 (07:01):
Yeah. I pulled a bunch of clips from it.

Speaker 6 (07:03):
We'll do that at seven ten, right after the artists
of the day for the Flyaway talking about meeting Tom
Brady for the first time. He waited on Bill Belichick.
So we'll have all of that at seven ten. How's
that Bill?

Speaker 9 (07:15):
Good morning cruise to Eve the pharmacist here, just getting
home from another amazing book club. I want to say
hello to the nurses Elaine and Jody over at the Brigham.
They recognized my voice and I was shocked. I also
want to say hello to Dennis, his sister Sharon, and
the young Isabella, who were also very good company last night.

(07:35):
I look forward to seeing them all again. Lisa, that
was me waving at you from the Black ISSUV as
you were leaving.

Speaker 5 (07:43):
Oh least that was Steve.

Speaker 2 (07:46):
Hey, Lisa, you you fucker.

Speaker 4 (07:50):
Now the entertainment updates with the Billy Podstead, I.

Speaker 5 (07:54):
Just gave you the nicest compliment too.

Speaker 1 (07:57):
She's in her sassy Ira right now.

Speaker 3 (08:00):
Man.

Speaker 2 (08:01):
So tomorrow is a new music Friday, traditionally on The
Billy and Lisa Morning Show. The new ed Shearon song
Azzi zomb came out at midnight last night, and we'll
have it on the show, or rather it comes out
at midnight tonight, we'll have it on the show tomorrow morning.
But last night Ed Shearon released a behind the scenes

(08:23):
video of the making of Azzi Zomb and it's pretty cool.
Listen Carefu, show me how to move tonight, show me.

Speaker 5 (08:33):
And then whatever the word could be.

Speaker 2 (08:35):
I mean to say that my love.

Speaker 10 (08:36):
In person, Zeza show me how to move tonight, border
God cansnight, show me how the mood good water.

Speaker 11 (09:00):
About a tape, and then you get the finished product.

Speaker 12 (09:13):
Show me up.

Speaker 5 (09:16):
So cool.

Speaker 2 (09:17):
It's a jam and it's such a jam.

Speaker 5 (09:19):
It's so cool. It's on his YouTube. The whole video.

Speaker 6 (09:21):
It's lengthy, it's like fifteen minutes and he goes through
the whole thing start to finish. It's just so cool
to see the behind the scenes.

Speaker 2 (09:28):
Yeah, another edge, you're in a fun factor Itearn and
Benny Blanco are good friends. They've done a lot together.
Blanco talks about making the Halsey song east Side with
edgearon Me and Ed started doing this song.

Speaker 13 (09:42):
And I remember we pitched it up right away because
he was like, we should just give this to like
a girl or something.

Speaker 4 (09:46):
This like first demo, and then we pitched it up.

Speaker 2 (09:49):
We look so handsome.

Speaker 7 (09:53):
That was another.

Speaker 10 (09:57):
Jis let me light on the back of the bunch.

Speaker 4 (10:00):
I do believe you in you know.

Speaker 11 (10:06):
She's gone.

Speaker 2 (10:09):
Lay side.

Speaker 3 (10:13):
The pitch.

Speaker 5 (10:13):
That's voice up.

Speaker 6 (10:14):
Yeah, And that was a jam and that was that
one's number one.

Speaker 2 (10:19):
Yeah, yep, Hey remember Ellen Pompeo from Everett, Massachusetts.

Speaker 4 (10:25):
Yeah, Gray's Anatomy.

Speaker 2 (10:26):
Still on Gray's Anatomy, I think more than twenty years now.
And she tells a story about Taylor Sworth giving her
the biggest donation ever to her children's charity.

Speaker 14 (10:35):
I just, you know, got up the hutspun asked Taylor,
could you write me a big old check for children?
She honestly, she knew me all but twenty minutes, and
that girl wrote me the biggest check without blinking an eye.

Speaker 2 (10:47):
There you go. How about this our old friend Deborah Norville.
She's been on this show many times, right, Deborah Norville anytimes?
Announcing this week she's leaving Inside Edition after thirty years.

Speaker 12 (11:00):
Has been an honor and a privilege to be here
at Inside for all these years. A milestone like this
is a time for reflection, and on reflection, I've decided
that now is the time for me to move on
from Inside Edition. They made me a lovely offer to stay,
but there are things I'd like to do and places
I want to do them that continuing here don't permit.
So at the end of this season. I will be
moving on. I've got some exciting things in the work

(11:21):
and I'll talk about that later.

Speaker 2 (11:23):
I got to tell you my wife, Michelle and I
saw this coming. We watch Inside Edition two or three
times a week. She's never there. There's what's the woman's name?
We found it this morning justin who's her permanent fill
fill in? Mary Calviy, Mary Calvie, And I never even
knew her name.

Speaker 4 (11:39):
She's always been so good when she's called in. She's
a fantastic journalist. She knows what the story is and
what people want to talk about and what they want
to hear.

Speaker 6 (11:48):
But apparently she's kind of like Billy because she's going
to host a trivia game show.

Speaker 4 (11:54):
Wow, so that's what I wanted to do.

Speaker 2 (11:56):
That's the new thing. Everybody wants to do a trivia
game show.

Speaker 5 (11:59):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (11:59):
Interesting.

Speaker 2 (12:00):
Yeah, isn't Rob Load doing a game show? Yes she is,
but she is that show, honestly she is. She's been
hosting it my whole life. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (12:10):
Yeah, I don't know how. Yeah, what's the future with
what's the woman's name?

Speaker 2 (12:15):
Well, they're Mary Kelvey, who looks like a Stepford. While
you know, like Michelle and I are always trying to
figure it out because we can't remember her name. We
never knew her name, but she's on the show constantly
because Deborah's never there. Speaking of games and game shows,
justin the new Call of Duty game is out today.

Speaker 6 (12:32):
Yeah, it comes out at noon. This is for all
my gamer people out there, the new Call of Duty
war Zone. So the servers for the game, the Call
of Duty game went down at noon yesterday, so they've
been down. They're down right now. Oh and they're coming
back at noon and for the new Call of Duty
war Zone. And it's cool because if you play the
game the Verdance map, I know that doesn't mean anything
to you, but it's a big deal for OG players.

(12:52):
So it's free to download drops at noon. And again
it's ready to end for mature so watch the.

Speaker 2 (12:56):
Kids all right again. That ninety minute season finale of
The White Lotus is this coming Sunday night. The creator,
Mike White says he hallucinated the season three storyline. It
was like a fever dream. He was in the hospital
apparently with severe bronchidness on an nebulizer and didn't sleep
for two or three days, and the storyline just came

(13:18):
to him. That's how it happens fever Dream, and here
he talks about getting into the heads of all these
crazy characters.

Speaker 13 (13:24):
I mean, that's the thing. That's the funnest part for me,
is just like trying to like get in the heads
of different types of.

Speaker 15 (13:31):
People and trying to do something that feels credible.

Speaker 2 (13:35):
Guy, I don't know, maybe I'm just multiple personality disorder
or something, but I just like to express myself through
different kind of voices, and that's something I always.

Speaker 3 (13:43):
Like to do.

Speaker 4 (13:44):
I felt like this season went a little deeper in
character development. Do you think some of the storylines.

Speaker 2 (13:51):
Yeah, there were some bizarre ones, yeah.

Speaker 4 (13:53):
But still not as they're bizarre, but they're not like
outrageously bizarre.

Speaker 1 (13:58):
I think Tulisa's point. It just feels different than the
last few seasons. It feels like it's deeper. Yeah, like
the relationship between those friends and their deep rooted friendship
that has like a lot of sides to it, and then.

Speaker 4 (14:09):
That fan in that family that has a lot and.

Speaker 1 (14:11):
Then even like the couples in their weirdness, like like
you said, the young couple, the young guy and the
mean the young girl. I don't know, there's a lot
more deeper. Yeah, connect connectivity.

Speaker 2 (14:21):
We're still waiting to see who gets killed and who
does the killing.

Speaker 16 (14:28):
Did not talk about the White Loatus Monday warning because
I can't watch this Sunday night, so I don't want
to not listen to the show, but I would love
it a few.

Speaker 2 (14:45):
She said, we'll be talking about it on Monday. Well,
we'll warn you before we start.

Speaker 5 (14:50):
The spoiler alert.

Speaker 6 (14:52):
But I do think that my thing is is the
six forty six thirty in the morning, you know, because
people that maybe can up that early did not stay
up to watch it. It's true, maybe later on in
the morning. Maybe we put a little pause till later on.

Speaker 5 (15:05):
I don't know. I'm just saying, maybe you.

Speaker 1 (15:07):
Go to eight ten discussion because we go to bed early, right,
so we're staying up because we want to. So if
people were up at six thirty, they probably might not
have stayed up, but if they're about eight thirty, they.

Speaker 4 (15:15):
Definitely were up. I don't want people not listening, That's
what I mean.

Speaker 6 (15:19):
The other issue is that we can give a spoiler
say hey, I mean, hey, we're going to do spoilers.

Speaker 5 (15:23):
Turn it off. What if someone tunes in right in
the middle of the cold.

Speaker 2 (15:25):
They do wait until everybody else talks about.

Speaker 1 (15:28):
It, and I really's point, so may people will be
watching it on Sunday night. Like, if we're going to
stay up before it, I feel like.

Speaker 2 (15:35):
We're not normal. Normal people go to bed at eleven
o'clock at night. I think we give a couple of
spoiler alerts ahead and then maybe we do it at
seven ten or I'd be willing to wait at least
until late ten, but I'll guarantee you will have talk
backards earlier than that. Already telling us.

Speaker 1 (15:48):
True a normal adult. Nine pm is like you're just
down after dinner.

Speaker 2 (15:53):
Yeah, we're WEIRDO, It's true.

Speaker 17 (15:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (15:54):
When I had a normal job, it was eleven o'clock.

Speaker 2 (15:56):
Yea, yeah, because you got up at seventy to eight hours.
All right, Okay, we'll see what happens.

Speaker 4 (16:01):
We're gonna watch it and we're gonna talk about him.

Speaker 2 (16:03):
There you go. Travis Kelcey got to meet his brother
Jason's new baby on the podcast this week.

Speaker 18 (16:10):
Ye Finn and Kelsey, we're calling her fan.

Speaker 4 (16:16):
Jason refused to let me just go.

Speaker 17 (16:18):
Finn.

Speaker 2 (16:22):
I like her, I love her. She seems like a
nice person, so cool, Kelly Clarkson says she may leave
her talk show at the end of her contract with NBC,
which I think is within the year.

Speaker 4 (16:34):
It is within the year. She doesn't like New York.
She wants to spend more time down south. She wants
to spend more time with her children. NBC is trying
to like not have this happen. I wonder how much
money they're gonna throw at her.

Speaker 2 (16:45):
Well, she's got that way for her money.

Speaker 1 (16:47):
Yeah, but why can't they just film it down there?
Like Steve Harvey did a lot of stuff in Atlanta.
I don't know where she is down south, but like they.

Speaker 4 (16:53):
Can't maybe that maybe that will be the compromise.

Speaker 2 (16:55):
Yeah, anyway, Yeah, that show's popular, very popular. CELTZ lost
to the Heat in Boston last night. The winning streak
stopped at nine games. Red Sox have the home opener'or
out at Fenway tomorrow. The first pitch at two ten.
They say they want you in your seats by one thirty.
They're gonna have some tribute to one of them, to
Louis Ti yacht Oh passed lasta October. So it's always

(17:18):
a big day opening day out at Fenway Park. Alex Bregman,
by the way, is using the torpedo baton as if
he needs it. Love it, but it'll take it. We're
brought to you by Boston Vision. Imagine a life where
clear crisp vision always right there at your fingertips, no glasses,

Speaker 19 (18:00):
Fucker from the Planet Fitness Kiss one Away Studios.

Speaker 4 (18:05):
We we're back with a Billy and Lisa in the
morning on Kiss one owaight.

Speaker 2 (18:09):
And welcome back everybody. It's a Thursday morning. It's gonna
be a little rainy, but it's going to be beautiful.
Tomorrow might get close to seventy degrees.

Speaker 4 (18:16):
Tomorrow mix a Suncloud's pick of the week.

Speaker 2 (18:18):
Oh we'll take it. We have the Artist of the day.
Are you ready? The Artist of the day is the weekend,
which means you're listening for two weekend songs in a
row and what happens next?

Speaker 17 (18:30):
List?

Speaker 4 (18:30):
All right, if you hear two weekend songs in a row,
could play at any time, be caller twenty five and
you win a five day, five night, four day extravaganza
at Universal Orlando for four people. You get three day
park passes. This is an incredible getaway vacation and it's a.

Speaker 2 (18:48):
Good time to go right justin. Aren't they opening a
whole new thing there Universal Orlando?

Speaker 6 (18:52):
Absolutely, the Epic Universe opens in May, and I mean
the attractions are incredible. They have a Harry Potter attraction,
super Mario Brothers at oh yeah, five total Ones.

Speaker 5 (19:02):
It's gonna be nuts.

Speaker 2 (19:02):
All right, listen to two songs in a row by
the weekend and make sure you are call in. You
know what was epic last night? It was at Leasta's
book Club.

Speaker 4 (19:10):
Oh my god, it was next level. We had so
many guys there because we talked to author Jeff Benedict,
who wrote The Dynasty. He wrote the book. He also
did the docuseries on Apple TV that we all watched,
and I asked him a question about the first time
he met Tom Brady.

Speaker 18 (19:25):
He comes in and the first thing he says is
I've had a really day, and he kind of said
it like that, and I was like, ah, geez, like this,
this is not the way you want to start. And
I was trying to figure out, like what to do.
And it was Tom's birthday. I knew that, and so

(19:48):
I had brought a birthday card. It was kind of corny,
and I was gonna give it to him at the
end of the interview. Yeah, I was just gonna, you know,
I'd written out a thing to him and all this,
and I was just thinking, like, I gotta do something.
And so when he sat down, I said, I shoved
it across to the table a little bit. I said,
it's a birthday card, you know, And.

Speaker 20 (20:12):
It was corny, and he read it and I think
he realized it was corny, and he thought it was funny,
and we just kind of both started cracking up and
and it just broke the ice.

Speaker 4 (20:24):
Yeah. So, and he also brought sports memorabilia, like articles
for when when Brady first started with the Patriots. And
they didn't know this, but he's really into sports cards
and memorabilia, which means your son, This makes perfect sense
that he's partnering with your son in Cardvault.

Speaker 2 (20:39):
Card Vault by Tom Brady.

Speaker 4 (20:40):
Yeah, it's incredible. And then I asked him a question
about Bill Belichick going to UNC.

Speaker 18 (20:44):
When Bill left, a lot of people assumed that he
would go somewhere else, And there were a lot of
job openings that year and nobody hired. And then came
a setecond season and nobody hired. And I just think that,

(21:05):
you know, college football is not the NFL.

Speaker 2 (21:10):
It's not.

Speaker 18 (21:11):
And North Carolina is not Ohio State and Michigan. It's
North Carolina, And so the college football game is so different.
These are not men, these are boys.

Speaker 5 (21:24):
Well, I guess we know what side Jeff is on.

Speaker 2 (21:26):
Wow, doesn't he seem to think that Belichick will be
back in the NFL.

Speaker 4 (21:31):
Well he also within that conversation, you know, he still
has a record to break, so and he feels like
that's really important to Bill Belichick. So we'll wait and
see you ask about the girlfriend. I didn't, Billy, we didn't.
We were out of time. I wanted to ask him
so many more questions.

Speaker 1 (21:50):
Was that bringing attention to that?

Speaker 2 (21:52):
Why?

Speaker 4 (21:54):
I know, right, Yeah, it was, it was. It was
I have to mention that The entire conversation we have
last night is up on the Lisa's book Club podcast
and you can find that on the iHeartRadio app. So
just download it, make it a preset.

Speaker 2 (22:07):
It was a great conversation. So what's the next two?
Book club?

Speaker 4 (22:09):
All right? So Gregory Maguire who wrote Wicked, So if
you're a big Wicked fan, he has a new book out, Elfie.
He will be joining Lisa's book Club May twenty first
at Join Maine and the link is up. It's live,
so go register. It's going to sell out in like seconds.

Speaker 2 (22:23):
It's a great night out. People all have a ball,
they meet, They great, they have a glass of wine.

Speaker 4 (22:27):
Can you get to meet this amazing author?

Speaker 2 (22:29):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (22:29):
Yeah, they're such amazing storytellers.

Speaker 21 (22:32):
Hey, it's your girl, Sarah from Maine. And I'm so excited.
I just signed up for Lisa's book Club. I cannot
believe that I was even able to get in because
this is going to be such a hot event. I
can't believe you're having the author of Wicked. Come on.
I'm beyond excited, Lisa. This is such an amazing event

(22:52):
and I can't wait to meet all of you. And yeah,
you're just so excited.

Speaker 4 (22:58):
Have a great day.

Speaker 13 (22:59):
Love you guys so much much.

Speaker 4 (23:00):
Bye.

Speaker 2 (23:01):
Is the link already up for the Wicked one?

Speaker 4 (23:03):
The link is up.

Speaker 6 (23:05):
I think it's either crashing or sold out.

Speaker 4 (23:08):
It's people can't get I mean, it's a smaller event
because Gregory maguire wanted a smaller, more intimate experience. So
that's why jos and Maine is such a great venue
for that. It's a beautiful store up at the Burlington Mall.
So yeah, so this is a hot ticket.

Speaker 2 (23:24):
But that's a compliment when when it crashes and.

Speaker 8 (23:26):
C oh yeah, there's no way that the book Alphie
just sold out.

Speaker 4 (23:32):
Tickets just sold out in two seconds.

Speaker 12 (23:35):
I can't get in what.

Speaker 2 (23:38):
It's hard. I'm sorry. It's Alsa's book Club. It's the
hottest chicken in town.

Speaker 1 (23:43):
Like literally, it's running exaggerating.

Speaker 2 (23:45):
It's crazy. I was there last night. I had a ball.
I think it's a great thing, great thing.

Speaker 4 (23:50):
There were so many new faces to last night, which
I really like that. The circle just keeps growing and
growing and growing because that's the most important. That's why
we're doing it. We're doing it to raise money for
raising a reader, and we're also doing it so people
can make connections and do some fun things and meet
our authors that they wouldn't normally get to meet.

Speaker 2 (24:05):
All Right, a couple of things you're focused on right now.
You're looking for two songs in a row by the weekend.
That's the artist of the day for the trip to
Universal Orlando. The other thing you really want to start
thinking about is your X.

Speaker 6 (24:16):
H well specifically petty things you've done to get revenge
on that X. We saw this story this morning, we
have to talk about it, Lisa, Kiss one O eight.

Speaker 2 (24:26):
Once again, you're looking listening for two weekend songs in
a row. The weekend is the artist of the day,
and once you hear the two songs in a row,
you want to make sure you call it twenty five
and you'll win the immediate trip to Universal Orlando five
nights and four days, four days, four nights, one or
the other. But it's a massive, massive trip. So, Lisa,
you're looking at a story at the most revenge you

(24:47):
can do for an X, like, just go after.

Speaker 4 (24:49):
It, right, So creative ways to get petty revenge on
an X. And I have a couple of things that
people have posted to TikTok recently. Favorite one I know
Justin will agree with this is someone put a singular
raw shrimp inside a curtain rod. Usually the end screws off,
so they will never find the source of the smell.

Speaker 2 (25:11):
That is like level petty.

Speaker 4 (25:14):
That's you're right, that's that's crazy. Another one, which I
thought was really funny is signing them up for marketing
emails from very suspicious looking company, so you never really
know what's.

Speaker 2 (25:25):
Going on, and you think you may have all of
their you know, connections.

Speaker 1 (25:31):
That's easy, you don't need to have anything.

Speaker 2 (25:33):
Oh boy.

Speaker 4 (25:34):
Another one was I started leaving cheese slices on someone's
car underneath their windshield wiper like they were parking tickets.
That's totally messy. And then this really gross one my sister.
This is not me, this is on TikTok. My sister
repainted her kitchen cabinets during her divorce and purposely stuck
long hairs in the paint everywhere they were stuck.

Speaker 5 (25:54):
That's my biggest pete. And you're painting.

Speaker 4 (25:58):
Oh, it's so gross. I mean that's petty. Yeah, that's
like creative petty.

Speaker 2 (26:02):
Okay, Well, tradition is we go round the room, Lisa
have you ever been petty revenge and be petty with
an XT?

Speaker 4 (26:10):
No, I haven't, But I did that whole parking thing
when a guy stole my parking space on the back
bay recently. So he you know, you're waiting for a
parking space, and he pulled in and then got out
of his car, and I noticed he didn't pay the meter.
So I saw a meter maid and I walked up
to her and I said, that guy didn't pay. I
told her the story and then oh, totally, and then
she was like, I'm giving him, So it worked.

Speaker 2 (26:31):
That's a good one, justin how about you.

Speaker 6 (26:33):
I can't think of anything I've done, But I had
an X that I was unfaithful too, and she basically
sold my identity.

Speaker 2 (26:41):
Oh wow, I love that.

Speaker 6 (26:42):
Yeah, she sold all my information. She stole my license
and took my license and all my information, my social
Security number to somebody else so they could become me.

Speaker 2 (26:51):
Wow.

Speaker 5 (26:52):
Yeah, it was a huge deal. It was a huge
Like it was a nightmare.

Speaker 4 (26:56):
It's kind of illegal, right, very illegal.

Speaker 17 (26:58):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (26:58):
Yeah. I don't I remember ever doing something a revengeful
thing to an next and I don't remember anybody doing
one to me. And I just as soon saved the
time for Winnie, because.

Speaker 1 (27:10):
You're almany that was pretty petty of it.

Speaker 4 (27:14):
That you never had like clothes up in the tree
that was made up.

Speaker 2 (27:19):
Okay, when I moved out, nobody threw my clothes out
onto a tree that wasn't It would have been a
good idea.

Speaker 5 (27:28):
They were on the porch.

Speaker 2 (27:31):
And not in boxes neatly folded, Winnie.

Speaker 1 (27:34):
I gotta know, I honestly, I wish I haven't been
pettying so long. The last time I was petty was
like twenty eighteen, twenty No, maybe like twenty nineteen.

Speaker 2 (27:45):
It's been too long.

Speaker 1 (27:46):
But the last time I was really petty, I was
with my ex boyfriend and he was cheating on me.
So I group chexted all the girls that he was
cheating on me with because I had all their numbers
because I went through his phone, so that way no one.

Speaker 2 (27:58):
Thought I was crazy.

Speaker 1 (28:00):
So there was eight of them, I think it was
a lot more.

Speaker 2 (28:03):
Wow. So then very active.

Speaker 1 (28:05):
So then what I did, now, what I really did,
was he was sleeping at my apartment, so he had
a key to my apartment. So I took the key
off his ring, of his key ring. Then I kissed
him goodbye. I was coming to work here. I kissed
him a goodbye. I said, okay, I love you bye,
took the key with me and I went to work
like nothing happened. I came back. I packed up whatever

(28:26):
he had at my house. I put it on my porch.
He came, he came back after work, couldn't get in
the house obviously all his stuff was on the porch.
And then I had group texted afterwards every girl that
he was cheating on me with, so that they all
knew what was going on.

Speaker 2 (28:40):
God, you really gave this.

Speaker 5 (28:43):
Yeah, I think when he takes the cake on this one.

Speaker 2 (28:46):
Ladies and gentlemen, do us a big favorite. Please say
hello to Tom Petty. You're Tom Petty. So far I
should have I haven't been petty and so long. I
got to start doing that again. All right, it's a
topic time coming up. We want petty. We want some
really good ones. Either you have done it to an
X or an ex has done it to you, or
will even take friends that you have You have stories

(29:07):
from friends who have done it to somebody six one seven,
nine three one one one oh ain as always justin
the talkback is available.

Speaker 6 (29:14):
Yeah, joining the conversation has never been easier. You can
do it via the talkback mike, via your phone. You
do it on the iHeart app. You just look for
that little red microphone. That'll be the prompt to send
you a message in talk about time is next.

Speaker 4 (29:27):
Now it's topic time with Billy and Lisa in the morning.

Speaker 2 (29:32):
And the topic this morning is going to be petty
revenge for your ex. I'm expecting to get some really
good ones that Lisa. One of the ones you had
from the story was about a shrimp and a curtain.

Speaker 4 (29:43):
Okay, so yeah, this is from TikTok. Someone shared a
singular raw shrimp inside the curtain rod. Usually the end
screws off. They will never find the source of the smell.
That is like next level petty.

Speaker 2 (29:52):
Yeah. And some of the usual ones are throwing clothes
out a window, putting them on the porch in the
rain or something, right j Yeah.

Speaker 6 (29:58):
My favorite one from the list is they signed their
x up for scientology, so you can fill up the
forum and say they prefer to be contacted by phone
and that they work overnight shift, so the best time
to call is that three am.

Speaker 2 (30:13):
Let's go to Kimberly she's in Milford. Good morning, Kimberly revenge.
Do you have it?

Speaker 3 (30:20):
I do, morning guys. So I did a disguise her
a couple of years, and at one point he mentioned
to me that his former girlfriend went to the same
college as I did. I remember details. Then I found
out he was cheating on me with someone else. Then
I realized, hey, if he's cheating on me with this girl,
he probably never ended it with the first girl. So

(30:40):
I called his parents' house, pretended to be his former
girlfriend's friend from college that just last touch, got her
phone number, called her, went to her house, brought letters, pictures, jewelry,
the whole nine. He was in the Coast Guard at
the time. Our letters were the same letter with a
different name on the top. Called him together. I pretended

(31:01):
that I was just calling to chat with him and said, hey,
I you know, He's like, I love you, baby, I
miss you. And she's like really, I said really, because
Linda is sitting right here.

Speaker 2 (31:11):
Oh wow, I.

Speaker 3 (31:13):
Get on the phone and oh yeah. Next level tried
to say that I was just a runaway, was trying
to help, blah blah blah, but yeah, ruined two of
his relationships.

Speaker 2 (31:22):
Yeah, that one that's really petty and really.

Speaker 3 (31:25):
Dim, so that it can be a petty bitch.

Speaker 2 (31:28):
I guess, okay, do you have any new ones planned?
Where'd you go? Oh, let's go, she's gone. Let's go
to Crystal and framing him. Hey Crystal, give us some revenge.

Speaker 19 (31:44):
Good morning. So years ago, I had this boyfriend who
was a chronic cheater, always cheating on me. He worked
at a restaurant in framing him and after work they
would go to a different restaurant and get like, you know,
after shift drinks. He'd ignore me, wouldn't answer my calls.
So I ended up getting a job at that restaurant.
So when they would go in for those shift rnks,

(32:06):
he never showed up anymore because I was there.

Speaker 2 (32:09):
Wow, And did anything else come of it?

Speaker 19 (32:14):
I mean we ended up breaking out, which was great.
And I worked at that job for like four years
and I loved it. Yeah. I know he was not
happy with that.

Speaker 2 (32:20):
Yeah, So you have him to thank for the job.
But at the same time, it busted everything.

Speaker 19 (32:24):
Up, busted his plans.

Speaker 7 (32:27):
Yep.

Speaker 2 (32:28):
All right, all right, justin you got some of the
talkback regions, so to speak.

Speaker 6 (32:34):
Yes, I do, thank you very much. You know the
talkbackers appreciate you, Bill, and not forgetting about them.

Speaker 2 (32:39):
Good morning.

Speaker 13 (32:40):
So a year or two ago, there was a zoo
somewhere that was running this promotion where you gave them
the name of your ex and they would write that
person's name on a cockroach and feed it to the
mirrorcats while they live broadcasted, so you could literally watch
these adorable little preachers eat your ex alive. And I

(33:02):
may have submitted a couple of names.

Speaker 2 (33:04):
Was glorious. That's a good one. Yeah, I never heard
of that one.

Speaker 4 (33:09):
Yeah, it was a good fundraiser.

Speaker 5 (33:11):
Yeah, I must give you some pleasure there.

Speaker 2 (33:13):
Oh boy, let's go to Darcy and North End over
Hey Darcy, Hi, go ahead.

Speaker 17 (33:20):
So maybe twenty years ago I was engaged to this guy.
He had two kids. I had one. He didn't work.
I did. I had a good job. He decided that
he didn't want to be with me anymore and he
wanted to be with an eighteen year old girl. One
day he asked me, can you just not be here

(33:41):
today when I get home because I want to bring
her over. So I said, sure, no problem, and rented
a U haul loaded all of the furniture that I
bought it, bought for the house, which was basically everything.
So I was the only one working and loaded it
all myself and took off and he came back with

(34:03):
her and there was like nothing in the house.

Speaker 2 (34:06):
Okay, wait a minute. So you were with this guy
and he called and asked if he could bring his
new eighteen year old girlfriend home.

Speaker 17 (34:15):
Yeah, oh yeah, we were still living together, and he
was just like, can you just not be home because
I want to bring her by? And I was like, well,
I don't, you know, I don't want to words use
the words that I used, but I was like sure,
I'm like, yeah, no problem, jerk.

Speaker 2 (34:34):
And then you packed up all.

Speaker 4 (34:35):
The alhol that's good.

Speaker 2 (34:37):
I like that.

Speaker 17 (34:38):
Yeah, everything all on my own and unfortunately I had
to go back to my parents' house. But whatever, it
was worth it because I've never done anything like that
in my whole life.

Speaker 5 (34:48):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (34:48):
They must have looked like such a loser in front
of the new girl. Yeah, where's the front?

Speaker 7 (34:53):
You know what?

Speaker 17 (34:53):
The funny part. The funny part is right now that
I'm Facebook friends with him and his wife that you
second divorce.

Speaker 2 (35:01):
M of course, Okay, thank you.

Speaker 5 (35:03):
That's a good one, and that's why I don't go
on Facebook.

Speaker 2 (35:07):
Right, Let's go to Jeanne in Boston.

Speaker 17 (35:09):
Hey, Jeene, Hey, what's going on, dear Billy.

Speaker 2 (35:14):
You tell us what's going on?

Speaker 1 (35:15):
Jean.

Speaker 15 (35:17):
Well, I say this. I've never done anything, Patty, but
I had an ext girlfriend. This is back in eighty
nine ninety and you know, to be honest, I was
just unfaithful to her. And one day we you know.

Speaker 5 (35:31):
We spend the night together.

Speaker 15 (35:34):
I took my second car to work and when I
got back home, she was gone. So I went down
to the garage and see if I see her car,
and I'm looking at my car. I just couldn't believe
I had just bought a new Corvette. She threw flower
on that. She threw dish soap on that thing, she
threw olive, well, you name it. She threw it all
over my car. It was just totally wrecked, and she

(35:57):
flattened my tires.

Speaker 4 (36:00):
I love her, Yeah, I mean you cheated on her.

Speaker 2 (36:02):
I think you're really lucky you weren't home, because she
probably would have done worse to you.

Speaker 4 (36:07):
It's very true.

Speaker 15 (36:09):
Oh you know what, I'll tell you this. I I
was petrified when I saw that, and I gave her
a call and I said, hey, listen, I'm not even
going to present any charges.

Speaker 17 (36:19):
You go about your way.

Speaker 15 (36:20):
I go about my way. And you know what, up
to this date, I've never even heard of this.

Speaker 17 (36:26):
You know Michelle again?

Speaker 5 (36:27):
Wow?

Speaker 2 (36:28):
Oh yeah, Michelle wants nothing to do. Yeah, hunts the
corvette by the way.

Speaker 15 (36:33):
Oh man, it literally cost me a lot of money
to get that thing.

Speaker 13 (36:38):
We cared.

Speaker 15 (36:39):
It was just a night It was just a nightmare.

Speaker 2 (36:41):
Ill always tell a story. The corvette will always.

Speaker 4 (36:48):
Playing golf of his buddies.

Speaker 8 (36:49):
And he told me to meet him at his house
and that he would be there shortly, and I had
a key, so I let myself in and his laptop
was on with his Facebook messenger wide open with dozens
of conversations with other women. He was cheating on me
with like disgusting messages, including his best friend from high
school's wife. So I drove to his mother's house with
the laptop in hand, and I let his mom read

(37:11):
all the conversations and I left and I haven't looked
back since.

Speaker 1 (37:15):
WHOA getting his mom involved?

Speaker 2 (37:18):
That's great? Yeah, So he took the laptop to the
guy's moment to.

Speaker 4 (37:21):
Prove Yeah, to say, look what he's been doing.

Speaker 2 (37:24):
Why didn't you take it to him?

Speaker 1 (37:25):
Listen, telling his mommy is a lot better than telling
you about it.

Speaker 4 (37:30):
He's not going to listen.

Speaker 1 (37:31):
And now she knows who she raised, and now she's
halfway a decent woman. She's going to lay into her
son about what a jerk he was.

Speaker 2 (37:38):
Yeah, that's a good pat that's as petty as petty.

Speaker 6 (37:40):
Yet involving the parents. Yeah, it's another level for sure.

Speaker 7 (37:44):
Good morning, guys. The most petty thing I did after
a breakup was I waited about a month and told
everybody I was going to the gym, and then I
posted a picture of myself completely photoshop next to Billy
Costa and I had him drove it.

Speaker 5 (37:58):
There he goes again. Number one thing. Oh man chapel'l
already at Pig Pony Club.

Speaker 4 (38:05):
Hey Lisa, all the morning.

Speaker 2 (38:08):
All right, we got to talk about what happened in
the seven o'clock hour.

Speaker 6 (38:11):
Where do you want to start? Justin Well, you got
to start with the White Lotus. The finale is this weekend.
We're all getting ready for it.

Speaker 2 (38:16):
Morning everyone.

Speaker 22 (38:17):
I just want to call in and give a birthday
shout out to myself. My big plans for the day
are to binge watch White Lotus. Haven't seen a bit
of this season, but want to be caught up, and
no spoilers on Monday when I listened to the show. Yeah,
so thirty nine is going to be great. I have
no complaints. Kids, We'll come home, make me a birthday cake.

Speaker 14 (38:37):
Life is good.

Speaker 22 (38:38):
Hope you guys have a great day.

Speaker 2 (38:39):
Happy birthday, Happy birthday, thirty nine. That's a good year.

Speaker 6 (38:42):
Yeah, and make sure you're caught up for the finale
because we're all watching it Sunday night.

Speaker 5 (38:46):
We'll be talking about it Monday morning.

Speaker 2 (38:47):
Yeah, feel free to join us and watch it Sunday night.
Spoiler alerts from Monday morning, we're talking about it.

Speaker 4 (38:53):
I hadn't been this excited about a finale of a
TV show in a really long time.

Speaker 1 (38:59):
Same.

Speaker 6 (38:59):
Yeah, because we don't know what's going to happen, we
all have predictions, so yeah, we'll find out. Also for
our topic time, pettiest thing you've done to get back
at an X, We've got a lot of good calls.
We'll have some of those in the wrap up at nine.
But we gave our own right. Lisa told on somebody
that parked in her spot when he got back in
her Rex And next he got mad at me and
sold my identity to somebody else.

Speaker 2 (39:21):
Captain Mike Camp just curious, justin how much debt did
this gentleman acquire when he assumed your identity from your
ex and did that come with the encampment on mass av.

Speaker 4 (39:33):
Oh he's so funny, Thanks much. He totally loves you.
Oh my goodness,
